i used this all throughout college and it was the BEST thing ever. i recent switched to cleansing balms because i wanted to try something new and better for travels. PROS: your makeup doesn’t stand a chance against this 1-2 pumps removed all waterproof makeup.

you can have multiple layers caked on and the strongest matte lip or eyeliner — this will take it away clean feeling afterward EVERY time CONS: traveling with this was a nightmare — you cant twist the pump closed without pushing the pump down and letting product out.

ended up putting it in travel containers, but i’m not a fan of doing so it does feel a little bit stripping, but not excessively so. i do have a thorough skincare regime that i follow to bring back moisture, though had a tough battle vs Lancome waterproof mascaras.

i did have to massage my lashes a bit. this does not melt away makeup fast like oil-based cleansers and removers do, so don’t expect that! my reason to switch to balms was because i wanted to do a little less rubbing on my face and have something easier to pack.

however, this is SUCH a solid product! i love it so much and keep some as backup.

For a face cleanser this one is pretty good especially that I can find it online or in my near store for a reasonable price. Compared to other more expensive cleansers that I have used in the past, this Neutrogena Fresh Foaming Cleanser actually works the same or even better.

To start I really love the texture of the cleanser. It’s a gel cream consistency to me that is not too heavy so when I go to message my face to clean it, it gives me a nice foamy action to help me out.

I love that while doing this, it doesn’t dry out my face. It actually gives it a nice glow and brightening action when am done. And what is best is that I can use it for every day cleanse but also to remove my makeup.

It is actually a makeup remover and cleanser in one. It even removes my waterproof makeup. What more can we ask for, right. All like I said without drying out my skin. Easy to use and doesn’t sting as well.

My third toner I’ve used over the last few years and currently the only one I’m using. Inexpensive and easily found at drugstores. A great option for a basic toner that does not cause harm to my sensitive skin.

Has a slight scent which I won’t complain it’s refreshing. Alcohol free, tones skin without stripping its natural moisturisers. It is specially formulated to provide clean and hydrated look. Mild formula purifies and gently remove impurities and recondition skin.

My Skin feels fresh and clean-without tightness, dryness or stinging. Good quantity,lasts few weeks or months depending upon usage. Great quality i have seen a-lot of improvement in my skin after using this product.

I received this product complimentary from Dermalogica, but my opinion is honest and based on my experience using this product. To be quite franc, the Dermalogica Multi-Active Toner left me very pleased.

The product is everything it claims to be. The spray applicator is very convenient to use, I don’t need cotton pads anymore, it releases a fine mist; the formula is very light and delicate on the skin offering me much needed hydration and getting my skin ready for the next steps.

I spray it on my clean face, then I follow up with my choice of serum and moisturizer. A pleasant, citrusy smell that I enjoy, good ingredients and very hydrating for my skin, this one is a keeper.

I’ve been doing lots of skincare research recently and decided that I needed to add a toner for optimal skin prep before applying my serums and moisturizer. I knew I needed a hydrating toner so I looked for a while and found them to be very pricey.

On one article I I finally found a dermatologist who recommended Dickenson’s Hydrating Toner with Rose Water and I found it on Amazon for a lot less expensive than the other toners that had been recommended.

It has hyluranic acid and pure distilled witch hazel and rose water, all of which were found to be very hydrating in my research. It also contains no alcohol. I was actually surprised when I began to use it and found the amount of dirt or oil that came off onto the cotton ball when I cleaned my skin with it when it first arrived.

I wash my face twice daily and am not really oily. So I’m quite happy with the purchase. It doesn’t have a pleasant smell though. It doesn’t stink, but it’s not particularly pleasant to the senses. However it did cleanse well and didn’t leave my skin feeling tight like an astringent or other toners I’ve used in the past.

I would recommend it if you’re looking for a hydrating toner to add to your s skincare routine.

I e really had a great experience with this witch hazel. I previously used a different toner after cleansing but didn’t really see and effects. I used to have some slight redness around just below my nose and above my mouth.

Nothing super noticeable that couldn’t be covered with makeup but just enough that it bothered me. This toner really helped and I don’t have and redness anymore. I had always wondered about witch hazel and read that it could be a little too aggressive for someone with sensitive skin so I went with this alcohol fess version and I was pleasantly surprised.

