20 Best Strapless Bra That Stays Up For Big Bust (2023 Updated)

Found the beauty back bra and have never had to look further! I’m not a small gal and I wear a size D cup. No pulling or tugging and I can wear this bra for up to 18 hours. When I needed a reliable strapless, I immediately looked for one in a beauty back.

I’m so impressed with this bra I stared buying them for my sister who wears a larger size than I do. She’s so happy! I buy at least 3 at a time and cycle through on a daily basis. Best bra ever. Every time I see those silly ads about the perfect bra, I think yeah, too bad you don’t know about this one.

I am 64 getting married and have ordered 9 strapless bras that stated they were good for support. I am a 38 DD or 40 D in a variety of other bras. I ordered a 38 D and it works perfectly!!! THIS ONE! The real deal! I wore this for hours to run errands before an appointment to try on my dress – no slipping AT ALL! AND EXTREMELY comfortable.

I like this bra. It is comfortable to wear but I had a heck of a time getting the bra hooked up. Normally I would hook up in front and then slide the bra around and settle into the bra. The bra has non slip strips on it which made that almost impossible to do.

I will need to figure out how I can hook up with the hooks in the back but so far I can’t get the hooks to go into their spot. I think this will take a lot of practice and soon enough I will get it right.

Other than that, I like the bra. The sizing was correct for me and it looked fine under my clothing. I am glad to be able to wear my clothing without bra straps showing.

This is exactly what I needed! This is high quality and comes with two sets of replacement straps, one clear and one bra color. It fits me perfectly, but only because I knew to adjust the sizing because it is strapless.

Please remember that strapless bras rely on the band to support your chest and not the straps like a traditional bra. This means the band is significantly tighter than a traditional bra. Size up by one or two band sizes to ensure a proper fit.

Also make sure you adjust your cup size based on the band adjustment, and remember this is a push up bra, so you may need additional room in the cup. I would recommend getting professionally measured by a lingerie expert for a strapless bra before ordering or it will not fit.

Well, I just received my order I felt it was delivered fast packed well and looked just like the pictures. I received three sets of straps I believe 2 black and one clear which was cool. I wear a 44 DDD.

Although the bra is made well I think my boobs are just to big for strapless bras. I ran into the same problem I’ve had in the past with other bras. I don’t feel secure without the straps. The bra fits loosely enough at the top where I feel I will spill out.

I haven’t tried to actually wear it with a outfit yet but I think I will take advantage of the clear straps. I would buy other products again.

I am 5’3, 260. I bought the 44DD as the triple D cup was too big/roomy. The brown is so pretty and the quality of the bra is better than anything. Its true to size if you buy from Lane Bryant, this quality on this is better and softer! The exchange was easy! Went online to my original order, clicked exchange and I printed a label.

Keep EVERYTHING on the bra when you try it on because you can not return it otherwise. The exchange was processed before I took my box back to the post office. Received both items in record time 3-4 days.

I purchased this bra in black in size 34DD. Loved the bra but it was snug on the last notch. I ordered the same bra in 36DD. It is TOTALLY sized differently. The cups are enormous and the band is even a bit smaller than the black one I ordered.

I tried to explain to Zulily customer service. I took a long time to explain and attach pictures, etc. and they just cancelled my complaint. I am extremely upset with both Wacoal and Zulily. I do order quite a bit from Zulily but I am very careful what I buy because I am aware most things cannot be returned and the shipping costs are high.

But I was willing to pay shipping because I loved the black bra and expected to have the perfect bra in the right size. I expect to hear something back from Zulily or Wacoal. This just isn’t right.

I’ve always had a hard time with strapless bras. This Wacoal bra has removable straps, and is extremely supportive. Sides have boning and strong, yet breathable fabric. The cups are lightly lines for additional support and smoothness.

There is a rubber strip along each edge of the bra, to help keep it in place. I wore it on a hot July day for an event and it stayed in place, comfortably, the entire day and evening!.

I purchased the Full Coverage Strapless Underwire Bra in the hopes it was the same style as mine. I received them promptly, yet I realized they were slightly different and were not a match for the one I own.

The online price was great, too! A local retail store carries many of the Maidenform items, and I’m hoping to find if there. As an aside, your website was user friendly and made it very easy to place an order.

