Steam is steam no matter where it comes from, but if you get steam from the Dupray Neat Steam Cleaner you will find that it is easy to direct the steam to where you want it. I have had 2 or 3 other steam cleaners; this is by far the best. I use it for everything! I clean houses for a living & wouldn’t be without it. Use it for floors, showers, windows, walls, cleaning out nasty trash cans.

Use it in my car, clean my grill & most recently to strip wallpaper. worked like a charm! Also use for spot cleaning on carpet & rugs, comforters, furniture. The first unit I bought quit making steam for some reason.

I emailed Dupray asking what the problem might be & how I could fix it. Their answer: we will send you a replacement free of charge. Had it in less than a week. (I am never this lucky) There was no hassle, no run around, just we stand behind our product & want happy customers.

This week the rubber hose casing split on the attachment end. I taped it but that didn’t help. Contacted Dupray this afternoon to see if I could get a new hose. Since it’s part of the unit it is not replaceable.

Nilan, the customer service rep I spoke with, did some checking & it was still under warranty. A new steamer is on the way! Again, no trying to finaggle a way out, no excuses, no run around. Even if this wasn’t THE BEST steamer I would stick with Dupray for their customer service.

It is unmatched in today’s world where companies don’t stand behind their products.

I bought this steam cleaner a few months back and let me tell you. wow. what a great purchase and investment. I bought it because I didn’t know how to begin scrubbing my oven. I didn’t want to spray terrible aerosols and bend over scrubbing it so instead I saw how this steam cleaner cleans ovens and how it cleans EVERYTHING with just water and heat and I said I’ve gotta get it.

So when I bought it and it came in I was impressed first of all the customer service of this company is amazing. they for sure are a very professional company. when I received the steamer, I saw how the steamer was built and the quality.

very pleased. Then the HEAT that this thing pushes out. wow. I love how safe the screw is placed on the steamer. all the parts are of quality. We cleaned our oven so well. so pleased. I have a friend and a relative who already purchased the same one just by seeing mine and my neighbors are interested and other family members as well.

This thing cleans like commercial grade. do I recommend this. absolutely 100%. Do yourself a favor and buy this thing you won’t regret it.

Purchased this product as an update to an original FloorMate, model # H2800, that I’ve had for many, many years. Have much more floor to wash now and am much older. Wanted the rotating spin-scrub brushes and the much larger wash solution tank which are an improvement over the original model.

Am disappointed. The old FloorMate out-performs this newer model in the wet vacuum mode, by far, plus the newer model leaks significantly more wash solution than the older model when stationary. The tank is properly seated so that is not the problem.

Thought for sure that Hoover would’ve gotten a handle on this issue on updated models. While the FloorMate remains a great concept, the performance of this new model is not acceptable to me. Will resort to using my original FloorMate and resign myself to filling the wash solution tank 8-10 times as opposed to 3 times but the flooring will be almost instantly dry.

Will ‘gift’ my sister-in-law with this new model so she can wash her back porch floor with ease as she does not require the same level of almost instant dryness that I prefer.

I have used my FloorMate hard floor cleaner for years! I LOVE it! I have gone thru several from simply much use( nothing last forever except the IRS! ). I keep 2 on hand at all times in case one breaks.

It very easy to use & I use it as needed multiple time a week. I love the fact that it has duel tanks & you are never pushing around dirty water! This is so much more sanitary than a mop that you have to constantly keep changing the water! Clean water & cleaning solution squirts out from one chamber.

power brushes scrub. the dirty solution is sucked up in the other chamber that you just pour out when the dirty container is filled! if you have ceramic tile, your floors will not be perfectly even & you will not get total dry suction, but it is still good & will dry in a couple of minutes!.

I’ve wanted a floor scrubber and debated between the Bissell Crosswave and the Hoover FloorMate. After reading virtually all of the reviews for both as well as several ‘impartial’ comparisons, I chose the FloorMate and am delighted with it so far.

Let me say first of all that although it says it can be used on sealed hardwood, I personally haven’t tried it on our hardwood, nor will I. In my opinion there is simply too much water to safely clean hardwood.

But I’ve used it on our tile floors and love it. It cleans very well, scrubbing off all the surface dirt and with the agitating brushes, deep cleans the crevices and grout lines. The dirty water left behind is sucked up fairly efficiently into the separate compartment.

With that said, it doesn’t pull ALL the water up, and having used commercial floor scrubbers in the past, neither can they. So I recommend a quick pass with a clean sponge mop to get the remaining water which does the trick and eliminates any streaking.

