While I enjoyed this serum, it did not work as advertised to visibly reduce the size of my pores. I used this daily for 2 weeks and saw literally no difference in the pores on my face. However, I still gave the serum 4 out of 5 stars because while it didnt do anything for my pores, it did work other miracles on my skin.

My skin became less red in spots where I usually always have red blemishes, my skin was SO much softer, and I even saw a reduction in what little acne I still struggle with. So even though my pores werent affected, my skin was still GLOWING after using this.

I do recommend this product to people who struggle with full or uneven skin, and the price is great considering how long the bottle lasts. I only use this on my forehead and cheeks and one drop on each place is plenty so you’re getting plenty of bang for your buck.

I really like its lightweight consistency that goes into my skin right away. No particular smell. The glass packaging and the pump applicator make it easy to use. I have incorporated the serum into my morning routine and my skin adapted very well to it.

Usually I like to use my Vitamin C based products in the morning and this serum is packed with a handful of great ingredients. My skin feels hydrated, radiant and happy.

I have tried countless Vitamin C serums and didn’t fall in love with any until I tried Hyper’s. I try all vitamin C serum for at least two months before making my evaluation so I can give the product time to work.

Got this as part of a sample and I thought that out of all the items I got, even other products I purchased to correct hyperpigmentation from acne scarring, this seemed to work the best. For me, it felt best while using this to moisturize a lot, as I felt that it does feel a bit drying and like others have said, sticky.

This is the first VitC serum I’ve used, so I imagine this is just how they work. It felt kind of tight on my skin as it dried/absorbed, but it didn’t give me any problems. It instructs you to only put it on right away in the morning.

In my experience I found that a little goes a long way, so in my opinion you don’t need to slather this on your face. The tiny sample size lasted me 3 applications, but I was also spot treating on my cheeks where I have pretty severe hyperpigmentation from months of maskne.

Only reason it’s not 5 stars is because I haven’t used it long enough to know for sure if there is long term improvement but I am considering purchasing a larger bottle to test this!.

This is a solid vitamin c. I purchased it after my cousin stunted on all of us in the family zoom chat with her glowing skin! I asked what she uses, & she shared this with me. I purchased the mini since I’m using other vitamin c products from YTTP & Glytone.

I really think it’s too soon to tell whether it works, & i don’t think vitamin c serums are effective at treating hyperpigmentation on my skin; however, i can share what I do/do not like about this product.

Like: doesn’t irritate my skin, absorbs well, no weird smell or excessive fragrance! Also brightens my skin a bit and plays well with my other daytime products. Dislike: none so far. Unknowns: not yet sure whether this would help against hyperpigmentation, though it does help brighten my skin a bit.

Because it is not irritating & doesn’t stink, I would recommend it.

I’ve been using this for 2 years now, and can’t live without it. I often use it with the Firm-A-Bright Booster, but it’s powerful on it’s own, too. After pregnancies, I had a dark area above my whole upper lip, and tried to many things that never quite worked.

This is simply a great product. I’m seeing fewer dark areas and the ones that are there seem lighter and a better texture. I bought this at a spa and paid twice as much for it as on this website so was thrilled to find it here.

This was the worst experience I’ve had with skincare ever. As a dedicated plumster who’s entire skin and hair care collection is just plum, I’m truly truly upset with how terribly this and the other plum serums performed.

First is the consistency. The consistency of all these serums is ABYSMAL. It’s thick and just sits on the skin like a thick coating. It makes my skin feel tacky for hours on end. It’s also safe to say these serums DO NOTHING.

Bare minimum if that. The vitamin C serum made no difference whatsoever. The hyaluronic acid serum is terrible in texture, isn’t plumping or hydrating and doesn’t absorb. It sits on the skin and makes my makeup go on so clumpy.

I’ve had to only use it before bed so no one can see what I look like. The AHA/BHA serum is terrible. The consistency is bad, the dropped is not ergonomic at all. And the serum is no effective at all, but more damaging.

It burns my skin in specific places when applied, and not in an allergic way, more of bad ingredients way. I’ve used all three of these serums from other brands and I’ve never faced this issue before.

As someone who’s used exclusively plum products since I discovered the brand and raved about it to everyone I knew, I’m sad to say that these products have made me decide to diversify to other brands.

Please be aware before investing into these. I’m so disappointed at the waste of money and product that I now have to no good benefit from.

I’m a deep skin toned person with hyperpigmentation around my mouth area. So I decided to get the Plum Vitamin C serum. After getting the product, I started using it from the very next day. But felt so much glow after using it with Hyaluronic acid serum.

