20 Best Sleep Positions For Sciatica (2023 Updated)

I’ve been taking this for years now I always keep several bottles on hand. I have a slipped disk third vertebrae from tail bone it’s pressing on Sciatic Nerve. Sometimes at night I get pains and what is called restless leg and arm syndrome.

I put three droppers full under my tongue and hold it there for as long as I can (few minutes). I swallow when the saliva has blended with liquid and there is no more taste. Its takes about 15-20 minutes for me to notice that the problems have faded away.

I am amazed at how well this product works. My sciatic pain is reduced by about 75% and I am pain free for longer and longer periods of time during the day. Sciatica is something I have dealt with for about 6 years now.

This brace is perfect to assist w/ lifting heavy loads or vacuuming, providing strong support. Not sure I bought the right size though. I went by measurements but I think I could have used a smaller sz.

I had a previous mask, but it was filled with seeds and I had a sensitivity to it. This one is fine and heats up much quicker than the previous one. It hasn’t cured anything, but I find it to be very soothing.

It really seems to be a very simple concept. Stretch the back and allow it to relax. I was having lower back problems and gimping around my yard when my neighbor told me about this. He loaned me his.

I used it one time for about 5 mins – and – my back was in shape again. Now – mind you this is a temporary fix. I ordered this on line and now I use it once or twice a day. I really should be more “religious” about it though.

This is the second TrueBack stretcher that I have. The first was a gift/loan. One SHOULD/MUST use this both carefully and with ‘medical advice”, whether you consult a chiropractor, osteopath, physical therapist, or some other spine oriented professional who is familiar with the architecture of YOUR back.

I say this because you can reap great benefit and also potentially hurt yourself worse, depending on how you mount this device, stretch your back, and dismount from this device. Having wrestled with back problems for over 50 years, I HAVE indeed been helped by occasionally using this device.

HOWEVER, I STRONGLY suggest that without correct application and use of this tool (like so many things in life), you can potentially make your condition worse. All that caveat aside, it has helped me gain temporary relief about 20 times over the last 10 years during which I owned the first unit I received.

This second one is going to be a loaner for friends and family. BUT, BE CAREFUL to abide by what your back professional advises you to do with this device.

I like this back adjuster. My BIL likes it. My kids have mixed feelings. I prefer a chiropractor, but this helps so I don’t feel like I need to go as often. (I typically go less than once a month.)

I’ve tried literally dozens of braces over the past decade and have found only two that work well for me for regular wear. This Vive brace is one of them. But the sizing is strange. I’m using a small which just barely fits.

The large is almost twice the size and way too large. I wish they made a middle size. But otherwise this brace gives firm support, it stays in place throughout daily activities, yet it is lightweight and relatively comfortable for extended wear.

The only other brace I like is a very similar design made by another company. I do especially like that the Vive comes in light gray and is thin enough to be worn under clothing if desired.

I just received my Vice back brace in the mail. I have a scoliosis and a spinal fusion. My last 3 vertebrae are not fused on my lower back so they take a lot of abuse and I can no longer stand up straight and work after about 3 hours.

I have spinal stenosis, sciatica, and 3 degenerated discs in my lower back. These conditions have been with me for the last 40+ years. (I am 69 years young. ). Until 8 months ago, Chiropractic kept these ailments from interfering with my quality of life.

Now, I do one minute at 60 degrees, then 1 minute at full inversion, then 1 minute at 60 degree) Third: I return to horizontal and slowly return to the mounting/dismounting position over the course of 1 minute.

I had been seeing chiropractors for well over a decade. I also have utilized acupuncture intermittently to address pain from scoliosis-likely caused in childhood accident and a compression fracture from horse back riding accident in my 30’s and also early 40’s.

While I am a health care professional, I am glad I have had Chiro help, body work in the past, and acupuncture which is helpful in figuring out where the problems are and making life manageable I am glad I made Teeter inversion table a major part of maintenance of back care to allow my spine to have the spinal decompression which I needed.

As a pain physician I didn’t hold much hope that this simple seat device would help us on our 20 hour drive to the West coast. My girlfriend bought two of these Back Joy seats before the trip. The first leg was about 12.

I bought this on a lark, because I have tried/own just about every kind of back support product invented, and I wanted to see if this thing could live up to the stars it received on another website. I figured that so many people could not be wrong.

Well they can. This is the single most useless product for back support that I have ever purchased. and I have purchased many. I have low back pain, (with hip pain now becoming an issue now that I am approaching the age of 60).