And if you are a clean freak like myself, the scrubber eliminates the back breaking job of getting on your hands and knees and scrubbing. It takes about the same amount of time, but with a fraction of the effort.

I highly recommend the scrubber but just know it isn’t designed to stop all other efforts to clean your floors. It just saves the extremely difficult job of scrubbing them and does it very effectively.

Bought this unit after reading reviews some were good and some not so good. The concerns after reading reviews are that the unit won’t hold up to several or long term use. Will update if necessary if unit fails.

This is the first time burying a bissell and I’m hoping to love it and get many years of use from it. So far have used it several times since receiving, it was easy to put together, it took a few minutes to snap parts together and use right away.

Very easy to maneuver and light weight, the head swivels and lthe steamer goes low enough to reach every nook and cranny. I was amaze at the amount of dirt that came off the floor. The amount of water in the unit was enough for all the rooms of our 1,400 sq ft home with needing one refill.

The long cord was very useful in getting a couple of rooms done before needing to unplugged and move to another area. The floors felt really clean under foot and was visibly cleaner when finished. The mop head was disgustingly dirty and was amazed at how much dirt came up even though we mop once a week.

I was so pleased that I decided to use it again the very next day and the amount of dirt picked up was just the same as the day before making me think how much dirt has been missed with just mopping which is surface dirt and the steam mop gets ground in dirt.

The tiles and wood floors were visibly shinier after second pass through. The only issue is that by the time you are doing the last room the mop head is very wet and isn’t so absorbent leaving the floor very wet and I have to go over it with a dry towel to pick up excess water.

So far so good and pleased with the results. I am hoping this will hold up to regular weekly use. It was very easy to clean the attached reusable fiber mop, I just removed and hand washed it, hand rung out excess water and hung dry for next use so far very pleased at the ease of use have not try using the steamer with just the brush part yet.

Looking forward to years of use.

I am honestly shocked with any bad reviews on this product. I have had mine for about a year now and I still love it. I feel like it is a quality product that is going to last through the years. However, if it broke, I would buy this same one again.

I use it on tile. and linoleum with no issue. I wet the pad in hot water before I start steaming my floors to give it a little jump start and also sprinkle essential oils on the pad. Also great for cleaning grimy outdoor windows (and indoors!), the steam really loosens up the dirt.

I have a glass top stove and use this to get that thing nice n shiny. No amount of scrubbing or products could get that burnt stuff off the stovetop in five years (rental, moved in to it like that) compared to what this did the first time I used it with the scrapping, then squeegeeing tools.

I use it to steam my wrinkly clothes. One thing I will say is that I wish there were bigger scrubbing attachments available. I would love an attachment for scrubbing my bathtub and one the right size to clean my toilet bowl on the underside where there is stubborn grime (obviously not to submerge in the water lol).

A wider flat bristle brush would be really awesome too. I do love the little scrubbing attachments, but the are too small for some jobs, which makes it too time consuming.

I deep cleaned my entire house with this steam cleaner. It’s amazing. It stands by brilliantly without leaking steam while I move things around to clean more. I find that the 700ml lasts a good while before needing to be refilled.

The only draw back is that if you must refill you need to let it cool off and depressurize before adding more water. Pros you can use tap water but make sure you maintain per Dupray instructions with vinegar rinse after so many uses.

I used every single attachment and I love it but I still need to get the hang of the squeegee. My favorite moment was getting the cracks between my shower surround that I couldn’t get with anything else.

The pressurized steam blasted out the gunk. It was disturbing and oh so satisfying at the same time. I feel better knowing that I can clean soft surfaces that I can’t throw in the laundry, especially for the coming baby.

100% worth the cost, and I’m glad I chose the home over the Neat.

Purchased our Dupray Home steam cleaner in January 2022. Used this four times and it won’t put out stream. This comes with a 3 year limited warranty and the company won’t replace it. We bought it at Walmart and they state they will only cover direct purchase from company.

Why have warranty paperwork if you won’t cover. Don’t bother purchasing from this company! They don’t stand by their product. Funny how negative reviews don’t show on their site!.

so far so good. I have used this about 5 or 6 six now. I bough this mainly to clean tile, and to keep my cars clean, machine works great for cleaning grout. what is annoying is how long a tank of water last.

no way am I getting 50 minutes with a medium steam setting more like 20 minutes. other thing is the upholstrey tool kind of sucks. it always wants to rotate on you when using. overall a nice machine for the money.

i wish they included more towels with the machine but those are cheap to buy.

