I picked up this shampoo when I had just got my hair colored blonde. I was looking for an affordable shampoo, but quality, And I didn’t feel like spending $30 for the shampoo at my salon. In the past, I’ve used Nexxus before, And although I haven’t had the best luck, I wanted to try again because this particular shampoo Was an allure Beauty winner.
The first thing is I don’t care for the smell has a chemical smell. Shockingly it makes my hair incredibly soft. Also, I wait about a month Before I go and get my roots done, and this shampoo kept the color, kept my hair color looking vibrant, Shiny & soft.
Also, I don’t wash my hair every day. I probably wash my hair about three times a week, and I find that the shampoo helps get the grease out without using a clarifying shampoo which I prefer not to because a clarifying shampoo does strip the color.
So it’s nice that I have that shampoo as an option; not only does it help with the grease, it keeps my color vibrant, my hair is tangle-free also it doesn’t strip out the natural oils of my hair or the color overall I would recommend the shampoo the only thing I wish is that the smell was a little bit better, but I’m willing to continue to use it because there are more pros than cons.
I bought this shampoo and conditioner in a pinch because I needed a color safe shampoo and saw the 2 pack of this shampoo and the conditioner and so I bought it. BIG MISTAKE. I’m glad after reading other reviews on here that I am not alone because I honestly thought it was just me, my hair has never been more greasy, scalp has never been so itchy, and my color faded so quickly in only the short amount of time I was using this product.
I HATED wasting all that money but this is probably the worst “color safe shampoo” if you can even call it that. that I’ve ever bought. please don’t be like me, read reviews on shampoo’s before you buy it’ll save you time, energy, and your hair.
I used the Nexus Assure Shampoo and Conditioner , these two products together are amazing. They work very well together, they make my hair so soft. Before Covid started I was going to the beauty shop weekly, and I had my hair very short.
I can honestly tell you since I have been using this product my hair is is down the middle of my back now, the growth is unbelievable. My husband loves the way my hair has grown. I saw so many bad reviews, I had to give my honest review.
Defying Orchid Oil Shampoo and Conditione Protect color-treated tresses with this high-potency blend with orchid extract and grape seed oil. It helps to slow premature fading and lock in color. Moisture and replenish strands for multi-faceted tones and salon perfect color that lasts.
OGX Damage Remedy + Coconut Miracle Oil Shampoo & Conditioner definitely strengthened my color treated hair. I love the packaging that stands out among my other shower products. The round bottles don’t topple over easily and are easy to open and close tightly.
The scent is lovely and lasts for hours after washing my hair. Styling has been a lot easier because of how smooth and strong my hair is after using for 2 weeks. I have dry hair, but my preteens have quite oily hair and I can tell it is balancing out both hair types.
Mine is moisturized and theirs is less oily. I would recommend this to families who want to save money buying one type of shampoo and conditioner instead of multiple systems for different hair. A little goes a long way and works for our varying hair types.
I was super excited to receive this to try. I had always heard good things about the brand but never tried before and feeling really in need of some help with my hair(split ends, breakage, dullness but oily at roots and dry looking and feeling to touch, frizz, etc) but personally my hype was way higher than what the product actually deserved.
Firstly the bottles are nice & pretty. Shampoo & conditioner smells pretty darn good but as far as actually doing much for my hair or improving it, it fell way short. Hair doesn’t look any better or healthier, doesn’t look anymore ‘alive’, does not feel any softer.
It just basically cleans my hair and that’s it. Overall not a bad shampoo & conditioner – if that’s all youre really looking/hoping for. As far as getting any wanted positive results from it – this isn’t what I’d suggest.

I purchased this color safe shampoo based on the recommendations on beauty professionals in my area, and also because I am a big fan of Oribe products. I started using Oribe products when I went to a salon that used Oribe and pretty much all the products that I’ve used I have liked.
I purchased this particular shampoo because I get highlights, and I wanted to prolong the life of my color gloss. I am a fan of Oribe and have other Oribe shampoos to compare it with, and I sometimes mix it with the Oribe Moisture and Control Shampoo in the green bottle and the Oribe Gold Lust Shampoo in the black and white bottle.
I think that this shampoo for color treated hair is best for prolonging color, and I have noticed that my glaze has lasted a bit longer than when using other shampoos. I personally prefer the moisture and hydration from the other two shampoos that I mentioned compared to this shampoo, but I do like the shampoo a lot.
I do feel that the Moisture and Control Shampoo does provide a lot of moisture and hydration, I have that masque too and love it. The Oribe Gold Lust is good for damaged hair or when trying to prevent split ends.
