20 Best Underwear For Fat Guys (2023 Updated)

I’ve been wearing SAXX Quest shorts for years now, and they are my favorites. The stance butterblend with wholster are a very close competitor though. Very comfortable and soft to wear, the wholester works without binding.

I really like these shorts, longevity is yet to be determined, but they are very well made out of the box. If you’re on the fence buy a couple of pair to try them out you’ll be glad you did.

I love the design of the underwear and softness, those parts are perfect. I ordered a medium because that waist range was within my own waist range, but I got my underwear and they felt too much like compression shorts, very tight.

So I am returning these and will get a large instead. Just wanted to speak on my experience.

The print! It’s such a flattering look for all skin colorations. The designer deserves credit for bringing an astounding neutral color scheme to this pair while also combining some radiance. I feel handsome in them and hope to see Stance continue with more floral/organic patterns in the future!.

Am a size 55 pants, bought the 4XB (Big Man selection) and they fit perfectly. But to be slightly more honest, I know it may shrink some as soon as I wash them, but the fit is slightly snug at the waist and loose everywhere else.

I love the loose fitting, its my preference as I don’t like anything that is basically wrapping my body and not allowing the feeling of freedom. When I opened the package and pulled one out, I was thinking “Oh God.

I don’t think these will fit. ” as they looked really big compared to my old 2xl boxers that still fit me. Visually they don’t look the size, but once you put them on, physically, its perfect. They are soft feeling, does not have any roughness to them anywhere.

I can bend, sit, stretch, everything possible in these boxers without them riding up, or feeling tight anywhere. They feel light and ***. and sometimes I feel like I don’t even have these boxers on. I honestly haven’t had this feeling in many years.

Am glad I bought 2 of the 6 packs, will definitely buy again if in need. Now comes the durability test and see how long these will last. If they are true to its name, I should get many years out of these boxers before I would need to buy more.

First time I’ve bought boxers in decades. Like since High School, I’m in my 60’s now. I purchased a package just to try, and they were PERFECT! Couldn’t have been more pleased. I liked them so much, I bought second package about a month later.

No good. Shorter, tighter, and uncomfortable. I think my voice went up an octave after wearing for a few days. (Not the same pair, every one from the package) They sucked, and probably won’t be buying any more.

I laid them out side by side after washing and the difference was visible. They looked identical in every way, except the size. It was clearly visible. Both marked 3XG (?) or something like that. I guess the cloth cutting machine was re-adjusted by bean counters trying to save a penny or two.

I may try another batch, but this time I’ll save the packaging and paperwork and return them if they’re sub-standard. These were purchased because I recently retired, and moved from the frozen Tundra Hellhole of CT to FL and was looking to increase my comfort level, and provide just a wee bit of “ventilation” to the affected organs.

Not happy with all the results. YMMV.

I bought these for my husband. They do run small. My husband has a 32 waist so I ordered the small and they are very snug in the waist. We compared the waist to other boxers that he has and these are about 2 inches smaller.

They are a little bit more fitted than relaxed style, not just because they run small but they leg part is just more straight than flared. This part doesn’t bother my husband but it might for other men that might have larger thighs.

These were also not packaged at all when shipped. The seller just slapped on a shipping label on the back of the underwear packaging. Luckily none of the pairs were damaged or dirty as the only closure is the flap with the adhesive closure, leaving the side of the end with the flap closure exposed and we ordered white boxers.

So do not buy if you don’t want everyone seeing your underwear that you buy.

These Death Row boxers are great! Love the print and colors. Runs a little small, I usually wear a size XL, bought these in a 2XL — really nice fit, very comfortable.

When they arrived they looked huge! But after a wash and dry on high they shrank and fit perfectly. Order normal size and don’t get worried when they show up looking a little big. One little quirk… one of the pairs are sewn wrong? Now, I ordered the 15-pack and it was $15.

Not sure if pricing error or just a sale but that’s extremely cheap for fruit of the loom so I got em. I’m not worried about one pair being messed up but just be aware of this issue. If curious how bad it is.