For the first two weeks didn’t see any difference apart from the glow, but started seeing visible difference on the fourth week. I don’t say my hyperpigmentation is completely gone but it’s definitely fading away.

The product was good but it appear to be a lie about giving a free gift for doing the survey. Wanted to place other orders but because of my not receiving the gift I won’t be using their product again neither will I be using Amazon who was used to make the the purchase.

It stings a little for me and acts like a toner but the difference is it is quite effective on blemishes! I have not taken pictures which I wish I did, but I definitely see results using this! Speeds up process of healing and evening the skin.

I used the product and noticed a significant difference in the fading of my age spots. Once a day, I used it. After a shower in the evening, I apply and massage the crucial area. I’m not experiencing any negative effects.

I don’t actually buy into these dark spot removers at all, I’ve used a few of those mostly patches and they’ve done nothing so I’d pretty much resigned myself to never getting rid off these weird marks the few pimples I was getting were all of a sudden leaving (never happened before, and I’ll tell you why at the end of this review) then I decided to try out this product, that I think I got in a Fabfitfun sale if I’m remembering correctly and I started using it on my dark spots and even sometimes pimples, and I couldn’t believe what I was seeing after only a couple of weeks, if that, my dark spots were literally getting smaller and smaller and some even disappearing!! And I wasn’t using anything else! This lightning wand truly does work wonders and literally like magic you can clearly see a reduction in your dark spots! And it works great for existing pimples too.

Very few times have I repurchased something I’ve gotten in subscription boxes but I just did with the lightning wand a few weeks ago because I am definitely continuing using this! I love that the ingredient list doesn’t contain anything that dries out the skin like most pimple removers do so I can use this without worrying that my already dry skin will get dryer and it is easy to use.

The only issue I have and the reason it gets a star removed is the application of it. I do like the steel roller that you can just roll over certain areas but the problem not only lies in it being pretty unhygienic having the roller touching the skin over and over but the clicker that pumps the product out does it in a way where you can’t really control how much comes out of it so usually I am pumping out more product than I actually need so I either end up having to just use the rest over the same areas or wherever or I close the lid with liquid still on the roller ball, which is probably a waste of product.

That is my only “complaint” with the product but other then that I absolutely love it and its effectiveness! When I went onto Hero’s website to buy another wand I even bought a few other products along with it because I was interested in seeing if their other products are as good, the jury is still out but I am so glad I found this brand as these dark spots were really starting to make me desperate that I’d never have clear skin again, especially since I don’t deal with issues like acne, so besides having mild but pesky eczema and mild rosacea my skin is usually clear.

Pimples often appear when trying out new products and I didn’t realize until too late that the products brands are selling you to reduce pimples (with all those drying ingredients like salicylic acid and such) actually are the reason you get a dark spot after the pimple is gone!! I never used those products before and I never got dark spots but after using them I have plenty of them! So this wand is a welcome addition to my skincare routine.

I bought this after reading the positive reviews & videos. I started using the spot patches & rescue balm about 2 weeks ago & found them really effective & helpful at reducing my pesky spots (I would recommend these!).

I now needed something to help fade the dark marks left from having picked my older spots. I thought the lightening wand would do the trick but alas, the first time I used it on several dark marks my skin reacted by first going red, swollen & itchy & then producing lots of tiny white pus filled spots that blistered.

I’ve had to calm them down with an ice pack (over 3 days) & have used a little of the rescue balm & lots of Weleda’s Skin Food to keep my skin moist during the swelling itchy period & to avoid lots of dry skin patches once it started to blister.

I’m disappointed that the lightening wand caused such a bad reaction. I’m worried I’ll be left with even darker marks. If this has happened to other people I’d be interested to know whether it’s a sensitive skin issue or if the lightening wand contains a very strong chemical that has affected other people in the same way.

I can’t risk using it again – such a shame as I ordered it from the US for a UK delivery & paid almost the sane price for the delivery cost.

After months of diligent internet research, I finally decided to try the Hero Cosmetics Clear Collective line. I purchased the jelly cleanser, toner, capsule toner, and lightning wand. I’ve never had problem skin – occasionally a tad oily but not usually one to break out severely.

I purchased this product mid February and finally made the decision to return it back to Ulta. I’ve never had a set of products just completely mess with my skin. After a weeks worth of usage I started breaking out in a ton of “white heads” which I was told was just my skin being purged.

I gave the products more time and it’s just gotten to the point where my skin is red, broken out in acne, and uneven. The before picture of me smiling is what my skin looked like before I tried any Hero cosmetics products – the other side profiles are what my skin looked like afterwords.

