Carlisle A.C.T ATV Tire – 26x8R12
All Conditions Tire
3-Ply
For ATVs, utility vehicles, side by side, and fun karts
A-C-T ATV tires form Carlisle are exceptional equipment for most terrains and conditions. Constructed from heavy duty materials, A-C-T tires resists damage from punctures, cuts and abrasions common to off-road conditions.
Unique tread compounds get traction even in loose or wet soil while spaced treads prevent build up of dirt and debris that can reduce handling and cornering.
Carlisle atv is what one would call (GOOD STUFF), and it really is because of (PAST EXPERIENCE) of using these tires. its quality rubber, no (bead issues), something I have seen on other tires that have voids in the bead and it runs true.
it also holds up under heavy wear. its lugs are a bit skinny for over use or steep terrain but overall its a darn good tire.
The Kanati Mongrel by GBC Motorsports is the first true all-purpose DOT tire built specifically for Side-by-Side UTVs. You might recognize the name Kanati from our affiliated light truck tire. Marked by aggressive diamond-shaped lugs.
Much like the light truck version, the Kanati Mongrel’s tread is optimized for peak performance on multiple surfaces. The Mongrel can handle a variety of off-road terrain while remaining equally safe and suitable for paved surfaces.
The DOT approved radial also boasts an impressive 1,000 lb. load rating and an equally impressive 87 MPH “N” speed rating.
I drive my 2016 Rzr XP1000 both On and Off road. This tire is approved by ADOT in AZ for on road use. I bought the Rzr used and it came with a set of these tires on it. They have always handled well.
The local Polaris quoted me around $1,800. 00 to balance and replace all four tires. I Bought a manual tire changer. To protect the aluminum wheels. I also bought a MOJO-LEVER, a nylon tipped Breaker and installation Bar plus 5) 8oz bags of Balance Beads One for each new tire and 1 for the Spare.
I am 71 now and worked in a Chevron Gas Station in my 20s and changed a lot of tires on a Manual machine. These tires are great and mounted without a problem. The balance Beads make for a very smooth ride.
Every tool and the 4 Tires I purchased came to less than half the dealer’s Quote.
Nearly indestructible. mounted on Can-Am X3 Max. The 10 Ply rating is awesome. Was looking for a puncture resistant tire. Many, many miles of desert riding with an occasional u-turn, a wide u-turn and not always able to miss the occasional desert bush.
I do have 1 or two plugs in a tire, but any other tire prolly would have many more. Won’t mention any brands but some of the stock tires these machines come with are lacking in the ply rating.
The Tusk Terrabite tire is the ultimate all-terrain tire for your UTV or ATV. The truck style tread pattern and premium rubber compound provides excellent multi-surface performance and high mileage wear.

I thought I was going to love this tire. I love the looks. I love the shipping speed. The problem is the tire size, in my opinion, is not accurate. The advertised size is 27x9rx12. With the tires mounted on the rims and inflated the diameter is not 27 it is around 26 in diameter.
If you advertise a tire to be 27 it should be at the minimum 27. My stock 26 tires have a larger diameter and they are in a used condition. If you want a true 27 inch tire then dont buy these.
Drive mostly on hard pack back rds and rocky places. Was running Maxxis Big Horns and love them but not serving my needs and plus they’re very loud 20 mph or higher. These bad boys are nice and quite and ride very well.
Handling of the rzr 1000 is better and tighter. Highly recommend if your in the tire market and dont wanna spend 600 plus on tires. Hete they are and dont hesitate, buy them!.
It’s time to drive outside the lines. Whether youíre building the ultimate offroading machine or chasing thrills to the ends of the Earth, the allnew BFGoodrich KM3 is a nextgeneration mudterrain tire that is made to mud, built to climb, and created to conquer.
The BF Goodrich MudTerrain T/A KM3 features the KrawlTek Compound designed to enhance grip on rock and other slick surfaces. The Coregard Max Technology helps prevent sidewallsplitting and puncturing thans to race proven technology derived from the Bf Goodrich Baja T/A KR3 tire.
The TerrainAttack Design, It is a massive tread blocks are designed to deliver incredible grip from any approach. The Linear Flex Zone allows the tire to flex and envelope objects in aireddown situations and the Advanced Deflection Design helps guard upper shoulder area againts snags or spilts.
Have had the KM3’s in 32”x10”x15” on my Honda Talon for 650 miles and have used them in multiple different terrains such as the rough and rocky mountain roads of the San Juan’s and the slick rock of Moab and the clay deserts of western Colorado and am amazed at the traction and performance.
Wear is what I would expect from a tire with the gripping ability these have, more wear then I like but the grip is worth it. Also appreciate that the tire comes in the odd 15” size that Honda has adopted.
But, I am disappointed in the strength of the sidewall since there is so much build up about their strength and puncture proof. I punctured a hole in the sidewall while riding in the desert last weekend and while I was definitely not driving on them nicely, I was surprised at how easily they where punctured even under a lighter 2 seat talon.
Not a deal breaker, especially since I still have 4 fully functioning tires on the rig. I either replace all or one. But it does make me question all the boasting about the prevention of splitting and puncturing.
So far these are great tires on the dirt. We’ve had them for roughly 300 miles on a Polaris Ranger Northstar. We drive on quite a bit of gravel roads checking on cattle and going from farm to farm and what we don’t like is they pick up gravel and sling it into the wheel well and body so bad it sounds like your getting shot at in the cab.
Just waiting on them to spit out a rock and get the windshield.
The Grim Reaper combines an aggressive tread pattern with deep wrap-around shoulder lugs to give you uncompromising traction and performance. The Greenball Grim Reaper is a tubeless ATV and UTV tire.
This all-terrain tire offers a smooth ride with a zig-zag centerline for superior flat resistance. Excellent traction and performance comes from the deep-wrap shoulder lugs and aggressive tread pattern.
This is an 8-ply rated all-terrain radial tire offering enhanced ride comfort and superior puncture resistance.
I bought these for my 08 Yamaha Rhino 700, 26x10x12 front and 26x12x12 rear. First off, the service is second to none. I ordered these on a Friday and they were at my front door on Tuesday!! I cannot believe the difference in ride.
I had Interco Swamplites on it and what a difference. I love it. These tires ride so much more smooth running down the road, and handle incredibly well off road. It doesn’t matter if it is hard packed, rock, mud or anything in between you will cruise right through it all.
Not only that, they look absolutely sick!! I would and already have recommended these to numerous other people. Good Luck trying to get stuck with these on your machine.

