20 Best Sports Bra For Running Large Breasts (2023 Updated)

It’s really too bad. I measure 38″ around my underbust and still I could not get this size 40 to hook. And that is the largest size bra that CW-X makes. Quite frankly I’m not really that big of a woman.

Why can’t these companies expand to sizes for more of us? At 58 years old I can’t be expected to be tiny like in JHS. I’m not obese and I have run half marathons so I am in good enough shape. The discrimination against non-tiny women is discouraging and VW-X has disappointed.

I never heard of this brand before. I found on the site and bought it. I am large and need support for my workouts. This is the best bra if you need heavy support and like to do impact workouts, buy it.

It also has hook adjustments on the shoulders not just the usual adjuster. Amazing bra, my new favorite.

So comfortable: doesnt feel like you are wrapped in armor, but still does the job of minimizing and stablizing. Straps and band give options for effective adjustment. Plus: I think it looks good!

4. 5/5 (rounded up to 5). Long time Brooks Juno bra lover here. I’ve been at a loss since they were discontinued. I was surprised how good the support in this bra is and I think I’ve finally found my replacement! No rubbing/chafing and minimal adjusting on its maiden voyage.

I normally wear a 32DD (5’11, 140 lbs) and I purchased this in a S C-E. The band straps make adjusting this really nice, but really hard to get on and off, hence half a star off.

While being expensive, I still absolutely love this sports bra. It’s super comfortable (I am a 12B). I like the velcro straps which was a bit different but it actually makes it a lot easier to put on and take off.

Will definitely get another one of these when it goes on sale.

This bra runs small!! I really love the pattern/color of this bra. It does boost your confidenc. It is a combination of sweat wicking material and soft material. However, it does not fit the best and runs small.

If you have a larger chest you definitely need to size up and even with sizing up it might not fit you like how you want. If you can get the right size it is a nice sports bra.

The color is why I purchased the bra but the cloud fabric is buttery and soft. I am a huge fan of all the cloud pants and was excited to have a bra to coordinate. The color is vibrant and the bra is made with a solid structure and quality.

I would love to see a bit more fabric in the upper front but I knew when I purchased that it would be a little less. Good support makes this a medium to high support bra. I would definitely recommend it.

The color way of the sun is brilliant shiny and comfortable feeling. The amount of the sport bra is compared to others is the flexibility and support the back and more of uplifting the daily routine.

The gym is doing all around activities from outdoor with the kids of a 3 year old toddler to a baby that is 9 month old. As a mother of 2 the time to get ready for the day make it impossible but the sport bra is the quicker way to get out doing walkabouts.

It’s so hard to find a good sports bra that provides enough support when you’re full figured. Love this bra, especially the adjustable straps. It’s not as thick or bulky as most sports bras, and it’s super comfortable.

I bought this a month ago because I had been hanging on to old bras that had been discontinued. I finally caved and went bra shopping and found this one, which was surprisingly similar to my beloved discontinued bras.

The quality is comparable to what you would expect from a high end workout retailer but the price is much more reasonable. This bra does have to go over your head, so its a little more effort than some other bras that I’ve seen, but I still love it.

It’s comfortable, supportive, and the back is pretty cute, which I feel like us larger chested ladies usually have to choose support over looks. I now own two of these bras and they’ve held up to all my runs.

I will definitely be purchasing more. I am a 34 D and I purchased a M.

The pros: This bra is comfortable and offers moderate support during high impact activities. Cons: It functions the exact opposite of the alleged BODYBREEZE wicking technology that is supposed to “pull moisture away from the skin and boasts a rapid evaporation time so you stay dry, cool and comfortable.

” It pulls moisture away where it sits and soaks, leaving one cold and clammy during cool down, or with two round wet spots. I often change shirts after long intense hikes and can affirm that the wet spots are “transferable” to my new tee.

I literally cannot say enough about how much I love this sports bra. I do a long, very intense workout (3 hours) every morning, and even though I use Bodyglide, I have suffered from sports bra chafing for years.

That may not sound like a terrible hardship, but it was very painful and caused scabbing and scarring. I tried every sports bra and brand on the market (and I really mean every single one) and spent countless hours online scouring the internet for sports bras that do not chaff.

