20 Best Tires For Off Road And Highway (2023 Updated)

Drove with tires for about two months and at a redlight, the sidewall busted. I did not hit a pothole and there is no puncture marks. Just a clean slit on the sidewall. Tire tread looks new. I only drive local only 1 or 2 times a week.

They refuse warranty saying that sidewall damage cannot be a tire defect. A tire defect can cause a sidewall to bust and there is no sign of any punctur marks. Just warning others that they will not honor warranty.

DO NOT DO IT. DO NOT DO IT. I know what your thinking. they do not balance just like the other 1 star reviews. What a mess. took them in 3x. Manager said it was my tie rods. OK. took the truck to Meineke Auto Repair via his suggestion.

Nothing is wrong with truck. tires are bad. Believe me. Walmart will take these back!.

These tire have been absolutely incredible, I’ve had them on now about a year and have at least 15k miles on them. They are holding up well, still look great and tons of tread left on them! I get compliments alot on how they look, if you are looking for a cheaper alternative to nitto and those types of tires I def recommend.

I don’t usually give Reviews but wanted to maybe help someone out if they saw this. I pull a 6k pound center console boat with my truck and these tires have held up and help alot getting out of the boat ramp in 2wd.

Will def buy them again when these finally wear in a couple two, three years. Posted a couple pics of my truck with them on.

I purchased theses tires through Walmart because they were the least expensive. Other sites were charging $215-$225. Tires arrived in less than 3 days. Had them shipped to my Walmart store to ensure there was no problem with the delivery.

Talked to a lot of people about the tires before I made the purchase and I’m glad I did. I went form 235/75/17 to LT285/70/17 on the factory Ford 17″ rim and it makes the truck look a lot better especially since it’s leveled in the front.

There is minimal road noise from the tires at highway speed, but nothing that would drive you crazy. I hope that they will last for a while seeing as I have more than one vehicle. Walmart made the process really simple and I’d buy tires through them again – they couldn’t but them on – but the sold them to me.

These are high quality tires. They are equivalent to 10 ply tires and have very deep tread. I highly recommend them.

Just received these 4 Terreno A/T LT275/70R18 E 10 Ply tires. They arrived today so they haven’t been installed yet. Looking at the tread and the siping, these tires look like they should perform well in inclement weather.

Time will tell.

I was looking for some cheap tires for a truck that doesn’t travel often or far. Looks like these will work fine.

I bought this set of 4 tires for my 2019 Ford Ranger Pickup about 2 months ago and am so happy I did. These tires stick to the road so well when turning and are superior in rainy weather. I have no doubt they will do great in the snow but I’ll have to wait until winter to confirm this.

I was so impressed I bought a set of 4 for my wife’s 2015 Nissan Rogue. They look so aggressive, and she immediately commented that she doesn’t even have to use the brake when turning corners now! Although in my truck they are quiet, in the Rogue they are a little noisy; however, the performance is so great, we can live with this.

I purchased 265/70/17 3 years ago. I drive 89 miles one way to work 2 times a week from WV to NC plus whatever I do in my time off. I LOVED these tires, worn great, lots of tread still left even when I decided to replace them.

I totally could had got another year out of them given if I lived in an area that doesn’t see much snow. We get a lot of snow in WV and can accumulate to several inches. These tires did awesome only a few times did I slide but thats cause I was driving too fast for conditions but was able to get it back under control.

I hydroplaned a few times but thats only when my tread started getting low and again, my fault. I drove fast around curves and these hug the road nicely not allowing me to fishtail evem when the tread were low.

I wished I had the money to buy these again but when I purchased these 3 years ago it costed me over $1000 at Walmart, but I did get the road warranty too. Would I recommend “Oh Yes!” I didnt do much off roading but when I did these did a great job, go good in snow (I rarely use my 4wd only when I seriously need it most of the time its in 2wd.

) So yes, if you have the money I would recommend.

I bought these tires for my 2012 z71 chevy colorado. It came with the same tires when I bought the truck new with only 15 miles back in 2011. The tires lasted me 10 years 125,000 miles. I could of push it for probably another year maybe 2 but decided it was time for new tires.

I had never had tires that lasted me this long and had tires on my other vehicles with highly known name brands that only lasted me fro 50,000 to 75,000 miles (5 years). I highly recommend these tires.

Very nice tread pattern quiet when operating but has good bite. Ride smooth. Very pleased with these tires where is the overall look and appearances great they look nice on my truck. Definitely worth the money.

So far so good! The gentleman at the Los Lunas store did a Great job!! The tires are well balanced. It has only been a week and one weekend since the installation. The tires look good, are quiet and grip the road well.

Purchased 5 of these garbage tires. Originally had them bead balanced which should eliminate all wiggle in them. Wrong. Tires would not balance. Then went and had the beads sucked out and road forced balanced.

Still can’t get the tires to balance correctly. One was so out of round I wasn’t even able to balance so that will forever be the spare. Jeep still has a wiggle from tires not being balanced. Manufacturer would not do anything to rectify the issue.

