20 Best Twin Mattress For Daybed (2023 Updated)

My son sleeps on the new mattress. He had just a normal spring mattress that we put a foam memory pad on. He was comfortable. But after getting him this new hybrid mattress, he has been sleeping better and is waking up well rested.

This mattress is so much more comfortable than any other mattress he has had. He actually prefers to lounge on his bed instead of on his gaming couch. The 8 inch thickness makes it a perfect fit for his full sized bed.

It ships so compact, but once you allow it to decompress the difference is amazing. We plan on keeping this for years to come.

I’ve been sleeping on this 8 in foam and innerspring hybrid mattress for over a month now and I don’t really love it. I think this would ideally be a good mattress for a guest room that doesn’t have visitors too often, or as a very temporary mattress while waiting to get a better one.

I do like that this mattress comes in a box and is easy to transport; after unpacking and unrolling it gets to its full size pretty quick, but I don’t think it keeps its shape well. It doesn’t feel very supportive, and it’s also not super comfortable.

I wouldn’t recommend this as a forever mattress.

Perfect mattress for my son’s bunk bed. We put this hybrid mattress on my son’s top bunk. We took it out and made the cuts as directed. Laid flat for 24 hours as recommended and watched it inflate. It is very comfortable and soft.

The only downside is no handles to move it. Not too heavy so I was able to get it to the top bunk without too much trouble. Never thought a bed from a box would be so comfortable. My son loves it. Going to get another one for the bottom bunk.

The cushions & covers we purchased for an outdoor twin size porch swing are PERFECT!! They were packaged very well, vacuum sealed so much I thought there was no way the box had everything in it, but it did! Everything expanded to full size after about a day.

Super easy to cover the cushions. Love the color, feels like it’ll be durable for our outside swing. Very happy with this purchase.

Better than expected! Would recommend! Pet friendly durable material. Do not recommend the black if you’re furniture is in the direct sun… unless you like it hot.

Very disappointed in quality of this set. Bolster and back pillow covers were too small. . I had to squish pillows into them. Material is cheap and had marks on it.

We purchased these for our 4 and 7 year olds new loft beds. Package came on time , and mattresses expanded as described. We let them sit for 48 hours prior to using. They are perfect for kids beds. A little bumpy from the springs, so I wouldn’t recommend for an adult, but the kids like them and sleep well on them so far.

The reason for 4 stars is that the box came ripped open on top, but the plastic packaging around the mattresses was intact so no damage was done. Would buy again for kids beds.

My in-laws were staying at our house for the first time and we did not have a place for them to sleep. We ended up buying a daybed and found these mattresses for a great deal. They are very sweet, but let’s say picky people 🙂 so I was nervous that they wouldn’t be comfortable on them, being that they’re just 6” thick.

I was relieved and pleasantly surprised when they told me that the mattresses were very cozy, even after the 3rd day of sleeping on them. Great mattresses at a great price!.

You will not believe how comfortable this mattress is. Kinda funny as they say it is a ninja move to open it. so make sure it’s where it is going to be for good because it does jack knife open a bit,,not scary, just funny.

Wonderful workmanship, lil pricey but worth it. No idea why the photo is upside down? Tried twice. Very high end and worth it mattress. Gotta get your sleep!.

Bought the bed online, no problem. Delivery was impeccable. I had to wait until my daughters room was finished to set it up. It was nice, allowing it to stretch out to its full size. Thing is, these doings/coils.

are garbage!! These humps and dips are an eye sore as well as uncomfortable. I’m definitely returning this!!!.

Do not buy this mattress!!! After one use it now has an indentation in the middle that won’t come out. The only person who has slept on it once was my nephew who weights less than 100lbs. Worst buy

I have two of these mattresses – the first one was purchased 4 years ago and while I don’t love the lack of edge support – I have no problem sleeping on the mattress and my wife likes it – which explains why I bought this one.

This new mattress – purchased during the 30% off sale – is way too soft, there’s just way too much of that foam mattress sinking in feeling. Plus, it’s way too hot, and of course, little edge support – as noted.

The real deal breaker is that I find sleeping/trying to sleep on this mattress to be a miserable experience. No matter what I do I can’t get comfortable, every night I’ve slept on the mattress I’ve found myself spending most of the night tossing turning trying to get comfortable.

Not ideal. Oh, and my wife doesn’t like the new mattress either, she finds it too soft and says it’s not the same mattress as the one in our guest room. Per the 100 day return policy requirements, I’ve been looking for a charity that will take the mattress and then provide documentation to satisfy the 100 day return policy.

Now I think this give it to charity approach is a lovely idea, but so far, I’ve had no luck finding a charity to take the mattress – and that’s even with me offering to deliver the mattress. The few places provided by the T&N returns team do not take used/hardly used basically never used mattresses – no one seems to want a used mattress – no matter how little it may have been used.

