#ROLDA I use it daily both in my profession as a barber and in my day to day and there is more to say that it is a sample of quality price and style that no other can provide, provides hair style, comfort and elegance.

Simply perfection in a barbershop product!.

It is black but does not hide out grays on 4c hair. May work better for Caucasian hair.

I used it once trying to maintain my shape of hair I mean curly but it just parched my hair but yes it is long lasting and I would improve adding more hydrating properties to the product please because thin hair looks parched after washing it.

I am pretty brand loyal when it comes to my haircare, but every now and again if a product is amazing enough from another line , I will cheat on my usual and dip into the other line for that product.

This is one of them The Moroccan Oil Treatment oil, which I feel is their most popular product that lead the way for this brand I think lol yes it is expensive, yes I get it cheaper because I am a liscenced professional lol but, when it comes to these higher end hair products , usually,you get what you pay for.

It is worth the expensive price tag. There are some expensive hair products that I feel are not worth it and are way too overpriced for what they actually do and I am always very honest in my reviews on hair care because I live and breathe hair , its my profession, its what I love and I love to help people achieve hair they love, so if that means being honest and saying hey this product isnt worth it or its crap OR hey , this is not a brand I retail at work BUT Ive used it and I love it and recommend it even if u need to buy it elsewhere and I dont really achieve much for myself, what I want to achieve is to educate people on hair hair products and what works for them.

So I am always honest when clients ask me about Moroccan oil. that no we dont carry it but it is something I love and use everyday. it gives my hair amazing shine, it makes it feel soft and silky and just glides on over those little split ends like they are there, it helps tame frizz and flyaways and its a treatment that actually is beneficial to your hair.

The bottle is on the small side but a little goes a LONG way unless you want to look like you stuck your hair in some grease than by all means lol but seriously a tiny bit, rub in your palms and rub jtno your hair , focusing on the ends and midshaft scalp will just make u oily I have naturally curly hair that is prone to dryness, it gets frizzy , its thick.

I use the regular Moroccan oil treatment but there is also a light for those with finer hair , more oily , sleek type ,thinner hair that this regular one might be a little heavy for. I also apply this to dry hairz over my midshaft and ends when I feel they could use a little TLC.

If theyre looking a little dry maybe just a little bit of this run through it and it will make your hair feel all soft and loveable again. I like the smell, it isnt anything strong or overpowering. This is the only hair product I do use from Moroccan oil, I am sure they do have other good products but at that price point and already being happy with my current hair care routine, Ive never felt the need to try them and I feel that this product here is their Holy Grail so to speak, like the 1 amazing stand out product where they are at the top of their game.

If I could give this product 100 stars I would. I have curly/wavy hair that almost reaches my waist and I was originally using the Devacurl stylers. However, those were really expensive and I had to use so much! I needed a cheaper alternative and bought this on the recommendation of some YouTubers.

I was not disappointed! This stuff is amazing!It has a very odd texture for a gel, it almost feels like a really thick glue, because it is pretty sticky. I use almost a handful of this on soaking wet hair and it never weighs down my curls or dries them out as long as I have a good leave-in conditioner.

It never leaves my hair crunchy or flakey and also works as a refresher when watered down a bit. You HAVE to try this if you are looking for a cheap curly styler!.

This is a decent gel! This what I used all throughout basic training and still use it when I have to style my hair in a slick bun. It is in scented which is nice. I do find that too much can flake. It comes out easily.

I would say it is a medium hold.

This product works really well if you want a gel with a strong hold! Its affordable and best if you want to get rid of fly aways for a nice sleek look. All you have to do is apply the gel to damp hair, brush the fly aways (go over it a couple times if you have thick hair), and then wrap a satin scarf around your hair for a bit.

After this is done your hair will be nicely laid. It also works well for a range of curly/kinky hair types from 3a-4c and more. The only critique that I have is that it doesn’t shine as much and for certain hairstyles, I want a nice shiny sleek look.

What I usually do to compromise this is I’d use this gel for my edges and then the eco styler gel in the black container for my whole head to get the shine, sometimes I combine the two.

They advertise a product and then they send you another similar one, which is not the same as they have in the photos, I never buy from them again because they didn’t owe me money

This gel smells amazing and it holds all day long. My mom and I use it on my little brothers hair and it just is so great!

This is my go to edge control. It lasts all day and some. This edge control withstands anything really. I like edge controls that don’t require me to wrap them down to work and this one is it, but when you do wrap it Down just know it’s staying laid.

The only downside is some people might experience white residue but in my experience the only time that happens is i keep reapplying everyday without wiping them down. I personally just wet my edge brush the next day, re-swoop them without applying anymore gel and wrap them up and boom they’re back to new.

You may not have the same hood as when it was first applied but it lasts me as long a si need it too. I’ve literally worked out 40 minutes of cardio straight and it still was laid.

