I really like this panel, it has good output, the price was reasonable, but you need to be careful. In no way anybody’s fault but my own but the SECOND one OI bought is a different unit Different size, shape and amperage.

12 volt stand alone systems are VERY twitchy about this so I am not sure I will be able to use the two together in line. since it’s only two I can probably jury-rig them together at a junction so that the controller see them as one, but haven’t done yet.

Just be sure to get as many as you need at a clip or if like most of us fiance is a question, be SURE they are the same size (dimensions) etc.

I tested and got more watts than the rated amount. Price is less than a 1 dollar a watt seems to be the standard. For me the size was the best part of these I have some areas that the bigger panels don’t fit so these let you work in smaller areas working around pipes coming through the roof and then two hooked up in parallel so it works just like my other 160 watt panels to keep the system uniform.

I bought this one because of having points at Bestbuy. The panel is well made but the charging cable only works for Jackery batteries. If you had batteries from other manufacturers then more likely you need different conversion cables to make it work.

There are better products with same or lower price point nowadays.

While it functioned it did a good job. It is not durable. We paid 200$. We took good care of it. It simply quit working after 3. 5 months. So it should have lasted longer than that. It waaworth the money and I would not buy another one.

We didn’t get any response from Jackery.

The solar panel worked straight out of the box and charged the battery quickly and easily. Very happy with this as it will provide solar power for laptop, lights etc in my shed.

I have been using this panel on my roof for a few weeks now. I bring it in at night, or before it rains, and put it out when its daylight or sunny. My positioning is far from optimal, but I still have observed a peak of 67w with direct sunlight laying flat on my roof, and even 9-18w during overcast moments.

I use this with a solar generator battery, and been going green using only solar power to charge all of my USB gizmos phone, lithium charger, vacuum, air blower, etc. It is possible that the 67w is a limit of my solar battery pack, as it is only a 300w battery pack.

AFAIK a device will only draw as much current as it desires/needs. Even so, I am quite satisfied with this panel, it works well, and is easy to deploy and put away. I love the magnets that help keep the panel folded when not in use.

Overall this is a nice solar panel, and while it is my first, I did some cost comparison, and this is a really good deal for a portable panel, even if 67w was its max again it may be my battery or positioning.

I definitely recommend this if you are just starting going green, or for camping and extended trips.

Theres nothing particularly wrong with Fanttiks 100W/18V solar panel except that its double the price of competitors and is marketed towards buying one of their power stations. 3 stars. As a solar panel, this is fine.

Its got an Anderson port output that leads into a separate 4x output cable M16/7909/5525/5521 fairly basic, but if you need a different DC adapter you can certainly just find one that plugs in to the Andersons.

Besides that theres very little included besides a pitch that you should buy two of these for a 1000W power station which is probably correct if you want to charge it at any reasonable speed. Its reasonably light weight and does have a couple useful straps.

This does seem to provide the reported 18 volts out I measured 19 on the multimeter. But all that comes at about 3/watt, which is double the price of comparable portable solar panels, so 3 stars here.

This is our 3rd solar setup on various campers we’ve owned. First Renogy kit I’ve used. Build quality is good, install to easy, kit comes with pretty much everything you need. BlueTooth is kinda cool.

Our kit is pulling 8-10 amps consistently, which I am pleased with, considering we live in the dark grey pacific north west winter.

This is a basic system for minimal usage and for keeping batteries charged in your RV. No need to plug in the trickle charger every month. The included controller monitors charge output and keeps the system from overcharging.

Be advised that this system will not support appliances such as refrigerator, coffee maker or microwave. For that you will need a larger system. Note you still have to run your generator, if included in your coach, to keep our currently provided cheap fuel from gumming up the carburetor.

I use the panel to help charge my EcoFlow power bank. It was easy to connect into my existing power configuration. This solar panel is rugged and well constructed. The connectors are robust and firmly attached, and easily connect into a serial setup.

I am using it to supply some of my power needs at home, and will also be using it when I go boondock camping. Very pleased with this panel. With the December Sun low in the sky, I am drawing 88 watts per hour from it.

Coupled with others, this panel recharges my 1256 watt power bank in a few hours. I will be buying three more.

This 100 watt panel produces five more watts than my 100 watt renogy panel same size panel and it cost less. That’s awesome! I just have one suggestion to whom ever packs the panels for shipping, please put something in front of the pane to protect the panel, bubble wrap or some kind of foam.

There is nothing to protect the front when shipping there’s only some cardboard corner guards that’s it and that’s not enough. Awesome product though:).

Quality Solar Panels at a decent price. Craftsmanship seem well above other panels I’ve purchased. No imperfections noted. Mid Day Sun here in Southern New Mexico Produced the rated Voltages and Currents no problems.

