20 Best Underwear For Jock Itch (2023 Updated)

Bought many pair of these for my husband who is a landscaper. He bends and squats a lot and the flexibility and longer length are great for non constricting crotch area. Giving 4 stars instead of 5 due to the fact that the e seams do NOT last well! I have tried to sew some up but then they don’t lay flat (would work if I had a sewing machine) and then can rub a red spot on his leg.

I hope they will read these comments and ask the the factory to DOUBLE SEAM these. Actually – I would do that for all of your undies and use that as an added benefit in your marketing. If you have to increase the price by.

Very lightweight and breathable. I use them as PJ’s. Love the waistband, smooth and comfy. The large logo in the front makes it pop. I am a very active person and wear slim clothing so as an everyday pair they do not work for me.

But these pair are my go-to when I am at home and want to feel relaxed. Definitely would recommend if you like loose clothing. Very stylish silk-like. Colors are bright and do not appear to fade. They look l like you have a new pair every time they come out of the drawer.

Convenient 3-pack to try on different colors. I’d prefer a shorter length but that just my preference. Has a button fly opening which stays put. Don’t have to worry of it opening accidentally. Overall good pair of boxer shorts.

Access to the penis was always an issue for me; contorting through the traditional side slit was not my forte. I had grown used to using my thumb to pull down the waist band and flop it out from there, something not very useful in certain situations, With the advent of the pocket, this annoyance is a thing of the past.

I lived in Kenosha WI as a child and there was a Jockey facility near our home. My brother-in-law worked there and would routinely give gifts to me of various different styles so I was already familiar with the quality this company provided.

The quality today exceeded the quality I recall from back them. They are softer [read super soft], seams are smoother, fit is fantastic, and if there was an issue it would be with the larger width of the elastic waist band.

I’m still a small dude, not succumbing to the usual belly flop typical with older males. I still fit easily into a 34, one size larger than I did as a young man back then. I cannot speak for different sizes but these are amazing and worth every penny.

I have been a loyal customer of these briefs in particular for well over 10 years ordering more as needed to replace them as they wear out. Which takes a while and even then I usually replace them because they start to wear thin from normal use and laundry.

Recently I purchase another batch of 12 but this time the fabric quality was noticeably thinner. To the point where you can see through it when stretches a bit. In fact the fabric on the new ones felt thinner than the old ones I was going to replace.

I’m guessing cost saving measures were taken by using thinner fabric that contains less cotton with the tradeoff being compromised quality. Very disappointing that I’m going to have to look elsewhere for another brief product/brand.

Let me know when you get back to previous quality standards because until then I wont be buying these again.

First of all… I have been buying jockey for over 20 years for my family. My mother and father even wore them. I have been buying these particular big mans underwear for my husband who is a very large man for 15 years.

But I don’t know WHAT THE HECK HAS HAPPENED TO THE QUALITY OF JOCKEY!!! THEY ARE THIN AND AWFUL NOW!!!! My husband is in construction and these underwear are just NOT HOLDING UP!!! THEY ARE THIN FABRIC WHEN THEY USED TO BE NICE AND THICK.

I love these boxer briefs. The fabric is silky smooth and dries quickly. I appreciate that they are made of NYLON instead of POLYESTER, as nylon washes much better and does not hold on to stink. Other fabric characteristics (weight, knit/weave) being equal, nylon will absorb slightly more water.

Polyester absorbs oils (oleophilic) but almost no water (hydrophobic), so it tends to stay smelly even after washing. Who wants smelly underwear?? Ideally I’d change 2 things: 1. get rid of the branding on the waistband, or at least make it more subtle 2.

make more of a front pouch. the fabric is stretchy enough that they are still comfortable, but the boys could be better supported. exofficio sport mesh box briefs have a great pouch design. i find the extra fabric flaps (saxx, the like) unnecessary if the pouch is well designed.

Also love the undershirts. keep ’em coming!.

I had high hopes for these after reading other reviews, but find them to be just “good enough. ” I really like the material, but the fit is strange. I have a 31” waist and am about 135 lbs, so fall between sizes.

I ordered Medium because I’ve found that if I get Small underwear, the crotch is too narrow and there isn’t enough space in the front. The leg holes are really big and loose—there’s hardly any elastic, so the openings aren’t as snug as I’d like them to be.

