In exchange for my honest review, I received this product complimentary via Influenster. I really liked the whole Clairol shimmer lights professional system. This final step produced lovely results, which eased my initial fears of brassiness.

It really helped to tone the color into a cooler, smoky pearl version of what the lightener had achieved. In conclusion, I would recommend this entire system for anybody trying to lighten up their hair by several shades.

This is by far the healthiest system I have ever used at home and it’s exciting I can recommend this to my friends for over the counter purchase at Sally’s. I would definitely use this toner again. In addition the price is appealing and the results are so satisfying.

I received this product for free for testing purposes from Influenster. You have to review each step of this lightening system with all of the steps in mind. I found the instructions, or really lack thereof, to not be helpful at all.

I’ve never colored my hair in any way, so I had to have help with all of it. You also need to make sure you wear gloves or apply the product using a brush. I used my bait hands since it never said anything.

The product caused my hands to burn, and the skin on my fingers peeled for days. That being said, after we figured out how to use it, it was a fairly easy application process. I wish it would tell you how long to leave it in if you want it to be as light as possible or the opposite.

The color blended in well and turned out nice with my blonde hair. It definitely made it lighter. It seems to be lighter if I blow dry it or use other heat. I did it a month ago and the light color has lasted this whole time.

Overall, I would definitely recommend this to anyone. Just be aware of the minimal instructions, long time commitment, and that you’re gonna need a second person.

I didn’t get toning results it is supposed to do. It didn’t tone my hair (level 9) but it certainly permanently stained my carpet. So beware of towels or clothing and carpets. I don’t think it stained my platinum highlights purple thankfully, but that could be why I didn’t see any toning on the brassy parts, which aren’t bad, but more than I like.

I won’t be buying this product again. I wouldn’t recommend it either.

I’ve been coloring my hair blond for since the early 80s. I’ve bleached, dyed, highlighted and used high-lift color. My natural color is a very light golden-reddish brown going grey and it always pulls gold at the roots.

But if I pull high-lift color through my ends they go almost white. The Pearl Blonde toner evened all that out. My roots are a nice beige blonde and my ends a nice champagne/pearl and It blend in my few grey hairs as well.

I’ve NEVER seen a toner blend or color grey. I used this with a bit of the brass banisher and 20 volume peroxide on damp hair. It broke my base to a dark beige blond, blended my grey and gave my hair a nice champagne pearl color.

My hair came out perfect! I typically use Wellas T18 toner, however, I think I am going to be using Wellas Blondor toner line going forward!! I always have an after tint of purple that is uneven throughout after using T18, Im not sure why but it always happens.

This time around, my hair had no tint left behind, just a beautiful blonde color!! Im very happy! I do wish it was priced a little lower, like T18, to be nicer on the coin purse, but definitely worth it.

*I also use Schwarzkopf Blondme bleach powder which is my absolute favorite as it lifts so quickly and has been the most gentle bleach on my hair!.

I bought this a couple of weeks ago, having read the reviews I was excited. It is extremely easy to use. I applied a week ago, I added 8 drops rather than the recommended 6 as I’d put more conditioner in than was needed.

The resulting colour was much darker than expected however still a lilac shade (perhaps more blue tones than pink). It does not take on all of the hair, so mine ended more like highlights (which i was disappointed in as wanted whole hair lilac so knocked a star off), however this also happens when the hairdressers does their lilac toner on my hair.

I’ve washed my hair twice and it has faded quite considerably and the result has made the colour look patchy(so another star knocked off). The good points are it’s extremely easy to use, and much less messy than other brands.

I think it would also be possible to mix your own colours too, so I will buy one of the pinks next time and add 1 drop to see if it achieves the actual lilac tone I had wanted.

This didn’t take my hair completely platinum but is definitely lighter than it was before. I started off by bleaching my roots. The rest of my hair was a pale yellow. I used this with salon Care 20 developer and left on for a little over 30minutes.

My hair isn’t completely the same color but that is probably user error. It is mostly the same same very pale ashy color though and I like it. I will definitely try to use this again.

Anyone else like me and like to change up your hair color every few months? If you do go from dark to light this toner is great to get the orange undertone out of your hair. It isn’t harsh and it takes just ten minutes.

I follow up with the purple shampoo once a week and a good Oraplex treatment weekly as well.

I add this toner to a different brand’s pearl toner (more details in AgeBeautiful review) It gives the exact color I had in mind. The only problem is the staying power. I only wash my hair once a week but the color doesn’t last beyond one wash.

