20 Best Skin Ever Oil Cleanser (2023 Updated)

I’ve been using this cleanser for 6-7 years now and I will not wash my face with anything else. Every once in a blue moon, I’ve used a normal cleanser and it just feels like it strips my skin after using this product for so long.

The oils keep my skin hydrated and soft. My delicate under eye skin stays soft. I can already tell this is going to be my long-term secret to great skin as I age. I turn 33 next month and I’m already so thankful this product found it’s way into my daily routine.

There’s nothing else like it! Every time I use a hot damp wash cloth to take it off, it feels like a spa experience.

Love this natural, organic oil cleanser for my face. I can actually feel dirt being removed with the Seabuckthorn oil. Easy to warm a washcloth and wipe off. My face feels smooth,soft and extra clean.

I use 4 pumps on my face. I also enjoy the packaging with the Badger mascot. he’s so cute !! I will continue to use Badger products on my 60 year (old) “young” face. Also like the fact Badger cares about the environment in the production of all the products they create and sell.

I like the ingredients of this product and appreciate the fact that it doesn’t contain harmful chemicals. However, performance is important to me too and this product does not meet my expectation. Judging from the price, I thought it would be a high-quality, lightweight, pure oil but it turns out quite heavy and very greasy.

Don’t get me wrong, I know it is 100% oil so I didn’t expect it to wash off easily like those quasi-oils mixed with chemicals that turn cloudy when they touch water. However, this cleansing oil is just too hard to wash off.

As a morning cleanser, it’s tolerable since you can soak up the oil with tissues before washing it off and it does leave your skin conditioned and moisturized. But, as a make-up remover, it just isn’t ideal.

Yes, it will remove your makeup and mineral sunscreen BUT it is EXTREMELY hard to wash off. When you try to wash everything (oil and makeup/mineral sunscreen) with warm water, your skin becomes so tacky and leaves a heavy film behind.

Even after I follow with a good foaming cleanser, my skin remains tacky and I can see a film on top of my skin that just repels water. I also got more acne after using this cleanser for less than 5 times! I think it could be because it fails to cleanse my skin so my pores are getting clogged.

This product gives me an unpleasant experience. I have used a high-quality cleansing oil before so I can tell the difference. I have never returned a product by mail before but I just don’t want to use it anymore.

This is significant. This happened when the branding changed. It made me wonder whether the glass bottle only came in a smaller size – but instead of reducing the price you chose to keep the price and exploit loyal customers – thus losing some in the process.

This oil is lovely to use – smells beautiful and slips on the skin easily. Good at removing makeup & spf, only four stars due to first cleanse still leaving mascara residue but second cleanse with the oil removes completely.

Nice to use as a morning cleanse too because it’s a light oil and it does become milky if emulsified so no issues with removal (also removed using flannel without adding water and still comes off lovely).

Skin feels soft and clean after removal. The smaller bottle doesn’t last a long time however and for the price I would expect it to as I feel I have to use 4-6 pumps of product for my face. Despite this I will defo be re-purchasing as I think it’s a brilliant oil that can easily be used everyday.

I’ve tried various cleansing oils and wanted a new one to take on holiday. Package is fab and you can lock the plunger and pop it back in for travelling. That worked really well. Does it work? Absolutely! I wear makeup and waterproof mascara and it takes it off beautifully, without stripping your skin.

Feels fantastic and I would definitely recommend. Sometimes when it’s a new product for you, you have to cross your fingers that it does what it says. but rest assured, it does. Fabulous product ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️.

I got this as a gift a while back and instantly fell in love! I was hesitant to repurchase because of the high price but I find it lasts me a long time (at least 3 or 4 months?) It is so worth it! I am on my 3rd bottle.

I use it in the evening and 1 pump is usually enough. It has a wonderful texture and scent, goes on smooth and to me smells clean/herbal/floral but not too overwhelming. I massage it into my skin for a couple of minutes, its very relaxing.

I always feel bits of oil and gunk release from my pore as I massage which is awesome. I find I don’t need to double cleanse when using this. It removes my minimal makeup very well and leaves my skin feeling clean but smooth, moisturized, soft and ready for the rest of my skincare routine.

