20 Best Sunscreen Spray For Face Over Makeup (2023 Updated)

Incredible, my new favourite (and my boyfriend’s favourite, as he keeps stealing mine). The nozzle dispenses a beautiful mist onto the skin. It’s instantly cooling and hydrating. It doesn’t leave any residue; it’s lightweight and invisible, leaving my skin protected and with a beautiful glow! The scent is a little overpowering when you first spray it.

However, it doesn’t last. Instead, you are left with a gentle tropical scent. This will be my new regular and coming everywhere with me (a mist is excellent for topping up during the day). Can you tell I love it? I need the other scents!.

I love this brand. Many people take it as a “look good jar” brand. Well this is not true! (well, the jar does looks good, but the product is even better). We were 6 people at the beach for 4 days (from 8am to 6pm).

3 of us used Coola Sunscreen (me and my 2 kids ages 6 and 9. Our skin types are very pale skin and sensible, prone to allergies). The other 3 people, used other famous sunscreens (not so skin sensible, olive skin).

The 3 of us that used Coola, we tanned nicely and got some sun-kiss colour, and zero sunburn! The other 3, not so lucky, they all sunburned. Yes, this Coola sunscreen is pricy if comparing with other brands, but your skin has more value.

The smell is strong, but it’s so nice. The fragrance free is a good option too. Super recommend this product.

I burn easily and this spray keeps me covered. I’ve never burned with it and even in long days in heat and chlorine my sensitive skin isn’t bothered. Most sunscreens start to burn after awhile, but not coola.

I’m also really picky about smells and this stuff smells amazing which makes me want to reapply it. I wish you would bring back the bigger 9 oz bottle and wish all the fragrances were available in each SPF.

The only con is that the sunscreen has a slight orange tint, and has ruined my white coverup. I learned the hard way to make sure it’s dry before covering up.

I bought this sunscreen because I spend hours in the sun working in gardens. I have fair skin, which burns easily, and this sunscreen works. After two months of daily use, I noticed that the crepey skin on both arms had almost disappeared, and after four months of use, my arms looked more even toned.

Of course, sun damage can cause crepey skin, so it makes sense that a daily sunscreen could prevent crepey skin. The only change to my skincare routine was this sunscreen, which contains Senna alata, a medicinal herb.

I wonder if Senna alata played a part in making my skin look better. I also bought Anthelios HA Mineral Daily Moisturizing Cream with Mineral Sunscreen + Hyaluronic Acid, which I use on my face and hands.

It also contains Senna alata.

The sunscreen is horrible! The spray leaves white blobs on the face and burns the eyes like crazy. I put it on today right before the gym, as soon as I walked in, my eyes are red and burning, and tears are rolling down continuously.

I went straight to rinse them off and left right away. I could barely keep them open because of how irritated they were. I immediately rinse them with cold water, use eye drops and repeated this a few times at home.

This continued for over an hour. My eyes were bloodshot red. I would NOT recommend. I’d also call out that many of the reviews are for a tube-like spf, not the spray! The 1 star reviews are accurate to the product performance!.

I use the Anthelios Ultra Light Sunscreen (Face) for my face so I was super excited when I saw this product. My face product has a very matte, dry finish. This spray on did not have that same effect.

But I do think I oversprayed on my left arm and it was too much. I sprayed less on my right arm so the effect was much better. It still felt somewhat like an over-the-counter, sticky kind of spray. That being said, I like the product because I use the Face specific product & I like the 60 SPF.

Plus I can get to my back and shoulders.

**I received this product free from Live Poshly in exchange for my honest opinion/review. ** When I first received this product, I was kind of at a loss of how what to do with sunscreen in February in Washington State, especially while we’re still mid-quarantine.

After a week or so I popped open the lid to start acquainting myself with the lotion, and I must admit that this product was different in almost every aspect from the sunscreen products I have used in the past.