I purchased this panel specifically to run a 60W diaphragm water pump. The panel is rated at 100W (in full sun), and the pump is rated at 60W max. I am using the pump to move water 400 feet, with a 40-foot rise, to water my livestock and provide some irrigation to my garden.

This panel does the job, but barely. The panel puts out enough current to run the pump only when in full sun, facing directly into the sun. With any shading or slight cloud cover, it does not output sufficient current to keep the pump running.

The pump is designed for solar and RV use. I do like the convenient size–this panel is less than half the size of my regular panels. But, they are 30V 250W panels. I do NOT like the SAE connectors that HFT solar panels all use instead of the industry-standard MC4 connectors.

They do offer reverse polarity protection and added safety in their design, but so do MC4 connectors. The original HFT panels I purchased twenty years ago used ring terminals, which were more convenient for connecting to a charge controller.

Virtually nobody sells connectors that will plug into these panels. I cut the plug off another HFT panel to connect my pump to this panel! Overall, a fair value. This is perhaps the best solar panel Harbor Freight has ever sold.

It is also very useful for charging a car battery, with it’s 3+ amp output. If I had the money, I would buy several more of them.

These are pretty good panels, finally. Glad to see they are getting away from the the plastic frame temporary stuff and offering something with a more serious build quality to it. I’ve purchased seven (7) of these and really like them.

Their portability is excellent. I get a maximum of 96W out of each panel. I tried them in parallel but the numbers don’t combine to get full power. They actually increase in a decaying order. So I connect them in series (4 on a string) and get great numbers that way.

But had to use some 10 awg wire for combining them and extending to my charge controller. The SAE connectors are ok, but they need to be replaced with the water proof MC4 type. I haven’t done this upgrade yet but it’s pretty easy with the right tools.

The mounting hole on the backs of these work well with the Z-bracket kits you can get from Amazon. Oh, and it looks like they sell really well. Usually have trouble finding them in stock. And the price just went up from $109 to $119.

So there’s that.

Haven’t had enough time to evaluate the performance of the panels. Installation was easy as far as connecting to the panels. Quality seems to be good.🤞

I’ve never fitted a solar panel before so the lack of fixings or instruction set me back 10 minutes. Once I’d worked out I could use mirror fixings it was full steam ahead. Unit installed and connected to a battery, all working and charging fine.

Looks good and works well. My shed now has light and power.

The systems, I bough one for my old pickup truck and another for my old AWD 7 Mcormmick International tractor, both keep the batteries in good order. These machines sit for extended periods so these units extend battery life.

They are easy to hook up and seem reasonable robust.

Nice solar panel for 25w. You must get the solar controller to power up your battery. I’ve used a deep cycle battery for this application as it will power my off grid green house. Packaging could have been better as it came out of a flat box with no protection since it’s a glass front on it.

I love the lightweight design and integrated kickstands of this product. The panels are slightly flexible and collapse down to a nice size for packing my car. Don’t expect too much in terms of power – in full sun at 4000′ I averaged 65W.

Once I saw a spike to 71W. (Hooked up to 1500X) It does underperform under cloud cover, which makes sense except that Goal Zero literature SAYS to keep your panels up under clouds. Some light clouds cut the power down to 30W, and anything over 60% cloud cover just goes to 0W.

Item loses a star for the lock in created by Goal Zero – the included cable is way to short to be practical, you WILL need to buy the extension, etc etc. Overall, if you’re in on Goal Zero this is a good option.

The 2 packages arrived and the battery unit needed charging. Opened the panel inside my south facing window. The blue light on the panel lit up but nothing happened when I plugged it into the unit. So I found the wall plug and used that and it charged the unit.

Then I called support to ask about the solar panel and was told the light on the panel was not important and it needed to be placed in direct sunlight. However since it was fully charged I put it away 9 months until needed.

It needed charging, so I connected the solar panel and put it in direct sunlight. Once again it did not charge the unit. And the unit would not hold any charge over 60%, (When plugged into the wait) and self discharges.

Support offered me a Yeti 3000 at a deal price. I like the practice specs but they need to work out the kinks in quality control. Also the unit box says ‘Lithium’ but from the weight it seems to contain regular lead acid batteries.

Good design and build. Easy to connect, use, employ, etc. Charging performance is very sensitive to strength and direction of sunlight; it’s difficult to understand how sensitive until you use it in the field.

Plan on coordinating where you camp and park around access to open sky (which might change from thinking about parking and camping in terms of shade/temperature for comfort in the summer months).

