20 Best Underwear For Yeast Infections (2023 Updated)

I bought two heavies hi-waist, 1 hiphugger, and 1 air hiphugger as my first set to try Thinx. I heard some rave reviews from a friend who has been using them more so decided to give them a try. In terms of sizing, I found that the hi-waist ones such as this style are a bit small for me, in particular – a bit uncomfortable at the seams.

I have always worn XS for Victoria Secret/Aerie, etc. for reference. This is no biggie since they let you exchange sizes pretty easily, but just want to point out – if you’re on your period you usually don’t want such a tight and uncomfortable fit.

When actually using these – I found the air hiphugger to be good for day 0. In terms of leaks – I actually got a leak the first day of trying these hi-waist ones for period day 1. The leaks came through the sides rather than top/bottom.

My day 1 was heavier (clots) than expected. I ended up not really wearing these until day 3 since I didn’t want a public disaster. I think in general Thinx is good for the moderate or lighter days, but I’d avoid using them on the heavy days because of this experience.

In terms of cleaning – I feel like throwing in the wash isn’t thorough enough. You definitely need to do some hand wash / spot cleaning first. From price perspective, these are very expensive for what they are.

There’s a few other companies doing period underwear now so I hope the price goes down eventually. Since customer service is great though, I was able to get some replacement items due to size change which I appreciate.

I’ve used a thong from Thinx brand for over a year, and after trying all sorts of underweares of other brands or other methods to manage my periods, I can say that beside Thinx, I was nerver truly satisfied with the comfort or with how well protected I was.

I even feed embarrassed most of the time by some methods which are thick. So I recently bought other Thinx underwears: Cotton Brief, Cotton Thong (both super soft and comfy), other Thong, Super Hiphugger and Boyshort (for the night especially).

Yep, I’m full equiped! No regrets: thongs are great for light / moderate days, briefs, hiphuggers and shorts are awesome for up to havy days or just wearing at night. All of them are the right size (I was between S and M, and chose S, and it fits perfectly, all of them).

They are all comfortable (no irritation, no feeling thick and embarrassing between legs) and actually sexy and good looking! I never had any mess or overflow with any of them. Colors are as per pictures.

Material is high quality, even the lace style material for the Thong is higly durable: my first Thong is still impeccable, you can barely differenciate it from the new ones I’ve just bought even after many cleanings.

The only thing is I don’t put them in the drying machine. So. that’s it, I rarely take the time to comment on all products I buy online ’cause you know. it would take me so much time. but for once I’ve find a product I’m truly satified with so I thought my comment might help other girls making the right choice.

The only thing my Thinx underweares don’t do, is removing my cramps! Ha ha!.

If I could give this product 0, I would. The advertising for these panties is profound, blunt lies. It’s like the developers either didn’t test their product or simply lie to our faces about its qualities.

A friend of mine gave me one pair of panties – the Sports model, and I decided to test it on my first day of my cycle which is mostly moderate. Wow, what a horror I experienced the first few hours! I didn’t feel any discomfort when I was sitting down, but when I got up – oh boy, I could feel the discharge flowing down my legs underneath my pants.

When I checked it in the bathroom – the blood was everywhere, down my legs, on my pants and inside and outside of these not so much leak-proof not-absorbent-at-all fancy panties. Normally on my first day I use one super tampon for about 4-6 hours, or a regular one every 4-5 hours.

This model is supposed to hold “up to 3 regular tampons” – it doesn’t hold s**t, excuse my French. The fabric is not absorbent at all on the inside, and it goes through the supposedly leak-proof layer onto the outside layer! Stains all over the in-between area, both on the panties and on my pants (thank god they are dark blue).

I had to literally squeeze the blood out with toilet paper to make it bearable to wear till the end of the day (of course I didn’t think to bring a spare pair of panties because I had these!). And because I had to be outside most afternoon – I am an actress – it felt wet and COLD! And bulky, and overall so horribly uncomfortable.

It’s like wearing shoes full of water, but between your legs. Total lies about qualities of this product, can’t believe how misadvertised it is. Will go back to using my favorite Tampax with clean consciousness.

