20 Best Twin To King Converter (2023 Updated)

This was such a game changer for my 4-year old. I will note that the “twin” part of the name indicates that there are two rails and it does not mean that it’s for a twin size bed. That’s the mistake I made.

Luckily I had not purchased the mattressbox spring before putting it together—that would have sucked. Other than that it’s perfect and I get a few more years out of it.

Overall, after hours of struggling with putting the bed together it worked, but getting there was a nightmare. First of all, you cannot use power tools for all parts of the board/bed – you are provided with the set of nails that need to be screwed with the special key – took for ever! Then, when you reach the moment when you have to finally connect the boards with the headboard, you realize the size of the nail should really be 4 inches long and you need to run to the store to get it.

I mean if you are paying $130 for two pieces of wood boards and some hardware, can this hardware be at least right sized? Some beds (the whole beds for kids) cost less than that. So be prepared to spend half a day working on this bed and you need at least two people to put it together.

The bed looks lovely now that is all put together, but I can say that even if my kid does not like the bed for the next 13 years that she is stuck with it as I am never disassembling it.

Seems to be working okay, but the fact that there are no other supports, board/frame, cross rail or middle support for the bed seems sketchy. I would prefer some middle support or something that went across the middle.

Also very small ledge that the mattress or box springs will sit on. good thing my toddler only weighs 25-30 lbs. I get nervous every time I lay on it with her (150lbs), even though it says it’s rated for 500 lbs.

Not baby tested yet as baby isn’t here yet. We bought crib, conversion kit, dresser and changing table top for our son and daughter-in- law’s first baby (due in 8 weeks and 2 days). I was so impressed as I was unpacking the pieces.

Not one piece of any of the furniture is particle board. IT IS ALL REAL WOOD! I also love the assembly hardware is bolts, lock washers, etc. (not flimsy “hardware” like a lot of other furniture has).

Thank you for making furniture (or for that matter a product in general) worth buying! Hard to find in today’s world of “disposable” products.

5 stars for customer service. Tim was great in answering our questions over the phone and we got a great price for our bundle. However, 4 stars for comfort. My husband and I bought the Split King version, which I was super excited about us controlling our sides individually.

It is super heavy, but with the help of our teenage sons, we carried it in the house and up the stairs and then my husband and I put it together in about 10 minutes. Seems sturdy, and we both love all the features of the adjustable base.

However, the massage feature is a little louder than we thought it would be and I fear waking my toddler at night. The lumbar support is a benefit that I didn’t know I really needed, but so glad we got.

The placement of buttons on the control is great, and in just a week, I’ve already memorized it for modifying my comfort in the dark or with my eyes closed. We got the 14″ mattress which is supposed to be the softest, and best for side sleepers like us.

My husband loves it (at >250lbs) and says it’s very comfortable, but it still felt like a medium-firm to me (at ~150lbs), and caused me a lot of shoulder and hip pain. I actually ended up sleeping on the sofa twice and then took my son’s bed once in the last week.

We ended up giving my mattress to our oldest teen, who is larger than me, and he likes it. Bought a different mattress for myself that conforms to my smaller frame better, and still works great with the adjustable base.

Being in a split king will take some getting used to, because we’re used to cuddling in the middle of the bed, and we could definitely feel ourselves sinking into the chasm when we tried. I wish there was a way to keep the beds connected better for those “intimate” times.

But all in all, it’s a great bed bundle for a great price.

I got a spit king and I love it! The massage feature rocks me to sleep, the mattress is very comfortable with just the right amount of support. I am a very happy camper! I did a ton of research including going in to mattes stores and trying out sleep numbers vs other adjustable frames.

This is by far the best bang for your buck, some didn’t have half of the features of the platinum base but were 3 times more expensive. I like how I can be sitting up watching TV in bed while my boyfriend can be laying flat sleeping.

The USB ports are great but a little difficult to access so use them for things you don’t need to unplug frequently. If you don’t have an actual bed frame around the bases the mattresses can slide off on the sides causing you to frequently have to straighten out the mattresses.

I plan on getting a bed frame but it is out of stock.

I purchased this bed for a 4 and 2 yr old to conserve space as they move into the same room together. Overall, I would definitely recommend with a few caveats. Pros: All real wood, rolls easily on our wood floor (my 4 year old can pull the bed out easily), and all predrilled holes lined up easily.

