Appears to be an excellent high quality shoe. Was excited to finally receive them but very disappointed that when they finally came after10 days that they were far oversized than any other 10. 5 W shoe ive ever tried on even when ordering online.
Now cant wear them, have to wait to send back (they did give me free shipping on return) hope that a 9. 5 W will fit and wait to recieve the new pair (which they dont have in my color for 2 months so grudgingly im switching) Frustrating.
The customer service rep was unsympathetic, curt and unfriendly. Basically told me there is no standard for sizing in the shoe industry. Im not a footwear professional so maybe im wrong but in my experience everyone ive ever tried are fairly close including but not limited to florsheim, brooks, merrell, new balance, ecco, wolverine, nike.
Im really hoping the replacement will fit and in the end will be a good experience. The shoe appearance, quality, comfort really seemed impressive. Even the insole was way above par. Also is fair to mention these shoes are Reeboks which I haven’t worn since my teen yrs (long time ago 😉 ).
Maybe they just run different?. Ill follow up when I get the new pair.
Most uncomfortable standing on a sideways slope. Footpad begins to roll, throwing into awkward posture. The laces are there for show only from what i can tell. they didnt snug up the shoe at all. Could feel the steel cap biting into side of foot.
Wore them about 5 times. Most uncomfortable steel toe shoes ive ever worn.
Reebok knows that life doesn’t come with a roadmap or an instruction manual and doesn’t care how strong you are. Sometimes you have to work through it – even fight through it. Empowering people to win the fight and succeed by engineering and designing great sportswear is what Reebok does best.
The Soyay has a distinctive skate style that makes them fun to wear on and off work. Metal-free uppers in a black suede leather are durable and won’t scratch against surfaces. Inside a moisture-wicking nylon mesh lines the shoe.
Feet rest upon an EVA footbed that cushions and also is removable. These protective shoes have a steel toe that meets ASTM F2413 PT Class 75 Protective Toe standards for impact and compression and also meets electrical hazard standards.
A Grip Master slip-resisting outsole exceeds 0. 5 ratings for oily/wet with Mark II testing, helping you to stay afoot on a variety of flooring surfaces. Look great and be protected with the Soyay skate work shoe.
Steel toe front. Action nubuck overlays. Mesh fabric panels for cooling effect. Lace-up sporty casual comfort steel toe work sneaker design. Layered toe and side overlays. High abrasion textured leather panels.
Padded collar and tongue. Relaxed fit design for a roomy comfortable fit. Memory foam full length cushioned comfort insole. Shock absorbing supportive midsole.
I work in retail sales in wine and spirits and these shoes are perfect to wear while working. The steel toe is useful should a case of wine or spirits fall onto my foot and the soles are very slip resistant, helpful when a customer drops a bottle which breaks.
They are roomy for my feet, I can flex my toes while wearing them. The only drawback, and it’s a minor one, is that they are very heavy. I wear them everyday while working and would recommend them.
I bought a pair of these 6 years ago. i work 12 hour shifts 5 days a week. When Im off, I still wear them everywhere I go. They are still in good shape and will probably last a couple more years. Im worried they are going to quit making them so Im ordering another pair to be on the safe side.
Im 50 years old and have never had a better more reliable work shoe than these. Love them.
My husband bought these shoes for his stocking job at Walmart. In his job he lifts (and very rarely drops) very heavy boxes on his feet. Thank goodness for the steel toes! They are also cool enough and light enough that he can move quickly on his feet.
He says they are extremely comfortable and get him through his 10-hour shift of moving very big, very heavy boxes around. All in all, a GREAT work shoe!.
Work without Limits. Working without limits. Doing your job with pride. Going all in. That’s why modern work requires a modern shoe. Introducing Invader from Cat Footwear. If the name sounds like it could conquer all, that’s because it probably could.
