Never used a wheel before but really want to try one with having gt7 and did not want to spend the earth in case I did not like it. This is a great wheel very happy with it did take abit to set up to how I want the driving experience to feel did not take long to get used to using a wheel well worth it on gt7.
Purchased this on Sunday afternoon ,had to return it for a refund on Wednesday , worked fine for 2 days then stopped working and you could not control the direction of the car. seemed as though something had come apart inside as the wheel would not turn properly had hardly done any work, obviously very poorly made.
Get the authentic driving experience with our official Pro-Steering-Controller! With a variety of driving modes from which you can choose, you can easily adjust the sensitivity of the steering wheel depending on the type of race and the route.
Optimize your racing performance, as this model offers 270° rotation and active vibrations to simulate realistic driving feelings. The large pedals with foot-rest system and anti-skid pads offer maximum stability.
Gear shifting is also included. This text is machine translated.
Just got the wheel and honestly it was better than I expected. The grip felt nice and it works great in games like the f1 game and GTA. The suction cups work great but only on glass and polished surfaces but overrall, it’s great.

GOOD – Strong force-feedback drive – Well constructed, comfortable wheel – Very customizable on PC BAD – Wheel clamp doesn’t work on desks with lips and ront support beams – Pedals don’t stay still on floor – Very limited PlayStation compatibility – Short USB cable for living room use – Loud shifting paddles – Poor documentation As a product in itself, the T248 is pretty good.
The wheel is constructed well, has a comfortable grip, and the buttons are placed smartly for quick and easy actuation. The paddle shifters have a nice, crisp magnetic actuation, but are very clacky and loud.
The wheel does have a display unit, which isn’t common on the less expensive wheel controllers, and can be used to display various things like speed, RPMs, and other info. More on that display later.
The pedal base and arms are plastic, but pretty sturdy, and the pedals themselves are a nice brushed aluminum. You can adjust the pedal face spacing on the arms and the brake pedal has an adjustable spring ( two different springs with a spacer for four stiffness levels.
The throttle and clutch pedals can’t be adjusted unless you do some rudimentary modding yourself. It’s fairly straightforward to setup. The steering wheel has its own wall power brick and connects to your PlayStation or computer with a USB cable.
The pedal unit connects to wheel using a proprietary cable, and the wheel unit has an additional DIN connector so you can add a shifter or e-brake module to the system. The wheel then clamps to a table or desk and the pedal unit sits on the floor.
All the cable connectors on the wheel are un the underside, so you must wire everything up before mounting it, which is annoying. However, to use the system well requires a lot more time and money than one might originally think.
Logitech claims the drive system is 70% more powerful than their previous model, and that seems true as it can generate some very strong force feedback effects. However, that also means the wheel needs to be mounted very sturdily.
A typical computer desk or kitchen table will suffice, but if you want to clamp this on folding table or TV tray so you can play on your couch, forget it. The clamp won’t work well on desks or tables that have a roll lip or support boards on the edge.
The pedals are, frankly, unusable just left on the floor. Even when adjusted to the lightest resistance, the brake pedal is very stiff. The pedal unit will move around more than your Rock Band drum kit.
The base has rubber feet, but isn’t heavy enough to stay put on its own on hard floors. It doesn’t have any sort of hooks or claws to grip carpet. Bracing it against a wall helps a little, but the unit will still rock back and lift up at the front when you press the pedals.
Like the wheel, they need to be securely mounted to actually use. The frames on both the wheel and pedals have standard M6 threaded holes for bolting them to other surfaces, and that’s the real crux of the T248.
Though it’s supposedly marketed as an “entry-level” or “low-budget” FF wheel, it’s designed to be used in sim racing frames and cockpits. Even if you don’t go for a full simulation setup with surround displays and a 5-point harness seat, you’re still looking at a couple hundred dollars to buy a basic frame for the wheel and pedals.
If you’ve got carpentry or welding skills, you can make yourself one for less, but that’s still costly in materials and especially time. Gaming compatibility can be a mixed bag, depending on platform.
On PC, you can use it pretty much however you want since you have full access to the device’s control panel and configuration. Sadly, the documentation explaining things is practically non-existent. Case in point, the manual uses “encoders” in different ways, talking both about settings for FF encoder strength curves, and again in talking about four different encoders.
