20 Best Two Burner Gas Grill (2023 Updated)

Overpriced grill that lacks quality material. I’ve owned this for a year now and have cooked throughout the seasons. This cooks well enough, and seems to keep a decently even temperature in the middle and rear.

Though the front tends to cook cooler. My issues are with the quality of the exterior. The stainless components are an incredibly cheap form of “stainless. ” Unless you clean after each use with recommended cleaner and microfiber cloth it will stain and discolor.

Which seems ridiculous for an outside grill. Which I also keep covered. There is much better quality stainless material available and for the price, this grill shouldn’t be that delicate. The painted lid isn’t much better.

The “porcelain-enameled” cast iron grates are “meh,” they require just as much upkeep and care as regular cast iron. My issue is with how thick the grates are, it just increases the surface area that is going to stick to your food.

If they were about half the thickness they would probably be better. Overall, I expected better quality and less delicacy for the price and from Weber, though it does cook decently. For the next question on the form, “would you recommend this product to a friend?” Yes, but only if you buy it heavily discounted, it certainly isn’t “quality” for the full MSRP.

This is my second Spirit II grill. The first one was great but after 8 years of my neglect and the wet weather in Florida – it finally rusted beyond repair (although one burner still worked). Most of the rust was on the inside of the doors that contained the gas cylinder and around the small wheels underneath.

This time I bought on with the ability to hang the gas on the outside and it has 2 larger wheels on one side instead of 4 small ones under the main grill – it seems less affected by the wet, humid weather.

Its also easier to hang the propane cylinder on the outside beneath the permanent shelf on the right side. Note that only the shelf on the left side folds down. The grill starts up like a champ and with the two burners on high can reach 450° F in a few minutes.

It has enough room on the cooking grills to cook enough “meat” for probably 8 hungry people. So unless you think you will be barbecuing for the entire neighborhood – you can buy this two burner instead of the larger 3 burner.

Overall it’s a great, well made gas grill that sells for a very reasonable price. It’s also important to know that buying replacement parts and extra add-ons is easy to do either on line or at major home repair stores.

Overall A sturdy well-built grill with a unique design that allows removal from the stand for portable grilling. I don’t think I’ll find myself grilling on a mountain top off the tailgate of my truck, but knowing that I can with this grill is pretty awesome.

The grill itself heats and cooks very quickly, so much so that the majority of the time I’ve used the lowest heat setting to cook everything from hamburger patties, hot dogs, sausage links, carne asada, and fire-grilled chicken.

For those that may be more versatile in their grilling may find that the lack of an upper grill is a slight disappointment. I’ve used the other half of the grill with the burners off to get a similar result for bread and jalapeno poppers.

But after a quick search, I learned that Everdure offers a separate grill tray that covers this area. A slight disappointment to say the least. That said, there were a small number of hiccups with this grill that I’ll further explain.

For starters, I’m also aware that some package inconsistencies were mentioned in the accompanying product material, the instructions could use a bit of clarifying. Better explanations of some of the parts such as the metal rods that are apparently supposed to be bent to fit.

The details surrounding the screws that fix the grill top to the stand. This was the most problematic for me as I noticed it after I was almost done assembling and had to pull it off to confirm the pre-installed “stated” screws were in fact not there.

They came in the bag with all the other screws/washers. As mentioned above, however, there was some additional documentation that mentioned it may come in packaging not consistent with the retail version.

Aside from the instruction inconsistencies, I noted a limited number of craftsmanship issues. For instance, 1 of the aluminum legs wasn’t properly drilled to spec with the top plastic molding. It was off by a few millimeters which made assembly impossible without some modifications.

Another issue arose from the top rack which screws into the support beams that support the main aluminum legs. Another few millimeters for it to screw in properly. The last, more of a design flaw, the screws/washer combination included to hold the handle is not good.

The fiberglass washers don’t do much other than preventing some scratches. I had to add some lock washers to help the handle held in place. Otherwise, after a few openings and closings of the hood, the handle would begin to wiggle.

All issues aside, the grill is an amazing product if you are willing to change your grilling style. The option of removing the grill top from the legs to take it on the road is a huge plus. The biggest downside is the meticulous cleaning (right after you finish while still warm) required after each use.

Makes me not want to use it except for when we are grilling for a large group. If grilling a steak or 2, this becomes a pretty big issue.