The 3 drawers are much larger than expected, and easily accomodate the amount of clothes that were previously in a 6 drawer dresser, so this bed essentially replaces 2 beds and a medium sized dresser.

Lots of pieces but all were clearly marked, so once everything was separated it was fairly simple to assemble (definitely a 2 person job, though). Cons: the 2 main rails of the upper bed were very bowed outward.

I suppose that comes with the territory of real wood, but it required rachet tie-down straps to pull them inward with enough force to be able to secure the mattress support slats in place. While holes were predrilled in the wooden slats, they aren’t predrilled in the rails (which, considering the bow, is probably a good thing).

So you do need to be a little handy with a drill. The bed also only is rated for 200 lbs, which isnt ideal for kids who like to have their parents lay with them before bed. Other important info: The height given for the space of the trundle bed is 11″.

To ensure plenty of space during rolling/storage, I went with a 6″ memory foam mattress also bought on walmart. com. Thankfully I did, as there is less than an inch of clearance with just the fitted sheet on the mattress (and I have measured the mattress.

It is exactly 6 inches. ) Overall, I would definitely recommend this bed and would buy it again. I could see a bed of this quality easily going for twice the price. I will update if we have any issues in the coming year.

I was skeptical about the durability of a flat-pack bed, but the reviews were good so we went ahead and ordered it. Setup was surprisingly straightforward, although it did take 3 adults plus one teen about 2 and a half hours to build it.

I think it will be a great bed for my daughter (and her overnight guests) for many years. It looks great, feels sturdy, and is a great use of space. Certainly not a jungle gym or trampoline, but a good purchase.

(I did go with the protection plan – by the time it runs out, the child will be off to college. ).

This product was not as advertised. It is not 12” high, nor 74 inches long. Rather, it is 72” long and the middle of the mattress crowns at 11 1/2” after sitting and inflating for 2 weeks. The sides of the mattress measure 10” high.

The mattress width is as stated in the description. We bought this mattress to fit on a platform frame for a full size bed and have had to place spacers at the head of the mattress to keep it from shifting.

The mattress is comfortable for a mattress in this price range. I would caution against trusting the dimensions if you have a frame that needs a mattress with standard measurements. Delivery and packaging was excellent.

Mattress was received earlier than expected.

The mattress arrived very quickly, within 3 days of purchase. I’m very happy with it so for. For an 8 year old that is 54 pounds. It unfolded quickly, so far only 10 inches as others have stated. But I went back and price checked, and the 10 inch is more expensive than the 12 inch! So I’m not going to worry about it, but if that’s important to anyone, just be aware.

I’m happy with Walmart’s return policy too. I got burned buying this same exact mattress elswhere (for more money) before finding this one a few hours later at Walmart (cheaper, and faster delivery), and can’t return it without shipping and restocking fees, so now I have two mattresses.

My other child will just get a new mattress too. I’ll stick to Walmart in the future. Would recommend.

This is our second Chime mattress, in two separate homes. We love this mattress! Our first mattress in on a platform bed and the second is on box springs. The mattresses at both locations are extremely comfortable.

We bought the first mattress because we had a spiral staircase we needed to get a bed up. It’s compact size in the box was ideal for our situation. The second mattress we drove to our remote home in the mountains, somewhere I would not ask UPS or FedEx to deliver.

So we fit it into our Jeep and drove it ourselves. The convenience, comfort and extremely reasonable cost of the Chime mattress makes it a favorite with us!.

Great product no doubt about it. Excellent sound quality. Installation on Apple Silicon Monterey MacOS was not super-easy but after following tutorial it installed and just works. I use it with Max/MSP to generate sound for live performances as I am not typical user who does some “recordings”.

Comes in as part of Core Audio devices and sounds great. It should be stated I did not need to install Luna or UA Connect which came with the downloaded DMG software package as for now I don’t need them in my workflow.

I just needed the driver. So I think Universal Audio could make it clearer in the DMG that when you just want to generate sound only driver is needed. I also don’t use the UA plugins for now as I use it for raw sound which I process myself in Max/MSP so I cannot say much about them, will try when I need them.