This is Cat comfort and style at its best. Cat toughness with a steel toe. Cat Footwear’s iconic Intruder revamped. The tough, chunky, hiker-style silhouette that inspired a generation. Now ready to inspire what’s next.
Not comfortable at all. The steel toe hurt the side of my foot even with me ordering wide. I wore them to work 3 times. I even gave a few days between wearing to let feet recover. Each time they hurt more.
I called trying exchanging them for something else and they said that because I wore them, they won’t take them back. Very disappointed that they don’t back up there products. $120 down the toilet! Buyers beware!.
For being steel toes, they feel like casual shoes. But they grip the ground better than any shoes I own. Unfortunately, this leads to them picking up a lot of the pebbles that my work uses by the door, so I spend some time picking little rocks out of the tread multiple times a day.
The only mild downside it that they don’t seem to breathe much, so my feet are a fragrant force to be reckoned with, when I get home, but when mixed with my teenage son forgetting to put on deodorant today, I totally understand why no females want to live with us.
I’ve ordered boots from ya’ll and was excited to try some new ones. Fit was right on, I would have preferred a wider option but it wasn’t available. Took about a week or two to break in and they’ve been running fine.
Only down side was a strip of stitched leather began coming undone after a couple weeks. I stitched it back in and pretty confident it was for cosmetic anyways. Overall I would recommend buying these.

I kicked the sole loose by using other boot to take these boots off. I siliconed it several times & they’ve lasted over 4 years. I should’ve ordered another pair at Fingerhut’s 20% off discount but missed the deadline.
I’ll still order a new pair soon. Use caution when peeling these boots off after a long day. Overall these are the best steel-toe work boots I’ve ever owned.
The Pros, very comfy, memory foam insoles, almost no feel of the steel toe. Very slip resistant. Good construction. Mild athletic look. The Cons, outsoles have a wide footprint, takes a minute to get used to them, not very breathable, a tad heavy.
Overall if they would fix the wide outsole I’d buy another, they held together all around in warehouse work, wouldn’t recommend for construction. Budget friendly.
The main problem I would say with these shoes is that no matter what I do the memory foam makes it feel like my socks feel down. Not comfortable at all. I am wondering if I can return them. Not sure if it’s this pair or a problem with all.
I could not check at store due to the ones I have were the only ones in the store. Being in a bind I had to take them. If you have to wear all day expect your feet to scream at end of day to get out of them.

With Reebok work, you’re given the performance edge necessary to excel — in everything from a marathon work day to a critical mission.
Bought these for work. I don’t like the bumpy insole. I feel it even though it is memory foam. I put my own insoles in the shoe. On my feet all day and need the safety toes. They’re comfortable and not too heavy.
My decision to purchase these shoes, besides all the specs, was based on a review claiming it solved heel pain. It was so true. I can’t remember the last time my feet didn’t hurt on the job. The FIRST night on the job that I wore these, thinking they’d need breaking in like any other pair of shoes, NO! I moved quicker and felt great! I should mention a lasting side effect of my pregnancy from three years ago is hot feet.
Prepregnancy, my feet were always cold. Post pregnancy my feet are ALWAYS hot and painful, despite a healthy life style, to the point of leading to an intolerance of closed foot wear. I have to wear nonslip, closed, active footwear for work, however, and these shoes are now my dream solution made real.
I ordered a half size up, was glad I did. Otherwise, I love these shoes. Nice and lightweight. Already kept a screw from going into my foot on a job site. Looks like a normal tennis shoe enough I can where it anywhere without feeling it is too clunky looking.

I work in a warehouse and delivery. I wear the shoes 8 hours a day, 5 days a week. And in less then 2 months the shoes started coming apart. The upper leather potion started separating from the sole portion.
Amazingly comfortable boot!!!!! This is a LIGHT DUTY boot. Do not use for heavy construction. I made this mistake with my last pair and wore through them in about a month. But when I needed steel toe boots for riding my motorcycle I ran right back to these because I remembered how comfortable they were.