What I like – heats up fast and to a high heat, BBQ plates easy to remove and clean, interior easy to clean. I liked the unusual mint green colour. What I don’t like – large gap at the back allows water and vermin to enter the BBQ (full of rat dirt recently, ugh, I now use a non stick BBQ liner rather than cooking direct on the plate).

Tray underneath is plastic. It looks unattractive and appears flimsy. Metal utensils not recommended by manufacturer (highly unusual for a BBQ). Plates are incredibly frustrating to place – I spent 15 minutes yesterday trying to get them to sit correctly and evenly.

BBQ is also extremely bulky overall given the small size of the cooking surface. I bought online and would probably not have purchased if I had seen first in store.

As stated above! Quality products (for the most part) but not worried about purchasing from WildBounds because they make it right if it isn’t JUST RIGHT!

Joi de vivre! Afgelopen nazomer kochten wij, op advie svan onze schoonzoon, de draagbare gas barbecue van het Nederlandse merk ‘nomadiQ’. Onze vorige (Cobb) was erg vies geworden en wij wilden wat nieuws.

Achteraf bleek dit onze beste beslissing van 2021. Wat een superfijne BBQ is dit zeg! We gebruiken de nomadiQ vrijwel dagelijks als we op pad zijn en koken er ook regelmatig op met pannetjes. Mijn vrouw vind binnen staan koken (in de camper) met warm weer vreselijk.

De nomadiQ gebruiken we als tafel BBQ en kooktoestel tegelijk (zie foto). Laatst met onze drie kleinkinderen naar het strand en daar de nomadiQ aangestoken. Ik ken geen BBQ die zo makkelijk mee te nemen is (over de schouder).

Met zijn 5,5 kg. en compacte vorm beschikt de nomadiQ toch over een vrij groot grill oppervlak. Je kan er dus prima met een groep mensen plezier van hebben. Al sik een minpuntje moet noemen is dat het schoonmaken achteraf.

Maar dat heeft eigenlijk elke BBQ / kooktoestel volgens mij. Tip, direct na het BBQ-en de ergste etensresten verwijderen en niet laten aankoeken.

Wat een handig en functioneel ding! De nomadiQ wordt supersnel heet en als je even niet wil BBQ-en zet je hem uit. Ik was alleen met mijn vriend dus we hebben maar 1 kant van de BBQ gebruikt. Na heerlijk gegeten te hebben op ons balkon ging het schoonmaken ook eenvoudig.

De beschermhoes erom en onder in de balkonkast. Ideaal! De nomadiQ gaat ook mee in de caravan deze zomer :-). Wij kijken er nu al naar uit om met een wijntje te BBQ-en terwijl we naar de ondergaande Franse zon staren.

When I got married and we moved into our first house (in the previous century) we bought a Genesis propane grill with a side burner. We couldn’t afford it – shouldn’t have afforded it – but we probably used it more than our kitchen oven.

And after 39 years and several sets of flavor bars I tearfully gave it to our yard guy when we downsized and moved into our current home. Now we can afford what we want and selected the Q (3200 natural gas) because it’s a Weber, it’s small, and it is compatible with natural gas.

We love it. It’s truly perfect for two people and the occasional crowd. We like the fact we aren’t heating up a big area just for us. It starts immediately, gets hot quickly, and makes everything from a sear and MOM to reverse searing at 200 degrees very doable.

I won’t last another 39 years, but I imagine this thing will.

Received the Grill in good shape. Was easy to fully assemble because of its relatively low weight, and preassembled parts. Very happy with the power of the grill. Heaths up very quickly and provides plenty of direct heath.

The only thing you have to adjust from conventional 2-3 burner grills is the way the two burners are designed. The large burner is a loop underneath the grills and the smaller burner in a straight pipe in the middle of the grill.

It takes some time learn how to let some vegetables simmer on low heath while grilling meat. There is no real area to let something at low heath. Bur overall greatly impressed with the size, low weight and cooking capabilities of the Q 3200.

We had the older version of this grill for nearly 15 years and loved it. We gifted it to the new owners when we sold our house in June 2021. Ordered the newer version and it was easy to assemble. It works great and is easy to clean.

