20 Best Tires For Jeep Grand Cherokee 2012 (2023 Updated)

I ended up ordering these tires based on reviews on Walmart and Amazon. I know they aren’t your typically name-brand tires, but this All-Terrain setup is nice. I had a mud tire setup on my truck before purchasing these, and those tires were loud driving on the highway.

Most of my commute is on the highway, and I typically drive my truck daily. These tires are quite driving around the city and on the highway. The only major complaint I had was the shipping. The tires were delayed about three times, and I believe it had to deal with a damaged shipping label.

I recommend Walmart put a little more effort into shipping labels for these tires.

I purchased these for my 2017 Toyota Tundra. These replaced the original Michelin all terrain tires. The Michelin’s were very quit and smooth. I knew switching to these tires would cause a loss in comfort and quietness, but I wanted a more aggressive look.

I had the tires mounted and balanced and drove a bit. I was very impressed by how quite and smooth they were. Yes, there is a bit of a hum, but nothing like what I was expecting. On the interstate, I cruised at 80 for a few miles and they remained very smooth and quiet.

I can’t comment on longevity as I’ve only had them a day, but my initial impression is great!!!.

I was skeptical of the Venom tires having always been a Nitto or Yokohama guy. But man. These tires are GREAT! Quieter than BOTH the Nitto Ridge Grappler and the Yokohama Geolander X-AT’S. Even quieter than the General Grabbers.

Absolutely FANTASTIC performance in the snow. We got 16″ of snow the day after I got the tires and they performed beautifully. Didn’t get stuck once and was able to safely recover multiple other stuck drivers.

For point of reference. I mounted 35×12. 5r18 on a 2014 Ram 2500 4×4 Mega Cab. No lift. No leveling. Works great with zero rubbing.

We bought 4 of these tires to replace aging tires on our work truck. The initial experience was good as the price was competitive but the installation of these tires with the TireAmerica preferred installer network was really poor.

We received no confirmation of the installation appointment and had to call to confirm. Once we showed up for the appointment, the NTB employees did not know what TireAmerica was and said they did not have an appointment for us.

Once we got TA on the phone to help, they miraculously found our appointment but still made us wait. 4 hours! Additionally, the amount charged for the installation was considerably more than the estimate provided on the TA website.

While these tires are fine, the TA purchasing experience was not one that we recommend. Overall, the tires are performing as expected and I think the product is worth a solid 3-stars. They’re a little noisy but get the job done.

Now I know why tires where cheaper than anyone else. I received tires that where nearly 2 years old. Not cool. My husband ordered same brand tires from Walmart and they were less than 4 months old. Called to c if we could get newer one’s and was told yes but you have to pay to have others shipped back and other fees.

Then ask if we had a problem with tires balancing would they replace tire or tires, no. There’s a manufacturer warranty to cover that. Ask what warranty coverage is male said I don’t know you’ll have to call them.

Also ask to speak with his manager or supervisor, they not here already gone. Male was very unpleased to deal with and not helpful at all. We’ll not be buying from your company again or recommend y’all.

I’ve mounted and balanced thousands of tires in my career, so I kinda know tires. I put my first Hankooks on my truck many years ago, was so impressed that I put on another set when they wore out. Now, we needed tires for our RAV4.

It had fair tires on it, but they were highway tires, and the road by our house is icy and snow packed for most of the winter. I ordered these, and they came the day before they were supposed to be here.

I was a little skeptical about the tread pattern, even though a lot of customer reviews said they had great traction. Well, I guess they were right. No problem at all driving through a few inches of snow, and braking was a whole magnitude better.

Maybe it’s just new tires, but I’m impressed. Again. Now if they’ll just hold up. But, I got about 50,000 miles out of the first set on my truck, without rotating or balancing them. So, here’s hoping on 70,000 miles out of these.

Mastercraft tires are a division of Cooper Tire and this model is a direct clone of one of a Cooper 65,000 mile tire but at a slightly lower price. We love Cooper tires so we thought we would give these a try on our sons 2010 Toyota Corolla.

These tires were mounted and balanced at the Peachtree City GA Walmart. As soon I left and got the vehicle up to speed, I noticed a very rough ride with these tires. I returned the same day to have them re balanced and it was slightly better but still way way worse than the worn out Nexen tires that were previously on the car.

Basically one or more tires must be out of round.

Great tread pattern, warranty, and price point. I live in east TN mountains, travel a lot, and have a 30 ft pull behind RV. Have to use a reliable tire for overall use, and seasons. Ram takes a 265 but I always step up to 285 for wider traction and height.

