20 Best Thread Count For Sheets Egyptian Cotton (2023 Updated)

If you want that feel of Percale or other Flimsy Blended sheets, these are not for you and frankly those are not for Me! These are 1200 thread count Egyptian Cotton and are slightly Weighty but Luxurious! Looking for a good quality sheet that will last and feel good on you at night, these are the ones.

You will sleep very well with these sheets. I Love Them!! Bought Navy and going back for White! Nite,Nite. Sleep Tight! Wish they came with 4 Pillow Cases??.

We have purchased multiple sets of these sheets over the last few years for our queen mattress. We had always raved about the quality; thick, soft, cool, and crisp. The fitted sheet locks around your mattress meaning no wrinkles! Three months ago we upgraded to a king so we purchased a new set.

After the first wash we noticed the edges of the sheets were already fraying. After about 1. 5 months of use they began pilling…my husband’s side got so bad that we had to buy a new, different, set as it was preventing him from sleeping.

Not sure what’s changed, but we never had any issues with past sets…and definitely never experienced ANY pilling. Let the dreaded hunt of the perfect sheet set begin again….

I bought these several years ago when they were on a one day sale and bought 2 solid and a stripe set back then. Some how they have disappeared except a flat sheet here and a pillow case there. After a couple or so years the elastic did get very stretched out which annoyed me but I also had teens that washed all wash on hot and fast speed.

And I’m sure over used detergent which eats away at elastic just as it does with bras. I’m saddened that there are reviews saying they pilled- ones I bought never pilled to this day. I wonder if the people having issues are hard on them when they wash them.

I am going to order and see. I hope they didn’t change the manufacturer.

These sheets are very thick and heavy compared to any sheets I’ve owned before. They are so heavy and bulky that, as a king size set, we wash the top and bottom sheet in separate loads. The seams and stitching appear to be high quality.

It leads me to believe they will last a very long time. My only disappointment is, and thus not five stars, that the cotton is not very soft fabric. On the bright side, that seems like it will only enhance the long lasting-ness of the sheets, but it wasn’t as snuggle into comfy as I had hoped for.

Good value for the money though.

These sheets really surprised me because I used to think that you had to get a crazy high thread count in order to feel quality but it’s not the case. The materials are vital and this Egyptian cotton is super smooth with little resistance, traction, and no roughness when you run your hand across them.

They feel amazing when you climb into bed after a shower and I laugh because I’ve noticed my husband and I both move our legs around to feel the smoothness when I first put them on. The craftsmanship is very nice and they seem to retain their fit well after a wash and still look great.

I really like that they don’t seem to retain heat, but rather have a cooling feel which may be due to the breathability of the lower thread count and better quality strands. I tend to get so hot while I sleep that I cling to my edge of the bed to feel airflow and ensure there is distance between another being that is putting out heat, such as my spouse or child that has snuck in.

So it seems that I’m getting a better quality of sleep by being comfortable wherever I’m resting. I may try these in a darker color next time for our camper because whatever sheets we bought the first time have me constantly needing a fan to get any rest.

The Fieldcrest Luxury Sheets 500 thread count Egyptian Cotton sheets are a good set of sheets for everyday use. They felt incredibly soft and smooth after taking them out of the packaging, but after washing them, they lost that smooth feel.

They are also quite wrinkly after machine washing and drying. The fitted sheet fit our mattress perfectly. The loose sheet fits nicely too and allows for enough extra to be tucked in under the mattress if you want.

The pillowcases also have a nice fit to them on my standard size pillows. They are still nice feeling and are comfortable to use. These seem like they will last a long time and will not come apart easily.

I am incredibly happy with these sheets.

I don’t know what I was expecting with these sheets, but I definitely didn’t expect such a higher level of comfort that I never knew I could experience. It felt like my body just melted into the bed when I first made contact with these sheets – which sounds like an exaggeration, but is not.

