20 Best Skin Brightening Face Wash (2023 Updated)

I am reviewing the C Ester CCC + Ferulic eye cream since it is new and there is not a spot for it. The under-eye area is the biggest hot spot on my face. It tells everyone when I haven’t slept well and am going through a lot at the moment with the death of my dad.

It’s a constant struggle to find a product that actually makes a difference. It’s no secret that I’m a fan of Perricone MD products and it was an absolute pleasure to be gifted a complimentary sample of their Vitamin C Ester CCC + Ferulic Brightening Under-Eye Cream (whew!) to try.

Here are my takeaways so far: 1. It has a nice rich texture to it. 2. It absorbs quickly and leaves a soft dewy feel behind. 3. It minimizes fine lines and wrinkles. 4. It has calmed some of the puffiness under the eyes due to constant allergy/poor sleep issues.

5. My eyes look better rested. 6. I plan to keep using it. Would definitely reccomend.

I used this product one time. Regrettably, it caused a VERY painful chemical burn. I went to my dermatologist to diagnose/treat the burn; I was diagnosed with atopic dermatitis and rosacea, and have been left with scarring on both of my cheeks, caused by the pigment being stripped from my skin from the burn.

I now have to endure multiple skin laser treatments to hopefully remove all of the redness and all of the unsightly scarring. I wish I had known that this product contains numerous known skin irritants before putting it on my skin.

I simply didn’t know; and I didn’t think that a product, made by a dermatologist, at this price point, would. I am completely and totally devastated. PLEASE, don’t let my misfortune be yours. Research, research, research!.

I’ve been a QVC customer for many years and never really looked at Perricone due to the price. I’ve have used the Liz Earle moisturisers, Decleor Hydrafloral, Elemis Marine/Oxygenating Night cream and L’Occitaine Immortelle cream before, with the Elemis and L’Occitane creams being particular favourites.

So a I’m a bit of a skincare junkie. I first tried the Perricone Classics Nutritive Cleanser in the Tili TSV and fell in love it with it so when this TSV came up, I thought that I’d give it a try as it was on easy pay and had the 60 day money back, and am I glad that I did! I’ve got combination skin that has an oily T-zone and dry checks which can swing from full on oily to full on dry at different times of the year.

This collection has been amazing at helping with all different conditions. The cleanser is lovely, doesn’t dry the skin out and brightens the skin, though I still love the Classics Nutritive Cleanser more with its baby powder fragrance.

The serum is really light and brightens dark spots. I half press down gently on the pump and don’t have issues with the serum squirting out that some other people have had. The moisturiser is brilliantly light and smells amazing.

The night cream looks heavy but goes on a delight and gives a matt finish and doesn’t feel heavy on the skin. The neck cream is lovely but has a gluey type smell similar to the Prai neck cream, but not sticky like the Prai cream.

I’m very happy to have found this brand and love that QVC gives me the opportunity to try this. I’m now a Perricone convert and look forward to the TSV’s to stock up.

I received this complimentary from chickadvisor in return for my honest review. I really like this face cleanser. It has a really pleasant light smell. When you rub it on your face it feels so silky soft going on my skin.

Before using this my face was starting to get dry with the winter weather but after using it for a few days my skin is feeling soft and even moisturized. Other cleansers sometimes dry out my face I love that this one is not drying it out at all.

It doesn’t make my face feel oily at all either. I definitely will be purchasing this and recommend trying it.

I initially bought this for my gym bag right around when COVID-19 began so I ended up using this as my daily cleanser. I found this to be a very gentle cleanser that worked well with using actives in my skincare routine.

Overall, my skin felt clean but never stripped and I never experienced any irritation. The reason I would give this a 3/5 is because I doubt the brightening claims of this product. I also feel like these claims increase the price so I wouldn’t recommend this since there are less expensive options that provide the same experience.

There is also a controversial ingredient in this cleanser that for some may not feel comfortable with using.

Over the past year I’ve spent a ton of money on super expensive high end cleansers. When I started really getting into skincare I had a bit of texture, a lot of dry patches, redness, dullness. so I was trying to nurse my skin back to looking alive and vibrant.