Not a 4×4 so I need that sure grip and water dispersement.

I put these on my wifes Honda crv. They are fairly smooth riding and fairly quiet for a All Terrain type tire. I mounted and balanced myself and they balanced out fairly easy. 2 of the tires were missing the red dots but used the yellow dots and worked out fine.

I bought these tires for my 2005 Toyota Tacoma. As you know this is not a heavy truck. I also never hauled or towed with these tires. I bought these tires July, 18th 2016. I have not even had them 2 years.

They barely have 20,000 miles on them. They looked great at first and rode very smooth. I started noticing a shake at about 15,000ish miles. I took my truck back in to get my tires rebalanced. The tire shop said all four tires are “out of round”.

The shaking is getting worse to the point I can’t drive my truck. So these tires are now junk. Barely have the tread wore and I need to buy another set and of course a different brand!!! This company should just stick with dirt bike and ATV tires.

When I originally seen the post it was for a 16″ tire and was advertised as a 10 ply which is what I needed but in a 17″ so when I changed that size and ordered the tires, I didn’t realize it changed it to a 4 ply tire.

I haul horse trailers so I always need the thicker ply tires. I NEEDED tires really bad so I went ahead and put these on the truck. They are a great tire. But I now have to watch my load size and make sure not to be over loaded for the rate of this tire.

I will pay better attention next time I’m ready to buy tires but I really think I will buy these again. They look great on my truck and when not hauling horses ride really well.

SAVE YOUR MONEY. I wouldnt even use these tires to flip during a workout. Just like anything car/truck related- You get what you pay for. I was in a tight spot when I bought these and for the 2 months I drove on them, they were horrible.

I had bad vibrations and tires were constantly being balanced. Finally i took it to a modern tire shop with all the tire only equipment and had them figure out what was going on with the tires. They performed many diagnostics on the tires and all 4 of them failed.

The worst one the tires failed was the on road simulator. A good number is anything under 35. All 4 of these tires were well over 110 meaning they were out of round. Cheaply built. Save your money and get something better.

I couldnt see them giving these away for free let alone selling them.

Great service from priority tire, However I gave 3 stars not for the service but for the tires, there a little short and narrow. I don’t know if this is common with all manufacturers but the tires are 35″ x12.

50″ 20″ but the actual measurement I get is about 33″x10″, I could have saved a little money and bought a 285 70 20 and got a 33″ tire, I wanted a true 35″ tire, so I guess in the future I’ll have to order a 37, other than that they’re nice tire’s and appear as advertised.

Running 35×12. 5×20 on lifted 2015 Tundra. Huge improvement from old tires. Just put 2000 miles on them on a trip to Ft. Lauderdale and tires were great and even picked up about 1 mpg in gas. Great tires.

Just replaced the Goodyear Wrangler tires that were factory installed on my 2015 Ford 150 xlt Supercrew 62,400 miles. I probably could of got another 3000 miles but ended it early. My truck rides like a 1976 Cadillac.

Smooth ride and very little road noise. I rarely put heavy loads in the bed of my truck but do tow a 17 ft Boston Whaler ( 2500 pounds est) average 4 times a year. Hence I replaced the vehicle with the same newer version of the Goodyear tires.

I am sorry to have to buy new tires. I have 2015 f150 supercrew. These tires never gave me an issue and I have 56k on them and still have some tread. I would run them another 3k but I had a puncture in the one and the tire shop can’t seem to deal the patch, so I’m forced to get new tires since I’m not dealing with them every 8hrs to pump them up.

I’m sad to have to do that since there is some more tread to be worn. FYI I do run my tread low to get my monies worth and I don’t have inspection for another 4 months. The 2015f150s are lighter than the other trucks and I just put a high cap on it about 35k so I’m not expecting to get that much out of the next set.

For the price compared to the better competition I’m probably gonna go with these again. Like $50 more for maybe another 10k. Doesn’t seem worth it though the others have better traction. I’d like to try different brands.

Recently changed tires on wife’s Expedition. OEM tires were Michelin which were great. So we didn’t want to sacrifice any ride quality or add road noise. The Wranglers were alot less and perform just as well.

And add an improved sidewall design which looks better. I would definitely recommend.

3rd. time I buy Kenda Klevers! I knew the brand Kenda from my motorcycles and mountain bikes. The first time I bought the original “A/t” design I did not know what to expect. I loved them, my Tahoe was always sure footed and the tires never slipped off road to so when they wore out I bought a second set.

