To the veterain player it brings them up to the new version and might fill in some background they might not know? The plastic miniatures are beautiful in their sculpting and contains a little variety of Space Marines and Necrons.
With these two armies a player can get started playing in the 40K universe! There is no terrain pieces, nor dice included. So for a new player the battlefield will be a little sparce and will have to make sure to have some D6 (6-sided dice) to play.
Overall it was a great price for a starter edition of 40K!.
I didn’t get one when they original released, so made to order is amazing. For the amount of stuff you get in the box, it feels like a rare bargain in an otherwise expensive hobby. I wish GW would do this more often to help us beat the scalpers who scoop up everything limited edition.
The only downer is that the decal sheet in my box was misprinted. I have enough spares for it not to matter, but if this were my first foray into building a primaris army, I’d be more upset.
Even though theres no dice, terrain measuring rulers, this set comes with some amazing looking marines and necrons. Around 60 pieces and also included is the new codex in hardback. This has been hard to get hold of especially at a decent price.

Just like the full size one I owned in 1972. I like the feature that the model year is fluid as the kit contains bumpers and grill designs that can render it as an earlier model as well as the 1974 when rubberized bumpers were needed in the US.
Mine was a 1968 model so I am replicating that year. My only regret is that the kit does not have alternative dash board and steering yokes so it can be truly like my US left-hand drive model. The Mazda Miata MX5 kit has those features.
Aoshima’s MGB kits create a well proportioned and beautifully moldef model. This is the rubber number version which can also be made with chrome bumpers and wire wheels. If building an older version, you should lower the ride height slightly.
This kit is a great model all parts fit as the should , with very little flash. Instructions were dead easy to follow. The fit and finish of the kit is unlike a lot of model manufactures , it actually looks like the real thing parked in the garage.
I can’t say enough about this kit and the 68 MGB as well.

Have tortured this truck for 12 years now. High speed crashes, overpowered batteries meant for planes. Rolling down hills and speeding into signs at 30+ mph. Today I ran it over with a full size lifted golf cart that had multiple people riding it and the truck only broke a front control arm, a rear rim, and the drivetrains are a bit shaky.
Other than that everything including the steering works perfectly.
I ordered a truck for my daughter since she was feeling left out when my son got one for his birthday. The stampede is a standing tradition for backyard bashing. I had a friend with one when they first came out and they are so much better now it’s new batteries and updated radios.
The run time is great compared to what it was years ago. I added ball bearings in the wheels for reduced wear and longer run time. They do make the truck a little faster but everyone loves to play longer.
The shipping was super fast fedex I had the truck in under a buisness week from the time I ordered.
Fast, upgrade your battery and get a wheelie bar. The steering knuckles are a little weak. I’ve broken two already. The motor went out after one week of use. But still gave it a 4 because when it isn’t broken it’s a lot of fun.
Going to upgrade to brushless and metal steering components tomorrow.

This is an absolutely incredible recreation of the Mustang GT4. Great detail on each piece, zero flash, and goes together very well. I highly recommend this kit.
Tamiya kits are the standard of the industry. Ford Mustang is one of my favorite cars. When I saw the price, I bought the kit. The whole process took me 30 seconds. When I opened the kit it was exactly what I expected.

I don’t know how you can receive this sort of quality for 150 bucks. Is it going to break? Yeah. Are you going to have to tighten some screws up? Yeah. my wheel nuts have already come loose a little bit from the torque.
I beat it up pretty good and it seems to hold up so far and have put a seven cell NIMH pack in it. Really it is set up pretty good out of the box. You’re not going to get a lot of support at the hobby shop on these because they can’t make any money on them but parts are cheap available everywhere online.
I don’t think you’ll be disappointed. oh yeah it’s not really waterproof in deep puddles but you can dry it out and it’ll work again.
I was skeptical about getting this for my son because the others we looked at were more expensive. However, this has been well worth it for my son and for his dad and I. It’s fun to watch his expressions when it flips over something and lands on its wheels every time.
It goes very fast and will go over snow, mud and ice. Where we will our weather conditions constantly change but it adapts great. You have to make sure the battery connections are tight because they will come apart if you don’t.
I do recommend getting extra batteries because you’re having fun time flies and its nice to have a couple extra around. Definitely a great buy!.
This truck is really fast, which was a complete shock. The downfall is the workmanship. We have already had to replace the motor, the ESC and power switch multiple times, the chassis ripped to pieces on about the 3rd run — all within 3 months of getting it.
The hardware is baloney, wheel nuts and screw heads strip constantly. You have to use locktite because the screws come stripped from the factory. And parts, yes they are available but they are expensive! We have 2- 1:8 Losi MT’s, an Arrma, an ECX and a Traxxas and I think we spend more on the Redcat than we do all the rest put together! We have 6 trucks all in great working condition.

Not the quality expected from AutoArt. The rear louvers feel like lightweight low quality plastic, the gull wing doors do not open evenly (the drivers door only opens 2/3 of the way up as compared to the passenger side door), the car as a whole feels too light to have a fully diecast body shell.
It looks good but does not have the quality feeling for the high price. I had expected a better model than what was received.
Incredibly detailed and accurate. All doors, hood, and back louvers as well as engine cover operate the way they should. Beautiful little model. I don’t recommend being too rough with it (ie don’t let small children handle it unattended) but it is as durable as one would expect for such an intricate model.
The detail of this first production is amazing. There are several people complaining that the finish is too shiny compare to the actual real car. it is a model it doesnt start like the real car too.

i have been looking for this model kit for a year or so. the shops i’ve visited said it didn’t exist. now i have one and had to take it by said shop and prove them wrong. i don’t know about durable? it’s a plastic model.

This orange GTO Judge is awesome. Details are better than anticipated: engine block is Pontiac blue; badges, side marker lights, taillights, stripes & emblems are spot on and in scale; opening hood a nice touch, and overall detail is very nice – All for a reasonable price.

Excellent truck for the price, very happy with it, very fast on 3s, and no major breakages yet after about 8 packs. It does need some tinkering before running for the first time, primarily setting mesh between pinion and spur gear, and making sure grub screw on drive cup going to front diff is tight, and threadlock anything related to those 2 areas and you’ll avoid early failures there, plenty of mention of the same online and in other reviews.
Has taken a fair amount of flips and tumbles and still going strong so I would say built very well for an entry level truck. It faired far better than the Jumpshot that I bought at the same time which has been out of action and needed spares on both its first 2 goes, which Is odd as maverick is hpis cheaper line of models so you’d think the hpi ones would be better made.
This is my first proper RC car and it’s a lot of fun. After looking at lots of cars and watching you tube videos I thought this was a good one for the price. The main body “lid” is a little flimsy, but it doesn’t really affect the fun unless you are doing very destructive crashes.
Can’t fault this car, bought it for my sons b-day. He and I enjoyed it so much I had to get one for myself. The only let down was one of the wheels wasn’t fitted properly resulting in it flying off on the first outting resulting in a trip to a model shop for spare nuts, bolts ect.
Apart from this very fast and durable. Would have been a 5☆ if not for the lazy assemble.

their support is a joke ! if you can’t rectify your mistakes. or expect the consumer to pay for your mistakes. ultimately, it will be the demise of your company. now I have to file a dispute because they won’t help.