The higher end products definitely helped a lot, I’m sure and at this point my skin is pretty normal with the occasional pimple due to stress. I don’t need a super fancy cleanser, but being that my skin still is sensitive to some things I elected to try this cleanser when I ran out of my lovely drunk elephant one.

Didn’t want to drop that kind of money anymore if I didn’t need to. At this point I don’t depend on a cleanser to do anything other but actually clean my face, and let the rest of my skin care routine take it from there.

Bought this about a week ago at CVS, my mom has always used Aveeno products on her sensitive skin so that’s what drew me to this. I really like that I don’t really feel like I need to do a double cleanse with this.

It really gets the job done without stripping my skin of moisture. If I wear heavy makeup I’ll use a cleansing oil or a makeup removing wipe first, but most days I just use this and follow with a toner.

My face feels bright, clean, and not dry. My only complaint which is minor, is it’s pretty heavily scented. I am really not that sensitive to scents or added fragrance, and it’s not a bad smell at all.

It smells a bit like a floral perfume so it’s nice but it was just a bit of a surprise coming out of an Aveeno product. Previous experiences with them, not much of a scent or none but it’s not a big deal to me.

I gave 4 stars because it does what it claims but I think it would be just fine without the strong scent so if you are someone that doesn’t like fragrance in their skincare, you won’t like this.

As someone who has used a large variety of cleansers, I am honestly not super impressed with this one. I simply expected more from it, being that it’s a luxury option. On paper, this seems like a great cleanser.

The ingredients are nice, the texture is unique [think viscous jelly], the scent isn’t overwhelmingly unpleasant [reminiscent of artificial/candied strawberries – I do not really like it, but I know some others do], & it leaves my skin pretty soft.

However, I find myself never wanting to reach for it. The results are just not on the level I expected them to be. I also find this cleanser to be a bit stripping/sensitizing [I have resilient, dehydrated, combination-oily skin].

The main reason I believe this isn’t my favorite, is the fact that it doesn’t combine well with other products that actually do visibly brighten my skin. When I use this cleanser, my skin is a little sensitized.

To the point where I am not comfortable using other actives in the rest of my routine. Simply put, the “brightening” effect of this cleanser is too minute for it to be the only brightening product I use in that routine.

Using this cleanser means I cannot follow with an exfoliating toner, or serum [ie one that contains AHA’s, or Retinoids – BHA seems to be fine, being that it tends to be more clarifying]. On nights where I would like to give my skin barrier a rest, using this cleanser would defeat that purpose.

The only time I really ever reach for this cleanser, is on the rare occasion I use it for my morning routine, since I typically prefer a very gentle cleanse then. I gave this cleanser 3 stars because if you do not use the same type of brightening products that I do, or only use them rarely, you might enjoy this cleanser more.

I still honestly do not recommend it. *Please do not ever use this cleanser for eye makeup removal. This goes triple for people with sensitive eyes. Stick to using a cleansing balm/oil first, followed by a water-based cleanser [ie one like this].

I started off with the travel size and it is rare for me to re-up on a product after it empties and even rarer for me to believe in spending a lot for a cleanser, but once I completely used up the travel size I went and bought the full sized bottle because I enjoyed it so much.

I will say that I was out of the travel size for a while before I bought a replacement and that was because I was fighting myself on my love for it vs the price – my skincare routine and results were not the same without it.

I like that it’s formulated without synthetic fragrances and essential oils, it has a yummy strawberry scent and doesn’t contain anything that causes my skin irritation. It lathers up nicely and I feel as though it gets my skin clean without stripping my moisture barrier.

it’s gentle. I mix this with my gentle salicylic wash in the mornings and use it as a 3rd cleanser in the evening. I’m sure we all know that over cleansing is a (bad) thing but I do see an esthetician regularly so if it were doing more harm than good I would be advised to stop use.

However, since using it in conjunction with my salicylic wash, my skin has gotten so much more hydrated, bright, even and it really calms my breakouts down but I do believe it’s my skincare routine as a whole – this just further brought me where I want to be in my skincare journey.

It comes in a glass bottle which gives it a very sophisticated feel and although I feel like you are probably paying for the packaginggg I also remind myself that glass is easier to recycle than plastic.