I don’t wear strapless bras; I’ve never found one that worked for me (still haven’t). If I had tried this bra on in a store, I never would have bought it. Some of my issues with this bra may be necessary for a strapless bra to actually stay up without straps.

First problem, it is very difficult to put on. I fasten the hooks in front of my body then slide the bra 180 degrees around my body into place. This bra doesn’t slide very easily; in fact it slides with great difficulty.

Second, the sizing runs small. Both the band and the cups were smaller/tighter than normal for my size. The band is obviously what keeps a strapless bra in place, so it can’t be loose, but it was very uncomfortable and unwearable for me.

Third, this was not my definition of lightly lined. I don’t care for that much padding.

Nice smooth front. It’s a little less “shelf like” than other strapless bras. My cousin wears hers hiking without any issues. It is tight but I think it has to be just to keep everything up. It’s not one I want to wear all day, but it’s better than any other strapless bra I’ve ever had.

How’s that for review? It stays up. I have substantial equipment so the fact that this stays in place is a plus.

I didn’t realize that this bra has stays on the side of the cups. I thought it was “wireless” as it claimed. Unfortunately they refused to let me return it, as I’d had it over 3 days, and had bought it on sale.

Maybe it’s because I don’t have much on top, but this was the worse fitting bra I have ever tried on. Instead of enhancing my chest, it flattened it! I couldn’t take it off fast enough!

This No-slip full coverage strapless bra is really nice. I like the full coverage and the support I got while using this bra. I feel like the bra fit perfectly and is true to size. I’m not a fan of underwire bras but because of the support and how versatile using this bra is i’m ok with it.

This bra comes with a strap you can put on yourself, which I really like. You can use this bra as a strapless bra or attach the straps and use it different ways. This is useful when you are wearing a strapless dress or a dress/shirt that covers only one shoulder.

I have this bra in the color black and it looks nice and goes well with pretty much everything. I like it a lot and would definitely recommend!.

I received this bra for free and I was happy with its fit. It stays in place and the versatility of the straps is great. The straps are adjustable, so you can make is as comfortable as you want. The one reason I did not give it 5 stars is that it has these 4 loops sewn in, which I am guessing are for hanging.

They are so short that they are hard to hide inside the bra. Usually, this will not be a problem, but depending on what you are wearing they are actually visible. I would make these loops larger so they can be tucked in, as the current length does not allow for that.

Other than that, the bra is great. The cups are padded and the padding is somewhat thick, this is great for those looking for more lift, but not so great for those who do not want more volume.

I am 76 yrs young and have NEVER had a strapless bra that was comfortable like this. I have bought a few over the years. Dont wait just try it. I am ordering a few more. Perfect fit and shipped fast.

I have been on the hunt for a strapless bra, bought 2 from well known retail stores, after a month or so the bra started to slip down, the wires started to stab my side boob and made it extremely uncomfortable! This bra however, is absolutely amazing and feels great.

I am a size 38c, and bought this bra size 36D. This is the way they recommend buying this bra. The straps that are clipped in back have a non slip feel, that prevents the bra from slipping down. Also, along the bottom where the underwater is, has a non slip silicon which also prevents the bra from slipping.

I wore this bra to a party, i danced all night and sweated so much, and the bra stayed in place. I would 100% buy again!! A little pricey, but you get what you pay for!!! Best strapless bra EVER!.

I probably have owned over the years(I am 60 something) 10-14 strapless and long line bras that I hated. I also have scoliosis so finding a strapless bra I can tolerate is a challenge! This one is appropriately named- I love it and wore it to a social event for hours and never tugged or remembered that it was on! I have worn daily Spanx bras for years and they are the only ones (including sports bras) I wear.

I plan to order a couple more in case they discontinue this style!!!.

I bought this bra in black and neutral. Whenever they are past their prime, I continue to replace it. The fit is true to size, and does not budge. It fits most necklines and have detachable straps so I can add additional support, when necessary.

I umm’d and arr’d about whether to keep this bra as it came up small on the back strap and didn’t sit flat between my boobs as it should. It also made my boobs point out and down which looked a bit weird.

I ordered a different strapless bra (same size 36FF) but that wasn’t a good fit either and because I was going away and needed a strapless bra I plumped for this as the better fit of the two. It’s not comfy to wear for long periods.

Think I might be better shopping in store next time as they all fit so differently.