The front fly area, where it meets with the seat (the seam between your legs) has been sewn flipped? Meaning, it’s permanently twisted. No was to get fly and seat to lay flat, there’s a twist in it. If it was a minor issue with waistband or something I could wear it but with a permanent twist between my legs it’s not gonna be comfortable.

If I wanted bikini briefs, I would have ordered them. Even though I ordered the same size as as usual, these briefs are way different than the last Fruit of the Loom Men’s Tag-Free Cotton Briefs I ordered two years ago.

My weight and dimensions have not changed. The waist band is much lower on the waist. No, not waist, these lay across the pelvis. Top of buttocks cleft exposed. Over all, the fit is smaller. Perhaps these are mislabeled or the manufacturer is trying to increase profits by reducing material.

I don’t know, but what I do know is that I will not be ordering F of the L brand again.

My hubby is 435 lb and 3X at the department stores don’t cut it the legs are too tight and cause too much friction. The waste would be snug and the length a little short. So I got on the website 6 years ago and the XB sizes for chunky hunky guys are perfect! Perfect in length, waste and leg room.

I’ve been to big and stores and prefer Fruit of the Loom. Most important, my husband grew up with this brand. That’s #1! So when I learned of the website having big guy sizes it was great news for him.

He dealt with uncomfortable undies for a while. Now the boys are happy.

I have purchased many of the different versions of Harbor Bay’s wicking boxers and for the most part they are very similar; however, each does fit a little different. I feel that these boxers are a bit snug at the waistline area.

Not a lot of give so they hug you well so that your boxers dont fall down or sag. Some of the others that I have purchased just had a little bit more give than these. For this reason, that is why I subtracted a star from my rating, but dont get me wrong, I do like these.

just wish there was a little more give in the elastic. They look great by the way and otherwise feel wonderful.

finally a long enough Inseam !! Cannot beleive no other company has thought about this. The inseam is long enough not to suffocate your friends down there and these do not ride up! amazing! I tired many brands, polo, jockey, Tommy Hilfiger and their inseams are way to small causing your crack to show and constantly pulling down your boxers.

I got these as an alternative to my daily jersey fabric briefs. They don’t really wick moisture all too well, and run a little snug for their size. They also rode very low. All in all, a good purchase, but I’ll stick to the jersey cotton ones for everyday wear.

At first touch I felt the quality of these boxer briefs. The material feels durable but yet it is soft and comfortable. The material is high quality. These underwear fit true to size. Comfortable from the waist band, through the crotch, and down to the legs.

Everytime I put these on, I am amazed at how great they feel. Additional good qualities are the waistband. It does not roll down. The crotch and legs do not ride up. Everything stays in place! The fly is reinforced to keep the under wear fitting nicely for wear after wear.

This additional reinforcement material makes using the fly a little different than other underwear, but this just takes couple wears to get accustomed to. I fully recommend these boxer briefs. I am 100% satisfied.

The Breathe Mesh Jockey Briefs are perfect for the guy that wants his classic brief style updated with modern comfort a man needs. The briefs are full rise and fit great. They are true to size. The mesh is pretty fine so while you can see the mesh in the design of the brief you don’t notice it while wearing them.

The only thing you’ll notice that you feel more comfortable in them as the temperature increases since the mesh allows moisture wicking and evaporation. The briefs offer comfort and support a guy needs and keyhole fly for easy access when nature calls.

I now have 8 pairs of these, so that speaks to how much I love them! I am a short, heavy, old guy and had been wondering what all the buzz was about over these other manufacturers underwear. I tried to order some but none of them had my size.

I had recently made the transition from tighty whities to knit boxer shorts and one day saw these on Land’s End. Even though I had just recently bought ten or twelve all cotton boxers from varying manufacturers, I immediately bought a two pack of these.

These are so lightweight and comfortable, I now have eight pairs and these are all I wear! I just wish they came in more colors. I now understand what all the fuss has been about. These lightweight, stretchy fabrics are a true game changer.