They are also Leaping Bunny certified and cruelty free so. WE STAN :).

Highly recommend this. It was on my list for awhile (based on a recommendation from multiple different people) and when I ran out of my cleanser I finally bought it. It may be my favorite face wash ever, which is really saying something.

It smells kind of like jolly ranchers, very lightly. Fruity. Love it. One pump is more than enough. It’s a gel, but thicker gel and it slightly lathers. My face feels so clean after and not dry. I feel like my complexion is slightly better.

It’s the only change in my skincare and even my husband said he sees a difference (which realllly says something lol considering he has zero idea I changed face cleansers). It’s very inexpensive (IMO) for the quantity (full bottle and literally one pump is quite a bit) and the fact that it’s a glass bottle.

It feels very luxurious. Buy buy buy. I truly think it may be impossible to regret. Now I will say… if I wear makeup then I double cleanse and I use this second because I like the feel of my skin after.

If I don’t really wear Make up then I only use this. You could totally use this to take off your makeup but when I wear make up I want it alll off so I double cleanse to make sure.

This is a cleanser every skincare lover or addict should have in their lineup. I tried this out when I went to visit my friend in Philly and my first reaction was “why does this smell crazy??”. However, when I got past the scent, I realized how nice this cleanser actually is! This also happens to be the first product from the INKEY List that I’ve tried, so to have such a positive encounter with it makes me excited to try some of their other products! It’s a great multipurpose cleanser.

It foams, but not too much, so I believe it would be suitable for any skin type. It’s great at removing makeup and makeup remnants, and with consistent use, it has done a wonderful job at brightening my hyperpigmentation and overall, evening my complexion.

I took away one star because the scent is really something different, so it may not work well for people with sensitive noses. I can’t even begin to describe the scent, but just know that it isn’t pleasant.

Other than that, it’s a great cleanser for daily use and I will definitely keep this in my rotation.

For context, I have combination acne prone skin with a lot of hyperpigmentation. I have been using this cleanser for about 2 months now and overall I feel it is a good basic cleanser. It leaves my skin feeling clean and smooth, and I particularly like using this as the second part of my double cleansing routine.

So far, no breakouts after using which is always a good sign. It is not super hydrating but doesn’t leave my skin overly dry either. As far as the brightening claims, I am not quite sure; it could be that I need to continue to use this product to see results, though I do see a bit of a “natural” glow due to the light exfoliation which does help my skin to appear a bit brighter.

Instead, I think this cleanser makes a good start for a routine that includes other brightening and skintone evening products. Overall considering the price and amount of product you get, this cleanser is worth a try.

This cleanser has undone every trauma I’ve ever faced and brought my wife back home to me. Strangers constantly stop me in the street and beg for my skincare routine. My crops are flourishing and absolutely bountiful this year, probably because I water them with the water I use to rinse this cleanser off.

(okay, maybe I’m exaggerating just a little bit. ) But for real, I am in love with this cleanser. if this cleanser was a person, I would propose to them, and if they said no I would cry myself to sleep every night.

I have sensitive, combination, acne prone skin. my skin HATES me most of the time. But this cleanser always makes it so happy. everyone’s skin is different, what works for me may not work for you, but I simply adore this.

I have only been using this for a couple days and have been enjoying it a lot. The color was a bit of a surprise when I opened it, bright yellow! I did some research on the product to make sure it wasn’t too good to be true or wouldn’t damage/harm my skin in anyway by looking up all the ingredients and reviews.

It’s safe to say I was impressed with what I found. The ingredients all seem great except for the fact it has such a strong fragrance to it, which can be sensitive to your skin and/or irritate it. I think it smells like an orange creamsicle.

I have been struggling with persistent acne for a few years now and nothing has helped. I got a prescription from my doctor for it nearly two months ago, since I am almost done with my second bottle of pills, but it has only helped a little bit with inflammation.

Since I started using this face wash morning and night, I can notice less redness (which was pretty bad) and my dark spots have faded slightly and skin feel smoother. It has only been about 3 or 4 days but so far, it’s pretty good.