It’s a nice affordable product that goes a long way. I like to pour it into an amber spray bottle I had from a previous rose water toner and then mist it on my face and pat it in. I find when you use cotton pads as some people do that you are just losing and wasting product.

It seems pretty gentle so I would give it a go if you have some facial redness and want to try something new but don’t want to shell out too much for a special product.

I absolutely adore this toner. The ingredients are as clean as can be, it’s exactly what it says it is on the front, and I’m so glad it’s alcohol free. This is a great toner if for anyone’s skincare arsenal.

Witch hazel is a wonderful toner IF it’s alcohol free, and this one being that AND also containing rose water makes it a perfect and simple toner for balancing the pH in your skin as well as removing any dirt or makeup left behind from cleansing.

I use organic cotton rounds when applying this, and not the exfoliating kind as I notice I don’t need any extra exfoliation as this toner is also great at freeing up the rest of whatever dead skin cells may have been left behind from cleansing as well.

All around it’s better than many other, much more expensive toners and I feel better knowing exactly what I’m putting on my skin. You cannot beat this price. AT ALL, I would easily and happily pay twice this price for this quality of a toner.

My son has very sensitive skin and was prone to acne, but most acne medications dried his skin up way to much. I always use witch Hazel after cleansing my face, to remove any left over residue. So I thought, hmmm I wonder if it would help him? So to make it easier and less “girl product”, I bought a screw top reusable plastic container (the one in the photo is by Ziploc) and loaded it with a package of cotton rounds.

If you notice in the photo, I separated them and then arranged them slightly overlapping each one. This helps to remove one each time. I then liberally pour the witch Hazel onto the pads. As they soak up the liquid, you can usually get the rest of the single sleeve in there.

Make sure they are soaked through. But not leaving a puddle in the bottom of the container. Now they are great cleansing pads, but without the salicylic or benzoyl acids, that dry out the skin. The witch Hazel pads remove any left over soaps or cleansers, excess oil from sweating etc, and really do help your skin at the same time.

My son can now quickly use these pads in the morning before school, after school and before bed without his skin drying, and now his skin looks and feels great.

I have used both alcohol free and regular with another brand that had herbs or fragrance added to it. The alcohol used is pure grain alcohol which doesn’t overly dry the skin meaning by chemical means like rubbing alcohol.

Pure grain means drinking alcohol that is used as a solvent to extract the essence from the herb while soaking. Just like vanilla because there is no essential oil that can be distilled from it. This toner can be reapplied through out the day as well to refresh the skin.

Please follow the directions on the bottle and if spraying on the face keep your eyes closed while using product an arms length away from your face.

I got this for my 16 year old daughter who is struggled with acne for some time now. She has been using it for a couple of weeks now and absolutely loves it. She said it cleans without drying out her skin.

It smells great, and cleans without being to harsh. It opens up her pores and keeps her skin feeling fresh. After the first time she used it she said she wanted a subscription. I told her we can just get it at the store, and she said well go get more so I don’t run out.

St. Ives Tea Tree Acne Control Toner feels refreshing on the face and it doesn’t have a strong smell to it. It removes dirt and doesn’t feel like it is over drying or stripping my face. It doesn’t sting my skin or make my face red.

I have been using this toner for a week and my pores seem to appear smaller which I like. This didn’t irritate my sensitive skin so I will continue using it.

i had high hopes for this toner, but i was not impressed. the scent was very overpowering for me. i’m confused because the bottle says it’s formulated for people with sensitive skin, but fragrance is irritating to many people and is not necessary in a formulation.

this didn’t do anything for my skin really. it was hydrating when i put it on, but after it dries my skin feels the same (just with the sweet scent of this product lingering on my face). i did not see any long term affects on my skin.

I’m a skincare guru and love trying new things. I have a consistent well loved routine I use and have been doing so for 3 years now. I know what I like and don’t like in ingredients, what brands I love or prefer and what works best for my sensitive, acne prone, combo skin.

