These have been AMAZING for abdominal hysterectomy recovery!! I’m 125 lbs and they fit great! They provide gentle compression which really helps after surgery. They don’t irritate my incision. They don’t ride up.

And I’ve had zero problems with them tearing. I wear one for an entire day with multiple trips to the bathroom and zero tearing. Seriously can’t say enough good things about these! Definitely a must have for hysterectomy or c-section recovery!.

I just had my first baby and it was via c-section. I leaked through mesh underwear and found it to be aggravating to my incision. When I got home, I purchased these mesh disposable undies and I can honestly say I have not leaked through any pair of these.

I also had a heavy amount of lochia and these underwear hold my two overnight pads and gauze dressing for incision in place. I would highly recommend. I am 5’3” about 175lb at this time. I wear the petites.

There’s room for stretching and getting comfy.

First of all, if you are really thinking of these as single use, one pad change, they earn a higher rating. These are thicker and feel more supportive than the hospital undies. The spandex also made them pretty comfy overall.

Downsides: first off one size fits all is a bit deceiving. I am not sure the leg holes would be comfortable for all sizes nor the butt coverage. Also, as other reviewers said, these did not survive a whole day as I’d hoped they would.

I think they made it three pad changes before I had worn a hole and had to toss them. They seem a bit expensive for me to justify going though 8-10 a day in the beginning. The hospital ones for me survive all day and are washable which made them a better option.

For the record I love all of my other Frida Mom and Frida Baby products, esp the peri bottle. These just need some changes to be worth the expense in my opinion.

The hardest part of bringing baby home was learning how to care for myself and baby simultaneously. I was blown away by the amount of care I required immediately after coming home from the hospital. I tried several recommended products and found that they added to my discomfort.

After trying and loving a few other Frida products, I decided to give these a shot. These disposable underwear were a game changer for me. They are incredibly stretchy, high rise and comfortable. I loved that I could choose my own level of protection while keeping a slim profile – which was not possible with depends or other adult incontinence products.

They fit like a dream, snug without feeling like my post-baby body was rolling out or bulging over. For reference I’m 5’8” and a size 26 pre-pregnancy.

Don’t waste your money on these. I bought several Frida mom products to prepare for the birth of my daughter. These underwear were so uncomfortable that I wore 1 pair on the way home from the hospital and changed out of them as soon as I arrived home.

They are cut extremely wide in the crotch and caused additional pain due to the rough fabric rubbing against my skin. They are so hot to wear because they hardly breathe (I gave birth in October so it was cool outside).

Buy full coverage breathable cotton underwear instead.

I just have my second baby through c-section. My first baby was also delivered through C-section. I did not have any issues the first time. I was almost pain free after three days and felt great. However, I have a tough time this time around.

I have lots of pain especially the first two weeks post partum. I did some research and came across Upspring c-panty. I did not want to buy it in the beginning due to so pricey and not sure if it is worth the money.

But I have experienced so much discomfort from the surgery and found myself hard to do day to day chores even getting up from chair. I decided to order the c panty and gave it a try. I ordered the small size and it fits well.

I am happy with my investment because it dose give me some support in the abdominal area. It is good quality fabrics and feel comfortable. It provides the necessary support. It helps with the pain. Definitely would recommend it.

I love this idea so much and really wanted to like the underwear, but I just don’t think these will work for me. The brief style simple hits too low on my hips. Either I get the appropriate size for my waist/butt and the outer, bottom leg cuts into my hip uncomfortably, or I order a size up and then they are practically falling off of me (but my hips are comfortable).

I wish they would make a hipster style!!.

The concept of this product is good. However Motherhood Maternity customer service was difficult to work with, and they don’t have enough selection for pregnant women. They are hard to find, unless your searching the internet, and it’s sad that there are not enough stores like this that can cater to women having children.

I got these for my incredibly painful periods. The postpartum fits me much better since I prefer a higher waist. They’re like a warm hug (especially when paired with the amazing heating pads).

These underwear were the most comfortable after my C-section out of 4 different styles. All said they were high cut for post-delivery comfort, but these were the only ones truly high enough for my needs.

Really love these! They hold in the “fluff” and make me feel more confident in my third-child-postpartum body. I got my during pregnancy size verses my pre-pregnancy & am pleased with it because it doesn’t cut into my thighs leaving awful lines.

After reading reviews and the sizing guide, I decided to go up from my normal a size to a Large, however I should have stuck with my usual size Medium. The only time the size up would have worked for me would have been the first week after giving birth.

Because they’re so big, they constantly slide down on my belly and because they’re a cotton undie, they stretch out VERY quickly, which make them slide around even more. Currently, I only wear these to bed, not during the day.

My recommendation is that if you’re between sizes, go with the size down as that will work better more long-term in the postpartum journey. Now as far as comfort and quality, I think they’re great and I would have been much happier with them had I gotten a medium.

The fabric is SO soft and the lace is also stretchy and soft enough to feel comfortable post birth and provides extra comfort post c-section. Kindred Bravely, PLEASE start allowing returns/exchanges on these.

While I understand your concern for health, it’s standard industry practice to accept returns/exchanges on undies, so in comparing to other companies, you’re setting yourself apart in a negative way by not allowing that.

