Best Updos For Thin Hair (2024 Updated)

I was skeptical about purchasing this product line. Most volumizing shampoos, conditioners, and styling products seem to be formulated for younger women and tend to be very drying for anyone my age (60).

Because this line is marketed to women who are older, I decided to give it a try, and I’m so glad I did. Not only did this product give my hair volume, lift, and density, it also made my hair soft and shiny.

I could even run my fingers through my hair without getting them stuck or feeling residue, something that happens with a lot of other volumizing hair products. I love the volumizing shampoo and conditioner in this line as well.

If you are a woman of a certain age and are finding that you hair is not as soft, thick, shiny, and strong as it was when you were younger, definitely give this line a try. These products moved me much closer to having the hair I used to have.

I have never had a worse experience with a hair product than with this product. I have fine hair so I was excited to try but this literally felt like glue in my hair. After I applied, all my hair clumped together, making it look like I had numerous bald spots.

When I tried to brush it out, my hair just moved in a large clump. I literally could not comb my fingers through the product. I tried to use water to rinse it out and it did nothing. I legit had to wash my ahir with shampoo quickly in the sink before work to get the product out.

Ironically, my hair never felt more voluminous when I got that product out of my hair. Really made me appreciate the little volume I had.

OK so I had a frizz reducing treatment done to my hair and it absolutely knocked out ALLLL of my natural volume. I thought i’d have to wait months for my hair to grow out, but then I found this product.

Now, it won’t give you the insane amount of volume shown in the product’s before/after picture but it will give you some and definitely make your hair look more alive. The difference is apparent, and I’ll be using this until my hair grows out.

Can’t live without it, I was shocked that it works! Don’t need much product btw. Use a couple sprays on damp hair, put your hair in rollers, and after an hour you’ll see the results =) I only use this in the very front section of my hair btw (where I put a couple of rollers).

I have tried many products from this brand, they’re all high in quality. This leave-in conditioning is as good as I expected. The scent is pleasant but not strong. I apply evenly to my hair after showering, flowering uo with blow-dried.

My hair remains silk but not dry after I dried my hair. It also keep my hair moist without making them greasy. I definitely recommend it!.

I have fine, flat, straight hair. I have to wash every day/ every other day with dry shampoo in between. I use this on my roots when I blow out my hair and I get really good volume (better than a well known expensive brand mousse) without it being crunchy or tough.

I find my hair looks cleaner for longer when I use this on my roots versus using nothing. I’ve purchased this numerous times over the last few years and will continue to do so. It also has a very light and sweet vanilla type of scent which is different than most other brands.

Honestly I was super shocked by the quality of this mousse. I usually always buy expensive products for my hair but I was on a budget and decided to try this. It was only about $4 at Target. This mousse is nice and thick, the smell isn’t unpleasant, and it doesn’t weigh down my thin hair.

I apply it to my damp hair and blow dry it to hold my style, and it provides good hold all day with a little hairspray to seal in the style. I lost a lot of my hair when I was younger so now it’s very thin and I’m always hesitant about products weighing down my hair or making it look greasy the same day I wash it.

This product doesn’t do that and for only $4 I am thoroughly impressed.

I have very fine, long thin hair and I’ve tried lots of products from high end to drugstore. As far as shampoo and conditioner my favorite is , no matter what I else I try I always come back to this.

As far as mousse is concerned this is my favorite product. I hate mousse that weighs my hair down and makes it look crunchy and hard. This mousse does have a strong hold and gives body and volume. However, If I just want my hair to air dry, I apply the mousse to my roots and put it up in a clip and take it down to let the rest dry.

My hair gets the Boost it’s needs, and when I apply to my whole head of hair it doesn’t look hard or go flat!.

So I was a little nervous to try the hair wrap as I am not great with up do’s. I have a fairly basic morning routine and was having trouble with just putting my hair up everyday. it was too long to just twist up in a clip and I couldn’t tuck into a neat bun.

but like my hair long because I work out daily and its easier to put in a ponytail. So I took a chance on this little wrap piece. Thanks to other reviews, I decided to go to Ulta and look at the different colors in person – yes – you def.

have to check which is closest to your own color. I found that chestnut worked well my color so I purchased it. I really like how easy it is to wrap around my hair bun and then swirl around my hair to create the messy bun look.