I really struggle with finding bras that I like and find comfortable. I needed a strapless bra to wear for a wedding that I was maid of honor in. This was recommended. It is relatively comfortable and of good quality, however the cups are huge.

I was unable to wear it on the say because the cups came out from under the dress significantly. I thought it was unnecessary for them to be so big.

I tried this strapless bra, along with the Embraceable and Vanishing styles to compare, side by side. All 3 fit true to size. I tried them all under a silk blouse to see if they disappeared underneath.

For me, this bra created a “muffin top” line at the top of the bra on my chest. I sent this one back. The winner for me was the Embraceable style for comfort and for not looking like I’m wearing a strapless bra under the silk blouse.

The runner up was the Vanishing style which “vanished” more on my back, while leaving a slight line above the bust under my silk blouse. I ended up keeping this one because it does not show under any fabrics thicker than silk and I found it as comfortable as the Embraceable style.

For reference, I wear a 36B and have a tall, slim body type.

Wow wow this bra actually stays up and doesn’t squeeze or pinch. I wore it all day and didn’t need to adjust or pull it up even once, it felt like a regular bra. I am normally a 32D but that wasn’t available so I got a 34C.

Band is a little big on me as expected but I wear it on the tightest hook and didn’t have any problems, may get a little looser as it stretches out though so I wouldn’t side up unless you have no other choice.

The whole inside of the bra has a sticky coating (which you can’t feel when you’re wearing it) and the cups are very structured which helps it to stay up. It is SO hard to find a strapless bra that stays put and is actually as comfortable as a normal bra.

Was looking for my first strapless bra that wasn’t crazy expensive to wear with thin strapped and off the shoulder tops and dresses. My best fitting bra from another brand is a 32DD, but based on other reviews and reviews in general of other strapless bras I decided to go up a band size, and ordered a 34D.

Unfortunately the very tops of the d cup lightly pressed into the top of my breasts, so I returned and exchanged for a 34E. I thought this fit well at first, but after wearing it for a couple of times I’ve noticed the cups are just slightly too large, I wish I had noticed this before I took the tags off and wore it a couple of times, because I cannot return it anymore.

PLEASE get your normal size, don’t make my mistake!! Even despite being slightly too large it doesn’t need to be pulled up too much, just a little, and it isn’t uncomfortable so I can tolerate it until I get the right size.

I wear at 34F, and this strapless bra fit well, stayed put and was comfortable all day. This bra was also comfortable with the straps in the crisscross pattern. In using the bra sizing chart, I realized that I’m between sizes (E or F).

This is my second strapless wonderbra. I bought the first 9(!) years ago. Which is a bit shocking in writing but it lasted really well. Finally replaced due to snapping of inner ribs in the washing machine.

This bra holds you up perfectly. It feels a bit tight originally but really keeps everything in place which you need with strapless outfits. I found my last one moulded to me over time so hope this one does the same.

I am fairly satisfied with this push up bra. I will say that it is a tad tighter than my normal 34D bras, but I am ok with that since it has a strapless option. The padding isn’t insane, so I am able to wear this more often without having things look too revealing.

It offers a nice push up, but it’s still very comfortable. I really like the straps that come with it. I am definitely be more comfortable wearing it with the straps, but it is nice to have the option to go without.

Strapless bras are known to be uncomfortable, they have to be tight to stay up and that is obviously so uncomfortable or they’re too loose and you have to keep hiking it up. I remember one that literally migrated down to my waist, very embarrassing.

I have been looking for a strapless push up bra. I decided to give this one a try. It’s a good bra, good fabric and I love the color. The padding is good and not too much. If strapless isn’t for you, then you can put the straps on and still have a good push up action.

The only thing I didn’t like is it runs small and is very tight around my back. I’m a bigger girl and I believe I should have went up a couple sizes.

This bra looked like a great idea – convertible between conventional, cross-back, and strapless, and I like the idea of the system used to make it cross- back, which was a type of hook that didn’t require you to unfasten one end of the strap.

However, like every other strapless bra I’ve tried or owned, it just sat over my chest with no support or lift (and I felt like I’d be constantly pulling it up. ) As a cross-back it was okay, but I felt like it added more volume than I wanted.

I have a much better cross-back bra that costs significantly less. This one just doesn’t work for me. For reference I’m a 34D.

