20 Best Underwear To Hide Pooch (2023 Updated)

I am 5’7 in height 90KG and purchased an L size for my first try. The product fits perfectly considering I have gained a belly and wear L sized clothing now. Product does not forcefully push the belly in but smoothens it so that I can fit into my M sized clothing.

Product is comfortable to wear and can go about my daily routine without restriction throught the day, in conjuction with working out and a balanced diet I hope to purchase an M sized Leo to fully feel the effects of this product.

best shapewear I had. My problem is with the lower stomach as I was 40 Kilos heavier than today, and this left some loose skins there. I’ve been working out and have some shoulders to show and this bothered me.

So, this one is a perfect solution! it fits tightly, does its job, does not fold and does not show under a T. frankly, one of the best purchases I’ve ever made.

I love high cut legs with a high waist. As a woman of a certain age, the cuts I wore when I was younger just arent flattering anymore! These checked all the boxes but the fit seems a little off. I do not have wide hips or large thighs, but the leg holes, combined with a poorly placed seam, leave these uncomfortable at the bend of my leg.

There’s a seam that ends that has a slight bulge that presses into the soft spot below my hip bone and and feels very uncomfortable. I hoped it was just an odd defect but all 3 pairs felt the same The fit is otherwise pretty good.

The height of the waistband is right at the belly button. The material is very nice, soft and silky! I prefer neutral colors or black, but the pink was a nice deep pink, not pale or hot pink like you typically find.

Overall, these arent a high enough cut for me, but I love them aside from that!.

I am loving these to wear under dresses. They go up high enough that there is no dig in at the hips. Plus, they offer a little tummy smoothing as well, not like full on shapewear but I feel like a lot of times shapewear just squeezes and creates lumps at the top and bottom and something subtler is preferred.

I think they are sexier than a lot of high rise underwear and shapewear out there. The lace is like a cool animal print. I like the colors available. The fabric and design feels like a more high end brand.

So far these have washed well. Normally I buy a medium but I am a newly pregnant, so I got the large and they fit well. I am 5 feet 4 inches and 160 pounds right now for reference.

I have tried tummy smoothing underwear in the past with success. Unfortunately, these are not comfortable at all. While they fit my butt, they are tight everywhere else. In the crease of my thigh and around my waist.

They pinch and hurt. The waist, while it doesn’t roll down like other tummy smothers can, they slide down and dig in. I think these would be more suited for anyone that does not have any kind of tummy pouch, because they did not work for me.

I went home at lunch and changed.

I was so disappointed when I didn’t receive the 4 pack seamless shapewear brief pack. Instead, I was sent 4 individual packs of briefs with the 2 black being Gloria Vanderbuilt briefs. I was not notified of the substitution either.

I will no longer purchase anything from this company!!! Poor business practice!!.

I got these in black and just tried them on. They smooth and secure the tummy area well. I think at least one other reviewer mentioned that the top band may roll a bit. What I don’t understand is the Gloria Vanderbilt label.

I have ruined almost every single pair of regular underwear I know with period stains until I found these amazing period undies! They are super comfy/stretchy, seamless, and THIN! Feels just like my regular underwear, but now I don’t run the risk of staining them when on my period.

I followed size chart, size 8-10 for Medium, but it is much too small at waist. Creates a big bulge at waist and rolls down. Thighs and hips fit well, however. Unusable and I can’t get a refund for this.

Not likely to buy thru Victoria’s Secret anymore. Just purchase Spanx which is a much better fitting brand and their special knit contours to any body shape.

This item is made with great quality, and is very slimming. It keeps everything in place. I normally wear a large, but decided to get an extra large to give myself some wiggle room. The extra large was still very tight on me, and this item doesn’t come in an XXL either.

This shapewear would be perfect if it was a little more true-to-fit. Overall, I am very satisfied.

I was expecting to get more of a workout style short, like biker shorts. These are almost like compression shorts make to go under an outfit on the inside they have all the extra rubbery stuff to help hold them up and they are super tight.

I’m normally a medium and these were cutting into my thighs and rolling at the belly line so definitely size up. These are NOT workout shorts, just saying.

