24 years ago I bought my first VF Lace Nouveau nylon panties and fell in love with them. Like so many ladies I have tried many different brands, styles, and fabrics and these are the grand champion of panties.

Though I got my first taste of nylon panties as a little boy, it was not until years later I got the nerve to buy my own and glad I did. Let tell you why I love these: very soft and silky smooth, they feel and look sooooo good on, cannot be beat for comfort, excellent fitting, never slide down and the lace adds a beautiful girly touch, o so feminine.

Since they stay up I feel very confident wearing them under dresses and skirts which feel sooooo good on. Lastly feminine pads stay in place. I have these in all colors and like so many ladies I would love to see many more colors though it would probably break the bank buying them all.

Needless I have made up for all those years of wearing their white cotton underpants. Finally the associates know me and are of great assistance in trying on lingerie and making women’s clothes my clothes.

I have many panties in my drawer, but these are my favorite and I have worn them for years and years. The quality is generally excellent. However, I have noticed since about the time that tags changed several months ago that the quality of the pico elastic is sub par.

I always hand wash and hang dry. Almost without exception, every pair I have purchased since then the elastic has started to come unraveled at the seam on the side of the leg. The pico edge pulls apart and then it travels around the rest of the elastic, I cut it as soon as I see it, but that is only a temporary fix, it will start to unravel again.

After only a few wears, the elastic gets that ratty over worn look. This has never been a problem before. This is happening on the Ravissant and the Lace Noveau nylon panties. Fortunately I have a stock of the old panties and don’t really need to purchase any new ones; but don’t foresee me making any new purchases until I see that the elastic has been changed.

I give the panties a 5 – I do love them. I give the elastic a 1. Please fix this.

I recently purchased several of the underwear. I have not worn them yet because I also purchased other alleged quality brands which I have not worn yet either; however, I have been wearing Vanity Fair since my junior high years before I could even afford them.

My gandmother would get them for me and it wasn’t long before I noticed the difference between Vanity Fair and underwear from discount places, which today would be like a Walmart. When I first started wearing them, they seemed so delicate and I thought that they would not last but they outlasted all other undwear that I had worn before and they also fit better than cheap underwear because they are cut better and apparently are made of higher quality materials.

Vanity Fair underwear were with me through basic training when I joined the Army right after high school in the 1980’s. Discout store underwear are uncomfortable and just don’t last. So really in an attempt to save money, one is losing money.

This has been my “go to” panty for years. I recently purchased the 3 pack panty (white, pink & beige) I noticed that there is now a “back stamp” instead of a tag sewn in the side seam. The elastic around the leg openings is thinner, feels more harsh and is too loose.

The elastic waistband fabric is now thinner, not as soft and it curls and folds over in half. Even tho the tag says 91% cotton 9% spandex the fabric now feels more like spandex and less “cottony. ” Now I will have to begin my search again for another pair of cotton panties especially since Bali also discontinued the Cool Cotton Skimp Skamp panty.

The same panties I purchased at department store were very nice. This order received from Walmart not so nice. Looked like they had been shoved in storage for a very long time. Each pair had different presentation.

One on non fitting plastic hanger, one just thrown in and one someone had tried to fold in what looked to be plastic wrap. Looked like material wouldn’t hold up. Washed and used as I needed them. Would not buy again.

Don’t know how long they will last.

They are pretty good. Better than what I have been able to find in several years. They are still lacking in one very important area. When we say we want “full coverage”, we want Full Coverage! Larger sized women have curves and shapes where skinny girls have different curves and angles.

Full coverage has to reach from ABOVE our belly buttons all the way down to where our legs meet our crotch. And if we are truly full figured, there is a good bit of tummy in between those two points.

Thank you for making the effort and I hope you will take my concerns to heart and size yours a little more appropriately. Going back to cotton stretch fabric was an excellent move on your part. They breathe and are healthier for us than either nylon or plain cotton.

And you need to add cup sizes in your brassieres too please.

These are pretty boring underwear. I got 2 beige, 2, black, 1 grey, 1 grey with small geometric print, 1 navy, 1 navy with geometric print, 1 light blue, and one white. The are possibly a bit big. I’ve lost weight so unsure on sizing.

