Absolutely love this oil! It definitely takes some getting used to, my skin reacted a little at first but once you get past the “reset” stage, this product is amazing. It really depends on your skin though, I’ve heard it took some people an entire month before the product actually worked for them.

It took me around ten days and my skin loved it. I like the scent, when I put it on my face it feels like I’m at the spa but I think scents are definitely a hit or miss. Why I love this product though is that its very multipurpose, from a cleanser to moisturizer, face to body, it just works.

I would recommend though if you use it as a moisturizer to just make sure your hands are wet before you pump the oil into your hands that way the oil glides more evenly and you won’t over apply. I know a lot of people use this to clear up acne but I do not have severe acne so I cannot vouch for that but it does make my skin nice and smooth.

It is also made with natural ingredients so if clean beauty is your thing then give it a try.

I’ve pretty much changed all my skincare, make up and hair products to more natural products. I love reading the good ingredients this haves. I literally used this day and night as cleanser( if I’m not wearing makeup) and as moisturizer.

My skin is prone to break out since 15years ago. This has not break me out, it has healed my skin. I have no more cystic acne after using it. It sounds crazy since I have used TONSSS of different brands to help heal my skin but this.

I do nothing else to my skin. I’ve shared this with family and friends and they’ve purchased the product for themselves after trying mine. I also love the smell. It smells like I walked into a spa. If you don’t like that smell you can always try others.

This has replaced all my products! Oh and the way I use it is I use the oil on wet face then I wipe it off with a warm and wet rag and that’s literally it. If I feel like I need a bit more moisture then I apply a small amount after I wipe it away with the rag and leave it on.

Trust me you’ll love it! Also give it like a week or 2. Don’t expect to see a change overnight even though I did (to some extent of course). Also my face is flowing. Here’s a pic of my skin. No makeup or anything else for that matter.

I use this product every morning. Depending on how my skin is, and if it’s too dry I may use it at night too. It took a few days of consecutive use for my skin to get used to the heaviness of this oil.

I definitely notice a lack of luster and evenness in my skin tone on the days I didn’t use it. I was religiously using for months and stopped using for a few weeks and noticed my redness became worse.

I picked up the product again and my redness lessened. I did notice it works best layered under moisturizers. I Will continue to keep this in my morning skincare routine from now on.

I was excited to find this product because safflower oil is supposed to be helpful in treating dark spots (melasma), and rose hip oil is great for almost any skin type. The oil absorbs easily so it doesn’t leave skin greasy.

However, every time I applied this oil, I got a pimple. I’m normally not prone to pimples and have used other face oils, so this was disappointing for me. It’s possible that this oil combined with the summer heat/humidity is what led to the pimples.

So I’ll wait til the fall/winter to try the oil again.

I use this with my daily routine. I work in biomedical medicine so we aren’t allowed to wear makeup to work. This gives my skin a glow when I can’t wear makeup or don’t feel like it. However, when I am wearing makeup, I skip this.

It doesn’t do well under foundation. (I have oily skin).

I am 75 and do all I can to preserve my mind and body. I suffered bad irritation and inflammation on my neck from use of too strong retinol products. Nothing seemed to ease stinging, redness and scaly dryness to my previously normal neck.

I like it a lot. The smell has a fish oil smell, just like my favorite face cream from Biotherm did. So, I was happy to learn Sibu made similar product. I tried as a hand cream, and it works better than Uriage hand cream.

For the legs it is perfect. My skin felt dry. Live in the desert in high elevation. It smooths the skin well. I feel layer on my hands, but don’t feel uncomfortable on the rest of the body.

I always follow the Exfoliating Facial Cleanser with a healthy dose of the Sea Buckthorn Facial Cream. It is a fairly thick facial cream that is easily absorbed and leaves my face feeling soft, supple, and healthy.