It still looks good and keeps the yellow at bay, but the initial tone fades really quickly.

I bought this product about a month ago, and I’m pretty disappointed in the color. I was anticipating a light, almost lime green, and what I ended up with was more like emerald. It’s way darker than advertised- even after diluting it 50/50 with conditioner, it ended up being too dark.

If you are looking for an emerald color, there are a few perks to this product. First, it is very long lasting: zero color loss after 4 washes so far, which lines up with my other experiences with Punky products.

Second, while it does bleed, as many semi-permanent dyes do, it hasn’t stained any of my clothing/towels. So for those two reasons, it gets a couple stars from me. Overall, while the product quality is good, it’s really unfortunate that it is not marketed true to color.

The only photos advertised I could find were on the product on Punky’s Instagram, and the photos they chose were really misleading. There are no returns, and when I reached out to Punky’s customer service to point out the difference between the advertised color and what I received, the response was apathetic.

Overall, my experiences with other hair dye brands have been much better, and I would be hesitant to purchase from Punky again in the future.

I use to use this product as a teenager when it was called Magic Silver Rose, and was thrilled when I found it on the market again. I also use the purple version Brilliant Silver White. This product blends the grey roots with my hair colour and allows me to defer visiting the hairdresser for a couple of weeks, you can choose to be light pink or bright pink, lots of fun.

My hair is super stubborn about toners and taking purples overall so I was a little wary but I have a friend with rougher hair than me who swears by this. It works better than basically anything else I’ve tried that’s non-permanent! It also smells amazing.

Given my hair stubbornness I have to leave it on at least five minutes to notice any sort of result; it’s also really drying especially to my ends which is why I’m knocking off a star. Again this may just be my hair.

Also: be sure to wear gloves unless you are cool with purple fingers.

I use this to tone my hair with every wash. I fond it most effective when you mix with a little conditioner and leave on your hair for approximately 10 minutes to obtain more pigment. The color is true to what is indicated on the bottle.

I love this product and have used it for 2 years now. Nothing I would change about it other than offering larger sizes. I would suggest applying a hair mask after the fact as it can dry out the hair.

I bleach my hair for volume more than color (ie I intentionally damage it). I also have red undertones in my brown hair. Well, I got a little overzealous with a new colorant and it came out platinum-y, brassy, and reddish all at the same time.

Crap! My hairdresser recommended this and yeay. after several washings my hair now looks like a pretty regular blonde. It is a little disconcerting to put purple shampoo in ur hair, especially after some reviews said the hue remained.

so I went slowly and incrementally. I didn’t leave it on too long until I got comfortable using it. But now I’m much more at ease with this toner and I (personally) leave it on my hair and don’t worry at all about coming out lavender.

I recently went from an orange color to a platinum blonde and i love this stuff! i was really struggling to get the orange tones from my hair, but this stuff made a WORLD of difference. It also left my very damaged hair super soft!.

I wish I can buy it in a bigger bottle. my hair had orange tones. At the same time conditioned and got rid of the orange. I love this product.

I wasn’t expecting much from this product but it actually worked, no more yellow!!!

My hair was a dull brown with orange in it from sun exposure, after bleaching my hair it came out a beautiful platinum as you can see from the photos. I mixed the silver ash blonde and the pearl blonde after reaching level 7 and 8 throughout the hair.

My hair is difficult to bleach and tone, so much so I have bought five wella t18 over the past year, two of which I haven’t used yet because the first three even failed to turn purple during the entire process, my hair didn’t tone whatsoever.

I was thinking it might be a bad batch, but I know now it was just a failure of the product to work on my hair these days. When this kit arrived I didn’t expect much from it due to the past years results.

This toner mix turned a muted brown while on the hair and the results washed out to a beautiful platinum which I’m so happy with. I will definitely buy both toners again, and mixing them the same 50/50 ratio I did to get this result.

When the plandemic happened, this product became extremely – extremely – hard to find. Prior to it happening though, I used this every month to even the tone of my blonde hair (self-bleached). It gave it such a nice pale blonde tone that it quickly became my to go to.

Other brands couldn’t compare honestly so if I were to go blonde again, I already know which wella toner I will use! Sometimes I’d use the whole bottle in one session, and then others I would pour some in my conditioner and let it work it’s magic.

Either way, this product is truly a gem!.

I’ve seen so many great reviews on this product and how it worked so well for them. First of all, some of the people at Sally’s don’t even know what they’re saying. They recommended a 20 volume but thank goodness I went with 10.