In spite of all of this time and expense, every sports bra I tried caused some amount of chafing. Out of the blue, I received a flier from Soma about the Bliss Breathe Racerback Sports Bra and decided to order a few.

I was not hopeful based on all of the other bras I have tried, but this bra is a miracle! No chaffing at all! Also, extremely comfortable and supportive. I should disclose that I am not very well endowed (only A cup), so I do not know how the support would be if you are more blessed than I am, but for me the support is perfect.

No movement at all but not too tight or constricting. Also, as others have mentioned, the fabric is soft and buttery. I have bought more than fifteen of these bras already and will continue to buy more (my only fear is that they will discontinue or change them and I will be back to dealing with painful chafing).

I bought this for purpose of relaxing in, so although my measurements would fit M I tried it in the store and found XL to be a more relaxing and less tight fit for me. (My usual bra size is 32DD and I have average hourglass figure, if that helps anyone guesstimate if this fits them) I chose a bigger size so it would be gentle on my skin instead of pulling on shoulders & tight like an exercise bra is supposed to when giving you support.

I tried another comfy bra at Soma but I liked this one better for how it sits closer to my neck & doesn’t pull down my shoulders. I love that it has no seams on the inside or out and that it doesn’t look bumpy through most clothes.

It also has features to help with sweating which is a problem for me and I have found that convenient. Honestly my favorite bra right now. I would maybe even recommend this bra to those with sensory issues since it has given a sense of relief for less annoying bumps and seams inside/outside or anything scratchy and any back wire clips and adjusting belts… just a smooth experience for my skin and arms and so so so happy I bought.

If you need a bra that lets you take a brake from those things I just listed i would recommend you size up in size one or two sizes so you can have a comfy bra.

I was hoping this bra would be more supportive and offer more separation. I would only wear this outside if I was wearing a sweatshirt/jacket. While I don’t “jiggle” in this bra, it causes a uniboob effect that is not flattering.

On the other hand, it is soooo comfortable!! I am a 38D and always feel better with some support even if I am just at home doing chores or doing yoga or tai chi. This bra fits that bill. Once the bra is on, you will forget you are wearing it.

I have accidentally slept in it a few times. One suggestion. I find it much easier to put on by stepping into it and easing it up to my chest and slipping my arms through. I take it off by reversing the process.

This method seems to cause less stress and twisting of the fabric. I think if you wore it without the pads, there would be no support at all. To avoid the pads slipping around, I took a few minutes to tack them in place with a few stitches.

All in all, I got this bra on sale and am content with my purchase.

I’ve been looking for a lounge/workout tank for awhile. The popular Lululemon one did not fit larger than B/C cup size, so I was thrilled when this fit my DD cup. A little more cleavage than I would like, but overall I love it!.

One of my favorite cropped tanks/bras. Fits so nicely and is flattering, as well as holds my girls in place. You could select a size up though I prefer mine to fit more snug.

Love this crop. It is supportive and matches the leggings perfectly. Super soft and looks really cute at the gym.

In theory, this bra is amazing. I read a bunch of other reviews before purchasing. I’m glad I sized up as recommended but I’m not going to be purchasing another one unless this is redesigned. I love having a place for my phone but it’s too awkward to access mid run.

This is also incredibly difficult to remove afterwards when drenched in sweat. Here are the pros: comfortable bra for running/working out and a great pocket for stashing things. Cons: outer layer rolls up, pocket is hard to access, ran small.

Every other LLL bra I own is a size 4 and I’ve been wearing LLL bras for almost 15 yrs. I ordered a 6 in this one which writ well. I’m afraid the 4 would have been far too tight for the pocket to be accessible at all.

I am a 34C and was weary to purchase this as it is an A/B cup. I got my regular size 8, and it fit absolutely perfect. It is SO soft, cute, and comfy. The cups may be ever so slightly too short but it isn’t too bad – my chest is not falling out.

The length underneath the cups is perfect as I can wear it as a shirt at the gym. I have a hard time with sports bras as I find the cross back/halter strap styles hurt my neck, however this style is perfect.