Many face washes leave my skin irritated and dry but not this one. I have dry, somewhat sensitive, breakout prone skin with some redness and this product works wonderfully. As long as I can afford this cleanser it will be my forever product.

The price is steep but it’s sooo worth it. The texture of this cleaner is like silk and it really feels like my skin is soaking in all the rich vitamins from the oil. It takes off anything, including make up and sunscreen.

And the best part is that it washes clean off with water, no need to wipe off with a cloth! And after rinsing clean my skin feels moisturized and (no residue!) ready for the next step in my routine. Sometimes in the evening I follow it with Tata’s clarifying cleanser when my skin is feeling congested but in the morning I use this cleanser on it’s own.

I’ve literally tried dozens of oil cleaners and this one is still the best and the one I always come back to!.

Love this oil cleanser! Tried a sample of this product and instantly fell in love with it. It did a wonderful job of removing liquid eye liner in a gentle effective way. It feels so nice on the skin as you massage it in.

When you wash it off it does not leave your skin feeling greasy but rather clean and soft. I bought a full size so I am now relieved I won’t run out of it anytime soon as I was nursing that sample bottle like no ones business.

The only thing better you could do is warm the product for a more luxurious spa-like experience. The Tata mini fridge for Tata’s products is what I am eyeing next to elevate all my wonderful Tata gems!.

For me, this is an amazing cleansing oil. A small amount dissolves all my makeup thoroughly and leaves my very sensitive skin, feeling soft, hydrated and clean. It doesn’t burn my eyes when removing mascara.

I use another medical grade cleanser in the morning, just as a personal preference, but could use the PCA oil too. The only “but” is the the pump gets stuck sometimes. Otherwise, even the packaging is beautiful! Thanks to my Licensed Aesthetician, I’ve found another great science backed product.

I’ve been using this oil for a little over a year. I have oily, acne prone skin so a cleansing oil seemed counterintuitive to me but I’m so glad I tried it. An esthetician explained to me that the oil kind of pulls/attracts the oil from your face and keeps it from over-producing.

My face always feels clean and super soft. I use it for cleansing and for makeup remover. Not a brand loyal gal in the slightest but I think I will always use this product.

I love using this for double cleansing to remove makeup and sunscreen. I have combination acne prone skin, but this has not caused any breakouts. On the occasional day when my skin feel dry in the morning, sometimes I will only wash with this and follow-up with a moisturizer and sunscreen.

This product is perfect. I love the scent, how clean my skin is, and how bright my complexion looks when I use it. I e always had oily skin but using this and the facial oil has really made my skin much more balanced.

Background: I’m in my early 70’s and hadn’t been following any regimen except sun screens, which didn’t work well. Since starting the Kit several weeks ago, my skin is definitely less wrinkled and the brown spots are fading.

I have drier skin now that I’m 49 and couldn’t find a cleanser that would clean my skin and moisturize at the same time. I heard about cleansing oils and thought I would try Skin Actives brand because I am very happy with the products I already use from them.

So far I love the oil cleanser. My makeup is minimal (little concealer and powder) but it does seem to clean off the makeup and sunscreen. My face has moisture, plumpness, and elasticity after rinsing.

I still use a moisturizer after cleaning. For extra cleaning I tried the oil cleanser then the creamy facial cleanser and the double cleanse works great. I will continue to purchase.

I have very sensitive skin and can’t tolerate traditional soap on my body or face. It took me a long time to find this amazing skin cleansing oil that doesn’t contain fragrance and doesn’t dry my skin, yet removes makeup and cleanses dirt very well.

There are other cleansing oils out there, but nothing like this. This is the only cleanser I’ll ever use.

I have been using the Badger’s cleansing oil before this one. Badger’s is very good IMO, I switch to this one just because this is cheaper and I just wanna try out something new. This one is good too cleanses well and everything works just like the Badger’s, however the consistency of this one is less watery/ oily/ spreadable(?) than the Badger’s one.

It feels a tad bit thicker but it works just as good! But I prefer a glass bottle like the Badger’s instead of this plastic bottle.