I think DeWalt boots don’t get enough credit for their boots. Well-made, durable, super comfortable boots. Sizing is true to size. I wear a 10. 5 in Nike, and 10. 5 in these fit just as well. The best part is they have a really great Arch, so if you need arch support these are the one! They are also pretty light for a steel toe boot.
Building on the success of CAT’s Outline boot, the Threshold steel toe boot continues to offer comfort at a great price. A slip resistant outsole keeps you sure footed, while the waterproof construction keeps your feet dry in wet conditions.
A leather upper for durability and a soft removable insole for comfort finish off this boot.
I work in a warehouse and put 8-10 miles on these boots every workday. I’ve had them for 11 months and can’t believe how well they’re holding up! Still look like new! Even the laces are tough as nails! BEST boots I’ve ever bough! Comfortable, durable, good looking, etc.
I walk so much that I need to swap out the insoles every 30 days but the boot soles show almost ZERO wear! I’ve blown through several heels in my socks but the boots are rock-solid! Crazy! Worth every penny!.
Nice enough boots, just didn’t realize I purchased steel toes. They fit well, but weren’t what I wanted and I ended up taking them to my local F&F. They returned them without issue and I ended up getting Men’s Outline Soft Toe Boots.
They didn’t fit as nice (not as wide at the ball of my foot) and weren’t waterproof, but they were the only ones at a price range that they had in my size. I got some beeswax to seal them up a bit. I got them for stomping about in the snow/wet instead of sneakers I typically wear.
I wore them for 3-4 hours this weekend and walked 4-5 miles in them. They weren’t too bad. Good ankle support, good grip and even after stomping through snow, my feet stayed dry and warm enough. It was only 40F out, so not overly cold and I was moving most of the time.
You can’t go wrong with this handsome moc steel toe 6 inch boot. This will become your shoe of choice on whichever street you may be traveling. And travel far with this comfort wedge, slip resistant outsole that is built to last.
Step into the Monterey ST Wide whether you’re wearing your jeans, khakis or shorts – Looking good never felt so good.
So far so good. Very pleased with this purchase. Husband goes thru work shoes like crazy & hopefully these will last. Beautiful boot, sturdy & came in wide & he was beyond happy about that. We shall see for how long.
These are the most comfortable steel toe work boots I’ve ever owned and they hold up very well didn’t fall apart or anything and they are half the price of higher end boots just bought my 3rd pair I can’t see buying any other work boot I hope they never discontinue this one.

Sleek, comfortable, and lightweight! The 3 best things about this shoe. I’m on my feet 10 hours a day at the airport on the ramp, and this shoe makes me feel comfortable and gives me confidence when working.
If you don’t enjoy wearing boots like me and like having movement when you work, this is the one for you! It makes you feel lighter, it’s steel toe, and it’s not bulky. The only drawback I have for it is that it’s not waterproof.
I’d give it the 5 stars if it was. Otherwise no complaints. It’s build to last, super comfortable. Totally recommend this shoe!.
I had caterpillar steel toe shoes and the reviews said to go a half size up. I should have done it with these shoes. I wear a size 6 and ordered a size 6. The shoe fits great on my right foot. The shoe isn’t tight on my left foot but it’s narrow enough that the metal plates pressed down on my little toe and now my nail is damaged.
Too bad, the shoes are comfortable (at least on my right foot!).
I have ordered these shoes before and bought them out of a store for several years. The only problem I had this time was that I ordered 8. 5 wide width and the left shoe was wide width but the Right shoe was not wide width.
My old shoes was wore out so I just wore them. Really wish I would have sent them back because the right shoe is wearing a blister on my little toe.
The Danner Bull Run Moc Toe 6 Inch Steel Toe Work Boot 15564 is crafted in the USA with domestic and imported components to provide you with the best boot possible. This boot is made from full grain leather with a Moc toe design.
