I have only had the lights installed for a few days but have been very pleased so far. I mounted all six around the perimeter of my sundeck, about 7 feet apart, on the insides of the handrails halfway in between posts.

They are out in the sunlight all day and turn on at dusk, all at about the same time. As for installation, I used the dimension provided on the casing for easy screw locations. screwed the screws into the wood rails almost all the way, and then slid the lights down and over the screw heads.

Very easy. At night they look classy. Very satisfied.

I was surprised with how small in size these were. We installed them without any issues on the side of our garage. On the back of the unit there are two holes spots that you slide over the screws to hold in place.

With all six lined up along the garage it gives us plenty of light to see when outside to walk along that side of yard. Helps when we are out snow blowing. If they are fully charged up they last a long time.

I’m not really sure if they stay on all night long as I am sleeping and the sky is lite up when I wake up.

I love that these wall mounted deck lights have both down lighting and ambient lighting with the white “windows”. It is an added bonus to an already adorable lighting solution. I failed to read the instructions to note that I can pull the solar housing from the body of the light to better access the battery.

Whoops. But it doesn’t matter now as I am in love with these little lights!.

Oddly bulged along the post where the parts join. “Glass” around the light is plastic so it will weather and degrade over a few years. The entire assembly is plastic. For over $200 we should have gotten metal for the post and actual glass for the lamp.

Received this solar light about 3 weeks ago and absolutely love it. My pole light in front of my house needed new wiring, so instead of getting it rewired I ordered this solar light. This light is really bright and works perfect, it goes on at night and stays on till morning.

I have the light on the winter selection and it says it is dimmer on this setting, so I can’t wait to see the summer setting it will really light up the yard. I would definitely recommend this light to anyone its as bright as my neighbors electric pole light.

I love the fact that I can put a lamp next to my driveway without hiring an electrician and running electric under ground. The screw in auger feature made it easy. However, the pole on this model is cheep.

I made an incorrect assumption that this would be an aluminum pole. Instead it is a series of short (18″) plastic segments which screw together. It will definitely wobble quite a bit if bumped, or on a windy day.

This is my 3rd set of lights I have a vinyl fence. I placed a light on each post. The first two sets are almost 2 years old. The lights adds a simple and affordable decor to my yard without costing lots of money.

I have only had to replace the batteries once in the older two sets. Yes, the batteries lost their charge but that was my error. I honestly didn’t realize the batteries needed to be recharged. I have since purchased a battery charging kit.

The vinyl on the first two sets of lights have obviously turned colors due to being exposed yo the air. But it’s nothing that makes the lights look unpleasant. Like any other light, the lights does attract bugs but since the lights are in my yard, it doesn’t bother me.

I live on almost an acre of land. The third set of lights came with a base to mount to a flat surface. So even if the light stents being used to a posts, with the added removable base, you can mount the lights to something flat.

I would highly recommend these lights.

I’m glad I did my research after making the mistake of buying 8 of these from Home Depot but their packaging was milseading. Theirs fit on wooden posts that are under 3 ‘. These fit on post rails that have the 4 inch white sleeve very nicely.

Look really great on deck rails. For the same white ones that would fit over 4 inch sleeves at HD, cost $22 a peice. These total just over $12 a peice. Buy these from Walmart you won’t be dissapointed.

We received the package and followed instructions charging in full sun for the 1st 2 days. On day 3 all lights came on around 4:53pm. The 2 we on the front steps, 1 went out at 6:01pm & the 2nd went out at 9:30pm.

The 2 used on the back deck, 1 out at 6:04pm, the 2nd at 6:10pm. All according to directions would burn 8 to 10 hours. We decided to turn off the switch again and recharge. Did so on a Mon, turned back on on Thur again only about 2-hrs for the majority.

Called the company and the young lady said she would talk to the battery department. Following up with her after the weekend, they scheduled new batteries according to tracking should be here by the weekend.

The batteries will be the same Mah. We have to wait and see after recharging what happens.

This is a good value light. Being made of resin makes it more solid than the metal one I replaced. The reflection light is nice and bright. It has a winter or summer setting, winter having low light for it to last longer over night.

I have it on winter setting and will probably leave it on winter over summer because the low light is brighter than the bright light of the replaced one. The only bad thing is on a rainy or overcast day It will get very little to no charge and you wouldn’t get much light into the evening.