I stick with CLEAN beauty always and short, transparent ingredient labels lol, and this does both! I can’t believe first off how cheap this toner is with the results it provides. I’m on the start of my 2nd bottle using both am/pm daily after am micellar cleanse and nightly double clense routine and im blown away by how non irritating, non drying, brightening and hydrating this toner is! The remaining lighter, red chin acne scarring I had is practically GONE and pores less visable.

Humphreys Witch Hazel Toner with Grapefruit has some good things going on, but ultimately is not a product I feel comfortable recommending. My collective thoughts are at the bottom, but I want to talk about the good and the bad first.

The Good: The toner is silicone, paraben, dye, phthalate, gluten, and sulfate-free. It’s also vegan and cruelty-free. I love that the second ingredient is niacinamide (vitamin B3). It’s a phenomenal skin-restoring ingredient that helps with uneven skin, fine lines, enlarged pores, and more.

Aloe is another good ingredient that helps soothe and hydrate. The last good ingredient in here is glycerin, which is a wonderfully hydrating and skin-replenishing ingredient. However, that is the actual last ingredient in this product, meaning its concentration here is too low to make a difference.

I also like way it’s sealed when you first open it. The Bad: This toner is filled with skin-sensitizing ingredients. Witch hazel is the #1 ingredient here. While it can have antioxidants and be soothing, it has a high tannin content that can sensitize the skin with repetitive use.

The toner says it’s alcohol-free, but when distilling witch hazel alcohol gets added to it. Humphreys might use a different process to do this, but this is the standard way. Sadly, it also includes tea tree and grapefruit extracts, along with more grapefruit added for fragrance.

All of these are extremely sensitizing and not beneficial enough to be added in. In short: While I love the inclusion of niacinamide at such a high concentration, there are too many fragrant irritating ingredients in this product for me to feel comfortable adding it to my daily routine.

Humphreys recharge Witch hazel with grapefruit alcohol free toner is the first toner I tried which has- *witch hazel *grapefruit *no alcohol I wasn’t sure what to expect from it. I was impressed with its label information.

Toner is supposed to help to balance the ph level of the skin, nowadays we see toner for all kind of skincare from hydration to toner that comes with glycolic salicylic acids for oily skin. You can choose them as per your skin needs.

Pro-tip- always do a patch test on small portion of your skin before using/trying any new products. This is the best way to make sure you don’t have any adverse reaction to that product or with any product ingredient.

I first want to clarify that while this contains organic witch hazel this product is NOT totally organic nor does it claim to be! I have added a photo of the ingredients list for people to consider. I also want to say (because of all of the reviews I see), that toners are intended to be used prior to moisturizing.

It is normal and expected that you need to moisturize after using this product, but in any case you should be moisturizing every time you clean your face unless you want your skin to create more oil to compensate! This goes for all skin types.

Now for my review of the product itself: I love witch hazel. I love grapefruit. These scents do terribly together in my opinion. So bad I gagged the first time and now hold my breath upon application.

The smell reminds me of the cheap hand sanitizers that are around now that smell like terrible tequila. They’re specifically sending out a scented product and this is what they think passes? The normal organic witch hazel they offer smells far better.

While that alone would prevent me from ever buying this particular bottle, the smell is my only qualm with this product! It does well with my combination skin and the bottle is very pretty! The little tab to open a small hole is awesome too because I can control how much product comes out much more easily, leading me to waste less.

It’ll probably last a long time but maybe I’ll consider trying the cucumber scent when I need a new toner, though I’m worried about similar issues with the smell now and am familiar with brands that smell far better and work just as well.

I was gifted this product from Bliss to review. Prior to receiving the Clear Genius Clarifying Toner + Serum, I had mainly used witch hazel or astringent type of toners. I always liked that dry but hydrated feel after using those toners so I was very curious to see how this one held up.

First, I love a product that is multi-functional, and this serum and toner combo is perfect. Second, there is still witch hazel in the toner, but the smell is very mild. Much different than my usual liquid toners.

Third, the texture is gel-like, but very soft and non-sticky. It took me a little bit to get used to the top dispensing system, but once I did it is an ingenious detail to this product. One of my favorite things about Bliss is that they seem to really consider the consumer when creating their packaging and products.