Unfortunately I have been home sick and bored out of my mind. So as any good cosmetic and hair obsessed patron, I started researching hair gels and pomades for my color treated frizzy hair. Not too many products have worked for me and I am embarrassed to say over the years how much money I spent in search of the perfect hold gel.

Yes, I have 3A hair and struggle with the frizz as well. I keratin my hair but it doesn’t stay very long for me. Well look no further, Style Factor Mini Edge Booster Strong Hold Pomade is it. It leaves a nice shine and thick pomade but not like glue.

Smells fantastic and it laid down my hair like I just straightened it. I will buy this product again in the larger size for sure. They also make a hair gel that I heard was good too so I will try that next.

Eco booster is my favorite gel. It holds my edges all day without having to reapply later. It gives my edges a sleek look with added shine and it helps that it also has a great smell. I’m a natural girl and it was so hard to find a gel that could lay down my hair and thus gel did it! Only downside is that it does create a white residue if you use too much product so you have to be careful with how much you use.

I found that wetting a towel and wiping down my edges before I apply works.

The texture of this product was quite thick which was fine because my hair is thick and porous. This product felt pretty moisturizing especially for a gel. It has just a tad bit of a stronger hold than the coconut and hibiscus definition gel but it also did not create a cast on my hair.

It was easy to work with and not very sticky or slimy. The smell is pleasant even with the castor oil smell. My hair in the picture is less than 24 hours after styling and honestly don’t foresee it lasting beyond the next morning, but primarily because I live in south FL where the humidity is at 15427% so the humectants in this product don’t help.

I would recommend this product to someone with normal to a bit thicker texture but not in a very high humid climate for it to last.

I wasn’t too sure at first but I LOVE this gel. The texture reminds of a really thick jam. I use it on wet hair after I applied curlsmith leavin conditioner and it is amazing. My hair had no crunch. Felt so soft.

Left no residue or flakes. And kept my curls defined. It is THICK I will say a little goes a long way. But it didn’t feel like I was stripping my hair of moisture like some gels do that have alcohol in it.

This one is alcohol free I believe and it felt like I added a thick protective hydration layer versus a hair gel. Hopefully I’ve described it well enough. I was not expecting it to be this great but I love it.

My natural hair specialist recommended your product “Lock It Up” for my hair. She shared on how it would aid in my natural locs ability to stay locked. And she was so right!! Your product greatly assists my hair with being and staying locked.

My hair type is coily and wavy at the same time! 🙂 which makes for a real challenge but Lock It Up has the ability to truly keep my locs locked! and without any negative aftereffects with my hair or scalp!.

This product works great on my daughter hair. She loves 2 strand twist in her hair. But she has a lot of shrinkage but when this product says it stretches it definitely does. She still has shrinkage but not like it was.

With this product being thick I thought it would weigh her hair down but a little goes a long way and it doesn’t make your hair heavy. It doesn’t absorb very well in the hair and leaves some type of product on the hair.

It just leaves your hair with a weird feeling. It smells amazing though and I will continue to use it.

This is my first time trying the Cantu Taming Gel. It has a thicker consistency to it. The container states this is good for Type 4 Curls but is effective on all hair curl types. My hair texture is not the same all over.

It is wavy in some sections and course in others. When I apply this gel it works well on my hair to keep the curls in place. My child has a different hair texture than mine. It works really well for both of us.

The scent is really delightful. I like the way the Cantu Taming Gel works for my type 2C, 3C hair as well as my child’s 4A, 3C Hair Type.

I have 4c hair, very tight curls. More like 4z. Anywho, I was able to slick my hair into a bun using minimal gel and my hair holds with very little flyways. I did stretch my hair with a quick blow dry, which helped with getting it to lay.

I also recommend the OGX Protecting and Silk Blowout Quick Drying Thermal Spray. No heat other than the blow dryer and my bun has been two days strong. Minimal waving up. The gel is so pretty and glittery and it smells lovely.

I recommend to anyone. It doesn’t flake!.

eco gel may be good if you have 2c- 3b hair and you want to add some hold to your curls , but if you want something to keep your styles in tact, for instance if you’re aiming to do a slick back pony or bun , eco gel is a terrible option.

it literally absorbs into my hair when i try to do a slick back and my hair goes soft. terrible hold especially if you want your style to look good throughout the day. Also, the container is very misleading.

On the bottom it states “ Max hold 10. ” In reality the hold is roughly 2 out of 10.

My brother lives in MD and really wanted this hair gel. He picked up a bottle when he was in Callie and couldn’t find it anywhere. I found it online, with shipping, cheaper than it was in a store so I shipped him 10 bottles.

I purchased this on a whim after watching a Kenra youtube video about air-drying techniques. They used some sort of Hydro styling gel which they don’t seem to make anymore. I bought this instead but was skeptical of the “firm hold” advertisement.

