I had to go with Mishimoto for the fact that the intercooler is all black, there’s is the only one I found like that. A bonus is that the Mishimoto M is not visible as a result. I don’t like my car being branded by aftermarket logos lol.

Ordered a set of Raceland coilovers to replace my lowered springs which were very bouncy and my tires kept rubbing when I hit bumps. Out of the box, these were very nice and looked really good and well built.
Came complete with all the hardware and the install was straight to the point with a slight grinding mods to fit the rear coupler into the slot. Once completed, the ride quality was nice and tight! Steering response was alot better and yes it’s a stiffer ride which you’d expect to reduce the bounce.
Overall, I’m very impressed with the quality and exactly what I needed for my Civic especially at this price point.
A little skeptical at first of how the ride was going to be but after I read the reviews I decided to get them anyways and I am not disappointed. For the price you really can’t beat it. They ride smooth, I would compare the ride to stock honestly.
And the install was super easy. My brother and I installed these in my driveway on jack stands! Lol. The design is nice because adjusting them is as easy and the turn of your spanner wrench. Over im really happy with them and if you are unsure because of the price let this be you’re reason to just get them.
The rear spring perch does not fit into the opening on the lower control arm, its diameter is larger than the opening itself. In the install video, race land suggests “greasing” the opening in the control arm because it’s designed to be a “snug fit”.
You can clearly see in the video that the entire perch has been grinded down in order to fit in the opening, and is built too big. It was designed poorly and apparently quality control is non-existent.
You should not have To grind down brand new perches in order to get it to work, raceland should also be transparent and address this in their install video, rather than hide it. At least notify you at some point that modification is required.
You truly get what you pay for, the lack of transparency guarantees that I will never buy another race land product.
Full silicone construction. The 1/4″ thick fiberglass-reinforced silicone tubing is sturdy enough to withstand engine vacuum and insulates your intake charge better than any metal or plastic intake on the market.
This leads to very cold intake air temperatures, meaning a denser air charge and more overall power. Another power-adding feature is the included velocity stack. This 6″ velocity stack is designed to lower inlet restrictions and allow more air into your engine, again leading to a denser, more powerful inlet charge.
You will need a tuning software like Hondata’s Flash Pro to tune the car after installation. This kit should be run using MAP tunes only and should not be used with the factory ECU calibration.
First of all the fact that this kit comes with the Battery relocate bracket that is nicely powder coated and the silicone angled upper radiator hose should be enough to convince you not to go with Ktuned or Skunk2 (although I’m sure they are great products as well).
It comes with a reducer coupler for stock Si TBs or a larger diameter coupler for those running larger TBs. The silicone intake hoses will absolutely prevent heat soak much better than any metal piping.
I am experiencing on average around 8-10 degrees above ambient temp on my IATs in Florida which is ideal. Install isn’t anything crazy but it will definitely take a good 2 hours I would say. Will need to relocate your ground for your negative battery terminal and I believe the ABS line on that side.
Power wise there is definitely a noticeable gain over the factory air box, and of course the induction noise is increased 10 fold. Overall this is the CAI to go with, I’m glad I didn’t opt for the Skunk2 (smaller maf housing) or the Ktuned (only comes with stock tb coupler and costs more when you select the CAI option and doesnt come with a vstack).
I personally don’t see why you wouldn’t buy the Hybrid Racing CAI over the other guys.
Other than the title says the intake came after a month after ordering it. But I knew it was because of the holidays coming up so it wasn’t a big problem for me. Other than that this product wasn’t to hard to install other than a few things missing like the couplers to the main intake hose and to the coolant as well.
Couldn’t reuse anything from my stock air box so had to go to autozone a couple times. And then there’s the no sticker as well which when I ordered both my HR shifting cables and CMC it came with them but just not this intake which is a bummer since I want to shout-out HR! Literally give stickers out guys, we love you guys! Buuut other than the sticker issue the product overall I did need a professional tune after installing since i didn’t have Hondata but Ktuner.
Was driving hella lean so couldn’t drive my car til I got enough to get one. But after getting the pro tune I can clearly say that it’s freaking sick!!! It sounds and definitely gave me so much power! 226hp / 171ft/t!!! Just intake and Skunk 2 Exhaust! Not bad! And then the reason why I picked this vs Skunk2 was because it has the Hydrolock bypass invention which is the only problem with people wanting to buy Cold Airs.
I live in Oregon and it pours almost everyday until the summer, so you know I have a huge problem with hydro lock. I just wished they also proved that the intake hydrolock bypass actually works by showing a video! Was really satisfied with the product and I give it 5 stars even though the customer service wasn’t to good.
Excellent intake system for my 2008 JDM FD2R K20A. Good quality with durable parts except for the foam filter insert for the air-bypass valve. That disintegrated within 12 months. Hope Hybrid Racing can come up with a nice upgrade for that filter element.