It calms my sometimes unfriendly skin and I really, really love this stuff! I also really love the airless packaging. It dispenses the perfect amount of moisturizer every single time! It feels quite nice once it dries and doesn’t leave my face feeling sticky or overloaded at all.

It leaves my skin feeling comfortable for a really long time. It also doesn’t look at all shiny and instead leaves my skin feeling semi-matte but still glowing. I’m not really sure how I can look both matte and glowing at the same time but I’m really digging the results! Did I just say digging? I wish I had a bigger bottle!.

It is light and just a little bit help to keep your face moisturized. Most of all I like the natural ingredients. I would like to have it with more ounces.

This is the best moisturizer, it absorbs quickly, sets very well under makeup. I highly recommend this moisturizer, the sea buckthorn is good for rosacea skin. The price is fair considering all the really good stuff in it.

I will buy again and again this is really good stuff for all skin types. No greasiness at all. The only down fall is the size 1oz and with the pump type bottle you cannot see how much you have left. The pump is great, just wish I could see product in the bottle I use 2 pumps for my face everyday.

I order ahead with a backup so I do not run out!.

Not only is SIBU a blessing of this “holy fruit of the Himalayas†to the rest of the world but I can see this oil being the game-changer in the beauty world. Again, it is the 100% T7…aka the Omega 7 (sea buckthorn or sea berry) experience for me.

In the last 3 years, I have been researching and experimenting with different topical organic oils for dry skin, hair, and scalp. I became obsessed with using Jamaican Black Castor oil, yet I will now be adding this oil to my collection.

I love that this oil 100% organic as it is sourced through fair-trade and no fillers added. For my body/face/scalp: I added 2-4 drops in my body wash and body butter. It left my skin feeling extra soft, supple, and renewed look.

Also, added drops in my hair masks for an added nutrient booster to help regenerate my scalp, calms the itchiness, aids in dryness (as I always suffered from the dry, flaky scalp and it is recovering from chemo/radiation), and restore shine/luster to the hair.

I love how well this oil works for my skin. It’s healing & moisturizing, perfect for my 62 yr problematic, extremely sensitive (compromised skin barrier), melasma, acne scarred, previously oily skin.

I used to use Retin-A & any product I thought would help my skin. I stopped using Retin-A, cleansers, & toners. I now use this oil with organic, raw Rosehip Oil & Styrian Pumpkin Seed Oil. Over this, I apply Cica Relief Cream.

I bought this oil because I was curious, but I felt certain it would leave a shiny, goopy finish on my normal/combo skin. Fearful of goop, I first tested it on my hair. I dispensed about a half pump into my palm and applied to my very dry ends, and then I “cleaned” my palms on the backs of my hands.

The oil disappeared immediately, leaving my translucent, crumpled-tissue-paper skin plumped and smooth. I immediately washed and dried my face and then applied another half pump to my face with the same happy result.

Excellent face oil. I love the smell which is very mild,thankfully !! I gently rub on my face after I use the Badger face oil wash. They work well together. My face is so smooth and dry flakes (gross) are gone.

Good for dry skin, suitable for normal skin in winter. With very interesting vegetable oils, as pomegranate and seabuckthorn oils, nourish skin. Lavender and geramium essential oils calms, and the citric one helps to fight against opaque face.

If you wish moisture, spray some rose water for example just before apply the oil and massage for 1 minute. It’s not very heavy, so many of us can use this face oil in the morning too, but remember, you need to use sunscreen if you apply it in the morning, always.

If your skin is really sensitive, Damascus rose face oil is a better option, but that one doesn’t get a luminous skin. I prefer rose oil but I also enjoy this one very much, and ingredients are great too.

And this one is a bit cheaper.

I began using the One and Done Oil, the facial bar, and the Everything Serum last year after being diadnosed with rosacea. My doctor had prescribed an antibiotic cream (which was horribly expensive) and I didnt like the idea of coating my face for months in medicine.