Overall this is a good light and I’m satisfied with it.

Easy to install. Works well when the sun shines to charge the battery. The light is dimmer at night than I would like. Otherwise a good product.

Easy to set up and install. Need to be very careful that lines perfectly line up with base before installing mounting screws as easy to crack. Expected light to give off more light. Did not check relative wattage of output.

But seems to be less than 30 watt as it is half as bright as nearby 60 watt equivalent LED light. Also only stays on for about 6 hours.

I bought several of these for the back fence on my property, and I liked them so much, I bought several more. The rear corner of my property does not permit a great deal of sunlight during the day, but enough for these to burn through most of the night.

They are small. produce enough luight so that if you use them as a group, they will illuminate a dark area with no need to run electrical power, just attach them to a fence or whatever you seek to illuminate.

For the price and the results, these are excellent purchases.

Bright LED illumination. A full day’s sun provides 7+hrs of light. Lights have a brown plastic housing. Doesn’t match our exterior paint scheme so may try to recolor them. Plastic mounting bracket & attachment pegs on back of housing is not heavy duty.

Be careful mounting in high traffic areas where they may be inadvertently contacted by shoulders or hips when passing by.

These lights are very decorative and work nicely! Just what I was looking for.

Nice fit on American nominal 4×4 posts. Clear lens allow bright light. I find the light too bright for looking at. Create a translucent lens from a milk jug for the side facing your house. Overall nice value and utility.

I found this solar post capper light very well made and gives a very pretty appearance both day and night. I actually am using this one as a top for a lighthouse and find it perfect.

This solar lamp is very good, every day the sun goes down to daybreak to keep electricity, economical and practical, the next time will be traded.

So far, so good. Fit our 4×4 posts with pvc sleeve perfectly with the adapter. all of the installed caps work fine. I would give 4 1/2 stars if allowed. The half star off is that these are not super bright.

They do not actually light up the deck in any way. They are a nice decorative effect, but do not count on them to light anything up. For our purposes, though, they are fine. What I want to see over time is whether the copper look stays consistent.

I bought these to replace white caps, which match the deck posts better but always yellow over time (and stop working. So, time will tell if this rating stays a 4 1/2 or not. Hope to update over time.

I was leary about buying these at first because the price is a fraction of what’s out there. I don’t regret it at all! All 12 units worked right out of the box and even worked the first night with rain the whole day of installation.

I was impressed. I screwed mine on my vinyl posts instead of gluing them on. I did this just in case something happens with the fence or the post in the future. I didn’t want to be left looking for a single light unit without the ability to remove it from the post.

The lights are fine, good quality. My issue is that I purchased these just ONE month ago – July 7th – and they were half the cost they are now for the exact same item. How can that be? How can Walmart allow this kind of ridiculous price increase? I wanted to order another set to complete my posts – but I’m not paying $220 today, when a month ago I paid $120 – be aware shoppers.

Lights are great, really nice output in both temps (cool white, soft white). GREAT customer support!. Only issue, and it’s mine, not theirs, is I should have checked size. Look a little small the the (large) columns I built.

Awesome product. Battery lasted more than 5y. I have two of these and just recently bought new battery on amazon for like $14. And back in business. The only objective is paint finish started pilling off after couple years but i repainted and put polyutherane coat and looks like new!.

I bought two of these and have installed them on two stone columns one quarter mile from my house, yes I do live in the country. Solar was the way to go for lighted columns as running wire that far is not cost effective.

These lights are high quality, even better than advertised! They started on night one and have worked well for a month now! I would recommend these to friends and family, as well as any one looking for a high quality solar powered light at a very reasonable cost.

I received product reimbursement in exchange for my honest review. I love solar lights because they are maintenance free. These are a good option for a wall beside my patio. It gets great daytime light and these lights make the patio and landscaping look great.

I purchased these about six months ago. Gave them a three-star review when i purchased, because the specifications say they are 5 volt. They are not 5 volt. they are 1. 2 volt (one battery). But i must say they work great with just the 1.

2 volt battery. They are very bright and built well. By far the best product i have seen. So they deserve this five-star rating.

I LOVE these! They are a nice quality. Brighter than most. But not too bright. The rechargeable battery is charged by the sun. So far they have been working perfectly. Thee were a few cloudy days and they were still charged for the night.

