First off, pay attention to what you are getting here folks. If you want front mounted transducer, this can work with crafty DIY, but you should look at other models that have that built into the motor.

It can be run with a remote and bluetooth if you install the Co-Pilot (not to be confused with i-pilot) Mine actually came with the Co-Pilot in the box, which I thought would be extra. Not sure if that was a mistake or something Minn Kota is doing at the moment because of the back orders on their other parts and the I-Pilot.

It can be run with I-Pilot which has the GPS functions and Spot-Lock. This will be extra, and will not be cheap, and currently it’s not available due to backorders. It will nearly double the cost of the investment, but that can be done at your leisure.

This is a strength because you have a fully working trolling motor and if you decide you want routes, directional headings, spot-lock etc – you do not need to resell and buy a new motor. The foot pedal is cheap.

It’s a side to side turner instead of heel-toe turner, its mostly plastic. If your typical use is to be on the pedal all the time and are weaving in and out of structures – I’d recommend stepping up to the terrova for a more traditional pedal.

This motor just plain and simple works better with a remote than the pedal. You also very much can have the pedal and remote hooked up at the same time. You just need to have the pedal set to Momentarily on and nothing else be pressing.

Any signal being sent from the pedal will shut down all reception to the remote and there is different beep to let you know that is happening. 1 beep ~ remote is working – 3 beeps ~ remote is being canceled by the pedal.

The rings are smaller than a post on batteries for a reason – you are supposed to be using a breaker with your trolling motor people. The negative also being small can be seen as a hinderance, but if you are running any kind of extensions to your battery, which is fairly common – you can just ring to ring connect them without needing to cut and recrimp the factory wire, just make sure you cover that connection.

So all in all, if you are a smart consumer and weigh your needs and your long term goals with a motor and this one fits the bill, you will be pleased.

I have been a Motor Guide user until now, and bought this trolling motor after fishing with a friend who had a very similar Minn Kota model. This one is powerful and the spot-lock feature works great, even in a strong wind.

Right now I am fishing for white bass and hybrids, so this feature is essential to stay on top of school fish once found. I like being able to keep the foot control separate in a storage compartment until I start looking for black bass.

That’s a great option. The small remote works great. And, I like the compact, relatively flat design of the foot control. I can figure out how to give it a higher angle if I want, but that is not predetermined for me by the manufacturer.

Also, the fact that the whole head of the motor moves, showing the direction it is heading, instead of just having a hard-to-see needle (like my older motors) makes it quite user friendly. I’ve only used it a few times, but it has been love at first sight for me.

Ordered late Sunday night and received it on Wednesday. That’s pretty fast! Thanks Lakeside! Love the new trolling motor. I did more fishing and relaxing than I ever did with the unit it replaced. I was always glued to the front of the boat, working every minute to keep the boat controlled in the wind.

Now I can tie on a new lure, eat a snack or just take a break and Spot Lock takes care of the boat. Love it!.

We bought this seeder to attach to our Yamaha Big Bear. The first weekend we used it, the switch went out. We were already committed to planting several fields and had drummed up a lot help for that weekend, plus our camp is a couple of hours north away from home in the boonies.

My DH had to “make it work” so we didn’t have to hand sow multiple fields. It’s unfortunate because we were super excited about adding a little automation this year. It now works but was a pain to deal with midway through the day when we really needed it to work.

It was brand new out of the box.

Just purchased unit and installation is straight forward. Unit seems to be well constructed but the ATV mounting bracket is poorly engineered. Once installed on ATV rack, the unit wants to rotate downward once loaded with spreading material or due to vibration of traveling across yard.

If your ATV rack will allow you to attach the mounting bracket to upper and lower horizontal rails (4 points) that are ~2″-4″ apart (all of my ATVs or other equipment have a single horizontal rail to attach to) this mounting bracket should be fine.

Otherwise, additional hardware and modifications will be required for this system to work properly. Also, gate control is very low-tech and not easily controlled although with a little experience I can probably manage this better.

I’m actually stuck between and 2 and a 3 rating. The hopper is nice and sturdy however it was not easy to mount. They provide one metal plate to attach to the 4wheeler that had limited options as to where to attach.

I had to cut off sections of my vehicle’s plastic rack to attach and even then had to use chain to keep it from tipping forward when filled. Then the motor does not always run. I have to mess with the plug to get a good connection.

I purchased this for our youngest grandson’s 1st birthday and he loves everything about it. Once it arrived it was easy to assemble I put it together alone and didn’t even take me an hour to finish…instructions were easy to follow.

We charged for couple of hours for first time and took it for a spin. He was afraid to drive on his own but it comes with a remote controller so you can control it. Comes with easy to install instructions. Led lights, can play music and best part is battery lasts whole hour and trust me by the time it’s one hour, he’s done having intense play time. I’m very happy with my purchase and highly recommend it for boys.

It’s safe ride with safety seatbelt and this is my sons treat every day. He’s so hyper but this fun gets me calm.

I purchased this trailer for more storage and better tires than my smaller garden trailer- and I am not disappointed. Instructions to assemble the trailer were easy to understand. This company includes an additional hardware which is a nice touch.