McCulloch 1275 in my opinion is the workhorse in the group of steamser made by the McCulloh brand. I originally ordered the 1385 larger model hoping to get a better version of the excellence in the value per dollar ratio that the 1275 model offers.

I was sadly mistaken. the the larger model offers more attachments and stuff such as a longer hose. The longer hose (15ft) on the 1385 takes away considerable PSI and temparature at the nozzle output area.

This 1275 Has an 8ft hose and great temp and PSI at the point of staem. I carefully measured ounce for ounce with the water beaker that comes with the unit and it will actually accomodate a half gallon of water upon startup, contrary to the 48 ounce stated on the stat sheet.

This is my second McCulloch 1275 and no these machines in and out, having worked my last one to the bone. Great for all types of cleaning in hard to get to areas. I use it for my car detailing business.

I recommend it highly.

Excellent product overall. Has a multitude of accessories allowing it to steam clean many different material types. Wheels make device roll much easier being dragged to areas you need it. After 8-10 minutes for water to heat up I notice that slight excess water comes out of nozzle before actual steam so I have a towel on hand and just spray directly into the towel before using on a surface for cleaning.

The included manual is very detailed, helpful and instructive. Steam cleaner is well designed and all parts are made with quality and performance in mind.

I have a severely neglected shower/bath in a mobile home I own that was neglected, then foreclosed, then rented, then purchased, then abandoned. well, you get it! For years I have not been able to get this thing clean! No amount of scrubbing and harsh chemicals did anything but keep the uppermost layers of scum, scale and mildew at bay.

I had all but given up when I saw this machine on U Tube. Not wanting to part with anymore money, but desperate to get this bath right, I took the plunge! Today I spent a total of 7 hours steaming with a 25% solution of vinegar and water, spraying foam cleaner in between, then repeat 4 times until I could not do anymore.

Although sore ( seasoned citizen), I am ecstatic to now have a PRISTINE shower! I went through 3 brushes in short order filled with grime and gunk. Unlike others, no brushes melted and I had this thing full blast in 45 minute full -on sessions.

The only drawback in my experience was that if using the larger surface attachments, the steam output fluctuated terribly. Although tedious, that little power nozzle was great. THANK YOU!.

So well designed! The glove is amazing, comfortable, and great on curved and awkward surfaces. I like that there is a hose between the water tank and the attachments; with some others you are holding a heavy clumsy tank trying to maneuver tiny attachments.

It cleans well and the surfaces dry pretty quickly. I would have preferred an easier way to stop and start or pause the steam, and I’m waiting for the day that somebody designs a steamer where the attachments can go on the end of a long handle, like for doing baseboards.

Other than that I am completely thrilled with this steam mop and very pleased that I bought it. A friend of mine who has another brand says this one is so much better than hers.

I have had other steamers. Decided to get a larger floor cleaner but, There are times you just need to tidy up the spots or drips on the floor , so I decided to get a new steamer I chose the Blacdk & Decker 7 in 1 Steamer to do the job.

I was surprised to see how easy it glided on the floor. The water bubbled in no time and there was no squeezing the handle getting an unwanted muscle exersize from squeezing the trigger. As I mentioned the pad that attached in no time with Velcro to the machine glided on the floor.

My old machine was much heavier than the BLACK AND DECKER 7 in 1 STEAMER. The light weight of the machine and the microfiber pads ( you get 2 different sizes pads ) to do floors. In hardly any time at all the Steamer had cleaned my floor, my kitchen is 17 X 12 feet.

The floor was not only very clean it appeared to have a shine I only used water and the steamer. I also used the steamer to take some wrinkles out of my clothes. Ironing is not my favorite chore ,so the fact that I bought a floor steamer and was able to take wrinkles out of my clothes was a bonus.

Now that the bad weather is clearing in our area I will put to use the steamer GLOVE that is included with the floor steamer to do my windows. If the steamer glove works as well as the floor steamer in no time my windows will be sparkling clean like my floor.

There is also a carpet REFRESHER included in the box. NOT A CARPET CLEANER but a carpet refresher that is used with the floor cleaner To add steam to the carpet to refreshen it I have only had the steamer for less than 2 weeks so have not used the other little brushes and tools to make my house sprkling clean so I can relax this summer.

Not only did it clean my hardwood floors but I removed the handheld steamer and used the mitten attachment to do the walls and back splash, the brush to clean around trim and corners, as well as the counter tops and grout.

Having a cook top with a downdraft system, there is a lot of grease that builds up in the filters. This has always been a point of frustration for me because of the hours it takes to clean these metal filters.