This is my favourite sports bra purchase from lululemon, I also purchased the “like a cloud” along with the align bra, and the align is superior! I have previously purchased the flow y long-line and the energy bra, both of which were way too hard of fabric with very little give and too much compression for my liking.

I own 3 of these bras. It is the perfect bra for days you’re trying to keep it minimal on your run (no belt, no arm straps. ) The pocket is large enough to fit my iPhone 12 and a key without it being noticeable while I run.

I could definitely fit a debit card and lip balm in there too, if I needed it. I don’t find the fit to be super compressive (LLL recommends for medium-impact activity), but for my smaller chest, it is definitely enough support for running.

The 2nd layer hits at a flattering spot and is the perfect length to wear with high waist shorts or leggings. I have worn this bra during a 78 degree, high humidity run and it wicked away all the sweat with ease.

For sizing reference, I am 118 lbs, 5’3″, 32B and have broader shoulders. I bought a size 6 and it fits comfortably, flatteringly with the perfect amount of support.

The Chisel Light leggings and sports bra are my absolute favorite from LNDR. The fit and design is simply perfect. They are super comfortable and make you look and feel your absolute best! The contrast stripe design brings attention to the waistline and makes you look absolutely BOMB! I love the fact that the sports bra looks more like a top than a bra due to its higher coverage.

I feel no need to wear an additional shirt over it when working out. This set is high compression so it fits very snug. For reference, I am 65C and the S/M fits me perfectly. I love these so much I have the set in 3 different colorways and wouldn’t hesitate to buy more if they add new colors that I like.

I loved the Olive Marl and Dark Green Marl. The light stripes are perfect on those. I don’t like the colorways with neon stripes though unfortunately. I hope they add more colorways with white/beige stripes in the future.

This is a very good bra overall. I like the higher neck as it gives a greater sense of hold and security. The fabric is of such high quality and very soft for a compressive material. My biggest comment regarding sizing.

I think I’m slightly in between sizes. I’m a 10E and found the S-M to be tighter/more secure across the bust, but a tiny bit small/cutting in front of the shoulders/armpits. It was also a little struggle to get on but I agree with other comments about this fabric – once on it does not move! I now have the M-L and it is suuuuuper comfortable but, I can’t wear it for high impact sports or running/jumping as there is just a bit too much bounce in front.

Saying this though, I would still highly recommend trying this CRAZY comfortable bra. I wouldn’t buy another brand – LNDR is the best material and highest quality I’ve come across.

Without doubt the best sports bra I’ve ever owned. So good I have about 5. Really supportive, long enough not to give a s**t about training in it without a top when you’re grinding it out in a gnarly session.

Also looks good – others at the gym are now converts. Use it for weight training, functional fitness, cans cardio sessions. Did go down a size on one order…still as good but have had a couple of incidents of ‘getting stuck’ when I’ve taken it off…but not a deal breaker! Have a couple of LNDR sports bras which I use for gymnastics stuff…like them…but this does it all.

Maybe do a few more colour options with a brighter colour way!?!?.

All I have to say is. this might be the most comfortable sports bra I’ve ever owned – and I am someone who owns a ton of activewear from different brands and does high intensity workouts/weightlifting on a daily basis.

This bra is not only supportive, adorable, and comfortable, but the strappy back is to die for. I’m not sure it would be good for girls with a larger chest for workout purposes, but I am a 34C and it fits like a glove.

I need this in every color. BUY IT. Even if you wear it for everyday use instead of workout clothing. it checks all the boxes.

I have gotten so many compliments for the matching sets I own. I usually wear mediums for my clothing but j sized up for the bra and matching pants for the best fit.

I bought the black one in stores yesterday & I’m so in love with it! EXCEPT for the fact but it is so small. Normally when I order sports bras medium fits me perfectly fine. I noticed that it was pretty tight when I tried it on but it was literally five minutes until closing so I just got it.

It still fits just really tight so I would size up one! I still love it!.

i am a 36 B/C, 5 ft and weigh 145, the large was perfect. i love how its tight because its a sports bra so ya know support for the girls but oh my god as a tank it makes my girls look perky and good.

i got the white and the padding was good but fell out during wash and to my surprise it STILL wasnt see through without them! love buying more.