The shampoo for the blonde hair is also a great shampoo, which a hairstylist used on me for years and I recommended to a family member. I think Oribe products are excellent and I have been pleased with most Oribe products that I purchased.
I recently switched to using this shampoo and other Oribe shampoos from the Olaplex shampoo and it is definitely worth the extra money! The products are a little expensive, although they are the best quality of any other beauty products which I have purchased.
The products are vegan and cruelty free. I will re-purchase this product again in the future!.
I have been using Oribe Magnificent Volume shampoo for years, and have raved about it to everyone. I have fine hair and it has been the best volumizing shampoo that I have ever tried. When Oribe had their once a year sale a few weeks ago, , I ordered a Liter of what I thought was my favorite shampoo! I had accidentally ordered Beautiful Color.
I actually have colored my hair with blonde highlights for years, but I have always felt it was better to concentrate on the volume than the color. I had already opened the Liter, and filled my empty Magnificent Volume with the new shampoo that I hadn’t realized was the wrong one because the color of the bottles are very similar.
I was very unhappy because the products are expensive, and for the first time I invested in a Liter which will last a very longer time. I used the color shampoo, and must say my hair came out very nicely after two washings.
I expected my hair to be flat, but it definitely has volume. I was expecting to have to give the liter away, but it appears to be working well. I also have used volumizing conditioner, Gold Lust conditioner, maximista and volumista styling sprays.
The only product that I’ve tried that was absolutely the wrong product for fine hair was the sample I chose when I ordered the Liter was Royal Blowout for heat styling. It made my hair completely flat and looked greasy right after I washed my hair.
At first I thought it the the new Beautiful Color shampoo, but I realized it was Royal Blowout. I usually take the advice of my stylists for the best products for fine hair, which is how I learned about Oribe, but I ordered the sample of the Royal Blowout on my own, not knowing it would not be good for my hair.
Overall, as I have done for years, I highly recommend Oribe, it’s a wonderful company!!.
I used this shampoo for years along with the matching conditioner. Although pricey it is hands down the best shampoo for colored hair. My hair is dark brunette naturally and I went totally blonde in my early 30s for about 5/6 years, had root color ever 6 weeks w/ complimentary highlights throughout as needed.
My hair was certainly processed but this shampoo along with the conditioner kept my blonde bright and beautiful – it’s not a purple shampoo specifically for blonde, I think this would work wonders on any color treated hair.
My hair was never dry or dull and always manageable. I had little to no damage/split ends/breakage, I give credit to my stylist for being a master colorist but also for using this shampoo and oribe’s entire product line.
Huge fan. Well worth the price – a little goes a long way. Buy it you won’t regret it. Also my hair is normal, not thick or fine – it left to dry without styling it has a slight wave to it. I don’t find this shampoo to weigh my hair down.

Rebuild disulfide bridges Strengthens and hydrates damaged hair Facilitates modeling Gives luminosity and shine to hair Protects you from falling How to use: Apply to damp hair, massage and rinse thoroughly.
Continue with the application of Olaplex # 5 conditioner. Always apply after using Olaplex # 3.
When I initially started using this everything was perfect, it made my hair shiny and it was the first shampoo and conditioner duo that left my hair moisturised but not weighed down, it was so bouncy.
I was obsessed, I had fine natural Afro hair that’s very curly but not coily and was an inch below bra strap when stretched. I had a bit of shedding but nothing alarming and I had recently swapped to finger detangling before a wash so I figured it was because I wasn’t getting enough of the shed hair out with fingers alone in the steps prior.
I was loving the strength, shine and health of my hair so I didn’t think too much of it. I used it once a week for two months before I bleached my hair. After the dye that’s when it all went seriously south.
I got other Olaplex products so alternated between this shampoo and a moisturising shampoo. Using other shampoos made me realise my hair would shed triple the amount with Olaplex shampoos (no_ 0,3,5 and 8 work perfectly fine for my hair.
Only the shampoo causes excess shedding for some reason). I tried everything to reduce shedding and took much longer on wash days so I could be overly gentle to see if it would make a difference but I kept loosing so much hair in the shower it would get clogged every month (and I clean my hair out of the shower every wash so these were stands I wasn’t seeing fall off)! In total I used it for about 7 months and my hair got so much thinner it was visible! It was initially okay because I had a lot of hair although it was fine so a little more shedding wasn’t alarming until I realised just how thin it had gotten.
