20 Best Sleep Sack For Toddlers (2023 Updated)

This is a beautifully made bag that comes in a very nice drawstring bag. Clearly made of good quality materials as it should be for almost £100. There are a couple of things I wasn’t particularly sold on with this bag.

The first was that whilst it account for a broad temp spectrum this is reliant on your baby wearing multiple layers of clothing under it. This isn’t really practical or convenient for nighttime leaks and changes.

Really I think the spectrum should be set based on up to one full length baby grow. I’m also not a fan of the zip. The fact it zips from the bottom when all other bags operate from the top. This means to put the baby in the zip disengages and has to be slotted back together like when you put a coat on; but way more challenging with a wriggling 7month at 4am.

I don’t see what benefits this zip configuration brings. Personally it’s nice but I wouldn’t buy another – particularly as for half the year it wont be used at nights due to the fact I’m not dressing the baby in 2 baby grows.

I got two of the striped ones when my daughter was born and they have been great, she’s now nearly 2 (and very tall) so I got her two new ones for Christmas. We opted for the prints this time and I was super disappointed to find out they’re only printed on one side.

Just the front has a print and the back is plain. For how much they are, I would have loved to see the print on the back too. I’m so so disappointed in this design flaw, especially since the products themselves are great and will last our family years.

While I’m here… I also think the seatbelt hole is a bit daft. I wasn’t going to write a review for just this (since the bags are so great) but since I’m here! They’re completely pointless and when my daughter was younger she’d get her feet caught in them.

Now she thinks it’s a pocket and wants to stash stuff in there – which is a bit of a nuisance. I’m not sure anyone needs to put their kid in the car or buggy in their sleeping bag?.

Beautiful cosy sleeping bags. Soft and light but kept my girls at just the right temperature all night. With all the hot weather of late it’s been difficult to know what to put them in to go to bed. Since using these bags for the first time all summer they haven’t woken up damp and feeling cold from sweating.

Money is very tight at the moment especially with twins and having to buy two of everything and I hesitated for a long time before buying. Should have done it sooner though as these are well worth the investment.

Quality is good and they feel like they’ll last a long time.

I ordered these two sleep sacks for my toddler because he needed big lightweight ones for the summer heat. I’ve loved the hand me downs he’s grown up with so far. The quality has been superb. Unfortunately one of these has shredded after just two rounds of wash and wear.

Extremely disappointing when I was expecting a quality product from a quality brand.

I had a sleep sack from aden and anais that I liked, but the zipper kept coming apart. I thought it was because the sack was an old hand me down, so I bought this brand new sleep sack. It immediately had the same problem! The zipper does not hold together.

This would be a great sleep sack if the zipper was not garbage.

The idea of the options for bag vs suit was great in my mind, but in practice I don’t like it. For my child’s age (8/9 months) and ability (not standing/walking), it is clumsy to get her into the bag/suit.

Also, the theory of being able to open the bottom of the bag for diaper changes seemed convenient, but in practice I’m not impressed. For the design to work as legs, the top of the zipper opening has to be below the crotch, which means the diaper isn’t accessible without bunching the suit up around the torso after unzipping.

Then, when you’re done with the diaper change, putting the zippers back together, in the dark, with a wiggly baby that is upset because she’s tired and just wants to nurse and go back to sleep, takes too long.

Matching up the sides of the zipper is really hard to do in this scenario, and I don’t know why I keep getting the fabric caught in the zipper when I finally do get it started. Pure frustration at 2am.

I regret buying this product and would recommend separate products for bag vs suit. That way the zippers won’t come completely undone. Actually, I bought the winter onesie for my toddler last winter and I really liked it.

The thing about that one is that I never had to change a diaper overnight and after struggling with these diaper changes, I’m thinking the 3-way zipper on that product isn’t as diaper friendly as I imagine.

Also, that product isn’t available in 3. 5 tog rating.

I usually love this brand but not this time. I have purchased three sleep onesies in size 2-3 years recently and one is 6cm longer then it should in the legs and body making it closer to the next size up which is 4-5 year old.

The company said my daughter is safe to wear it and it’s not faulty even though the website mentions the size the suit should be. My daughter is only one and a half year old and they are telling me to use a suit that is close to 4-5 year old size.

Pretty poor customer service. Such a shame I really liked this brand for my kids.

There is ao much to love about this product. Ive purchased ergo pouch sleep suits for my eldest daughter in the past and it literally changed her sleep patterns overnight. Her eczema cleared up bc the fabric no longer irrated her skin.

When it was time to convert to the legs options her sleep improved again. The handy temperature chart made it easy to know how to dress her. And I found not having to worry about blankets meant it was just one thing less to worry about.