Literally, the best cleanser I have ever used. I have sensitive, dry and oily, and hormonally acne prone skin. I am also aging. so this stuff is amazing. Use hot water with it for a super deep clean and use cooler water to retain more moisture.

My skin hasn’t been this supple and clear for over 10 years.

Sensitive Skin Cleansing Oil is a must-have for anyone concerned with daily upkeep of older skin. I have used this product for several years and I feel my 68 year old skin is as good as it can be. It wasn’t until my late 30s that I determined my breakouts were from dry “combination” skin, and not from oily, acne-prone skin. I first tried the moisture positive cleanser from Bioelements, and that improved my skin so much! But, at times it was too rich and seemed to clog my skin a bit.

That’s when I tried this Bioelements cleanser for sensitive skin. It’s perfect! It does not leave skin oily, and it is perfect all year round. No strong fragrance. I could never live without it! I actually use it on damp skin, though it says to use it dry first.

It may take some getting used to not feeling a stripping, astringing, soap type wash, but for me, it was a skin-changing miracle!.

I love this cleanser. It removes the makeup and cleanses without drying my skin. Leaves my skin feeling soft and clean. The one thing that keeps me from giving five stars is the packaging. It leaks! No matter how many times I wipe the bottle down, it always leaves a smear of oil on everything.

It did the same thing in the old packaging (glass bottle). It’s very frustrating especially for traveling.

I have combination skin with congested pores and some areas of red irritation on my face. I wanted a gentle cleanser and tried a sample of Montana Harvest with my regular shampoo bar purchase. I couldn’t believe an oil could leave my skin feeling clean, but it does.

Be sure to follow the directions. The red areas have disappeared and my pores aren’t clogged. Highly recommend!.

I recently got the Omega Oil Cleanser in a sample with an order I just placed and ended up loving it so much I immediately made another order to get the full size. I historically do not love oil cleansers, because I honestly felt like they never removed all of my makeup like they claimed, or if they did, my pores were left clogged because the product was so heavy, but not with this oil cleanser.

It genuinely removes all my makeup, even my eye makeup and it doesn’t irritate my eyes, and my skin is left so soft, supple, and hydrated. I still use a moisturizer after this, but it helps me use less of my moisturizer because my face doesn’t feel stripped at all! This just became a staple product for me.

One of the best oil cleansers I have tried! I’ve been using the Pai oil cleanser. and let me just say. This one is 100 time better. And it actually rinses clean unlike some brands. The only thing I’m not the biggest fan of is the scent.

It smells like lemongrass. But it’s just a personal preference. So it’s not gonna lose a star for that.

This oil cleanser is in my top picks!! I have about 5 oil cleansers that I rotate and I always reach for this as one of my favorite’s!! It removes everything!! It cleans out my pores and feels so great.

It’s a medium oil in my opinion. not too heavy but not too light. and I feel my skin looks great every time I use this. super clean but does not dry my skin out. very light natural scent!! And some evening’s I will apply and just let it soak in while I take a bubble bath!! And I’ve never had any problems with doing this.

I always double cleanse and was looking for a highly effective first step. I prefer oils to balms and this has such high reviews, I wanted to give it a try! Unfortunately, its going back. If this were $10 I’d be disappointed, but for $35 I’m shocked by all of the good reviews; for the price, it should be incredible, and its just not.

I find myself rubbing/scrubbing way more than with other oils, and STILL end up with leftover waterproof makeup under my eyes every time I use this. Again, its not horrible, but given the price, I was expecting a much better performance.

I’m obsessed with like cleansers. Why don’t people tell you about them as soon as you start wearing makeup? This one’s one of my favorites. I love how it melts all of my waterproof mascara and leaves my face feeling all sorts of clean and NOT dry or stripped of all moisture.

This stuff!! Doesn’t seem like much, smells light, hint of lavender, feel light, but, after about a year before writing this review, it improves your skin. I’ve slept with it on (being lazy), I’ve often put in on at home as a good for your skin kinda thing and (of course) I’ve used it as recommended as a cleanser.

It does what it says, and more. Not harsh, no downside. If you want something good, helpful (and, not just another “hope” product). Try this. Also, the Midnight Recovery oil is excellent, worth the investment, lasts long and it works to improve your skin.