No dietary change, hormonal shift, etc. could have caused this. Leaving this review as a cautionary warning to anyone else whose thinking of trying this line of products.

I have been using this product for a few months now. I like that the product is natural and clean using consciously sourced ingredients. I’ve tried many different dark spot removers before as I live in sunny California, and this is the first product that does NOT dry out my combination skin.

Reading and following directions are key with this product. 16 weeks is what it says to allow for the intensive routine. I just finished my 16 weeks last week, and I am completely pleased with the results.

I will now use it for maintenance as the instructions state. Each month it performed better and better, and I saw more and more results. My skin tolerated this well. To the point that in the last 2 months I left it on for 30 minutes which instructions state you can do if your skin can tolerate it; mine could.

I continued to use my AHA/BHA products 1-2x week, and my Tretnoin on alternating nights. There is an evenness to my skin that I haven’t seen in awhile. The few stubborn spots that I had on my face have either mostly faded or completely faded.

This works as well as you work basically. Too many people wait 2 months then say it doesn’t work but the instructions clearly say 16 weeks. As for the smell, it is what all the reviews say, stinky. for me the benefits outweigh that.

I purchased this serum on 4/19/18 and received it fairly quick. I have tried it and I’m loving the feel of it on my face. It does not dry your skin, which is important. It’s lightening my blemishes slowly but I’m more a caramel skin tone but my face is much darker than the rest of my body, so hence the reason it may take longer.

I have used this product faithfully prior to my first TCA peel. It is doing a great job in smoothing my skin and is helping to fade some large liver spots on my forehead. I want to brighten my dark spots on my bikini line and under my arm pits. This body serum treatment caught my attention because after reading the ingredients that’s in it, I can safely say that was the reason that made me wanted to buy it.

Safe from most chemicals and it claims to improve hyper pigmentation in the skin. I bought this in Feb of 2022 and after trying it for a full month (now is April 2022), I haven’t noticed much of an improvement.

At the first week of applying it consecutively everyday, sure my skin looked more supple and maybe a little more even. But then that’s it! Still repeating the same remedy, not much has changed in my skin.

I like the fact that this product is clean from chemicals and it absorbs quickly into my combination skin, however, I wouldn’t buy it again. A suggestion I hope the company can consider is their packaging for this product.

I llooovveeee this jelly booster pigment treatment! It smells Iike baby powder and the baby blue color is so soothing to me. The nsby powder smell alone, will keep me buying this product LOL. I have only been using it a few days on my pits, after I shower, and before I put on my deodorant.

Maybe I am hallucinating but I think I see a very slight improvement in the darkness of my pits, O have had for most of my life. To me it seems that it is a tad thicker than other serums. I also have been using it on my inner thighs where the skin is dark from rubbing together (you know what I am talking about ladies).

I think it looks slightly more even toned and lighter. I am only a quarter way through the bottle, so I am excited to see how it looks when the bottle is finished.

Ok so I bought this on a whim. At first I wasn’t sure what this actually did. I saw on the Facebook page that everyone was using this for different reason. I have been out in the sun a lot and started peeling so I decided to mix this in with the Blueberry Kush Serum and the Pineapple Serum.

OMG!! I have stopped peeling and my skin looks more radiant and even. My underarms are not as dark and it has even helped my uneven tone on my chest. I highly recommend this. Now the smell is almost like a powdery shower smell, which I personally like.

I am writing this review on behalf of my 18 year old son who has been battling severe cystic acne for the last 4 years. I think that he has tried everything there is out there on the market and has gone to the top dermatologists in Canada and USA, had months of acupuncture, medication, Accutane, herbs, facials.

If you haven’t heard or you’re just now browsing about this product, PLEASE BELIEVE THE HYPE LADIES & GENTS! The process started out slow for me. I preferred to ease my way into it. As most products, in MY opinion, should be used following patch testing on your skin.

However when it starts, IT STARTS! I am beyond surprised and pleased. I use this product along with the microneedling tool. My PIH has lifted tremendously using those two together. I do recommend a good moisturizer or hydrating serum to apply afterwards.

The cell turn over is Real. At least for my skin. AA, gold tone in color. Slightly dry but more combination. I hope this helps someone. Cause I LIVE my life almost according to Reviews. Thanks Kerry.

I’ve seen a few bad reviews which makes me wonder if maybe this works better for very fair skin. I am very fair, with rosacea/sensitive skin. It can be a little irritating which tells me it’s very strong.