These are the most comfortable underwear I have worn . I wear them mostly with my weekend gear. I ordered two more once I wore them.

These Warners Tummy Smoothing brief are soft and stretchy. I wouldn’t really say it’s tummy smoothing, but it does even out the body because it’s highwaist and soft so there’s no multiples line showing when wear tights.

There’s also no underwear lines when were tights. Because they’re stretchy I find these ‘moves’ when I move. Normal walking they’re great and no scrunching up, but when I started bending down to pick up things, the edge will scrunch in, for me I can feel it and have to fix it.

Not so great when out in public and the urge to fix the undie is constantly on my mind. Some might find it normal and ok with, but for me these lost a point because of that. Overall, it’s very comfortable and soft with good coverage.

Washed and dried in the machine very well.

I absolutely love these! I’ve always been a fan of Warner undies from the Muffin Top line and was so excited to find these sand try them. They are controlling in the stomach area without being constricting, you can still breathe in them and move/bend over but they do give a smoothing effect.

They are perfect for wearing a dress because you don’t see “panty lines”. They are much easier to wear then Spanx but give a similar smoothing effect. They are breathable so you don’t sweat profusely or overheat when wearing.

They wash well with no snags, no stretching out etc. Very well made, highly recommended.

The Warner’s tummy smoothing underwear were more so basic underwear. Pros: •The fabric is smooth, thin and cool. •The high cut waist helps tuck in any tummy pooch. Cons: •If you have athletic legs, the leg holes are not very comfortable.

•They didn’t really smooth my tummy, but rather just tucked it into the underwear. Therefore, a little lump remained below the elastic waist. Overall, they are fine if you’re looking for basic underwear, but if you’re really trying to smooth your figure, you may need to look elsewhere.

This is my first time using pouch-style underwear. usually, I’m okay using any of the “sport” related products Jockey offers when working out, but decided to give these a go as they’re supposed to be “Chafe Proof.

” For me, three things are important: 1). Waistband needs to stay put: this particular product, waistband DOES stay put, no rolling, bunching, or shifting around 2). Legs need to stay put: I hate “scrunching” and “bunching,” like most Jockey products, the legs stay put throughout my workouts.

3). Moisture-wicking: nothing feels worse than soggy or sweat-soaked underwear, I tossed cotton underwear years ago. I like the majority of Jockey’s sports-themed underwear because they definitely stay dry even during intense workouts.

Okay, so. “chafe proof,” as I mentioned, this is the first time I’ve tried pouch-style underwear, when I first started seeing them, I wondered if it was a gimmick. Most sports underwear tend to support where needed, BUT.

from time to time, I do experience chafing, I cycle anywhere from 100-150 miles a week, and though I wear cycling shorts, sometimes I’ll wear regular athletic shorts with underwear; also, I like the ellipticals at the gym, so both these activities require a high RPM, and my balls sometimes end up a little red-rashed from the friction.

I decided to try these out at the gym on an elliptical, and I have to admit, the pouch kept my balls snug and separate from my legs. Overall, I didn’t find it to be too tight or too restricting, they’re actually pretty comfortable, (I thought having a pouch would “squish” everything, that’s why I avoided pouch underwear in the past).

So, if you need underwear for working out, or general everyday wear, these are great!.

I wore the product for the first time today, having run it through the laundry yesterday. I was wearing Jockey nylon boxers more than forty years ago and enjoyed them then. That this product is a polyester/spandex blend was not a big conversion stretch, although these days I primarily wear Jockey cotton pouch briefs for the sake of their support.

This product provides that same quality. It is 89 degrees here today and I have been outside, I have no feeling of dampness in that area. These shorts are comfortable, though a bit of a fit problem. I’m an xl and the product was only available up to a l, I requested them anyway.

When the product arrived in the mail, it was on a hanger with point of sales tags attached. I read the tags to find that the polyester was produced from recycled plastic bottles. I’m not a major green, but it pleased me that the sourcing for the material provided an ecological improvement.

I can heartily recommend this product. It washed well, feels good and lives up to its claims.

I have been looking for long boxer briefs for a couple of years. I current wear Rapid Cool Long Boxers. I have very little complaints about them, except after several hours of wear, they have a tendency to pull away from my groin fold.