I purchased a set of 6 super absorbency cotton boyshorts based on the claim that it holds up to 2. 5 regular pads’ worth of blood, as well as the claim that Thinx are a “complete replacement” for pads and tampons.

I tested out a pair on the 2nd day of my period (my heaviest day), when I will typically go through 2-3 overnight pads. I expected the boyshort to last me most or all of the day, but after only 3 hours of sitting stationary at a desk I found it had leaked around the sides of the gusset and down the legs.

I am glad I did not attempt to test it out overnight. As far as fit goes, I did find that the legs of the boyshort tended to ride up / bunch up toward the crotch, but this was a mild inconvenience I would have been willing to overlook if the product had otherwise lived up to my expectations.

I expect the boyshort would work perfectly well for spotting, for a lighter cycle, or in combination with a tampon / menstrual cup, but unfortunately for my purposes it fell far short of being a “complete replacement” for other period products as advertised.

I successfully obtained a refund through the “returns” portal; however, despite stating on both the returns page and the FAQ page that Thinx would provide a prepaid return label, this appears to not be the case.

Both the automated confirmation emails and the customer service response to my specific inquiry simply reminded me “You do NOT need to mail back your items!” which I am forced to interpret as: I cannot mail them back even though I want to.

They instead suggested that I donate my unworn pairs to a friend in need or a women’s shelter. Overall while I admire Thinx’s mission to provide comfortable, sustainable, and environmentally conscious period products, I found that the cotton boyshort did not live up to its claims.

Additionally I think Thinx needs to revise its misleading and contradictory so-called “return” policy, as the current policy as outlined on their own website as of this review does not reflect reality.

It is fantastic to have products out there now that are finally addressing core experiences for women’s health & wellness, that also take into consideration sustainability for our planet. This gets 6 stars, no question.

However, it is disappointing how the accessibility across the multitude of demographics women make up is not as sustainable as the product itself. While I have no idea the cost to create, I am curious about the MSRP.

We all know women inherently deal with a wage gap, and how products for women are marketed to ensure we work hard for the money… For me, this truly highlights the questionable use of the marketing campaign/con that promotes Thinx.

Perhaps reconsider the expense for a Social Media campaign that promotes a 1/2 off price tag, while alluding to a sense that this company is going out of business anytime soon, or that this is the last day of the sale… such garbage.

The illusion of a ‘great deal’ even though at 1/2 off this is still a luxury most women will not afford is so off-putting, and what quantifies the 3 star rating. We know we are getting ripped off, however for some of us this is a necessity – we want to celebrate our womanhood, and feel at peace while menstruating – and not create more waste for our landfills.

It is a HUGE deal to address the taboo of menstruation as a company and to be among the pioneers in the game. Just left to wonder is it about the Mission or the Money?.

I’ve tried lots of different brands of this type of undie, and Thinx is the best by leaps and bounds. The fabric is very high quality and made to last, is smooth so it works well under your clothing.

They are super comfortable to wear in every aspect. And the coverage is the best (to the point I can trust these undies way more than traditional methods of the past). I have several different designs and all of them have provided full protection.

I can wear whatever I want to without worry with these. Hands down, these are the best. They have been an absolute game changer for me. With other brands, the fabric is very thin but the absorbent area is like cardboard, lacks any coverage too.

Nothing compares to Thinx. If you get bad cramps and get puffy, I have found sizing up on a couple pair to be very helpful and much more comfortable on those bad days. These are absolutely worth the money.

The other brands that have popped up have been a serious let down and cost the same but very much lack the high quality of Thinx. So I’m happy to take the time to leave this review because these undies are truly great in every way.

I really like the boy short for heavy days and for sleeping. They truly keep your clothes protected like nothing else I have found and are by far more comfortable than any other product I’ve found. The other designs are great as well and have always kept me covered.

My daughter had her period on the first day of school. She wore these underwear thinking she would not leak. They provided no protection and she leaked through her clothing. I had to go pick her up because she was so embarrassed and upset.

Never buy these!.