I told that these sheets keep their shape – keeping a certain level of crispness that you wouldn’t think is achievable, especially when they’re so soft to the touch. These are bright white, machine washable and, from what I’ve seen so far, do not dull with a certain amount of washes.

I didn’t know I would ever say this about bedding. but I absolutely love these Fieldcrest sheets!.

The Sobella 600 TC sheets: wanted these for our B & B. Initially washed them per the instructions. They came out of the dryer a complete wrinkled mess; all the smooth sizing had come out and cannot be put on guest beds.

I am looking to return these for a full refund. I don’t understand the reviews that haven’t addressed this issue.

Finally! Soft, cool sheets that actually fit my soft top mattress perfectly. Not too small that I risk breaking my fingers to get them on, and not too big that they bunch up at night. Soft, but they feel breathable and cool.

The Goldilocks of sheets. I hope you get more colors and re-stock these for a long time.

LOVE LOVE LOVE these sheets! We recently stayed in a hotel and I remembered to take a picture of the tag on the sheets and ordered a set while sitting in the airport to come home. I will never buy sheets from anywhere else as long as these sheets are still being made!!!.

Multi decade loyal TCS customer here. At least 95Z% satisfied with all of my TCS purchases & great customer service. After having bought several sets of the Cotton Bamboo Sateen Pillowcases, I had a modal birch (LOVE MODAL fabric & bedding!!!) fitted sheet that wore out.

I was delighted to find that TCS COTTON BAMBOO SATEEN line is available individually as well as in sheet sets. I bought a SAND BOTTOM FITTED SHEET and was just as impressed with it as I’ve been with the pillowcases.

I am really very impressed with the quality of this line. I decided to buy a complete sheet set as a back up to my other bed linens. I’ve bought most of my bedding from TCS through the years. beautiful high count cotton sateen sets in jewel colors.

They are still going strong many, many years since I bought them & the colors still vivid like Monet’s palate. I always buy full size sheets, but only the queen size SAND color was on sale, so I bought ta set.

I’m so glad I did. LOVE THESE SHEETS & CASES! Hope they continue to stock them.

I bought five other sheet sets and sent all of them back, looking for a lightweight, but not thin, set of sheets that wouldn’t be a wrinkled mess out of the dryer. This OCD gal has no time for ironing sheets weekly and just can’t be sleeping in wrinkled sheets.

My old set was from a high-end designer and had ripped, and I guess that company’s has gone downhill from that purchase because that brand, some big box home stores and several others didn’t pass the wrinkle test.

But The Company Store did! Gorgeously lightweight for summer weather, but still feel completely substantial. Silky and sensuous, I hardly wanted to go to sleep because the sheets felt So. Good. And not a wrinkle in sight.

They look just as good out of the dryer as they did the moment I removed them from the package. Trust on me this. it’s worth the extra few dollars for the one purchase of the year (and for the next 10) you won’t regret.

Love, love the color! These sheets come out of the dryer free of wrinkles, even though they are not a ‘wrinkle-free’ item. I have (other) bamboo sheets which a very soft and silky but wrinkle beyond what I can tolerate.

For this reason I tried The Company Stores cotton & bamboo sheets. They are not as silky soft as 100% bamboo, but very close. They are heavier yet still soft and relaxing to sleep on. The pillowcase is all I am concerned about where wrinkles are concerned and while there is some wrinkling after sleeping on the cotton/bamboo sheets, it is not nearly as bad as sheets made of 100% bamboo fibers.

My only complaint would be they are not quite wide enough; I only have a 15″ mattress and would like to be able to tuck more in on the sides. I would recommend and would purchase these again when needed.

Most important for me is the feel of the fabric, durability and of course, the appearance after laundering. While this is a very personal preference, supima cotton is top quality and reasonably affordable (if you search for a good price).

For many people it is still pricey, that is why I spend a lot of time searching and fortunately, ebay offers that opportunity. I don’t find negatives to point out, other than it would offer the best appearance if you could afford having your sheets ironed each time you launder them.