This cold air intake absolutely blows me away. The name “Cobra” is incredibly fitting given the sound this thing makes. When I’m driving normally, I can’t really hear anything from it except maybe a slight vacuum-like noise if I have my windows down.
However, if I give it more throttle, the sound becomes much more apparent (even with the windows up), like a hissing cobra urging you for more gas. Release it early and it’ll whisper-shout “MORE”, making a loud “PSSSH” sound.
Giving it full throttle, on the other hand, will greatly please the Cobra. And when the Cobra is pleased, the driver is pleased. As the rpms and boost begin to climb, the intake will grant the driver the divine ability to hear the turbo spool and sing.
Upon releasing throttle after letting the intake complete its ritual hymn, the Cobra will let out an exuberant hiss of joy as a sign of gratitude. On top of the stellar sound of the PRL Cobra CAI, it adds some decent performance gains to the car.
Depending on who you are, you might notice the slight improvement in power. Not to mention, installing this will clean up a lot of space in your engine bay, and overall looks very good inside of it. Lots and lots of smiles with this cold air intake from PRL.
Imma be straight up. This thing is sick. However I did not have good access to lift my car so this whole installation was rough (2021 honda civic hatch sport). Funny thing is i ended up not throwing together the full cold air beings it was insanely tough to get to certain places and essentially converted this into a short ram and the mounts obviously didn’t fit correctly but with a couple bends I got it mounted well and it sounds amazing.
And looks really good under the hood. 10/10 recommend however if you don’t have access to any sort of lift either buy a jack and some jack stands or go with the short ram as the short ram is very simple to install.
Getting the old dampener (bottom of stock air intake) out was tough beings the bottom bolt is 1000x easier to get from underneath! Hope this helps someone as it was a learning curve for me.
I have confidence in PRL to provide an excellent, well built product that delivers terrific performance. This was my first time installing an intake of this style so I did have help and I recommend you do as well if it’s your first time as installation can get tricky in some stages.
+/- Fitment was overall very good. I really had to force some tubing to fit over the OEM components but that could be normal. +Quality feels A+ -Instructions could be better +Sounds amazing. I know a lot of folks cheap out and purchase a BOV however if you want the sound effect a BOV provides but safely I highly recommend this route plus, you get more HP gains.
Overall, really happy with my purchase and I look forward to purchasing more from PRL via TSP!.

Found wastegate to be too small causing bad over boosting! Removed turbo and ported rear housing as the standard passage was far too small and restrictive for the wastegate! Turbo is very laggy for size.
Very unresponsive, can’t even hear the turbo spooling under load. Technically speaking it does ‘work’ in the sense that it eventually makes boost and doesn’t smoke. The oil feed ‘banjo bolt’ supplied was a standard bolt drilled out with a cordless drill, would have likely leaked around the head.
The oil return gaskets supplied was also of low quality so did not use. All in all its a turbo for under $200. You get what you pay for. Great of your old turbo is blown and you need something to ‘get you buy’ until you can get something better.
Product that was delivered to me was exactly what was pictured, the turbo its self was good, slight play in the bearing but nothing to be too worried about. It spools up very nicely and holds boost well.
the only issue i had was that the supplied gasket for the oil drain was slightly misshaped so i had to modify it slightly to fit my AN fitting adaptor.

Purchased this vz21 turbo. Looks very well made. Quality seems very good. Update: I’ve put 200 miles on this turbo on my bike. Works flawlessly, but wastegate is not working properly. Boost is spiking well over the set limit.
Item is faulty , leaks oil everywhere. Was installed by a professional that works with turbos everyday. Internal seal seams faulty. Damaged my bike engine because of all the oil internal to combustion chamber.

The Injen IS series is a traditional underhood in take system that is placed in the stock location of the factory air-box system. Each system is built from 6061-T-6 aluminum alloy to ensure the lightest design possible.
I wanted something that increased throttle response, and more importantly improved fuel economy. I know it has helped my car be a little more peppy, and I want to say it runs smoother and is now getting a little more fuel economy.
I have had it for about a month and I haven’t filled up yet, so I don’t know for sure yet. but it sounds great! I initially wanted to get an AEM, but they didn’t make if for my HX, so I went with the Injen.
The take-off in first gear is much better and transitions smoothly when engaging cluth to throttle. The only real complaint is that it didn’t come with the right amount of hose clamps, and the directions were very difficult to understand.
Fortunately, I’ve worked on a lot of cars before and I kinda understood what it took to make it right. If Injen wants to compete with AEM and others, they need to first revamp their directions of installation.
this would alleviate much of the initial frustration of installation. All in all, I think it was well worth the cash. I think it looks great, too.
I installed the Injen IS Series Short Ram Intake today on my 2002 Civic EX. The install took about an hour and I’m by no means a professional. I love the sound it gives my off. My engine now has a deep growl to it.
The instructions were pretty good as well. The only issue with them was they would miss like one bolt on the removal of the stock intake. The instructions said two bolts when it was actually three or one when it was actually two.
Very minor issues that were easily solved because you could clearly see where the other bolts were. I just reset my trip meter and filled up so I’ll get back to you with a gas mileage update. I have noticed a little more power though.
Now my care doesn’t hesitate to kick into a passing gear. Overall, Great Product.
There is nothing wrong with this intake for what it does. A great little improvement to any vehicle. I am bothered by the fact that the picture representing it for my 2003 honda civic lx is wrong not only on this website but the manufacturers also.
I bought this thinking I would get the cast metal piece which mounts closer to the engine, allowing me to install my strut tower bar. Instead it came with a silicone elbow making the unit stick up just far enough for an interference fit.
After talking with injen support they informed me that this is a re-design and the one with the cast piece is no longer available. Should have bought this 5 years ago when I first wanted to.

Immediate notice in power! Bought for about $233 and installed in about an hour without cutting wheel base. Was a bit skeptic at first that 10hp increase could come from this only when stock, but with this coupled with my exhaust I actually don’t doubt it is at least around 10hp.
With this light of a car that makes quite a change. Plus awesome sound. Not noticing too much increase in mpgs yet but im sure depending how you drive its there.
I am not very good with cars, just starting out. But the instillation of this intake was extremely easy for me, took a little time but very easy. And I got a pretty good deal on it too! It is much better than what I expected, great sound to my civic now.
I have only had my intake installed for about 3 weeks. That being said i drive about 700 miles a week and have put enough mileage on it to notice that my car is much more responsive on the Highway, slightly less responsive when in second gear going slow and much more fuel efficient.