I cannot say that it is just this face wash helping to improve the conditions of my skin, but I haven’t changed my skin care beside this and one other product. The other one makes my skin tingle a bit when I put it on.

(I am thinking it’s because I used it with the product my doctor prescribed me, which is a benzol peroxide spot treatment, and isn’t supposed to be used with salicylic acid (new product), woops!) Not any complaints so far but if that changes, I Will Be Back!.

Very nice. I often just wash my face with water in winter, but I got a breakout on my nose so I tried this. Cleared my breakout in 2 days. It doesn’t dry my face and my skin looks wonderful after using it for 2 weeks.

I also use the moisturizer in this line. I have combination skin which is oily in the summer. I’m prone to breakouts where I touch my face, at the temples especially. I live in northern Wisconsin where the winters are brutal, and cruel to exposed skin.

This face wash is a nice balance. It’s cleansing but not drying or greasy feeling, it’s exfoliating but not harsh. It clears breakouts but doesn’t leave my face feeling stripped. I’m hard to please and I’m very happy with it.

I’d been using this in the shower, so when I used it in front of a mirror it surprised me how yellow it was on my face. Looked like I was scrubbing with curry. No yellow stays after rinsing of course.

I have been using Pacifica cleansers for years. I was excited when they came out with this Glow Baby line. This, along with the exfoliating pads, caused me to have tiny, raised, itchy blisters on my forehead and cheeks.

I noticed them after I started using the Glow Baby pads and the cleanser. Went on vacation for 7 days, stopped using them, my face cleared up. When I came home I used the cleanser again, rash/blisters appeared again on my cheeks.

Test complete, verified the culprit. Since I stopped using both completely my skin looks 100% better: clear, no rash, itchiness or redness. I’m going to stick with my tried and true Rose Kombucha cleanser.

I’ve never heard of the brand [brand:kiwi-botanicals] before, but on a shopping run I was looking for a cleansing balm and i was in a rush and grabbed this “jelly cleanser” that was in the wrong spot.

So when I got home i tried it out upset that it wasn’t a cleansing balm, but I gave it a shot anyway and I’m so glad I did! It literally has the consistency of honey, but once you add water if gives the same milky effect at first and then foams a bit which I normally stay away from because it normally dries me out horribly, but this has not made me dry once since I’ve been using it.

Which is about 2 weeks now. It actually keeps my skin balanced. Must be the honey it’s made with. Not sure, but I’m so glad I stumbled on this baby. I definitely reccomend this product for any skin type.

The texture is jelly-like but smith and viscous. The fragrance is sweet, honey/blossom like. I’m sensitive to fragrances, but it’s very mild. The product seems to interact well with my skin. My face felt clean and plump.

However, the main problem I have is the jar container. There’s no scoop. It’s soft jell-o like consistency is finicky to pick up, but you also risk contamination. I find myself reaching for one of my other pump or tube cleansers every time just for that reason.

I would recommend or consider buying it again, but with reservation.

I think it’s one of greatest cleansers I’ve ever tried. The texture is like gel and a pea-sized dot of it creates a firm foam. It doesn’t irritate my eyes, but cleanses my face very well (I use it as the second step).

It almost doesn’t have a smell which is also good. After rinsing off I don’t experience any film on my face and the skin doesn’t feel dried out. Hopefully I will see the results from vitamin C, but even if not I’m going to purchase this cleanser again.

I received a deluxe sample size of this cleanser to try out. Having seen some reviews of how active it is I have been using at night, but I haven’t found my sensitive skin to react so could use during the day.

It is a pleasant gel formula, which foams gently when water is added. My skin feels clean but not stripped when it is rinsed off. I have found my skin to be smoother in texture and more even in tone – nice!.

This is a nice second cleanser (or morning cleanser). It’s effective at cleansing the skin while leaving it comfortable and not dry. But that’s all there is about it. There’s nothing in this formula that’s special, nor beneficial ingredients (at relevant/beneficial concentrations), including of the vitamin C that gives name to the product.

No justification for the high price.

I never review face products normally because I don’t think it’s fair- I have very temperamental skin and rosacea and I work outside with a lot of irritating substances and dirt/grime/silica- but this stuff is unbelievable.