I needed tires again in 2021 and I was a bit hesitant when I saw they had changed the thread design to the new “A/t2”. Now, I actually like it even more than the originals! They work great on all surfaces and look nice and more aggressive without being loud on the road like a mud tire.

Same great traction as the originals on all the surfaces I have encountered in Arizona. I kept the 2 least worn Klevers A/t from my previous set and mounted them on my off road trailer! once or twice I have had nails on the thread but were easily repaired and did not leave me stranded or even require me to change the tires, I could always drive to a shop to have it fixed.

These are rugged tires!.

Tires are doing great so far on my 2014 F150 XLT Supercrew Ecoboost. Considering they’re AT tires and fairly aggressive they’re not loud at all and have a smooth ride even at 90mph. Only have about 500 miles on them so far so not to sure about longevity but they still look brand new.

Also have good grip and handle well on gravel and unimproved roads. I think I should get 40-50k miles on them before they need to be changed. I’ll update this review later on down the road if anything changes but so far so good.

I’ve had Kenda tires on all my dirtbikes (KX250, CRF250, KTM 65, YZ450F) and my 2015 Nissan Altima for the past 5 years and have never had any problems with any of them and they’re always a lot more reasonably priced than all the other name brand tires.

Kenda as a company has definitely come a long way!.

2006 RWD ford explorer. Old tires were squirrly on a nice day. Only drove this vehicle on dry days. Thought I’d try a set of winter tires and bought 4 cooper true north. Whoa. Night and day better traction in wet and ice snow conditions.

It handles better than my 4wd yukon with these winter tires. 2 deg right now, snowing, ice everywhere and just got my kid to his game. Had to share. You want a set of phenomenal tires for these conditions, These are them.

I bought these tires and had them installed on the 27th of September and on the 2nd of October we got 40 cm of snow. This is probably the first time I’ve guessed right about installing my winter tires in a timely fashion.

I chose the Cooper tires based on experience with Discoverer M+S tires that I’d used on a Toyota FJ for over a decade. My new tires, Discoverer True North, are on a Subaru Outback. I’m impressed with the grip and control the tire offered in accelerating and stopping on ice and in deep snow.

They are also significantly quieter on dry pavement than all but a very expensive set of Bridgestone tires I had on a BMW I’d previously owned. My installer told me this was the only set of these tires he’d sold.

That’s a pity because they seem to work very well. I bought them based on past experience with Cooper tires and a very positive report from Consumer Reports. My decision seems to have been a good one.

One of my very best Walmart experiences. the tires arrived in a timely manner, I was contacted immediately, I schedule an appointment to get them installed, the installation took only about an hour, the Service Techs were professional, clean and courteous.

As for the performance of the tires. I was almost ready to sell the vehicle because the all season tires, with < 8k miles on them, performed so terribly on snow and ice (NE WI) that I thought I couldn't use just a front wheel drivev SUV.

These snow tires are remarkable. Since having them installed I’ve been through a 3 inch and a 6 inch snow fall and it’s just like driving my four wheel drive truck. The difference in throttle, brake and steering control is amazing.

Yes putting four new snow tires on isn’t cheap but it’s well worth it when you consider the cost of just one trip into a ditch or another vehicle.

I have had very good experience with Nexen tires. I have 3 other vehicles running various types of Nexen and have excellent performance. I was in the market for a A/T tire for a vehicle that sees about 80% road and 20% off road.

Found that Nexen was making all terrain tires now so chose RA8 due to the limited off road use I didn’t need an aggressive mud tire. Being from Fl where it rains every afternoon, the tires have great wet road traction and have been great in sand, mud, and gravel.

For anyone looking for a great tire for moderate off road use (as that’s all I have used them for so far) at a great price, you can’t go wrong with this tire. Walmart store in Daytona however is a joke if you live in the area and have a lifted vehicle and want slightly larger tires that WILL fit don’t even bother going there! Because the tag on the door that states the tire size is the end all be all they won’t even listen to reason or view a tire size calculator to find out it will fit.

The manager just wants to go back to playing on her phone rather than deal with customers.

I only have about 200 miles on these tires, so I’d like to re-review or update this review at a later date when I’m almost done with this set. I bought these on the suggestion of a truck driver, who said they were decent quality for the price.

I would argue that I still paid way too much for them, but that seems to be the pattern for everything since the whole COVID fiasco. However, I just had these put on when the winter storm came to Texas.