The first one made sense to me, as I know an encoder is a circuit that interprets FF commands and converts it into instructions to the FF motors. The second I thought meant the wheel had four different encoder units that would change the feel ( not just the strength ) of the various FF effects.
After much searching on YouTube and Reddit, they’re just four different profiles for programmable buttons. Some PC games have native presets specifically for the T248, making configuration for the game easier.
Other games will require you to manually map the various axes and buttons to the controls. Some people have reported problems with some game compatibility ( often Forza Horizon 4 ), but I haven’t seen any in the few games I’ve tried, including FH4.
I did immediately upgrade to firmware 2. 0 after getting the wheel, so perhaps that solves some of the earlier issues. However, just because a game supports the wheel doesn’t mean it supports the wheel’s display ( the Thrustmaster site has a list ).
On PlayStation 4, compatibility is rather limited. The PS4 itself will recognize the T248 as a controller and you can use it normally in the main system menu to select and launch your games. As on PC, Thrustmaster lists games that support the controller, and a subset of those games that also support the wheel display.
I tried it with DiRT 2. 0 and had no problems. Sadly, the T248 doesn’t work with any game not on Thrustmaster’s list ( at least the ones I’ve tried ). I don’t mean you don’t get FF effects, other games don’t recognize it AT ALL.
I was hoping for some kind of generic control mapping, like the steering wheel mapped to the left thumbstick, throttle to R2, brake to L2, etc, with no FF effects, but at least normal wheel centering.
But not even the steering wheel face buttons will work when in a non-supported game. I understand the wheel is mainly meant for in-depth simulation racers, but it’d be nice if it could also work with more casual games like Burnout Paradise, Wipeout, even Horizon Chase.
Gaming performance and FF fidelity largely depends on the game you’re playing. On Forza Horizon 4 on PC, I had no problem. Some minor tweaks and most things felt right, if a bit squirrelly. Also keep in mind on PC it will be a combination of how you configured the device in its own control panel and the game’s own settings.
In DiRT 2. 0 on PS4, it felt very rough and stiff. Even after lowering the FF settings in game, I still felt I was wrestling the wheel the entire time. It’s good to know the wheel’s drive is strong enough to do that, bad that games specifically meant to support it don’t have better default configurations for it.
As to whether I’d recommend this to someone else is very situational. For someone looking for a fun peripheral for living room gaming, absolutely not. The cost of the T248 itself is almost as much as the gaming console you’re playing on.
The supplied USB cable is rather short, only 2m, so reaching from your TV to a chair or couch is iffy ( at this price I don’t know why there isn’t a wireless option ). Add in the cost for some kind of basic frame and mount and that’s a lot of money.
Such a frame also makes it a semi-permanent fixture in a room, not something you can easily pull out of the closet when you want to do some racing. And considering the limited compatibility for console racing games, I can’t see that being worth it.
For someone looking to get into more dedicated sim racing on PC, it’s a different matter. The wheel can mount well enough to most computer desks and it wouldn’t be difficult to frame up a simple brace to secure the pedals to the floor or desk legs.
Compatibility and flexibility on PC is much better than console, so you can use it on many more games. Its current price is fair, but if Thrustmaster dropped it by $50 ( or if you can find it on sale ) it’s much more compelling.
If you’re already deep into sim racing and you’re considering a dedicated racing setup, I would say the T248 might not be enough. Even a basic cockpit setup, including the cockpit frame, wheel, shifter, pedals, and other accessories is going to run you $600ish or more.
If you’re already spending that much, rather than buying a T248 now and then spending more to upgrade shortly down the road, you might be better off paying a little more upfront for a more premium wheel, one that’s larger and features a quick-disconnect.
The Thrustmaster T300 RS GT Edition racing wheel uses powerful motors to let them fight against turns, simulating the sorts of forces experienced in real world. It is suitable for use with PC/PlayStation 3/PlayStation 4.
Racing wheel is compatible with PC, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4. Dimensions: 11″ dia. Comes in black color with brushed metal central spokes construction. Buttons and controls: 13 x action button, 1 x D-pad, 3 x pedal set.
Features reinforced rubber texture on the wheel’s entire circumference. 2 large fixed paddle shifters on the racing wheel. Tact switch with life cycle exceeding 10,000,000 activations. Accelerator and clutch pedals are adjustable in height and spacing.