Three things about the newer version I don’t like are the size/shape and location of the hooks and the cheap, awkward propane bottle receptacle. First, there are only 3 hooks: Hang a spatula and a pair of tongs and you’re out of hooks.

This is awkward when two people share the grill. Their larger shaped hooks prevent me from using some of my favorite cooking utensils because the holes in the handles are too small. The older version had 6 hooks large enough to handle almost anything you could hang on them but they were small enough to accept most utensils.

Secondly, on the older version they were mounted on the ends of the shelves where you do most of the food prep and they were away from the heat. The newer version is directly beneath the heat of the grill and for a tall person with long hair they are too low for convenience or comfort.

Lastly, the propane bottle sits on the receptacle and has to be strapped into place to keep it from moving about. The older version snapped it into place and you could roll it anywhere on the deck and not give it a second thought.

I really like the grill overall and I would buy another for a gift. But the older version was a better version for comfort, convenience and safety.

I used the Monument stainless tabletop grill for the first time last Saturday for a tailgate party. WOW! What a great little grill! I used it with the 1 pound propane bottle and cooked burgers and dogs for 14 people.

Gets very hot very quick so almost no waiting to heat up. I love this grill. Weighs nothing but seems very sturdy and well built! Great choice for camping, tailgating etc.

This grill is perfect for my apt. balcony, it looks high quality, it’s lightweight so easy to move around and doesn’t take a lot of space and best of all it’s reliable and it can get quite hot if you need it hot so it’s versatile – from low to high heat.

It lights up easily and works really well for a small grill. I have it set on some terra cotta tiles on top of a small patio table and it’s been a great and well used setup. Next time I make pizza I’m going to try pre-heating my small pizza steel in the grill as I think it would work far better than the kitchen oven.

I travel in an RV, and this grille is perfect for our needs. I had one years ago, it was damaged beyond repair, and I had to replace it. Unable to find another, I resorted to another brand of small table-top grille, which was not nearly as good as the Monument.

I lived with that other brand for 3 years, continuing to look for another Monument (I had thrown the original away, and couldn’t remember the brand). Finally, while perusing the Wal-Mart website, I found the Monument 19″ tabletop grille, and am looking forward to many years of excellent meals.

I searched the internet for ideas, reviews and convenience before purchasing the Fuego gas BBQ and am I happy with my final choice. The Fuego has been designed to compliment the modern way of life in a colder climate by an ex Apple product Design Engineer and it shows.

It arrived well packed and pre-assembled into 3 main components which was a cinch to assemble in 20 minutes. Being a pedestal style item on wheels, it has a small footprint which allows easy storage in limited space, yet simple to roll out for use.

Carbon and stainless steel minimises the rust threat and the twin individually controlled burner design facilitates direct or indirect cooking styles. The simplicity of use, practicality and minimised storage space made this a winner for my lifestyle.

This BBQ pushes back the winter season and extends the opportunity to have a BBQ on the spur of the moment.

Was looking for a small but powerful grill for the patio, nothing but good to say about this grill. Easy to assemble, heats up really quick, getting hot enough to sear a steak better than most grills.

The ability to shut one burner off and cook low and slow in the middle is great. Added the pizza stone kit and was able to make Neapolitan Style pizza cooking at 550 degrees, it came out great (picture attached).

The Fuego 21 really handles a lot more than I thought it would and has become our go to grill. Glad they added the hinged lid as a recent upgrade, excellent grill.

Excellent product. Sturdily built. Rapid fire up, development and distribution of heat. Great temperature control. Small footprint. Does a great job.

Okay, like many reviewers, I ageee the assembly process was unnecessarily complicated. The grill does come in about a million pieces, this is not a one person job as you will need leverage and support while trying to tighten various parts.

The instructions also have no words, only images and numbers. While the nuts, screws, etc were clearly labeled, the larger parts were not and it was a headache keeping track. Took two hours with two people well versed and well practiced putting things together.

The actual grill is so close to the flames and there is only one level for food so you will need to really watch and with the material, you’ll want to vergetable oil or Pam before you begin grilling to preserve the integrity of your food item.

This is a good little patio grill for one person, not really suitable for hosting or big meals. But when you look at the price, you’re pretty much getting exactly what you pay for, just right for burgers and dogs!.

I have been looking for a grill like this for quite some time. Something that doesn’t take up too much real estate but has plenty of room to cook plus a side burner. Overall I am happy with the product except for the side burner lid.