I have been using this cleanser for a long time and always stock up on it when there’s a sale. It is a gentle oil cleanser, yet very effective; it takes off my waterproof mascara without stinging my eyes at all.

It smells great and feels like I’m giving myself a spa treatment when washing my face. My skin feels soft and supple afterwards and never dry or tight. This is a great price point as well compared to other brand oil cleansers out there.

I hope they never discontinue this product!.

I use cleansing oil daily (sometimes twice a day), so it is one of the products that gets used up quickly and needs repurchasing. @kiehls is one of my favorite brands and most of their products have worked really well for my skin and this cleansing oil is no exception.

This oil is very lightweight and turns into milky liquid on contact with water, removed all make up, sunscreen and impurities and leaves your skin feeling soft and replenished. It has a light herbal scent (similar to Midnight Recovery Concentrate) due to botanical oils (Lavender, Primrose and Squalane) but I like it, i think it gives you a SPA like moment.

I follow up this step with a foaming cleanser because I double cleanse my skin at night.

IšverstiShow in original languageI have struggled with acne prone skin for the majority of my adolescent and adult life. I’ve gone through sooooo many products and medications. I’ve also trial and error d the oil cleansing method several times.

Out of desperation I decided to give it another go and purchased PT’s Oil Cleanser. I combine this with another product that is basically ground oats and kaolin clay (added gentle exfoliate) and my skin feels and looks phenomenal.

I still get the occasional breakout but using PT’s oil cleanser as a base and following up with a good toner and moisturizer has done wonders for my skin. As an added bonus a little goes a long way so I’m finding that my 4oz bottle is lasting me a good long while.

I purchased directly from Arden because they had 20% off and free shipping. I purchased 5 bottles. The reviews are true and accurate. Upon initial application it feels like oil on your face and body but absorbs so quickly.

I bought 5 bottles because the size is small and because I want to use all over my body, especially my decollete. After 2 uses on my decollete, I noticed the creases from sleeping on my side were extremely diminished.

It must be because it’s an 8-hour moisturizer? Super happy.

I have been using this cleansing oil for over a year. This was recommended to me by a shop assistant working in the make-up section of a pharmacy. I use it in the evening as part of my two-step cleansing routine.

It thoroughly removes make-up but leaves my skin nourished. One of its best attributes is that it also thoroughly removes eye make-up (including waterproof mascara). This product is a must as a permanent product in one’s skin care routine.

Please do NOT discontinue, or change the formula of this cleansing oil. It’s perfect!.

It’s kindof amazing how well this works, how nice it feels, and how well it rinses off. I do get acne though every single time I use it even if I use another cleanser after. That said, it does have this one AMAZING and GAME changer feature for me.

Basically, it helps me heal fast from a skin reaction…. so one day my skin was being reactive (it always is but sometimes the stars align and anything, even my own sweat, will make it freak out and other times it won’t be so bad) and I did a workout and I got sweaty… and, well, because my skin was being reactive that day the salt in the sweat made my face FREAK OUT.

It felt like I had been burned all over, it was so painful I was nearly in tears. I washed it off with this because I couldn’t handle anything else. Normally my skin would take 3 days to heal when it’s being reactive like that.

It felt better within the day and by the next morning I could use my normal face wash again. It was amazing…. I will probably always keep it on hand just for that (provided it continues).

I love everything about this cleansing oil. This stuff is amazing, it takes off all my makeup very easily. The smell is heavenly and has a nice consistency. Bonus points for it being a clean skincare product and that it comes in a glass bottle.

The packaging is very nice. Pai skincare is great for sensitive skin. This will now become a staple in my skincare routine.

This cleansing oil is heavenly! It is so gentle, smells great, is vegan, and made with mostly organic ingredients. I truly look forward to using this cleanser! I have oily skin and worried that using an oil cleanser may cause breakouts but this has not happened, in fact, I think I have far less breakouts now.

I think this cleanser would be suitable for most skin types because it is so gentle and I highly, highly recommend it.