Junk tires. Good for off road only basically. Save your money.

The tire didn’t last a year, it cracked on the side and I had to order a new one and had to pay more for it as well. And I’m of course, I have to replace 2 so they’re even! Low quality, good look.

Tires ride well, seem pavement easy but also off road worthy as well. Tires did have high road force, but a little adjusting and they balanced out perfectly.

These are GREAT tires. I got 35/12.5/17. They ride nice and are quiet. I would buy these again

These came on my new Jeep. They do not work in snow, rain, and or especially mud. If it were not for the fact it’s 4WD Trailhawk it would be undriveable in any condition other than dry sunny weather.

I have endured these tires for 17,000km. I have had FIVE flats. The “Adventure” in the name comes from the excitement of putting the spare on in less than ideal conditions. Interestingly, with all the time I’ve spent driving on the spare it has yet to get a flat.

Hmm. So my “Trailhawk”, designed for off road and with inaccurately named “off road” tires cannot reliably drive off road!.

After looking at and comparing several different tires I chose these Atturo Trail Blades because of the treadwear, traction, and load rating on top of the excellent sale prices. I ordered and received them in the same week and got them mounded and balanced just before the weather took a turn for the worst, and have been very pleased and impressed by their performance.

Road noise is minimal and traction and ride quality are excellent! It snowed over 9 inches and I was able to drive anywhere and everywhere I wanted and needed to go without any trouble whatsoever. I truly doubt you’ll find a better tire for any price and I know you won’t find a better seller to deal with than SimpleTire! I put these on my 2010 Dodge pickup and bought another set and put on my 2019 Durango.

Fuel mileage didn’t change from original equipment tires even though these are a more aggressive tread, so I consider that a plus as well. Heavy rain or deep snow, these tires hold the road and give a feeling of confidence you’ll get where you’re going safe and sound.

I wouldn’t try forging through a swamp with these tires, but they do have bite enough for dirt and gravel or sandy county roads, and getting around in the occasional muddy pasture and off-road trail.

I’ve only locked in 4 wheel drive off-road 3 times since putting these tires on my truck, twice when crossing a creek and once going up a muddy hillside, whereas B. F. Goodrich all terrain tires that these Atturos replaced had me locking in 4 wheel drive nearly every time I drove through the gates into the fields if it had rained much at all.

On snow covered roads, I lock it up and just go. I’m sure I’ve upset more than one driver by passing them in an unplowed lane while they crept along at a turtle’s pace in the clear lane. After having driven on these tires for a while now I’m confident in where and how I can drive in any weather I encounter and I am also confident in recommending to anyone needing a set of all terrain tires to not only buy a set of the Atturo Trail Blades but also buy them from SimpleTire.

I’m very pleased that I did and think you will be too. They have great sidewall flex to absorb the small bumps, holes, and expansion seams in the roads yet don’t feel like they are going to roll off the bead in turns and curves.

You just have to remember these are all terrain and not all season tires with lower sidewalls that corner better at higher speeds, so don’t expect your truck or SUV to corner like a slot car and get frustrated when you have take a on-ramp or exit at a slower speed than the 55 or 45 aspect ratio tires with tread that was half as deep as these Atturo Trail Blades you are replacing your previous tires with.

I hope sharing my real world experience with these tires helps in your decision when buying all terrain tires. I’m very pleased with my choice of tires and the seller I purchased them from. As I stated previously above, I replaced a set BF Goodrich tires with these Atturo Trail Blades at HALF the cost and they perform every bit as well if not better.

The ONLY difference between the two that may or may not be something you have to think about is the Atturo Trail Blades do not have the raised white lettering that the Goodrich and some other brands offer.

Personally however, I prefer the black sidewalls over white lettering that can become a pain to keep looking bright if you should happen to live or drive often in the country or rural areas where the roads are gravel or just plain dirt that gets muddy every time it rains or snows.

I really thought these tires would perform well on my 2017 Ram 1500 (265/70/17) I was wrong. First, they are very loud. You can easily hear them at all speeds but very loud at around 40MPH. Secondly, I put these on at 53,000 miles (got that much from the original Goodyears that came with the truck).

I am at 69,000 and the tires barely pass inspection. Wear faster on the rear than front. Worn more in the middle of the tire than edges. Mechanic says likely because I have 40lbs in them which is what the truck calls for.

I will not be purchasing these again. Looking at a set of Coopers next. Probably should go back to the Goodyears, but they are a bit too expensive. But you get what you pay for I guess.

Finally got a few miles and some bad weather, so here’s the review. We bought these for our 2004 4×4 Tundra yard work and back country truck. Bought them because they were the most aggressive looking tread of the inexpensive tires and we wanted something good for towing the boat, a muddy yard and the occasional snow.

Turns out these Atturo Trail Blade A/T were the right call. We just had a half inch ice storm, followed by a 7-8 inch snow with drifting. Naturally, life dictated that we’ve had to travel in it a few times.