This boot features the strength and durability of Danner s hand crafted, Stitchdown construction. This boot is designed with a steel toe to keep your feet protected from debris or falling objects and safe if working around live electrical circuits.
Danner has designed this boot to be recraftable to extend the life of the boots. This boot is guaranteed to work for you!.
I am ambivalent about these boots because the company has been nothing but nice to me. However the materials used ruin what could be one of the best boots on the market. The leather, while cool in the summer, is too thin for jobsites.
It easily gets punctured and I believe could be a safety risk. The first pair I had while working in Sheetmetal. The boots are definitely not suitable for Sheetmetal, welding, or any trade involving hot and sharp metal.
The first pair I had, the sole began to peel off and crumble at the toe within the first 2 months which appears to be an issue for other reviewers. However I think this was just a defect and not a quality of the boot as my second pair did not suffer similarly.
The staff at Danner was very kind and sent me a new pair which I then used for carpentry, masonry, and now for just wearing around and occasional work because I returned to college. For Masonry and Carpentry I think they are tolerable but still made from weak materials and the stitching around the toe quickly tore and I had to repair it with thread multiple times.
Now the soles are nearly worn through after about a year of wear. I think it is a real shame because the assembly in Portland is clearly done by skilled and passionate people but for $230 it is a disappointing that the company has been selecting cheaper materials and thus squandering the excellent craftsmanship.
I hope that they at least increase the thickness of their leather and stitching and perhaps increase the quality of the soles. Then I would definitely order a new pair. But with the current price and quality I will try a different brand for now.
For those of you planning to purchase, They run narrow so size accordingly. I ordered them wide and they still ran quite narrow resulting in getting a larger size boot which occasionally makes me trip on the long toe.
Also they do not offer much arch support so if you have high arches you will need an insole.
My review is more for The BassPro store and their employees than it is for Danner. We bought a pair of Danner Bull Run boots in October and had to return them in December because they were falling apart.
Bass pro would not replace them we had to call the Danner company directly and spoke to an amazing representative who got our replacement boots taken care. Bass Pro did not want to stand behind their return policy or their products and wouldnt have exchanged the boots if it wouldn’t have been for the Danner customer service representative making them do so.
It is now May and the boots are falling part again and again Bass Pro will not exchange boots that cost over $200 and are coming apart at the seams in less than 90 days since they were purchased. One Bass Pro employee said they wouldnt return them because they looked like they had been worn to work in.
News flash they are WORK BOOTS! So will get Danner involved again to get the boots replaced and I have no doubt they will take care of the situation and stand behind their one year warranty. Danner has always been the go to brand for work boots around our house but after 2 very irritating experience with bass pro employees we will no longer be shopping there for work boots… or anything else.
I am completely shocked at how they handled the situation and expect more from them.
My father was an immigrant shoe repairman and I also learned the craft. He taught me about good leather and good craftsmanship. I am now 80 and retired. The Bull Run Moc is a GREAT shoe; BUT the soling material does not meet the standards of your shoe.
We used Armortred wedge soles and heels to repair work boots and it was a good wearing material. The heels on my Bull Run Moc are worn in half after only 3 weeks. Please use a better material and I would be pleased to pay extra.
Your boots are expertly crafted with good leather and fit; please use a better quality material for your soles and heels to match the quality of your shoes. I’m glad that I discovered Danner’s and my comments are meant to be POSITIVE.
I definitely will continue to buy Danner shoes and I plan to return them to you for recrafting; I,m too old and tired to do it myself. Ken Nahigian 707-980-6319.

I have worked on concrete for 27 years. I have always had Redwing boots however their quality has declined. My feet have been hurting and found out I have Plantar Fasciitis (painful). My doctor recommended Keen boots.
I researched Keen and the Pittsburgh boots had awesome reviews especially from several people who also had Plantar Fasciitis. I can attest these are the most comfortable work boots I’ve ever owned. Right out of the box comfort.