I’m looking at a few more places – like Laurel House who provides transitional housing for people who have been impacted by domestic violence – but even they aren’t sure they can take a used mattress.

Anyway – that’s my story/quality insight – if I can’t find a taker in the next week or so I’m going to wrap the mattress up in the big bad Home Depot mattress bag and put it out on bulk trash day – which will cost me another 50 bucks – but I’ll just put that money on top of the money paid and write this all off as a life lesson.

I’ve had this mattress since 2016. I slept well and found it very comfortable for the first approximately 3 years. For the past approximately three years, I have had trouble sleeping through the night, waking up very hot and sweaty.

I’ve thought something is medically wrong with me, but there isn’t. I’m in the 35-40 age range, exercise every day, eat healthy, and all of the labs run by my doctor show nothing wrong with me, healthy.

A few nights ago after waking up hot and sweaty for the 1000th time, I got out of bed for about 15 minutes. When I came back I put my hand on the mattress and it was hot. I started researching heat and mattresses, and discovered that memory foam retains heat, especially as it ages and compresses.

All of these nights of waking up hot and sweaty, poor sleep, thinking I have something medically wrong with me. Turns out it’s this block of foam I’ve been sleeping on. This mattress has significantly degraded the quality of last 3 years of my life due to poor sleep.

This is not hyperbole. I feel terrible for my poor patients since I’ve been grumpy from sleep deprivation. I give it 2 stars because for the first approximately years it was great and it was cheap as mattresses go.

However as it’s compressed and degraded, it’s been a nightmare. Looking for a new mattress, and in the meantime using my backpacking air mattress in top of this foam block.

I fell in love with the Tuft & Needle Original mattress when I slept two nights on one at a vacation rental. The rest is of such high quality that I ended up sleeping through my alarm, which never happens! Within a few days of being back home and sleeping awful I listed my one year old mattress from a competitor brand and bought the bed of my dreams.

I got the T&N Queen size for just me and it’s amazing how glorious each nights rest is in it! I’ve had it for about a month now and aside from it being a hot foam matieral (hence 4 stars) I absolutely adore it! Next up is to buy their pillows, because I find mixing a foam bed with other materials for the head feels off kilter.

I test drove their pillows at the aforementioned rental and they were also heavenly! Will be on the hunt for a cooling mattress/pillow cover (if that’s a thing) so I can turn my summer sleep into complete temperature controlled, cozy comfy bliss! The price point is perfect and it arrives at your door very quickly.

Don’t hesitate if you’re on the fence!.

I’m torn about this mattress and I really want to love it. The firm mattress is perfect for my back and hip that have medical issues. It did take a few nights sleep to adjust to the new firm level which does not have much give when you first climb in.

But after a few nights sleep I adjusted. After a few weeks I learned to love this mattress feel. Unfortunately I still have some concerns. Within the first 48 hours the mattress had only inflated about 1/2 way with some type of deep folded indentations at the corners.

I was concerned that it was a dud. After a few more days it kept inflating. My concern is it has now been over a month and the mattress is only measuring between 12-13′ in height. I specifically paid extra to have a 14″ mattress and am wondering if I should’ve gone with the less expensive mattress since that’s the height I’ve appeared to have received.

We purchased this in April 2021, didn’t receive until May. Before our spring mattress was springing everywhere, initially we honestly thought this to be a pretty good mattress. Move forward 4 months, we began to ache.

Tried turning, which seemed to improve for a couple of days. Short lived, since we’ve tried placing a topper, flipping every which way nothing works. We’re miserable!! Waking in pain everyday. The sides collapse when sitting.

I would love to return for a product that’ll actually last on my adjustable bed. If you suffer from skeletal, neurological or any pain this is not the one for you.

I bought this bed in Aug. 2020 but wanted to wait until I had time to really try it out before writing a review. Shipping time was average- it took about 2 weeks to arrive. I bought the Cal King size and it is heavy, so I would recommend removing it from the box and placing it where you want it to go.

That way you only have to move it once. There were no problems with the mattress unrolling and expanding. I have never purchased a mattress without trying it out first, so I wasn’t sure what to expect with this one.

This memory foam mattress is so comfortable to sleep on! It is firm yet soft. I know this sounds crazy, but it supports you while you sleep- you don’t sink into it- and it is also soft and comfortable.

I only gave 4 stars because the description says “cool to the touch cover helps keep you comfortable all night long. ” I get hot at night so I thought this mattress and cover would help keep me cool, but that is not the case.

I find it to be quite warm. To compensate, I took the thick comforter off my bed and only use a sheet. Works for me. Overall, I am very happy that I purchased this mattress. I am know sleeping better due this super comfortable bed.

I sleep on my back mostly, but sometimes turn on my side. This mattress supports me no matter which position I sleep in. I feel like I am sleeping on a cloud.