I purchased these and they are amazing! Reusable and stains remove easily. I use for light days and have purchased two and they work great! You stay dry and feel extremely comfortable and these are more breathable than pads.

I had never used a leak proof panty before, and I was amazed at how it absorbed my period, but then was super easy to clean. I was scared to use it, but then it really worked. Also, hipsters usually slide down on my, but this one stayed up and was a comfortable fit.

I have struggled for years with my heavy flows but only recently started to experiment with products other than tampons and pads. Still I was not having much luck and I bought these without much hope of them working either.

I put them on for the first time one cramp filled morning with some caution, carefully keeping my tampon schedule throughout the day. But that evening that went completely out the window when a family member was brought to the ER and I rushed over.

Changing my tampon was the last thing on my mind and it was hours after it would have started leaking before I remembered at all. To my shock, and delight, there was not even a smudge of blood on my jeans.

(Family member is fine too btw, 🙂 Since then my confidence in them has only grown. I still wear tampons on my heaviest days but don’t feel the need to change them nearly as often since I know the underwear will take care of any leaks.

I can now sleep well at night knowing I won’t have to deal with any blood stains in the morning. My only complaint about them is the hem around the hips tends to flip down. I also wish they were high waisted.

But considering how much easier they have made my life, those are small inconveniences.

I tried these because they were on clearance. I wear an XL and have bladder leakage when I sneeze or cough. Around the house, I do not wear a pad. Outside of my home I do. These are more comfy than other brands I’ve tried and they don’t make a rustling sound when I move.

The crotch is soft and the overall material is smooth. I am going to try a moderate pair since these worked well and I don’t want to keep polluting the environment with disposable pads. Additionally, I don’t want to wear pads in the summer.

I wish the crotch protection was longer in the front and back. That’s my only suggestion.

First the good part, they are very comfortable and no riding up in back. Also, if you are using them because of an incontinence problem, as far as I am aware, they do work for very light incontinence (think a big sneeze or laugh, or in my situation when I lift something heavy).

Now for the not so great part. They definitely do not work for “wicking away” moisture caused by excessive sweating. I am not sure about the wicking caused by leaks since I live in FL where the climate plays a role in increased sweat production.

I don’t like the way they feel when I sweat because it makes it feel like I wet my pants and did not changed clothes. That is not to say that any other type of underwear that I’ve found, wicks away sweat moisture.

So that is a big negative for me. But since I am usually more concerned with the idea that I am covered should I suddenly cough, lift a heavy object, etc. The other part that I dislike is that I am not sure that underwear that is used for light incontinence needs to be mad of so much material/ thickness that it feels as though I am walking around with a “poopie diaper”.

Do I know what it feels like to walk around in a poopie diaper, not literally; but, in the sense that if I had to guess, it would feel like the panties do. I would think that a third level of “absorbency” could be created for very, very light incontinence AND sweating! It is annoying that you don’t because I am sure there are other people whose situation is much like mine.

Even the makers of the pads don’t make those for very very light leaking. Idky. It is definitely a piece of the market that you missed.

To be completely frank, both the Speax and Thinx products I bought were an unexpected let down for me. I really tried to not have too unreasonable expectations, except that I hoped the price of each product would be reflected through the quality of each underwear (especially since these ain’t exactly inexpensive period or incontinence options).

Alas, both Speax and Thinx products I purchased have frayed and produced small strands of strings after my first handwash for each item. I thought ahead and made sure to handwash all of my products to make sure I was extra gentle with them hoping this would help them last even longer, so I avoided the washing machine altogether.

Still, I am surprised by the quality of the stitching for all of the products I bought. *big sigh* I was really excited to purchase sustainable, reliable period and incontinence underwear, and I still am! I just won’t be buying any of these underwear products from this company again aaaaany time soon, or at least until the quality is 100% reflected in the pricing.

This was all just surprising for me since this company and its products claim to be “sustainable,” so I simply assumed the stitching would be up to par so as to help make these products last EVEN longer (plus this attention to detail could increase this company’s credibility and public image–but hey, this ain’t my job lol).