They do keep the heat build up down as cool as possible. These new Chafe Proof Pouch Micro Long Leg Boxer Briefs stayed in place even when extended wear for a couple days. They are light and very breathable with the venting along the groin fold.

I really believe they are one of the most comfortable underwear that I have ever worn. They are true to fit size. I have a 36 “ waist and tried the Large size (36-38). When washing them, they maintained the size without shrinking or stretching.

The pouch is very different than any underwear that I have ever seen. There is a very thin extremely soft liner that I originally thought would hold heat in, but it remained cool the entire time wearing them.

This was a terrible and expensive waste of money (I bought the 2 pack) as they are completely useless. Now I’m stuck eating the $80, since they aren’t returnable, which I guess I should I have realized.

I tried on one of the 2 exactly one time (with regular underwear underneath, so that I would be able to return if needed – obviously unnecessary). The thigh openings were far too small for any normal human to wear for any length of time, while the abdomen was so large that there was not a shred of compression.

Basically a complete and total waste of money. Do NOT buy unless you have chicken legs. And be aware that they CANNOT BE RETURNED!!.

The quality is great and these were nice – to have but not for the price. My csection (2nd cut) ran a bit longer than the silicone and while it was nice to have the compression, I was fortunate enough to have a hospital that gave me a compression wrap and extra underwear.

I also had cotton high rise underwear that were fine after the first 1. 5 weeks to wear. I bought these thinking they would help with getting my organs back in place because of the compression and I would hand wash to keep them in rotation but that didn’t happen and the other items I mentioned worked just as great.

It was nice to take a break from high rise underwear and where these lower cut ones but again, for the price- just not a necessity. While you can choose to just wear these as underwear after your csection heals, if they no longer fit you can’t donate underwear so in the long run it’s kind of a waste from an environmental perspective.

I have to give the c-panty 4 stars. The first week I wore them, I had to wear a panty liner or pad near the silicone just to protect my incision as the directions recommend. Once I got to a week and 2 days post par, I removed the pad/liner.

This provides just the right amount of compression to hold the tummy, while not putting to much pressure on the incision. I actually bought another postpartum compression garment off Amazon and that garment FAILED in comparison to Upspring’s c-panty.

It’s aiding me to heal much quicker and my tummy is going down quickly as well and I’m only 2 weeks postpar! This product is especially for women who have had a c-section. Love the c-panty, worth every penny and i will be buying another! Lol.

I have been looking for this girdle for a long time. My problem is finding the right size. My first order was for 2 size 6X which provided medium control for me. So, I ordered one 5X and found more control but still not what I was looking for.

I decided that the 4X would probably be the size. So, I ordered two in size 4X–Perfect, LOVE the fit and control. You may ask, “Why not send the others back?” No way! Different size options for different occasions.

I have a range of sizes to choose from–nice. I wear a girdle under EVERYTHING I wear! I love the “bling” that I have ordered (stretch rings and bracelets) from AmeriMark. I have fat fingers and wish the stretch rings came a little larger.

I am a slender woman with a definite “mommy pooch” after birthing 3 kids. Other expensive shapewear I’ve tried didn’t suck in that tummy the way I wanted. I got this for an upcoming family wedding I’ll be attending and it provides that extra firm tummy control I was looking for.

Not easy to wriggle into, but once it’s on, it’s decently comfortable (for shapewear. this is special occasion wear for me not something I’d want to wear frequently). I ordered my normal size (small).

I am a 2x (18/20) in most clothing brands and in all my shape wear. I decided to purchase a 3x in this item just in case it ran small. Unfortunately, this shape wear in particular runs very small. I cannot get this item past my hips.

Although the material is of good quality and I know it would have been great if it fit, it doesn’t fit by at least 5 inches around my hips, and waist. That is truly disappointing. I highly recommend measuring yourself and looking at the sizing guide to purchase the correct size so you’re not disappointed.

This is possibly THE most comfortable firm control brief I’ve ever tried, over my 40+ years of daily wearing this type of thing. I’d say it is regular-firm rather than extra-firm, and there is absolutely no pinching or binding, but a smooth comfortable control that is actually a pleasure to wear.