It made an immediate impact on my Plantar Fasciitis (little to no pain) I walk around the shop a lot throughout the day as well as building machines. These boots so far are standing up to long hours and abuse.
Thank you Keen for a comfortable, good looking, well made boot, you are saving my feet. I’ll add you should buy a 1/2 sive up from what you normally wear. Depending on the boot I typically wear anywhere from a 9 1/2 wide to a 10 wide.
I ordered a 10 regular and they fit perfect not too tight not too loose. These boots seem to run wide so I did not need to order a wide. I highly recommend the Keen Pittsburgh boots for walking/working on concrete and those with Plantar Fasciitis.
I bought these boots 6 months ago, have had two jobs that I wear them daily too. The first job was a production plant, high mileage but low impact (5-8 miles a night). The second job is warehouse, low miles but many very heavy boxes have fallen on my feet.
At either job my feet have been comfortable, and not broken. I like that the laces at the ankle form a heel lock to prevent your foot from slipping forward so your toes don’t rub on the end. The arch support is comfortable.
As with all traditional fit keens there is tons of room in the toe box, and because of the way it laces these boots are perfect for summers and winters in a semi-climate controlled warehouse. My only complaint is that the tongue bunches and pushes forward, however this is prevented from different lacing techniques.
(I loop the half square knot twice instead of once, this prevents the laces from slipping loose and holds the tongue in place better). They have only been exposed to minimal water and snow but I haven’t had any leak into the boot.
After trying on a few regular D pairs, I decided I should order a 10 EE. The only thing better would have been 9. 5 EEE. I had some foot pain in my other boots from walking on hard floors all day, and these took that away completely.
I now have a lot of energy all day because of the support and reduced pain, and I love the natural arches in these boots, they truly help so much. They also broke in nicely in just two or three days.
The only drawback would be that my last pair of Keens (Targhee III Wides) wore out after about a year. I did wear them daily and even went on a lot of walks. The side rubber seemed to detach from the shoes, but I could still glue that back together, but the leather part seems to be diminishing.
Sad because I’ve had running shoes (underarmors) I’ve done the same things in and those lasted for three and a half years. I certainly hope these boots will last longer. They are more comfortable for me than the Targhee III Mid Wides, and those were nice (while they lasted).
These safety shoes are light, comfortable, and indestructible. They are impact proof, nail proof, and puncture proof. Featuring a strong steel toe, a kevlar sole, and oil slip resistance. Their rugged construction makes these perfect for things like construction work, carpentry, and manual labor.
They also feature easy pull string laces that are easy to use. They are available in all mens sizes the worlds strongest composite toe work shoes.
These are some fantastic work shoes. I bought them off the shoe truck when I noticed a lot of co-workers wearing them, now retiring them for a new pair after 2 years in the warehouse. Lugging boots in and out of a sit-down and stand-up forklift all day can get tiring and even painful once the company starts requiring that mandatory 20 hours of OT at the end of the week.
These things are so lightweight, that my top of foot pain has gone away. I’d actually gone jogging with them once. They have a decent amount of room in the toe area and never get any crowding. The cut-across design of the bottom of the shoe allows for extreme flexibility, meaning when you’re squatting down to check that pallet label, the rear and sides of the shoe don’t dig into your ankles as much.
Pretty comfortable for an uncomfortable position. These things have kicked pallets, kicked boxes, kicked racks, forklifts, and even a couple of co-workers. I used the toe to drag pallets out on a daily basis, the mesh on top held up pretty well considering how wreckless I am with them.
I tried a couple of pairs of quality boots, and a couple of cheap pairs of steel toes from local department stores. These are much cooler and more comfortable than all of those. I’m a very warm mammal and get sweaty from time to time, switching from boots to these has eliminated that issue.