I wasn’t getting the same great effects after a while with dyed hair either, it started feeling stripped, flat and light and wasn’t giving my curls as much definition as it did a few months ago. My hair is still shiny but it wasn’t worth it having shiny looking limp thin hair.
I stopped using it and have about half the bottle left. It would have been amazing value for money if it worked for me (I used about a pea size for each wash and it lathered so well, I could definitely have used it for a year).
It’s been sitting on my shelf for a few months now and will be thrown our once it reaches the one year mark and my conscience is clean. Will not repurchase ☹️ Still desperately looking for a shampoo that feels exactly like it did for the first couple of months minus the shedding.
Also swapped to k18 for bond maintenance and wouldn’t go back!.
Absolutely love this shampoo. For context, I wash my hair once a week, twice sometimes if I have plans and I still have my bottle from 6 months ago. It genuinely lasts me such a long time, which is how I justify paying the price.
I am a few months into my hair journey and have noticed how much healthier my hair is from olaplex, my hair looks and feels so soft after I use olaplex. I highly recommend the shampoo, but also the conditioner that goes with it.
My hair care routine is no3 leave in for hours, shampoo, conditioner or no8 (only on mid to bottom to hair) and I find that routine has been amazing for my hair – I also wash my hair with cold water and this routine has left my hair feeling amazing.
I also have quite an oily scalp which has annoyed me for years as I often notice my hair is greasy again literally the next day, however with olaplex my scalp is not as oily and takes longer to get greasier.
Will not lie and say it’s not expensive, however these bottles last me months and months and would rather pay more on good qualify products than spend less on store products. If you are looking to buy this product I would say that only invest if you are able to ideally get the conditioner or no8 to go with it as I feel they work best together.
The no3 is my favourite from the range without a doubt. Also, a “downside” to this, I would say that if you are wanting to purchase olaplex that you commit to it. Before I would use store products, just shampoo and conditioner, no other oils etc and would leave it on for a minute or two before washing out.
But with olaplex the products work better the longer you leave them on, particularly with no3, no8 and no5. So I would say using olaplex is a commitment, finding time to allow the products to sit in your hair.
I normally put mine on and carry on with what I need to do that day with a cap on my head. Using good hair products and improving your hair is a commitment and does take time. Also, a mistake I made for a while was not lathering the shampoo up enough.
I recommend getting hands wet, putting a small amount on and then lathering it up for a good 10 seconds to get maximum effect. I would really say it has a strong smell however, but leaves hair so soft and I always apply the oil after which leaves my hair smelling nice anyway.

IšverstiShow in original languageThis shampoo and the conditioner was recommended by my new hair stylist since my hair is highlighted and is rather dry. Every time I go to a stylist it’s always the same thing “which shampoo do you use?” “You should be using better shampoos, your hair is really dry” so when this was recommended to me again and after seeing how soft my hair looked and felt and not to mention how clean it felt at the time, I decided to finally give it a try.
When my stylist used this on me, it smelt great. Very light and beautiful , when I started it using it, it smelled overwhelming strong of mint. So much so that my eyes would start to water and I am not a sensitive person to smell whatsoever so saying the smell is overwhelming is 100% my truth.
I thought well it’s okay, it worked so well on my hair, I can get past it. Slowly, I started to notice that my hair kept getting a little thinner in the scalp area. I didn’t think too much of it until it started to get worse and worse.
Now I can feel it all around my head and especially forehead. So much so that I could cry! This past week and a half, I have noticed that my hair has been shedding a lot, I notice that my hair falls everywhere and so easily! Just today I washed my hair with cold water (not super cold, but not warm) because I thought that maybe all of this was due to me washing my hair with warm to hot water.
Guess what ? My scalp is burning, it’s itchy and is super dry! I have noticed the burning sensation before but again, I blamed it on the hot water. Today I can feel it even worse. That’s when I decided to check the reviews and so many other people have been going through the same thing! Please do not buy this product, this and the conditioner.
I never leave bad reviews unless the product is super bad!! Like many others, my hair is usually thick and hope once I stop using this product, my hair can start to heal. Please note that I have been using the shampoo and conditioner since the very being of November of this year 2021, using it only 2x a week!! Not even a month and so few washes and it has caused so much already!.