Also, you don’t need a lot, just like the bottle says. A bottle lasts me 6 months+. I use it every other night, not every day, and I just bought my 3rd bottle in the course of a couple years. I’ve used it all over my body, not just my face, and I’ve seen great improvements.

Some spots did completely go away, some got much lighter. It just depends. It doesn’t smell good either, but I don’t care if it works. I only use it at bedtime because it does leave a dark stain on the area applied (this washes off just fine the next morning).

I’m middle eastern, a man, but the type of ME who gets confused with being greek or italian at times. Anyway. I have dark circles under my eyes. Like, legit dark circles. I’ve been using this as instructed for 30 min each day (versus the 15 min; my skin can tolerate it) and I’ve def seen an improvement.

So if you have hereditary dark circles, and are willing to stick with this for 16 weeks, daily, you will see results for dark circles. They know what they have so they didn’t make it cheap — just ordered second bottle after two months of use; my first one is about a week away from being out.

This entire system can be purchased on this site. My derm initially recommend this system and I’ve had good results as related to decrease in hyperpigmentation and dark spots. The system is most effective when the trio of steps is used together during the initial phase of daily use (12-16 weeks), followed by the maintenance phase (2x’s per week).

I have been using this product for nearly 7 weeks. I had really high hopes after ready all the reviews. I even bought a second tube wishing this product would work for me. I have not seen any changes at all to my hyperpigmentation.

All my life I never suffered from acne – I’ve always had clear skin. It wasn’t until last year when I was 24 that I started experiencing mini breakouts more so around my chin and near my jaw line. I have taken home the milk cleanser and hyaluronic acid serum in which I both absolutely loved! After not really taking care of my skin, I’ve decided to get back into it as a new years resolution using over the counter facial products which I found were just not working for me.

I decided to try the Rhonda Allison Beta Green Tea Cleanser. I have normal to dry skin with stubborn white heads on my nose. This is day number 1 with using this cleanser following the hyaluronic serum AND OMG this stuff is wonders! I feel that most of my white heads are already gone! My skin feels clean, hydrated, smooth with elasticity.

I can’t wait to continue to use this product! Price point is definitely worth it, and I’d recommend this product to anyone.

I absolutely adore this vitamin C serum. I’m on my 3rd bottle and I’m hooked!! But I hate the bottle tho… I love the serum but I hate the bottle because it’s hard to get the serum out and I can’t really pump more than a small pea size amount at each pump… but at the same time, I don’t mind because it’s just the right amount for my serum mix but it’s annoying when it’s running low and I can’t get it all out.

Anyway, I used this serum in conjunction with the Ordinary’s 100% L-Ascorbic Acid Powder to make it extra potent and OMG! It works as this combination fades and clears up my acne scars fast!! The fastest was within a week.

But if you have deep scars or spots, it will take some time. I do felt the burn so some skin types might be more sensitive but I switch up my days where I would use this serum mixed with the L-Ascorbic acid powder for day 1 and then do NuSkin Skin Conditioning Gel the following day, and then do this serum mixture the day after.

So I have alot of post acne marks from hormonal acne and heard good things about this serum and wanted to try it. My skin is combo to dry and very red after my flareups so I’m cautious about trying new things.

I used this for a week at night only and my skin got super super dry, even when I added in a thicker moisturizer. It gave it almost a rough texture, not like a normal dry feeling. The bugger issue though is that the dropper is HORRIBLE.

I tried to tough it out to see if I might push through the dry phase and see results because the texture is really nice but I just can’t stand it. With a $70 product I expect to be able to get it out without issues.

I read reviews that said similar but didn’t think it could be that bad, but it is, and there is a plastic piece in the top that looks like it would make a huge mess if you tried to pour it into your hand (which would probably waste a ton as well).

If it was a cheaper serum I would suck it up but I returned it and will be looking for something else.

First, I do like the consistency of this product, it is quite thick for a serum but not enough for a cream. It absorbs well, is not greasy, and does not break me out. I have only used it three nights so I can’t rate on the effectiveness of the product but I feel pretty strongly regarding the packaging that buyers should know before paying this much.

I am giving this two stars solely on the packaging and dropper. After 3 days of use, I can tell that there will be significant product wasted, Since it is thicker than a serum, the product sits on the walls of the container so I will never be able to reach that product.

The bottle is too wide for the little amount of product because the dropper doesn’t reach the bottom of the pot so it does not pick up the three drops the instructions recommend, it picks up about 1 drop.

It is actually quite difficult and frustrating to use knowing that most of this will be wasted. Even if this worked 100%, I would not repurchase until the packaging is improved.