Brake pedal has progressive resistance and comes with a conical rubber brake mod. 100% metal wheel-mounted sequential paddle shifters, super high-end tact switch.
I made a long and detail research on different wheels because I didn’t want to pay too much as a beginner. However, I was also looking for some decent force feedback. This wheel came up as the best option, but it was not in stock for quite some time.
I must say it worth the wait. So far I tried Kartkraft, Assetto Corsa Competizione, and F1 2020. The wheel is responsive and provides really good feedback. Pedals are good and provides great sensitivity for the price.
Lastly, packaging was good, and the item arrived without any damage, on time.
Meet the next generation of racing wheels. The award-winning Logitech G design is reengineered to dial into your game physics, delivering unprecedented realism. Feel the pistons pumping, the gravel crunching, and every shift, drift, and hairpin turn like never before.
I bought this G923 and ended up returning it a few hours later, and this is why. First, I got home and opened the box, started taking the contents out and the steering wheel module already had a rattling piece of plastic inside, which was a huge disappointment even before giving it a go.
The setup is really fast as it’s mostly plugged and play, and with the G-Hub app already installed on my computer it was easy to customize each key etc. I used it on PC, tried it with Assetto Corsa, Assetto Corsa Competizione, dirt 2.
0, Dirt4, F1 2018 so I gave it a fair trial with multiple games. I’m going to split my review with pros and cons. Pros: – It’s a very affordable setup in comparison to the bigger brands, so if you want to get started with Sim racing I would say this is your solution but don’t expect amazing, the fact that you can snag one at your local best buy is a plus comparing it to the competition.
– G-Hub app makes key binding very easy and fast, plenty to customize (if you’re playing on PC) – Not bulky as some units, with a decent build quality for the price and ease of set up/removal if you have to secure it to a PC desk.
Cons: – The wheel is very small, – The True force is nothing but capturing the sound frequency of the engine of the car, translating it into some weird and unusual feel on the steering wheel. At one point I muted the sound of the speaker to hear how loud the feedback motor was and I could hear the engine revving up/down through the steering wheel, I am not a fan of that.
– The pedals are not the worst, but the brake pedal does not come with any sort of adjusting, nor does it have a feedback feature as some other pedals would do. This is a deal-breaker, as you’re missing half the “feedback” of the experience (why not add that to the brake pedal? it’s just a tiny rumble motor that attaches inside the cylinder.
the wheel has it, why stop halfway?) – THE CLUNKING THIS THING MAKES IS INSANELY LOUD AND ANNOYING!! My wheel came defective as noted above, I thought that was the issue attributed to the rattling but upon searching on youtube before walking into my local BestBuy, I saw many video reviews, with a lot of people on the comment section also describing the same “rattling/clunk” issues.
All in all, this is more for a kid under 15 years old to enjoy from time to time, but this is not a good choice if you want to experience sim-racing at a budget, I recommend staying away from it if that’s your expectations.
Sure, maybe I was expecting a lot more from this but there are far better options considering that for about $500 more you can get a decent (not the best) direct drive set up.
I bought this after playing F1 2020 for a few weeks with a controller and thinking to myself “this ain’t it”. After just a few days with the G923 I feel like my entire experience with sim racing has changed for the better.
And my lap times have proved immensely. I’m having fun on a video game for the first time in years. I’ll skip all the fine points that others have pointed out and get right to the punch. It sounds like the big win with this unit is the TrueFeel, which half of sim racers seem to be skeptical about, instead preferring the T300.
To someone who has no experience in the racing sim arena, but has driven high performance sports cars, I have no complaints with the feeling or noise coming from the wheel (quieter than an analog sports car by a long shot).
In terms of set up it was pretty much plug and play out of the box. I had to adjust some wheel settings for F1 specifically, the biggest one being changing the operating range of the wheel in G-Hub from 920 to 540 – at 920, it was impossible to get the wheel around in time to make an opposite turn.
This one adjustment completely changed the feel so if you’re having some issues with it out of the box, look at some YouTube videos and articles specific to your game and someone has probably figured it out.
With anything Logitech the build quality is what you expect – really solid. Wire management is great, and the clamps/vice used to keep the steering wheel on a desk (if not mounting with hardware) is really solid and easy to mount or take off.
My only real concern is just long term use of a leather steering wheel – I’ll probably find some racing gloves and keep some sanitizer closer by to avoid wear and tear.