This shall be the sunscreen of my future! I am not a sun person and I almost look forward to the sunny days of Spring & Summer just so I get to use this. It has a pleasant sweet yet almost tart scent, reminiscint of a roll of Sweetarts candy; the smell is light but, if I put my nose right up against my skin, lingered for hours.

(Its been over 7 hours since application now and the scent has fully gone. ) Growing up I mostly used whatever sunscreen was around the house, which I remember as runny and greasy and not waterproof.

(As a child I would use the same stuff on my face as I would use on my body, but as I got into my teens that was less well tolerated by my face/pores. At about 15 I had pretty much come to shun the sun – not because I had learned anything about skin/sun health, but because that was the path I took through my highschool/90’s years – and in large part I still dodge the sun as much as possible, now because I *do* know about detrimental effects of the sun, in addition to other sensitivities I have.

) This product isn’t greasy in the slightest! Hydrating? Yes, and waterproof for up to 80 minutes. Information on the packaging, and expanded upon on the website, confirms that this product is Reef-Friendly, Vegan, Paraben/Gluten/Cruelty/Dye/Synthetic-fragrance-free, etc.

, and Made in the USA. I can’t say I have been able to test this product against actual sunlight, at least not longer than it takes to step out to the mailbox and back, at present, but my anticipatory confidence in this product is high & firm.

We’ve already rolled forward an hour, and the Vernal Equinox is mere days away, the Cadbury bunny is clucking atop its pile of sticky candy eggs, and Spring (at least where I live) has become less about April shower & May flowers and more a dress-rehearsal for Summer.

I expect I’ll have opportunities to see how this sunscreen performs sooner than later.

So this was my first time purchasing this specific kind of sunscreen from Bare Republic. I normally use the regular one that isn’t clear. Not a fan of the feel of the sunscreen. It has like little beads or something in it and feels weird as your putting it on.

My kids didn’t like it. It does dry clear so that is accurate. It doesn’t smell like mango to me but that isn’t a big deal. It’s the ingredients that I’m not a big fan of. It’s not as clean as I thought it was.

I much prefer their regular sunscreen. I wouldn’t buy again or recommend it if you care about what’s in your sunscreen. My kids are using it today so I will update later to share how it worked. *it did seem to work as they did not get sunburnt.

They didn’t stay out long so we did not need to reapply.

I’ve used this product for years, and don’t see any sign of stopping. I was glad they expanded their range into a darker tone, but wish they had even more color options. The darker color is perfect for me, but there are a thousand skin tones between light and medium brown ish.

This wears beautifully- perfects my skin for a no makeup look, or acts as a great base for my makeup. I rarely wear foundation anymore and just use this as my face makeup, but when I do want to wear foundation, it layers well over it.

I have no trouble with this mixing oddly with other products. I have super sensitive skin and this has never given me an issue. Feels silky, feels thick enough that I feel like I have adequate spf, and actually makes my skin look perfect.

Love it and will continue to use.

I wish this product was produced with different undertones. I love the fact that it is produced in shades but still. It enough for darker skinned women. I have to mix the light and tan shade together, however, it is still very warm on my skin.

It has an amazing formula that does not sink into your fine lines for the most part. I personally find it very drying but I have very dry skin. So I get around this buy applying a thick moisturiser and a few drops of facial oil.

The two important things is to create different undertones and also create darker shades for darker skin. Also as a side note, people always think I’m wearing foundation/concealer- I don’t really wear makeup.

But for ladies that do, this may be a winning formula. So as to save 💰.

This is a tinted sunscreen. I enjoy this SPF quite a lot. It’s hard for me to find a sunscreen that isn’t too heavy, gives me a terrible white cast, or breaks me out. And this product does none of those things! Now as far as coverage goes, it’s next to none.

You won’t find any type of coverage in this product. The tint is there specifically to battle the white cast, that is all. And it does that beautifully. My only negative thing to say about this is that upon initial application, it is very greasy! This could be user error, as I use quite a lot of it to get the full protection.

In doing so, it makes my skin look VERY OILY. I mean, greaseball oily. I’m not a fan of that. However, it does dry down semi-matte. Which I DO like. But that takes time, in the meantime, I feel look so greasy.