After researching alternative remedies online, I found Vitamin C, D, and aloe to be most recommended in ingredients to treat my symptoms, which by this point had been a year of breakouts from cheek to jaw and redness.

After a month of using the products I saw a reduction in breakouts and a slight reduction in redness. However after 3 months, my symptoms were dramtically improved, and by 6 months entirely gone. I love the ingredients and the simplicity of the regime required to reap the benefits.

I have been on a search for almost a year to have a more simple facial regimen. I think I found it! The soap suds very easily and cleanses my face so well. Sometimes, after I wash my make up off, I’ll test it to see how clean it is with a cotton pad and rose water.

So far it has passed the test every time. Cotton pad clean✅ I had been using another brand of sea buckthorn oil and loved it so this brand did not disappoint. It softens my skin so well and I rub what’s left on my hands into my cuticles and tops of my hands.

It’s only been 3 weeks since I started using these products but I can already tell I will be reordering. I was afraid the small size of each would not last long but it’s still going strong.

I have been double cleansing with this product for about two weeks now and have seen a tremendous improvement in my moisture barrier. Also, it helps pull all the nasty stuff out of my face and I love that I can feel the plugs coming onto my hands as I massage my face, that is the best part as you never experience this with a regular face cleanser.

I make sure to wipe away and excess oil with dampened and wronged cotton rounds and then cleanse once more with my regular cleanser, then get on with my routine of serums and moisturizer. My pics speak for themselves in such a short amount of time! Love this product.

The only downside is that it’s a bit pricey and I feel like I will go through it fairly quickly and have to keep repurchasing more often (only reason for the 4 ⭐️ ‘s) first pic is the most recent. I love the smell but my husband doesn’t like it. It’s not too thick or too light. The color gives your skin a subtle healthy glow. It can be used as a makeup remover, cleanser, moisturizer and on your full body (love a multi-use product!).

i was introduced to Seabuckthorn through my aesthetician. So when I found this I was very excited! I couldn’t ask for a better moisturizer; it isn’t greasy or oily(even in the summer), it seals in the moisture and reduces the redness in my cheeks.

it smells good and doesn’t clog my pores. The vegan, chemical-free formula makes a noticeable difference in the texture of my skin. Only pitfall is no SPF.

Definitely think this moisturizer is good because it absorbs immediately, and my skin loves it. However, as my skin is drying out from winter and aging; I need something heavier. I do reapply this cream often; and when I wake in the night; I reapply again.

I will look for a heavier cream to use in conjunction with this.

Cream is very absorbing and non greasy. Due to my extreme dryness I add a drop of rose hip oil in w/ my dollop of daily cream. I load up extra at night under areas that need extra like around my eyes and line around my mouth.

I’m very satisfied w/ the results.

It is to early for me to tell if it does anything to diminish wrinkles but it feels good on my skin. Also, I use Piping Rock’s Vitamin C Serum on my face at night, which has always left my face kind of sticky.

Now I apply this Sea Buckthorn Nourishing Cream over the Vitamin C and my face is not sticky plus it is soft even the next day when I wake up. I think this will be excellent cream.

I am actually reviewing the Sibu sea berry therapy face serum. I think this serum is a little too light for my liking. I decided to try it out since it’s a natural product without chemicals with hyaluronic acid which is supposed to provide deep hydration and stimulate collagen.

I’m not too sure if I see any effects and I’m not too sure if it did anything for me. Felt a little dry on my still as it goes away really fast and I generally like the feeling of my face feeling soft but this one made it feel dry instead.

There’s not too many reviews out there, it’s questionable but I got it since I wanted to try different types of natural products. I have combination skin and I’m thinking this product might work for someone with oily skin type more.

The bottle itself is cute and I like it on my skincare rack collection nevertheless.

In this instance, the term “nourishing” is very misleading. This is a topically-applied moisturizer. No topical lotion or cream penetrates more than a few skin cells deep–the results will only last about 24 hours, or until you wash it off.