They feel very attainable and luxurious for the middle-class working person or stay-at-home parent or anything in between. Lastly, this product works! I do not have consistent breakouts, but here and there, (especially in the summer heat) I will get a pimple or two that will pop up every so often.

When that happens I use this product both morning and night and within 24-48 hours the pimple is gone! My teenage self would have bought this product in bulk had it been available in the early 2000’s.

This is a great product for acne prone skin or skin that gets breakouts here and there.

This toner serum is such a genius idea and I’ve never tried anything even close to it before! My first and ONLY downfall is this is not meant to be applied with a cotton ball or pad due to its more serum-like texture.

It’s very gel-like which isn’t a problem, but it doesn’t absorb at all unless applied with the hands. Once you’re used to that, then this toner serum is amazing! It doesn’t leave a sticky residue behind especially as a hybrid product and its super lightweight.

I enjoy the almost minty, but not strong scent and appreciate the pump top dispenser to keep the ingredients protected & keep the user from making the product unhygienic. I also love the flip top cap.

As someone who’s blemish prone, I appreciate this product and the ingredients so much. I use Witch Hazel in most of my toners as well as Niacinamide to fade pesky dark spots, scarring and pigmentation in my serums.

I love the added cica which I’ve recently started using hearing how great it is for oily & blemish prone skin as well as the tea tree and Centella Extracts.

I really like this toner. I’ve tried a lot of products to help my pores and they either didn’t work or really dried out and irritated my skin. This is the only product I have used that has noticeably reduced the size of my pores while not drying out my skin.

I use this with a vitamin C serum and moisturizer as well so it is likely a combination of the products but it definitely seems to be doing the job. It’s also relatively cheap. It took about two weeks of applying twice a day for me to see a difference but my skin looks and feels significantly different and healthier now.

I highly recommend this product to anyone looking for an effective skincare product for low cost!.

I just love the CeraVe Hydrating Toner! It definitely stays true to the name. I have never tried such an amazing, hydrating toner! I loved that it was not greasy on my skin. It is also nice that it is fragrance free and pH balanced.

After just one use, it made my skin look so healthy that it was glowing! I definitely will buy this product and highly recommend to anyone, especially people with dry skin. It is quite impressive how hydrating this product is without clogging the pores or leaving a greasy residue.

This works pretty well. A little of CeraVe’s products go a very long way for me. Less is definitely more when it comes to this brand. You don’t need much. This rebalances the skin & kind of immediately throws hydration back into your skin after cleansing.

I rinse my face with water in the am (since i don’t sweat in my sleep & i go to sleep with clean skin), apply this & moisturize. Honestly, really glad I’m starting to switch my entire skincare/bodycare routine to all cerave products.

This brand is helping me realize that if you drink enough water, use spf & take care of your skin. you don’t need to use a ton of products. Only use what you need until you need more. Try it! You may find that you don’t even need to use a toner twice a day or every single day.

Best Toner Ever!! So I have combination as well as very sensitive skin. For a while I have been looking for a good toner that doesn’t leave a burning sensation after use, or after a few days of use, as well as a toner that helps to keep my skin clear and refreshed.

Well this is just one epic toner! This toner does not make my skin as red as a tomato, its gentle and doesn’t irritate my sensitive skin either, and I can definitely tell the toner is hydrating as well! It did take me like 2 weeks to begin to see results after using it ever night, but this product is so good it was worth the wait! I also love that this toner leaves my skin feeling refreshed and clean! This product is totally worth it!.

This is the only toner that my face likes, lol. I’ve been using this twice a day for 2 weeks now, and It made my skin very hydrating and glowing. The texture is viscous and the consistency is not thick nor oily.

i’m filipino, 25 y/o, oily in my t zone and normal everywhere else on my face, if i have breakouts they’re usually near my temples, i also weigh 115 lbs so i drink 115oz of water every day. i’ve used so many different toners (witch hazel, tatcha, proactiv, brand name to drugstore, etc.

you name it) and this is the only toner i swear by! after my face wash i spray six pumps onto a cotton round (i actually just got reusable cloth rounds!) and lightly apply all over my face, then my spf moisturizer in the morning (or use my moisturizer with no spf at night).

this toner absorbs quickly, doesn’t leave a film on my face, leaves my skin feeling fresh and clean, and gets rid of any excess sebum on my skin leaving it matte, but still feeling hydrated. i also love that there’s almost no smell to it (i hate fragrant face products!).

overall 10/10, have been using it for i think four or five years now and swear by it. will never use another toner! only downside is that it’s been getting harder and harder for me to find in drugstores or at my target store so i’ve resorted to ordering through amazon.