My live-performances will be also running at 192Khz sampling rate, as it is not a problem while using Apollo and Apple Silicon computers. Also remember that the device box does not contain Thunderbolt 3 cable.

I did not know that and had to take a trip to Apple store for the cable which was around 40GBP. I am glad I could get it from Apple on the same day and start using Apollo. Overall highly recommend the Apollo sound card to anybody who just wants top quality sound from their work, yes it makes a difference both for the artist and for the viewers.

If you fiddle within production, music entertainment, even music performance, this Apollo is definitely the one for you. It makes both your job and then output source’s job way easier. Its efficiency is amazing.

Not to mention the space grey feel of it. It completely made my productions on past interfaces seem very unprofessional because it enhances the quality of the sound exponentially. Once thunderbolt cable is plugged in, it makes it easy to set up way better than any other interface I have had.

The setting on it makes it very easy to control much less an interface with several knobs. it also helped me understand functionality of frequencies and pre amps. The software is amazing. UAD takes in capabilities that you were struggling in the DAW you are using.

Allows for virtual mixing and mastering tools/plugins.

Seems like great quality; I’d say better than Ikea for sure. Definitely worth it. Only dislike is the fact that it’s supposed to come in 2 separate boxes and I only received 1 today. Had to contact Walmart and they said we have to wait until the manufacture replies with a solution, which could take up to 10 business days.

I’m hoping sooner though 🙁 I would probably rate the bed 5 stars for quality but I’m giving 3 considering the issues as of right now.

I have been using this product in my bed for 6 months and my mattress have stayed together! I have never had to readjust this product. I was worried I would constantly have to adjust it because I’m a restless sleeper but that isn’t the case.

I would recommend this product to anyone who needs to connect two mattresses! It is so easy and convenient to use.

I finally decided on this one. It was easy to install and I loved how soft the pad is. Good quality. My Husband and I both love this product. No more arms being sucked into the gap. no separation. It’s very comfortable.

We have a condo that was my grandparents with twin beds. This solved everything. It was so good! Couldn’t even tell we weren’t in a king bed. We used it for 3 weeks and no problems. Going back next week to use again.

Fantastic value! I got this trundle bed for my daughter now that shes in middle school and wants to have more friends sleepover. It looks great in her room and assembly was easy. It can support enough weight for an adult which is convenient when her dad visits.

I been a user of the Apollo series for a few years now , I’ve owned the 6x and currently own the twin mk2 and x16 , if your going to buy an Apollo make sure your happy using Luna as your main daw , if you try and use the Apollo with pro tools you will get to much latency and other strange phenomenons with your tracks not being properly aligned.

I’ve already spent to much to turn back so I’m using Luna , only because it’s the only way I can get the sub ms latency compared when using Apollo with the econo proTools :(.

Believe the hype. The amount this has improved my workflow is incredible. The 1. 1 ms latency time coming from 8-10 ms with my previous interface is MASSIVE. Setup was an absolute breeze, the console app is brilliant and intuitive, the converters sound pretty nice.

It can be a little daunting initially but UAD has great setup videos. In particular, routing Logic’s stereo output to a virtual track in console is brilliant. It means you can re-record a vocal part and actually hear yourself without having to alter your mix whatsoever.

The built in plug-ins are no joke either. So far I’m most enamored with the Softube half-stack and the Neve 1073. The Softtube model sounds like a great old Marshall and with minimal tweaking you can get super fat, incredibly realistic tones.

The 1073 is just a game changer. My Sm7, while no slouch before, sounds absolutely incredible through the 1073. Super detailed, crystal clear, airy, just amazing. TL; DR: Buy this.

Upgraded from a focusrite pro 24 which is in itself a great interface. However the UA Apollo is just next level. The plug-ins are unmatched and the conversion is what makes this interface stand out. The accuracy in level input and output is on par with outboard gear.

Great product, not just hype, if you care about sonic quality and accuracy this is it.

I wish it had been included with the crib. I ended up having to buy the dark java instead of espresso. It looks fine just a bit darker. I put it on with no problem s. Beautiful piece of furniture. Im very happy with it.

Love this interface! The fact that it does some of the heavy lifting with processors built into the unit help. It runs plugins and saves computing processor power for your DAW to do its thing faster.

