Directions Use on patios, walkways & flower beds. Where to Use: Outdoors: On patios, walkways & driveways; around flowers, shrubs & trees; along knees& foundations; & in large areas. When to Use: For best results, apply during warn, sunny weather (above 60 degrees F). Directions for Use: It is a violation of Federal law to use this product in a manner inconsistent with its labeling. For outdoor residential use only. Stop. Do not allow people or pets to enter the treated area until sprays have dried. Application Restrictions: Do not apply this product in a way that will contact any person or pet, either directly or through drift. Only persons applying this product may be in the area during application. User Safety Recommendations: Clothing and protective equipment exposed to this product should be washed in detergent and hot water. Such items should be kept and washed separately from other laundry. Users should wash hands before eating, drinking, chewing gum, using tobacco or using the toilet. Users should remove clothing immediately if pesticide gets inside. Then wash thoroughly and put on clean clothing. Users should remove clothing and protective equipment immediately after handling this product. As soon as possible, wash thoroughly and change into clean clothing. How to Use: Spectracide Weed & Grass Killer2 is pre-mixed and ready to use and is formulated for spot treatment of weeds and grasses. Use it on driveways and walkways or around fences, trees, flower beds, shrubs and other areas in your yard. Before Use: 1. Shake well before each use. 2. Peel sticker from flip-top cap and open cap. Discard sticker. 3. Remove sprayer from its slot beneath the bottle handle and remove and discard plastic wrap. Pull black hose tip to completely extend tubing. 4. Firmly press black hose tip into opening in cap until it snaps into place. 5. Hold sprayer below the level of the container and prime by pumping trigger several times until product is dispensed. 6. Adjust nozzle to desired setting. After Use: 7. To store, turn sprayer nozzle off. 8. Do not disconnect hose. 9. Return sprayer to its slot. Hose can be pushed back into sprayer handle. How to Apply: Completely wet the leaves of the target vegetation. Do not overspray. Sprayed plants begin yellowing and wilting in about 24 hours, with complete kill, including the roots, in one to two weeks. Protect desirable plants with a piece of plastic or cardboard. If desirable plants are accidentally sprayed, wash plants with water immediately. Do not mow, cut or otherwise disturb treated vegetation, weeds or plants for at least seven days following application. Do not use on or around edible feed or food crops. When to Apply: For best results, apply during warm, sunny weather (above 60 degrees F) when weeds are actively growing and no rain is forecast for 24 hours. Rainfall or watering 15 minutes after application will not wash away effectiveness. To avoid drift to desirable plants, apply when the air is calm. Not recommended for spot weed treatment in established lawns since lawn grasses will also be killed. When to Replant: All ornamental flowers, trees and shrubs may be planted one day after application. Lawn Renovation/Replacement: Determine size of area to be treated – measure length and width in feet, then multiply to determine coverage area in square feet (length x width). Use Spectracide Weed & Grass Killer2 to kill the old lawn and existing weeds and grasses. For best results, apply in spring or fall, when daytime temperatures are at least 60 degrees F. Under dry conditions, water lawn every other day for a week before applying Spectracide Weed & Grass Killer2. Do not mow for seven days before or after treatment. One gallon treats 300 sq ft. Tips for Replanting: Wait seven days after last application to rake, till or replant with seed or sod. Rake up and remove loosened thatch or debris. Mix in starter fertilizer and soil amendments, if needed. Level the soil. Apply seed according to directions on seed package, or install sod. Grass seed must have good contact with soil to germinate and grow. Keep area most for two weeks to establish new lawn, then water as needed. Refill Directions: Refill: Only with Spectracide Weed & Grass Killer Concentrate2. Remove cap. Carefully measure and mix 7 fl oz (14 tbsp) in 1 gal of water. Replace and tightly close cap. Wipe off any spilled product. Storage and Disposal: Pesticide Storage: Turn the nozzle to Off position and store with sprayer above the level of liquid in container to prevent leakage. Pesticide Disposal: If empty: Nonrefillable container. Do not reuse or refill this container. Offer for recycling, if available. If partly filled: Call your local solid waste agency for disposal instructions. Never place unused product down any indoor or outdoor drain. Shake well. Remove sticker. Open flip cap. Extend sprayer hose completely. Firmly insert black hose tip. Stop. Read entire label before use.