IšverstiShow in original languagei didn’t like this shampoo the first 2 times i tried it because of the top two complaints: greasy roots and hair feels tangled after shampooing in the shower grease: this is to be expected with an acidic shampoo.
chemically, it just cannot remove as much oil as a conventional alkaline or neutral pH shampoo. my shortish fringe bangs would be noticeably greasy by the second day, and i prefer to shampoo my hair every 3-4 days.
i just shampoo only my bangs a second time in the shower and bam, no more greasy bangs. over time, my scalp has adjusted and the only time my bangs are noticeably greasy by day 2 is after trimming them shorter.
tangled: in the shower, immediately post-shampoo, my hair feels a little tangled, but that’s what conditioner is for. once my hair is conditioned and dry, it’s soft, shiny, bouncy, and the natural wave is very defined.
i do not use any other products or heat style my hair. i dye the top, or outermost, layer of my hair with demi-permanent dark brown dye and the under layer is bleached and dyed teal/green with arctic fox dye.
this acidic shampoo does a great job keeping the cuticle closed and preventing color fading of both dyes. it makes the bleached and dyed hair soft, even the ends. if you want to preserve your hair color, lengthen the time between dye touch-ups, and also enhance your natural wave or curl, give this shampoo more than just 1-2 tries before you write it off.
Ongeveer 3 of 4 keer per week.
Features – Helps gently cleanse hair while preserving color – Developed with Interlock Protein Network (IPN) technology – Helps rebuild surface protection & provide progressive conditioning – Contains a high level of amino-ions to seal in color – Leaves hair soft, smooth & manageable with brilliant color.
so i never really write reviews, but i want to warn others about this product. in the beginning i loved this shampoo and it left my hair feeling very clean while also keeping it soft. i colored my hair in September 2021 and used this since.
while it kept the color great with touch ups in between it is now June 2022 and i have noticed major hair loss. i am now showering and having clumps of hair fall out of my head to then brushing my hair after the shower and the same thing happening.
this is unusual for me. the prior months i noticed some hair loss but it now has gotten even worse. i just switched to Pantene Sulfate Free and am hoping it fixes this problem and allows my hair to grow back.
don’t waste your time on Redken anymore because their products are expensive and cause more harm than good!!!.
I’ve been using this product thinking I have upgraded from Tresemme to a salon product that was safe for my color treated hair. However, even after changing to redkin, I would see my soap suds turn a deep purple blue color and it would wash out my toner and fade my color dramatically in just the one wash.
My hairdresser and I kept blaming my hair from being over treated but even after several deep conditioning treatments, it still would completely wash out again in the first wash and I only wash my hair once a week.
I was about to reorder when I decided to read other reviews and seeing other reviews mention the same colored suds and color fade, I am relieved that all I have to do is buy something different to Redkin.
I will never trust a redkin product again. I keep looking online for its ingredients because it HAS to have something that strips hair.
First off, I have very long and thick colored hair. I bought this thinking it would be a good new shampoo and not fade my color. I was completely wrong, as this shampoo didn’t seem to clean my hair at all and only made the build up on my hair worse.
I have never struggled with build up on my hair, until I bought this shampoo along with the Redkin All Mega Soft conditioner. It was absolutely terrible, I had so much waxy build up around my hairline that looked like grease, and it would NOT go away no matter how much shampoo I used.
Along with that, I felt like this made my color fade more than any hair product I’ve ever used before, which also had never been a major problem for me in the past. So in short, this shampoo brought about a lot of issues I never had to deal with before and made my hair look awful.
I will never buy Redkin hair products again, because both types of shampoo and conditioner I used were awful. I thankfully had a hair appointment soon after this problem started so that my hair was thoroughly cleaned, and after my stylist gave me new recommendations (Pureology and Matrix Total Results btw) I threw the Redkin in the trash.
I am also not one to leave reviews, but I would honestly feel bad if I didn’t warn someone about to buy this how bad it is. Seriously just don’t buy it (or any Redkin shampoo and conditioner for that matter).
I bought the color luster shampoo & conditioner that came in a travel size set along with the overnight serum. Used the shampoo & conditioner for 1st time today. Maybe TMI but I’ve been suffering with hypoactive thyroid which is undertreated even though I’ve been in treatment since January.
This has caused my full and thick hair which was one of my best features to turn into a dry, frizzy, brittle, fragile mess with hair loss so noticeable that my stylist commented on it. While this shampoo & conditioner isn’t a miracle worker, I want to share that I let my hair air dry as I’m trying to reduce amount of heat I use on it.
After my hair was dry I took out my hair clip. First thing I noticed is the crown of my hair looks healthy, normal and shiny. The section from chin to shoulder length still has a frizzy look to it. But it feels so much softer.
I’ll continue to use and will purchase the full size if it continues to work well.