My only reservation is that the inside band was frayed when I bought it (didn’t notice that) and it is soon going to break. so make sure you check the band for issues.

I am in love with the highlight wrap. I was born with thin/fine hair. It was never fun because my options for any super cute hairstyle, were never possible. Then one day while shopping at one of my favorite stores, ULTA, I discovered the HAIRDO highlight wrap.

Always been, and still am, a big fan of the wrap hairstyle but thanks to my sad thin hair, trying to create one via my own hair, was a disaster. The HAIRDO wrap made it possible and totally transformed my look.

I always receive compliments. It’s easy to place around my own hair and stays secure all day long. Before HAIRDO, I spent $600 for hair extensions made of human hair. They’re wonderful but I find it’s a lot of work to mix in with my own hair especially so the where the clips do not show through.

I live in Florida. Humidity is just part of my life and creates havoc on any hair style. The wrap is great because it does not frizz. I cannot wait to purchase additional HAIRDO pieces in other styles like the ponytail, clip in hair extensions or invisible extension.

I was told a Full refund would be issued due to Vendor miss colors. Those Are Not the actual color you’ll get. No, it’s Not the PC or phone your using as they state to justify keeping that money. There colorist doesnt know the difference between Light Brown an Aulburn.

I had to return 2 items before I got the color right. I was charged $7. 95 both ways for a total of $31. 80 to ship just a few ounces. They said easy returns. I guess I missed the fine print. The nature of purchasing wigs online often requires a few tries before you find what works for you.

There are many companies out there with far more reasonable return options, Never mind free shipping – they gouge you for more than what it costs them. This is my 4th purchase from them. Never again.

First I ordered Mimic Hair Wrap in lightest blond shade and when it arrived it was more golden blond than the almost white and beige pictured on line. I returned it. It cost me a total $21. 84 with $.

95 a donation to breast cancer. I received a whole $4. 88 REFUND. Can’t figure the math on that one. In meantime I ordered the Fun Bun in Winter White( I have almost all white hair). It looks like a very light grey.

So unless I color my hair this one is useless but I won’t send it back for the little bit I get back. Very unhappy with whole setup.

After 40 pages of purchases, this is my first 1 star review. I ordered a small, stated as 4×2 and got one larger than a stated medium of 5×3. One inch each direction doesn’t sound like much but its HUGE in a hair bump, which is why only 1 inch separates their stated small from medium.

Their response to me was the bag should say small. I responded that regardless of what the bag stated, what was inside was larger than a medium. I sent 2 photos next to a ruler to show how huge it was.

I was then told there could be variations in size and I should alter it myself! I stated their description didn’t mention you may order a small and get a medium or have to alter it yourself. This shop refuses to take responsibility for their error by paying for return or initial shipping cost.

A buyer should NEVER lose money returning the wrong item!.

Received my chignons in a very timely manner. They are made very well. The shop owner is nice to work with, she led me to a video on how to take them apart and put back together. They are a very generous size, too much hair for me so now instead of having two, I have three.

\nI like the colors. However, the blond is very light, I could say it is white. The color is just as pictured. The brown is true to picture color as well. I use the bigger brown one when I wear a turned up chignon cause my underneath layer is darker.

I use the light one in my chignon when I turn it under because my top layer is light, works perfectly that way. \nThank you for your help. \n.

These are really good quality. It took some time to ship but that’s to be expected when they are handmade. I ordered 1 of each size. The dark brown color matched my hair really well. The other reviews are correct, the large size is huge, however I think with help styling it it could look amazing.

Fantastic. I bought the purple one as my hair is that colour. It’s a perfect match I even had trouble convincing my hairdresser that it wasn’t real!! I have since ordered a second one but Please make the longer hair pieces in that colour!!.

This one is my second one. Wanted a spare I loved it so much. One I use for everyday the other is for when I go out. The color matched up so well, couldn’t tell between my own hair. My husband even commented on it.

I’ve bought this topper before and I love it! Looks totally natural, once you figure out which color to get. Love the very small base and the styling flexibility this gives me. I’ve bought the 12-inch length when my hair was shorter, and now I buy the 18-inch length and trim it to my longer hair length.