I had to boil water, lay the filters in the water, scrub with an sos pad, dump the water and repeat until they were clean. With the concentrated steam attachment, I set the filters in the sink and ran the steam back and forth.

the grease just flows out of them. I washed the curtains, hung them and then steamed out the wrinkles. While I was at it, the steam also got into those little window crevices that no amount of trying can get.

It has a large tank so refilling isn’t as annoying as you think. I put a drop or two of lemon oil in and the house smells like sunshine, only because I not only want to see that I’ve cleaned, I want to, as well as everyone else, smell it! I recommend the Black and Decker Steamer to everyone.

If I could buy them one I would. there just aren’t enough good things to say about it. It will literally cut your cleaning time in half. and it will do a better job!.

I absolutely LOVE my Tineco! Especially since I live “out in the woods” it’s difficult to keep floors clean to be able to walk barefoot inside, since everything gets tracked in from outside. The typical sweep up only would last 10 minutes before feeling it needed it again.

And to lug the mop and bucket everywhere just made it even more vile. With the layout of my home, it becomes “well if I’m gonna sweep and mop the kitchen, might as well do the living room, and if I do the living room, might as well do the hall…” etc etc etc.

So I’d defeat myself before even starting. But with this… I’ve had no problems tackling the messes! It’s been a dream being able to walk around barefoot, catch the kids messes easier, clean up the bathroom after my boys (yes! It works wonders with that too!!), and handling a clean house easier.

In a house of 5 (my husband (long beard), myself, 2 boys, and a long haired daughter)…this has helped me keep all the cleaning up afterwards so much easier. Even my daughters hair, which ends up EVERYWHERE has been no match to my Tineco.

It has vacuumed and mopped up everything from grass, dirt, spills, bathroom mishaps, paint, food, mud, glitter (yes glitter!), and so much more. I can not push this machine enough! I can get under my cabinets and get each corner with ease.

The self cleaning is awesome, sucks up all the hair and dirt off the roller to get it ready for the next round. I only wish they had different cleaners. Different smells (the one that came with it smells good but is only a cleaner and deodorizer), even a disinfectant or antibacterial would be awesome.

I’ve always mopped with a “germ killer” because kids bring home a lot more that finger paintings from school, so I’d feel better if that was an option.

The good: – cleaning – While I wouldn’t say this as strong as say, a shop vac, for daily usage and messes it actually does a pretty solid job. My household has 3 dogs and 3 birds, and all the mess that comes along with them.

It’s so nice to just be able to grab this little vacuum and tidy things up so we’re not living in a pig pen. – battery – As long as I’m not spending a ton of time on one spot, the battery life has been decent in my testing.

I’ve always had plenty of power to do all of the downstairs main areas and then some – kitchen, living room, dining room, etc. – ease of use – No cords and no external battery to deal with. Just pick it up off the charger (assuming it has solution) and it’s ready to go.

The roller pulls it forward, which aids in moving it (think self propelled lawn mower) but then also adds a scrubbing motion when you pull against it. Super light weight and easy to use. – charging stand – Though it does sit a little strangely balanced on the charging stand, I really appreciate being able to just pick it up and go.

The base is also the shape of the bottom, so if there’s any dripping it doesn’t hit the floor. – included – extra rollers, filter cleaning solution and cleaning tool The bad: – audible messages – I found these to be a bit on the frustrating side.

Difficult to understand when the vacuum is being used, and multiple “please clean dirty water tank” multiple times, even after it was removed and cleaned. Not exactly “bad” per se, but there aren’t many negatives with this vacuum.

Misc: – app – Not really sure what this is for. – smell – Just like any wet vac, it will start to smell if it’s not cleaned and left to dry regularly. Overall: Overall I think this is a solid wet vacuum.

Because of the menagerie that is my house, it sees constant daily use. I would not consider it a “biggest best clean” solution, but as a daily driver for keeping a constantly used area clean it does a pretty solid job in my opinion.

I love this product, this isn’t the first one I have, I also have the s5 now which will be the upstairs one and this one will be the downstairs. From what I can find the s5 extreme seems to just be the new s5, a maybe little bit better and a year newer.

But when I say a little bit better, I mean not in any seeable or usable way. That isn’t a bad thing as there is the s5 pro, just something to know. My wife also loves it. In fact, she loves it so much that she accidentally convinced five different people (family and friends) that they need one too, some of the went for the s3 others went for the s5, all absolutely love it.

So, if that doesn’t say everything about this then I really don’t know what does. So, onto the review part of the review. I’ll start with the bad, the clean water tank and dirty water tank could be bigger, when mopping the entire downstairs, I need to fill up and empty a couple of times.