The elongated shoulder tread improves high and low speed cornering with reduced rolling resistance.
The shop I take my RZR to asked me to run the motovator rt. I was hesitant at first but thought why not. I ride with a group of about 20 to 30 machines. The first trip out to Grand Junction Colorado, 3 miles into a ride I Get a cut in the side wall.
I thought well bad luck. we make a repair with the side wall repair kit to get up back to the truck. Get it back to the house, call the shop to see if they have another one in stock or can find me one.
No luck, so we do the best repair we can and let it sit overnight. We contacted the manufacturer to see if they could help in anyway. They told me there is nothing they can do and they didn’t have anyone near us that stocked the 35×9.
5×15 so instead of taking the chance destroying the tire, we pack up 2 days early and head home. On the way home we dropped off the Rzr at the shop hopping they might be able to make a better repair.
Not exactly sure what they did but there repair held up great. The tire held up and the group started going back and forth about going to this tire. They were a bit pricey at $468 a tire but it might be worth it, until riding back down we get a new hole in the sidewall of the SAME tire.
I called the manufacturer AGAIN to see if they think it could possibly be a defective tire and asked if they would be willing to prorate the tire. I was pretty mutch told tuff luck, and there was nothing they could do.
I will not be purchasing another tire from them. I will be going back to the tire I used before.
Awesome tire, true to size. Great street wear and great traction. Good mud and rock traction. Going to put 2 more on the rear. Using on my stock pioneer 1000-5
These tires are tough. Never had a flat or leak. It’s been 800 miles so far and the tread is at 90%. They have done awesome rock crawling. They are smoother and quieter on pavement. They are a bit heavy, so I wouldn’t recommend them without a turbo on your utv.
I also don’t think they’d be a good tire if you’re in the mud often. But for rocks, dirt, rough terrain, and rock crawling, they are great -m-2018 POLARIS RANGER RZR XP 4 TURBO EPS–.
A super-tough, puncture-resistant 8-ply rated bias tire, the Dirt Commander offers the perfect lug depth for optimal performance in all types of conditions. The deep siped tread design offers superior traction that allows the Dirt Commander to tear into rocks, mud, dirt, creek beds, grass, hills, and steep rock ledges.
The 8-ply rating construction ensures youll confidently dominate the terrain with optimal handling. Additionally, mud easily cleans off the Dirt Commander to prevent loss of traction.
I have a 900 trail razor. Stock tires are 26 8:12 in the front and 26 9:12 in the back. I wanted to run all the same size tires and wheels as well as a spare, so I went with 27 912s all the way around.
They fit perfect on the stock wheels and there’s no rubbing anywhere. Looks a ton better, and they are a much taller tire than the factory tires. They’re at least 2 1/2 inches taller than the 26s that were on there before.
Very nice tires. I put them through the test as soon as I got them. They did fine. I had my Polaris Ranger loaded down with logs when my old tire sidewall blew out. It had rained the whole week. I needed to drop this load at the top of the muddy hill.
It made it up the muddy path in 2 wheel drive. Nice!.
These are replacements for the same tires on my 2020 Wolverine X4. I have been amazed by the traction they provide. I have had no flats (10PSI) I bought them again so that should tell you something. Just make sure you have the same psi in both front tires or the machine will pull.