It goes too far back. I can see that over time it will break. I simple change of hinge design with a built in stopper or just sending a stopper add-on so the lid stops will prevent future issues. This seems to be a common complaint because I called Char-broil and the customer support person knew what I was talking about and made a recommendation of re-adjusting the screws of the lid and calling back if issue not solved.

I told him that wasn’t the issue anyway. he said try it anyway and call back. Shocker. issue not solved. Re-design the door and hinge or just put a high temp rubber stopper. Problem solved.

We have an older model 3 burner Performance series with side burner, purchased to prepare meals for 2-12 people and have been very satisfied with it’s performance and reliability in all types of weather.

The burner manifold and burner tents have been replaced once, and the cover is now due for replacement. We now have a ‘smoker’ which is also well-used for slow cooking brisket, pork shoulders, meatloaf; but to grill steaks, hamburgers, brats, hotdogs, corn on the cob, vegies, baked potatoes – this is still the go-to grill, even though it is so old it doesn’t have the infrared feature.

After all these years, with only routine maintenance, it’s still going!.

After buying many propane grills over the years, the Fuego is by far the best. The 21″ is plenty big for a 6 person family. Heats up is fast, the two element heat cooks even with precise temp.

One of the best companies that I have ever dealt with. Excellent customer service. They truly go out of their way to make the customer satisfied. I am so impressed with how they want to make the customer satisfied.

Scotty and customer service was amazing a definite asset to Fuego.

2nd Napoleon and probably my 4th propane BBQ (earlier ones were charcoal) in the past 4 decades or so. My last Napoleon (1st) lasted about 10+ years and was the 405 model (3 burner, plus rear rotisserie) — good but not the greatest (older technology).

Hopefully the Rogue 425XT (3 burner) would serve me well. Seems well-designed, easier to clean and maintain and pretty efficient in terms of features (improved), appearance etc. So far no complaints (tried a few times).

Using stainless grids for the first time. Despite Youtube *reviews* — makes great sear-marks. Easier to clean than the earlier heavier cast-iron ceramic coated ones. Waiting to try the charcoal and smoker tray (was not easily possible in earlier propane units).

Lots of recipe ideas that can now be put to fire-up! Contacted support (Napoleon as well as Capital BBQing folks). Prompt and useful feedback received. So far so good!!.

Napoleon should offer an option to add stainless steel grids without having to buy them separately for a high cost and then be stuck with an extra set of cast iron grids. Thankfully the Rogue XT model I got came with stainless steel grids and without a side burner which I didn’t need.

I’m very happy. The general quality exceeded my expectations. A few minor quirks though. Having a big round hole in the bottom of the unit for a propane tank when the model is powered by natural gas is not ideal nor is the fact that the rear panel only covers half the back leaving half open to the elements and wildlife.

All the provisions are there to fit a second panel but Napoleon doesn’t include one. Looking at photos of other higher end Rogues, it looks like they come with 2 rear panels. Again, kind of minor but a bit of a sour taste.

Impressive burners, heats up quickly. Side tables a bit small but cool they can fold down. Good looks, grill bar spacing wider than my previous Napoleon not sure I like it. Schematic assembly instructions poor visuals.

B&W photos would be far better. Large opening in back with only top and bottom thirds covered. Be prepared to clean a lot of SS. Plastic propane hose clip with no obvious anchor point. Use zip tie to opening in side panel.

I just took delivery of a freestanding 30in propane grill (L500PS-LP) and am not impressed. The assembly seemed shoddy–front doors out of alignment; battery holder hanging loose and not properly secured; loose screws and nuts in the packing material.

Design also seems to not be thought through: Nozzle to attach gas supply is very hard to reach and there’s no convenient point to introduce into the cabinet a gas supply line. I haven’t fired it up yet because I’m still waiting for a pressure regulator to be sent to me so that I can attach it to my 500-gallon propane tank.

Salesperson failed to specify my need for it when ordered. figured out I didn;t need the regulator (even though Lynx tech support said I did). Tried to fire it up and igniters didn’t work. Three weeks later serviceman came.

Couldn’t fix it said it needs a part that will take 2 to 3 weeks to get. Buying this $4,000 grill was a big mistake.

