10 Best Unopened Baseball Card Boxes (2023 Updated)

Overall, this is an awesome product. My box included a Barry Bonds error card, Jose Canseco, and several other very good cards. Some of the cards did have some damage due to being in the box, but most are in great shape.

Highly recommend this product.

Package was mailed in a timely matter. The product was totally ruined. The cards were all stuck together and the gum was adhered to the cards as well. Do not buy.

The prices have gone way too high! I’ve been buying this product every year since the early ’90’s. now it’s become unaffordable for many. I understand product marketing, etc. , but the hobby has gone way beyond my wallet.

As far as this exact purchase. I don’t like that Veteran players are included in this set. And, that no prospects were included in the regular packs. Glad RC’s we’re in packs, & appreciated all prospects in the exclusive packs.

But, that’s how all packs of Bowman Chrome used to be. So, paying 5-10 more, & getting a bunch of $1 veterans doesn’t bode well with me. I’m out.

Packed poorly. No bubble wrap or any type protection. Just cardboard box. One corner was partially crushed but does not appear to be too bad. Will not open at this time so don’t really know?

I haven’t opened these as they are a present for my husband. However, the box was in a padded envelope and had no additional protection. One corner is completely crushed. I just hope the cards didn’t get damaged.

I just opened 2 blaster boxes in a row. I know obviously nothing is guaranteed by any means, but one would like maybe 1 decent card in 2 boxes! 14 Turkey Red and not a single rookie. 4 1985 and, yes, no rookies.

1 rainbow foil in the 2 boxes and not only not a rookie, but not a good player at all. The obligatory number of mediocre inserts and just 1 prospect card ( and, you guessed it, not a good one). No photo variations, no serial numbered cards, and every blue card pretty much sucked.

I guess if you don’t buy a larger format box you’re out of luck. I feel I like I completely wasted $45 dollars on the heels of feeling the same way after opening a Bowman Platinum box that, to put it kindly, sucked.

Based on the outrageous prices already seen for 2021 Series 1 boxes, this turned out to be a bargain especially at the offered quantify discount of 14. 99. I got some good inserts. Even though there aren’t too many rookies in the regular set, the inserts have some Luis Robert RCs and the 30 top prospects could be sought after rookies in the future.

My only complaint with this order was that this time it came through USPS instead of UPS. It basically sat at the Post Office for 3 days once getting to my zip code.

Overall a nice product. A variety of inserts and parallel,paralleled numbered cards but the insert packs have nice chance at bonus hits. It is a bit expensive given that you are not garenteed an autograph in each box and for a little more you can get a jumbo hobby box that garentees 1 auto 2 relic cards plus a huge amount t of difference in the amount of overall cards that can be found in a jumbo and in a large retail box which can get for cheaper and the odds are not that far behind on getting a good card.

This is a great product that allows you to possibly get some last minute rookie cards of the year. This particular box was awesome because it had several hits along with a gleyber Torres and Luis severino dual auto card patch.

Topps Heritage is one the best vintage looking sets out there, I try to put the set together every year! If you get lucky enough to get a Hot Box you get 12 purple inserts in a box (WOW) I think at the price point it is a bargain considering you also have a chance at an autograph or a relic card in every hobby box.

Also you have a chance for sp action cards or photo variation just a great set to build, and doesn’t cost you 100’s of dollars to complete.

When I was 9 years old I started collecting baseball cards and it was 1972. I remember opening my first pack of cards, purchased for 10 cents. So, this set is very special to me. I may decide to purchase a 2nd Hobby set.

This has by far the best value over any other format, do not listen to those that were just unlucky ( also neither the mega or blasters come with guranteed autos or mems). Bought two megas, first was a wander filled one, just luck, I hit a royal blue wander parallel along with a numbered Mitch Haniger out of /2022 ,two wander inserts and a base wander.

Second one was less thrilling, but still had a Wander Base Rookie, an Ohtani Insert out of /299 and a ssp Yadier Molina, all may not be amazing, but your chances of pulling ssp or a parallel is much better with a mega! Will definitely be picking up more for as long as they are here!.

First off, this Brand New Topps Blaster Box is Overpriced by 30% as usual. New Blaster Boxes are 19. 99 retail, and highly overproduced by Topps, they will be $18. to $20. in a matter of weeks, until the next Topps MLB Issue comes out and these are “old hat”.

buy them then, rather than OVERPAY NOW. By the way, all the Top MLB Stars like M. Trout, Ohtani, Tatis Jr. , Pete Alonso, Guerrero Jr. , Juan Soto, and the rest were all in Series 1, as well as was Wander Franco in Series 1.

so who is in Series 2 that it should cost so much?. Answer: Nobody. Buy at the Correct Price only, thanks.

There is very little in these packs that are of much interest. Topps is notorious at loading up their affordable packs with lots of commons and distractions that can be very irksome. If you want a chance at a autographed, short print or dazzling rookie card, you’ll need to spend lots of money.

On the lighter side if you just to buy this product because you’re hoping for the best or just want entertainment this item is alright.

The set appeared to be sealed properly but after I went through the set I found a large number of duplicates. I’ve seen a few people online who bought a set this year who have had similar results. So good luck in getting a complete set if you order.

I bought this as a Christmas present for my husband. He has not opened it yet so I really cannot review it yet. It came very quickly and is in great condition. More once he opens it and finds if there are any good cards.

The quality of the set gets better every year. The price remains reasonable considering the price of others is approaching $300. Seems the hobby is pricing the upcoming collectors out of the hobby. That is an issue that needs to be addressed.

Keep in mind that you are always going to have less numbered cards, parallels, and autos from Blaster, Hanger, Mega packs/boxes. Also, know that Panini does not have exclusive rights to MLB, so the players jerseys/hats do not have the team logos.

However, these are a great looking set of cards. There are some nice looking prizms. The comic card is a unique factor. There is 1 auto on average, which is great for this price point. If you’re a baseball fan.

you are likely to pull a number of your favorite players from the box. and not all base cards.

Fun cards to open but not a ton of value in them. The Pink Fireworks cards really pop. The autos seem to have soft corners so the few I’ve pulled aren’t mint. If you are looking for the thrill of opening these are worth the excitement but don’t expect high value cards.

I bought the item, it’s fine. Baseball cards in general have lost a lot of value over the years. Topps Heritage is a throwback to another time, bringing back old card styles with new age players. When you open a box and get a grand total of 3 to 5 bucks worth of cards and you paid 3x, 4x, and in some cases 5x that it leaves a bad taste.

Classic Topps cards with some nice parallels and inserts. The hobby version includes either an autographed card or a memorabilia card included. The price is very fair considering the rest of the sports cards out there.

Great product for those rekindling their love of baseball cards later in life.

I have been going into the store for almost 30 years now. It’s a very nice local card shop for me. They always have the supplies that I need and ownership is very accommodating and friendly. I recently learned they have a big internet presence.

I checked their site out and found that they had the best price on presales of 2020 Topps Heritage. I highly recommend getting all your boxes and cases through Diamond cards. And I plan on sharing them with my on-line trading group.