And the leg holes stretch over the course of the day, which sometimes leads to chafing—the whole reason I wear briefs in the first place. They aren’t bad, but not great either. The price is good enough where it’s worth trying them.

They’re definitely better than Hanes or other run-of-the-mill cotton briefs.

1. SuperSoft Boxer Briefs: Great fit, kind of cottony and soft inside and out (as included in this order). I like these in the daytime because the fabric seems to have slightly greater heft and they are very comfortable.

2. Superfit Boxer Briefs: They have a very smooth (almost silky) finish both inside and out. Great fit, and I especially like using them as sleep wear since they are lighter, slicker and are very sexy with ‘company’ present (marrieds included).

One pair of these pelled somewhat in the wash, but others have held up perfectly – I hang dry to avoid dryer damage to the rather elastic fabric. The sculpted fit of both SuperSoft and SuperFit skivvies are a basic attraction.

I like both and will maintain a serviceable and artistically interesting collection of patterns in stock.

This underwear is incredible! I’m a tall guy who always was self conscious about concealing his package. Along with having low hangers. When wearing dress pants/shorts the previous underwear wouldn’t keep things in place.

It was uncomfortable and embarrassing to constantly readjust discreetly at meetings or excusing myself to the bathroom. My balls would separate, stick to my thigh, you could visibly see them through my pants.

Also, the fabric would stretch out over time making containment even worse. This new underwear is life changing. I put everything in the pouch and it stays there. The 2 pieces of extra fabric lining the pouch contains my balls no matter what activity I’m performing.

The fabric is soft, breathable, cradles your package. I can finally get dressed and not have to worry about my junk falling out or someone glancing down thinking I’m not wearing underwear. Who ever thought of this is genIus! Wish someone had thought of this sooner.

The build quality of this textile can be hit or miss. These are made of a nice, soft viscose material which works well in the water and is the primary reason why I order this brand. These make great undershorts for surfing, diving, anything where you need to be in the ocean or fresh water.

As a dryland item they compare favorably with other more expensive luxury brands. Occasionally I have an issue with quality control or wearing out. I think they are mass produced in Asia and thus the usual caveats apply.

Keep in mind I’m pretty hard on my clothes. They also have some funky and cool stylings for those who are wearing them in situations where they will be more of a fashion item.

The style is not as comfortable as anticipated, with the boxer brief material bunching up around the thighs with squatting and sitting. The ballpark pouch could use some improvement. I would have liked a larger pouch that protrudes a bit more and lower, allowing for better separation between the balls and thigh.

The seam and mesh material could also be softer, I was expecting the shell material to be used here, but was disappointed to find otherwise. This mesh seam can get quite irritating and itchy where it rests.

I had also hoped the thighs inseam was tighter, which may have helped with the bunching fabric in the legs (I’m no clothing designer though). One friend, whom I gifted a 2-pack to, said the pouch wasn’t large enough for them, claiming it the compression made them uncomfrotable.

The material quality was good, but the website and fit information could be better. The bunching in the legs may have made me choose a different silhouette, but the store did not provide enough information to help me choose an appropriate fit.

The selection wasn’t that great. Most multi-packs were for the boxer briefs, and there wasn’t a big selection of patterns and colours for other silhouettes. There were almost no multi-packs for other silhouettes, meaning that anything outside of a boxer brief had little incentive for buying more than 1, making other brands more enticing.

These new ball hammocks are light years ahead of their predecessors. I have been a member of the subscription club for over a year now, and the first few months, the boxers were sub-par at best. Main thing was they seemed to keep getting smaller as the months went on and new ones came in, (and no I was not getting fatter.

) Since late last year, Shinesty has turned it around. The boxers are better material, true to size, and fit like a glove, a warm snugly glove for my man bits. Whatever you changed, or whoever you fired, keep it up.

These are great boxers, and I’m glad I stuck it out to realize the true potential.

I love the ball hammock! The support is awesome, comfortable, and looks great (especially for my wife!). However, I started my subscription with size medium and they rode up the back way too much. I went down to a small hoping the size difference would help.

