We’ve been using this type of line trimmer head ever since they came out. What set these apart were the price! It was one of the best deals for a SF head in a while. So we bought five of them. If they’re still available get a couple of them while you can! And we received them as promised.

This is a great trimmer head, and it was easy to replace the crummy stock head on my DeWalt 60V trimmer – just spin off the stock head and spin on this new one, no adapters or other changes needed.

Excellent replacement for shindaiwa trimmers. These are very well made and designed heads that last for years and years, and are relatively inexpensive.

I hated the stock manual feed head on my expensive Honda string trimer. at $400. 00+ you think the that the string would work great. Heck no poorly engineered manual feed made me hate my machine. I was getting ready to sell it when I read about someone who felt the same way I did and after trying serval heads he use the Husqvarna T35 and it worked I was a little Leary.

But I bought it at Lowes and wow it fit with no modifications Husqvarna should put that on the package there is nothing about the Honda on the recommend types fits great and works better then the stock Honda Head now I love my Honda commercial string trimer.

Stud is too big to fit in the T230 gearbox hole & threads in trimmer are fine not corse too. So much for it being universal. I kept seeing this head advertised for Shindiawa T230 shopping online so I bought it.

Well thats wrong, It simply will not fit my Japanese T230/ aka: S230/EPA trimmer. I will be returning it and buying another brand head. I live 45min away and $4+ gal gas I am not happy.

The Husqvarna T35 trimmer head (not the cheap Chinese knock-off) is one of the best trimmer heads on the market. I’ve used all types of trimmer heads for my annual brush clearing work, and the T35 is my go-to choice.

The spools are easier to change out than virtually any other due to the eyelet design.

I hate bump spools on trimmers. I bought a new Stihl trimmer recently and wanted to move a similar product to the Grass Gator but the Stihl shaft wouldn’t accept it. I bought the Grass Gator after visiting their website.

They made note that Stihl trimmers require an adapter to accept the Grass Gator. I asked where to get one and they mailed me one that day at NO CHARGE. I got both items in a few days and have used it 3 or 4 times and the line that comes with it still looks brand new.

This is a good decision!!!.

Well I just got this and tried it last night and today. I did my whole yard and it was great not to have to bump every 2 minutes. It worked really well and all the lines are still there. They ate through everything.

I have a basic yard but I really needed something to get in cracks of brick paths that my wife and I have throughout the yard. I am very pleased with this purchase and the Walmart price was great. I used it on a Echo GT 2000 Trimmer.

Tries to be everything to everyone. The problem is that with adapters to make the item fit, it loses its performance edge. I tried to adapt to a Bolens BL50. This required inverting the supplied cup and shimming (though the bolt could have been ground down–I decided against it since I ended up returning it).

Before getting this, check to see what updates may be available for your machine. In my case, there was an update where it cost identical to the bump button I had intended on replacing to begin with at Lowes.

The trimmer head was damaged when it arrived. The edge had a cut on it, which didn’t inhibit the function of the line advancing off the reel. until the “bump” cap on the end of the head fell off and now it no longer works.

I expected more from Stihl.

This is a perfect replacement for Homelite weed eater as it was advertised. Works as well as original and simple to replace. After frustration from the heads bought at the big box places, this is a simple perfect replacement part that still works a year later.

This item fit my machine perfectly well. It works as nicely as the original part. It has been in service for over a year without issues.

ALMOST OEM. Seems to function well I haven’t had to put new string on it yet but it doesn’t appear to be the same as the OEM. Might be a good thing that it isn’t We’ll see.

Although this cuts as well as most replacement heads, there is some inherent problems. There is not base plate to help prevent it from digging into the dirt. You have to make sure you hold it perfectly or cut high and uneven to keep it from bouncing off of the ground leaving dirt ruts.