I’ve used it for 3-4 weeks now, daily. You need a very small amount so it will easily last several months (my pot is still practically full), it removes muck and grime or makeup equally well, which is easily and completely.

The formula feels really nice on the skin and it comes off in water easily, so there’s never residue left and I don’t have to rinse my skin loads and risk drying it out. It reduces my redness immediately, the area of my rosacea is reduced, my pores are way, way less visible, my skin tone is more even and brighter, it doesn’t dry my skin out at all even in my problem areas, and I have had 0 breakouts.

I even had two spots when the cleanser arrived and I didn’t avoid getting the product on them just so I could see how it affected them- no irritation at all and the spots cleared up as they normally would.

I just bought the cleanser to better clean workday muck off my face and to stop buying makeup wipes, I didn’t think it would do anything else (anything good at least!) so I am kicking myself I never took a before pic to show the results.

At first, I wasn`t too impressed with this cleanser. What did impress me was the amazing customer service that this company has. You can tell that they really want to make sure their buyers are pleased with their products.

At first, I was thinking another waste of money. After consistently using for a couple weeks, I noticed that my skin texture seemed to be a bit brighter and soft. I ordered a different cleanser from another brand that cost about twice as much.

I used it for 3 or 4 days and noticed a difference, not in a good way. So, I went back to this one and noticed how much better this one made my skin feel afterwards. It doesn`t make your skin feel stiff or dried out.

It makes your skin feel very clean without feeling like it`s been stripped of moisture. No artificial coloring or scent. I think what my main issue was, is that I have always used cleansers that have some type of scent.

So, I associated a part of cleanliness with the essence of the product. What I didn`t really think about. is, sometimes the scent is just an unnecessary additive that could actually do more harm than good.

I feel that this cleanser is pure. More focused on ingredients that will be beneficial to your routine. Cleansing is only a step in the process of having a great skincare routine. I do believe cleansing is the most important step in a successful routine.

In order for products to work well together you must have a clean healthy canvas. I feel like this cleanser is packed full of ingredients that will give the clear canvas that you need. If you aren`t immediately impressed, give this a couple weeks and I assure you will notice it is making a difference.

I am planning on buying some of the other skincare products from this brand in the future. I feel that they will be high quality and give results. Even though, at first, I wasn`t impressed with the cleanser itself, it ended up being a winner and I plan to repurchase in the future.

The Dermatologist recommended I use a Vitamin C system (and had a brand in her office but it was horribly expensive), because I have sun damage on my cheeks and neck from years of working outside prior to sunblock being a `thing`.

(Yes, I`m older. )After some digging online reading reviews and recommendations, I purchased this product because it was one of the few I could find that was Paraben, Alcohol, and Sulfate free. I`ve developed issues with Sulfate in many products.

I liked the other natural ingredients also. It is reasonably priced compared to most, especially when you factor in the NO sulfates!I`ve been using the wash for a few weeks now and I can`t believe the difference it has made.

I`m so tickled with it, I`ve talked my husband into trying it. He has a lot of sun damage from working outside for 30+ years. The dark areas on my cheeks and neck have lightened considerably. They nearly match the rest of my skin in color and texture now.

My over all skin texture is healthier and the constant little whiteheads I`ve always had on my chin are gone. I`m not even using it on a daily basis. Just every other day. I only wear makeup occasionally, but when I have it has removed it with zero problems.

Even mascara. It is light, with a very pleasant smell. It only takes a tiny dab on a Konjac sponge to cover face, neck, and chest area. (Sun damage from v-neck shirts. )Even without Sulfate, it lathers up on the sponge nicely.

I`ve noticed a very slight tingle if I don`t rinse it quickly, but that may be because I`m using it in combo with the sponge. It rinses cleanly, no residue or greasy feeling. Unlike another brand I tried, it does not live my skin red or irritated.

After only a few uses my husband commented that my skin looked really nice, brighter. I`m enjoying it so much that I plan to try one of their serums to see if I can heal up this sun damage. It`s making a dent in the sun spots too, but a little extra help for those may be just the thing.