They are super comfortable to the point that you barely know you have them on. They are super stretchy too. I can pull them out maybe 10″ or more from my waist but they snap back into place. So as you sit and bend, etc.

, they stretch out and accommodate you as you spread out. If I could think of one criticism, it might be that the legs are not long enough and ride up a bit. But they’re only two or three inches long, and the fabric is so thin that if they bunch up, you can’t really tell.

It’s not like I find myself squirming around and trying to yank the legs down. But I do wonder if longer legs would be even better. I’ve had them for a couple months now and they seem to be holding up just fine after several washes too.

So, try a pair. I’ll bet you get hooked. PS: I don’t work for LE either.

Acquired a few pair of these over some months and have worn consistently. Great light weight for my Texas life. Some absorption in the cotton, but not so much fabric that you are sweaty. Waist band is championship comfortable even though it is not a wide band; surprising.

Fabric is a combination of cotton and synthetic and of standard weave and mesh. Very nice. So, why 4 and not 5 stars? The fly is oddly positioned which hurts the function. It runs all the way up to the waistband.

For why? Don’t know. Still great underwear. Will still buy again. They fix the fly and they own this category.

These Comfort Knit Boxer Briefs are very comfortable. The fabric blend (cotton/modal/spandex) is ideal. The lower part of the pouch is stretchy and unique. Bought several more pair after the first order.

I am between sizes (M, L) and have ordered the Medium and they fit fine, I guess because of the stretchiness. Laundered easily (cold,delicate). My only complaint is the fly is a little hard to use (inner opening is opposite side from the outer opening).

Over the last 3 years I own a dozen or so pairs. I run and work out 5+ days a week. Additionally, I use them as a liner when I run, work out and in the ocean. I use a casting net 3 days a week in the surf.

I have used Nike, Under Armer and many other competitive brands over the last 2 decades. I have always struggled with staying cool, the product falling apart due to wear and tear and the elastic giving way.

These boxers are by far the best for hot weather running outside or inside, work outs at the gym, in surf. you name it. The ability for these boxers to breath, dry fast and stay cool is exceptional. The elastic waist band has held up well.

I only use Huk now for any workout, run, gym, surf. For me there isn’t anything that stands up to this performance. Buy a pair, you will not be disappointed. I trashed all the other competitor compression boxers I have including my lulu lemon ones!.

Un opened, seal package of underwear and won’t let you return them. I accidentally ordered the wrong size. Huk you suk and I will never order from you again! Ever.

Bought a few of these and 3 of them have defects. The stitching is coming undone on at least 1 and the band is tearing on 2 others and I have only owned them for a few months. Contacted customer service and it was the worst experience I have ever had.

The quality of this product is not in line with the price. I have costco underwear that has lasted me years for a tenth of the price. WILL NOT PURCHASE ANOTHER HUK PRODUCT.

Quite possibly the best briefs I’ve ever owned. They’re extremely light and breathable like a liner for running shorts, but more form-fitting with good support. They give just the right amount of coverage in the rear but ride a bit lower on the hips compared to traditional briefs which I really works for my body type (athletic).

They’re also no-fly and tagless which are both a plus in my book! Highly recommended.

Took some research to find these beauties. The feel is amazing even after many washes. Love that the waistband has no scratchy tag on it. Don’t personally use the fly portion on them so can’t comment on that.

Very breathable and love the length, just what a tall person needs in their life. Went with extra large instead of my usual large in Haynes brand size so they’re not too snug.

Extremely comfortable! The waistband is slightly more relaxed than what I’m used to wearing (size M with a 32’ waist) but it gives a more “free” feeling. If you want breathable underwear at a reasonable price, snag these and try them for yourself.

Made too short, they fit like biker shorts. Boxers need to have some length, these have none.

Was looking for my wife some more products, as she gets lots of complements on the Commando sports bra she purchased. While looking for her, I decided to give the boxer briefs a shot. While a little expensive, was worth it, and I have since bought a couple more pair.