In high weeds or tall grass the cut stalks tend to wrap around the shaft causing it to slow down and get hot from trying to turn it while being restricted. It then becomes quite a task to remove the threaded tall blades and stalks from your shaft because it is a universal replacement and probably doesn’t exactly align with your trimmer or guards.

What I can say positive about this model is the relative ease of changing trimmer line. You cut off about 16″ of line, fold it in half and insert it into the trimmer head. But of course, since you are not a trimmer virtuoso extraordinaire the slots will be impacted with dirt from it bouncing off the yard.

It’s still a better design than most of the others. Another good thing I can mention is I am into my second year using this. It is beat up, worn down and should be replaced. but it’s still working. Hope this helps.

I bought this Weed Warrior EZ Lock Trimmer Head at my local WalMart store thinking it was worth a try to see if it is as good as the one I bought five yrs. ago. For my Echo I didn’t even need a tool to put it on.

I held the lower part of the shaft and turned the Weed Warrior EZ Lock Trimmer Head and it screwed onto the shaft and since there were two pieces of trimmer string already loaded into the trimmer head there was nothing left to do except start trying it out.

It works exceptionally well. These trimmer heads are so easy to load the string in, you simply fold the string in half push the looped end through the slot, do this on both sides and it is ready to use.

The part of the head that failed on my previous purchase was the metal mechanism that holds the string in place. So this time around I will use a lubricant on it to prevent it from freezing up ! I say BUY This and by no means be afraid of it ! It’s amazing and easy to use ! String size.

Bought Weed Warrior EZ Lock Trimmer Head a few months ago. Putting new strings on it is a breeze just fold them in half and push them in. It bolted right up to my curved shaft 25 cc Murray. I put funnel shaped black plastic thing wide side up.

It keeps most of the long grass/weeds away from the shaft. I am really hard on string trimmers (they may last 2 years) cleaning fence line/dew berry vines, so when I recommend this Trimmer head (Weed Warrior EZ Lock Trimmer Head) you know its good (worth the money).

You may need to cut the strings a little shorter or use thinner string instead of. 105 in and will need to rev a 25 cc Murray up before hitting the 2 or 3 ft tall weeds or you will plug it with long weeds wrapped around the shaft.

Sure beats wasting time rewinding string into those bump/tap cutter heads.

This spool has worked great. Been through several refills already and it is working like new now!

I really wanted to give this product five stars because I have loved using the product that I received. The reason I say that is because the picture you now see is of a three line which I thought I was getting and I order with my eyes by mistake.

When I got the two line that is in the title description I was surprised but I will say this about the sellers of this product were so awesome about the mix up. I have been waiting to review this product since summer hoping they would change the picture to the correct head but they have still not done this which is confusing to me because the two line head is good product so far.

I write this because I want to let you know that the two line you will receive is a good product and very easy to use. But the picture that is being used still at the moment is not the product described which might trip you up too.

Replaces spool line which always has issues. With this item you just put in 2 precut lines. Very simple and easy to use. Does a great job on any grass or weeds. Good value for the money.

First cpl Times I used it , worked fine. Next few times I used it the line kept flying out of it about 1 min into trimming weeds. I use. 095 gauge line so that should be big enough not to fly out. Will use a few more times until it does it again then Ill chunk in garbage and write it off as a bad decision to buy haha.

Good quality Makita strimmer head. Similar to the original, but for my RST210 machine this new head needed one of the adaptor nuts (supplied) screwed in to the mounting hole first. Some mechanical knowledge on how to remove old head from machine is helpful as it’s not obvious.

With the machine switched off – obviously – you need to unscrew the old head by locking the shaft using a nail or similar. Manufactures written fitting supplied with new head not great, so use common sense to work it out and it’s a 2 minute job, or less.

This is an excellent replacement trimmer head. Larger than the original and heavier too. Great quality and well constructed this is a top notch replacement trimmer head. Box came with all necessary asapters/reducers too!.