It hides and blends in with my baby fine hair and thinning part, without looking wig-y. I put it in a ponytail or French twist often. I love that it always looks polished, even when it’s hot and humid (which flattens my own hair) or raining or whatever — and still looks 100 percent natural.

I do have to reposition the clips some days, depending on my hairstyle that day, but it’s no big deal and not hard to keep it comfortable. A winner!.

The Jon Renau Easipart HD 18″ topper is the first topper I ever purchased AND wore. I started being unhappy w/my bio hair back in 2004 and started lurking in wig sites. I ordered a few over the years and hated all of them.

They were all only costume quality and looked totally “wiggy” and unnatural. I would buy a topper, hate it and give up for a while resigning myself to doing my best to style my hair and just live with it.

But as I got older, the issue became impossible to conceal, my hair just looked BAD. It was thin, getting gray in places and basically crazy cat lady hair. I finally went to a professional & tried on a bunch of makes and models and settled on the Easipart.

Best thing I ever did for myself. First one, bought in 2016, I still wear. Bought my 2nd 2 years ago. I wear the brown highlighted colors (6F27 & FS6/30/27) they look totally natural. I get compliments on my “hair” all the time.

The secret to long wear is to not wash as often as they tell you. I wash mine 4 times a year but I don’t sweat in them. If I’m going to work out, I wear a ball cap. Also, I only use heat to smooth the ends, I use a blow dryer and a round metal brush.

The ends can get rough and the hair will clump and not “flow” after a while. I smooth about once a week.

This is not my first topper, but it is definitely my favorite! I have paid lots more money for other name-brand toppers that do not look as natural, or beautiful as this. I chose FS17/101S18 (Palm Springs Blonde) and it is truly a wonderful ash-blonde topper with many highlights.

I have extreme hair thinning on the very top of my head, and this gives me perfect coverage. The very best thing about this topper is it looks so natural that no one knows it is a topper!! This baby is my favorite.

I do not find any shedding of fibers and I can curl this to blend with my natural hair. ALSO, it is very lightweight and comfortable, that I forgot I was wearing it. The California Blondes selection for this topper is incredibly gorgeous.

I have to admit that I was a bit hesitant about this purchase. $125 for a weft of hair? This has been money well spent! My UP is GORGEOUS! Silky, glossy, smooth hair that matches my own perfectly! I can’t stop running my hands through my hair.

I think I’m going to order the full 21′ set because just the UP has opened up SO many style options that I’ve been dying to try. You won’t reget it!.

First, this is Beautiful hair!! SO comfortable to wear- more so than any other extension I have purchased. I just wish it was a bit thicker. more hair to it. Also I ordered the ombre of Peanut butter and Jealous.

it doesn’t look the same as the samples I ordered. The samples had the perfect dark root color for my hair, but the actual UP didn’t. It is almost the same lighter color throughout (top to bottom).

I have this four stars because it is a beautiful color and the quality and thickness is amazing. Unfortunately, I had a hard time clipping this into my hair and making not obvious that this wasn’t my natural hair, finding a way to hide the extension from poking out if I styled my hair high up on my head.

When I did a low ponytail or braid my hair just would not blend into it. I’m so bummed but I’m going to grow my hair out some and try to do a low braid or pony tail more easily because this is a perfect match to my hair and i am so excited to use it correctly.

I would definitely say this is more due to user error and not any way a reflection of the product. I’m sure I just need to get the hang of attaching this properly when trying to do a bun, and my hair is just too short (shoulder length) for me to get it right.

I read reviews of other shoulder length wearers before my purchase. I wish BFB had some tutorials using the up on short hair for reference.

I have worn this topper with great success over 3 years, but the last one was a bit off the mark. First, shorter than advertised with less hair [that part is not a huge negative because it does tend to pouf over the crown].

The clips are shorter. It also began the inevitable frizz at the ends almost immediately. I still love it because I find few stylish choices for those of us over 65 and have shades of gray hair. I find a full wig unendurable, but this topper is light, airy, and stays put after hours and hours- even at the beach.