This is a very good wheel. I gave it a conservative 4 stars because they don’t allow fractions, or it would be 4. 75. The ding is because I had to uninstall/reinstall Forza Motorsport 7 on Xbox X to get it to see the wheel.
I previously tried a G920, and it didn’t work either. Frustrated, I got the idea to try removing the game and reinstalling with the wheel attached and it worked. The break pedal is much better than the G920, so I don’t regret paying more for this one, plus the feedback is more realistic and smoother game play.
Some other downsides are that you still can’t use the LED’s across the top of the wheel, or the other dials in FM7. I can’t wait for FM8 to come out and hope this wheel can really shine and use all its features fully.
Worth noting, I have the wheel mounted in one of those metal frame stand and the pedals bolted into the base of the stand.

Also featured are realistic 900-degree wheel rotation force feedback technology to feel every inch of the road for maximum control gas and break pedals and a sequential stick shift.
So I was learning to drive when I bought this and thought that surely I’d be able to get a true-to-life experience from playing the first result driving simulator game on google. Well I was wrong about that bit but it was still pretty fun to use.
All of the buttons do nothing in that game, the gear stick does nothing, but the pedals and the steering have some nice funky physics. Basically imagine doing 120 on a road that looks like a german autobahn except the npcs are all on the left and you’re holding both the brake and accelerator to the floor.
i think that game pretty much takes the brake as a gentle suggestion, sort of like an anti-accelerator (important to note – this is not how it works in an actual car and from personal experience I would not suggest trying this for yourself to confirm).
Anyway the wheel is mostly recognised by windows when you plug it in and if you expect any more than that from a usb 2. 0 peripheral you’re being unreasonable. Four stars.
I’ve happily used the DFGT on PC for 9 years. My only complaint is the inbuilt sequential gearstick which feels tacky and has been so pointless that I’ve never used it over the gear buttons built into the back of the wheel.
Even with the useless gearstick (which is easy to ignore), it’s still a great and cheap product. You don’t need the underside of your desk to be flat; as the clamp is short, and the pedal resistance is soft enough to stay put without needing to be screwed into a rig.
The force feedback is great, I’ve always been able to feel the car, and it has enough power for me that I keep it under the strongest setting. One of the best features of the wheel is how comfortable it is, far more comfortable than the more expensive G29.
There’s a wealth of buttons, and they’re all placed as if a lot of forethought went into the design. More expensive wheels might be heavier, have snappier feedback, harder pedals, and require more space for mounting.
The DFGT doesn’t fall short of more expensive wheels, it’s just different, as the lower weight, smooth feedback, easy pedals, and ease of mounting are qualities I appreciate. That, and coupled with the fact that it’s survived all those years makes it a 5/5 for me.
The good: *Force feedback is strong (this feature can be adjusted through wheel settings to taylor your gaming experience), this means that you can feel wet roads, gravel, potholes, etc. *Lots of programmable buttons, so you can use the wheel without going back to the keyboard while you are in-game.
*Steering wheel is gear driven, and not a belt. This increases longevity and ensures consistent accuracy. * 900 deg. of rotation for a more realistic feel. The bad: * Pedals feel very cheap, and delicate * No H shifter, and no flap paddles, just 2 buttons in the back and a sequential stick shift.
* *Offcentering of the steering wheel** after using it in game for a while. Only gets fixed by unpluging USB and pluging it back for self calibration. Can be pretty annoying, unless you do not mind pausing the game every 10 mins to recalibrate wheel.
Conclusion: In my opinion this wheel is nice if you get it for a nice deal or a factory refurbished with warranty. Not worth paying more than US$120 for it.

Pros: Works as it should when fixed together and firmware updated. Cons: Screw to hold steering wheel wheel in place could be better implemented. Instructions to use with PC had to be Googled. No software to link controller to keyboard commands.
The wheel is really really good when it works but bottoms on the wheel have stopped working and it makes my ps5 crash constantly when I try to play GT7. It also disconnects when I am using sometimes which is really annoying.
This shouldn’t be happening with a wheel at this price.

In January of this year the decision was made to jump into online SIM racing. I got the opportunity (I wish everyone could) to test out literally everything on the market due to a close friendship I have with an influencer in the SIM racing world.