It is worth the extra money you may pay for the UA Apollo twin Duo. It’s quite and fast. Enclosed in a very durable metal box with a smooth knob makes for ah easy interface to use. I will say it gets hotter than I expected.

Not on the top of the unit, but around the vent area so it may surprise you when you pick it up after using it for a while. Also the plugins can be pricey. It comes with a handful of Compressors and EQ’s and a few guitar and bass plugins.

You can spend $$$$ if you start buying plugins. I look at it as growing with you, so go slow unless you have deep pockets. But overall this unit is very Pro! If you’re looking for a interface to use with a DAW I would recommend this unit.

Poor USB Driver support for a $8-900 price point. About 4-6ms more latency than a RME Fireface on same Audio Resolution and USB Buffer settings across the board. Also does not automatically update Windows 10 Sound Audio Resolution when you change in the Console.

You need to manually change this in 2 places anytime you open a DAW or APP. I also have to run at higher USB buffers to avoid pops/clicks compared to RME. You really need to be committed to the UAD DSP plugins long term for this to add value.

This is an excellent Audio Interface. UAD products are well known, so there’s not much i can add. I will say that if you really want Pro-Level recordings for your Small Home Studio setup, this is an excellent choice.

Spend the money once, instead of buying the Semi-Pro AI to replace later.

These plugs are designed for travelers visit China and some east Asia countries. Easy to carry and can be securely plug into wall outlet. Never visit Australia, so not sure how’s it there. But for China, it works perfectly.

All of these burned out within minutes of charging a camera battery. Not happy since I am only three days in to my 3 week African adventure. Beware, do not buy!

It’s exactly as describe and it came earlier than expected so this was great.

This travel converter is great to travel with if you take a laptop or use a CPAP. Both usually use around 90 watts and can be used at the same time. Just check your wattage. The one downfall I had was that it does not work in Capri, Italy which uses the small two prong adapter that is not provided, only the large two prong adapter.

I was lucky to have the small two prong adapter with me that came with a smaller converter I had with me for cell phone charging. I just used it and was able to charge the cell phone during the daytime when my wife was not using the CPAP.

This converter really comes in handy when you are traveling with a computer or CPAP. Please add the small two prong and this would be even better.

I just returned from Europe and have to say that this adapter was great. It handled everything. In Italy, they didn’t have many outlets, so this bad boy handled 2 iPads, 2 iPhones, and my other 2 US electrical items.

No problems at all, and it all fits neatly back into the box. The box is small and easy to pack. Now I can leave the chargers behind and just take the cables. Now I have one less item to concern myself with for overseas travel.

Corded converter allows to securely charge devices on flat surface like floor or a desk depending on the location of wall outlet. Multiple devices can be changed at the same time. NOT intended to change high voltage devices like hair irons.

GOOD for electronic devices like cell phones, photo equipment, rechargeable batteries, etc. May need to purchase additional converters depending on which country you’re traveling to.

I spent about 2 weeks looking online for sturdy bunk beds for 2 adult weight teenage boys w/o spending a fortune on custom made adult sturdy bunk beds. I was a lil hesitant purchasing these beds because all reviews from Walmart,Amazon,and the bed company itself was from parents/grandparents with young kids.

Not one review from a parent with teenage kids. Let me tell you this bunk bed has held up very well for two 15yr old boys. Husky adult weight teenage boys I might add. We put a 9inch innerspring mattress on top and bottom.

The top bunk has a sturdy piece of wood that runs down the middle from one end to the other so the slats don’t start bending but the bottom bunk doesn’t come with that piece of wood but the slats hasn’t started bending yet and I feel as though the slat boards won’t because each bunk has 14 slats under each mattress.

Like I said this bunk bed can work for teenagers! Me being 43 and weighing 175lbs felt very safe on top bunk. The bunk bed is very sturdy and doesn’t wobble,sway,or creak. We chose the grey color which the boys liked.

I do however plan to add some kind of grip material to the steps of ladder because the steps are slick with socks on. Think it’s due to the shiny paint. The instructions do need more written words and not just pics.

There is a video showing a man and woman putting these together but they don’t even speak in the video. So you gotta pause at each step. It took about 3 maybe 4 hours to put together and that was with taking a break halfway through.