Overall, from this experience and my personal opinion, Thinx and Speax underwear are NOT worth the price for such–frankly–sloppy quality. I really really hope Thinx and Speax products improve so maybe I can return to y’alls online store and purchase more in the future.

For now, I shall NOT be buying any more of these products. Thank you.

I bought my first 2 pair of Speaks to see what size/ cut fit my body. I used the size chart to select the size–3X seemed wrong given I wear a 2X in most clothing, but the size chart disagreed. I’m a size 20 or 2X in most other clothing.

I also think the French cut doesn’t work for my booty. I have a bubble butt. If they didn’t have the extra padding in the crotch, I would end up with a wedgie. The 3stars is for the size and the cut not working.

I LOVE the material and the absorbancy. I do not have to run to the bathroom after a leak to ensure my underwear weren’t soaked. So much better than Always for leak coverage. I had a hysterectomy 2 years ago and still working on my pelvic floor through Pilates nearly daily.

But a bad sneeze or laughing so hard I cry can cause leaks. Not daily usually, but the frequency isn’t so easily defined. If I have a cold or bad allergies, watch out undies.

These are my favorite underwear, but they’re by no means perfect. I like that they are seamless and don’t show through most clothing, and I also find them comfortable. They’re a nice balance between most bikinis (which seem to be cut lower) and most “hipster” underwear (which I usually feel are cut too high).

But the problem with these underwear is that they don’t last very long before they start to ride up on my butt cheeks. I wash them in a mesh bag in cold water (hand wash cycle) and hang them up to dry, but they still wear out relatively quickly.

Some pairs last longer than others and I’m not sure why. Some of them only seem to last for a few wears before they start to ride up, while others will last up to a year, but I don’t think they ever last longer than that.

In contrast, my husband also wears Jockey underwear (the Elance style) and they last for YEARS. I wish these No Panty Line Promise underwear would last longer, but I still like them. I just usually wait until Jockey is having a sale to buy them.

I’ve worn No Panty Line Promise bikinis and string bikinis for about 5 years. I love them. They have always been my go-to panty. I thought I would try these lace waist band styles. I love these too. What I like most is that the wide lace waist band eases the feel of the top edge of the band as compared to the other two styles.

I still love the other two but this adds another level of comfort and variety. Also, is seems that elastic band around the leg holes is softer and more comfortable than before but that might be all in my head.

And I love the animal print patterns.

I’ll start by saying I’m a guy who is in between a large and extra large in the lady styles, so I purchased both sizes to try. When I first saw them I thought there was no way either of them would fit.

They just looked too small, but I was wrong. They both fit. The stretch was fantastic and molded around my guy parts nicely. The compression of the fabric was light but supportive. It was so light that as I wore them I thought they would not stay in place, that they would slide down or shift as I moved, but they didn’t.

The only difference for me was the smaller one seemed more sheer because it was stretched out more. Great option for anyone.

The string bikini is similar to the Elance bikini except the side panels are missing in the front. While like most of Jockey’s stuff you will want to go up a size. Funny thing is for these you almost want to go up 2 sizes if you like a bit more room in the front.

I wear a medium but bought a large and they seemed a big snugger in the waist and package area. Not uncomfortable, just snugger then the bikini. If you have ever worn the Hanes string, these are very similar except the Hanes large are just a tad bigger and come in a variety of colors.

Jockey however is a thicker material which is good tradeoff. These string bikini are great for sleeping in. You get all the comfort of sleeping naked without having to worry about sleeping naked. If you are a guy, you get what I mean.

I always wished Jockey would just make a all back set. 20 years later we got it. Now I wish they would offer all colors and let you build a set. I would love to have a all blue 6 pack. Jockey, think about a ala carte model where you pay the same price but pick the colors you want.

If not, then offer more colors and patterns.

When I feel like wearing String Bikinis, sometimes I am looking for firm support and sometimes moderate support. These are great when I am in the mood for very minimal coverage and moderate support. I really appreciate the string waist on these string bikinis.