With that exposure, I tested several different cockpits, wheels, pedals, monitor stands, monitors, basically everything. I am going to surprise some people by some of my final decisions and what I am racing today.
Time and time again I heard experts in the SIM racing world just breezing right past Logitech wheels and pedals to the “real” wheels and pedals. During that same period of time I found myself going back to the Logitech G923 for PS5 and PC.
One of the reasons I kept going back to this wheel is because the G923 fit so nicely on the Next Level F-GT cockpit from Next Level Racing. Putting those two together just had a natural feeling for me.
One of the largest selling points for the G923 is the “Trueforce” action when using the wheel. It replicates what you feel when actually racing. The feedback is just awesome. I only tested 5 different wheels and I am by no means an expert when it comes to SIM racing products, but I kept returning to the G923 because it felt realistic to me, which was a requirement for me to continue in this SIM racing adventure.
Here is what I put together. Next Level F-GT cockpit. Triple monitor stand from Next Level. Keyboard and mouse tray from Next Level. 16 locking wheel castors from Next Level. 65″ by 24″ Floor Mat from Next Level.
3 Asus 27″ IPS FHD G-Sync Compatible Gaming monitors (VG279QR). Logitech G923 Wheel and Pedals. Logitech G Driving Force Shifter. *Note* The 3 Asus Monitors were purchased online from Best Buy and they look awesome and it was a great price (I think they were $215.
00 each). I also have a wireless Logitech keyboard, a wired Logitech headset, and two 12 button, button boxes in use. I only race on IRacing via the PC. Also, if someone is wondering why I didn’t go to a higher resolution gaming monitors, I was limited due to using an existing desktop and CPU, which is a Dell XPS8930, which included a NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060, which handles the 3 Asus monitors quite well.
All in all, I am very happy with my current setup. I’ve ran the flag up the flagpole for the Logitech G923 because this is a great wheel and doesn’t seem to get the credit it should. It’s not a direct drive wheel, but it suits me just fine and for $399.
First race wheel I’ve owned. This isn’t a technical/spec review, more so one of practicality for new users such as myself. I considered going all out with a Fanatec (buy once cry once) but the cost was ever increasing, and as a noob to this it became overwhelming to be honest.
Based on that, and that I’m just a casual gamer, I went with the G923. The feedback from the wheel is good, definitely took time to get used to moving from a PS5 controller. After a few times going back and forth between race wheel and controller I was able to go a few seconds faster with the wheel and really started to enjoy it.
I’ll admit that initially I thought I’d made a mistake in buying it as it felt oddly foreign. It’s a game, so a lot of sensory perceptions are missing from driving an actual car of course, so you have to tune your mind into it if that makes sense.
The brake pedal is heavy for sure, I tried the unit with a little rig and then put my chair behind it… I found that the chair would move back and swivel too much while you’re gaming, so I didn’t have a good feel for the brake, it was either full brake or no brake.
If you can get a proper rig like Playseat where you’re kept firmly in place, it’s a much improved experience and you can become more precise with the foot controls. Overall, I would recommend it.

During the recent times of being inside I was inspired by Nascar gameplay on iracing to buy a wheel. So I bought a wheel but not this one. No I went to Walmart and bought a t80 to see if I even wanted to get into Sim racing.
My lord I fell in love with it. Especially with dirt rally on the psvr but I felt that I was missing something important without the force feed back. So after 2 weeks of waiting and watching reviews I bought this one and I’m 100 percent grateful I made the move to the force! You will feel the vehicle while in races and with that you will improve on your favorite game! The USB works well if you are on pc make sure you switch it to ps3 before plugging it in.
Some situations the wheels motor won’t be on but the wheel will still be registering in the computer! On the playstation make sure it’s on ps4 for the ps4 and it’s a plug and play! As always adjust the settings to your liking! Hopefully I’m reminded to do a follow up review for the reliability of the wheel.
I have read that it doesn’t have the best longevity. But we will have to see for that! But during my 30 hours of use for long periods has been on point with no issues!.
A great wheel except a few months after the 2 year warranty runs out the left downshift paddle starts sticking. I’ve bought 2 and the 2nd one is acting up now. The 2nd wheel was actually the T 80 but the wheel was exactly the same and compatible with the t150.
Just went to buy another T80 got home and found out the new t 80 is a piece of crap. Not sure I want another T 150. I do put a lot of hours on it so maybe that’s to be expected.