This is a very veryyyy creamy product. Other than that, it’s a really nice sunscreen. I use it daily under makeup, or all on it’s own. All in all, I would recommend it.

Let me start off by saying that I absolutely abhor thick greasy sunscreen. Even though every skincare article rants about having sun protection on, I would rather go out with no sun protection (or avoid going out all together) than put on greasy sunscreen.

My friend recommended Shiseido’s line of sunscreens and I usually don’t like spray-on stuff but this was the only one I found in my local Shoppers Drug Mart so I got it. The price tag is pretty hefty for sunscreen as this is like 2x the price of drugstore sunscreens.

However, as promised, this sunscreen is not oily at all, doesn’t feel like I have anything on. It came out very liquid and I was surprised at first. I wasn’t sure how much to apply onto my face because it’s so liquid, I didn’t know if it had enough coverage.

I wiped two layers on and it was fine. It actually gives my skin a glowy sheen but not oily feeling. It dries very quickly due to the alcohol (which can be very strong, I hold my breath when I apply this on my face).

That is the only con I found for this sunscreen. If your skin is sensitive to alcohol I don’t recommend using this sunscreen because it does have a strong alcohol scent. Otherwise, I like this sunscreen.

Would repurchase or try more sunscreens in the Shiseido line.

I was looking for a sunscreen mist that is light, non-greasy, translucent. This is it. I can apply sunscreen fast, easy and not worry about blending the white caste or staining clothing. The fragrance is really strong but I actually like the smell, so if you are sensitive to smell, I’d avoid this one.

I hope it can be sprayed on top of makeup but the product description says that it should not be sprayed directly onto face. I think if I cover my eyes with cotton pads and spray it onto my face directly, it should be fine.

I can imagine that it corporates with makeup really well.

I’ve used Shiseido sunscreen products for over 20 years and have always had excellent experience. When this spray version appeared, I thought it might be great for on-the-go use when out and about, especially in the summer.

I keep it in my bag when walking around town–even my husband uses it in a pinch. I am a fair red-head, so have always used sunscreen. I’ve never burned whenever using Shiseido products. Some can leave a slight white-cast that diminishes after application, but this spray does not have the white cast issue.

Directions expressly say “do not spray directly into face. Spray on hands then apply to face. ” Of course, we all know that the convenience of spraying onto the face so as not to disturb makeup is proabably why one might want to purchase this.

so in order to minimize issues, HOLD YOUR BREATH (it states that you must avoid breathing it in and use in a well-ventilated area, out of the wind) CLOSE EYES TIGHTLY AND KEEP THEM CLOSED UNTIL PRODUCT DRIES.

Keep holding your breath until the spray dissipates from the air. Seriously. You do not want stuff getting into your lungs or your eyes. It is great for your scalp due to easy application. I can’t say enough good things about this product both in it’s efficacy and convenience.

I use this every summer while doing yard and garden work, on the water , or relaxing in the sun. I have a higher risk of melanoma thanks to the BRCA2 hereditary gene mutation, and family history , though I love to have colour on my fair skin, I use caution.

I have trust in the 30 SPF. It allows me to obtain a glow, while protecting from harmful rays and sunburn. The gel is easy to spray just where I need it in hard to reach areas. Absorbs well. It seems a combo lotion and oil consistency.

Very moisturizing. I love the instant bronzer, it actually makes my skin tone appear deeper before I am tanned so I’m not glowing pale as the moon when I’m first going out in the sun. The bronzing sheen and sparkle effect does wash away during a shower,it’s not a self tanner,but I’m left with natural deeper colour.

I can wear for up to 2 hours before reapplying depending on sweat, water, moisture. The scent is tropical and smooth- pineapple, coconut, lime. I often wear a browning lotion over the AG once absorbed with the 2 products working well together, and no sunburn.

I’ve used on my face , it does sting my eyes if I get any in, but otherwise good results without breakouts, and in my hair. I like finding this on sale as a BOGO, that way in always stocked for summer, and for travel and vacations.