Works great on my Dolmar 246.4 c string trimmer. It’s a universal kit with a number of adapters, so will likely fit many other applications. I used the 1/2″-3/8″ reducer and it was simple.

I needed a replacement head for my 40v Kobalt trimmer. This looked to good to be true. I ordered it and it was easy to install. It works better than expected. I use my trimmer more and highly recommend this product.

It seems too heavy for my wacker. It also unscrews itself from the head attachment. Tried on a 2nd unit with similar results.

I bought this to replace the head provided with my $450 DeWalt 60V Max FlexVolt trimmer. The stock DeWalt head consistently feed excessive trimmer line, resulting in tangled mess whenever I tried to bump-feed.

I spent hours watching line-loading videos and trying every possible solution I could find, without luck. This head just works. One small complaint: The back of the package lists ‘DeWalt’ as a compatible brand.

The internal documentation does NOT list DeWalt to show which adapter should be used. After trying, the already installed GOLD adapter fits my DeWalt.

Swapped out the factory stihl head on my km131r trimmer and couldn’t be happier. No more annoying string changes. Just line up the arrows and insert your line. Works great with echo 0. 105 line as well.

Also drilled out the bottom below the spring and inserted a carriage bolt. Now I can tap on the concrete and not damage any of the plastic on the trimmer head.

The Echo 400 head was touted to be the best universal bump head of them all. It was an easy replacement for the Milwaukee 18-volt trimmer, no changing the bolt, spins right on to the Milwaukee with one spacer, took 20 seconds to change heads.

The stock Milwaukee bump head did not bump properly right from the beginning and it was a badly-designed head. DESIGN FLAW! So I ordered the Echo 400 head based on the glowing reviews. The Echo 400 head worked well until I tried to replace the.

095 line. The feed holes are barely over. 095, so I had to keep twisting the line as I fed it; so will only take certain lines, nothing sightly oval. DESIGN FLAW! Then I got the brand new Milwaukee Easy Load bump head, which is designed just like the Echo 400, but the string holes are much larger, and was so much easier to load new string than the Echo.

The holes are so big, I’m wondering if it would even take the next bigger. 105 line? So it looks like Echo just got bumped from first place, though you still might have to order the Echo 400 head to get all the adapter parts for your particular trimmer.

So I think Milwaukee scored again. The Milwaukee 18 volt trimmer is marvelous, light weight and perfectly balanced with the motor at the top. It is more powerful AT LOW SPEED than my Honda brush cutter.

The two speed switch is great. In 6 months the new easy load head will probably come stock on the Milwaukee 18 volt trimmer, maybe even with the 12-amp battery. Thanks to all the reviewers. I’m giving back on this one.

Worked good on my Stihl FS-90 with the green adapter screw. However the white reel hub – (there are 2 colors 1 white and 1 being black) the white one shipped with this kit. I had the black one from a different head to compare.

The white one is really tight and kind of binds when you try to turn the head by hand and the black one does not but they both work. I figure with time it will loosen up. I would buy again it again if needed and it saves me a lot of time, very easy to load string in.

The cover looks a bit flimsy, which perhaps explains why they need to be replaced from time to time, but other than that it feeds well when you bump it and the cord never broke in over two hours of very heavy work.

I think the cord wound on the spool when it arrived was Viper brand. The head fitted straight onto my DeWalt trimmer with no modifications required. Makes the DeWalt spool seem like a bad dream. By comparson DeWalt spool is cheap and pathetic.

Cannot say enough about this product. Have been using them for years with another brand machine on heavy brushcutting. They give me hours of heavy brushcutting time without annoying snags. I have found the line loading mechanism to be difficult with a heavy line so tend to wind it directly on to the reel and then insert it into the head cover.

The plastic spacer provided is too thick to allow the head to screw on to the shaft of the Echo. Assembly without the spacer causes the head to make contact with the plastic frame. Operating without spacer installed could burn out the trimmer.