Single mom with kids helping so a break was much needed during the build process. Lol. I haven’t put together the under drawers yet but plan too this weekend. I’m sure they will be just as sturdy but much easier to build.

I am a 42 yo male weighing 177 lbs who has have several invasive spinal injuries and recently purchased a TEMPUR-ProAdapt® and I could not be happier. I was a little way due to the price point but after trying out several other memory foam mattresses the price has fallon to the bottom of my concerns.

I’ve tried other memory foam mattress based off of review sites and they’ve all lasted but a few months for various reasons such as loss of support and lack of resilience to maintain original comfort, this has not been the case with my TEMPUR-ProAdapt®.

Different models I’ve tried have had issues such as loss of resilience and not retaining for even after extended time without use. Those matters lasted anywhere from 2 to 6 months but this has been a non-issue since my latest purchase.

I spend 11 hours in my bed including a few hours of watchin tv and “winding down” though there are days where I have been sick and have spend days in bed but I’d say the after 6-8 hours the density and feel of the mattress has returned.

That’s not to say that there aren’t areas that have less “give” than others especially if slept in the same position for extended periods of time which isn’t that uncommon but the same “rebounding” effect the tempur matterial continues to do as advertise and as it begins to recognize patters such as the areas and positions to tend to sleep in it may feel like there is more “give” and a loss of support this is not the case for most people.

I am a back and side sleeper which means movements throughout my sleep and I still wake up very well rested with no neck (although that requires a proper pillow as well) or back pain (lower or otherwise) making me feel amazing and instantly giving me more energy from the moment I get out to bed.

The one and only “complaint” I could have would be the firmness of the mattress but that is more of a shortcoming on my part and not an actual issue with the company. I apologize if this review has become wordy but I also hope that this helps you see the true quality of this product.

Just completed the install today and have some notes to share. For the bed itself works fine, no problem. We have a one-piece king mattress and the (split) dual foundations. We bought this for two reasons – anti-snore and for TV watching comfort.

– Slow delivery – we ordered 12/2 and it was delivered 12/22, almost 3 weeks! Delivery experience left a lot to be improved!- Delivery service will only bring it in the door – we were on our own to install it – no options here.

– The instructions are difficult and confusing, not well illustrated – written as if experienced installers were doing the work (wish we had that option. )- If you have to install here’s a few tips. — It took us three hours to complete.

— Have two strong individuals to carry and install. — Open and discard the shipping boxes. Do NOT try to move the shipped cartons – too heavy!– You will have a lot of heavy duty cardboard to dispose of from the shipping boxes.

— There are three boxes attached inside each frame. Remove the attached boxes and carry the frames by themselves. — One of the attached boxes contains the legs, the other steel frame pieces and bolts, the third contains the wireless remote.

— Plug in the wireless remotes first. — Follow the instructions in the folded card, not the user manual (which is confusing. )– Install the supplied 9v batteries while the frame is upside down, before you turn it over.

– I measured wrong but found after positioning them that our bed frame (headboard, footer and side-rails) fits around the two foundations with room to spare. We did have to remove all of the foundation framing (which was not clear in the instructions.

) Regrettably we only removed the header and footer pieces and I later had to remove the sides pieces for our bed frame to fit (you do NOT want to do that after the bed is put together as I did!)- When we sync’d the two foundations only one remote was functional.

– The foot raise/lower does not work in the app – it glitches the app. We are finding the app causes more problems and will be using the remote. – There’s a warning in the instructions not to run the motors more than 2 minutes.

The implication that the motors can be burned out. – Vibrate mode is loud and disruptive. We would have opted not to buy this and likely will not use it. I am in the room underneath and you can hear and feel the rumble of it.

Lying in the bed the vibrate mode is very noisy. – Under-bed lighting is nice. – We are using our existing mattress, which I checked ahead and as best I could determine was and is compatible. However when no one is in the bed and we raise the header and footer the middle of the mattress raises.

– Unlike the picture the mattress rails are only available on the footer of the bed, not the header. This is deceptive!- The fabric of the folding top layer wraps completely around the sides. There is no border like the picture.

– The instructions state the remotes are Qi wireless charge-able – we have not tested this yet. They otherwise are charged from a single charger cable and there was no USB option. – The 9v battery backup is in the control compartment on one side of the under-frame.