They are a bit tall-definitely at waist. The side seams are set a bit forward. The crotch gusset is white on all except the black pairs, I put them on in the morning and don’t think about them all day.

Isn’t that what underwear is supposed to be?.

I ordered Hanes Microfiber Cool Comfort Brief 10-pack about a month ago and they were not the same as the ones I have been buying for years. The waistband and leg bands had gotten thicker and less stretchy.

Additionally, they unraveled after one washing and were inconsistent in size, some smaller than others. Just terrible quality. I wound up throwing all 10 pairs out. I was so disappointed. I came onto the Hanes site and discovered there are two pictures of these panties that look identical.

one is MX40AS ( the uncomfortable, unraveling ones) and one is MX40EG. I took a chance on wasting another 20 bucks and purchased the MX40EG just hoping they were the comfy ones I love. Well, they are! They are worlds apart in comfort and fit.

I cannot believe that I am writing this as I never had this happen before. I’m 74 yrs old. They are beautiful panties but less than a 1/2 day of wearing there develops a horrible odor. No discharge connected.

As I threw the packaging away after purchase, washed them regularly, and used no fabric softener as instructed, I could not understand. Please help. As I am an older person I hate to just throw them away, but that is what I will have to do if there is no solution.

These briefs are made from the softest, most supple and slippery fabric. My slacks effortlessly glide across them and that slippery feeling is intoxicating. The downside is the waistband. Other women have commented that it breaks.

From someone who purchased several dozen, I can say it’s not just one or two here and there. It’s the manufacturing facility stitching the waist too tight so that it can’t flex enough. So gals, you aren’t crazy and you aren’t alone.

Vanity Fair, would you please address this quality issue instead of IGNORING your customers? I’m not the only WOMAN telling you your have a problem. FIX IT !!!.

I have many Jockey panties in many different styles and fabrics; but these are my new found favorites! I traditionally have worn Jockey hipster cut panties and recently discovered hi-cut underwear (purchased while on sale when my usual hipsters were out of stock).

As a man I was worried about the hi-cut style and the coverage / support. No longer a worry, just the opposite actually! The fabric is silky, glides under your clothes and the material and gusset are stretchy and provide ample coverage with plenty of support.

Fella’s just watch out for panty peek above jeans, these are hi-cut therefore they are high rise. My wife had been telling me I would like hi-cuts. I should have listened years ago! Thank you Jockey for these unisex undergarments.

Comfortable underwear that provides a smooth look. Holds in without digging in too tightly. The navy blue and burgundy colours are nice. I wear a size 12 Australian in underwear and purchased the L size.

I’m so glad I found these direct from Leonisa. I initially found them at Macy’s, but when I needed to size up years later they didn’t seem to carry my size. Firm support and no rolling. The design creates a nice shape on the rear.

I purchased the dream angels lace thong, vs no show thong, and pink no show thong for comparison. The pink thong was almost identical in shape, but was notably rougher in fabric. The vs no show could be improved by a smaller logo that would ripple less through washings.

I had high hopes for the dream angels lace thong, which had excellent fabric with bonus of lace sides and everything was sewn beautifully with seamless, double lined front and back, but it had not nearly enough frontal coverage, causing horrible discomfort and I had to donate them.

(Keep camels in the desert and not the northeast united states, if you will. ) I was glad I got matching sets overall, but wish panties had better measurements in the dream angels lace styles. If more fabric was added to dream angels thongs toward the front, I would certainly buy them! I am a woman so not much more is needed than an inch.

I used to love VS no show/seamless underwear. The quality used to be amazing! I have recently tried both PINK and regular VS. Now, both of these types have very thin, cheap material and overall disappointing.

They used to have a comfortable lining of extra padding or thickness to the material around the waist band/edges. This seemed to add to the comfort and underwear staying put. They did away with this.

To cheapen it I assume. The seams used to be on the sides of the underwear. Now it is directly up the center of the butt making it feel like you are wearing a wanna be thong. If I wanted to feel like I was wearing a thong, that’s what I would wear.

Horrible placing of the seam! They were cheapened in every way possible. I really wish they would bring back the quality they used to have in the no show underwear. I would gladly pay extra for them! I think I can get better quality from a big box store.