For a sunscreen I’m kind of picky. To me is important that it’s lightweight, doesn’t leave a greasy skin (typical oily skin problems) and doesn’t feel sticky. I love the formula of this sunscreen. It’s light, stays nicely and is hydrating.

I use my daily moisturizer before putting this sunscreen and I’m so glad I can enjoy the sunlight without feeling like my skin is all oiled up. I’d say this is nice for anyone, whether you have tan or not.

If you’re pale and want to get a bronze skin then this is the right product, if you have a tan this will enhance it and still will give you a nice golden, bronze glow. ✨.

This product is my go to for summer or a getaway when I need sunscreen! The sprayer dispenses the perfect amount of product and is even. The formula is not greasy like some other spray on ones and is 100% effective against the harsh sun during a day at the beach!.

Living in Arizona, wearing sunscreen is a must throughout the year. I love this spray from Trader Joe’s, first of all it’s fantastic value and easy to find! (It isn’t in stores right now but I’m hoping it will be back soon ready for the summer season.

) The spray applies smoothly and evenly so it’s easy to get full coverage fast. It’s clear so leaves no white residue and sinks into the skin nicely. It only feels greasy for the first minute after application and then dries so you can barely feel it.

It also works well, I never get burned while using this sunscreen!.

This sunscreen is truly amazing! Fine mist and great smell. It also drys super fast! I dropped this and so it leaks a little from the cap, but still sprays great! This packaging is also so cute and the feel of the bottle is super smooth and satisfying.

Super nice smell, creamy, gives a beautiful glow(!!)

I love how Austrian Gold offers a continuous spray formulation of their sunscreen in various SPF levels. The scent is pleasant, it dries nicely on the skin and doesn’t feel or look sticky or oily. I don’t always re-apply sunscreen as frequently as I should whenever I have makeup on, but this makes it really easy and convenient to do since it doesn’t disrupt your foundation.

You also get a decent amount of product with good ingredients at an affordable price. Highly recommend, especially if you have trouble finding sunscreens that don’t leave a white cast or streaks all over your skin.

Also, on a side note. I’ve been seeing a ton of misleading and false information about sunscreen going around lately online and even here in the product reviews, so I thought I’d provide some information that’ll hopefully help clear up some of the confusion.

To the people wondering if this sunscreen is free of chemicals, the answer is no, and you’re not going to find one that is. All skincare ingredients, including water, are chemicals so there’s no such thing as a truly “chemical free” sunscreen.

The two types of ingredients used for sun protection are mineral (aka “physical”) and synthetic, which is sometimes referred to as “chemical”. There are 2 mineral sunscreen ingredients (titanium oxide and zinc) and over 30 synthetic ones (the most common include: oxybenzone, octinoxate, octisalate, and avobenzone).

Both types are equally protective and there is nothing inherently better or worse about formulas that contain mineral vs. synthetic sunscreen ingredients. It really just comes down to personal preference, but the bottom line is that they protect your skin from sun damage and you’re not going to get better or “safer” coverage using one over the other.

That’s a pretty bold statement, I know! BUT, this is one of the best sunscreens that I have bought. No weird white residue, it goes on great and it lasts and lasts! It also smells insanely good, I would buy it as a regular lotion because its so wonderful.

Great protection, just wish they made a larger size! It’s also kind of hard to find so when you see it, GET IT!.

We picked this up on our way to the beach a while back and fell in love with the formula. My hubby doesn’t like sunscreens and bug sprays bc of the way they feel on his skin, but he doesn’t complain about this spray at all.

In fact, he proactively asks for it. I love how easy it is to apply and also how quick. But honestly, my favorite thing is the scent. It makes me happy and if I could get it as a perfume, I would. Now I want all my products to come in this scent.

This is an EASY 5/5 stars for me. I have tried many, many sunscreens until I found this one and I will be STICKING to this one like glue. Finally found an end to a seemingly endless search for a sunscreen that works.