I wanted something light. Well, this is! It’s not sticky. It feels like a light gel and provides enough hold to wave/scrunch my hair at night and have awesome curls in the morning. I added a bit of hairspray to provide a bit more hold and my hair looks awesome.

No crunch, no sticky! They really need to rebrand this because I think this is the hydro gel just reformulated.

I have used Kenra products for a while now and I have loved every one I’ve tried; this is no exception! A little goes a long way for my fine hair and doesn’t weigh it down. It is a firm hold without making my hair stiff.

Would definitely recommend this product!.

It’s a nice gel but I was hoping it would give me a better lift and volume to my hair. I have several other Kenra products that I love but this isn’t one of my favorites. I am going to continue to use this and hope when I get my next hair cut (a little shorter) that this will give me the volume I am looking for.

It nice have a light fragrance that is very nice.

I have really frizzy medium curly hair. I like that this doesn’t leave it greasy and too crunchy. Wouldn’t say it has all day hold for me personally but I’m pretty happy with it.

My stylist recommended this product for my curly hair and I love it! I know that my hair will look great every time I use it. Smells nice too. Keeps my hair soft, controlled and just right!

This is a great product. A friend of mine turned me on to this and I’ve been using it ever since. It holds well, is totally water soluable – not sticky, comes off your hands and your hair easily with water.

The smell is good, and not strong at all. I’m middle age male with medium length straignt, but thick, hair. I can use alot of this for closer to a wet look, or just a little to hold style, works good either way.

I initially didn’t care for this hair product, because I stupidly didn’t read the directions. This has a soft hold on the hair keeps curls in place. It’s lightweight doesn’t flake up on hair. I recommend it for anyone with natural hair, it works great.

This Styler is my go to product for styles that I want to hold without a crunch. It allows me to easy separate twisted or coiled hair. It’s also great for molding hairstyles too. You can use it to retwist locs or use to get curls popping for a Wash & Go.

I like that it’s a gentle styler for my edges. I have Dark brown and kinky hair. Add something to help the edges grown and get strong. Yes a nice gentle scent. Yes I would but not for someone with thick edges.

My children have biracial hair and it’s hard to find the right product for styling their hair. ECO professional styling Gel with coconut oil is the right product. It is actually for all hair types. It not only repairs and conditions the hair but it also moisturizes defines and leaves their hair smooth and shiny.

As a mother I won’t just put anything in their hair without researching it. It is not expensive at all and it’s easy to apply. My teenage daughter uses it to do her edges and it makes her hair look amazing.

This is my first time ever buying this brand and I purchased this for a couple of reasons. One: to tame my sons kinky curls, and then also to lay down my hair for slicked back ponytail looks. I was expecting this to be like the kind of hair gel that hardens when it dries but it’s nothing like that and I’m not actually complaining because who wants hard hair anyway?? When using this on my sons hair, I was able to keep his curls in their form, tame the frizz and keep it from looking dry and his hair didn’t get crunchy at all!! The same for my hair.

I was able to slick back my hair and get it where I wanted it and it stayed in place with no flyaways. I wish I had bought this years ago lol.

For awhile I have been avoiding eco style gel because I have alway heard that it’s bad for your hair but the gels that I have used in the past would always leave flakes in my hair and sometimes leave my scalp itchy.

So, I decided to give eco style gel a try to see if it works for my hair and to see if it’s bad as people have claim it to be and I am so glad I gave it a try. It’s the only gel I have used so far that has not irritated my scalp or leave white flakes.

One downside I would like to mention is that it doesn’t hold my hair as much as I would like it to but it’s not too much of a problem. Overall, love the product.

This is the best was n go gel I’ve tried from cheap to expensive. It gave me the best curl pattern without the frizz so the curl look much better. I just wish it came in a jumbo size. I highly recommend this it and the hair vitamins.

Excellent hair gel! I needed something to keep the hair out on my 2 children’s eyes. They’re 3 and 5 and very active. This stuff works and generally lasts most of the day, as long as they don’t fuss with it or sweat excessively.

Don’t get it too wet or it will completely lose hold. My older son sweats more than my younger one so I can see the difference. It doesn’t dry to a helmet-head look. You can tell there’s gel in your hair, but it’s more natural looking.

I also love the smell. It’s not particularly masculine which I like. It’s a fresh, clean smell. Which I would much rather have on my boys. It’s a great product and fantastic value including over a pound of gel.

This would pobably last at least a good 6 months with daily use. As long as I need hair gel, this will be my go-to.

I love this product. Fell in love with it a couple of years ago while at a barber shop in the bay area. recently moved back to SoCal and couldn’t really find it anywhere so I resulted in buying online which isn’t an issue.

I would recommend getting the 17oz jar because it’s more for your buck. But this product doesn’t leave flakes. Doesn’t get all super hard or crunchy and holds very well. plus you can easily wash it out and reapply or even dampen your hair and restyle.