I really don’t know what I would do without it because of my skin condition.

I bought this topper off of the closeout site after returning the Brenna wig. I’m new to “helper hair” and the Brenna was just too much hair for me to feel comfortable in as a newbie. I got this topper in the color 10 Luscious Caramel & it is an almost exact color match for my bio-hair.

The topper is very comfortable & I almost forget I have it on. The day it arrived, I put it on before my husband & son arrived home from their day. I watched some YouTube videos on how to put it on correctly.

It takes a little practice to get it in properly, but not too much. You have need to be careful taking it out so that you don’t pull your bio-hair out with it. My family didn’t realize I had it on until I pointed it out.

My hair is cut in a bob & is just slightly shorter than the topper. It’s always been fine and somewhat thin. getting thinner since menopause. But, I can get it to look pretty full. it just takes a considerable amount of time & effort.

Anyway, my family thinks the topper looks very natural. The back is just a little long for me; my bob is stacked in the back. The topper has some longer pieces that kind of flip out. I may wind up trimming that part a little.

I also trimmed the bangs slightly to blend in better with my own side-swept bangs. If I had not been buying it off of the closeout site, I would have gotten one of the shaded colors, but overall, I’m very happy with this topper.

I have since ordered the 8″ Easipart XL HD & am waiting for it to arrive.

I bought this topper because it was one of the few that come in black to match my hair. I have a Raquel Welch topper that is wonderful but I got it when my hair was strawberry blonde and so now it doesn’t work.

I wanted the same but it wasn’t available in black so I gave Jon Renau a try. It’s okay. It doesn’t sit on my head as naturally; there’s a tendency for it to create a “cone head” look if I don’t get it pushed down and clipped just right.

I don’t like the weird curve (not exactly a curl) that I can’t seem to get out with a flat iron even though it’s supposed to be heat-stylable. It also looks more synthetic – too shiny – compared the to RW topper.

All in all I’m not thrilled but at least it didn’t cost as much. I guess you really do get what you pay for. Next time I’ll probably bite the bullet and pay the exorbitant price for human hair.

This is the first hair piece of any kind I’ve ever purchased. I have thin and fine hair that is fairly healthy. I wanted to try a synthetic topper before committing to expensive real hair. I’m so disappointed in this topper: – Very clumpy.

Looks artificial Feels like straw out of the box – Claims to hold heated styles. I tried curling exactly as suggested and it remained straight. It did arrive quickly and well packaged. The part and the way it sits does look somewhat realistic.

That’s the only plus. I cannot believe I wasted $150 on something I won’t wear.

I have fine straight hair … the kind that goes flat in humidity and can’t hold any curl unless it’s very very dry out. This product was really disappointing. I bought another volumizing mousse from the same brand that worked much much better.

I’ve tried a little bit to a lot on my hair (as in saturated until my hair went from damp to wet) and really saw no difference.

I like all of my products-Flourish shampoo, conditioner, densifier, styler BUT one or all of the above has stripped the hair salon color from my hair. I will use until finished to see if any growth or strengthening occurs.

It could be the color products used by the salon. Has Flourish had this issue before? I will let you know results later.

I get this is a considered purchase due to it’s price point, but you won’t regret it. I have spent so much money trying to find a product that puts body in to my fine limp hair and this one actually does that.

The body lasts too, my hair doesn’t just go flat again within an hour or two. It does last as you don’t need to use loads. One for the favourites list.

I have used plastic clips before and they seem to tug annoyingly on my hair before the style falls out after a brief time of wearing it. This beautiful gold colored French twist clips has powerful, yet amazingly lightweight jaws that easily holds my thick hair for the whole day; great for such a quick, easy way to style my hair that gets plenty of compliments.

Bought for myself and loaned it to my daughter. Now I need another! Easily the best hair accessory I have ever purchased!.

This clips has great staying power and hold on my thin hair. I first used it for a half up look, and it surprisingly held true all day long. I have hair between a 3A – 3B. I even pulled some hair out of my clip to give the top of my hair more body and the clip didn’t slip at all.

Very impressed.