This product did nothing at all. nothing. If you know how to sit straight in a chair, you don’t need this product. The theory that this thing “forces” your pelvis into the right position mystifies me.

even if it did, that would not be good, because you need to use all your muscles to put you in that position. and that’s what you want. to use your muscles. I am completely mystified by this product.

Save your money, and buy a good lumber seat cushion, and/or a good back chair for sitting. For relaxing or reclining, get a good zero gravity chair #if you can afford one#.

I actually purchased this for my Dad but after it came in I learned that he prefers to sleep on his back so I thought maybe I should try it. I had a pelvic injury 7 months ago and had to sleep with a pillow between my knees until it healed.

Didn’t think I needed anything to keep my hips and back in alignment until I tried this. Now I know that it helps a LOT! It’s small and comfortable, doesn’t disturb my sleep even when on my back or rolling from one side to the other, it just goes with you.

I wake up feeling refreshed and have no lower back or hip pain. So glad I ended up with this and decided to try it. Who knew!.

I purchased the knee pillow in regular size. I thought I might need a large one so I found the product description to the dimensions. Found the dimensions for the average and large size were exactly the same in the descriptions.

Why pay a higher price for the same size? I wish there was a large size because that is the one I think I need. The average size one just is not long enough. Guess I will have to live with what I bought.

I love this little knee pillow. I have tried pillow after pillow and nothing has worked. Regular pillows slide out where as this doesn’t, it cradles my knees/legs perfectly and stays there. It’s just the right density, not to hard, not too soft.

I just had a full hip replacement surgery and I am not suppose to cross my leg even while I am sleeping on my side. It was my understanding that this pillow would help me keep my leg from crossing. After using it the first night, I woke up with the pillow not between my knees and my leg crossed.

This stuff works great and I like that it’s homeopathic. I used to take Aleve (bad for kidneys) every day for my back pain, now I only take 2 Sciatica Therapy tablets each day. I like that they dissolve under the tongue.

My sciatic nerve gets real bad when I am standing or bending over to much and this product after taking it for a few days started calming it down. Will buy again when I need them.

My doctor said a brace might be helpful in recovery from a compression fracture, Lumbar 1. A friend lent me her black back brace that she had worn working in childcare, and it seemed to help. I now have bought two from BraceAbility so that I can alternate and hand wash them.

Like any other item of clothing, the brace can slip up while being worn, and I must tug it down. I also wonder if I am making it too snug. It reminds me to “**** in my gut” and stand up straight, and that, perhaps is the best thing about it.

I am able to wear the brace under my clothing and not “stand out” in a crowd. I am not a tall person, and the brace comes up a bit high in front, and then slips up more during the day so that I must tug at it in private or be very uncomfortable.

But over all, I am glad to have the braces. I really don’t know what to say about the fit/size. I measured my waist according to instructions and think it is probably “true to size. “.

I am wearing this product during the end of my long shifts working as an RN. This really did help relieve the muscle pain associated with being on my feet all day. I do not have sciatica pain but I wanted this version in comparison to the other versions they have offered.

In addittion I have purchased some shoes from Gdefy and Spira to help with back pain. So far, so good. The brace can get a little sweaty but I expected this before buying it. Side note: my chiropracter said you should not be wearing this all day, but only during times when you need the support like at the end of the shift or during heavy lifting.

I had previously ordered this brace for myself and I loved it. I am 67 and gardening has been my passion for more than 30 years and my lower back literally wore out. This brace helps tremendously, stays in place and has held it’s support for over a year now.

My daughter (32 yrs) recently started a yard project that required lifting a lot of heavy materials and bending down for long periods so I bought her this brace- she loves it too! Wish I would have had the sense to start wearing these braces when I was 32… lol.

I had back surgery and need to be able to lie comfortably on my side. I’ve been using pillows and cushions but they all take a lot of space or get too hot. This is pillow is very helpful and versatile.

It is helpful between the thighs and also the ankles. It’s firm enough to do it’s job but also very comfortable. The only thing that would make it better is a cover. It has really helped stabilize my hips when laying in bed and reduced my back pain.

I bought this due to increasing back pain in the evenings and after hearing that a pillow between the knees could help relieve the pain. What a difference it made just after the first night!! I cannot recommend this enough! If you are pregnant or experience back problems, please consider getting this knee pillow! I have siatica that effects me while standing. this has made walking and standing painless. it gives my leg the sensation that I can only describe getting circulation back in your leg after it has fallen asleep.

The Bottom Elastic is a bit loose the top elastic is perfect. I can feel the pressure needed to stop the pain. I think this wil work jsut fine. I think its perfect for driving with sciatica pain.