Will I recommend these? yes, but if you tend to be between sizes, first look for something similar from other companies that will allow you to return or exchange if they don’t fit.

I bought these while I was still pregnant. When they were delivered I could see that some of the lace around the top was detached from the actual underwear and there were a bunch of strings hanging off I had to cut.

They weren’t in bad enough shape to complain or attempt a return, so I washed them and wore them. Let me tell you, these are comfortable! I was thoroughly surprised. I ended up going back and buying more.

After receiving the quality of bras from KB, I was a little disappointed in the look of the underwear but I’m just about 6 weeks postpartum and still wearing them. They do run a bit small, so I sized up, plus I figured with all the pads postpartum that would be good and they fit perfectly.

My thought on this was it’s a good deal for the 5 pack and if they’re really that bad and I get blood all over them it’s not a big deal. I would definitely recommend these to a friend with the caution of the condition when you first open them.

These are something I feel KB needs to work on to get the same quality as their bras.

I’ll start by saying I was super excited about these, as I had a scheduled c-section. I order one set, and before they came in I ordered another (and I wish I hadn’t). The first set I had refunded, after back and forth with customer service of course.

Two pairs got wholes after a single wear, I was super disappointed. I didn’t even want to deal with the second set. They seem cheaply made, the lace frays and honestly they just don’t fit me right. I thought at first maybe it was because my pregnant belly.

but postpartum it’s not any better. They don’t stay up and they are always moving around and with a C-section I was really looking for something to stay off my incision and these are not doing the trick.

All and all I would NOT recommend these, go to Target or Walmart and get high waisted briefs, they’re cheaper and the quality will be the same. There are other items that I got and love – check out the nightgowns and robes!.

Full disclosure, these are the only postpartum underwear I bought. This was my 3rd baby and last planned baby and I decided to spoil myself a little so I bought the hospital bundle. These came with it and I am so grateful they did! We ended up scheduling a c section two days after my last check up and I was completely unprepared.

These are literally the only underwear I owned that I could put on. They didn’t irritate or pull on the incision. They are so very soft and comfortable. I am a month postpartum,, slow recovering, and I still prefer these to anything else I own right now.

I know I would have preferred these after my natural births as well. I would call these a must have for every hospital bag!.

I just had another c section with my son and was very excited to get the neutrals set. I am currently around 140 and 5’2”, I generally wear a 2-6 depending on the brand and I get size medium. Medium works for me now in my very recently post partum state as well as when I’m my normal size (generally around 125).

Plus-size ladies, this is for us! This high-waisted underwear stays put and doesn’t show panty lines. Be sure to check the size chart and take your measurements, though. The sizing is different from regular underwear.

These fit true to the maternity size chart and don’t shrink through washing and drying on low heat. The Supima cotton is high-quality. If you wear size 18 pants, a size XL in this underwear will fit.

There is a good amount of stretch in front, so don’t buy them too big. I bought two pairs to try, then went back for more. I recommend this: buy a couple of pairs to see how they work for you, before you commit to buying more.

My biggest concern was the leg openings. Got them on sale for a fraction of the cost of underwear at a plus-size store, so I’m happy.

I wish I’d found these earlier in my pregnancy, because I’m in my 9th month now and they’re great. Ordered my usual prepregnancy size and they fit well. They don’t creep up or roll down. The waistband sits comfortably about halfway up my bump.

The front panel, that goes over the belly, is reinforced, but just with an extra layer of the fabric, so you get some bump support without feeling like you’re wearing a spandex corset or something. I got these and really want to love them but they did not work out. The belly portion was amazing but the panty portion really needs more thought. My main issues are the elastic for the leg holes are so snug.

I’m a size 8-10 and I bought XL over a L because I wanted to avoid anything to snug or pinching. The leg holes are just way too tight I couldn’t wear them without always being aware of the tightness, I even tried to snip and unstitch to get it to be more comfortable.

Also the crotch area is so cramped and small I could not get a pad to stay in place. It just kept twisting and rolling up. If the pad has wings it’s especially hard with the way the fabric is cut to put the wings down and over as well.

I was using thin always pads in size 1 (so not bulky or overly long at all). For underwear geared towards a postpartum life these just don’t cut it. It was a lot to pay for them not to workout. I will say that the materials are top notch and very well made.

Band portion that covers my c section felt amazing. If it could just have a complete redesign on the panty part the product would be amazing.

These pants are ok and generally comfy/roomy for late pregnancy. I haven’t yet tested them after C section which is what I primarily bought them for. But they are quite hot and don’t breathe so I’ve found myself back wearing my pre-pregnancy tiny pants that fit under my bump (but do roll a bit now, so aren’t ideal).

Started out with 2 pairs, got another 2 shortly after and may still buy more. These are super comfortable. Particularly in my third trimester, I’ve really like the extra tummy support. They provide good coverage and I expect they’ll be great post-partum as well.

Very supportive underwear, feels great for the first few hours. I wish I had gone for a large, as after a while, I do feel a bit constrained. In saying that though, it is easy to fold these down and I tend to do this.