I like this product. I have 3a/3b hair. My hair line doesn’t consist of short baby hairs. So I need a strong pomade type hold to swoop my edges. The applicator has a lot of surface area so I get quite a bit of the product on my forehead where there is no hair.

On the other hand if I’m trying to smooth back my ponytail, this applicator is perfect for covering large areas. However I can easily use my finger or small edge brush to get some of the product off the stick.

The fragrance is strong. Sort of fruity. Not a bad scent, but I wish it was dialed back some. It clashes with my perfume. About a hour or so after applying my swooped edges have turned into loose slick fly-always that look greasy.

So unfortunately it doesn’t hold up. Not a bad product, but perhaps better for just smoothing out a ponytail.

A little goes a long way, so I recommend using a small amount and building it up if needed. I put the smoothing wax on my palms and then apply to my hair. I like this method over applying the stick directly to my hair because it gives me more control over how much product I am applying.

My hair is very thick, wavy and fine, so my hair can look very wild in it’s natural state. I typically use it to smooth my hair when I pull it back in a ponytail or bun and want to look polished. If I use too much wax, then my hair looks dirty, but when I use it sparingly, my hair looks beautiful.

This doesn’t make my hair hard or crunchy. The smell is kind of earthy to me, but the smell is ok.

I have tried numerous hair ties for my long, fine hair and I’m always disappointed. I looked at these several times before buying not wanting to spend more money for a product that doesn’t work and will go into the mound of other ties that don’t live up to their advertising.

I took a chance and WOW was I pleasantly surprised! At first I was not tightening them enough so I thought they were just okay but once I wrapped that extra one, no slippage whatsoever and my hair stayed all day long without a ton of hairspray or other products to add texture and I didn’t have to redo it.

AMAZING!! It’s the same great experience every day. I don’t say that lightly. I will not use another brand again. Worth every dime!.

These are so great. They do not pull while in your hair. They do not damage your hair. I liked them so well that I was handing individual ones out to coworkers and bought packs of them for family members.

I want to throw the other brands away.

I hate these things. It’s nothing but a cut up piece of stretchy nylon. They look like trash after one use. The thin elastic threads break immediately and stick out from the fabric. This is a product that should never have been put on the market.

I don’t know how Goody got their name but it should be because if you ask someone for a hair band and they hand you one of these you think “oh Goody, it’s a Goody” There are the few people in the world that genetically just have the perfect hair and can use any cheap product and their hair still looks gorgeous and perfect.

Then. there’s the rest of us. 95% of buyers Lol Goody’s hair elastics don’t break. They last so long they literally wear out you can repurpose in about 50 ways Great color choices made for different thicknesses.

Perfect amount of “slipperiness” to the band so it doesn’t catch on hair but also doesn’t slide out easily either. Stop wasting your money at the dollar store buying off brands where the hair tie breaks the first time you use it.

Goody never disappoints.

These Goody Ouchless hair ties (for medium hair) are affordable and work well in my thick hair. I’ve bought so many different kinds over the years, finally l’ve found some l will actually want to buy again.

You get 37 bands in the pack which to be honest l find is a strange amount. But regardless of that they are easy to use, twist fine and actually hold my hair place. They come is black, brown and mixed neon colours costing a little under $5 a pack.

I have bought these for many, many years and the ties used to last me 2 weeks on a single hair tie. Now they stretch out and break within the outer “sleeve” on the first use and you have to throw them away.

They have either obviously changed suppliers or now use a different material than they used to because they are horrible now.

Be warned these are Tint (somewhere between a nickle and a quuarter). Not necessarily a bad thing depending on style and thickness. Perfect for kids/ pig tails/ tying off braids and thin hair. I follow Curly girl method.

I have a lot of volume but thin hair. When I use the regular size I have to cool I 3x, which can make an updo really stick up. The twist are also very slim white I love. I wish these and the regular size would make babies.

These are perfect for pineapple-ing my hair & also pulling it in a pint without bulk. Dont have to wrap multiple times.

So cute!! Great quality. Strong! Great for thick hair- although if you want to pin up ALL of your thick long hair, it’s not the largest clip. Would buy again! Would make a great little gift 🙂

Adorable claw clips!! They did turn out smaller than I expected. It’s made of thick hard metal that could hold tons of hair though. So the material it’s made of out shines the smallness of it. And it’s super cute.