I couldn’t believe it! This little idea is perfect, it works. I still haven’t found the right spot on my calf to place this brace.

My mom first recommended this company to me after I pulled a muscle in my back at the gym. I kept re-Injuring myself, and she recommended I use this, as she uses one herself for her own back issues. WOW – I thought I’d try this as I’ve been having lower back pain and sciatica w/pains going down my legs. This is AMAZING!! I am delighted. This takes away the pain in the lower back and allows you to walk without pain.

Even sometimes when I am lying down my lower back pain is there and this takes it away. And this is better for you than Ibuprophen or hydrocodone. No after effects either. Don’t ever let anyone tell you homeopathics don’t work – they have absolutely no idea what they’re talking about.

I am really not sure if this stuff works, to be honest, or if I just wanted it to work. It does have a smell to it which I can’t really describe. This product did not relieve pain for me personally but it might work for someone else.

Everyone is different. It is worth trying for anyone who has sciatica which is often debilitating; I know I was willing to try anything to get some relief and sometimes you don’t know until you try something.

This is a well made item however, it’s extremely bulky! It seems as though it was designed for men! I’ve tried 2 sleep w/ it several times & it’s uncomfortable to me. I’ve ordered a different style w/ the hope that I’ll get some relief!.

Works well, but overseas shipping costs are terrible. The pillow provides decent support, but has a tendency to flatten after a few months. Might not provide enough support for people with heavier legs.

I am very pleased with the knee pillow: – The foam is firm enough so that it doesn’t collapse under the weight of my leg when sleeping on my side. – It has a nice fitted cover with a zipper that allows removal to launder.

Quick comments – Disc bulge at L5-S1 for 8 years. Constant pain level- 3-6 in the past 7 months. Used NeuroMD for a month now and the pain is completely relieved. Detailed Comments- Suffered pain lock twice and hospitalized to get relieved.

Daily pain relieving physiotherapy exercises was helping for many years and able to manage daily life. By December 2021 fell sick and there after started experiencing constant pain at level of 3-6. Consumed prescription steroids to get the pain under control and continued with OTC pain killers, hot water / cold packs, physiotherapy exercises which brought down the pain level to 2-4.

I was skeptical at first when I ordered it but knowing the return policy, I thought it was worth the risk to order this product. I have had back pain on and off for at least 10 years. Due to needing to frequently lift at work, it’s not something I can really get away from.

I work as a Materials Tester (Soils and Concrete) and often need to lift and carry equipment for the day. One tool in particular, the Soil Moisture/Density Gauge, is particularly difficult to manage because it is carried by one hand.

Being that it is so heavy and makes me feel lopsided, iI find it’s very hard on my lower back. I will use a cart over flat terrain but 99% of the time, I’m working on a job site where uneven terrain/slopes are the norm.

I have gone to the chiropractor/massage therapist and taken otc medication to help but I get relief that doesn’t last for very long. I would often have to lay on the floor just to get some relief. I would fall asleep on the floor because as soon as I found a position where I didn’t hurt, I would pass out from exhaustion.

If you know what I’m talking about, meaning you’re in pain all day and the constant pain is a burden. Any relief from it pain is like a massive physical/psychological release. For the first week and a half, I was honestly thinking this product was going to go back (return for refund), but I figured I would stick to the treatment plan in the book.

I am really glad I did because it has helped me tremendously. Although I do get sore at the end of the day, it is nowhere near what it was before starting treatment. I feel like I have better overall strength and endurance and more energy.

Whenever I lift the gauge, I don’t have the same negative association any longer (associate the gauge with being in pain from using it all day). If you have chronic pain, all I can tell you is to try NeuroMD and if after sticking with it for the trial period, it doesn’t work, return it for a refund.

My only complaint about the product is I wish there was a wire option to connect the pad to the device so it makes it more comfortable to lean up against something (like when you’re sitting on the couch).

It’s not terribly thick but it’s hard plastic and having it push into your back can make it a little uncomfortable. I use a soft pillow behind me to help support my back while contouring around the device.

Pillow is large. Have trouble with legs? This would be a good product to keep legs apart. Being a large size woman found difficult for thighs and calves. Used for ankles. Could not keep legs in one position.

Since I have P. A. D. thought this item would help my situation. Restless leg syndrome folks will find this item helpful. Used for a few nights. Couldn’t keep legs closed all night so the pillow had to be repositioned.

This would be a good product for folks with leg problems. If pillow was thinner could be used in many different areas. Would recommend to friends and family.