Tires did great! Really had to try to make them break traction and even when they did, the truck recovered instantly. Stable as all get out on hard pack snow, ice, slush and wet roads alike. Pushed right through 10 and 12 drifts and never spun a tire.

Never even had to put it in 4 wheel drive. Not once. These tires handle just as good as the High Country M/T tires they replaced and are far superior in the wet and snow. They balanced easily and are smooth up to 75mph or so.

Only down side is they ride slightly stiffer and are a little noisy on dry roads. Not obnoxious, but you will notice if you listen or have an older vehicle without much sound deadening. But you would expect both things in an all terrain tire with a higher load capacity.

Allin all, these tires made the old Toyota the most stable of the many vehicles I’ve driven in bad weather in my 65 years. Great Value!!!!!.

To Start, I’m giving these tires a 4 star rating (instead of 5) because I’ve only had them for a week but I have driven several hundred miles on them already and so far, I couldn’t be more impressed.

If they last as long as expected then I would change it to a 5, but only time will tell. The tread is a little more aggressive than the Good Year Wranglers that I replaced. However, there is absolutely no more road noise/singing than with the GY”s.

Have driven this week on bare roads and some icy/snowy roads and they performed great. Install was fine and the tech said that they balanced up very nice with minimal weight needed. I would like to say that they look great but.

to me, tires are tires and the looks don’t matter to me very much. They are black wall with no white lettering. The price at the time was very reasonable compared to the Wranglers that I could have gotten and which are rated to go 60K miles.

These Atturos are 50K, I believe. So far, I really like them. They are on a Ford F150 SCab. If they last for me, I’d for sure buy again and then give ’em a 5 star rating.

So I bought this great 2007 Toyota Highlander AWD with granny tires and had to change ’em. I am very happy with these Atturos. Taken them on a few road trips now and they behave pretty well on and off the pavement and the ride is comfortable.

Also, the speed and load ratings are better than stock. There is a little bit of road noise, like a mild whine. Noticeable, but not annoying. Overall, I am very happy with them. And Simpletire is AWESOME!!!.

I bought 6 of these tire for my 2018 Ram 3500 truck. They looked great and rode very well. I live in the city, but don’t drive it back and forth to work because of fuel. I mainly drive it to our property because I sometimes have to move equipment around.

My last trip I noticed that the front passenger side started jumping on small bumps, and once so violently that I thought the wheel was coming apart. I stopped and looked at the tire and undercarriage and all looked fine.

I took the truck to get aligned but they didn’t see anything wrong. I then took it to the Ram dealer to have them check the front end. They found that both front tires were “egg shaped” and the belts were separated.

The four rear dually tires are wearing fine. These tires are only a year and a half old, and less than 10k miles on the tires and they are separating. But I guess that the 50k tread warranty doesn’t cover cord separation.

I would have expected more than that from both TireBuyer and Hankook. So buyer beware.

I bought four of these for a utility trailer I’m building. I’m using JL wheels so I can use them on my Jeep in a pinch. Overall they seem like a good value, made in Indonesia, designed in Singapore. The tech that mounted them said they were round and balanced with low weight.

(1. 75 oz the largest) I put them on my Jeep for a quick road test to check ride and noise level. Taking in consideration Jeep tires are Firestone MT2’s,very noisy and rough mud tires,these are relatively quiet and smooth.

Slightly better than the Falken Wildpeak AT3’s on my truck. These Corsa’s are likely the trucks replacement when due. As a note they didn’t rub on my stock Jeep during road test, don’t know about off road though.

The Corsa LT285/70/17 10 ply AT tires are definitely not the best I’ve run on my F250 Super Duty. But they were 1/3 the cost of a new set of the BFG KO2’s that I had on it previously. So, I’m happy with what I got, considering what I paid for them.

But they definitely don’t handle as well as a new set of Michelins. Pros: The tires balanced like they are supposed to balance. They were very inexpensive, compared to other tires of this size. There is a lot of tread on the tires.

If you look at new tires today, they do not seem to be making them with as much tread as they did, just a few years ago. For all terrain tires, the Corsa’s seem to get good traction in light off road conditions.

And they look pretty aggressive, compared to other all terrain tires. Cons: Of all of the off road and all terrain tires that I have bought in my life, these have more tire roll than any I have ever owned.

I would have expected a lot less tire roll from a 10 ply tire than what these tires have. If Corsa stiffened up the sidewalls, I would never waste my money on an expensive tire again. At first I thought my tire pressure was WAY low.

But I’ve checked the pressure now with several different gauges, and they are right on what the factory recommends (75 psi). So, when I wear these tires out, I will definitely upgrade to a better tire.

I bought these al terrain xl tires. They have around 2000 miles on them and they never have done any good offroad, they are really comfortable and quiet on the road. When it rains, dont drive with these, they dont cut through water they ride ontop and makes you hydroplane.

I have to use 4×4 in the rain to drive on the road. Theyre not all terrain tires by any means. If i could get a refund on these and return them i would. Dont judge my english. I dont do english.