I’ve tried a few wireless bras and haven’t been able to find one I really liked. All of them would loose their shape whenever I would sit and lay back. This one definitely holds its shape. But there is boning on the sides.

I don’t feel it too much, but it doesn’t make it completely wireless either. It’s very well made, but perhaps there is better out there. I just haven’t found it.

I am on the hunt for the best wireless bra. Despite not having a wire, my boobs have a GREAT shape in this bra so I wanted to love it. Sadly it has two rigid pieces on the side under the arm pits that dig into my skin which means I’m constantly fidgeting to pull it down or away from my skin – not a good look to be messing with your bra in a business meeting.

I’m a 32DD in Simone P, Victoria’s Secret, etc and ordered a small. Spanx bra-lleulujah is the most comfortable wireless (passes the comfortable enough to watch TV in test) but heads up the sizing is v funky.

This strapless bra is uncomfortable and the four hook side hook is incredibly strange. Human arms do not bend that way. I regret my purchase.

the hooks on the strap aren’t centered like most bras are, these hooks are off to the side which makes it SO difficult to clasp the hooks. i literally have no idea why they made it like that. but this is the first bra that i’ve found in years than can support my 34e tiddies without being too bulky or too loose!.

Very good shape and snug band, sadly my band size was not available anymore. Sometimes band is not so snug, so I tried one size smaller, but this time band was really tight, so would be excellent for strapless wear.

It is definitely not a push-up bra as I expected. It creates a bulge on top of the breast. I can minimise it by wearing it lower than intended, and I was willing to be flexible about it. As soon as it arrived, I tried it on and then proceeded to hand-wash it.

Unfortunately, with a single hand-washing, it is already coming apart at the seams when I have not even worn it yet. Although I can be forgiving and flexible about the poor fit, the workmanship quality of the item is unacceptable.

This is my first experience with the brand and needless to say, I am disappointed. I am giving it 2 stars instead of 1 because the ordering process was easy and the item arrived timely and properly packed and shipped.

This set is beautiful. It’s sexier than I anticipated. Such a classy color. I wore the bra under a strapless, fitted top, and there wasn’t a visible line where bra-meets-flesh along the top like a lot of strapless numbers.

It stayed in place 90% of the night. 34D. Compared to other strapless bras, this is my favorite.

First time trying Cosabella’s 30B which was noticeably bigger in the band than other 30B’s in my collection (Natori; Little Bra Company). Cup size was good but I had to go to the second innermost clasp on the band for it to feel like it fit right.

For reference, there are four clasps total on the band. It’s comfortable and beautiful, but I likely will not purchase again.

Aber unter dem T-Shirt oder der Bluse sieht man das nicht! Und trotz allem ist der BH wirklich super bequem. Ob ich die mitgelieferten durchsichtigen Träger je verwende, weiß ich noch nicht — meist geben Kunststoffträger ja kein besonders angenehmes Tragegefühl ab — aber wem das Tragen ganz ohne Träger zu unsicher ist, der hat hier eine gute Alternative.

Ich verwende die normalen Träger, wobei es für mich ein Bonus ist, dass ich sie abnehmen und umdrehen kann (mit der Verstellmöglichkeit nach vorne statt hinten). Insgesamt kein ganz perfekter BH, aber doch nahe dran!.

I am hoping that Lane Bryant Corporate reads these reviews. Not only is this bra reviewed as always a 5 star but it is a HUGE need for women! As you know the bra space for our size & pair of “ladies” is very limited.

So when you finally fall in love with one that supports, fits & works it is such a huge confidence builder. A few years ago I badly fractured my ribs in a bad accident. As you know your ribs never go back to the way they were and your chest cavity unfortunately suffers also.

So finding a bra after that type of injury to where they keep the pair of “ladies” from compressing on your rib cage and the chest cavity is a priority for every day living! I was so happy to find a bra after years of painful searching that helped support me in being able to not only breath better but to support and making if bearable for me with something I know have to live with every day.

So with that said, unfortunately now someone made the decision to no longer allow me that capability but also as you can see in the reviews countless others and their capability of support, comfort, etc! Each story is unique and should be number one in Lane Bryant’s motto, and also when you see women take the time as have I to come on and write a review, that shows a HUGE NEED and should be a number one priority.