I did not like this shampoo/conditioner line at all. At $7 a bottle I expected better results. I have rather fine, color-treated hair that is always silky soft, and I can use most any shampoo to keep it that way, except this one.

This shampoo left my hair so blah. I couldn’t run my fingers through it after my shower, it felt dry and limp, and I did not care for the smell. It did not give my hair any volume. I wanted to try this for it’s healthier ingredients, but it did not deliver.

My hair is already very healthy and shiny, but now it’s no longer soft. I hope when I switch back to my regular shampoo I get the softness back. I will not be buying this again.

So I got the opportunity to try out this awesome conditioner from the brand Pantene. Of course first I had to check the scent of this Pantene Conditioner, and oh wow it’s a light but very beautiful scent! It’s kind of a little sweet, but also a little like a flower smell, I am not good at describing scents.

I also liked that this conditioner is silicone free, and this Pantene Conditioner also helps lightly nourish my hair to strengthen against regular damage as well as it protects my hairs natural fullness, and it helps give my hair volume and body, and this is definitely something my hair needs because normally my hair looks and feel so dull.

I have long hair, my hair goes down to right above the backs of my knees. Since I started using this Pantene Hair Volume Multiplier Featuring Bamboo Silicone Free Shampoo/Conditioner my hair looks and feels softer, it has my body and I am just loving the scent my hair has after washing my hair with these product.

Another thing I like about this product is I have/do wash my hair everyday, and I have had no scalp irritation whatsoever using this Pantene Hair Volume Multiplier Bamboo Silicone Free Shampoo/Conditioner! My hair is just looking/feeling better everyday since I started using these 2 products! I recommend this to people that like light scented shampoos/conditioners that will help nourish and strengthen you hair, and help give your hair some volume and body!.

I tried Pantene’s new nutrient blends hair volume multiplier conditioner. The product claims to boost body and volume in your hair and leave it feeling manageably air-light. It also claims that it’s silicone free, paraben free, dye free, and and mineral oil free, with a blend of pro vitamin B5, antioxidant, and bamboo.

The directions on the bottle say to “Massage into wet hair after shampooing, paying special attention to ends. Rinse thoroughly. ” These instructions puzzled me because every other conditioner I’ve used will instruct me to let the conditioner sit in my hair for a few minutes, to let the moisturizing ingredients soak deep into my hair.

This was my first time ever, not letting conditioner sit and soak into my hair, before rinsing. And very well could be one of the reasons why this product did not work for me. I was not impressed at all with the results I got from using this conditioner.

I didn’t see any difference in my hair’s volume. Rather, it made my hair look dry, dull, and flat. Usually when I use conditioner in my hair, I will notice an added softness to it, even after it’s dried.

However, this product did not do that for me. The only thing that I like about this conditioner is the scent. It smells wonderful, but don’t let that fool you. I believe this product could be great for those who only seek out natural and safe ingredients in products they use.

Unfortunately, if you’re looking for more volume in your hair, I would not recommend this conditioner. I am giving this product only 1 star because it did not satisfy my hair’s needs.

In addition to the sleek packaging, the product smells incredible – a sweet, slightly fruity scent with a hint of lemon at the end that lasts for hours. Since I’ve started using it, I’ve gotten a few compliments and even been asked what product I used.

Due to the concentrated nature of the Super Skinny Serum, I only use a couple of pumps on my long, thick hair. With Paul Mitchell products, a little goes a long way! Working from the ends to the roots, I apply it to damp hair.

In my experience, this product really smooths, controls frizz, and adds shine. My hair usually gets frizzy and flyaways after blow drying, but after using this product, I didn’t get either of those, and it helped reduce drying time.

As a result, I had silky smooth hair with an amazingly healthy shine, and my flyaways were tamed. It didn’t make my hair look heavy, oily or as if I used any products. After applying this to the hair and using a straightener or curler, the finish lasted longer – my hair stayed straighter for longer and my curls held longer as well.

To a great extent, this serum delivers. It’s a definite must-have for everyone as it really is that good! This stuff tames frizz and flyaways while adding shine. Your hair stays styled for longer and smells amazing!.