It does what it has to do: holds them in place without being a bulky waistband. The best feature is the single layer pouch: it gives moderate support, keeping everything covered, but also lets your “package” hang free and loosely.

The backside has the full coverage of a brief with soft comfort and stays in place (no riding up and no “wedgies”). I have to give a big “Thank You” to Jockey for responding to your customers request for more colors and patterns.

Glad that my choices are no longer just black or white. I hope the choices keep increasing.

Well done Jockey! This string bikini looks, feels and the fit is almost perfection. I’ll be buying more of these for sure. Several months ago I left a few comments about Jockey manufacturing a pair of string bikini for men that wouldn’t have a seam going up the front of them.

I asked for them to manufacture something similar to the women’s but made for a man. This string bikini is very similar to the women’s “15406” cotton string bikini. If you lay Item 8608 and item 15406 side by side they look the same.

I’m ok with it in-fact I love the fact Jockey is starting to listen to their customers. I am a straight male the past five years I’ve searched for underwear for men and have been unsuccessful during that whole time after reading several other reviews by straight men.

I started wearing women’s underwear 2045,1330 and1370 made by Jockey. The biggest problem with underwear made for men is there too bulky, bunch up, too thick and just very uncomfortable. This string bikini is almost perfection much better than the old style with the wide waistband.

I hope Jockey continues to make these.

NPLP Lace Bikini – One of five new-to-me styles recently bought. Thought I’d see how ‘lace’ wore. These lace top bikini style panties fit very well. The lace band around the top had plenty of stretch and stayed in place well.

No comfort issues at all. Because the lace band is 1-3/4 inches tall making the minimum at-hip height almost 2-1/4 inches, these did not feel like a ‘bikini’ style. That is my only negative to these.

That dimension is not out-of-line with other Jockey bikini styles of panties, so it may reflect my bias. My preferred bikini style (Modern Micro) is about 2 inches at the same spot. Not that much different but these feel bigger.

The lace is not lacy (suggesting fragile) but stretches well and stays in place. As with other NPLP styles, plenty of stretch while still getting good support in the right places. Because of that non-bikini feel, these will be a occasional wear rather than in my regular rotation.

Giving these a 4-star rating.

Good grief! I was hesitant to buy this panty for a little bit seeing as how it was readily available from Fred Meyer… But when I finally decided to pull the trigger along with the Camisole from the same Material… I embraced the Panty life 100%! No more guys underwear for me as they just don’t support the same way.

These panties are soooo soft and support in all the ways necessary that You never need to go back to guys underwear again. From being too bulky to major thick Waist bands, to the thin soft, supple breathable, sensuous silky panties that women’s underwear has to offer, I can’t see going back to men’s underwear ever again… I will slowly start to replace all of my useless men’s underwear from here on out :-).

I received a package of 3 Hanes Fresh and Dry moderate period protection cotton stretch bikinis. They arrived in a good and descriptive package. I ordered a size 6. My teen daughter and I both wear that size and each tried a panty on.

My daughter is roughly 5′ 5″ and 155 lbs and wears a size 8 pant. She felt they fit perfectly. She liked the concept of the “period panty. ” However, when she wore it she was annoyed by the seam across her butt.

She also is a VERY active girl and felt it was too hot/warm for her liking. She said she would rather still wear normal underwear during the day, but this might work as back up protection at night. I, myself, am 5’6″ and 165 lbs and wear a size 10 pant.

The panty fit, but rode a bit low for my liking. Maybe a wider elastic band would help instead of the thin one they have. I, also, right away felt the seam on my butt and felt hot/warm in them. However, I got used to it and it seemed no different than wearing a pad.

I liked the idea that it doesn’t slip around like a pad. I wore mine the first day of my cycle and it did the job! I also liked that when I accidentally sneezed and peed a little it absorbed it–thanks to having children! They washed well and kept their shape.

Overall, I think they have their place. I, as a mom with a little puff to my lower belly, I would get a higher rise. I will wear them especially as backup for a pad or tampon during my period. I received these free in exchange for an honest review.

