As someone who has struggled with acne since puberty, this product works amazingly. As an adult, I now struggle with irritable hormonal, cystic (occasionally) acne just on my jawline and since using this treatment the irritation and inflammation was reduced on the first night.

As the product states, it’s advanced strength, so don’t take that lightly. I would not recommend using as a serum unless your acne is more severe. Do not mix with other chemicals until tolerance is built because this will burn or aggravate the skin.

I now only need to use it a few nights a week as I alternate treatments since my skin can become use to products after a few months but this stuff always works great. My spots are fading and new acne has been kept at bay.

Gamechanger! I have hormonal acne along my jawline and neck, usually bad when it’s that time of the month, as well as some acne along my forehead. I started using this two months ago, morning and night, and I am still on the same bottle, but I have had maybe three zits total in that amount of time, where as I normally have about 10/month, and that was because I started cutting back on how often I was using it, I was getting spoiled with clear skin.

My skin is slightly sensitive, and it does not get irritated or break out when using. Has no scent, which I like, because I don’t need my skin to smell like oranges or roses or anything. Leaves my oily skin feeling matte, which I also like.

This has also helped treat the blackheads on my nose, I have very few since I started using this. It’s a little pricy, but when you get to skip using multiple products, you actually save a bit of money.

I’m so glad I took the chance on getting this, I really didn’t think it would do much for me since I was already using PTR time release retinol serum(nightly) PTR glycolic cleanser(am & pm) and a salicylic acid mud mask(3x weekly, am) Since this contains time release retinol I did take the serum out of my nightly routine, but everything else remained the same.

I applied this to active blemishes and my chin 3x daily and within a week all my active blemishes were gone, as soon as I felt a painful cyst start to form I applied this right away up to 3x and every time it was gone by the next day.

Within 4 weeks the congested pores on my chin cleared up drastically, although I am still applying it on my chin now 2x daily as I’m still having congestion it’s nowhere near as bad as it was. I have noticed if I stop using it for a day the pores on my chin get clogged all over again rather quickly so I really have to stay on top of it.

Around my 3rd week of using this I did experience some very mild drying on my chin from applying it 3x a day, but it wasn’t intolerable. I just used a moisturizing sleep mask at night within a few days the dryness went away.

I now use the sleep mask 3x week just to counter any dryness. I didn’t experience any purge with this product but that may be because I was already used to the actives in it before I started using it.

All in all I don’t want to run out of this stuff. Being a spot treatment I feel while it is pricey it’s definitely worth its price. The consistency is thin and light but not runny, and a pea sized amount is enough to cover my whole chin area.

This will last a while.

I’ve been using this product for a little over 60 days and it’s fantastic! This little gel is more like a soothing lotion. Unlike other acne treatments, there is absolutely no burning, flaking or irritation.

I use it twice per day as the only moisturizer for my chin (my hormonal acne danger zone). I still occasionally get 1-2 cystic bumps around my cycle. However they are smaller and gone in a few days-a week with virtually no scarring.

I know my skin responds well to aloe in general and I accredit that to the speedy healing results. Also a small amount goes a long way! I think this bottle will easily last me 4-6 months. My chin is the happiest it’s been since childhood! I highly recommend, especially if you struggle with hormonal acne like I do!.

I bought this off the actual Kiehl’s site but am probably going buy it on Sephora’s site since I have a gift card 🙂 I could NOT stop breaking out for weeks! I don’t really have a problem with acne so I wasn’t really sure what to do.

I tried clay masks, acne cleansers, changing moisturizers, and finally, I remembered I had this stuff! I used it for only 2 days when I saw a difference. I no longer have those little blackhead/breakout bumps.

This also worked for a pimple I had. It does appear to be drying but it actually isn’t if you use it properly. I usually wash my face, apply some to the affected area, and let it sit for 5 minutes before applying a thin layer of moisturizer on top.

Since using Differin gel I’ve noticed brighter skin tone, improved skin texture and appearance, and a decrease in fine lines. If anything, my skin is blemish-free and has a gorgeous dewy glow. At 32, I honestly think my skin looks better than it did in my 20s!!! My dermatologist recommended that I add Differin gel to my skincare routine instead of spending top dollar on Tretinoin (prescription strength retinoid).

Essentially, adapalene (the active ingredient in Differin gel) works very similarly to Tretinoin at a fraction of the cost. I typically buy Differin gel at Ulta (~$28 for the large tube) which lasts about 3 months.

I think the mistake that most people make is that they don’t understand the mechanism of action for the skincare products they choose or they are using the product improperly. Differin gel IS NOT A SPOT TREATMENT! You only need a pea size amount and spread it across your entire face — even if you don’t have acne.

