This is very tasty and convenient, especially for those not cooking for a family or who have to eat on the fly. Not quite as good as homemade or what you get in a restaurant, obviously, but this is pretty much as close as you’ll get in a ready-made, pantry-stable soup.

I have been a fan of Frontier Soups for 3 years now. When it became difficult to find at the nearby health food store I went on line. There are no negatives. Prep time is short and nutritious. I am able to use low sodium broth, and organic chicken.

Proper Good really DELIVERS !!! All the soups (including chicken broth) and oatmeal ALL had the right texture and consistency – not too light, not too creamy and thick, and not sodium loaded. The meatball soups were the most hearty, filling and tastiest of all the soups.

I’m really happy with this soup. It’s delicious and flavorful. I plan on ordering more. It was especially helpful to have the 1st week post-op when I was on clear liquids only. It provided protein to my daily nutrition, and a little something warm in my tummy.

I actually mixed it with 6 oz water, and then added 8oz of organic vegetable broth. That made a nice little bit of broth that provided me with 3 meals. (Keeping in mind the 1st week I was only having about 4 oz of liquid at one time).

I don’t buy soup in a carton so this is something different for me, completely unsure if I will like it but here goes. I’m trying Pacific Foods Organic Creamy Tomato soup in a 32 ounce carton. Says it is equivalent to 4 serving sizes and 110 calories per serving.

Reading the package it says shake well heat and serve, so no adding milk or water that’s a plus from the condensed canned tomato soup I usually buy. Very simple so I shake it and pour into a microwave safe cup an d proceed to heat for just a cup to try it out.

Looking at the ingredients there is cheese flavor in this tomato soup – from real cheese and it’s gluten free.

This is a decent soup mix. Make sure you get a good brand of tomato to add. I used honey instead of brown sugar, and I did add some ginger to it as well to give it a little kick, and that really made a difference.

I cooked this for soup at lunchtime. After cooking it for my partner who loves soup I tasted it. It tasted only of salt. On checking the ingredients I found it had a whopping 12. 6 grams of salt in the 50g packet!! This is a ridiculous amount of salt for one person or even two! Government suggests no more than 6grams per person per day.

The sugar content is also very high at 10 grams! Needless to say I won’t be buying this again.

This was much better than I thought but would be! Admittedly, I added more than the directions on package, but it was a great start. I added a can of pinto beans, corn, Rotel tomatoes instead of the tomato sauce, and a block of cream cheese.

I also added a little taco seasoning mix at the end since I had increased the volume of soup. My vegetables all cooked very well – everything was soft and blended and my husband ate two bowls, commenting on how good it was.

Great flavor, but it stayed dry even after cooking a long time. Like it never absorbed the water and rehydrated. So, weird, yucky texture. I even put it in the blender and it was still like eating a dried mix in some water.

I bought a couple of these off the clearance rack. Maybe that’s why, but they weren’t past expiration date. At any rate, I don’t recommend it and won’t be buying any more from this brand.

I do like this, and I have stocked up on it when it was on offer because when the prices go up (as they are already doing) I will not be able to afford it. I have already found alternatives for other Heinz product that I am happy with; soup will follow! One thing that has always disappointed me about Heinz products is that they never invested in the equipment that allows cans to be stackable.

I really like this soup which is a good thing it’s the only vegan option in the Big Soup’s. I can taste giant chunks of perfectly cooked vegetables in a smooth thick soup. I find it has enough salk but sometimes I add a dash of pepper, I enjoy cleaning the bowl with bread and (non-dairy) butter.

I buy every shop and encourage meat-eaters to give it a try! It’s about time soup manufactures re-did their recipes and removed the milk powder in some ie tomato, leek & potato etc.

I generally buy Asda’s own soups but grabbed some Heinz ones while they were on offer and I was shocked at how awful they are. First of all the texture is horribly gloopy and nothing like actual soup, then there’s the complete lack of lamb pieces and finally it all tastes of nothing except sugar.

I love Bear Creek soups. They are PREMIUM. This chedder potato is not my favorite. I still buy it. Its good soup. Thick, loaded with potatoes and generous with the cheese! Tastey soup. Better than canned soup.

I’ve found the best way to cook this soup is in the pressure cooker. I add the mix with 10 cups water and 4 bouillon cubes (cause I like the extra broth), and cook for 8 minutes. After letting the pressure naturally release for about 5 minutes I manually release and it’s ready to go.

Perfect for a quick dinner.