I wish that the plug or base had a wire coil integrated. I wish I didn’t have to pick it up and put it back down to do a firmware update (I got a notification to do an update and I had to go lift it up and put it down for it to know it was plugged in).

That’s it, I’m done with the bad and part of this and the bigger clean and dirty water tank isn’t necessarily a bad thing since the tradeoff is such a light and easy to use mop. When they show a picture of this sucking up cereal and milk, they aren’t exaggerating.

I have done it on more than one occasion. I will clean it out after I use it and make sure the clean tank is full just to be able to grab it quickly for whatever mess. It will get up most any fresh mess and even some old messes.

I do recommend cleaning it out after each use as milk or dog pee sitting in a dirty water holder can smell next time you empty it. The self-clean is also key to it being pretty low maintenance just to have their incase of a spill and to clean up the standard mess that just happens (after the dog cleans up of course).

They say that it can get into corners good and that depends on what you mean by good, there was a spot that got left overnight and there was about a ½ inch of sticky stuff I needed to scrub off with a washcloth it couldn’t quite reach.

But ½ inch is a lot better than other products I’ve used. I don’t use the app too often, but I do like to have it for changing the settings (voice on or off, volume, updates, etc. ). Overall, I absolutely love this and I know that we wont be without one of these and have and would again recommend this to friends and family to buy and use.

Unless you are planning to clean something directly in front of you holding the machine upright that is only a few square feet, don’t bother with this product. It runs out of water if you hold it at an angle anymore than 45 degrees.

Or if you plan to use it for any other purpose than cleaning. I own a larger, bulkier, more powerful bissell steam cleaner and it works great cleaning my showers, but it hurts my hand and my back holding the machine that long.

So, I wanted something smaller to clean my floor to ceiling showers with and I have 5 bathrooms in my home, so it’s a cumbersome task and steam cleaning is by far the best way to clean tile showers besides bleach minus the headache and respiratory distress.

Initially, I cleaned my daughters bathroom which is a tub shower combo, so I didn’t have any issues and I was able to clean the whole thing on one tank. I thought it was great at that time. Then, I tried it in my bathroom which is the largest shower.

I have to use an extension cord and I ran out of water after cleaning the glass and 2 tiles. I thought it was a fluke because of the extension cord, so I waited a couple of days and tried it again in the other small guest bathroom without the extension cord and initially it was working great until I got to the bottom and I had to turn the machine to get to the corner and water just poured out.

This never happens with my other machine. So, I am very disappointed. It was just the lightweight that I was looking for. I guess I’ll still use it in my daughters bathroom. And for other little projects around the house, but not what I intended it for.

I’ve had this floor cleaner for less than a week, and it is already unusable. The lid that holds the rollers won’t engage and lock, causing the lid to fly off as soon as it powers on. It’s unfortunate because it is a quite powerful cleaner and very easy to use.

I like that it empties the dirty water into a separate tank and continuously rolls with fresh, clean water. Be aware that it only stays charged for 20mins so if you have a large home, you will have to likely divide your cleaning into two days.

It takes a good four hours to recharge fully. I contacted the manufacturer and they requested copies of my receipt and the serial number tag. I am awaiting confirmation from Karcher for a replacement.

One other thing to note. I had the F3 cleaner for a couple months, but returned it after it stopped charging. But liked the separate clean/ dirty tank feature so repurchased this model hoping it was more durable.

Ive taken immaculate care of both cleaners- always emptied the tanks, removed and washed the rollers after each use. I’m worried now that this brand just might have too many defects.

Bought this and used it for 1 week. We have two dogs. We vacuumed before we mopped each time. The hair wasn’t a huge problem, but the mop is moving around dirty water. The rollers got wet and dirty very fast, whatever mechanism is supposed to suck the dirty water and add clean water, didn’t really work.

After mopping one room and drying you could see the steaks of dried dirty water. Returned and went back to a traditional mop, just not worth the money. Nice concept, but needs a lot of work before it’s something useful for a household.

I love the Karcher FC5 Cordless Hard Floor Cleaner. Simply insert the handle into the base of the unit and attach the two rollers then charge it. It sits securely in the storage station while it is charging and when not in use.

If the rollers get too dirty while washing your floors you can also rinse them off somewhat in the storage station but I found it just as easy to pull the rollers off and rinse them under the faucet and then reattach them.

The unit is not heavy and it just glides itself along the floor with zero effort, you just need to guide it along. It is also not very loud, much more quiet then a vacuum cleaner. The water tank is easy to remove and fill at the faucet and add the cleaner and easy to snap back into the unit.