I personally am highly sensitive to topically applied alcohol, and I try to avoid it in every skincare product I buy. (The biggest culprits are toners, colognes and many acne products. ) I decided to try this cream; it hasn’t bothered my skin, but the SIBU serum WAS too harsh and irritated my skin (it probably has more alcohol in it than the cream.

) SD Alcohol (a form of ethanol) is poison. It’s purpose is to kill bacteria cells. In the process, it damages and/or inflames our own skin cells. Alcohol will often inflame or worsen ANY skin condition–even acne.

Its use should be minimized. We cannot actually “disinfect” healthy skin. Skin cells are grown from the inside out. A new skin cells takes at least 6 weeks from it’s inception in the dermis to reach the surface of your face or body.

In an older person like myself, the growth of a skin cell may take longer–8 or more weeks. A healthy diet and/or use of supplements may not really make a difference in your appearance for several months.

The primary product I’ve been buying from SIBU has been the Sea Buckthorn capsules (taken orally. ) However, the SIBU company is often out of the capsules. The SIBU Sea Buckthorn puree is bitter and almost unpalatable.

The SIBU juice blend is harsh and it began to bother my stomach–I have digestive problems and am sensitive to fructans. Certain fruits and vegetables are hard for me to digest; it’s age-related. So I had to stop using the juice blend as well.

This facial lotion is simply a very ordinary LIGHT moisturizer. There are thousands of skincare and cosmetic companies out there, and a health food or supplement producer shouldn’t necessarily advertise its topical products as being superior.

The important thing in skincare is really to eliminate irritating ingredients. Many people are sensitive to botanicals, like lavender–it’s not necessarily a plus. I give credit to SIBU for using a sealed pump-style bottle rather than jar packaging.

An open jar will encourage bacterial growth in the contents–applies to any cream or lotion–if you use products from a jar, it is best not to share it with others. For anyone who wants to transition to natural skincare products, without a lot of chemical additives, please be aware that these products will begin to break down and spoil as soon as you open the container.

Use them up! If a product changes in appearance or begins to smell funny, toss it out. I simply cannot give this product a rave review. At my age, I’d prefer a more emollient product, especially for overnight use.

I wish SIBU would stick to its excellent Sea Buckthorn supplement capsules and not try to go into skincare. (I can get Sea Buckthorn oil from another company, but it is not meant to ingest. ) These SIBU skin care products are simply not worth the money, IMO–they can’t live up to all the hype.

This cream has been my go-to for close to 20 years. It’s moisturizing, but disappears into the skin, leaving a lovely ‘skin’ feel. I have sensitivity around my eyes especially. Fragrance makes them tear, and I get spontaneous hives, plus occasional eczema.

This cream was recommended to me years ago for those reasons and I’ll be using it as long as it’s available.

First lotion that I absolutely love! This very gentle, slightly citrus scented lotion spreads very far with just a small bit, and it absorbs quickly into the skin on my face and neck without any residue.

I also love that it seems to even out the color of my facial skin (take redness down) and calm inflammation (redness or breakouts) of my face overall. I use the seabuckthorn facial soap first and then I apply a very thin layer of this lotion.

It’s hard to believe that just a small amount of lotion can make my face feel and look so much better. I take it with me on every trip because I hate not having it even one night. My son is 13, and he started using it for his face because he was breaking out on his forehead.

After just 2-3 applications, he noticed a huge difference in the way his face felt, and now he uses it every night.

I been using the facial serum for years now. In the morning I feel special having such a nice product to use first thing in the morning getting ready for my day. Years in the sun & having sun spots & more wrinkles coming in, this serum really helped me look younger & slowed the aging.

I notice because I like trying other products, but always come back to the product Sibu’s facial serum & lotion.