The old design had a high 5 star rating!.

To simply put it I’m really disappointed. I’ve been a pink panty loyalist for years (Like when you could buy 5 for $15). Granted prices increase over years but now that I’m paying an astronomical amount for underwear that doesn’t last 3 months is disappointing and annoying.

I believe the new “partially made from recycled materials” fabric is a joke. All of my recently purchased panties are ripping near the stitching. It’s such a slap in the face for consumers like myself who are putting their hard earned money into ths brand.

With that being said I wonder if theses products are even being tested by the new faces of VS or are they just making changes that look good on paper with out testing the quality before mass production? I have several pairs of the original boy short underwear. I was hoping this newer version would not have the glaring problem of the leg hems rolling up. These do still have that problem. A wider hem might keep this from happening.

If you’re worried about visibility through pants because of the wider hem, the rolled hem is way more noticeable. Also, there is some weird, tiny, floppy, diamond-shaped piece of fabric that I guess is supposed to be some kind of crotch liner but it’s ridiculous.

Fully attach that thing or get rid of it completely, jeez! One good thing – the original boy shorts have a waistband that slides down sometimes and creates a pantyline below the waist of my pants. (Yes, I’ve tried different sizes.

) This new boyshort has a nice, comfy waistband that has so far stayed in place. MeUndies, for $20 a pair, you can do so much better. Stop spending so much money advertising on IG and develop a product that is good enough to keep people coming back because they LOVE it, not because they just WANT to love it for the cute fabric.

I have worn Soma panties for years. My mom and I were I. myrtle Beach last spring and these were on super sale. We must’ve bought 5 pairs each for under $5! Since then I have searched every Soma store and every so often checked online.

I was so happy to see that they were brought back!!! I will never live without these! Extremely comfortable, no riding up, soft cotton blend. Perfection!.

I would’ve preferred hipsters but these briefs are pretty comfortable! I just wanted a mostly cotton panty and this fit the bill. You can see panty lines if you wear a solid color legging but I mostly wear prints so it’s not really noticeable at all.

They are great for wearing to bed under a night shirt and working out. They don’t bunch up they don’t wedge. They are breathable and light.

I was excited to find a multipack of cute cotton undies with a little lacy detail in fun colors but after only a couple weeks of use, the lace has started to come off of 2 of the 6 pairs from this pack.

The first one I brushed off as a mistake because it looked like the stitching might not have caught the cotton and the lace. Once the second one started to come off as well, I noticed that it was more like the lace was sewn on a weak spot and just ripped.

When these are good they’re great, but if you have a problem with them they’re the worst. Ordered several pairs 2 years ago. Was put off by the price [I think they’re WAYYYYYYY overpriced], but when I put on a pair I was in love.

The problem came during the first wash. Don’t recall how many pairs I bought, but was at least 10 and during the FIRST wash I lost 4 pairs because holes up to 1 inch opened on the crotch seams. By the second wash the inner thigh seam frayed horribly.

I trimmed the loose thread and continued to wear them, but they’ve never been ‘right’ since. That being said they are a delight to wear, but I have to limit wearing them to special occasions because they are too fragile.

Very sad that the best everyday underwear only stand up to periodic gentle wear. I think I only have 4 pairs left and am considering more, but every time I visit the site I leave without buying because I have a hard time spending the money for and item that is great, but doesn’t hold up to use.

It took 1 day to go from CA to KY and since it arrived in KY on 3/23 my order went to Cincinnati, OH, then Des Moines, IA. Next it should go to Chicago then to me but it’s been in transit to Chicago for 4 days.

I tried your Cotton Boyshort for the first time. They were awful. They cut into the skin when you sit down in them. Very uncomfortable. I bought four pair so I thought I would gift a pair to my daughter to try.

She is much smaller than me so she said she would try them out to see if maybe I had the wrong size. Well she tried them and they rubbed her skin raw in the same place they were cutting into my skin.

My daughter threw her pair away and I threw mine away. Took the two remaining sealed pair to goodwill. So so disappointed after all the hype of…. most comfortable underwear you will ever wear stuff. And you made my life uncomfortable and so you aren’t making the world more comfortable either.