It cleans right to the edge of your floors where they meet the baseboards. It also fit nicely under my cabinets. I used the cleaner that came with the unit and it worked awesome and didn’t leave my floor streaked or dull looking.

This worked so much better then a standard sponge mop and with little to no effort. The water tank is easily emptied of unused cleaning solution and the rollers are easily cleaned under the running faucet.

The storage station has two round knob like things to hold your rollers while they dry. The suction head is easily removed and cleaned under the faucet and snaps back into place. The included book says the charge lasts for about 20 minutes and it probably does, it didn’t take me 20 minutes to clean the floors in a very large room.

I recommend this floor cleaner to anyone who is looking for a great floor cleaner with minimal effort.

I’m in love with The Bissell Spinwave, it perfect! Better than I hoped, for cleaning a really dirty floor. I have animals, that sneeze, drool, occasionally yack. Not to mention paw prints everywhere.

I spot clean, but needed a really powerful scrubbing tool. I used the sample cleaner that came with it and the reqular cleaning pads. The rotating power works well on my Hand scraped Bamboo hardwood floors.

Sparkling clean!! I let the Spinwave do all the work, and it was almost hypnotic and soothing as the machine is ultra quiet as it cleans. I used probably more cleaner than needed, because the floors were very dirty.

The pads are remarkable well made and super absorbent, I tossed them in the washer per the manufacturer instructions. They looks brand new after washing. ready to clean more. I also used the Bissell Spinwave on my ceramic tile kitchen floor.

Another perfectly clean floor, the rotating pads are gentle to the baseboards and cabinet trim. I love this product so much. It takes all the work out of cleaning, and makes cleaning floors a breeze.

I highly recommend the Bissell Spinwave for floor care made easy, I didn’t even break a sweat. It does all the work for you.

This is a good basic steam mop. No bells and whistles here. It heats up really fast, and makes a lot of nice steam. The cord is long enough that you can reach the furthest plug. The swivel head means you can get to that space behind the toilet.

Does a nice job of cleaning along the baseboards. It’s light enough for a small woman to carry up and down stairs. On the downside, the water tank isn’t that well designed. If you have small hands, it’s hard to grasp it and pull it out to fill it.

You fill it from the bottom and the top is angled, so you can’t set it down while you fill it. The steam controls are on the bottom part of the mop, so you have to tip it back to see them (not a huge problem).

The mop locks into the upright position, but just barely. You have to be really sure before you let go. On the odd side, it makes a train-like chugging noise when it’s working. Also, the carpet glide is mentioned in the Owners Manual, but no picture in the parts list, so on first assembly I was trying to figure out where it goes.

This particular mop has some great features like the long cord, level of steam options, and the swivel head. It is pretty lightweight but does a good job of lifting dust, watersheds, and light foot traffic.

The scrubber helps lift heavier, sticky messes if you repeatedly go over the mess or raise the steam leave. This model won’t tolerate you pushing hard down on the handle so you need to be patient and just keep going over tough spots for it to do it’s job, and it will.

You’ll need to remove the hot scrub pad immediately when you’re done or place the entire unit on a counter while it cools to avoid damage on a wood floor. I left mine on a laminate wood floor while cooling down and it left white, cloudy stains underneath the pad on my floor that I cannot remove.

Hard lesson learned. I find the mop head too large for smaller bathrooms.

Overall, this is a good steam mop but I am still searching for the perfect one! This is my fourth steam mop purchase so I have tried several at all different price points and all have their pros and cons.

I LOVE that this one can stand up on its own. One of my other mops lacks this feature and it drives me crazy. This one works quite well in terms of steam production. Tank is easy to fill but its quite small so need to refill often.

Water heats up quickly. The detachable hand held steamer is fairly useless in my opinion so don’t buy this for that option alone. To clean grout the only thing I have had success with is my industrial steamer which cost over $1000.

For the price of this mop you can’t really go wrong if you’re looking for a mop that cleans floors decently at a good price point. Its nice and lightweight which is a huge plus! I would have given this mop a 5 star rating if it didn’t have one incredibly annoying feature-the mop pads are nearly impossible to get off and on!! Bissell.

PLEASE FIX THIS ISSUE!!!!! The mop pads need to be larger and/or more elastic. You have to fight with the mop pads to get them onto the mop head-which is particularly challenging with hot steam. I like to change my mop pads often so I am not moving dirt from one place to another.