This “Charter Club 500 Thread Count Damask Stripe QUEEN Sheet Set White” is the best amount all Damask 500TC puma cotton series. 3 huge advantage for “500TC 100%Pima Cotton”: 1) The thickness and quality are almost as the regular 1000TC.

Egyptian cotton. 2) Pima Cotton is wrinkle free. 3) This 500TC Pima Cotton sheets last for many years, most durable. I tried about one dozen sheet set from different companies, from 500TC to 1000 TC.

This set is the best. They last for years. All other sheets are already broken after about 1 to 3 years, but my first set of “Charter Club 500TC Damask Stripe White Sheet Set” still like new after 5 years.

So now I only buy this one. Highly recommended to all!.

I was hesitant to hit the purchase button because Ive had to return at least THREE so called 800 TC Egyptian Cotton sheet sets in the past month. (Not purchased on EBay of course) This set is sold completely out at Macys so I waited to see if I could find them on EBay.

These sheets are a nice thick quality. Did not get rough and hard after laundering. Wrinkling is to be expected of fine Quality cottons and all of the wrinkles disappeared once i put them on my bed. I cant wait to find other colors.

I do HIGHLY RECOMMEND purchasing these.

This is the first time I’ve written a review on any product ever. Hoping to save someone else from wasting money. The bottom sheet pilled after the second wash. I have had them one month. No searching for a cool spot, instead they scratch my thighs and legs.

Was trying to find a replacement for BBB wamsutta. Failed. These are not even half the quality.

I would not recommend these sheets. I hate ironing sheets so I am careful to wash and dry bed linens according to the directions. These came out of the dryer very wrinkled and had to be ironed. The fabric at top of the flat sheet and the open end of the pillow cases was twisted and even after ironing did not lay properly.

I was going to purchase additional pillow cases but did not want to invest any more money in this inferior product.

Great sheets set! High quality for sure. Is a little big for our over-sized European queen bed but would rather it be a little big, rather than not big enough. I am enjoying sleeping in these sheets.

These sheets are more for cold weather sheets than for hotter weather months in my opinion.

The duvet cover itself is just fine and is working well for my purpose. The pillow cases are also very nice, although the envelope feature does not work with such a soft fabric. The sham covers, however, are not usable: for one thing, they are square, so don’t fit normal shams; and the very tailored hemming comes out of the washer hopelessly wrinkled.

If I could have used them, they would have needed serious ironing.

It’s all about the feel. From my past experiences. They get softer as they age. So simple to launder. Dry on low temp. Slightly damp, make your bed. Wrinkle-free when your ready to. sleep. Same with pillows.

These are nice. They are not as good as the CHRIS MADDEN sheets I bought 10 years ago. but times have changed. I can’t even find Corning Ware cookware anymore either. So, these sheets will do fine and the price was right.

It may sound daft, but all those fitted sheets we had been given by my mum didn’t fit our new mattresses; they didn’t go under properly. But it wasn’t important enough to replace them with new properly fitted under sheets.

Until we actually did. They look nice, and feel nice, a positive psychological reinforcement that helps me sleep.

I got this sheet set for three reasons: I wanted a back-up to my 1000 thread count sheet set, I was curious how the “step down” to 600 thread count would feel, and I wanted colors that better matched my existing bed covers.

The deep blue of these sheets is beautiful, and I don’t understand why the 1000 thread count set doesn’t come in such an obvious choice of color. The sheets feel great; they feel softer than the 1000’s right out of the box, but only time will tell if they will wear as well.

One thing to note: these sheets don’t have the extra elastic strap on the corners of the fitted sheet that the 1000’s do, and the elastic it does have isn’t as heavy duty. So far, though, the fitted sheet has stayed snugly tucked under my 16″ deep mattress, and we’re happy with them.

A deep pocket sheet that is actually a deep pocket!! And the bonus – they’re cool and comfy!! We have a Custom Comfort mattress, as thick as they come. But still wasn’t soft enough, so they made us a second topper, making the mattresses too big for their sheets.