I just got this in the mail after ordering from their Mother’s Day sale. I ordered my normal size that I have many other lane Bryant bras in. When I tried it on I swear it was trying to suffocate me.

The band sizing is totally off. Trying to squeeze into it even on the loosest hooks created a very unattractive indent on the bottom of the band and the top of my boobs. It did have ribbing which seems like it would hold everything in but that’s if you can get it it on.

I wear a 38H so this may be less of a problem for smaller cup sizes. If you are similar to me I would recommend going up possibly 2 band sizes and maybe even a cup size. Going to try this in a 42I if they even have it and see how that goes.

Other than the sizing it’s a pretty standard bra. It has ribbing in the band and I’m guessing it’s supposed to be tight to keep it from falling down but it isn’t even wearable with how tight they’ve made it.

I have been wearing this bra style for over 2 decades and it is the bra that made me a LOYAL Lane Bryant bra customer. Not one single bra from another brand in my drawers for over 20 years because of THIS bra style and the cotton, wire, unlined tshirt style.

It doesn’t dig into my arm pits and hurt like the full coverage bras and I have tried nearly ALL of your styles and repeatedly turn to this style! I don’t want plunges, don’t want MORE cleavage, don’t want extra padding (I despise your lightly padded bras, they all curl on me and it shows under my clothing!), and I don’t want extra boost! I want a basic shaped bra for everyday use! There are times for the pretty, specialty bras, but for every day use, this one does it.

They last forever, too, which is why I continually come back for more. They are an exceptional value. The straps don’t dig into my shoulders, the unlined cotton cups caress my girls and provide a natural shape that looks pleasing under clothing.

The wire provides good support and doesn’t create the uniboob look of the wireless. The cups and wire nicely lifts and separates and prevents extra sweat caused by cleavage pushing bras. This bra is so comfortable I can and do sleep in it without discomfort.

I hate letting the girls swing free when I sleep because it hurts. I never understood why my mother would rip off her bra the moment she got home from work until I tried wearing your OTHER bras! OMG, the torture! Wearing your other bras feels like *bleep* on earth!! This style, along with the cotton, wire, unlined tshirt bra had me oblivious to bra discomfort that other women experience.

The other thing I like about these cotton bras is that if my weight fluctuates a bit, be it up or down, I can still wear these because the cups hold the stretch well. Right now I am a 42DDD and they can stretch larger but always shrink back as needed and don’t end up stretched out.

I’m telling you I could sing the praises all day long of this modest bra. It is simply the best! Please don’t take it away! I used to be able to reliably wear about 2 of your bra styles over the years, this being one of them, but you keep taking away or redesigning my favorite wired cotton bras that don’t dig into my armpits.

If you discontinue this bra, I will be forced to shop elsewhere because I have tried your other styles over and over and they DON’T work for me! Your other wired styles are painful to wear because of the armpit issue and the unwired smoosh my breasts and give them a strange silouhette and don’t give as good of support.

This is my usual bra size but after reading reviews I ordered it in several sizes and I’m so glad I did. It barely hooked on the last set of hooks and it felt I like I was being crushed it was so tight.

The next size up fit perfectly.

This bra is wonderful, looks good and makes me feel good too. Much better than expensive bras nice to know that Vanity Fair has my back when it comes to the bare essentials. Thanks Vanity Fair!

I bought this bra in both black and nude. When the Jude bra arrived it was covered in stains so that was the first down fall of these bras. Although the bra is quite comfortable, the sizing runs small.

I am usually a 10D when sizing runs true however, I needed to go up to a 12DD in this bra. Even then I wear the bra on the last links and it feels too fitted. Probably wouldn’t buy this item, I was recommended by a friend but I’m a little disappointed in the product.

In saying that, when wearing as a strapless bra, it holds perfectly well. Maybe it just doesn’t suit my body type correctly? Lucky I bought the bras while on sale (30% off).

I’m size 10A and this fits really snugly around my body. If you have a chance to try it on before buying I strongly recommend it. Or buy the bra strap extender and wait until it naturally stretches. Apart from that the colour fits my skin tone perfectly and it doesn’t slide down at all.

Love the fit and comfort of my black version so much I bought two in the beige/nude. Unfortunately they are too light-toned and were visible under a basic white tee (my skin tone is pretty pale too).

So I recommend this bra for the perfect fit but not if you need it to work as a nude.