I received a set of period panties for free for my true assessment here, and for the first time trying padded underwear I was impressed. It is less bulky than pads, easier to use and gives an almost invisible silhouette in jeans.

They had a good fit, felt a little tight in the leg holes by the end of the day, but I realized the design provides a closer fit to the groin than a pad would, which eliminates the annoyance of leaks due to poor pad coverage in the middle of the gusset.

The gusset also went up high in the back, within about 2in of the top (on the bikini style). I was amazed the high gusset also eliminated extra stretch in that area which causes wedgies, so no riding up! The black color was still easy to see blood on, and easy to clean.

(Recommend rinsing until clear to avoid build up over time, then washing). I was hesitant about the polyester gusset as polyester doesn’t usually have good odor coverage or breathability but neither one was in issue in the week I tried them.

These had a little noise when walking compared to the cloth/charcoal pads I’ve been using which are noiseless, however much less noisy than commercial/store pads. Overall a great product, I will definitely be incorporating these into my routine.

I want to start off but saying, I most always, love Hanes products. This is the exception, unfortunately. I’m sort of new with period underwear, so I was excited to try the Hanes brand. This is an affordable option, but a terrible choice.

They are extremely low rise. If you have any sort of belly, these are not for you. I prefer period underwear, or really any undies, to feel secure and higher, which to me, means more comfort. These are not soft or comfortable and have zero stretch to them.

The main reason I gave this 1 star is that, the period protection/blood catcher part, doesn’t go up nearly as high as it should. It stops so low, that these are 100% useless. There’s a ridiculous amount of butt protection, but almost none in the front.

For a second, I actually thought I had these on backwards! I would never recommend these to anyone. Horrible design. I truly wonder, what they were thinking. The pros I could think of is that, they’re all black, including the liner and that they are quick drying.

Once washed, they dry very fast. Such a bummer and the last hassle you want to deal with once you’re on your period.

I tried Thinx, Dear Kate, and Proof. For me, Proof underwear were by far winners for feeling like normal underwear that I don’t loath putting on. These lace ones are probably my favorite because the lace provides a more custom fit on my hips and thighs.

I really appreciate that no part of these underwear feel plasticity and that there aren’t thin, tight bands of elastic to dig into my body during the most uncomfortable time of the month. While these give a bit of a panty line, they are the most invisible for the protection that they offer.

I also wore these a few weeks postpartum and really liked feeling just a tiny bit attractive after the massive pads were done with.

These have changed my menstrual health. I switched from using pads and tampons to period underwear and cups. Since, menstrual pain has decreased to almost none at all. They hold go good amount without any smells.

I use these during light days alone and at night. Have not had any accidents. The lace is a nice touch and allows me to feel sexy even during that time of the month.

These legitimately work! I was shocked! I used some old clothes to test them out (just in case) and nothing! Not a drop leaked! Even when I accidentally left home without a back up pair and wore them way too long (way past their two tampon capacity) they STILL didn’t leak! These also came at the perfect time because I was starting to get contact dermatitis from the pads I’ve been using for years.

I’ve started buying pairs for my sisters because I’m convinced they’ll love them. ^_^ So, yeah. Buy them. Invest in them. Take care of them. Leave the pads and plastic behind you!!.

Very comfortable and cute!! Slightly higher waisted than I expected but not high-waisted (still hits below my belly button and doesnt show in my 9 rise jeans). These are very soft and sexy. The lace design seems more durable than other lace-trimmed underwear Ive worn beforeI guess time will tell!.

I previously had low rise panties (a different brand) that cut into my stomach a bit when sitting, partially because I needed to size up but also because of the cut. I decided to try these because of the fantastic materials and certifications and for better comfort.

I’m done buying toxic brands. These are breathable, great quality, and non-toxic! I have a combination of high rise pants and medium rise. These usually work with both. If not, I’ve rolled the top of the panties down a bit and they are still just as comfy.

These are also incredibly comfortable to sleep in. Not the cutest undies I’ve ever had, but I don’t care. I’m planning to order some of the same style of thongs and medium rise undies. For reference, I’m 5’6”, 140-145 pounds, and usually wear size 6 pants.