Differin gel is marketed as an “acne treatment” but it has phenomenal anti-aging properties!!! I’ve noticed such a vast improvement in the overall look of my skin and I’m beyond impressed with the results.

The price point is affordable and I haven’t had any difficulty finding Differin gel even at my local CVS and Walgreens. Word to the wise–Just be careful around the eyes and start *slow*–My dermatologist said start Differin gel EVERY OTHER day at first then slowly increase to every day.

Make sure you’re using a good moisturizer too (you can sandwich it — moisturizer-Differin-moisturizer). Your skin really needs to get used to the retinoids in Differin which basically speed up your body’s ability to turn over your skin cells.

My personal experience has been great with Differin gel and I plan to keep it in my skincare routine indefinitely, especially because it’s not breaking the bank.

Just finished my 2nd bottle of this and I have to say it is definitely my favorite acne spot treatment, it doesn’t dry my skin and it gets rid of any breakouts within a day or 2 at most. The only 2 drawbacks is the smell, it smells awful, the int thing I can compare it to is tea tree oil, even though it doesn’t have tea tree oil in it.

The other thing is the cover on the bottle that only lets a tiny drop at a time come out, which is ok if you only have one little spot on your face but gets annoying when you are applying it to several spots or a larger area, it would be much better with a larger opening.

But other than that it is a great treatment for breakouts and very affordable. I plan on trying the other products in this line soon since I love this spot treagnent so much.

This is a great go to product when you have that emergency spot pop up. It won’t give you instant relief but you will see instant results. I only had to apply this once before bed before I saw a difference.

Strong scent of tea tree oil when you first apply but the smell dissipates quickly. I personally would not use this every day because it might be very drying but this is great for those spots that pop up out of the blue.

The only downside for me was the application. I personally used a Q-tip to apply so I didn’t take any stars off my rating. I will definitely continue to use this product with Burts Bee’s Acne solutions Spot Treatment Cream which is my favourite treatment.

Loved this product have oily skin. Really helps with bumps on my face cleaning out them. Would recommend this product for in between type skin. Was fairly new when purchased but I love Neutrogena products and how they work with my skin.

I felt like I lost a couple of years of age progression using this product. Hello world with my big belly and all felt really good. So if anyone wants to try Neutrogena Oil Free Acne Wash Pink Grapefruit Foaming Scrub and have a really fresh face I would surely recommend it.

Tell everyone and everybody about this product to try for themselves. Go right ahead. I am still using this product now that I’m pregnant with my second child and I’m getting the same results as before when I was pregnant with my first child.

Try and tell people abouts this product so they can experience euphoria that i felt and feel everytime i use it. Just be careful not use to much of it at one time because they have microbeads in them and be careful not to harshly wash your face also with this product.

I wish people would not say that this product needs to be taken off the shelf. Here is why: For the first two weeks of using this product I was freaked out. Like many other reviews my chin swelled up and was covered in a rash.

That was followed by severe dryness and flaky skin. I immediately read other reviews and saw that others had the same problem. I was freaked out and thought of immediately using a different brand HOWEVER I figured if it was strong enough to cause that reaction it must be strong enough to fight acne which I was desperate for.

I decided to stick with it a little longer and I am glad I did. Those symptoms only lasted a week or two then all that went away. I use this twice a day followed by nutrogena moisturizer. My skin is perfectly normal the only difference is, I have no acne.

I am 30 and I break out during ovulation. I have been using this product for over a month and its now starting to really show results. I am ovulating right now and I can not count even one pimple. (Who wants acne at age 30 right, I feel like a teenager again.

) I am glad I decided to stick with this product. Maybe if others do, some may have the same good results as me and have a little less self consciousness.

I have oily acne prone dark skin. I have managed to maintain a healthy skin and minimal breakouts by including Tretinoin to my skin care routine. I have been using Himalaya neem face wash for ages and Nivea jojoba oil vitamin E lotion.

I read about salicylic acid and it’s benefits for acne prone skin and hyperpigmentation, and thought of giving this product a go. Before switching to this product, I stopped using the Tretinoin. At first, my skin was irritated after using this face wash.

My face became very very itchy and my skin had some kind of a fine and textured rash that one can see and feel. I figured that’s normal since it’s my first time applying salicylic acid on my skin. I stopped for a couple of days and then resumed using this product.

All was good after that until I started breaking out badly all over my chin and cheeks even though I use this face wash only once a day and I consistently moisturise afterwards.

ok i’m gonna start this off by saying everyone’s skin is different and there’s not a product that’s gonna work for everyone. personally my skin was bad but wasn’t anything extreme. mainly just “maskne” but i decided i’d give this a shot since no face wash ever really works for me.

usually worst case scenario the face wash simply doesn’t work. but this one made my skin at least 3x worse. i didn’t change a thing in my skin care routine. just this product. i thought “hm maybe i’ll stop using it and see if that’s what the problem is” and poof my skin started clearing up again and now it looks pretty good and all i do is wash it with a dab of shampoo.

i’m not bashing this product because a lot of the people reviewing it seem like it actually helped them but for myself it was awful and it’s really pricey too especially since it did absolutely nothing but made my acne worse.