Even with 10 volume, it actually made the bottom darker and the roots lift. The bottom of my hair was green-toned, a little bit lighter and it would have been a nice color. But my roots were screwed, and I was a level 9 to 10 so don’t come for me about my hair wasn’t light enough.

I have never been so impressed with a dark hair dye in my life. I bought the juniper green and used it to dye a chunk of my hair. The texture of the dye itself is very thick, and therefore less likely to drip and splatter.

It smells fantastic, almost like something you would find in an apothecary. I had previously made the mistake of using splat and completely ruining the bathtub, but this dye took maybe a minute before the water ran clear, and what few stains were left behind came out effortlessly with a magic eraser.

Despite the lack of sticking or transferring of dye to skin, this looks FANTASTIC. The color is vibrant and absolutely gorgeous (photos of the dye itself on the website are very accurate), and while I’ve only just done it I’m eager to see how long this lasts.

Not only that, but I used this on freshly-bleached hair and the dye itself made it feel softer and look less damaged. Stunning, impressive, I can’t even begin to dream of going back. Absolutely stellar product.

This is probably one of the worst hair dyes I’ve ever used. I mixed it with the Blue Velvet because I wanted a slightly more blue shade. It came out a little dark and more purple, but that would have been fine if it didn’t get absolutely everywhere.

I dyed my hair back in August and the dye still stains everything. If anything touches my hair, it will stain. And whenever I wash my hair, which is only every couple of weeks because I have naturally coily and damaged hair, more dye comes out.

I rinse until the water becomes clear and it will still stain something later. Up until like a week ago, my fingers still turned blue when I scratched my head. And the worst part is that when I straighted the front of my hair, some of the dye must have come off because some strands turned blonde again.

I still have a full container left because I did a 1:1 ratio with the blue velvet, and I don’t know what I’m going to do with it. The only reason I gave two stars was because the color was pretty.

Dude this is the best and most coverage hair dye I’ve ever used! Even for its size, when I had shoulder length hair hardly even used a full container, now I use 1/3 for my short hair. I tried Arctic Fox before I learned about this and the color would wash out first wash! I have used Lunar Tides over a year now and I’m AMAZED at how long the color holds.

I have naturally thick dark brown hair so to use a product I can put right over without bleaching first is a key thing. Plus it softens my hair and smells good. I’ve used black, blue, green, pink, orange from them so far and I love the way my hair looks and feels and the fading of colors doesn’t look ew either.

i used two pulp riot toners and will review both here. icy worked well on my hair, which was lifted past a 10. It was not perfect however, and did not give the results I wanted. It did not have as much of a purple tone as i needed to counteract the warmth in my hair.

I have a lot of warm overall, and everything always pulls gold. Eventually, I was able to obtain pulp riot moonstone, which was a new product and not out when I originally decided to bleach and tone my hair.

 These toners are high speed, and you can apply them when your hair is wet. In fact, I encourage it, as it worked much better for me as I was able to spread the product out more. The initial mix looks beige, but the cool purple toned colors come through later ICY resulted in a more white vanilla pudding shade.

Since you should only leave this toner on the hair for a short time, you have to work quickly. Otherwise, there is quite a blue cast. I find the toner super and am really excited. After a couple of washes, the blue tint is no longer so strong but the hair still ashy, so exactly what I wanted.

this high speed toner is awesome! you mix it with double the developer. a 1:2 ratio. you can mix it 1:3 or 1:4 depending on the color you wish to achieve. the longer you leave it on, the more deposit.

I used to use Born Blonde Beautiful Beige now discontinued. This is a good alternative my hair looked lovely soft a and shiny. Easy to use. I left it on for 20 minutes, it looked nice but I already have another bottle next time will leave it on for half an hour as slighter deeper colour would be perfect.

I’m disappointed in this colour. It states it is beige but I can’t see it at all – it comes out blue/purple which just looks silver on my hair!!

My toner arrived superswiftly, thank you so much. It didn’t eradicate the pink tones entirely, they faded to a pale peach, but I was pleased overall.

I recently tried this flash toner on myself and it worked really well! I was terrified because it immediately turned a deep purple and I put it on day, but honestly it toned so well and didn’t leave any purple behind.

Have worked at a Paul Mitchell salon for 7 years, this variety is definitely my favorite, I prefer the Demi in 9pa or 10pa for most of my toning needs, but this works well in a pinch! Would recommend!

Overall good product. Adds shine and keeps colour lasting throughout treatment. Colour was a perfect match. Not many improvements. Colour and styled easily.