I’m generally pretty leary of serum type products because my hair is fairly fine/thin and products like this usually weigh it down and make it look like I need to wash my hair again. I was really nervous because it’s a bit thicker than other serum products I’ve used before that were too heavy, but somehow it doesn’t weigh my hair down or make it greasy.

It smooths the cuticle and makes it so silky. i thought it was only for blow-drying, but I applied it and let my naturally medium/fine, wavy hair air dry and it actually looked good! Normally, letting my hair air dry with my natural wave is NOT cute.

It’s just puffy and frizzy. This gives my waves defined shape and holds even when I brush thru it. I applied it lightly over my roots as well as I used it more often and it STILL didn’t grease my hair up, it’s crazy!! Wonderful all around smoothing product to use before blow-drying OR air-drying.

I’ve been so impressed with Paul Mitchell’s products. Oh, be SURE to use a clarifying shampoo (I use The Shampoo 2) periodically as the silicones will build up and can cause breakage/fallout if not cleaned off and conditioned.

This is a holy grail hair product of mine for (I believe) almost 20 yrs. A hairstylist randomly recommended it to me and I’ve been hooked ever since. Even when I was bald I kept some in my vanity for my bf and was so excited to have enough hair to need this again! First, the scent is nice.

Light but smells like the salon to me. Second, this thing keeps my flyaways down! That’s saying something too because my baby hairs and flyaways are a major problem, and this is the only product (other than a bed head product) that I’ve found that actually works.

I know it says to use on damp hair, and that works but I’ve found that it works best when used both on your hair when it’s damp (as instructed) but then again once it’s dry. Be very careful because you don’t want to put too much in the second time around and mess up your shampoo but if you use just a little and run your fingers through your hair, perfection! And as an added bonus this makes my hair so shiny, super sleek looking and glossy!.

I have never been able to use the item. The bun/chignon is too heavy for the tiny lobster clip. It has landed on the ground every time we have tried to get it to stay in the hair. It’s not holding up any of my hair, only its own weight.

And it’s not doing that. Don’t waste your money is trying to return it has been a nightmare! Pure nightmare.

I’ve always had long think hair and well. you hit an age where long hair just drags you down and actually makes you look older. So I took the plunge and cut it into a bob (just a smidgen above my shoulders)! I love it.

except that it really requires a bit of styling to look nice so I thought if I had a hairpiece, I could wear the same hairstyles I did with my long hair and I was notorious for this look. Now I can get up in the morning to run errands without pulling out the flatiron or curling iron.

Application is simple. I just pulled my hair into a ponytail and then bobby pinned the strays (sprayed a little hairspray) and attached the clip. Ez-peazy! I have used a teasing brush to make it more wild and I’ve also brushed it out for a more tame look.

Next, I’m going to twist and clip the ends down and in because it looks like it might make a nice bun too! As for the shine others have complained about. I’ve always been asked what I use to have such healthy shiny hair.

I love the shine because it matches my own hair! Also, I purchased the brown/red and I don’t think it’s THAT shiny at all. I was a little concerned that it would be drab in comparison to mine so this worked out for me.

If there is too much shine for you (because who wants healthy shiny hair hee hee hee!). spray a dry shampoo over it. will dull it right up for you (just be sure to hold the hair piece away from the product because essentially it’s a powder!)! All in all, great price for a great piece! What I love.

it’s a fast an easy way to look like you spent time on your hair when you didn’t. Great for running errands, a last minute lunch or dinner date. and OH! Vacations! More time exploring and less time styling! I don’t think the presentation video does it justice.

I wouldn’t hesitate to purchase one for a gal pal who is on the run and doesn’t want to always take the time to ‘do’ her ‘do’ and wants to skip the ball cap! Did I mention. I work at a popular salon and have received nothing but compliments on my hair when I wear it! When I say it’s just a hairpiece they can’t believe it!.

This little hairpiece is so comfortable. Allows me to easily style my bobbed hair into a nice formal chignon or full pony tail. Color R10 matches most of my hair color, which has buttered toast highlights.

They last a long time. Ordered another in buttered toast as replacement for one I had purchased 10 years ago.