Which as a new mum you seem to worry about many things. So with my next child, it was a no brainer to get another ergo pouch for her from birth and the next size up gor my 2yr old daughter who just loves them so much she doesn’t want to have blankets yet, probably because she moves around the bed at night so much.

I love knowing they warm and yet cant get caught up in blankets.

I loved my lulujo swaddles so I was really looking forward to trying the sleepsacks. The sleepsack quickly becams a favorite of myself and my son. I love how soft the fabric and the two layer design.

My son is so child is warm and cozy inside and he loves how soft it is. The material seems breathable as well so he doesn’t sweat or get overheag like he would with other materials. Overall so happy with our purchase and know my little one is also happy!.

I was thrilled when Lulujo launched these sleep sacks! I literally visited the flagship store and purchased two as I couldn’t wait for my baby to try them out. And, as with all Lulujo products, these are nothing short of amazing! The quality, softeness and comfort is perfect! They wash excellent and I swear my little guy sleeps much better now too! This sleep sack has been wonderful, it’s a great alternative to blankets (which are unsafe for baby use) I feel good knowing my daughter is safe & comfortable while she is sleeping in her sleep sack.

The double sided muslin material is wonderful for keeping her warm. It is easy to do diaper changes with the bottom down zipper as well!.

Did I just pay $60 for a soft piece of fabric? Yes, yes I did. Does it help my baby sleep better through the night? Absolutely not, if anything it almost seems to be worse since I’ve switched to this sleep sack.

I was so very hopeful that this would help my baby sleep better as I’ve been getting next to no sleep for the last ten months but he still wakes up a ton throughout the night this hasn’t helped at all.

I got the 1. 0 that I believe is supposed to be good for 68-72 degrees, I keep his room at 69 degrees but everything I go in the poor kid feels freezing. Definitely not impressed other than yes it is buttery soft.

It closes bottom to top, which I personally don’t like – need to unzip baby completely. Other than that good product.

Although the quality/softness of the sleep bag is top notch, if the zipper decal (exact size and shape of a blueberry) we’re to break off it would absolutely be a chocking hazard. I did not see this decal in the photo of the sleep bag or else I definitely would not have purchased it.

Even though it would be unlikely to break off, I still do not want something that is in my sons crib that he could potentially choke on, especially since he started *******/chewing on the decal right when I put him in it.

I am going to try and find a way to take it off or not use it altogether. I bought this item on sale and unfortunately they do not accept returns on sale items. You would think for being a baby product their #1 priority would be safety instead of “fashion.

” Would not recommend. It’s unfortunate because I would have purchased more and recommended it based on the softness if it didn’t contain a chocking hazard.

Overall, this sleep sack is nice. Like other reviewers have mentioned, it’s very soft, and seems to get softer with each wash. However, the zipper on mine was off before the sack was even washed a second time.

I even washed it inside out on delicate in a small load with my sons bamboo PJs … I was actually LIVID about the zipper breaking off because it came off in the middle of the night while he was wearing it and he could have EASILY choked on it.

I wish that I was able to say I was the exception to the problem of the poorly made zipper 🙁 I purchased 2 and wish I wouldn’t have. The zipper is a MAJOR offense for me. It’s a pretty serious safety issue… if the company upgrades/fixes the zipper issue, I’d buy this sack over and over again ! I hope they can get that solved.

It is beautifully soft and lovely to touch. Washes very well and very well made. I like the double zip also. I bought this because the sleep sacks I already had at home were too wide/gappy around the neck to be safely worn on my 6 month old (ie.

Her head can slip into the sleep sack). This one only goes up to 12 months so I figured it should be smaller at the neck but it isn’t. I am using it as a daytime nap sack where I know I am keeping a closer eye on her.

Breathable material, but still not confident to put her in overnight until she got much bigger. If you are after a snug neckline for a littler one, the ergobaby sacks seem to be the only ones I’ve found! Also from this website.

I’ve heard so many great things about nested bean but haven’t tried it myself as I struggled to justify the price. My baby just hit a 4 month regression and demands to be held constantly. I have only had this sleep sack for a little over a day now and I’m already seeing a notable difference.

My baby is able to self soothe a little bit more on her own whereas prior to this she was not able to at all. I truly think she finds comfort in the beans on the front. She slept longer for her daytime naps as well and she typically only sleeps for a 30-40 min cycle.

Crossing my fingers on this one but I think I’m seeing these differences due to the nested bean. It’s a very nice material, warm and cozy. Happy with this purchase!.

Our son had a hard time with traditional swaddles because he would somehow always break free from them. His startle reflex is super strong so we needed something to address that while keeping his hands for self soothing.

This swaddle has worked extremely well for us and he started sleeping better after using it for about a week! The box says to try it for awhile before deciding if it works or not and we agree that it took time but it worked out in the end.