I purchased this bbq with the full ceramic burner configuration. Reading the full instruction manual taught me some valuable information about its operation, care and cleaning. The grill cooks very even and controlled, in comparison to the grill it replaced (which was a good grill, but not as high end).

I very much enjoy many of the grills features including the assisted cover lift. It makes grilling a breeze while juggling plates and tools. Installation was easy, just minor alterations to previous built in location.

Be aware that if using natural gas, a 3/4” minimum line is required. I am hoping it maintains this level of performance for years to come!.

We love this grill when it works, but the Igniter and FlameTrak system are deeply flawed. The first electrical adapter did not work out of the box. The replacement one worked for a few months and now will not consistently spark.

Such a potentially great, beautiful, and EXPENSIVE grill and it jus doesn’t work or won’t stay lit because they went with a cheap source of power supplies. It also won’t stay lit because the FlameTrak system doesn’t work properly.

Also, they make a big deal about how it is warranted for life. Only the burners are warranted for life. All the parts that never break are warranted for 5 years. The parts that do break are only warranted for 2 years, and you have to pay for labor to have it fixed after a year.

So now I have to pay a guy to come unplug and plug in a power supply, which I can do myself if I could just get them to send it to me. But, since it is warranted through BBQ guys I can’t go directly to Lynx.

I love BBQ guys, but hate this grill. Hey BBQ guys, stop carrying and selling this VERY EXPENSIVE product until they fix this flaw.

I do like some of the features of this grill, but be aware this thing runs hot. Extremely hot. Even cooking on the lowest setting, it typically burns food on the outside before cooking internally. Also, the grill grates are a horrible design.

They are not your typical grates as they are more solid along the bottom which is nice in preventing flare ups, but traps fats, juices, and food debris. This makes cleaning and burning off between uses a pain and borderline dangerous.

My last complaint is the side shelves are not that solid. Pass on this grill and keep looking. I’ve owned the Weber Spirit before and will probably drop the coin on another to get a quality grill that will last for years.

I really like the even heating and no flare-ups. It’s a perfect size for a small family. Build quality is good and it was easy to assemble. When you first fire it up, watch the flame height as you adjust the temperature knobs so you know where medium is.

It’s very close to low on the knob setting. It works great and I am very satisfied. I’ve used it everyday since I got it.

Overall a decently built product considering it is designed for transcontinental shipping and simplified assembly with minimal tools. But it’s quite evident it’s made in China. The firebox rear frame assembly was bent in transport and I had to straighten it out and touch up the black finish for it to be properly assembled.

The base is rather flimsy and tweaks the front doors’ alignment if not perfectly leveled. The wheels don’t swivel very well when redirecting movement. The warming rack rocks unevenly but I won’t dare try and straighten it as that will crack and destroy the porcelain finish.

The manual is good for assembly but pretty much stinks for use. Information is not organized well or consolidated by category. Also, there is no mention anywhere that this comes with the cast iron griddle.

I ordered one as an option only seeing it listed as an accessory and in the parts diagram. Will Charbroil own that oversight and accept a return without shipping and 20% restocking fee? Those would eat up 3/4 of the refund.

How does it cook? It heats up fast and has pretty consistent heat distribution. I measured a maximum delta of 60 degrees F between various points using a laser thermometer. I like that the cooking grate lines up and protects the vents in the heat diffuser from grease and food debris falling in.

This thing really does smoke. I read that in other reviews but had no idea a grill could do much. Vaporized grease drippings off of the stainless diffuser are more prolific than off the ceramic bricks in my last grill.

Also, and very worth noting, the flavor this imparts on the food is not what you’re used to from your typical grill. It’s not a flame broiled flavor at all. It is grease vaporized off a searing hot piece of metal and tastes exactly like that.

I’ve only cooked steaks and burgers so far and the burgers, while cooked perfectly, were not crowd pleasers due to that flavor. The steaks weren’t as tainted though They we’re my first good on this and I should’ve had it set hotter to get a better crust before hitting the internal Target temperature.

I know I will adjust to a degree but it might not be enough. I might not have bought this if I’d been able to taste test it first. I anticipate this will do well with chicken breast, fish or slow and low ribs.

Not fatty and prone to drying out. I fear chicken thighs will taste just as ‘off’ as the burgers did. I do believe I can de-rate this from the “Tru-infrared” to a traditional if we can’t warm up to it (see what I did there).