Absolutely amazing tires! I know lots of people love them on UTVs so I was unsure weather to order them for my ATV I have a can-am renegade XMR 1000r and I went with the 32-10-14s and holly cow they are the most amazing tires period! I will never go back to a ordinary style ATV tire these things are like cheating! Haha I recommend a locking style wheel and low PSI I’m running 2 psi on the renegade and it’s perfect.
Anyways hope my review helps you make the right choice by ordering these tires.
Truthfully I was a little weary about buying these tires basically because of the cost and there are not many reviews on them. Let me tell you I’m glad I did, these tires are the best I’ve had on my machine (4 different kinds) they are awesome in rock and hard pack as well as sloppy conditions.
So far only about 400 miles but treads are holding up better then I expected (standard compound tires) once theses wear out I will be replacing with the exact same Tire. Only downfall is that they are a bit on heavy side but not horrible for a tire this size.
Great looking tires. Fit was easy. Put on a maverick x3 max rr. Can definitely tell they are there and will need to upgrade clutch Took them crawling last weekend at hidden falls. Handled perfectly, aired down to 11psi.
No issues. Hoping to get good life out of them, we do all styles of riding except dunes.

Features and Benefits: All terrain traction; Enhanced controllability; Upgraded load durability; Gladiator Xcomp ATR Tires – The Gladiator Xcomp ATR is an all terrain, all season tire made for ATVs and UTVs.
– The tire ensures a stronger and more comfortable performance. The reinforced internal structure utilizes a polyester ply and steel belt combination to keep the ideal tire shape at all times. In this manner, the tire does not deform under the load and driving pressure, which boosts the load-carrying and withstanding capability.
This structure also enables the tire to minimize the road vibrations felt during the drive. The driving shock is absorbed by the polyester plies, preventing road distances from reaching the passengers.
– The model uses an aggressive tread design to upgrade the different terrain traction. The aggressive tread block placement, with the staggered elements and high void ratio, increases the soft, loose and uneven terrain traction.
The tread ensures the tires on- and off-road driving safety levels, optimizing the mud and loose dirt performance. The traction allows the tire to greatly enhance the self-cleaning ability as well. The optimal tread elements disperse mud and snow, and eject rocks stuck between the tread elements.
This avoids stone retention and further boosts the off-road terrain driving safety levels. – The Xcomp ATR boosts the handling with the stabilized footprint. These tread elements allow the tire to maintain the surface contact at all times, boosting the steering responsiveness and the driving stability.
This greatly upgrades the drivers control over the vehicle, as it promotes a quick and precise steering response and secured structural stability at all times. When it comes to ATV tires, there might be slight visual differences between brands and models even if the tires are of the same size.
My ‘13 RAM 2500 used to get stuck on wet pavement with the highway tread load range E tire it came with… it could be because of the nearly unlimited horse-torques from the HEMI… however now I can drive in some questionable-slick-sticky-muddy situations.
With rooster tails so long and tall the air traffic control personnel have put a no-fly zone around my property. Not to mention I might have to put a ditch witch sticker on the truck for tax purposes.
Any way great tire for the price especially being a load range E mud tire.
So far so good! Wish i could leave a 4. 5, but the 5 is fair. Only reason its lower, and this is specific to this tire size is with he bead protector and the dimension of this tire. It is extremely difficult to mount and set the bead.
This was for my dually running American Force wheels so that made it harder itself. You have to find a really good shop that knows what they are doing for this exact size of 35×12. 50R24. They do have a road higher pitch noise.
Much quieter that a Mud Grappler or Swamper though. Comparable to an Open Country MT road sound.
These were purchased for my grandson’s 2019 Chev 2500HD Duramax. He mounted them the day after they arrived and has driven some 300 miles and loves them. Low noise, great traction, and he loves how they look on his truck.
The popular Dirt Tamer tire is a proven favorite for all utility atv riders. The bold non-directional tread design has excellent traction in all types of terrain and conditions. This heavy-duty 6-ply rated atv tire offers serious puncture resistance and its tread lugs run deep into the sidewall for added protection.
The Dirt Tamer is heavy on performance, but light on your wallet.
We bought these to replace the two front tires on our ATV side by side. We already have these tires on the back. Wal-Mart had the best price on them. Shipped them to the store and had Walmart mount them for us.
Easy process! The tires did have mounting arrows on them, but they were described as a universal directional tire. I called the company and they said the arrow was a factory mistake and they really are a universal direction tire.
They look awesome. They r mounted on wheeler. Would not be able to try them out for three weeks. Hunting season. I will no more then how they work. Thanks Merlin.
Great tires but I shipped them to a WalMart with no tire dept. Took them in the ATV to SAMs Club. The wouldn’t remove the wheels and but tires on. Glad a Discount Tire was nearby

There are many different brands and types of tires available, so it is important to do some research to find the best tires for your vehicle and driving conditions.
Some things to consider when choosing UTV tires include the size of the tire, the tread pattern, the type of rubber compound used, and the load rating.
If you are looking for a tire that provides a smooth ride, then you will want to choose a tire with a softer rubber compound. These tires will provide a smoother ride, but they may not have the same level of traction as a harder compound tire.

When it comes to choosing the right size tire for your UTV, you will want to choose a tire that is the same size as the wheels on your vehicle. If you have a smaller UTV, then you may want to choose a smaller tire.
If you have a larger UTV, then you may want to choose a larger tire. You will also want to make sure that the tire you choose has a load rating that is appropriate for the weight of your UTV.
Once you have considered all of these factors, you should be able to narrow down your choices and choose the best UTV tires for pavement.
