20 Best Toner For Sensitive Acne Prone Skin (2023 Updated)

I have sensitive skin, but this toner works well without irritating, and I love that it has some purpose and not just water bec I also have problem skin. This toner works extremely well to clear any leftover dirt unlike my other toner for sensitive skin.

This was my first time buying at Blooming Koco and I am absolutely happy that it’s a legit and quality product at a cheaper price than usual, and they shipped fast! My go-to-site from now on.

Nice product, suitable for daily use. Does not irritate the skin, does not cause burning. It has a very light structure and its formulation is very good. I had already looked at the ingredient list and bought it.

It also smells so good.

When I was younger the doctor took me off birth control pills because I wouldn’t stop smoking. He may have saved me from getting a blood clot, but my skin broke out like crazy! For years! Nothing worked.

One night I was up late and an info- mercial came on for proactive. I ordered the entire line of product’s, and to my amazement, They worked! I used them faithfully for years after that. Fast forward 15 years.

My once oily skin seemed like it dried up over night. I no longer needed the proactive. I started experimenting with tons of skincare products, and my face was getting really angry. Inspired by ” The ordinary” I finally started researching ingredients and finding a routine to match my skin.

I find that as far as chemical exfoliants go, my skin doesn’t tolerate BHA’s. I love toner, so Glycolic Acid it is. There weren’t many Glycolic Acid toners on the market, but I noticed recently that’s starting to change.

I’ve tried a few but this one is still my favorite formula! I may have ditched the rest of the proactive line, but this toner is a keeper for me. I hope they never stop making the original because I don’t care for the plus or the new one.

I will continue to purchase for years to come. Highly recommend. I also really like their clay mask. I was running short on money one time and tried the Mario B. Glycolic Toner and I didn’t hate it, but I still prefer this.

I was lucky enough to receive this product at the perfect time! It was my “monthly” time and we all know that means hormones, stress and acne! And for me it’s the only time I really get acne but when I do I get it bad! So I was excited to out this Proactive Repairing Treatmemt Toner to the test.

I used as the final step in my normal facial cleansing routine. And I can tell you after the first day I noticed a significant different in my larger acne spots, they were starting to dry out a bit. So I kept to it for two more days like clockwork.

And by day 4 I have literally one zit on my whole face (out of like oodles of them spread everywhere). And that one just showed up. So honestly I’m shocked at how well this actually did it’s job and I can tell you even the commercials don’t do justice to what this stuff really can do.

I’d say even if you get rare breakouts or if you have acne frequently it’s worth trying Proactive. Turned this skeptic into a believer!😊 The picture i am adding to this is after 4 days of use, fresh out of the shower and no makeup or filters!!! Im amazed🤩.

A few years ago, I exclusively used Proactive skincare products and loved them for many years. My neighbor told me it worked for her and her teen daughter, so I bought it for me and my teen. I loved the products, and so did my daughter.

Fast forward a few years, and my other daughter said it didn’t work for her as a teen. Her bestie said the same. They both prefer charcoal ingredients for their washing. However, I stressed they still use an acne toner.

If you suffer from acne, this is a good one to use. If you have oily skin, you can choose an oil control one in the morning and this acne fighting one in the evening. I have a daughter with dry skin, and she still uses this once a day.

I’m 47, with oily/acne sensitive (hormonal) skin. I love anti-aging serums and creams, but my wash and toners have to be for oil or acne. I will say that I’ve found other brands that work just as well, for a lower price, so I probably won’t buy again unless I find on sale.

However, I think Walmart sells it for less now. I’ve just started buying other brands lately.

Biore Witch Hazel pore clarifying toner is by far my favorite toner. I have combination skin that is sensitive. I tend to break out easily with a lot of facial products. I haven’t had a single breakout since using this.

I love the tingling sensation it gives when applied to my face. It’s cooling and really cleans my skin. It’s lightweight and oil free. It doesn’t dry my face out. I only use it once a day because it can dry your face out if used more then once daily.

I would definitely recommend this.

For a while I couldn’t find a good toner for my oily skin, some were super drying and others would make my skin more oily. Stumbled upon this toner about 5 years ago and I haven’t needed to try a new one since! It makes my pores smaller, preps my skin nicely for moisturizer, and DOESN’T break me out.

Couldn’t recommend this product enough for how much success I’ve had with it over the years. I’m a big fan of all of the Skinfood lines, especially this one and the Egg White. Every time I use this toner my skin feels so refreshed like I dunked my head in cool water.

I am a huge fan of Korean toners and I am a huge fan of the brand Skinfood, particularly their wash off masks. I wanted to love this product because of its adorable packaging, awesome scent, and equally awesome price point, but my skin dislikes this toner, no matter how I try to convince it otherwise.