Looking at the bed from the footer the compartment for the right frame will be accessible from underneath (on your back) while the left frame will require you to slide underneath the bed frame quite a bit.

If you have carpeting or a large body this may be difficult!I will have further updates as we get more experienced using the product.

The Reverie 5D so far surpasses our expectations. Not only is it built very well, the features are perfect for our needs. We chose the king split (two twin XL bases, with two twin XL mattresses ) so my husband and I can control independently.

We are certainly glad we did because although we knew our comfort needs were different, we had no clue just how different they really were until we got the bed! This bed can be adjusted to almost any combination of positions imaginable.

The comfort level is outstanding, and the massage feature is amazing! It’s everything and more that we were looking for in an adjustable bed at an affordable price. We are so happy with this transaction, we are now contemplating buying another from Deal Beds for the guest room.

The Reverie 9T bed is actually a good product and after 18 months of owning one, I decided to submit a review. The 9T queen works great and is especially good for back sleepers. I usually set the head up at 15 to sleep and use the Zero Gravity setting for watching TV.

If you are a side sleeper, the adjustable sections may cause you to wake up with pain as your back and spine alignment isn’t good. My 9T failed the second night – bad motor for the top section. Reverie mailed me the parts and a local service firm contracted by Reverie sent someone who had never worked on a Reverie product, so I had to help and I installed the replacement DC motor.

It was an easy repair and the bed has worked well since the initial problem. The 9T remote charges inductively (wirelessly) on a pad or through a charging cable. I use the cable as the pad causes the remote to get hot.

The remote has odd issues, where sometimes it loses its link with the bed, the remote display won’t shut off and keeps repeating its boot sequence. By changing a bed position, the remote usually resets.

I tried to find a software update on Reverie’s website but other than for product info, there is absolutely no usable support. The remote battery dies in a day after charging. Emails to Reverie about the problem remain unanswered.

Overall the 9T is a great bed, but Reverie customer service is not very good, and the website is even less useful. Buy a good flexible mattress with the 9T base. I bought a Serra pillow top queen mattress and it’s great too.

I had a memory foam mattress but it was hard and just not as comfortable. Adding a good heated mattress pad really makes the bed a place you won’t want to leave in cold weather.

I got the Sealy Essentials Winter green 12 inch Euro Top Queen Mattress and love it! The got it to me right on time and the delivery guy was very nice, it was raining that day and he helped to bring it into my house so it wouldn’t get wet! I stretched out on it as soon as I got it on my platform and was in Heaven! I had my old mattress which was a Sealy for 25 yrs so I was long over do for a new one but the Sealy brand holds up very nicely! This mattress is a plush but also firm it’s like you got the best of both worlds! I suffer with fibromyalgia, arthritis, back pain and chronic pain and this mattress has really helped with all my pain issues.

It’s not gotten rid of my pain but I no longer hurt as bad as I did before. I also am menopausal and I can feel the cooling on my back when I get a hot flash! I sleep on my side as well and my hips are not sore like before! I would definitely recommend this mattress to anyone wanting some relief from pain and a great nights rest.

There’s reasons to love our new mattress and far less reasons to dislike it. We love it for its comfort, durability and quality. The unique metal border around the edges of entire mattress keeps us from worrying we’ll fall off.

We’ve slept on it since May of 2021 and fall asleep easier. We’re both side sleepers. How remarkable the mattress provides the proper amount of support for us, me with my chronic neck, back pain, and nerve pains, my husband with his chronic back, and nerve pain and painful right knee.

One issue is that my husband’s side of the bed has sagged more than is expected in such a short time frame. It began 2 months ago. The middle of the mattress looks like a little hill is there between us while we’re lying in bed trying to sleep.

My husband knows his side has more sagging than the other but said it’s still a comfortable mattress. Our 3 cats love sleeping on our comfy matress and will hog the bed while all stretched out while the kitty doses off to sleep.

I was definitely IFFY to buy a pillow top bed because they dent easier but it was the cheapest bed I could find AND supposedly these type of beds are for side sleepers(which I am) so I just went with it and wow! I’m very happy.