I tend to have a hard time finding bottoms that fit because I have thicker thighs and booty area, but otherwise a fairly athletic build with a small waist. I decided to size up to a large, and I’m very happy with the fit.

I don’t even know where to begin. For reference, I am 5’2” and 125 pounds. I have sensitive skin/eczema, so finding underwear that doesn’t irritate me has always been a struggle. From other brands, the cotton underwear have elastic bands are scratchy, the cotton is rough and mixed with other materials, and they are so thick that wearing leggings/tight pants are a hassle.

But let me tell you, this brand is eve-ry-thing. First of all, they are the softest underwear. It feels so high-quality at such an affordable price. Second, the cotton that’s used allows for breathability – so much so that I forget I even have them on! Lastly, they are tag-less and the elastic band does not scratch me!! AND it looks great with my tighter clothes! This is my first purchase from them, and I will definitely be buying more styles from Knickey.

I first realized high rise underwear was going to be the way to go when doing a recent batch of swimsuit shopping and falling in love with the style and comfort of high cut swimsuit bottoms. I tried CUUP high waist, and I was SOLD.

Having a high cut leg opening is SO much more comfortable for me (and I imagine basically anyone else with any curves). I discovered Knickey from one of those blog articles with recommendations for high waist underwear while I was impatiently waiting for a delayed CUUP order to arrive and annoyed with having to wear all my other non-high rise pairs while waiting.

After reading some reviews and seeing the sheer volume of positive feedback, plus the sustainable supply chain and 100% cotton, I placed an order for 5 pairs from Knickey confident they would be at the very least wearable, but potentially awesome.

I am very satisfied with them. Comfortable, soft fabric, doesn’t ride up, nice elastic. I wish there was more of a standard/dull nude fabric – the nudes they have are either too peachy or too yellow for me, but it’s not a big deal.

When comparing to CUUP, the leg cuts for Knickey are just a bit lower and the gusset is wider. This means that they don’t ride up at all, BUT objectively less sexy. I would definitely not consider these panties sexy at all, but they are still quite attractive, and most importantly comfortable.

The limited edition blue color is exactly as pictured and the elastic is a bit shiny. Also if comparing to CUUP, the fabric is completely different. Not better or worse, just a totally different feel.

Sizing – I wear a small in both CUUP and Knickey. For reference, I wear a medium in Calvin Klein cotton panties, and a medium in GAP panties (although I’m never going back to either of those). In jeans I generally wear size 8 (Good American) or size 6 (Lucky).

I love that this is organic cotton. In the beginning, I was still scared about leakage and so I put my usual pad on top and the underwear served as backup. However, I hated that every time I used the bathroom to change the light day or regular day pad, the sticky part would pull off a thin layer of the cotton underwear with it (some threads here and there).

I didn’t like the thought of my expensive underwear slowly being thinned out over the months or years because of the sticky backing of the pads. I finally decided to use it on the first day of my period showing (a super light day).

Of course that means the underwear is barely absorbing any blood lmao but at least I have drastically cut down on my light day liner purchases! This past Christmas I decided to gift myself my second period underwear and I use this one on the last day of my period, also when there is barely anything left to absorb lol.

So now I basically STOPPED buying liners which I see as a win. It’s taking me forever to finish that last box. Anyway, I will buy my third period underwear next and use it on the days I happen to be home on the weekend to test out the absorption.

Cos then at least I’m at home and can change asap if needed. I’m excited because even though I’m still buying pads, I’m slowly getting to my goal of zero plastic =).

Used to be I had to have at least 2-3 grundy grandma panties to wear with the super long pad – and it still managed to leak. Now the period underwear takes away that feeling of wearing a diaper for that time of the month.

Although I would only recommend using them in the very beginning when the period starts and toward the end of the flow when you play the “I thought you were done” game. Depending on your flow – heaviest in the middle – then you still have to rely on pads but at least I’m cutting down on purchasing pads.

I’m also looking into other alternatives for the pads such as cloth with wing snaps – who wants to risk carrying bulky pads, (even if the wrapper is pretty) that might get dropped in front of everybody letting them know your cycle – embarrassing.