I decided to dip my toes into sim racing and driving recently and got hooked. The thrustmaster series are about the closest there is to “affordable” when it comes to force feedback wheels. This wheel and pedal set is a real pleasure to drive.
The wheel has a nice feel and the force feedback is great. I can’t recommend this enough.
Relentlessly engineered for the perfect driving experience, Driving Force by Logitech G takes the latest racing games to the highest level. You simply haven’t experienced racing simulation if you haven’t grabbed your supercar by the wheel.
Be sure to select the right wheel for your needs: G29 is for PS4, PS3 and PC Immersive driving simulation comes to life in the details. Dual-motor force feedback makes you feel every tire slip and terrain change.
Solid steel ball bearings in the wheel shaft give weight and durability. Stainless steel paddle shifters and floor pedals apply precision force. Hand-stitched leather covered wheel makes every car luxury.
Helical gearing delivers smooth, quiet operation. Maintain a more realistic driving body position with the separate floor pedal unit with integrated throttle, brake, and clutch pedals. Driving Force lets you comfortably accelerate, brake and change gears with the feel of an actual car.

Reviews From Real Customers
This wheel has been a blast. I have never been one to really be into racing games and with the downfall of first-person shooters lately, I decided to give it a shot. The wheel was reasonably priced and MC even price matched Logitech for another $20 in savings.
This is an excellent beginner wheel but there are a few things to note. The first is I would recommend a stand. They are pretty cheap online between 50-100 dollars. The feedback on this wheel, while great can be a little jerky at times.
This caused my monitor to shake as I was racing around. I highly recommend this wheel as a great beginner wheel. It links perfectly with Forza with a little in-game tuning and has been a blast. If you get the wheel I highly recommend the warranty.
MC employees are very open with how the product warranties can benefit you. Look into it.
The Wireless Racing Wheel APEX clamps securely to your table or racing wheel stand with sturdy clamps and steel parts. The full size pedals are built to last. Change from 270 degree to 180 degree turn ratio on the fly and fine tune other settings such as dead zone, pedal sensitivity and more.
Wanted a inexpensive steering wheel/pedal setup for PS4 Wasn’t interested in spending a lot of money for force feedback. This unit fits the bill perfectly, and works great The steering wheel has L2 and R2 buttons on the rim that work the gas and brake if you don’t want to use the pedals.
I would recommend this wheel to anyone who just wants an inexpensive wheel without force feedback. It does have vibration feedback which simulates road bumps, and tyres hitting the curb etc, It is much easier to drive with this than a controller.
We have a rug so pedals do not move suckers stuck to a tray really well so far really pleased.
Absolutely terrible. The initial setup is easy but the games it is compatible with VS the games isn’t completely shifts the tides. The ONLY game I have found to have worked with this reliably is CarX drift racing online.
I would not recommend this wheel and highly recommend the PXN V900 racing wheel it’s a little more expensive but it works on pretty much any racing or drifting game out that supports racing wheels.
It’s an affordable, good, stable and strong wheel. The feel is quite good. Lots of programmable buttons. Adjustable sensitivity and deadzone. Easily attached and detached to the table. The only thing I found unpractical is the pedal set.
It’s somehow not comfortable enough because of the design. It’s too high and crude. But still a must have if you’re looking for a relatively cheap and nice racing wheel.

Get in the race with the all new Rwa: Racing Wheel Apex for Play Station 4, Play Station 3 and PC. Officially licensed by Sony. The Hori Racing Wheel Apex for Sony Ps3, PS4 and PC.
Not a bad wheel (much better than the Ferrari wheel). Has all the controls, except the two buttons on the right and left top of the wheel are in the way. They are meant for thumb switches but are too low and end up getting pressed when racing hard.
The wheel also stands too tall on it’s mount. I find myself stretching my neck to see over it. Overall, a good wheel, works as advertised and compatible with PC.
Absolutely NO online or social media instructions to assist in tuning the wheel. Doesn’t work with PS3 NASCAR Victory Edition 2015. Testing the PS4 is currently under way. Save your money if you demand better equipment.
Don’t even get me started on the shipping. Or the 20% restocking fee or that you are responsible for the shipping back as well. Just to return this cost 50% of the original cost. If you’re driving a farm sim this is perfect for you.