I received this product as a sample for my honest opinion. The shampoo along with the conditioner are a wonderful combination. Before using these products, I was somewhat skeptical, wondering if these products deliver a greatness above other shampoos and conditioners to justify the price.
The first use of these AMAZING products, I seen the extraordinary results that showed me that shampoo isn’t just shampoo and that they should not be mistaken as equally created. The smell of these products are divine… a light rose scent that is luxurious but not overwhelming.
The shampoo along with the color Lustre glaze conditioner are a great combination that leaves your hair feeling incredibly soft and shiny and incredibly silky smooth. After the first use, my color treated hair looked and felt hydrated and healthy.
My hair color appeared more vibrant, not dull. I look forward to trying the other products in this incredible line. It is definitely worth the splurge for the great results.
All shampoos, in giving hair a thorough cleanse, tend to open the cuticles and release a lot of the colour instilled within through treatments. Color Wow Color Security Shampoo marks a massive change in approach, giving a fittingly strong wash while actually improving the appearance of colour treated hair.
In fact the shampoo’s luxuriously thick lather actually extends the life of colour in hair, combatting fading and keeping it looking its most radiant and vivid. Color Wow Color Security Shampoo works so well in retaining colour by combatting the root causes of loss of vibrancy.
This is thanks to LCD (Low Charge Density) technology, which keeps cuticles sealed, healthy and unable to leak out the precious colour contained within. An innovative and advanced Japanese amino-fortified complex forms the basis of the rich yet lightweight lather, focusing on improving hair health in every respect.
Whether its preventing dryness, lack of shine or even hair breakage, the sulfate-free formula manages it, all while giving hair the texture and nourishment it needs to accompany such renewed shine. Apply a coin sized amount of Color Wow Color Security Shampoo to wet hair and massage into lather.
Rinse thoroughly with warm water; repeat if necessary. Follow with Color Security Conditioner. Style as usual.
I have received Color Security Shampoo For All Hair Types as a gift from Color Wow. Personally test use by myself. Would like to give my zeal and honest opinions of this product, leave my authentic thoughts and feelings about the product we have tried and this is an exchange the product.
I received it as a gift, complimentary from Color Wow. I’ve been using Color WOW for a couple of years now. I was looking for a shampoo that would allow me to keep my color vibrant and would allow me to go a couple of days without shampooing.
This product did that! I wash my hair twice a week and I probably could go longer. Looks great at the end of three days without washing. When I first starting using WOW the first week, I had to do a rinse and repeat, due to low lather.
Once I got the amount down & all the other products that I had been using were out my hair its been one wash & go. I just do my scalp with WOW & I do a good conditioner & Argan oil on ends of hair & blow dry.
I haven’t tried their other products so cannot comment. But you won’t regret trying Color WOW Shampoo!.
I bought this shampoo and matching conditioner after reading all the good reviews on their website. I also own some of their other products, which are ok, but nothing special, especially, not for the price.
This shampoo is possibly the worst shampoo I have ever used in my entire life! Absolutely stripped my thick, natural hair and made it look and feel like straw. No amount of conditioner and leave in conditioner was able to fix it.
It was an expensive mistake, put me off the brand completely. Much prefer the Moroccanoil brand or ColorProof, which unfortunately is no longer available in the UK.
Cleans well, only lathers a tiny bit, and smells like melon. Doesn’t leave a residue. Not overly hydrating for bleached and/or colour treated hair. I can go 2-4 days without washing my hair. It does take some of the colour out of my red hair, more than other colour safe shampoos I’ve used while having bright red hair.
If you need a lot of moisture from your hair products, this ain’t the shampoo for you. If you have fine hair you’ll likely like this. Maybe it’s just not for my hair type (medium 2b/2c hair). Probably won’t repurchase it, at least not while I’m sporting a vibrant hair colour.
I will say that I like the conditioner of this line more than the shampoo.
Gently cleanses and moisturizes medium to thick, color treated hair. This moisturizing, sulfate free shampoo features a concentrated formula that nourishes, adds softness, and protects color vibrancy.
Hydrate Shampoo includes Jojoba, Green Tea, and Sage to strengthen, repair, and protect against hair breakage. This shampoo also includes Pureology’s Anti – Fade Complex with Fennel Seed extract and a natural blend of Camelina, Coconut, and Olive Oil to nourish, strengthen, and offer the ultimate color protection for color treated hair.
– How to Use – Apply a quarter-sized amount to wet hair and lather. Rinse. Repeat if necessary.