I bought 10 mop pads to go with this and I wish I hadn’t because they are just such a pain to get off and on. Also, in between changing them you have to wait for the unit to cool down. If the pros from this unit could be married with the pros of a “genius” competitor’s unit, the perfect steam mop would be born! Bissell please make better quality mop pads so that this unit is more user friendly.

Also, please consider making a disposable pad.

Through the years i have tried almost every floor steamer. This lift off 2 in 1 steamer is the best I’ve used. I rescue senior dogs. Some seniors are incontinent. I use my steamer everyday. During the covid 19 self quarantine mine broke because my daughter put bleach in the water tank.

I couldn’t find this streamer anywhere, everyone was out of stock. I bought another one, different brand, it was ok but didn’t steam and clean the way this one does. Everyday I got more and more anxious waiting for this streamer to be available.

I finally got another one yesterday and I was using it within 10 minutes. Since this steamer is a really good price I ordered a second one that should be delivered today. Now I’ll have 3 steamers, 2 of this bissell steamer and the one off brand I bought when I was desperate.

I showed my daughter that I have a spray bottle of bleach and water that i spray the grout lines with then steam to not put bleach in the water tank. Thank you Bissell for making products, especially this steamer for heavy user people like me that have lots of rescue dogs that go through my house.

And still after we would clean using commercial disinfectant & enzyme, it would not go away unless we actually scrubbed the tile with Oxiclean. And no one ever wanted to do it and it cost a lot of time and money outside of business hours.

But bring out this machine as it can do a large room in an hour. So far we have had more success with using it with Oxyclean & orange brush (we have no tried any others). Now my employees don’t mind scrubbing using “Agatha” as we have named it.

She dances around the salon doing the dirty work. 😆. No more back breaking on our hands and knees. I just wish the brush attachment had bristles through the center as well. Since we figured out that the bristles have to be concentrated into the grout lines.

I doubt we will have to do that the second time with regular maintenance but our grout was really dirty to start. You also have to make sure that you wipe the grout lines with a towel afterwards. Mopping up the tile afterwards just simply isn’t enough.

But the grout is truly clean again that even the dogs no longer want to mark the tile due to the urine smell that would seep deep down into the grout no matter how much chemical or enzyme we would use.

I refinished the floors this weekend, and unlike scrubbing the floors by hand, the only time I had to get on my knees was the moment I was thanking God for this machine.

The Oreck Ultra with the pads I purchased (all bought at my local Oreck Store) is about the same cost of one strip and shine by a local floor company (which the floor needs yearly) and now I own the machine! I used the black pad with a cleaning solution to strip the old finish and smooth out the many, many scratches that had accumulated over the past months.

I used the terry bonnet to give it a once-over before letting it dry overnight. Today I applied the finish, and BAM! New floor, and I did it myself! I have wooden floors throughout my home and plan to use the Oreck on those as well.

WORTH EVERY PENNY. So easy to use (you can run it with one hand) and made in the USA. You can’t go wrong.

My hope was that this machine would restore a nice shine to the floor. I just can’t say that happened. Despite using the lambs wool pad, the floor was left more with a removal of things than a polish.

Even after applying a shine coat and polishing again, and I just didn’t get the desired results. From a positive standpoint, the machine is very easy to use. The machine did to better on a few spots in my carpet where my dog likes to lay.

Great product! I wish I would have bought it sooner! Alot of the negative reviews read simular to complaining that a walk behind/push mower won’t effectively mow through 2 ft. high thick grass without stopping or complaining that the dishwash didn’t remove/clean the queso from your crock pot that was left on for 3 hours.

com’on!? That being said, you will have to vaccum/sweep up prior to using, especially if you have dogs that shed or alot of debris as it does not function as a HEAVY DUTY vaccum (this isnt a shop vac) nor is it a rug doctor/deep carpet cleaner either.

Its very easy to use and makes cleaning bare floors nearly painless! I have 2 large dogs & 3 childern, so I “pre” vacuum before using every time. (Just like scrubbing the caked on queso) only if you have a Rumba type machine and use the Crosswave after it’s done most of the debris clean up, you dont even hVe to.

It’s amazing. The frequently mentioned “clean up” after using is comical, ITS NOT THAT HARD OR MUCH MORE WORK! As you would ring out a mop or rinse the bucket post cleaning. same concept, only on a much smaller, less messy scale.

You will have to let the filter dry before using, but you can purchase additional filters for next to nothing online (6 for 12 bucks). If you’re looking for an easy, convenient, hardfloor cleaning you won’t regret it!.

Crosswave experience: Everything was packaged well, very sturdy machine. I immediately entered the information into the warranty site and saved the login info in my phone so I can lose it when I upgrade my phone and spiral into self-loathing.