It didn’t! These boxers ride up so much that SWASS is unavoidable. Thinking about cancelling and looking for another brand that won’t ride up and that will hopefully keep the boys comfortable too.

These are such fun underwear and my husband loves how they fit. He was concerned they would feel wierd or too tight but that is not the case. Also customer service is on point! Our package got lost in transition and they sent a new one out immediately with 3 day shipping.

This product delivers on all expectations and has very little to find fault with. First off, the fabric is soft and has perfect amount of stretch to be very comfortable while retaining its shape throughout the day.

It is also thin enough to be light and breathable, but not concerningly thin where one would question quality. The fabric is also good at wicking moisture. Secondly, the waistband is excellent. Not too thin or thick, with right amount of elasticity to always be comfortable without being too tight, even after a large meal.

Roll over is not an issue. Thirdly, the silver that is part of fabric does it job with flying colors. No odors what so ever, even after all day on construction sites, manual labor in the garden, or hard workouts.

I’ve laundered the product twice and it has held up excellently. I expect this pair of underwear to last a long time. The only downside for me is the fit. Being an athlete with large thighs causes the fabric around my legs to ride-up and bunch.

Thanks the quality fabric, ride-up is minimal but still noticeable. A short rise, trunk style would be ideal. Another issue I noticed with the underwear construction was the stitched side seam running vertically on the outer portion of each thigh is bothersome and should be a flatlock seam like all other seams.

Not a deal breaker but hopefully this is changed as it should be an easy fix for product designers. Overall, I’d highly recommend this underwear to anyone seeking excellent quality, high performance fabric, and long lasting freshness from silver technology.

My husband has only ever worn briefs prior to these Boxer Briefs. He is fussy about what he likes/dislikes so I was wary to first order them. I have now placed my second order and he is very pleased with these boxer briefs.

They have proven to wear well, fit excellently, and the waistbands do not roll or stretch out. The briefs themselves don’t ride up and provide excellent support. The elasticity has been very good with no sagging or rolling despite repeated washings and dryings.

For everyday wear these stay dry and cool. Purchased these on sale and haven’t found a better price or value anywhere. Highly recommend these.

I bought these for my husband and. RAWR! They look amazing!! They shape him nicely and have just enough of that fishnet look to keep the imagination active! He loves wearing them not even just for sexy time but for everyday! He works a physical labor job and says that they keep everything in place and breathe really well so they don’t give him.

Great style. Waist band a little tight compared to other brand of the same size. Frontal pouch is rather tight though the fabric is stretchy. I’m not the most well endowed so the ‘bigger’ dudes will not have much coverage.

Excellent fit everywhere except the pouch. Comfortable to wear anyway. Stays in place and holds everything still. Could be a little softer material but other than that it’s very nice.

I acquired these boxers for my husband due to complaints of chafing given his work environment. He is an HVAC tech exposed to the elements on a daily basis including the sweltering summers of the midwest.

He felt the fit was good without restriction. He stated they are more comfortable than previous brands he has worn before. He did not experience any chafing and would recommend. His only complaint was that I did not get more pairs.

These would be great for any active lifestyle to prevent chafing or for those that want to try something other than standard cotton-type boxers. These are a silky-type of fabric for a much smoother feel.

If you are looking for more comfort, give these a try.

The first product that was not a desired style, or fit that I would continue to wear. Was looking for a fit that was comfortable when working out and not having to wear multiple layers. I was a bit disappointed that the fit was very tight at the leg/thigh region.

The waistband would roll up on you, depending on the “tightness” that you selected. The “pouch” of course this is personal on how much support and movement you may desire, but wow. this can be an eye-opener for the newly initiated into the pouch / hammock style underwear.

The comfort level is much less than the regular longer length compression type shorts. This is something that leaves many avenues of improvement, but with individuality at this tightness / compression you may want to try before buy if getting multiples.

Solid, comfortable, durable, sexy and fun to wear. I wear them at work under my uniform, on a date or anywhere when I want to feel good about my body. Make sure not to take a size too tight/ small if you plan on putting them in the drying machine.

Amazing products, the defining boxer brief is great for the gym and gives me a sexier silhouette without ever looking unnatural. I have tried the padded version in the gym as well, and it is not noticeable either.