I have sensitive skin so when it comes to chemical/inorganic filters, whether it be American, Korean or Japanese, my skin starts to burn after daily application. Which sucks, because I never enjoyed using mineral/organic sunscreens.

That is until (***drumroll please***). this Sun Bum product was recommended to me by Liah Yoo, YouTuber and founder of Krave Beauty. I’m white and not too concerned with white casts, so my main dislike of mineral sunscreens stems from pilling and consistency.

THIS CHECKS EVERY BOX THOUGH. It’s consistency and application are like a dream; it’s buttery smooth and gives me soufflé vibes. MOST IMPORTANTLY, THIS DOES NOT PILL. And though I said I was never too concerned with white casts, this does not leave one at all.

Plus, it gives my skin a boost. Kinda like a my-skin-but-better look. And c’mon, even the packaging is sleek and cool, and the pump is perfect. The only drawback for me is the banana smell. But guys, the smell is light and fades within seconds of application.

I ordered this thinking I could wear this over my makeup throughout the day since I work outside. It says that it’s a face mist and can be used as a setting spray. So I was excited about thus. I loved how fine the mist was.

Mt first impression was it was a little shiny and oily looking. But if it protected my skin that would he fine. I got to work and maybe 20 mins later it’s in my eyes I keep rinsing my eyes and it’s still burning.

Throughout the day I kept having to rince my eyes and it was burning all day. I didn’t realise untill I got in the car how horrible my eyes looked they are so red and swollen. And they burn. I took a bath and washed my whole face twice I keep flushing my eyes but they feel a little better but they still are bright red and swollen and sting.

I bought this thinking it was a face mist. Since that’s what it’s called. I feel lied to and I feel like this is false advertisement. It also says it’s sweat resistant it seems it’s not since it ran straight into my eyes once I started working.

And I wasn’t even dripping sweat.

I use this product daily. Smells really good, it does the job of protecting my skin. This product doesn’t leave my skin feeling sticky or greasy like other sunscreens. I don’t have anything bad to say about this product it’s great and the price is great!! 🌞.

I really wish I could like this but I cannot get over the smell. It is SO STRONG and I can’t put my finger on it but it straight up smells like some 80s perfume mixed with aquanet. I sprayed this in our 2 garage (which has a whole other room opened up on the other side so essentially it’s almost a 4 car garage) and the smell was so strong I had to open the doors to get rid of the smell.

The only thing I liked is that I felt that it didn’t leave me as shiny as other spray on sunblock.

Smells fine not like sunscreen. A little hairspray and perfume like but not bad and is gone quickly. Not greasy or shiny either. I can spray this on my arms and not feel sticky running errands. I have very fair skin and live in the south so I have to wear something daily.

I think this does the trick and the price isn’t too bad either.

This product has decent ingredients, especially for an aerosol formulation, and it is super convenient to use. The spray is lightweight and even and allowed me to quickly reach the desired coverage. The nozzle also performs just as it did the day I bought it!.

I have been enjoying the benefits of this Alba Day to Day mist for about a month now. I am excited because I am able to use it to prime my skin before applying make up as well as on top of my makeup.

It provides so many benefits. It is non messy because it is a light spaying mist that goes on even. There is no need to rub it in after it is applied. It is light on the skin and doesn’t clog my pores.

My skin is protected for an extended period of time and I don’t have to think too much about remembering to reapply. I have been loving it so far and would recommend this product especially to my friends and family that wears makeup.

I love the idea of this, but it is a lot. It makes your face greasy so, I would not use it over or under makeup. I think it is great on skin with no makeup. The smell is overpowering. You cannot spray it directly on the face so what is the point of having it in a spray bottle.

It says to not inhale the spray which is concerning. What is in it? I love the concept, but the formula needs to be changed so that it can actually be sprayed directly on the face and so the smell isn’t so overpowering.

I love this spf face mist! It is so convenient that its a spray. I prefer to spray it on my face after my morning skincare and makeup. It doesn’t leave a white cast and it feels very light. I don’t always like to apply a cream moisturizer with all of my skincare products and that’s really why I love this.