The Logitech G27 Racing Wheel puts you in an amazing world of video gaming. With this racing wheel, sliding sideways around a curve becomes more fun. The Logitech kids racing wheel is designed to deliver the definitive simulated racing experience for PC and PlayStation3 games.
It features a powerful, dual-motor force feedback mechanism that smoothly and accurately simulates traction loss, weight shift, and road feel. The exceptionally quiet helical gear system virtually eliminates steering noise.
The PlayStation 3 racing wheel features six-speed shifter with push-down reverse gear that helps you shift to the right gear. The RPM/shift indicator LEDs are integrated with the racing game software and prompt the user when to shift the gears.
The Logitech G27 Racing Wheel is leather-wrapped for a comfortable racing experience. The three pedals, steel gas, brake, and clutch, provide accurate throttle, braking, and shifting control, respectively.
The G27 is a legend in the racing sim community. It has an attractive design, sturdy and built to last. It has a strong force feedback motor– you can really feel the virtual forces affecting your car.
But I guess it really depends on the developers and how well-designed the FFB is. Since this wheel’s FFB is not belt-driven, it may not be as smooth, and you can really hear the gears grinding at times.
The h-shifter feels toy-like at times, although there are some simple modifications you can do to alleviate this somewhat. The pedals feel good for the most part. Logitech did a good job of replicating the feel of a real car’s pedals.
You can modify the brake pedal’s spring to get a more nonlinear feel, but this modification is very complicated, not like the h-shifter mod. The paddle shifters take too much force to actuate, in my opinion.
Not sure if there is a mod to make them trigger easier. OVERALL, this is a very good wheel for the price, and is the first real foray into true force feedback, before diving into the $1K wheel kits.
The price tag at first boggles the mind, but once you have it arrive at your door you can see why before even removing it from the box. The unit itself is encased in foam and packaged in two boxes for safety.
Once out of the box the building is quite easy and the smell of genuine leather emanates always. I bought one for my son and it is amazingly durable and customisable. The feel of it sitting in it is equivalent to a race car, it has an amazing feel and no part seems cheaply made.
Downsides, majour downside of course being the price tag, but as mentioned once you fell one you see it is justified. The other being no wheels to move it around, but these can be easily installed from a hardware shop and the basic idea is not to move it anyways.
The other main downside is that the plate that holds the steering wheel is too high for little kids when the braces are used, without the braces it bounces around a bit and the pedals are too far away for kids.
Mine I have not attached the pedals, simply use a clamp to hold them in place so for ease of swapping easily for little kids to teens/adults. The braces for the steering wheel plate do not fit at all but again a large clamp holds it up for teens/adults and can be removed easily for little kids to have it lower.
All in all, no regretsat all with buying this, I would recommend any dad with a son to buy one!.
First off, this spring arrived within a couple of days from Australia to Indiana USA! That alone has me excited! Secondly, while $20+ seems excessive for a simple spring, I can agree but did not have any luck sourcing one that fit easily with the same tension I needed to upgrade the brake “feel”.
I placed this spring in the brake pedal spring holder along with a cutout of some high-density foam that was the length of the spring and fit inside. This gives it that “stiff” feel when you push the pedal down to the floor and adds more firmness to the pedal.
I placed the old brake spring in the clutch pedal, and the old clutch spring into the accelerator. This gives me a much more realistic feel to the pedals across the board. Be aware that if your wheel stand doesn’t have good weight or traction to it, these upgrades can push the pedals away from you.
The carpet tack-strip inside the Logitech pedals becomes useless after this upgrade and will call for your pedals to be more secured to the floor or stand by other means. An allen key, and a phillips-head screwdriver is all you need to do this 10 minute upgrade.
Setup: Thrustmaster T300RS, Logitech G27 pedal set w/serial convertor, TH8A Shifter. Connected to PS4.
The Logitech G29 enhances your console experience. You will never want to race with a regular controller again after you add Driving Force to your controller selection. G29 game steering wheel is designed for the latest racing games for your Play Station4 or Play Station3 console.
G29 Driving Force also works on your PC using Logitech Gaming Software. The Logitech Driving Force Shifter allows you to enjoy an authentic racing experience on your Play Station 4, Xbox One or PC with its solid-steel shaft and hand-stitched leather construction.