We like how soft the fabric is and the pocket of beans seems to put just enough weight to encourage soothing. We are already going to buy the next size up because it has become a necessity for bedtime!.

I’ll address the elephant in the room first; Yes, this item is pricey. Especially because babies grow like weeds and therefore you don’t get to use it for more than a handful of months. However, the first time we used this (we also have the Zen Swaddle that we use without the sleeves), was the first time our son slept through the night.

He was about 5 weeks old. We dealt with fits of colic from 11pm until 2am every night, then 9pm to 11pm. After using this item, he no longer screams at night and actually goes to sleep and stays asleep.

That in and of itself is worth any price to me!.

I was so excited about this swaddle, and I wanted to love it. The first night it worked great – keeping my son securely swaddled for many hours between feedings. Unfortunately, on the second night – my son wriggled his arms under the inner band, which pushed the band up around his shoulders.

I woke up to find him crying with the band around his neck. This was terrifying to me and seems like a serious strangulation hazard. I found several reviews about this happening, and I can see that the company recommends putting the inner band low around the baby’s knuckles.

They also suggest placing the baby above the top of the swaddle and pulling it up around the shoulders to securely zip it closed. I tried these things. I was still hopeful that this swaddle could work for us – unfortunately, the inner band again wound up around my son’s neck.

Scary. We do so much to keep our babies safe in their cribs, it is shocking to me that a product that ends up around a baby’s neck is still on the market. Someone from the company told me that “the materials are stretchy enough that nothing would’ve happened” – but I just can’t be sure of that.

It seems the fabric could get twisted and become even tighter. Since this product is marketed to have “escape-proof security,” I wanted to share my experience with other parents of strong babies who like to wriggle out of their swaddles.

The product feels comfy and the cotton seems of decent quality although a bit on the overpriced side considering the mesh bit was already damaged from the very first wash on a baby cycle with other baby bedding.

As per the sizing I believe they are a bit small. I understand the idea of a tight swaddle but my baby is actually uncomfortable sleeping on the medium size one and prefer the large one even if still within the weight range of the medium sack.

Another suggestion to improve your product is that the system to open the arms is also too tight. My baby got to the stage that she sleeps with her arms out of the sack but we find ourselves that she wakes up almost every time we want to let her arms out because it’s too small so it defeats a bit the whole purpose.

Keeps interior looking clean without having gauges on the a pillar

My baby has always preferred to sleep with his arms up. We’d been using the Love To Dream swaddles since the beginning, but for his current size, LTD didn’t have anything that looked comfortable. So when Goumi announced that they were coming out with a sleep sack, I was thrilled! I’m obsessed with Goumi clothes, and I buy Goumi clothes as gifts for all my friends’ babies too.

Like all their products, it’s super soft and high quality. It is on the bigger side, but my baby is a little skinny for his age but also very very long, so the extra length is great. And of course I love the 2-way zipper feature.

Now that I have a mover who hates to lie still during diaper changes, 2 way-zippers are the way to go!.

I had originally bought our baby a 0-6 months Burt’s Bees wearable blanket to transition him into after the swaddle. Well, the Burt’s Bees one was HUGE on him at 3 months (15ish pounds- big baby). He kept grabbing the extra fabric at his chest and pulling it over his face.

Which lead my search to this sleep bag. The 0-6 month one fits him perfect! It’s cozy around his chest and roomy in the leg area. And it is very soft. I love snuggling him while he’s wearing it. So many cute colors on sale.

I will be ordering more!.

I love the material, it lives up to the goumi name. It has some weight to it which I think helps my son stay asleep. If I could change anything about it, I would change the zippers. There are too many zippers.

The 2 small zippers on the right could be reduced to just one zipper that goes only half way up the side. Then there is the larger zipper that comes up to the neckline. I’m not sure why it is larger, I think it could easily be as small as the other 2 zippers which would reduce the bulk at the neckline.

The shark bamboo sleep sack is buttery soft! My twins only like super soft breathable fabrics and this is it! There is also plenty of length so my giant twin can stretch out comfortably. They sleep like little angels in these.

The only con is the snaps at the shoulder (they are there so it will fit longer but are cumbersome when you have a wiggly tired baby). Would definitely buy again.

I do love this sleepy bag, but not as much as other sleep bags we’ve used. The snaps are a nice thought for extended wear, but in reality they’re just one more thing to make it more complicated getting on and off my wiggly toddler.

I also feel like it isn’t *as* soft as our other LS gear. In short, I like it, but don’t LOVE it, especially for the price.

It’s very soft and comfortable for my little one. Great size, 3T is hard to find. My son sweats a lot in his sleep and he hates a blanket over him, this wearable blanket is perfect for him. It is breathable and cozy warm at the same time.

He’s sleeping through the night with it.