It is light, and one does not sweat during exercises too much as the padding is spongy and made with light foam. In my newly acquired Rounderbum collection, I have a mixture of defining and padded undies for different occasions and diverse trousers.

It is worth trying different cuts with Rounderbum’s various models. Also, if your body weight changes a lot like mine, a collection can help you make you feel better in different situations. I cannot wait for a swimwear version!.

Why I like them. # 1 – These underwear really do add a perky boost to your cheeks, and I love the fit. # 2 – They are comfortable, including the waistband. # 3 – No one can tell your wearing shape enhancing underwear.

HOWEVER, for the price you pay, there are a couple of design flaws that need improvement. I have only worn these underwear about a dozen times in the past 3-4 months and follow the washing instructions that are suggested.

Unfortunately I am concerned they may not last as long as I had hoped. What need improvement. # 1- The fabric edges have begun to curl on the inside pocket (envelope-like sleeve inside) that holds the foam padding In place.

To improve, the fabric egge of the pocket needs to be stiffened, fabric doubled, or edges hemmed. # 2 – Even though I only wear them occasionally, the foam pads are beginning to flatten, discolor, and breakdown.

I suggest using a higher quality padding such as a dense memory foam, or including a second set of foam insert pads with each pair of underwear. # 3 – You have to remove the foam padding before washing the underwear and re insert the pad before you wear them again.

Designing these underwear with the foam pads permanently sewn in would really be a great improvement. Ultimately I would buy them again, but I hope this feedback will help improve the under construction and design before I purchase my next pair.

Fit was bad, kept riding low on my waist. The padding for back goes down your legs resulting in the the lower part of my backside to be padded. The seams for the padding are in a terrible spot, the seam rubs my skin.

I will not be buying again or recommending to anyone. I don’t understand why one of the sharks invested money in this company. Customer service is terrible as well. Says they are not able to return or refund anything because the government said so is a lie! All other companies are doing that it’s just this company.

I’m 47 years old and I’ve tried so many types of underwear over the years, I never cared about price because I just want something comfortable. I’ve tried them all, Ralph Lauren, hanes, Jockey, calvin Klein, all of them!! I don’t know these Tommy John people and get nothing from doing this review.

I live right outside Pittsburgh PA. I can honestly 10000 percent say Tommy John AIR and 2nd Skin are the best. You honestly can’t even tell you’re wearing underwear. I haven’t tried the other fabrics much, i’m stuck on “AiR and 2nd Skin” There’s no doubt Tommy John is a little expensive, but I could care less, I promise you if you get a couple pair of trunks or square cut air or 2nd skin, you’ll be hooked.

It’s hard to believe one underwear company can be that much better than any other, but again, THEY ARE THE BEST. I’ll be glad to show anyone my purchase history to show this is a real review. Tommy John figured it out.

no wedgies, no problems at all, you can’t even tell you have underwear on. I can’t vouch for many other products, i do like the undershirts, and I buy them, but my review here is for underwear square cut or trunk, and get “air” or 2nd skin” Sorry for bad grammar, run on sentences, lol ect.

I usually wear briefs and ordered Tommy John for first time a few months ago. I love their fit and the way they nestle the boys and the horizontal fly. How long have we had to buy underwear made by people that think men are flat in the crotch and that they should have to dig through a vertical fly to get access? Duh.

I loved the fit and features of the briefs and then started looking at the trunks. I have never been much of a fan as they usually also fit flat and plaster your stuff to your body. I didn’t think Tommy John could match the comfort of the briefs in the trunks.

But they did! Same pouch support and fly convenience! Still like briefs best but these trunks are a great alternative.

These trunks are somewhat uncomfortable. There is a lot of material at the base of the leg. When these trunks ride up, which happens frequently for me, all of that material ends up jammed in the crotch area.

It requires frequent, awkward adjustment to pull the legs back down, especially when doing physical activity like working out. While that may be acceptable in a cheap pair of trunks you buy at a local store, it’s not acceptable for a pair of underwear that costs more than thirty dollars per pair.

I tried a few different pairs from different product lines and materials at Tommy John, but they all had similar issues with riding up and not being comfortable. The customer service team at Tommy John were very supportive and shipped me replacements to see if I’d like something else better, but ultimately I wasn’t impressed with anything in the Tommy John product line.