The six-speed H-pattern shifter with push-down reverse smoothly moves from gear to gear and clicks into each one for accurate shifting. Mount the shifter to your table or racing rig to enjoy stability during even the most heated racing maneuvers.
This is an amazing starter wheel/pedal set, especially for the price. Everything feels very high quality, and there are so many metal parts that make it feel extra premium. The leather wrapped wheel feel so nice as well, much better than most other higher end wheels to be honest.
The force feedback is also very impressive, I did not expect it at all for this price. It feels closer to a medium tier wheel force feedback, which makes the price even more compelling. Finally, the button positioning is perfect.
The D-Pad and main buttons are all within your thumbs reach, which makes it so easy to add/customize additional functions to your wheel. This is something other, more expensive wheels like the T300 RS really miss the mark.
On top of great positioning, this Logitech G29 has additional functions like the rotating wheel and up/down buttons that make them perfect for common racing functions that require selecting from multiple options.
You will not be disappointed if you can get your hands on this wheel, and honestly the new version is probably worth the money since it is so similar.
Firs time I got this is worked perfect. I love it. You can make the 270 degrees turn. Just like a real car giving a precise accuracy to the road allowing precision driving. I usually use it for the ATS American Truck simulator.
Gas and if you get the shifter it works even better. It will respond just like a car or Truck would when you make those perfect turns and the near-impossible turns that you don’t get with the keyboard.
The shifter will allow you to skip gears real quick in ATS and the Pedals will allow you to quick shift as you need it. This is more for ATS than a racing game but with the extra 270 you probably get more precision driving down to the last degree allow you the perfect edge on the perfect turns.
However, I made the mistake that I left it plugged in and there was a surge and it fried the centering on the wheel. I bought another one and never had a problem. Recommend when you are done playing to unplug the power.
One last thing, A while back this was kind of hard to get. If you are into racing or trucking, this and the shifter is worth the 399. Just remember to unplug the power when you are done for the night.
(Yea, its 399. If it wasn’t I would not worry) The last thing, it is very sturdy and I would not pay a penny less for it as long as they keep the quality.

This special GT edition of the T300 RS steering wheel is distinguished by the new design of the removable GT steering wheel and pedal set.
Amazing wheel – First venture into driving sim, and indeed this is my first wheel. So not a lot to compare to, other than a friends Logitech G29 – which is way below the quality of this wheel from my limited experience.
This one is fantastic on PS4, PS5 and PC so far, with easy setup and switching between the consoles etc. The force feedback is amazing, super powerful and I’ve not yet taken it above 50% – Have used it on Gran Turismo 7 – works flawlessly as it does with Forza, Grid Legends and Need for Speed too.
What can I say. I love it and it will forever change driving games for me now. They just feel so much better with this wheel. Scan, as always, super super rapid on dispatch and delivery, quality smooth transaction – Always a pleasure to buy from.
This wheel is a huge upgrade over my 10 year old Logitech DFGT. Anyone considering upgrading from gear driven to belt, I can say first hand you wish you did it sooner. This combined with the TH8A shifter makes for an incredibly immersive experience.
The build quality of the wheel is solid, it feels nice to hold and use, and has plenty of functions. My only con is the “quick release” system isn’t very quick, but a very nice feature nonetheless. As for scan, they have been brilliant yet again.
Order was picked within an hour and dispatched the same day to DPD and arrived the next day. Scan gave updates at every step of the way. TL;DR excellent product, excellent service.
Pros: Well designed and well build product, has lots of functionality with good setup option. Drive and feedback is the best I’ve experienced, which gives that extra feel when racing. Cons: Buttons is my only issue.
!! I got the add-on Farrari f1 wheel, which looks amazing and the part. issue, the Buttons are labelled up for racing as you would see on the car. But when using the game settings it says use no:4 ? there are no numbers on the wheel or Buttons and to top it off, their not in number order ? so now, everyone has to send time working out what does what and with 20+ Buttons that’s a lot to get used too.

Secure the racing wheel unit to your desk or a table with integrated suction cups. You can also switch between three driving modes to suit your desired sensitivity for different games.
Wheel and pedal box looks well made and a good price. Initially had an issue with the pedal box until I realised all I needed to do was reprogram the buttons. Just one annoying thing though, each time I switch it on it Does have to be reprogrammed again.
If you didnt need to do this it would have got 5 stars.