Speaking of the toner. I’m glad there’s no alcohol in it so I can avoid that burnt sensation after washing my face and applying the next product. Complements the cleanser really well wiping off the extra grime that i could’ve missed from the washing.

I can tell gets the job done because I actually love the soothing feeling. My face looks super refreshed and that feeling is amazing. Mattifies my skin and also helps with acne. This toner is great for the price point and has some simple hydrating ingredients that everyone can benefit from. Theres no fragrance and it’s a nice thin texture that the skin will drink up quickly.

All the other serums you use after using the toner will also soak into your skin much better and quicker. I gave it four stars because I really do like it and can’t find anything wrong with it all. I didn’t give it 5 stars only because I like to spend more $$ on my skincare and i don’t mind paying a pretty penny for a more intricate formula.

I’m not saying only expensive skincare works, but you can spend a little more to get more from your skincare products with higher concentrations in the ingredients. I have other toners already that I love and enjoy using more over this one.

But I have used this toner on days when I’m too lazy to grab my other skincare products and it works just fine. Super fresh feeling and doesn’t irritate the skin. I recommend if you’re looking for a basic toner on a budget with sensitive skin!.

I tried the SuperBloom products for a week, morning and night. I absolutely love the look of the products, which may not matter to some but it makes me want to use them! My nightly routine was Daily Dew Cleansing Oil, rinse off in shower, then apply Bounce Bak Bakuchiol Serum, Reviving Skin Soak Mist, and lastly the Illuminating Gel Moisturizer.

My morning routine was the same except I would rinse off the oil with a wet washcloth and I left out the Bounce Bak, per the instructions of only applying at night. The products feel great on. The oil isn’t too oily.

The smell is neutral to me – it does have a scent but it isn’t really good or bad. I have “normal” skin, not dry or oily, with some acne around my jawline and redness in my cheeks. I can’t say that I notice a big difference in the appearance of my skin after one week with the products.

I was a little perplexed by this hydrating mist. I originally used it as a toner after cleansing my skin but it didn’t provide enough moisturizing benefits for my skin to be used in that way. I then used it as a facial mist in the middle of the day.

While that was refreshing, I wouldn’t exactly call it hydrating. I love the smell of this mist – a bit like rose water but not overwhelming. It feels very pleasant on the skin and was not at all irritating to my sometimes sensitive skin.

However, I didn’t see any hydrating or moisturizing benefits from it at all. I think this could be a great mist for folks who have combination or oily skin who want something lightly refreshing but don’t need a more concentrated hydrator.

I got this product in a BoxyCharm and decided to try it out after my previous hydrating toner ran out, thinking that this wouldn’t irritate my skin because this was labeled a “hydrating toner. ” Within a week I began getting very painful cystic breakouts that I normally only get due to stress, which is what I chalked it up to at the time.

However, as the second week went by I noticed that my normally oily face was consistently dry and would even burn when putting on my phyto or hyaluronic serum after the toner, which has only happened when there has been trauma to my skin (like a chemical peel).

I immediately stopped using and checked the ingredients and saw witch hazel is one of the first listed and knew that was the problem, as witch hazel dries out your skin. This was actually really upsetting to me because the bottle is labeled as hydrating, the details on Sephora only talk about it being hydrating and don’t mention witch hazel, and when you do check the ingredients the key ones listed also don’t include witch hazel! The only way you are aware of this is if you actually read the ingredient list and see it there at the top.

I naively used this without checking what was in it but it also seems like this product was marketed as something it’s not. As soon as I stopped using this my skin began to recover and go back to normal.

Not only does this actually help clean my face but it hydrates it instead of drying it like most toners do. Again I love the design of this, makes it easy to use and actually want to use. Most toners have a hole and you dab on a cotton round or ball or whatever.