These tires kept me on the road, were dependable, and came through for me. They were good on the 2-3″ of ice we had and then they were excellent on the 3-4″ of fresh snow. They are perfect tires for the caliche county roads where I live.

when the roads are dry. I will agree with other reviews that say that this tire is not the absolute best in mud (yes, I know they are not mud tires, but I do expect SOME traction in shallow mud with all-terrains).

If your roads get muddy frequently, you may want to steer clear of this tire. Otherwise, I think it has excellent traction on gravel, wet roads, and ice. It is not the most quiet AT tire on the highway, but also not uncomfortably loud.

Again, I cannot speak to longevity or quality in the long run, but I hope to do so at a later date. Overall, I’d recommend this tire if you can get a good deal on it.

The tires themselves seem decent, but installation is a nightmare. I went to my local store on Friday and they were busy, so I scheduled a Monday appointment. On Monday, I show up on time to have the tires installed that were delivered to me.

The rep goes outside to look at my vehicle and the tires purchased from Walmart. He says my inspection is expired and they can’t install. So I said that’s why I am getting new tires, I can’t get an inspection without new tires.

Now if they told me this on Friday when I went to the store to make my appointment and they looked at my truck then, I could have removed the wheels and put them in my van and brought them to separately to be installed.

Because if the wheels aren’t on a vehicle they will install them. So they wasted my time. They use this as an excuse because what you have is a bunch of lazy employees that prefer to hang out and smoke weed rather than work.

They will look for any excuse not to work. As somebody who does all their own mechanical and has also owned a business for 22 years, I know when somebody is making excuses. I went over to STS Mavis Tire and Auto right after leaving Walmart Farmingdale NY and STS Tire.

Mounted on a Chevy Colorado 2WD. I am located in SW Colorado so my needs were snow, sand, and long gravel roads with sharp rocks. The tires have a wide/proud stance. Great side wall protection when aired down.

I really like the shoulder pattern as I feel it will last. They have abundant siping in all directions for winter grip. Just spent the weekend with them in Butler Wash, Utah were we established trust.

No road noise or noticeable fuel milage loss. I feel they are a well built tire. They have an aggressive look as well as getting the job done. *Made in the USA.

I don’t ever leave reviews but these tires deserve it. I didn’t really know what to expect, I’ve only bought a couple sets of new tires in my life and always super cheap ones. I had no idea tires could be this quiet.

So far I have zero complaints. The tires were the cheapest ones I could find in a brand I had actually heard of, with a decent load rating, (since I tow a lot), in the size I needed. They were shipped quickly, balanced nicely, they are the most quiet tires of any car I’ve ever been in, they seem to handle very well and they look good.

This is a good quality tire for those who are seeking great value without it being too expensive on the budget. They have good tread hugging ability in both dry and driving rain conditions. I have them mounted on my 2017 Ford Explorer and they have an aesthetic appearance on the vehicle.

The only cons I would mention would be the tread noise on pavement. has more of a true truck tread hum. Also noted a loss of an average of 2-3 mpg on fuel economy. Neither would detour me from purchasing the tires again.

All in all I am pleased with them. economical and backed with a 30 day satisfaction guarantee it is hard to go wrong!.

They are definitely quiet for a all terrain tire, really fast shipping from tirebuyer. Two days and my tires were on my front porch. All the tires balanced well, except for one. One of the tires took almost 6oz to balance, it looked like the tire had a flat spot in it, maybe something was sitting on the tire for awhile.

Hopefully it will round out after it heats up a few time, gonna take it back in a month and let the tire installer check it again. The tires ride as good as my Michelin did , hope I can get good mileage out of them.

Even with the one issue I had they still ride smooth and quiet. Will definitely buy from tirebuyer again.

Recent bought Mickey Thompson (275/60/20) for my Ram 1500 Crew Cable and am very pleased with my purchase. They look great on the truck and I’ve gotten a few compliments already! I’ve had them on for about 2 months now and they are great in all types of weather.

Tire buyer is a no brainer!.

I have around 2k on my set of Deegan 38’s and I am pleased with my purchase. For the price, it was a no brainer with the $80 rebate. I have run Nitto’s, Cooper AT3 & ATP’s and I prefer the look of the Deegan’s over the Nitto and Cooper AT3’s.

The Cooper ATP’s are a more aggressive tire because I could only find them in an LT version which I don’t need on my newer truck. They are very quiet for the tread pattern but it’s too early to tell how loud they will get.

My only issue is that the tires took a lot of weight to road force balance but I think this was the case of a lazy installer who didn’t want to reposition the tire on the rim.