A spray is super lightweight and it’s hard to find a good one to apply over makeup. I’m so glad I found this one, its great!.

I adore this sunscreen! I have both the 50SPF and the 70SPF varieties, and interchange depending on my sun exposure and level of dress. I’ll use the 70SPF for running in a sports bra or beach/ pool days.

50SPF is for days I’m walking in a park or wandering town in shorts or a sundress. Pros: Offers great protection so that I don’t burn, sprays out weightlessly, and doesn’t dry down greasily. And it’s really easy to reapply! And while this is pricier than some other SPF sprays, at least the ingredients are more nourishing for the skin on your body than others.

Only con is the really strong scent, which is tropical, but interferes with perfume. And it smells like coconut, so it makes me hungry lol. Would recommend for almost everyone, except for those sensitive to fragrance.

I got this as a backup just to make sure I could get my own back covered on a beach trip. Usually I use lotion. I’m just loving the gentle scent, the ease of use, and the less messy application. I do rub it in quickly after spraying to ensure even coverage (move fast, because it dries quickly) and then need to wipe my hands off, but it’s still less messy than lotion.

It has provided great protection for my young child and I, who both have very fair skin. We’ve worn it in direct sunlight on the beach during peak hours and neither of us got even slightly pink. The only real downside is the cost.

It gets used up far faster than a bottle of lotion around the same price point.

I was able to get a very nice tan without burning! I bought the stick to use on my scalp because I was unable to find the SunBum scalp sunscreen, and it worked just fine.

• Both are scented coconut, and the spray did irritate my active eczema (that was raw, cut, and open) on my neck. The stick worked beautifully on my neck though- it applied wonderfully, moisturized it, and protected it from the sun.

I also ended up using the stick on my earlobes too! It’s very versatile. RATE: • 9️⃣/🔟, only because of the scent and it may irritate sensitive skin or active eczema. The stick was a great alternative for these areas as it did not irritate it one bit.

I definitely will switch to this sunscreen for the summer and continue to test it out! I really enjoyed it on my trip 🏝.

My sister nd I love this unscreen. This isn’t sum sponsered post or anything. We bought these items with our own money. Hands down one of the best chemical sunscreens almost no white cast! It’s great for our dark skin tones.

Worst sunscreen I’ve used in my 10+ years of surfing. Never write reviews but I want to warn people of its terrible slime/greasy effect. Never used a sunscreen with so much grease. As a surfer I bought this because of the “non-greasy” advertising.

Which is essential for me to stay on a board. This sunscreen is so slimy that anyone trying to use a board I was on slips off and can’t use it until it’s sunscreen grease is scrubbed off 🙁 not for sport use whatsoever.

Was given the nickname “slime surfer” because of using this sunscreen ONE time. Funny but embarrassing. I’m sure it’s fine for tanning use, but it’s DEFINITELY not as advertised and you will slide all over the place.

Huge rookie move buying this for water sports.

When I say this smells like alcohol I mean it smells as if you’ve drenched your face in vodka and then slathered Vaseline on top. The shine is crazy? I bought this product because Garnier was out of stock and has been for a while – this is my biggest product purchase regret this year.

I also bought the bondi sands fragrance free spf 50 cream and that’s also really oily and looks like I slathered Vaseline on. Awful products.

This is the third or fourth time I’ve bought this product. I’m a big pixi fan and use loads of their mists in general which I love. I’m also allergic to soooo many sun creams especially on my face so when you find one that works you stick with it and I like that this can be popped in your handbag and repeatedly applied throughout the day which feels moisturising and can go over makeup if I’m wearing any.

Even the kids don’t seem to mind it as it’s such a fine mist it’s really quick to apply. I’ve read other reviews complaining about the application in the past but never had a problem. until this bottle! instead of a fine mist it squirted all over the place.

A bit gutted it’s obviously something they need to work on but ultimately I really like the product, just let down with the packaging. Sort it out pixi!.