Hitch adapter fits Fimco spreader perfectly. I use it on a Can Am Defender. At first I thought I would need a hitch extender as well, but there is enough clearance. Best Price I could find on this was from Gempler’s as well.

This is an exceptional piece of equipment. Well engineered and manufactured, using quality components. The instructions are easy to follow and require minimal mechanical skills. I love the 12 volt variable speed control, high quality and works perfectly, and easy to install.

My one disappointment was that the 2″ ball hitch was about 4″ too short for my John Deere Gator. I initially mounted it on the front hitch, and that worked well. I ordered an 8″ extension for the hitch and the entire ensemble works perfectly.

Nice roof for my new ranger crew. Item arrived before expected receiving date. Item took about an hour to install as I took my time. I would follow instructions but wait to really tighten everything down until after all bolts are in place to ensure the best fit.

There were a few small imperfections in finish of roof when it arrived but no big deal. It sure made riding around during the Texas summer much better for the family.

I purchased this last week and had a heck of a time getting the boom together/orientated correctly as the instructions were a bit vague. After taking it apart three separate times I finally decided that the fourth was the correct way for me.

Took it out the next day and sprayed the marsh grass trails and food plots down. I opened the booms for the food plots and closed the booms for a 7 nozzle spray directly behind the UTV to get a heavy strength on standing weeds and could use it to water seed with that configuration just to get germination started.

That said, the knobs holding sprayer to tank come off if you forget to tighten them after removing the boom. Luckily I found it laying inside the bed of UTV. I ran this for a 10′ mix and sprayed out 35 gallons with a ice fishing fish finder battery.

So far this is a great buy!.

I knew my ranger was 48 inches wide because it is a midsize. I saw the dimensions of this tank was 47 inches so I assumed it would fit. When I bought it and put it in the back of the Ranger it does not fit.

The inside dimensions of my bed are 46 inches and it also flares in a couple of inches near the tailgate. I will take responsibility for not measuring the inside of my bed, but if I were going to manufacture something to fit in the back of a UTV, I would make sure that it would fit in the most popular UTV sold on the market.

Great for use in the bed of a UTV. Low profile tank keeps the load low, reducing the risk of roller due to water or liquid displacement on uneven ground. 7 Nozzle folding boom provides 12 feet of spray coverage per pass.

Quick release boom is handy, nice to be able to remove the boom when not necessary. Multi-Lid that is included is neat, it has a cup attached to measure product when mixing.

My grandson who is 4 (soon to be 5) loves this ride. Well made and has 3 max speed settings. Using the throttle, speed can be adjusted within the max speed.

This disc/cultipacker is a beast! Before giving in and buying this product I bought a cheap ATV disc made in China. What a pain it was to get that disc to perform effectively. The Tarter disc/cultipacker is so much easier to get the job done.

I have used it to break new ground on several logging decks and deep woods plots on our lease. Frankly, I’m convinced my ATV will break before this disc does. The adjustability of the disc height is super easy.

If it’s too hard to pull through the dirt you just give it a few cranks to lift the discs up a bit until you’re good to go. The disc angle adjustment is also very easy. With the cultipacker in the raised position, the weight on the discs is more than enough to cut through unbroken ground without having to add extra weight.

The cultipacker is very easy to lower and does a great job of breaking up dirt clods and pressing seed into the soil. I just finished putting in about 4 acres of fall food plots with it. The machine is also super easy to transport from food plot to food plot – just lift the discs up all the way and you can cruise to your next plot at up to 25 mph.

It’s a large, heavy product that’s not easy to transport, so I take off the removable ball coupler and leave the disc hidden under a camo cargo net and chained to a mature tree on our lease. I use a Suzuki King Quad 750 4×4 to pull it and it does just fine.

If you have the budget, this is the ATV disc to buy. If you don’t have the budget, my recommendation is to save up until you do. FYI – it was delivered direct from the manufacturer fully assembled in a crate.

This is a solid piece of equipment and very heavy. It is more pricey than other similar equipment but it should last a lifetime. I have not used it in the field yet. The only issue I have with it so far is there is no manual or instructions on usage and settings.

I contacted the manufacturer for help and they sent me a parts list. That’s fine but it doesn’t really help a newbie get started using this beast. Maybe a seasoned farmer understands how to use the multiple adjustments and settings but I just expected a little insight on how to best use the equipment, especially considering the price.

Overall, I would recommend it.

i bought this a year ago to put in some food plots at my hunting property. it worked well but after one use (about 4 hours) i was finished and put it away. i didn’t realize that one of sets of discs had migrated out due to ripping threads off of the end of the axel.

i noticed this this season while getting ready to plant my brassicas. i called Tarter and explained what happened. they told me that i was past the one year warranty (by 2 weeks) and that i would have to buy a new axel.

Also, all of the “U” bolts holding the discs on were badly bent so i will be replacing them as well. I was only discing bare field that was freshly cut so it wasn’t hard on the tool. i believe that the nuts weren’t torqued adequately from the factory so now i am gonna have to pay out of pocket for a new axel, U bolts, nuts.

Good product if properly torques but bad customer service.