I have probably purchased 8 different sets that claim to be deep pockets, but they’re not. I didn’t have high hopes because the cost of these sheets are inexpensive in comparison to others, but boy was I pleasantly surprised.

In fact I love them so much I just bought a second set. Thank you!!.

I had bought Kirkland Signature 680 thread count sheets at Costco which were super smooth and silky. They were under 70 bucks with tax and came with four king size pillowcases. Unfortunately they were only designed to fit beds up to 18 inches thick, so I would have to use fitted sheet straps on the corners which would pop off regularly.

I wish Costco would make these sheets for 22 in. thick mattresses! Anyhow the sheets I got from Egyptian Linens we’re terrible and rough. Literally The only positive I have to say about this sheet set it that it fits my super thick mattress a little better but still comes off one corner! I measured the thickness of my mattress at 20in but who knows maybe I am measuring it wrong.

I would not recommend the sheets unless the only reason why you’re buying it is to find a fitted sheet that fits-.

These are the most comfortable sheets and so soft and silky. The rayon bamboo sheets are breathable and no pilling. With the extra-deep fit, it goes well under my deep mattress and stays in place. I like the decorative banding on the top sheet and envelope style pillow cases.

I like the way this sheets are constructed and easy to wash and dry.

These are very ice sheets. They washed up well and are very soft to sleep on. I tend to sleep hot and these didn’t make me any hotter. I love that the are bamboo and are a sustainable sheet. They are white so would love to get them in more colors.

They fit my bed and didn’t have any issues with the corners coming up while we slept. Highly recommend!.

5 stars of comfort! I love these Simply Vera Bamboo sheets! So soft and comfy! Even my husband commented on them. Its like slipping into a fluffy cloud at night. I washed them multiple times now and they have held up perfectly.

Really lovely sheet! I bought extra deep for my 21cm mattress because I also bought a mattress protector from Belledorm. But later I realised that a regular deep sheet would do. If you’re also thinking of buying extra deep for a mattress protector, belledorm’s 30cm sheet could cover their protector nicely.

To start with, absolutely lovely, smooth, soft and silky. But after just a few weeks the surface has pilled, making the main areas you sleep on bobbly and rough. I gather this is a failing with a sateen weave and a percale weave is less likely to pill.

I bought Egyptian cotton for two beds, Washed one set twice and the material on one pillow case had small holes. The fitted sheet – the sewing came away at the mattress seams even though it is not a very deep mattress.

These sheets are very stiff, not sateen at all. They are very heavy to wash and took TWO normal cycles to dry. By the way I have a washer and dryer purchased new from Lowe’s one year ago. Very disappointed.

The Hotel Collection 680 sheets are a very nice fabric. Smooth, not thin, and have a good color selection. The color “Palladium” is a clean taupe shade, not too yellow or muddy gray.

Calif King fitted sheet shrank after washing in cold water and tumbled dry on low heat. Sheet will not stay in place on the mattress, it’s too small. Tried it on queen size bed, it’s too big. Emailed Seller twice, received no response.

Hotel Collection has become my favorite bedding. I highly recommend their line, but especially their Supima Cotton sheets. Extremely durable, softening with every wash, supremely comfortable, and TymeOutlest makes them affordable for the common guy.

I thought these sheets would be wonderfully cool and crisp and soft, but so far that is not the case. I’ve washed them four times and they don’t feel good. I actually put them on my bed and then took them off and put my old (Sferra) sheets back on! I use a gentle detergent made specifically for linens, so it’s not that.

Very disappointed! I would return them if I could.

The Matouk Classic Chain Duvet in Blue is simply beautiful! It’s understated in the best way possible. The quality is impeccable. It took my bedroom from an 8 to a 10. It was the little something extra I was looking for.

I have always loved Matouk products. This is my first 100% cotton sheets and I was initially taken aback after they came out of the dryer. After several washings I have come to love these sheets. The weight of the cotton and the fabulous chain link stitching makes me smile.