I had a PURPLE bed before and still love it but I would still wake up aching on my shoulders. So even tho purple bed can last longer, this pillow top bed is better for me. Only complaint is that it is light weight and easily shifts on my baseboard (thing holding bed from ground).

Super happy that my aches are gone. Forreal.

The adjustable base is not particularly magical. In retrospect I should have gone for additional features. I was simply done with bed shopping by the time I decided to buy and selected the minimum viable product.

The Zero G sounded interesting enough and thought that one single setting might suffice. As it turns out, just having some memory settings would have been better. I rarely feel comfortable in Zero G (and feel ridiculous even saying it) so I always end up needing to tweak it.

For all I know it might always need tweaking depending on how I feel that day. Buyer’s remorse: Shoulda gone with : 1. A split adjustable base. Finding a common setting with your bed buddy is usually a negotiation.

2. USB charging ports Keep in mind this thing is a heavy beast that I will never be able to move around alone. So forget renovation projects or moving to a new home without some serious help. Once you buy it you’re stuck with it or selling it off because Mattress Firm: “Will not haul it away once they have delivered it, ever” (So buy the warranty) I like the automatic adjustability of the thing but can’t really justify it beyond frivolous luxury in spite of the advertised health benefits.

Since I was making the investment, I threw in nice pillows. They’re great pillows. Outstanding pillows. And the mattress itself is simply great. The base, meh, not so much.

This base was a perfect complement to our new mattress. Being able to elevate the feet area eases the pressure on my fiancé’s lower back while we sleep. Very sturdy, and this fit right in our King Zinus bed frame without us having to remove any of the middle support bars.

We only use the zero gravity setting to watch TV, but it is comfortable both for my fiancé’s 6’1” and my 5’0” frame. It’s adjustable after all, and once you find that perfect feet/head elevation, it’s absolutely wonderful!.

I know alot of people like this mattress but it just wasnt for me. I owned the previous version of the concierge suite with the damask top and enjoyed it so much more. On this new version serta has a knit top that im not fond of.

The damask slept cooler, smoother and so much better. After a bit of research i learned that my older concierge suite plush mattress had a layer of serta support foam above the fiber pad. This model had a layer of cool twist gel foam in its place.

I also learned my previous concierge suite plush had a solid layer of serta pillow soft foam above the support foam, this version has convoluted pillow soft foam called pillow soft aire. I think the solid block pillow soft foam it used to have gave the older mattress more stability.

This newer version also has the foam encasement around the innerspring, but the traditional concierge suite ll plush did not. The traditional innerspring used to go out to the edge of the mattress on all sides and with a 9 gauge border rod, it did not have a foam encasement.

I personally did not like these changes and prefer the traditional concierge plush mattress. I slept so horribly on this mattress for the month that i had it. On a positive note, us mattress customer service is absolutely exceptional.

They were extremely kind, patient and empathetic to my experience with this mattress, and helped us find a new one we liked more, which ended up being a sealy essentials mattress.

The Serta is a nice mattress. Quality looks good. It’s lighter than my old non-foam padding pillow-top so it’s easier to flip despite not having incorporated handles. Where it’s failing for me, and puts me on the fence of giving it a 3-star rating, is that it’s a bit too firm.

It does give very good support to my lower back, so it does satisfy one of my primary objectives. It’s just too far from the plush, non-foam, surface comfort of my old SpringAir pillow-top. Presently I’m trying a latex topper on it to see if it helps enough to stop me from utilizing the one time trade offer.

That’s not looking good after a couple of nights with the topper. I’m not a fan of foam. US Mattress did provide pretty good descriptions of this mattress. And I should have paid more attention to it’s their recommendation for average side-sleepers.

But alas, I went for the support idea and am not having the type of comfortable sleep as I did on my, apparently very plush, old mattress.

First, US Mattress service is Outstanding!!! Their website is the best for information on mattresses and how to chose the right type one needs for a goodnights sleep. Their prices are great, along with their discounts too.

Second. Our “Serta Perfect Sleeper Hotel Prestige Suiter” is one Superb Mattress. So comfortable and no pressure point pains to my arthritic back and joints. We would purchase this mattress a thousand time over because it is the Best of the Best in our opinion out there, We sleep like a top and wake up feel refreshed in the morning and that’s what matters to us.