It really gives me a lot of confidence and I can wear this particular model all day every day. I’m in between sizes, so have several in 2XL from this the “normal” size range, and a1x from the “plus size” range of the same brief (in theory, a 3xl – yes, Miraclesuit’s plus-sizing IS confusing!) I’d say they are absolutely true to size, but being especially flexible in sizing, there is no loss of control for me if I wear either size.

I used to order a size down to get a bit more oomph from my shapewear, but no need with this style. The fabric is very smooth and tactile and makes clothes glide on top of them. Feels like a second skin. Fit’s right around package lifting upwards and outwards. The internal string helps to lift even more but the material is so soft that the string isn’t critical for the effect.

The package jiggles from side to side as you walk. Perfect for swimming as it gives real freedom of movement way better than shorts. The best bit is the rear which gives a glimpse of the cheeks but not too much so as to appear thong-like.

Cup holds you well when you are soft but does not allow for the spontaneous or intentional erections. This thong does not work well for sexual activities unless you remove it as soon as you get hard.

Bought two of these by mistake, thinking that the JS thong I already had was a Rio. I was wrong, and I’m well endowed, and at first try the Rio seemed uselessly tiny. But I decided to try it on a second time, and took an extra moment to arrange myself in it.

Im really impressed with this shaper. Im in my late 40s with 2 kids – so obviously Ive bought a lot of shape wear throughout the years. and there has always been something wrong with them, some were too big, some were too long, some rolled down.

This is a new type of shape wear, you can tell they actually put some thought into how bodies are shaped and how bodies move. it does look a little “patchy” but this is actually good. I ve had the ones that look like biker shorts and they are always uncomfortable and roll down after a while.

This is actually shaped like a woman, the middle part is cinched, the bottom part is wider to accommodate the hips and movement when you walk. One of the best thing about this – is the no-show panty.

you can’t see nay lines – woohoo! and there is a boning all around so it stays up. the price isn’t cheap but this is definetly something you guys should try out. The SuperPower shorts worked wonderfully under my fitted, mother of the bride, dress. They helped me feel really confident. They were flexible and comfortable for an all day event from morning until after midnight.

I ordered the recommended size, 1x, and one size down, XL. For the wedding, I wore the XL. I kept the larger size for looser garments. Both work wonderfully for me. I have worn other shapewear with a gusset and this one is the best!!! I am 5’7”, 220 lb, usually a size 16 pear shape, and have developed a belly.

In photos, you see me in the unaltered dress (a bit too tight, needing to be let out) with no shapewear, then dress let out with different brand of shapewear, then with Honeylove power shorts on wedding day.

Honeylove helped my belly button not show. Because my dress was so fitted and a crepe fabric, I actually also wore additional lighter weight, footless, support stockings (Spanx brand) underneath the SuperPower shorts to help smooth the cellulite on my lower thighs and hide my belly button.

I really wanted to like these. They seem to be good quality, and the fabric is quite soft. However, there is something awkward with how they fit, as they constantly shift down on my back side, even with relatively subtle movements on my part.

It gets annoying having to constantly readjust them. Never had this issue with a pair of boxer briefs before.

I was worried about sizing but turned out great. Material is nice and yes you can remove the tags without tearing up the boxers themselves. Shipping was as expected. No issues. Thank you 511 for great products and service again.

The 5. 11 Mission Control Briefs run true to size, are comfortable and look nice. The fit is just right, not too tight, not too loose. They are very thin, so I don’t know about the longevity, but it’s 5.

11, so I suspect they will last.

I tried these vanishing tummy modern brief underwear and have to say that they are not that comfortable. The stay put silicone at the lake openings are sticky and hard to get into the perfect place. The top of the panty hits just below my belly button and even though I am slender with very little tummy, The top edge still rolls down when I bend over.

The only reason I tried these briefs was because my favorite panties, the travelers high leg brief, that I had been buying for years from Soma have changed. I loved the fit and feel of the travelers high leg brief because they would slip on so easily and never ride up or move around and the double welted waistband stayed perfectly in place just below my belly button and actually made my tummy look flatter.