These are only 6 months old but I am hard on shoes. I have been searching for years for a pair of shoes to help alleviate my plantar fasciitis and these did just that almost immediately! I work as a mechanic that also does paint and bodywork so I have used these shoes daily all day long, I also am renovating my house and shop so these have been crushed, scraped, and submerged in concrete and are still going strong.
but that’s not all. I also ride and race BMX bikes and have recently found myself just wearing these because they are so lightweight and they stick to the pedals just as good as my $140 bike shoes. To say these have gotten a workout would be an understatement.
I’ve stopped spinning pulleys with them, drug them on the ground to stop my control 4-wheeler and I’ve been jumping from an 8′ scaffolding for the past 3 days. The most obvious damage just showed up after I washed them because they had concrete on them, I assume they weren’t made to have the toes covered in concrete.
The only reason I’m reviewing these is that I am buying a new pair now.
Wow. My feet feel great for once. I’ve been a construction Electrician for 34 years so I’ve gone through a lot of boots in that time. After all those years my feet became very sensitive to the bulky, heavy footwear required for my job.
So I found these, “boots”. I tried them out on a commercial job and nobody noticed because there are safety people walking around looking for violations, these look like sneakers. After the first day, my feet felt great.
After a month, the same. Incredible. Usually, I’m actually limping by then. The only thing is I wouldn’t recommend them for muddy, ditch work. I keep my Red Wings in my trunk for that. That’s all they are good for now.
The bottom line is I love these things. I’ve had them 3-4 months now and they are holding up well. Even if I had to replace them a couple of times a year, it would be worth it.
Nautilus has you covered for your work day with this steel toe slip-on work shoe. No exposed metal. Get the protection of a steel toe with the comfort and convenience of a slip-on. This full-grain, water-resistant brown leather Nautilus shoe is ergonomically-designed. Lightweight but strong enough to keep your feet safe, this slip-on is perfect fit for work or home.
My husband right away felt relief when I purchased the first pair of these shoes for him. He has worn them every day at work on concrete floors for the past year. He feet and leg pain has been much relieved since wearing these Shoes.
I remember as a young girl My dad wore Mason shoes and bragged on how wonderful they were. So when my husband had feet and leg pains from Being on his feet all day I went To the website and found these.
He loves them. So I got The 2nd pair early for a Christmas gift. Thank you!.
Bought these for work, I run a restaurant, figured they were “Slip Resistant”, I was wrong. I seem to be slipping and sliding quite a bit. My Sketcher-Nampa Grotons are so much better for non slip shoes.
I will say the Nautilus do seem to be better for my back.
Over the years and trying many different pairs of safety shoes I’ve found these to be the best fit and feel for me. My usual problem is the steel toe rubbing against my big toes, causing pain, blisters and corns.
These shoes don’t do that. They provide plenty of room for my big toes and once I have them broken in I forget I’m wearing safety shoes. They’re so comfortable there have been many times I’ve accidentally worn them home because I forgot to swap them with my street shoes before I left work.
Wolverine-Floorhand Steel Toe Work Boot For a boot that can handle any job, the Wolverine Floorhand comes ready to work. A durable steel toe offers premium protection and moisture-wicking mesh ensures a fresh fit.
These Wolverines are a strong boot and seem to be made very well, and are very sturdy. However I do have some comfort issues when wearing them on a daily basis. I’ve used them for about two weeks, and they certainly feel “more-comfortable” as they continue to break-in.
however, they are not comfortable out-of-the-box, whatsoever. Not on my feet anyways. The main issue for me is that the boots are very loose-fitting for their listed size, even for a work boot (understanding that many boots are somewhat oversized to allow for work-appropriate socks and winter socks).
Adding aftermarket insoles helped tremendously, stacked in-addition to the existing insoles. The secondary concern I have is stiffer sections of the inner material rubbing against the top of my foot in two separate places.
I’m hoping continued usage/break-in alleviates that problem. My father had a pair of these exact boots just about a year ago, and had the same issues as I do – Very stiff at some internal points, and simply not very comfortable to begin.