I heard this is an excellent facial cleanser. I was a bit nervous to try this because I am allergic to Burt’s Bees lip balms. I tried this because of the price and that this is an oil. I wear waterproof makeup and need something to really cut through all the products.

Burt’s Bees I can use on the entire face, neck, and eyes and I can order this from Target. The pump is nice with the locking device so if you had to travel with it, you can without the product spilling out.

I like that. The product is an oil and very runny, so make sure to pump into your hands and cup them or the product will run out. I will use one pump and then rub into both hands and then rub into the entire face and eyes.

This stuff really eats through my waterproof mascara with minimal amount of rubbing. I will remove makeup and then I will sweep the excess into the roots to ends of my hair. My hair feels so much softer after washing.

I use a tissue to remove the product and makeup from my face and then jump into the shower. Then I will moisturizer my face and my skin looks and feels great. Sometimes I might have residue of mascara, then I use a pointed Q-tip to get the left over mascara off.

I have been using this product for 3 years now and just love it. I noticed that my eyelashes have gotten longer and fuller. When I switch to another brand, I notice my eyelashes get thinner. I won’t be switching from this product ever! LOVE!.

Very lightweight oil, almost hard to believe it’s oil! Totally melts away makeup even if it’s waterproof or under setting spray. Great bargain oil for a double-cleanse routine. It doesn’t make you greasy and will wash right off with just a bit of water, even without a cleanser! Definitely gonna be buying this again when I run out, which will take awhile since it’s huge! Other people have complained about the smell, which is a bit clinical? but is honestly not offensive.

It smells like other Burt’s products I’ve used, or maybe baby powder? Either way, not a terrible smell and certainly not enough to make me dislike it given its performance.

I’m currently on my third bottle of this cleansing oil and it has been a staple in my evening skin care routine. I find that the amount of product in the bottle is much more long lasting than the amount you get in your average cleansing balm container.

One pump of this takes off my daily makeup (sunscreen, color corrector, concealer, powder foundation, eyeshadow, brow cream, mascara, and clear brow setting gel) very easily. When I wear a full face of foundation and/or eyeliner, I usually have to use this and rinse my face twice.

I have combination, sensitive skin so I’m always sure to rinse extremely well and follow up with a cleanser to get rid of any residue. I hope they come out with a travel sized version of this soon!.

I’ve tried several cleansers but always go back to this one. Not only are the ingredients great, it lasts a long time, and the price is right for my budget, but you can just trust it to work how it should.

I double cleanse at night, even on days where I don’t wear makeup because oil attracts oil and this helps to bring up any oils or products from the day up to the surface to be washed away. This oil cleanser never irritates my eyes and has no particular scent.

I’ll continually go back to this oil cleanser.

To give some context: I have combination skin & of Indian origin (tanned). I only use this cleansing oil when I have make-up on and it does a great job of getting all my make-up off with just one pump.

It lathers well when water is added. However, it does tend to sting my eyes quite a bit if I’m not careful. Scent: kind of reminds me of olive oil 🙂 The reason I’ve kept buying this (this is my second bottle) is because: 1) it’s not overly drying 2) gets the make-up off (without needing to double cleanse) 3) has a short ingredient list compared to most other cleansing oils and didn’t see anything on there that was toxic to humans or the planet.

I can’t give it 5 stars because the whole thing comes in plastic.

this is an excellent quality cleansing oil, if you prefer thick oils and don’t mind the scent. this cleansing oil easily removes all sunscreen, makeup and mascara. it emulsifies well, and doesn’t leave eyes blurry.

but it does have a very strong olive oil scent.

My skin is super sensitive, really easy to get irritated, but the cleansing oil of Olive + M does not irritate my skin. I used it as the first step in my cleansing routine at night. Normally I have a lot of bumps on my forehead and cheeks.

Using this while massaging helps me to remove these bumps gradually. After using it, I use a foaming cleanser as my skin is super oily and acne-prone. I guess maybe because of its natural ingredients, so I feel safe when using it knowing no chemicals included.

This is my go to daily morning and night cleanser. I don’t like strong scents but this has a fresh, light smell which is perfect. I’m a simple girl, so a product with ingredients that aren’t overly complicated work for me.