I purchased this shampoo and conditioner line and hopes that it would do well with my allergies. I have been suffering from any fragrance due to strong shampoo and conditioners. It has a very light natural oatmeal scent which I thought would not bother me.
While it definitely did not bother me as much as other scents, I do not believe it is worth what they are charging for it. The shampoo is extremely thin, you cannot pour it onto your fingertips because it will run right off.
You have to pour it straight into your palm and then almost smush it into your hair in order to make sure that it all goes in. Since it is so thin, you have to end up using more than you would like. Truthfully it did nothing special for my hair, it did not leave it any more moisturized than normal, if anything it made it feel more weighed down and greasy.
If you are looking for an unscented, hypoallergenic shampoo and you have normal hair, try the brand Attitude. It is just as natural if not more, and for half the price. They offer a great line of hypoallergenic, soft scented shampoo and conditioner.
Even the best hair color products can leave tresses looking and feeling processed. Kerastase Reflection Bain Chromatique No Sulfate gently cleanses and clarifies while infusing locks with healthy hydration to keep your hue looking radiant.
This sulfate-free formula works to neutralize water particles and prevent mineral buildup that can make hair dull and lifeless. Meanwhile, fortifying botanicals like yuzu and lychee extract, linseed oil and vitamin E restore resiliency, strength and shine.
I recently received the Kerastase Fondant Cica Chroma Conditioner for free in exchange for my honest review of the product and what I thought of the brand. One of the very first 1st things That impressed me when I saw this conditioner was the packaging, which is very well made I am in love with the color of the bottle the rest of the package as it’s all very well done.
After the 1st use of the conditioner I was immediately impressed by the fragrance which wasn’t overpowering at all. I am a big fan of conditioners that work on split ends, So when I saw this one, I was really hoping it wouldn’t let me down.
the conditioner worked really well. Anyone who knows me knows I like changing my hair color so this helped really lock it in place for it to shine even longer then anything else I have ever tried. This is definitely one I will be purchasing in the future.
I can say that with all authority since my mom still has one of my white blonde curls she clipped off when I was a little thing. I can’t stop touching my hair, I know I need to stop because of the oil in your fingertips, but I can’t help myself.
As to the fragrance of the products there are two camps. Camp Black Pepper and Camp Love It. I love it. As one YouTuber said she believed it smelled like a high end perfume or a botanical garden and I would agree with her.
But we all smell things differently. I got this trio of products as an offer on Sephora when I spent either $25 or $35 in general products. And I can’t tell you how happy I am that “general†products didn’t autocorrect into something that would have been a little more embarrassing.
The white flecks in the photo is stuff on the mirror. In love with these products, I had never used Kerastase before now. But I’m a lifelong user now. Holiest Grail of Holy Grails.
Used this the first time the other day. On putting it into my hand I noticed how watery the consistency was, I didn’t even need to squeeze the tube, on opening it drips out owing to the watery consistency.
I put it on my hair after shampooing with the Kératese shampoo, and instantly it made my hair all tacky and tangled. I actually thought I had made a booboo and purchased a styling product, one intended for use on dry hair, in error thinking it was conditioner.
My hair was in knots when I came out the shower, I couldn’t get a de-tangler brush through it. I had to put a leave in conditioner in and leave overnight. I checked online to make sure it was a conditioner intended for wet/damp hair after shampooing and confirmed same.
Thought to myself I will try again and maybe use a wee bit more. Did that tonight and same results i. e. matted, tangled, coarse hair like how it feels when you come out a swimming pool. I have used cheaper off the shelf/suoermarket conditioners at a fraction of the price which are better!!!.

If you fry your hair like I foolishly did by bleaching it at home this conditioner will come to your rescue! Don’t panic just buy this product it leaves my damaged hair so silky and soft. I tried so many other high end costly conditioners and mask and nothing compares to this.
I don’t understand why people are complaining about the price. A little goes a long way and as far as high end goes this is cheap. Trust me it’s worth every penny and I finally found the holy grail of conditioners! I tried at least 8 to 10 different high end conditioners before this one! Buy it your hair will thank you for it!.
I have been loyal to Kenra Platinum and Redken products the last several years. Wanting to find a cheaper option but I was timid to take the plunge. I bought this set on a whim. Let me tell you, this product is as good as the top price items, for half the cost.
I have fine hair and it left it super soft but still manageable. It has a nice delicant scent. Don’t second guess this product. Buy it and you will be surprisingly satisfied as I was, at half the cost of other brands!.