I’ll be buying a few more period underwear for my daughter to use. It’s a start!.

Just like pads and tampons you will have to switch up your period undies atleast 2 -3 times a day. On heavy flow they don’t last more then 4 hours if you want to avoid leaking. I own 4 panties and just switch it up like you would a pad or tampon.

I would then immediately hand wash the undie to dry for later use. Once my period is done I stick them in the washer and avoid extreme heat on them to help preserve them. If out in public, on heavy days, I would wear a cup along with the undies to be on the safe side.

I LOVE THE UNDERWEAR!.

I really want to like this pair of underwear. The material is wonderful. The pouch is very annoying. It is way too big and offers poor support. I don’t like how looks either. Currently I pull the under up much higher on my waist that the design is intended for and then roll the waist band down.

This fixes the support, kind of, but it is still not great. It also stops being a brief and full coverage back is actually a cheeky fit, which is okay but again not what the garment was intended for.

After years of underwear fanaticism, I’ve finally got my hands on an Obviously pair. How does it stack up? Fit’s great, with lots of room in the pouch to breathe and sway as I please. I really like that in underwear–the profile-boosting freeballing pouch that you see in a lot of Cocksox and Andrew Christian designs especially.

There’s less cover in the back than expected, which is actually a big plus for me! Super satisfied.

Fun briefs style! This is a fun alternative to their regular briefs, and feels almost like wearing a jockstrap but with the coverage in the back. I love this style and will definitely be buying more.

I’ve tried many pouch brands and have found Obviously is the best. Superior comfort, quality and durability. You forget you’re wearing them even after a long day at work. This material is super soft and comfortable.

The pouch is a bit roomier than the Free Man style, so great if you need more space.

I live in these! No bells or whistles yet beautiful minimal design, super comfortable and practical. The wide waist band doesn’t ride or dig. Although I like thinner string in thongs in general, this does not disappoint me.

I wear size 25 jeans, size 4 Lululemon leggings and size XS in this thing fits me well. Went up Small during pregnancy for extra confort. Highly recommended.

this didn’t fit like a brief at all. It fit more like a super low bikini. It didn’t fit well in the “cheeks” either. I would love a product like this fabric with a better cut. Maybe a hipster style or a full cut bikini that isn’t too awful low.

Jeans push the super low ones down even lower. I love the matching bra so wish I had another good option for have a matching set.

This thong is so easy to wear. No riding, no binding – the waistband feels stable and soft and I forgot I was wearing a thong! The fabric is gorgeous on, and as soft as it is pretty. Great purchase, and I will buy more.

It’s that Culprits are the most comfortable underwear you will ever own! They are softer than a cloud and hug all of the right places, showing off my booty and waist with absolutely no line anywhere.

Best of all, no camel toe! I cannot give these underwear enough praise. I weep when I put on any other underwear because they are so uncomfortable compared to Culprits. The waistband is wide enough that the underwear will not move anywhere – I had a 12-hour track meet and these did not move an inch, no matter how much running or stretching I did.

I will say, make sure that they are washed in a delicates bag and away from anything that could snag them. I ordered a pair in small and a pair in medium because I was between sizes on the size chart.

I tried both on and it turned out that the mediums were the perfect fit. I could not send the smalls back because I stupidly tried them on without another layer underneath. Culprit’s customer service sent me a new pair free of charge! The customer service was beyond my expectations, and I will 100% be buying from Culprit again.

What can I say other than I was a moron for waiting so long. Your size guide is spot on and the pair I tried fit amazing. From navigating your site to selecting my items to the practically teleported shipping I cannot express how pleased I am.

Even though your items a few $$ more than a few of the others out there I can tell it’s worth it just based on how great my first buying exp. went. They fit like a glove no riding, rolling or sagging.

Haven’t washed any yet so I can’t review on how they hold up, but as of right now you def. have a new monthly customer. Hopefully, you’ll get some more disco bunnies in and add a few more patterns so I can continue to grow my collection of Culprit garments.