Your mileage, and preference, may vary. In summary, if I had paid anything more than half the MSRP for this, I think I wouldn’t be as forgiving. I might still sell it on that greasy flavor alone if it doesn’t improve or if I can’t adjust cooking to reduce it.

I’m optimistic but so far, meh.

This 5 burner all stainless gas grill came packaged tightly as to not allow shifting during shipping / moving box. The pieces all need to really be taken out at once though, as some parts are packaged with others that they don’t necessarily attach too, packing was all about space saving and security.

The included assembly instructions were an easy to follow picture based booklet. All in all assembly took less than half of an hour. The stainless steel finish is smooth, clean and easy to care for. The ignition system is fantastic, no long ticking, or wait, just push the button and you have flames.

The large cooking surface allows for plenty of food to be cooked at one time. The first use we cooked 8 burgers, 6 brats and 8 hot dogs at once with room left to spare. The cast iron grate is heavy duty and easy to clean.

The extra burner on the side is convenient and very useful. We put veggies on it, as the tray that covers the burner is a perfect cooking surface for such a thing. The double doors open to show the propane tank and each door has a set of “slats” that can be used to hang grilling tools.

Temperature control was simple in comparison to some other cheaper grills we have owned in the past. All in all this is a fantastic addition to our outdoor space. As a family that cooks out often, through all 4 seasons I know it will be getting A LOT of use.

I had to look at the diagrams and pictures of the user manual to make certain I was putting the grill together properly. This added time to putting it together for me. Thank goodness I was able to get it together properly the first time without mistakes.

I love the look of this grill and it feels really sturdy and made well. The burners were already installed for me and that was really nice. Plenty of storage below for BBQ tools and the propane tank.

The tray that catches the drippings and food falling through the grates is incredible. The drip cup slides into the tray underneath it and can be removed easily for cleaning. The tray itself can be removed entirely for easy cleaning.

I coated mine with aluminum foil for even easier cleaning and to hopefully prevent rusting. I have only cooked once on this grill since I just put it together a few days ago. But, after cooking some NY Strips and Sausage, that wonderful grill flavor and smell is back and is wonderful.

Still trying to figure out the hot and cold areas of the grill at this time. My last grill was a Char Broil and this new grill seems to work exactly as my last grill did. I am able to control the temperature of the grill overall around 250 degrees.

Flare ups are still a never ending issue. But, overall, I am happy with the way this grill works. I still have to play with the burners and knowing more about the cooking areas. But, so far, this grill is great and I am looking to many years of use with it.

So I bought my first Weber Genesis Grill this past Christmas to replace a 25-year old grill of a different manufacturer that I’d had since new. It was reliable as a rock, had 3 rebuilds over the years but the poor thing was ready to fall apart.

The Genesis grill was a terrific upgrade and gave me an idea of the quality of the Weber brand. We got a new travel trailer in January 2022 and we needed a reliable grill to take on our camping excursions.

Naturally, I started looking at a suitable Weber grill to fill that need. After much looking at all of the various “portable” models I decided on the Q1200 since we didn’t really need anything bigger since it’s just the wife and myself.

The Q1200 is a great little grill for our camping excursions. It’s neat and compact and it’s almost like they designed it to fit in the storage compartment of our Arctic Fox 25W camper. I did buy an aftermarket 8-foot braided stainless steel adapter hose to be able to use a 20# propane tank versus the 1# disposable canisters because of the ridiculous cost of the 1# canisters that are about 4X the cost of bulk propane.

The adapter hose still allows the use of the 1# canisters if that is what you have available without any modifications to the grill. Ultimately, I might modify the grill to hook up directly to the camper’s propane system, but that’s down the road.

The grill itself works great for 2-3 people though it loses heat very fast when the lid is opened to flip the burgers, hotdogs, chicken or steaks. You definitely have to cook with the lid closed. From my experience, you’ll get maybe 2-3 grill sessions out of a 1# canister so you’d better take several with you if that is your choice of fuel sources.

With the 20# tank it’s not much of a concern as you can lift the tank and readily tell if you have enough fuel for a camping trip. If it’s low, fill the 20# tank up for $10-$12 @ $3/gallon. Make sure you get spare aluminum pans to catch the drippings out of the bottom of the grill too.