The spray is quite nice but I don’t recommend it for after makeup unless you have a beauty blender on hand or you don’t mind a few splotches of sunscreen on your face. If you spray at a far enough distance, most of the time it lands as a decently fine mist on your face.

However, once in a while you can see a few white splotches on your face. While they are easily patted in if you don’t wear face makeup, they can get a little frustrating. I often try to avoid my eye area just because I prefer not to have my eye makeup ruined with sunscreen.

However, if you put this on before makeup and you rub it in, it works great. But if that’s the case, you might as well use a normal sunscreen. I still enjoy the convenience and the product feels refreshing and nice on the face.

I may not purchase again but I’ll still continue using it.

The mist probably means you’re probably not dispensing enough for a proper application but I never know how you’re meant to reapply sunscreen when you’re already wearing makeup, so I bought this hoping it’d be better than nothing.

There are some pretty good ingredients and it says even dry skin can use this, but this was made for dry skin imo lol. It looks kinda shiny on normal skin, so when I reapply I like to blot off the oil and then powder before I use 3 sprays on my face.

I like it the product though and it comes with a decent amount, so I’ll probably repurchase it.

Bottom line is I really like this product. I’m going through it way too fast though. It is also sticky and very shiny, but the shine doesn’t bother me. I always pat it into my skin after applying which helps.

It smells great and very nice for on-the-go protection from the sun.

Love using this midday after I have used my regular sunscreen in the morning. Fits in my purse well. Spray isn’t too sticky.

Yes, it is a chemical sunscreen. Yes, there is a LITTLE chemical smell when you first apply. Yes, it IS a small bottle for the price. HOWEVER. This is the perfect sunscreen for reapplication – it fits easily in your purse/bag, has a high spf for a spray sunscreen, smells very subtly but wonderfully like floral peaches, and leaves a really nice glow to your skin.

As a super pale human, I need to reapply basically every 25 minutes or I will fry like an egg. This is one of the few light/No feel sunscreens that keeps me from feeling my skin burning in the sun vampire style.

This is a nice option because it is quick, and not at ALL messy or sticky. For face/neck/arms, I find a bottle in my purse usually lasts me all summer for reapplication (about 3-4 months). It’s also really nice in situations where you don’t want to get your hands slimy- tossing this in my dry bag while kayaking is really nice- one hand application and no sliminess while trying to paddle (or hold on to my paddle).

Habit did it again! The N°39 mister not only provides great protection for my skin but also smells fantastic. It’s a very soft floral scent with a hint of sweet peaches. The convenient size of the bottle fits in any purse, I always have mine on me.

Which makes reapplying sunscreen throughout the day SO easy. Big plus, you can apply it on over your make up without messing it up! Protecting my skin from the sun is so important to me and trying to find something that’s effective, convenient, and affordable has been a journey long in the making.

Habit hits all the requirements I wanted for a sunscreen. It’s a huge win for skin care. I’ve been recommending Habit since their first N°41 mister because it is such an easy step to add to your skincare routine.

I have each fragrance of HABIT, and this one is my favorite. With a name like White Peach Neroli, it sounds like it would be overwhelmingly sweet and venture into bubblegum territory. Yet, it is light, refreshing, and playful.

I love the convenient size. It is perfect for throwing in your handbag, your back pocket, or just keeping it on your vanity as a finishing touch after doing your make up. I love that it gives your skin a subtle sheen without being greasy.

I find that if it feels too heavy, you’re simply spraying it too close to your face. If you have been on the shelf about whether to pick this up or not, take this as your sign to purchase it now.

It works BUT it really STINGS my eyes after an hour -and that is without getting wet or sweaty. Worried about applying enough and their website says to spritz SEVEN times for full coverage. Their website also says there are 30 measured sprays.

I’ve used it 3 times and have gone through a third of the pricey little bottle, with 3 to 5 spritzes each time and not the recommended 7. It leaves a very shiny glow BUT it does seem to work. I tried spraying it on my fingers and pasting it in and that doesn’t really work.