I’ve read many bad reviews on this product and was honestly scared to even try it. but I did and I’m glad I did I’m not sure if some people aren’t sure how to use sulfate free and silicone free shampoo buts it better for colored hair and I just recently got my hair colored so I thought I would give it a try !! A lot of people said this didn’t leave their hair feeling clean.
but for me it worked. When I use these types of shampoos and conditioners I wash my hair twice with the shampoo the first shampoo I think of as a pre wash getting most of the oils out and it doesn’t lather very well the first time the second time you will get a great lather and it will clean out the remaining oils and dirts from your hair!! I let the conditioner sit for about 3-5 mins that way it can soak in I also want to say I use cold water on my hair !! If you wash with shampoo twice and let the conditioner sit for a couple minutes you will achieve clean soft hair I am not a professional this is just what I do when I use sulfate free products and I honestly just like buying shampoo if you haven’t gave this a chance or have and It didn’t work I recommend try using this in these ways to achieve a good outcome!! I love this product and would repurchase it!!.

Retains the color in your hair
A true success story, even by Redken’s own high standards, the Redken Color Extend Magnetics Shampoo is the best way for anyone with colour-treated hair to ensure long-term protection and achieve the most out of their chosen shade.
Still providing a cleanse of real quality, the Shampoo simply doesn’t contribute to loss of colour in the process. In fact colour-treated hair will become 3x more fortified with regular use, proving even a lightweight cleanser can produce a luxuriously lather-filled means of preserving your colour.
Redken Color Extend Magnetics Shampoo doesn’t just rely on its Sulfate-free composition to put a halt to loss of colour radiance. Instead the cleanser enhances the depth of tone thanks to its Amino-ion enriched Charge Attract Complex, a proven means of binding colour to hair for longer.
Ensuring the colour-protecting formula reaches all areas is easy with the shampoo’s Interlock Protein Network, the means in which the entire Color Extend Magnetics range targets and conditions the surface of all strands.
Apply Redken Color Extend Magnetics Shampoo to wet hair, massage into a lather and rinse.

Pictured- Before – unwashed and a hot mess lol First Wash- followed directions on bottles and saw some brightening. Has a nice perfume scent to it. Second “wash” – I will sometimes do this test with purple shampoos/conditioners to see how strong they are.
I applied the shampoo to my DRY hair and left it on for 5-10 mins. I rinsed it out and then applied the conditioner and left on for 5-10mins. Usually with a strong purple shampoo I will see a drastic lightening with some purple tones in it.
It lightened my hair however wasn’t the drastic change that I would expect from applying to dry hair. Overall: Pros – Nice scent Will help remove unwanted brass tones and lighten Cons- Not on the safer side for ingredients so I would not recommend for constant use While Redken / L’Oréal try to be free of animal testing for the most part, they do still “have” to animal test where required by law.
Meaning, they sell their products on mainland China where it is the law for cosmetics to be tested on animals prior to use. For me personally, the price point is too high for the result. I have received better results from more affordable purple shampoos that have safer ingredients and no animal testing I will be using these products occasionally when I need to brighten a little but won’t be purchasing in the future.
I read so many reviews that it’s messy etc and it’s a waste. Um, I purchased the travel sizes just incase it was a fail. I read the instructions and took advice from my hair stylist which was similar to the instructions and tbh it works for my hair.
I only use it once a week and I purchased the conditioner as well and use only a nickel size and it is enough for my entire hair. Yes your hands go blue but it goes away in the shower and no it did not stain my tub, my water was blue but it went clear so I figured okay it’s good.
I have blue free hands/skin and no stains in my tub. I use the cranberry color extend shampoo and conditioner during the week as well when I used my blue toning products during the week. Seriously am in love with my hair.
It isn’t frizzy and my waves are so nice I have gotten compliments lately and I’ve been doing this routine for over three weeks now. It’s soft and my hair really is long and thick. I hope this review helps someone and I use a small amount of almond oil in my scalp to moisture because it can dry your scalp a bit if your scalp is sensitive like mine because I love me some Selsun blue in my hair!!!! i haven’t used any though because it really has not given me any big issues due to applying some almond oil on my scalp (massage a little bit.
Read the instructions and respect the power! Redken did not scrimp on pigment. There’s a reason they say you should wear gloves to use it, which is ridiculous but whatever. Their purple conditioner is a pale color but the blue is just as dark as the shampoo.
It’s so dark! Take a washcloth or rag into the shower to wipe down the walls or it could end up looking like the scene of a smurf murder. Watch your cuticles, too! Rinse extremely well. It works! But if you have any highlighted areas you may need to mix it with a white conditioner to dilute all that BLUE.