Easy to fill the clean water reservoir, the lines are very visible and idiot-proof (bonus). I vacuum my floors every day, sweep a few times a week, and have been mopping my floors religiously for the last few months.

I bought the corded model as I didn’t feel like paying $50 every time a battery dies or something with the warranty doesn’t cover it. It is middle of the line, price-wise, just like a bundled Expedia vacation to Las Vegas.

I spent about 20 minutes going over my kitchen and living room floors. Minimal water is left behind so a very quick dry time and minimal streaking. With that being said, I hate this machine. My opinion is solely based upon the fact that the water is black, sucked up tons of debris that was not picked up by a vacuum or broom, and I feel disgusting.

I will be redoing my floors 20x over until the water is clean. I realize my freeloading roommates as well as my husband and myself, track in a lot more grime than I was willing to admit, and now I have spiraled into yet another deep cleaning frenzy that I didn’t have the energy for earlier today.

I would much rather sit on the couch playing Minecraft Dungeons on the Xbox than incessantly vacuum mopping my floor. Go buy one.

This is the third Bissell 1940 I have purchased. 2 were gifts and one for myself. I would recommend this product to anyone with tile. You will be amazed on the cleaning power and how fast you can be done cleaning.

It will lift dirt you did not even realize was there. Scuff marks are never an issue, grout comes clean and bright, lifts soap scum caused by other cleaning product residue. The cord is long enough to enable you to move freely.

The 3 steam setting allows you to clean according to your dirt issue. I have used the steam to remove pet stains off of rugs with no issues, kids spilled drinks off of furniture. I would not hesitate to purchase again for myself or as another gift.

This has so many good features. I can wash the mop heads and get replacements. It honestly is ready is 30 seconds. Does a fantastic job with cleaning. The best part for me are the fragrance disc. They make the whole house smell clean.

It was one of my pet peeves with other steams, it looked clean, felt clean, but never smelled clean. This does!! Bought one for my Mom and she loves it also.

I purchased this unit because my original steam breathed its last recently. I was looking for a unit that could do both horizontal and vertical surfaces. I required some support from reliable regarding the handpiece that became very hot.

They were mostt kind and replaced it immediately acknowledging the handpiece should not get hot. The replacement arrived in just two days and is back in service. The brio generated mych kore steam than the steamboy and im able to clean dried dog drool off the walls in no time.

For new users- beware- it gets really hot! And it needs time to cool off before opening the reservoir to empty any leftover water. If it is hot, the safety cap can not be unscrewed. I have been able to clean a whote roman shade which my dog previously decorated.

I had previously used a cleaner which left visible rings. The steam cleaner has lifted the rings- they are nearly gone. There are a lot of attachments and I’m still trying to figure out what attachment will work best on all household surfaces.

A quick video on this unit describing the attachments, how to assemble the unit for the first time would be most helpful.

The product is well designed, large wheels with rubber for hardwood floor, plenty accessories. The provided container with all tools is a good idea but it is very cheap built. Most important, I used only once and it has a good flow of steam for a long time.

Steam temperature is lower than advertised at about 150F , but is should still sanitize. The green light in manual is actually a yellow light, Overall a good product.

It is easy to clean with. Love the water tank on wheels. My Bissell has the water tank on the wand so it is very hard to push back and forth. The floor look very clean. Very pleased!

I’ve been using this steam cleaner for a while now. I used it to completely clean an apartment that I was moving out of and the landlord was impressed with the cleaning job that we did. The carpet was a little trampled down in the high traffic areas and the stream treatment helped to bring it back to its former fluffy self.

I use it almost every weekend to clean my bathrooms and hard floors as well. I never have issues with steam productions and it has held up so far.

I’ve had my prosteam for a month. I absolutely love this product. It’s truly one of the very best investments I’ve ever made. My prosteam is everything that it is marketed to be. I’ve used throughout my home ie entire bathroom, all tile and wood floors, cupboards along with patio tile and slider windows and screens.

I have a couple steam cleaners that I use. One a big brand floor cleaner, the other a carry around to get everything else I possibly could. The Canister cleaner is both in one! I fill up one tank and can do not only my floors but with a quick press of a button my windows, appliances, sinks, tubs etc.

! And the water tank is huge! It cleans so much better and faster than my Shark ever did. If I would have known about this I would have saved up extra to buy this all in one Canister rather than the two separate ones.

I had no idea about this cleaner befor I received it for review. I have already told most friends that come over and will continue to tell others about it! It’s a great product! One of my favorite cleaning tools in my house!.