Now they are tight and small and more like a bikini riding very low under my tummy and actually making my tummy look bigger than it really is. So disappointed that the travelers high leg brief has been ruined.

I had been wearing those briefs for 10 years and now I cannot find anything as good or as comfortable as that panty. !!! As far as the vanishing tummy brief that I just purchased, I will not be buying any more of these because they just do not feel comfortable!.

TTS (I wear a medium or a large and either fit, size up is my suggestion if you are between sizes like I am)) Perfect material No panty lines (front or back) AND there IS a cotton-like lining that runs the width of the crotch! The crotch lining (or lack thereof) is one detail that is NEVER described unless I happen to use the right search term and find a review from another detail-oriented customer! This seems like a mammoth oversight for an “intimates” company.

SOMA describes literally everything else —- this is a MAJOR FLAW and MAJOR OMISSION. Is there a lining in the crotch? If so, does it run the width of the panty? The length of the panty? What material(s) is the liner? This takes one sentence for example (for these panties): Full width and length lightweight, cotton-like lining the crotch of the panty (or panty liner).

I purchased three more pair, unfortunately for me, this style must be popular because additional colors were sold out. The fit is comfortable and depending upon your torso the waist band fits comfortably on or slightly under the navel.

Lace pattern is beautiful and no revealing panty line. The lace on the outside and cotton blend on the inside on the rear strip fits comfortable between your cheeks and is about one inch wide. The inside crotch area is made of a cotton blend and gives you adequate coverage.

My holy grail undies were discontinued a few years ago (different brand), and I’ve been looking for a replacement since then. I have tried a bazillion different kinds but didn’t like any of them until these.

I want plain cotton undies that are full coverage, don’t roll up the butt or down in the waist, and are high waisted but not over my belly button. These are perfect! I am a size 29/8 (41-29-42) and according to the size chart should get a M.

I ordered a M initially, and while they were comfortable, the butt was slightly loose. If I wore tight pants of any kind the undies would roll up when I pulled up my pants, and create a very thick and obvious panty line.

I sized down to a S and they are perfect. No rolling and they are not too tight anywhere. (I wear a M in the fits everybody boyshort, these seem to run bigger than those. ) They wash really well and seem like they will last a long time.

I have already ordered a dozen pairs and plan to order more, so that all my undies are Skims. I highly recommend to anyone wanting full coverage undies!.

I have a true dislike for full butt underwear. I always feel like I have VPL and they never stay put – they’re always halfway down my butt if I take more than 3 steps. And trust, I’ve tried nearly every cut, style, brand, and fabric of underwear.

I already love the Fits Everybody thongs, so I thought I’d try the high waisted thong. And it’s great! I love this mostly for underneath summer dresses. Because it’s high-waisted, it helps smooth out any little ripples and bumps you may have between your hip and bellybutton, but it doesn’t have any compression so you don’t feel stuffed into shapewear.

The fabric is so stretchy and breathable, I can see myself wearing these all summer long and not getting swamp butt. But, don’t wear them under leggings because they will bunch up on the sides and you will be sad.

Everything about these is great except for the size. I got the high waisted sleep underwear set for my first ever Skims purchase and loved everything about the way they fit. 40 and post kids it’s hard to be comfortable and feel like underwear are attractive on me but these did the trick.

That led me to purchasing this set. I bought a size small in the other sleep set, per the size guide, and it fit perfect so I got a size small in these underwear. The fit is not good because it has a slightly tight elastic waistband that cuts into my post baby mom stomach and makes me look super frumpy/5-10 lbs heavier than I am.

I wish I would have tried them on before I took the tags off because I would have returned them and got a medium. So long story short, even if their other underwear fit you in a small, size up for these to avoid the accentuation of the gut…if you got a perfect body and are 20 then you are probably ok to wear what the size guide recommends.

I am so happy with my new panties! They are snug and comfy! They look nice on me and feel great! Nice and smooth feel to them! Leonisa always has nice panties! One of my favorite brands! These panties are for guys too! Guys should buy a few pairs or more.

I wore these panties under my gym clothes.. Very good feel and support. I am pretty new to panties and these are a great find. More guys would be won over if they could slip.into a pair.