Otherwise, it could stain your hair, which kind of defeats the purpose. I read reviews about it drying out people’s hair so mixing it with a deep conditioner might counteract that but I’m not a professional so conduct science experiments at your own risk.

First, as is everything AMIKA does, this conditioner smells so good. I use so many of their products that I sing their praises anytime I can. With that being said, I don’t love this conditioner. I used the Triple Rx formulas prior to it being discontinued/changed to The Kure.
I LOVED the Triple Rx formula but decided to switch up and try out Normcore as I have extremely healthy hair but tend to get oily in my crown area. I thought I was going to a “lighter” or more balancing shampoo and conditioner.
The name Normcore would lead you to believe it’s formulated for normal hair balance but this conditioner leaves a very heavy residue and makes the hair in the back crown area feel gross and greasy. It even looks oily.
I have tried repeatedly rinsing the area where it tends to deposit the most but without fail, the greasy look and feel is there once my hair dries. I find it very odd that Triple Rx NEVER left my hair feeling or looking greasy and its was a heavier formula for dry hair.
I am truly bummed as I bought liters of the products. I may try The Kure when I need to reorder but I will definitely not be repurchasing this formula.
I love this shampoo! I have fine, very long hair that tangles easily and dries out from the sun (and the Florida weather) This shampoo is one of my favorites. First, the smell is amazing! By far the best smelling shampoo, it does last a day or two, in case you’re sensitive to smells but it is not overpowering! It smells like a beach, florals scent I can’t describe but I would wear it as a perfume! The shampoo is great for cleansing hair as well.
Usually I have to double cleanse with shampoo but this one is a one and done product! Add the normcore conditioner and my hair has never looked better. This line has helped me tremendously to soften my hair(not too much to where you can’t style it), it has helped with frizzy hair and humidity protection and it also helps keep my hair styled straight just the way I like it without adding a straightener into the mix.
The whole normcore line is amazing and I love the refills! When I travel I refill the small bottles and I’m never out of the best shampoo (and conditioner) ever! Love this so much!.
I was so disappointed with this product. I have loved every amika product I’ve ever tried but I hated the normcore shampoo and conditioner. First of all… this shampoo has almost no lather. And if your hair is greasy (and mine almost always is when I wash it… since that’s the point of washing it for most people) then it does not lather at ALL.
It’s also very thin, so it’s extremely hard to spread around and work into your hair, so you have to use way more product than you would want to (especially for the price). It also made my hair feel so dried out and left my scalp greasy and super flaky even immediately after showering.
I’ve never had that problem before. I use the Bust your Brass shampoo once a week and I have never had ANY of the above problems with that product. Why is the formula so different? The one pro is that this smells fantastic, but otherwise I was entirely disappointed.
I switched to Pureology a week ago and my hair and scalp are cleaner and healthier than ever.

I have been using Kerastase for a few years, honestly I do like the products but I lost the “oomph” I used to get from their products. They smell amazing and make my hair soft. But besides that, it was still frizzy, splitting and dry.
I recently switched and have had better results with new shampoo. Someone once told me it’s good to alternate shampoos, not sure how much truth there is to that but maybe that’s what happened.
[brand:kerastase] My hair type: Colored, oily scalp, dry hair in length (exposed to daily dry and ironing) Expectations from this shampoo: -Good cleaning, Brightening dyed hair. For a very long time I was looking for to find a shampoo with which I can wash my hair less often.
This one well washes hair. Unfortunately, I didn’t wash my head every day, sometimes every other day, unfortunately I couldn’t wash less often, although I hoped until the last. After using hair really looked longer bright and shiny.
The manufacturer promised shine of dyed hair up to 40 days. Unfortunately, the color on my hair does not even last so much, but the fact that the hair retains depth and brightness of color longer is a fact.
For this is a plus. The quality of my hair has not changed, it remains in the form in which it was. Skin reaction – No discomfort was noticed. The only disadvantage is price – quite expensive 😌😌.
Let me start by saying I have finicky hair. I can’t use just any hair products because my hair is fine and oily, so lots of products tend to weigh my hair down. That was my experience with this shampoo.
It left my hair limp, and I was expecting way better because of the price. It does smell really good, but I can’t really recommend for those with fine and oily hair.
Sulfate-free shampoo and conditioner are safe for colored hair. Sulfates are harsh chemicals that can strip color from hair, so using a sulfate-free product will help to keep hair color looking fresh and vibrant.