Discarded spacer and used several flat washers instead and head now screws on and works correctly, Quick fix if you realize the problem and have a selection of washers available, real problem if not.

Good product otherwise.

I purchased this as a replacement for my echo trimmer. All though they look the same as a genuine echo looks can be deceiving. This is a complete waste of money. I purchased 2. First one broke a clip off and wouldnt stay together and both of them fed line prematurely at a wasting rate.

Spend the extra few dollars and buy an original at Home Depot. A lot less aggravating and the original performs 100 times better!!!.

These are not OEM Echo Speed-Feed heads – they are generic. I haven’t had the OEM Echo ones but these work fine for me. They are not as big as the ones I had before on my Red Max trimmers so they don’t hold as much line but I just carry some more with me in my pocket.

It’s super easy to load the line. It’s smaller in diameter than the heads I used to use so I can get it in smaller places to weed-eat and I like the way they feel when in use. I originally bought one to try out, then bought more to replace all my heads with.

I’ve only had these for about two weeks and use them commercially for lawn care. I love how easy it is to load and I don’t intend to ever use any other heads now that I’ve found these. Highly recommend.

I have an echo srm-225 trimmer. I thought I would save a few extra dollars by buying the aftermarket stringer heads. It is not worth the hassle. The the string would jam up and would come apart. The quality is substandard.

This original oem head works flawlessly. recommended.

This item does not fit my echo GT2400. This item has a 3/8-11 USC thread and my echo GT-2400 has a 3/8-16 USF thread. MY trimmer also rotates clockwise and this head winds for a CCW rotation. Should have ordered P/N 99944200907 as it is the universal head that comes with 5 bushings, 3 studs and RH core that it makes it fit the other models.

P/N 99944200908 does not include the mounting kit and only fits trimmers that have previously been fitted and can reuse the needed old parts to adapt it! don’t waste your money if you are not sure it fits.

The speed-Feed spool was purchased to replace the head of an Echo trimmer that I was forever replacing the single two lines on. When purchased I was afraid it would not bolt on properly; however, it came with everything necessary to install it.

I removed the old head and installed the new one in less than 5 minutes. It works great with the line provided; however, it is possible to install a larger diameter next re-wind which will be so easy with the spool winding system.

The unit is well constructed and easy to operate.

I have the Echo gt225 with stock manual feed string. It was always a pain in the butt when I hit something that chewed the string. I’d have to stop, turn it on its side, manually insert the pieces of string.

Then, the camber style lock teeth wouldn’t hold the string. I’d wind up the throttle and zing, it would go flying. The new bump feed works great and load pretty easy. Just line the holes up, feed the string through both sides of head, twist, pesto.

Literally takes about 30 seconds (half bring measuring and cutting length of string). Highly Recommended over manual stock OEM head.

This is a simple, standard universal, trimmer string head assembly only. My Troy Bilt trimmer model came with a trimmer head that the lower part of the assembly is swappable with the aero-flex blades, which is what I was looking for.

I was able to get a new trimmer head because they don’t sell just the eyelets. It was exactly what I needed and it was an easy repair. The new head seems to be even better than original.

Perfect replacement part. Design of this part is bad, but the replacement does exactly what it is supposed to do.

Have tried various strimmer heads but cheap plastic ones are useless. The Oregon is much more robust. The plastic drum is heavy duty and the alloy centre can withstand bumps to lengthen the cord. the quick load system where you thread the cord through, then just wind it in is much better than the usual dismantling the spool and trying to wind on the cord especially in the field.

like all things if the tool is really good the chances are they will stop making them so I’m going to buy another one as a spare.

Great design , product works fantastically. However used for ten minutes (first use) ; bits of the brittle plastic head snapped off. Manufacturer needs to use a less brittle plastic to make this product.

No fitting kit was included to fit the strimmer to my Makita brushcutter machine. Therefore, this strimmer proved to be useless. What a waste of money!