Cultural Tips and Notes: Adequate moisture and mild environmental conditions enhance the performance of Roundup For Lawns3. Apply only to actively growing weeds. Apply when daytime temperatures are between 40 and 90 degrees F. Avoid applications of this product when turfgrass is under stress since injury may result. For newly seeded areas: Do not apply within 4 weeks after seedling emergence of Kentucky bluegrass, fine fescue blends and perennial ryegrass. Apply this product to newly seeded grasses when well-established (approximately 6 weeks after seedling emergence) or after the third mowing. For newly sodded, sprigged, or plugged areas: Delay the application of this product to newly sodded, sprigged, or plugged grasses until 3 to 4 weeks after the sodding, sprigging, or plugging operations. Seeding: Turf species listed on this label can be seeded into the treated areas at 4 weeks after the application of this product. Irrigation: Do not apply this product immediately before rainfall or irrigation. For best results, do not irrigate or water the turfgrass within 24 hours after application. If dry conditions exist, a scheduled irrigation or watering 24 hours before and 24 hours after application is recommended. Mowing: Delay mowing 2 days before and until 2 days after the application of this product. Additional stress from low mowing heights may increase the possibility of turf injury. Leave clippings from the first three mowings on the treated area. Do not use clippings from the treated areas as mulch or compost around flowers, ornamentals, trees, or in vegetable gardens. Prohibitions: Do not treat when air temperatures exceed 85 degrees F as damage to grass may occur. Application at rates above specified on this label may cause injury to turfgrass. Do not apply this product to food crops (gardens and vegetables), forage crops, or ornamental plants including flowers, trees, shrubs, hedges, woody ornamentals, groundcovers established in landscape plantings and other nontarget plants. Do not spray exposed roots of ornamentals and trees. Storage and Disposal: Do not contaminate water, food or feed by storage and disposal. Directions Read the entire label before use. It is a violation of Federal law to use this product in a manner inconsistent with its labeling. Entry restriction: Do not allow people or pets to enter the treated area until sprays have dried. 1. Shake container well before using. 2. Connect a garden hose to the ready spray nozzle. Make sure the dial on the nozzle is in teh off position with the safety tab in the valve notch. 3. Turn on water at faucet. Extend hose to the farthest area to be treated and work back toward the faucet so you don’t come in contact with treated area. 4. To begin spraying, point nozzle toward treatment site and a.) bend the safety tab back (located at right of dial) with your thumb, b.) hold while turning dial clockwise until it stops. Water will automatically mix with product. 5. Spray until wet to control listed weeds. Walk at a steady pace while spraying, using an even sweeping motion. 6. To stop spraying, quickly turn the dial counterclockwise until it stops and the safety tab engages into the notch on the valve. Turn water off at faucet. To relieve pressure before removing nozzle from hose, bend the safety tab back and turn dial on until water stops spraying. 7. To store unused product, make sure the dial is in the off position with safety tab in the valve notch. Place in cool area away from heat, sunlight or open flame. Do not use near desirable plants as injury may occur. Do not apply under windy conditions. Do not treat the same area twice. Do not apply when temperatures exceed 90 degrees F as lawn injury may occur. Use only on healthy home lawns that are not under heat or drought stress and are reasonably free of insects, nematodes or diseases. Do not use on muck or alkaline soils. Do not apply in the root zone of trees, ornamentals or vegetables or other desirable plants other than the listed grasses. Do not apply to areas where natural drainage would carry the spray to desirable plants. Do not replant treated areas, except with listed grasses, within 12 months of application or injury may result. Do not oversee treated areas within six months after application. Sprigging listed grasses in treated areas is acceptable; however, some yellowing or stunting may occur. Application restrictions: Do not apply this product in a way that will contact any person or pet, either directly or through drift. Keep people and pets out of the area during application. This 32 fl oz container will treat 3,720 sq ft of listed grasses. Do not apply the entire container to an area less than 3,720 sq ft. Do not apply to the same area more than two times per year. Weeds controlled or partially controlled in established St. Augustinegrass and Centipedegrass lawns: annual bluegrass, chickweed (common and mouseear), crabgrass (partial control), cransbil, cudweed, dichondra, dollarweed, Florida betony, henbit, knotweed, lespedeza, moneywort, mustards, narrowleaf vetch, parsley-piert, pennywort (dollarweed), sandspur, smutgrass, spurge, spurweed, swinecrest, woodsorrel, and various annual clovers. Spurweed: control can best be obtained by applying when spurweed has just emerged (December and January). Florida betony: For best control, applications should be made in mid- to late October followed by a second application in mid- to late February. Dichondra, moneywort: Apply in early April followed by a second application in July. Applications for control of spurweed or Florida betony will generally give control or partial control of the other listed weeds. However, this product will give best control when applied to tender young weeds or just prior to weed emergence. Spectracide Weed Stop for Lawns for St. Augustine & Centipede Lawns Concentrate may be applied during both dormant and growing seasons. Best results are obtained when application takes place in early spring or dormant periods when weeds are small or have not emerged. Do not apply more than twice per year to the same area. This product will control both emerged weeds and weeds from seeds. Rain or watering within two or three days of application may decrease the effectiveness on emerged weeds. However, for the control of emerged weeds from seeds, rainfall or watering is needed within seven to 10 days after treatment. Storage and disposal: Do not contaminate water, food, or feed by storage and disposal. Pesticide Storage: Store in a locked storage area. Container disposal: If empty: Nonrefillable container. Do not reuse or refill this container. Offer for recycling, if available. Pesticide disposal: If partly filled: Call your local solid waste agency for disposal instructions.
