Light is a perfect replacement for the florescent tube on my boat. I ran 3 wires. White works but blue only works with the button on the end. I had a custom switch cover made for white or blue overhead lights now that is useless.

So far so good. It for perfectly into my t-tops existing bracket from the factory and great replacement to the previous fluorescent light. Can’t wait to try it at night. Very easy install. I just wired the black ground wire and the white main power wire.

Two of the A4-Extreme mounted 2015 in a new Crownline. Already after only a using-time around less (!) than 10 hours one of them was without any Funktion. My neighbour in the harbour has four underwater-LED-lighs from China for 20 Dollars each.
They are working for 4 years without any malfunction. Ocean-lead promotes her product with a life-time of 40. 000 hours. The reality is around 8 hours. This is pure waste for highest prices ! Better to buy cheap chinese items.
My experience was very good. I didn’t realize at the time that I made the purchase that I could have bought the same lights through my employer which is an auto parts chain because they have an account with a marine supplier so the next three lights that I bought I paid $140 each for and I am not going to bother returning my lights for the difference but I just wanted to say that my experience with Apex was positive.
Fabulous product far exceeding the quality of anything I could fine on the market for pools. The light is exceptional. Just remember it requires DC power. It took my a little while.

Remember the light you see is *strictly* based on the clarity of your water you cruise in, do your mileage may vary.

Says it needs a 1 inch hole to mount. It only needs a. 77 hole to mount and the ones I took out needed a 1 inch hole. I received them and tried to install them and the nut on the back after I tightened it up pulled through the hole from the previous live well light.
Just be careful and do a little more research before buying.
We creatively used it as the license plate light on our trailer for our Jet Skis. We mounted the light facing the ground and the light beam washes over the license plate. IT WORKS GREAT!

Not to impressed with the kit. When I think of a kit I think it’s got all the wires needed to work. NO you’ll need a spool of wire the adhesive on the backs are crap I had to superglue 2 of the strips on.
The colors don’t match as well. The 24in strips are a blueish color the 12in strips are a black light/ purple color. I wouldn’t buy again. The only plus I have is they’re the perfect light for a deck light.
I love the lights. But this package should come with the dimmer switch like the strip lights do. No reason to pay more for the lights and NOT get a dimmer switch.
There are many different types of underwater lights for boats available on the market, and the best one for your vessel will depend on a number of factors. In general, however, most underwater lights for boats will work by providing a source of light that can be used to illuminate the water around the vessel.
This can be helpful for a number of reasons, including providing better visibility for swimmers, making it easier to see fish, and providing a more romantic ambiance on a evening cruise.
When choosing an underwater light for your boat, you’ll want to consider the type of light source, the coverage area, the depth of the water, and the power source. There are a variety of different light sources available, including incandescent, fluorescent, and LED lights.
Each has its own advantages and disadvantages, so you’ll want to choose the one that best suits your needs.
Coverage area is another important consideration. Some underwater lights are designed to illuminate a wide area, while others are more focused and can be used to highlight specific features in the water.
Depth is also a factor to consider. If you plan on using your underwater light in shallow water, you’ll need a different light than if you’ll be using it in deeper water.
Finally, you’ll need to consider the power source for your underwater light. Some lights are powered by batteries, while others need to be plugged into an AC outlet. Choose the power source that best suits your needs.
