20 Best Skin Products For Blackheads (2023 Updated)

For all the teens who grew up in the 90’s 2000’s, these are the Biore patches of the future and they’re WAY more effective! I realize that they’re completely different products but both give you the satisfaction of seeing the strips get all of the gross stuff out of your pores.

Peace Out’s products are the only ones that can legitimately make my breakouts disappear over night. To get the most out of the strips, I first cut them so that they’ll perfectly fit my face and the areas that I’m applying them to.

Also, I’m applying the strips to fairly clean (but not freshly exfoliated) dry skin about an hour before bed. In that hour before I go to sleep, I sporadically apply pressure smooth out the strips to make sure there’s no air bubbles and they’re fully attached.

Then in the morning I carefully remove the strips, starting with the most delicate areas. Of course I try to avoid the skin under my eyes but sometimes the nose strips make it impossible to avoid. So if a strip is near that area I make sure to put my finger on the skin “anchor it” before slowly removing it.

Btw in the pic, the white spots on the strip is all of the oil gunk it removed/absorbed after being left on overnight. Although there aren’t any products that can shrink your pores because that’s genetic, these strips do a great job cleaning them out smoothing out my skin texture.

Also, as a side note, I have fairly sensitive skin but these have not every burned or irritated my skin.

I had to trim this a bit. My nose isn’t extremely small or anything but i had to trim it some to fit and around my nostrils it was not sticking as tight. I expected it to stick like their pimple patches witch I absolutely love.

I did sleep in it so it was at least 6 hours and it did help remove some of the light blackheads I always have but it was more like the pimple patch that collect oils than a patch that actually pulls the blackheads out.

If you have a regular pimple like a whitehead or an inflamed pimple I believe this would be great considering the circle shaped can be hard to use on a nose. I did not use the strip ones yet but assume they would work well on a large area of breakouts.

This brand is my go to for emergency pimple {white head or red bump type} issue. Normally overnight the pimple will disappear.

I’ve tried a lot of cleansing balms. The green best seller, the zero Ulta best seller, Clinique (which is a close 2nd to this) and the inebriated wildlife. This one is my favorite for several reasons.

First, it rinses clean. 2nd, the texture is easy to spread and you don’t need much to melt off the day. I use a very thick sunscreen from a medical brand and it is easily removed by this. The BHA is a nice touch, but AHA/BHA need to be on the skin for about 10-15 minutes to work.

But I like that it doesn’t break me out. I use this as a first step in a double cleanse. I follow with CeraVe cream to foam cleanser and my skin feels great afterwards.

This cleansing balm is a soft, sorbet texture that melts with ease on the skin. I find that it does a great job removing makeup, especially stubborn eye makeup like mascara and eyeliner. I don’t wear waterproof makeup, so I cannot attest to how it works for that!⁣ ⁣ The overall cleansing experience with this balm is nice and easy.

Not only does it break down makeup, but it also provides a gentle exfoliation with the Lactic and Glycolic acids. This balm also emulsifies well when mixed with water. It washes off without leaving a film, and reveals clean skin.

⁣ ⁣ My only small complaint would be that this can be slightly drying (I think due to the AHAs), especially if you are following up with a second cleanse. If you plan on using another exfoliant in your routine afterwards, just beware that with this, you are doubling up on exfoliants! My skin never experienced irritation from this though.

I LOVEEEE this balm. I have been using cleansing balms for about 4 years and have tried a few others that I liked, but I gave this one a try because I was trying to incorporate more BHA in my routine to target my blackheads.

First of all, I really like this consistency. I’m very particular about that and this consistency is similar to my other preferred balm by heimish, BUT it is also SOOO effective at clearing up blackheads.

I’ve been using it for about 3 weeks and my blackheads have cleared up more than they have with any product I’ve ever used. I had been using topical salycilic acid and it wasn’t doing the trick so I tried a salycilic acid cleanser but found it way too drying, so then I tried this and the difference is very noticeable.

I won’t say my blackheads are completely eradicated, I think that’s an unrealistic expectation, but they are so much less than my usual!!! I’m very very pleased with this purchase.

BONAJOUR GREEN TEA AHA PEELING GEL I didn’t realize this had AHA in it. I love these type of exfoliaters and they have always been marketed as being gentle and were. I assumed this was as well. Assume is where I went wrong.

(I even learned about the word assume when working in sales years ago)(LOL) I should’ve done my research, or at least paid attention to the title lol. I washed and dried my face then started to apply it.

It felt like others that I had used,but it balled up very quickly which made me skeptical. I thought it might not be exfoliating and it might be the product. BOY was I wrong. Like the genius I was that day,I decided to apply it again.

It still balled up quickly,but not as quick. I did this before with similar products. Anyway, I rinsed my face with cold water, then applied my serum and my face was on fire which lasted 3 days. THIS WAS COMPLETELY MY FAULT.

Nothing has ever gotten rid of the tiny white bumps under my lower lip. But this took care of them in one go. Its so smooth now. I am extremely skin sensitive and this didnt make me break out or anything.

Saw that this was on clearance at Ulta and I loved how cute this was, so I thought, hey, why not give this a try? Plus, I’ve always heard great things about Korean beauty products so I thought that this might be a really great product.

This was my first time trying a black head mask where you peel it off. I actually thought this was pretty good. The areas that I used it on felt cleaner and a lot smoother. It didn’t really get those deep down blackheads, but it cleared away a lot of the tiny little white heads and a few black heads.

Disclaimer. read directions properly and do not apply over any hairs lol. I went over a little fuzzy patch and it wasn’t as pleasant to peel off in that area. Over all though, I liked it, and came off smoothly.

this mandelic acid for chemical peel makes the biggest difference for me here. A friend of mine was using it and let me try. I am using it to address my whiteheads and larger pores. I never had many blackheads in the first place.

I believe whiteheads turn to black ones. The peel slowly cleaned my whiteheads but I did not want to use it too strong. I followed the instructions for the final solution I used finally. I don’t want it to be too strong for my first time.

A mud mask would do the same job.

I tried every astringent, mask, pore strip, expensive pore vacuum, steamer and acne wash known to man. I could never clear white heads and black heads on chin and all over nose. I have (genetic) huge pores on my nose.

They have terrible white heads. I had to use painful needle sharp tools to scrape them off leaving my nose bloody and swollen. They were so bad , if I smushed my nose down a little or side to side they would all pour out by the dozens.

No matter how clean i kept my face , the disgusting white heads stayed. I gave up till I took a chance on this after researching products on google. The white heads disappeared in 3 to 4 days of initial use.

I smush my nose to look for them and nothing is there! It also works as a zit treatment and even fades the dark spots from my terrible blemishes that used to stay on my face for a month after i had a zit Warning though! It says not to use with retinol products at same time.

Also!! You have to use it religiously for results!! Once in morning and once before bed! I don’t personally use over entire face. I only spot treated problem zones. If I forget to use it even one day the white heads will return little by little.

So if anyone says this doesn’t work, I would question their consistency of using it because you cant take a break and expect the pores to stay clear. Also. If you cake make up on every day, your results might not be as good as mine or others.

I stopped using foundation and use tinted moisturizer and powder. A lot of days , I dont wear anything but moisturizer. So, this probably helps the process and I have less stuff clogging my pores.