The Ecoflow power stations can be charged one of three ways: 120V AC, 12V DC, or via solar panels. I purchased these solar panels, so I have an additional source of charging for the power stations I own.

I bought two 160W panels and used y-type connectors to hook the outputs of both to my Ecoflow station. It all worked well I’m glad to say. The Ecoflow station charged while also suppling power to an oscillating fan I hooked to the output for test purposes.

Keep in mind that 160W is the maximum output under perfect conditions. Many factors will affect the output you get, such as angle of the panels to the sun, the temperature of the panels, any dust on the panels, cloud cover, etc.

I quickly setup the panels on my deck not concerning myself with ideal conditions – I just wanted to check that they worked. I got about 85W from each panel under my setup conditions. This is why I bought two, since I knew I would not get the maximum output.

I want to make fixtures to set the panels on instead of using the cases the panels came with. This method is shown in the pictures on the Amazon page and is fine for camping. This will allow me to lay them flat on the fixtures.

The fixtures will have knobs to adjust the inclination. I’ll be ready for the next power outage.

I bought this because my renogy eclipse 100 suitcase panel charges my jackary 1000 too slowly. The ecoflow panel maxes out the 130w input the jackary accepts, which is great. The bad is that it only does that when I lay it against my renogy panel, so that it’s angled uniformly.

If I use the despicably awful “stand” ecoflow provides, the output is much lower. Also, the panel has a tectured surface that makes wiping off dust almost impossible. The panel is heavy, yet feels fragile, like I could easily bend and break a corner if I don’t hold it securely.

Still, the panel is cheaper (on sale) than better constructed folding panels, so I won’t return it. Don’t buy this at full price! There are lighter, sturdier, better constructed folding panels available.

Better yet, glass panels are even cheaper and more efficient, especially in the long run. My use for the ecoflow is canoe glamping.

As an engineer, I was interested to see the solar panels connect and operate. Their “form, fit, and function” are perfect. Connections were easy and the panels worked perfectly. They are robust in the frames and I particularly liked the folding leg design which allows the panel to accommodate any angle I wanted for optimal sunlight capture.

All in all, I most definitely recommend Lion Energy’s solar panels.

These solar panels are by far the best Portable panels that I have seen.. I have 5 different brands of panels and power stations and I love the lion energy the best out of all.

Have not had a chance to use it yet but looked over and I am impressed with the quality of the solar panel. Looking forward to putting to a work out .

The solar panel arrived safely with no damage during shipment. It is light and strong. I will add it to my two previously purchased panels that are about 2 years old. I tested it when it arrived and it is exactly to spec.

I am very pleased with this 100 watt panel and will continue to purchase them as needed.

I looked a long time for a good 100 watt panel that would fit in the very limited space I had on my travel trailer roof. These panels were exactly what I needed. Well made, sturdy, and seem to produce well.

I had to special make mounts that would lift them out of the Air Conditioner shadow. Always try to use the holes provided when mounting any solar panel. If you must drill others always use wood to back up the hole so you don’t hit or even touch the glass or solar backing with the drill bit.

I have a total of 14 of these panels on my shop roof feeding a MPPT controller charging a 48 volt battery bank and with this setup supplies more than enough power (As along as the sun is shining) to keep the batteries topped off for an emergency and running a window AC unit along with my bench test equipment through the daytime.

These solar panels appear to be well built and they are getting the job done!.

As only just installed I cannot comment on performance in the long term. However it seems to generate a lot of energy. at input to regulator it was putting out 21v and the day was not very sunny. even in the low light of an evening it continues to put volts into batteries.

The supplier is available to answer any technical queries and I have phoned a few times. This support makes it a worthwhile transaction and I am pleased with the result.

Hook up the panel was a good task from some one never done it before, but once it was up, the unit charging all my batteries to the rim! I love it, highly recommend it! Great affordable product, excellent for my main electricity less garage.

I was considered buying the Bosch panel, which is also 150w but over 200. I’m glad I didn’t now, I think you’re just paying for the name. Upon testing this panel on an overcast day it produced a 2 to 3 amp charge rate depending on how thick the clouds were and over 8 amps in the sunshine.

Good thick aluminum frame. Very pleased.

Bought one as a kit originally with a voltage regulator to set up my first home solar generator. Dead easy to fit. I have since purchased 3 of these panels to charge my phones and laptop for home working.

The service from Photonic Universe was also very good when I had to alter a mistake in an order especially considering the difficult times we are in. Very pleased so far.

Looks rather crude, as if made in a shed at home, but does the job well. Easy to set up. Controller only works upon connection to battery then auto detects.

Great unit not easy to mount without drilling frame or making holding brackets, some clips would be good. but still a nice unit thanks.