You have to spray it on. I bought mine directly through Habit before I realized Sephora carried it. Habit does NOT allow returning products that have been opened and used. Had I purchased it from Sephora, I probably would’ve returned it since it stings my eyes.

I went into Sephora looking for a sunscreen and came across this. At first the price and the fact that it only is 38 sunscreen broad-spectrum, I was a little hesitant to purchase it. For $30 I was expecting a lot more for my book.

But it was new and I wanted to give it a try. It is travel friendly, some thing you can pull out and use, and it smells great. I love the fact that it leaves your face feeling refreshed and not dried out.

I’m sure there are other products out there that are cheaper and can deliver a lot more with the scan. But in case you can’t find your regular sunscreen and this is the only one on the market or in the store, I would give it a try.

It does come in to flavors, but I ended up going with this one.

i bought this after getting instagram ads for it, and super sad that this is totally *not it*. it is a very tiny bottle, about the size of a mccormick spice bottle which makes it great for transporting around for re-application in a small purse.

however, i hate re-applying sunscreen with this. the mist is so fine that it goes every but where i want it to. literally i have to spray it inches away from my face and the smell is quite harsh that up close, not v cucumber-y.

but $30+ for such a small product? super bad value. i have been telling all my friends who love sunscreen to stay far away from this product.

To my fellow super sensitive, acne prone, always-breaks-out-when-uses-sunscreen people…don’t hesitate for one second on buying this! I tested this out over the record breaking heat wave we had out here in LA this labor day weekend, and oh my GOD! It’s magic wrapped in a refreshing scent.

It doesn’t leave my skin sticky, it doesn’t burn my face or eyes and it didn’t budge any of my makeup either. I used it after my regular face sunscreen/to set in my makeup for the day, and also used to reapply to make sure my skin was protected from the harsh sun.

The mister is perfect, it’s super fine and doesn’t leave my skin insanely wet like a lot of sprays do. The scent isn’t too strong, it has very light floral/citrus notes- i’m sensitive to smells and this was something I was cautious of when first trying but I found myself excited to spray throughout the day.

My skin looked so dewy and fresh after using this, it’s the perfect pick me up + perfect, easy way to reapply sunscreen and the size of the bottle fits in all my purses! This is a new, all year around staple for me.

I got this complimentary from Habit in exchange for my honest review. I have been wanting to try this spf mist for a while now and was super excited when I got it. Here are my thoughts: What I liked: 1.

It is easy to apply and reapply through out the day. If you have kids who shy away from rubbing spf on their face, this will be a god send. 2. It is easy to carry in your bag. 3. It is broad spectrum and SPF 41 4.

It is cruelty free and free of synthetic fragrances 5. Leaves a beautiful glowy finish. 6. it is priced at $30 for 0. 9fl oz which I felt is a fair price. What I didn’t like: 1. It has a bunch of essential oils which give it a strong fragrance and because I have sensitive skin, I try to stay away from fragrances and essential oils.

I hope Habit considers making the same formula without essential oils in the future. Overall, I like this spf and would recommend trying it if your skin doesn’t react negatively to essential oils. For me, I will use it for reapplication once in a while, but mostly use it for my kids who don’t like rubbing sunscreen on their face but think mists are cool.

I thought I was going to really like this product but the truth is that I’m very disappointed. There are other well known brands that offers a better SPF protection and with way more product in it. It doesn’t have a pleasant scent, is very herbal but not in a relaxing, smooth way it smells more like bug spray, like citronella if you like.

I sprayed my face before going out, and after 10 min my eyes were burning and itching so bad, imagine this happening while you are driving cuz that’s what I was doing. I know other sunscreen also run and get into your eyes sometimes but this is a spray is hard for it not to get close to your eyes, and this has happened every time I use it.

Not with the other brand I got to test. It’s really not worth the price but since I had to pay full price for it I’ll just use it if I don’t have to go far and definitely not driving. I would NOT recommend this product.