I bought this product about a month ago. it was recommended by an Ulta employee when I went into the store to find a foundation to cover my blemishes. I am 26 years old and still get very painful red and ingrown acne around my chin.

As well as constant blackheads. She recommended this product to treat my acne not just hide it which was what I was originally going in for. I’ve never heard of this brand so I was a little hesitant but didn’t want to be rude and say no.

I love this product but the bottle packaging is not what it should be. I’ve been using this for a few years. The problem is that the dispensing hole on the cleanser bottle is too small for the particles in the cream.

It gets clogged WAY too quickly and won’t dispense. I’ve squeezed so hard that I’ve actually popped the top off and wound up with a hand full of cleanser. I’ve resorted to using nail scissors to widen the opening but even that isn’t always enough.

My second issue may just be because I’m a guy using this and I might not use as much as a gal would. But I always run out of cleanser and clarifier LONG before I run out of moisturizer. Because of whatever facial hair I’m sporting at the moment, I may not use as much moisturizer as someone that doesn’t have a beard to contend with.

This is a minor quibble. I just use the leftover bottle until it’s done and then start on the new. I used to have multiple breakouts and blackheads but this definitely did the trick. I’ve made it a daily part of my ritual and recommend it to anyone with similar issues.

I typically dont do many reviews but. I bought proactive products in the past and they are costly. When i got a recent bad breakout i seen this product kit so i bought it. So i can honestly say it is equall if not better than the costly brand.

Its very healing , not drying and you get everything you need to heal and protect your skin. You will not be dissappointed! It has 2. 5 benzole peroxide. I dont go above that or your skin will dry out and flake.

I swear I have more random zits now as a 30 year old mom than I ever did my teens! I stopped using this for a year or two and went back to a basic facial scrub (St Ives) but after having a baby, Salicylic acid was just not cutting it for my skin anymore.

Momhood and constant mask wearing in public/at work (thanks covid!) really wreaked havoc on my jaw line and cheeks with super painful scarring type of zits; not too many, but just enough to know that I needed to change my face cleaning system to something more intense.

This is an amazing product WHEN I use it twice a day. I did have a lot of drying in the beginning but I have since added different moisturizers/serums to my routine and now I have zero over drying. I definitely need to use this twice a day, and if I skip even one wash, I do notice my skin is not as happy.

One box lasts me about a month give or take, but I do find that I don’t need the moisturizer (step 3) as frequent as that so I end up with extra of those. not a big deal, but wish we could buy individually! For $11 a month, it is worth it.

I love this product! I’m in my 50’s and still get hormonal pimples. I’ve been using this for years and it works without over drying. I bought the new large size with the pump to use in the shower. As other recent reviews have stated, the pump on the Value Size does not work properly whatsoever.

It is very disappointing to spend $50+ (with tax)on a product to find that when you go to use it, the size of a half of a pea comes out. I had to pump it 15 times just to get enough on the wash cloth.

Very frustrating. I’m going to transfer it to another bottle because the product itself is great, but this should have been tested prior to marketing it, as it obviously isn’t a fluke since others have stated the same thing.

Since it is new, there wasn’t other reviews when I bought it. The other sizes are awesome though, but avoid the large Value size. I had to deduct two points simply because the application (pump) does not work, and there is no excuse for putting it on the market when there is such an obvious flaw when going to use it.

That would be the equivalent of having an awesome lipstick whose bullet doesn’t roll up. However, the product is a very good product. Once they change the bottle to a working one, I’ll change the review to 5 stars.

I do recommend the Murad Anti-Aging Acne Time Release Acne Cleanser for people with skin breakouts, though! The Murad Acne Control Clarifying Cleanser in the regular and mini size work great and are in a tube with no application problems.

This Cleanser leaves your face with a feeling that is very cool and invigorating, while helping to getting rid of unwanted oil, and it does wonders for helping bumps to disappear.

I rarely use anything in my skin as a man, but I had a bad breakout and just so happened to receive a sample with a. Cologne purchase. I used it and got little bumps. I almost stopped using it, but looked at a review and found out it was called purging where it was actually flushing out all the oil and bumps in the process of being formed.

I bought a small bottle and continued using it. After a week, my bumps have cleared, and some big pores on my face magically disappeared also. I would not recommend using this if you have less than 2 weeks before a trip or so.

The “purging “ will continue but afterwards my skin is clearer than ever. If you are African American like me, please use the mattifying sunscreen also.