Everything about applying it is pleasant, until right after I am done and my skin feels tight and burns slightly. At first it feels very refreshing, but that tight and dry sensation comes and , even after moisturizer, remains.

Like the old school American astringents I used to use, except after a day or two, I began to breakout around my T zone. Not horrifically, but enough to stop using the product. My skin doesn’t tolerate this toner, but I still think it’s worth a shot because of the other pros.

Its harsh for myself, but if your skin likes it, then it is an affordable, cute, and classic toner. I have combination acne prone, somewhat sensitive skin and I am going to try the Tea Tree toner I recently purchased to try and get my skin to bounce back.

I am, however, curious about the BB Cream, and other products in this line!.

Y’all this was a game changer! I bought all three products in the peach sake line and wow, they worked so well!! I’ve been searching for skincare that truly made my pores look smaller and refined for ages (like since high school probably) and this trio is PERFECT.

I’ve tried products from Neutrogena to Mineral Fusion and everything in-between. Their results weren’t even close to this! I can’t stress enough how great it is to find products that finally finally work! On to the deets – The scent was nice, and the glass bottles made me feel like I was pampering myself.

It definitely smells like peach vodka/sake, but it wasn’t overpowering. A little goes a long way, and the bottles are designed so that you don’t accidentally pour out too much. Even though it’s not advertised as a deep cleaning system, I still felt like my face was fresh and clean after each use.

I used the products in the morning after my Muddy Body Pure cleanser, then went in with my usual makeup routine. Not only did my skin look 10x smoother, but I noticed I stayed oil-free much longer! So like I said, if you’ve been on a quest for pore refining skincare, look no further!.

I bought the entire Teatreement collection (cleanser, toner, and moisturizer). I use it on my chest and back which is where I get acne. In the shower is when I use the cleanser, then when I get out I apply the toner and then the moisturizer.

This is the best stuff I have tried so far for my body acne! And I have tried sooo many products. I will give an honorable mention to Glow Recipes strawberry acne serum, but Dr JART is even better because it doesn’t leave a sticky residue behind which is important for me because I have to put clothes over my target areas.

I highly recommend the entire collection. They all work so well together.

After trying many different toners over many years, I was still struggling with hormonal acne around my period. I’m talking mean, angry acne that destroyed my chin, and was only made worse after two years of mask use.

I had scars from old acne as well. This toner, after three weeks of constant use (part of evening skin care and a small dab on chin in morning) removed acne break outs completely. The smell is nice, it’s not heavy, and it doesn’t dry out my t zone.

My nose used to flake so badly I could peel strips off my nose. No longer. If you have dry skin with hormonal acne, I recommend giving this a try.

I received a Clear Genius Toner + Serum from Bliss in exchange for my honest review. It came in well packed in a Bliss box. I love the bottle. I’d say this is a no waste bottle, since as you pump on top(I use cotton squares) the residue goes right back to the bottom and into the bottle.

Just make sure that you’re using a clean cotton and clean hands, so you won’t contaminate the entire bottle for longer/lasting use. This has Clarity 5 complex, the BHA, Witch Hazel, Niacinamide, Zinc PCA, and Cica.

This is alcohol free. I love this brand as it’s clean, vegan, planet friendly, and of course crueltyfree. This product is a combination of Toner and Serum, which you can use after cleansing your face(morning & night).

It’s a flowy gel-like liquid. It’s refreshing on skin and is very gentle. Very hydrating without leaving a sticky substance on your face. It doesn’t absorb that quick, so you’ll have to wait just for a bit if you need to apply moisturizer or your make up.

In My case, I don’t apply moisturizer anymore since this once gives me what moisturizer can do. It leaves your skin very smooth. I noticed my rashes from allergies doesn’t stay longer too. I bet this is soothing my skin enough to get rid of my rashes/allergies.

A couple days of using this toner, I noticed a difference in the texture of my skin and the appearance of acne scars. Definatly make sure you read the instructions before use. The product makes your skin tingle(which means it’s working).

I have been using it daily and my blemishes are fading, my skin is smoother and my Tzone is less oily. A bonus is the packaging! The nozzle is a pump made specifically for a cotton pad ! Definitely recommend for people with acne prone and oily skin.

This product is full of GREAT natural ingredients. Left my skin feeling really nice after a long dirty day. It’s the select ingredients for me. I also love how easy it is to use. Much better than having to pour out something I never have to pick it up.

Quick and easy to use so I have no excuse to leave it out of my routine.

I’m still deciding on whether I should continue using this product. The smell is quite strong. The product smells like a load of chemicals. I used this product for a couple of days and I will say that it does balance the oil on my face seeing as I have combination skin and my T-zone is quite oily so tend it break out a lot, but my breakouts have been reduced.