This is a great body oil. I used this all over my body after having an evening shower. Weleda Sea Buckthorn Replenishing Body Oil Makes my dry skin feel super hydrated and healthy. My skin usually gets super dry during winter so this is a god sent.

I’ve gifted one bottle to my mother and she loves it too. Helps keep your skin supple and hydrated. Big win for me. My husband use this body oil to massage my back as well and it’s amazing and can be used as a massage oils as well.

This is an amazing product and if you read the other reviews I endorse them all. It is the best body oil and I mix it in my hand with a squeeze of sea buckthorn body lotion which means it is easier to spread all over my body and I even use it on my face after being in the sun or have dry patches on my cheeks and never get breakouts on my chin which normally happens with any other face oils.

The smell is divine – the best in Weleda’s range of products and I always get asked what perfume I am wearing! Buy it – you will be hooked!.

I love SIBU’s Moisturizing Body Cream. It has a light citrus scent while applying. It is very effective at healing and maintaining the integrity of my skin’s moisture barrier while softening and smoothing the skin.

Due to my past experience with the amazing effectiveness of sea buckthorn berries and sea buckthorn oil, I am very fond of these source ingredients being used in SIBU’s skincare products. I highly recommend this body cream for healthy, silky smooth skin.

I love this and have been using it for awhile. It absorbs into my skin and leaves it moisturized for hours even in the winter. I am not surprised it is often sold out. GREAT product.

Okay so I bought this originally as a facial oil — to use on my acne scar-ridden and inflamed face. Didn’t work very well for me. Just caused me to break out more. So I shelved it for awhile. Fast forward to an evening in the kitchen when I nick myself on the potato peeler, as I always do.

My thumb is bleeding bleeding bleeding. I wash it, rinse it, bandaid and forget about it. That night I remember when I was considering buying this product, I googled ‘sea buckthorn. ‘ I remember mention of ~healing properties~ etc etc.

I decide to Google it again and to see if it can be used on an open cut/wound. Lo and behold I found an NIH study done in which researchers burned mice (!! poor mice!) and used sea buckthorn to heal the burns.

I grabbed the vile from the shelf and dabbed in onto my cut. It gave me near-instant relief from the throbbing (it didn’t take the pain totally away but just gave some comfort) and after 2 days, applying twice a day, it’s nearly totally healed.

Which was great news because that evening, I accidentally sliced into my index finger. All this is to say, I have a new purpose for this oil, I 100% understand why the company probably can’t market this product for this purpose, but know this is a wonderful little healing oil.

I also used it on a burn my husband got while using the cast iron pan. A+ little healing oil. (Note: I would dig a little further into research if you want to use this on anything more than a superficial burn/wound).

This is the second bottle I have purchased. I usually use it right after I exfoliate my skin with a skin scrubs. I do feel it has some anti-inflammatory and promoting healing effects. I also apply it to my husband face where he has a few patches of eczema.

It works very well in preventing flares. I have been a loyal customers of Chagrin Valley since I discovered the company 9 years ago. All my skin and hair care products are from them, including face cream, hair shampoo bars, body bars, body cream, lip balm, herbal salve for feet, etc.

I do not use any other commercial products at all since then. I have to say my skin and hair benefit from these products greatly. I also have introduced many of my friends to these products. They are like me, once start using them, they immediately fall in love and stay with them.

I purchased this facial oil recently, trying to avoid giving more money to Jeff Bezos. Facial skin feels great since I began using it. It’s only been a couple of weeks, but so far the results are positive.

It isn’t has heavily slick as most of the facial oils I’ve used, which I appreciate. I also greatly approve of the work Hive does to produce and ship their products in a socially and environmentally positive way.

Biggest drawback by far is the coloration. It has an orange-yellow tinge to it, similar to the numbing ointment they apply to your arm before drawing blood. If you leave it on as is, your skin looks Trump-ish – I wait a few minutes after application, then rinse my face with a VERY small amount of warm water.

The color goes away, but my skin remains moisturized.