They tend to blow away if it gets windy and they definitely are needed if you’re cooking steaks or chicken as the meat tends to drip A LOT!.

Excellent little grill for the most part, which reflects Weber’s consistency in excellent quality and overall design. The gas-control knob actually does regulate the flame very well to provide different cooking settings.

I have had other Weber grills (gas and charcoal) and they were all good investments for the money. My current purchase of the Q1200 portable grill has, so far, been a very good experience, but there are a couple of minor aspects of the product’s design that could use improvement.

First is my frustration in cleaning cast iron grates which constantly need attention to mitigate food residue and fat buildup. Coating the cast iron grates with a ceramic enamel coating only improves the cleaning process minimally.

Polished stainless steel grates, which for me, has been easier to clean, should be offered at least as an upgrade option. Second, the interior surface of the lower cook-box should be polished to a smoother finish in order to facilitate better drainage of food juices and debris to the little collection pan underneath.

Even with the current design being well-executed, buildup on the wall surfaces is still a problem. This clean-up issue has been experienced in my other grill (Weber ‘Spirit II’) as well, and may or may not be something Weber can reengineer economically.

But,. at he end of the day,. I’m still happy in my purchase. Weber continues to be the leader in grilling products. Thanks for listening.

Best feature: Curved, cast aluminum lid & body makes cleaning much easier than stamped steel with its corners & creases. The porcelain-coated, cast iron grates are also a plus–others use welded steel rod.

The grates are two-piece so they easily fit in the sink for cleaning. The fold-out side tables are handy for holding fixin’s, just don’t fold them in while the grill is hot. My unit heats up quickly to 550 degrees and cooking, so far, is very good with consistent temperature, although two burners would be nice.

I use a 20-pound cylinder, so no issues with attaching the small bottles. Other grills in this price range use low-grade stainless which discolors. check with a magnet. The burner control is easier to use than most and the sturdy structure remains solid in the elements.

My cheaper brinkman cover fits fine. A half-size griddle is available, but it’s expensive. If this table-topper lives up to Weber’s reputation for dependability, I look forward to many seasons of outdoor delights.

The grill arrived well packaged & protected. Delivery on-time. Protective cover is premium quality & is a must if you own this grill. This is the nicest grill I’ve ever seen but the functionality is ALL PRO.

Once grill is pre-heated after 10 min, cooking is a dream. We rotisserie’d a chicken on the 1st night (Med speed) & will never buy another from the Food Market. Amazing results! Normal cooking above the ceramic briquette area is impressive as the heat seems even all around, must pre-heat.

The sear station was why I bought the grill in the first place. Very impressive heat, cooking time, & results. The only complaint I have is the stainless steel grate rods above the sear station bent up on 1st pre-heat.

3 locations above the 3 pro-sear grates. Not sure if this is normal with the extreme heat but it seems to happen every time I use the sear station & they don’t return to full flat position. I would like to hear back from LYNX to see if this is normal.

Picture below shows the grill marks are off due to the steak not laying completely flat. Lastly, the lights are classy touch. Halogen lights are perfect for night grilling & the LEDs cap off an amazing grill experience.

Alway’s looking forward to taking the cover off for the next grill session.

Took a while for me to come around and spend the big bucks on this grill, and I’m glad I did. I’ve cooked on it about 5 times now. It heats really well. It’ really well made, and it just looks nice with the rounded polished edges, and the way everything fits together so well is a breath of fresh air.

I was suprised by the doors on the cabinet having magnetic closures with removeable door racks, it’s like closing the door on a new car when you use them. Just grilled pizza for lunch with the smoke box using apple wood, and cilantro lime shrimp for dinner, with asparagus.

Steak, eggplant, and zucchini, all grilled at the same time with the main burner on low and the infra red burner on high. I’m amazed with it’s versatility.

Was about to buy Sedona 36 then saw the pro 30 was almost same grill area size at a no brainier price difference. 2 brass burner combo not available on cart so called and ordered the L30CART. No instruction on assembly and Lynx service answered part of a question but assembly was easy.

Need muscle to lift grill and lower in cart if you go this way. Only way to get 2 brass + roti in the pro 30 on a cart or so they told me. So happy with this thing. 30 years grilling and a former chef.