They are Beautiful. I placed a second order and I am thinking about a 3rd order. lol. I purchased 2 different brands before this set and the quality was far inferior to these pathway lights. Again, I LOVE them.

I bought 12 of these lights for my new trex deck. I first ordered 2 to see how they looked and worked in my situation. They are very well made, and although they are a little pricey, you usually get what you paid for.

These are very high quality and look like they will last a long time. I have a large LED light that shines down on my 650 sq ft deck and was concerned the Solar lights would not come on at night. Customer service recommended I buy 2 and try them first before ordering the 12.

That is what I did. Every night for a week I moved the 2 lights to different areas on the deck. They come on perfectly and I am very pleased. Now just waiting for warm weather to install the other ten.

When searching for products to assemble a new mailbox and post for my mother, she and I both wanted to put up something that would stand out and not look like every other bland mailbox you pass by. For some reason, she was very displeased by the thought of having to put numbers on the box.

She felt like it was defacing the box already and taking away from its appeal. I expressed to her the importance of people being able to find their address, especially if emergency services were called and had no idea where they were located.

5″x3. 5″) and the mailbox post we had chosen was a recycled plastic/vinyl post which was not a standard size (4. 25″x4. 25″). I also wanted to find a light that I felt would be durable and last for many years without much need for attention.

My searching led me to the Trex post lights from Ultra Bright Tech. They were a bit pricier than others I had seen, but they were the closest fit to our post and the reviews were very positive. I was looking for a quality light after all, so the extra cost was also to be expected.

So I finally purchased the light from Ultra Bright Tech. WORTH EVERY PENNY SPENT! We love the light and it adds such a special touch to an often overlooked part of the home that just sits, mostly forgotten, at the end of people’s driveways.

The lights are BRIGHT, which I was also trying to achieve as much as possible with a solar light since running a low-voltage line to the mailbox location would have taken a great deal of extra work. We have kept the light on at brightness level 5 (out of 7 steps) and so far, even though it was installed at the start of summer with longer days, the light has lasted the entire night, every night, even following mostly overcast and rainy days.

Compared to other lights we have outside that operate with a photocell, this light activates much later than the others, so you can tell they have put a lot of thought into the design in order to maximize the time the light is on at night by having the light turn on just a bit before it gets too dark to see.

Even though the light waits for a very low level of light to turn on, extremely well-lit nights by a full moon and a rather bright security light on my dad’s shop that is close don’t deter the light from remaining on.

The many different customization settings of this light is just the cherry on the top of everything else. There are seven different brightness levels and three colors; white, amber-yellow and deep royal blue, Changing the settings using the magnet is straightforward and just clever.

We leave the magnet attached on the inside back of the mailbox for easy access (and to avoid it getting misplaced in some drawer in the house). Bottom line, even with the growing popularity of these types of solar lights with improvements in solar and battery technology, you’re not going to find lights as unique and well-built as these.

I would and have recommended them to people every chance I get and my mother has received several compliments on the light, as begrudging as she was about putting it and the numbers on the box to begin with.

(A quick note, I sadly have no pictures of the final product with numbers installed, but I did have several of the mailbox with the light so you can see how the project turned out!).

I love when you order something and it works exactly as described! The post caps match our Trex deck color perfectly AND they were easy to install. The instructions included were some of the best I’ve seen! They were detailed, well written and had clear colored graphics and photos.

The quality of the lights is sturdy and well designed. I contacted them when I had a question about my order. The service associate was professional, pleasant, and knowledgeable. I highly recommend these solar lights and this company.

The directions didn’t state how to set the different settings. It is the little black rubber button on the front. I like that it only turns on at night and not with motion any time of day. I have it mounted under the overhang of the garage and it charges great.

I wanted something for above my front door so that when I get home at night, I could see better. This motion sensor worked perfectly. Very bright and shut off with just the right timing. Very happy I got it and do recommend.

The price is right too!.

Initially we loved this light! It was super bright and it detected motion from all angles. We hung it from our shed at our camp and received many compliments on how well it worked. We even told people where we purchased it so they could get one.

Unfortunately it suddenly stopped working and we can’t find a reason why.

They work well as decoration. We did not need them for lighting our way.