I can’t recommend avoiding them nor favoring them, as the price is LOW enough that you will likely get the USAGE you need from them as they are sturdy and seem built-to-last, yet price is HIGH enough that I wonder why there isn’t more emphasis on COMFORT.
I bought these to replace some older work boots I had, only wore these for about three weeks before I couldn’t any longer. They’re very durable and have held up to a great amount of abuse in the few weeks they were worn, however they were extremely uncomfortable on my feet.
The start of the steel toe rubs against the side and top of my foot, and they were very loose to fit. Many uncomfortable rubbing points, and something about them made my entire feet sore into my ankles.
These started destroying my feet within the first few hours of use, and although they felt better as they began to break-in, they still never softened enough to convince me to continue daily-use. I’ve been wearing various work boots with steel toe since before I was ten years-old.
I originally bought these because I remembered that my father also had a pair of these exact boots about two years ago, however I did not remember that he was not very impressed with the fit of the boots, at all.
They’ll surely be used again at some point, but I can’t use them on a daily basis or for extended periods of time. I work nearly 12 hour shifts in warehouse and these simply won’t work for that, not for me.
I have purchased these boots twice. I am overall satisfied with the comfort, weight, and features provided by these boots. The only thing that I feel could be improved upon is the quality. This is not to say that they are of poor quality, because like I said, I’ve purchased them twice.
I work twelve our days in an industrial environment and these boots definitely allowed my feet to be not just protected, but remain comfortable throughout the day. I was surprised to find that they had many of the features that are usually only received in boots that are much higher in price.
The reason I stated that the quality could be improved upon is simply for the fact that I have had this last pair for almost a year, to the day, and the waterproof feature, that I thought was their best attribute, has run its course.
The part of the boot where the sole meets the side of the boot, right where the ball of my foot is, has failed and is allowing water to get in. Since it is deep in the boot it also prevents it from drying quickly.
Now, I understand that this is something that can be attributed to normal wear and tear, which is why I have said that the boot is overall the best bang for your buck. If you’re looking for a good boot that you won’t have to worry about breaking in for an extended amount of time, or a boot that is on the less expensive side while still providing the characteristics of a higher end boot, then this is a great boot to pull the trigger on.

A MemoryTech footbed cradles the unique contours of your foot. Featuring an external TPU wrap around heel counter for additional stability and a locked-in fit.
I haven’t worn them yet but I tried them on and they seem to fit perfectly so far. I initially bought way too big and had to exchange. The thought of exchange stresses me out but the process was easy and stress free.
The customer service was great and I received my shoes quickly with both the original purchase and the exchange. Just realize that with unisex the size is mens so compensate for that if you are female as I had to.
These shoes are comfortable. Unfortunately they don’t come in a 6 1/2 size and my heals slip. The lining on the back continuously wear out within a week due to constant slipping. This is not a problem with the shoe, but rather the size.
If the padding on the bottom causes blisters, the seam can be taken out leaving the foot bed smooth.
The jury is still out, as I have only worn these once. I bought a size 12, but they seem a little small. When I hold them up against a different style of size 12 Reeboks I previously bought, they are a definite half inch shorter.
The one time I wore them, my small toes paid the price by the end of the day. Wish I had bought size 12 and a half.

I’m a school custodian on my feet 8 hours a day, walk between 14,000 to 20,000 steps every day. These shoes are comfortable and really like the non slip sole. Realize these are manufactured leather not real cowhide so their are pluses and minuses to that, The shoes are very easy to wipe clean and very durable But the “leather” will not stretch at all so if you have any bone spurs or bunions these she’s may not work for you.
The padding on the tongue is very thin all my other New Balance athletic shoes have much thicker padding. New Balance doesn’t offer any work shoe in narrow sizes. Also after 1 year the sole is starting to separate from the upper.