It is a comfortable mattress, and a good deal for the price. However, despite their claims to the contrary, it does transfer motion. There is one tip for new purchases: you will need at least two people to set up this mattress.

It comes shrink-wrapped inside another bag inside of a box. There is nothing on the box or either bag to tell you how to orient the mattress on the bed. Once you remove the outer bag, it will start inflating, even with the inner bag still on.

If you’ve guessed wrong and need to turn the mattress, it quickly become cumbersome if you’re doing it by yourself. Make sure the mattress is correctly positioned before removing the final wrapping.

In July of 2019 we purchased two of these mattresses in twin size for a bunk bed. Fast forward to almost 3 years later and we’ve had ZERO problems with the mattresses. No lumps, no bumps, no warped springs, etc.

My husband, weighing 210 pounds, sleeps on this mattress (in our son’s bed) occasionally due to his back and shoulder problems, and he says it’s very comfortable to sleep on. Our son also loves this mattress, so much so that I’m considering purchasing another in queen size for our son’s new queen bed.

Some of the negative reviews have me concerned, thinking that we just got lucky that our mattresses have lasted so long; but I’m still going to seriously consider buying another one of these mattresses!.

I’ll try to keep this Short. We ordered the twin size to replace an older thinner mattress. we received a twin. but it’s about 5 inches Shorter in length than the old one lol. It’s like a hobbit sized mattress.

The mattress is soft though so I guess that’s a plus. Material to make it full length must have been in Short supply. Its on a growing kids bed so we will probably have to replace it again Shortly. Its a good thing I don’t have a Short temper or this review would be Short on puns.

This is the 3rd time I purchased this very same mattress by Gold Bond in 20 years. Anyone who slept on it had a very favorable impression about comfort, feeling and firmness. I was first introduced to it by the maker of my first futon, a maple versatile frame, that followed my children to college.

Some of my guests preferred it to their $$$ home mattresses. This latest purchase is for my benefit when I visit my son family. I like it for the two foam cores and the wool wrap, which assure comfort and a generous 8″ thickness.

We got our little two year a twin bed to get him out of his crib. And let me say it was a success. ! This bed is so comfortable as soon as he touched it he didn’t want to get out anymore. It came in a box and as soon as we took it out of its packaging it filled in nicely.

Some comers took longer to fill but after a day it was fully filled Coneratone and all. It’s has a really nice firmness perfect for my 47lb toddler. Not too hard not too soft you can tell his little body gets the support that it needs without sinking in to the bed like other beds when they are too soft.

It has even improved his sleep doesn’t wake up at all at night like when he was in his crib. If you are thinking about getting this I say don’t hesitate. It’s a great purchase great material over all 5 stars.

This mattress is firm which is what I wanted. I had a soft full sized bed but when I turned on my side, the mattress depresses and makes you feel like you’re sleeping on an angle, ready to fall out of bed.

This queen size mattress is firm and so much larger. No more “falling out bed” nightmares. I sleep well, so we’ll I now gave trouble waking up because I’m so comfortable. Affordable and durable. Would recommend for anyone who likes firm mattresses.

If you like ‘‘em soft, buy a foam mattress topper. I bout the mattress and a head boarded frame for $500. Can’t even come close to buying a “regular” mattress for that price, which doesn’t include a box spring or head board and foundation.

I believe I saved about a $1000 going this way. Just as comfortable.

I would like to give this product 0 stars. I bought this mattress towards the end of May. I read so many good reviews but now I cannot believe them. This bed has sunk down within a month. When I sit on the mattress it sinks in way too quickly, making it an uncomfortable place to sit.

Some areas of the mattress look normal, and other parts look sunk in. This makes it look strange and terrible. I tried to return but it’s not easy to pick up the mattress and put it outside. It’s such an expensive mattress but such a bad product, do not waste your money guys!.

It wasn’t quite what I thought I was purchasing, but my 10 year old says it’s the most comfortable bed ever. I’ll take that! I tried it too, pretty great.

The Ian Mattress caught my eye at a friend’s house she used it as a clever storage unit for an extensive collection of placemats and napkins. I wouldn’t have thought to use the Mattress in that way. What decorating ingenuity.

Thought it was so cool, ordered an Ian Mattress to corral scarves, gloves and sweaters in what’s now my very classy looking house.

You don’t have to spend hundreds on a mattress, this is great for a child’s bed. It is comfortable and way better than we expected. Purchased in store and the convenience of it coming in a box is even better, I didn’t have worry about delivery.

Set up was easy.

great for adults because it is medium-firm as opposed to a lot of mattresses in this size which are more plush (soft) and cause you to sink into it. all the adults in my family preferred this over the zinus twin green tea 10″ foam mattress which was too soft and was better for kids.

Bought it for the bottom part of our trundle bed. Perfect!