Making it a pain and more likely to skip in your routine. Not this design, I’m keeping the bottle after I use it to pour my others in it.

This toner is lovely. The packaging gives it a premium look and feel. Cardboard outer sleeve, then inside the bottle itself is really well made too. The screw top is mostly circular, but has a very slight triangular shape to make it easy to grip.

Unscrew that and you only need to tip it upside down and the toner drips out of a smallish hole in tip of the neck part. Super easy to use! You can either put it onto a cotton pad or just the palm of your hand (as I do) and then onto your face.

The texture is similar to water. It has a lovely fresh, light scent to it that is not overpowering at all. It is also gentle; some toners sting / burn my face but this one doesn’t. It absorbs in under a minute.

It leaves my skin feeling super fresh and hydrated. No greasiness, with a slight mattifying effect. In fact I forgot to moisturise one day and I didn’t notice at all – had I not used this toner my face would have felt tight and itchy.

My skin definitely likes this toner. It seems to have calmed my occasional acne down and my complexion does look smoother in general. Fine lines actually look reduced. Really glad i found this one – I don’t think I will look elsewhere when this one runs out :).

This is my first time using Korean skincare and I’m quite impressed by it. The AHC Aqualuronic Toner comes in a premium looking bottle. It has subtle fresh scent and easy to dispense. I washed and dried my face and dispensed a few drops of the toner onto my hand, and patted it onto my face until it was all absorbed in.

The toner is really lightweight, absorbs quickly, doesn’t cause any stickiness and highly moisturising. I’ve combination skin, and sometimes certain part of my skin feels itchy, tight and dry, and this toner keeps my skin soft and moisturised.

The AHC Aqualuronic Toner also doesn’t cause any breakouts on my sensitive skin which is a bonus. Overall a really good toner which ticks all the boxes.

I am a big fan of toners particularly as they help hydrate my skin especially during winter time. After cleansing my face both morning and evening, I used 3-4 drops in my hand before patting in into my skin.

You can use a cotton wool pad but I found they tend to waste a lot of the product. I found this toner to be particularly lightweight and meant it absorbed into my skin so easily. The triple hyaluronic complex of low, medium and high penetrate deep into the skin to maximise hydration whilst the aqua ceramides help replenish skin energy and moisture barrier.

I have already seen a huge difference in my skin and texture since using it and this brand is now strictly implemented into my skin routine. Would highly recommend.

I’ve seen a number of reviews saying this product was drying. I don’t see how it could possibly be drying. This is a water based toner. The third ingredient is squalane, a shelf-stable hydrocarbon derived from squalene, which is a naturally occurring skin moisturizing agent and protector.

The product also contains emulsifiers, stabilizers, one of which can help combat fungal acne, and three different oils. Squalane penetrates into the skin, and doesn’t leave heavy residue, which may make someone believe it was not providing moisture.

Many moisturizing products I find tend to leave a heavy film that seems like it would be moisturizing my skin, but is actually just a thick layer that isn’t providing benefit beyond serving as an emollient.

Products like this one should be used under more emollient moisturizers, but still provide important care to deeper levels of the skin that are not provided by heavier products. It is frustrating to see people who don’t seem knowledgable about skincare ingredients commenting on well-researched, safe and effective products.

It sounds like someone calling a bottle of water “drying. ” For people with acne, the oil content may lead to breakouts. I find that applying this after a BHA or niacinamide step aids in avoiding breakouts.

I am IN LOVE with this milky toner!! My face is so sensitive to products & I was nervous about trying this. In just 3 days I could see a difference! The scent is light & my skin feels so moisturized when I use it! I don’t use a cotton pad.

Instead, after cleansing my face I pour a dime sized amount into the palm of my hand & spead it all over my face. It doesn’t irritate ANYTHING. Not even the eye area! 2 months ago I decided to add the Ultra Cleanser & Moisturizer.

I’m not kidding when I say people have asked me if I’ve had resurfacing done. My fine lines have diminished SO much & my skin glows! I will never use another brand again. This is THE holy grail!.

this toner is a must! it’s mild and it’s super hydrating. when my skin is being reintroduced to my products, I always start with this. I use it morning and night. it hydrated well and my complexion always look healthy with this.