Other than that the shoes have worn well. I found another manufacture that offers work shoes in narrow sizes and will give them a try. However will continue to go to New Balance for the athletic shoes that they offer in narrow sizes.
I have terrible feet. I am constantly battling plantar fasciitis, and trying new shoes and inserts to help. These shoes are not very supportive for my arch, and caused me more pain during my shift than with my older shoes.
The bottoms are also much more slippery than my previous non slip shoes. I find myself sliding and slipping where I wasn’t before. I wouldn’t recommend these if you are in the food and restaurant industry, and have high arches in your feet.
I’m sure these are great shoes for normal feet. I just wish I could return these, but I’ve already worn them for one shift.
Xena Workwear Gravity Safety Shoe – Women’s Boots : Blackout : Xena Workwear recommends ordering 1/2 size larger for the best fit. This stylish steel-toe bootie redefines the safety footwear category for professional women.
An ASTM Certified, OSHA Compliant safety shoe has never looked this beautiful. The Gravity model features a comfortable and timeless design to help you feel confident anywhere.
My Xenas are absolutely amazing! I got the Gravity shoe, though I think I would opt for a ‘no heel’ style next time. The heel is cute and stylish, but it makes my toes slide forward slightly. Normally, this is not a concern, but with the steel toe it can rub a little on the toes.
I did try going up a size, but that was too big and my whole foot slid around the shoe. I typically wear a size 9 in shoes, though I would say my foot is more of an 8. 75 – which obviously doesn’t exist.
I sized up to a 9. 5 originally, but ended up going with a size 9 as it was more comfortable and easier to work in. If I were a solid 9 normally, the 9 would have been too small so definitely order up a half size.
These shoes are so adorable that I receive compliments on them as a regular shoe. When I am walking through construction sites I love to see all the people dying to ask me why I am not wearing steel toe boots.
The look on their faces when I show them that I am, indeed, wearing a safety shoe is absolutely priceless. These boots are 100% worth it and I have already recommended them to some colleagues. I love my Xena boots!.
I LOVE THESE (I purchased the gravity boot in cognac, size 10)!!! About 10 years ago, I was talking to my sister like “ugh, I need to get steel toes. Why don’t they make cute, comfy boots for me to wear?” and then about 5 years ago, she sends me a link for Xena.
My company wouldn’t pay for them but I did myself. And I was SO happy I did. I ordered my usual size (size 9) and it was too small. The exchange was incredibly easy (and fast). The new size (size 10) fit great! I am a manufacturing engineer and am on the production floor all day (10 -13 hrs).
I walk a LOT. These are so comfortable. I have received SO many compliments on them for their style and color (from my husband, fellow engineers/employees, etc) and even my podiatrist liked them and was floored when he found out they were steel toes (and yes I was wearing them 2 days after having toe surgery).
so you can imagine how comfortable they are. The slight heel dresses them up a bit but they are still casual enough to wear with tshirts. I just started a new job and will be purchasing yet another pair.
You will NOT be disappointed in these. I promise you.
Love the look, the heel, and the vegan option. Overall I like them and looking forward to more vegan styles. The main drawbacks I experienced are mostly comfort related: 1. The top of the arches and the achilles were very painful spots during break in.
The upper portion folds directly into my metatarsals with each flex. It’s not painful anymore though. 2. The ball of the foot needs more cushion on a heeled shoe. 3. Getting them on and off is a struggle.
The zipper needs to be longer and/or angled more to open up more space to slide the foot in and out. Right now I just crush the heel cup every time and then spend a minute pulling it straight again. 4.
These are heeled, heavy, professional styled shoes, they are not orthopedic so after a long day of walking and standing your feet will not feel great. Not a problem, just a trade-off to keep in mind.
Including the type of steel toe shoe, the thickness of the concrete, and the person’s own walking style. However, in general, steel toe shoes provide good protection for walking on concrete, and are much safer than wearing no shoes at all.