I will say that the product does its job but it causes little breakouts so I think I’ll use this product once a day.

Biossance Squalane + BHA Pore-Minimizing Toner 4. 0 oz/ 120 mL I really like the Biossance Toner. but I really really wanted to love it. It is a really nice product, my only issue with it is that it can feel a little tacky/sticky.

especially if you use too much. I figured out it’s not too tacky if you pat it on your skin with a cotton pad/ cotton ball instead of sweeping it across your skin. Once it dries and I put on my serums and moisturizer the stickiness goes away, so it’s not a huge deal but wanted to be honest and let other people know about it in my review.

If it wasn’t for that issue I have with it, I would have given 5☆. Other than that, it’s a great toner! It’s alcohol free, hydrating, really gentle, no strong fragrance, clean and it contains raw White Willowbark which is a natural BHA that gently exfoliates, minimizes pores, smooths texture and help with inflammation.

This toner has definitely helped with pores. It comes in a beautiful dark green glass bottle with a gold cap. the actual toner is a light green color. I’m assuming because of the Squalane. This is an all-around great toner, I would definitely repurchase it and recommend it!.

To be honest – not a huge toner kind of gal. its hard to notice a difference in my opinion (unless its SK-II). My friend highly recommended this to me however, and as I do trust their opinions, I gave this a try.

Well, hello, Biossance! Im not a stranger to the line, but to this particular product in the lineup I am. This really turned my head after giving it a test drive. I get oily in certain areas around my nose and forehead, but the rest of my face tends towards dry and sensitive.

I used to think I needed a slightly stronger cleanser in the summers, but I think thats not the case; I think using something like this only on my oily areas will be much more overall effective. I cant stand my face feeling taut or squeaky clean, especially with aging concerns.

I dont really have a pore problem, but they do tend to be more noticeable in my oily areas; swiping this across those areas definitely left them feeling cleaned and under control. I love the scent, I love the bottle, and the brand! All in all, highly and surprisingly impressed.

I’ve been using this product on and off for a few weeks at this point and I absolutely love it! I have very dry skin that is also quite acne prone so I like using BHAs in my skincare but often find that products with BHAs are super drying.

This product feels so lovely and hydrating instead! After cleansing at night I place a little in my hand and rub it in before going in with my remaining skincare steps. It’s a very lightweight toner that has a subtle but nice spa like scent from the ingredients and easily soaks in.

My skin has never felt irritated by this product but I have felt like my skin has felt smoother and spots are going away quicker since I started using it though I’d need to use it longer term to really know for certain.

It feels gentle enough to use daily and I’m sure some people would be happy with using it twice daily! I’d say it feels much more gentle than other BHA products I’ve used so if you want something more intense that’s something to keep in mind! I know my skin generally reacts very positively to Squalane so I think that is a big part of it and may affect your skin’s reaction.

I keep going on about how much I love Madagascar procducts for their chemical free formulas, but i really do. I used this for more than a week with other procures from Madagascar and other brands. They work so well together, this is the power of Korean skincare products.

I am seeing less fine lines, wrinkles and smile lines on my face. My face feel totally hydrated. Feel better about myself more than before.

I use two different toners depending on what my skin needs that day, this one is my preferred one for when I have inflammation or an acne break out. It’s amazing at helping reduce redness and shortens my break outs.

It also controls oil. It’s not very good for hydration so I use another one for that when my skin is feeling dry. I have combo skin so I tend to be oily in my T zone.

Would definitely recommend to buy especially if you have sensitive skin. My skin does not tolerate strong acids. I prefer mild daily exfoliation and this toner is absolutely amazing for it. No scent, watery (no viscosity).

The result is brighter skin but you must wait for sure at least 1 month because of its mild effect. Definitely worthy every euro or dollar ofc. :).

i love the ingredients and ive tried alot for this toner to work on my skin but it makes my skin worse. it leaves my skin just like everyone else and takes about 5-7 minutes to absorb which is a con.

first i used to use it once in a day, that way it overexfoliated my cheeks and left it dry and patchy then i switched to using it on alternate days but after several days, it irritated my skin. back when i bought it few months ago it used to give me comedones (after the purging phase) every now and then but now it breaks me out.

i haven’t faced any acne issues since months thanks to niacinamide but few days back due to this toner ive three huge pimple marks that would take months to fade away. well ive finally decided to quit applying it for my face.

i’ll just finish it by using it on my arms and knees. i wont be repurchasing this ps ive combination skin.

Amazing products! All of them! My face feels so clean and glowing. I did not experience dry skin with this toner. My daughter loves it too. She is 16 and has occasional breakouts. Her skin is clear since using the toner.