I’m really happy with this sulfate free cleanser. It has MSM which is great for my acne prone skin but it’s also cool to see something like oregano in here. I always prefer to “treat” my skin with more natural ingredients.

I’ve used it as a body wash a few times too lol. Leaves my skin clean but not dry and tight. Also love that it has no scent because I’m very sensitive to smell. One note – I didn’t realize there was a safety seal under the cap so I was squeezing and squeezing the bottle.

You need to remove the cap and remove the seal first. ;).

While my skin is pretty clear these days, it still bears the scars of my acne-addled teens on my face, and I have found chemical exfoliants to be the most gentle way to try to erase the marks, if not the memories, of those difficult times.

One of the most recent products I have been trying is Anti-Aging Resurfacing Cleanser by Perfect Image. It is formulated with glycolic, trichloroacetic, and malic acids for deep but gentle exfoliation to reduce pigmentation, wrinkles, and scarring, as well as to prepare the skin for a chemical peel.

It is made using sustainable and recycled materials and has no gluten, parabens, phthalates, or sulfates, and it is cruelty-free, as all skincare products should be by now. Its scent isn’t pleasant, but it isn’t too bad, and it’s not strong.

I don’t really notice it. I wasn’t expecting too much from this cleanser, but my results have been pretty impressive! I am accustomed to using products with AHAs (like glycolic acid), so I had no problems with irritation or sensitivity with this cleanser; I don’t even recall experiencing any tingling or stinging.

After having used it a few times this week, I think my skin is looking clearer and brighter than last week. And of course, better exfoliation means better penetration of my expensive serums and creams, so these things are all working together as a team to give my skin its current youthful glow.

(Even my husband noticed! He told me this morning that my skin was glowing!) This product is made to be used not only as an exfoliating cleanser, but also as a preparatory step before a chemical peel.

They recommend you use it for 5 to 7 days before your peel to allow the acids in that treatment to penetrate even deeper into your skin for the greatest effect. I have the Perfect Image Lactic 30% Gel Peel that I plan to use in a few days, and I am excited to see how well the two products work together.

I might not recommend this cleanser to anybody with very sensitive skin, but for everybody else, I think it awesome! It is a little bit expensive, but it isn’t meant for daily use. Using it every other or every third day would allow you to get the benefits without irritation.

I tried this cleanser in the perfect image trial kit (good deal, here on Amazon) and I purchased the full size. It is an excellent exfoliating cleanser. It has lavender (yay) and tea tree oil in it, but the tea tree amount must be just right, because I can smell it but my sensitive skin doesn’t get aggravated as it does with must tea tree oil products.

It has comfrey extract, also sometimes listed as allantoin in processed form, and I buy anything I can find with comfrey in it. There are additional amino acids listed that are good for the skin barrier, which is important if you exfoliate regularly.

The amino acids and comfrey aren’t highlighted in their advertising, but it’s in the ingredients list. I completely recommend.

Hi, its Glamorous Gem, This is my first time using Perfect Image, but I have browsed them a couple of times. Anyway, There’s not much to say about the design. It’s very simple and this comes in a squeeze bottle.

It’s not super convenient or preferred, but it works. As for the first impression, I would have expected the cleanser to be more white or clear. But, this cleanser is slightly orange in color and has a strong lemony to it.

It isn’t super unappealing and it goes with its overall extract claims. The extracts are abundant compared to it’s chemical properties. Though, the ingredient list isn’t super long and it doesn’t seem too strong.

When I applied it, it had a nice lather and it bubbled up pretty well. It wasn’t any strong tingling or side effects on my skin. My skin felt refreshed and clean. There wasn’t any residue or anything left behind.

I woke up and there wasn’t anything new present on my face (acne, allergic reactions etc. ), as well as no major sensitivity. My skin felt fine and it really made my skin glow. What I like about this cleanser is, it can be for preparation reasons for chemical peels or for regular use.

I don’t like anything strong on my skin and I tend to avoid cleansers like these because of that. Though, this can be drying if done alone, so make sure to follow up with a moisturizer. But, this has been proven to be a great cleanser while also being gentle despite the ingredients.

Yet, it remains to be quite effective. I will update later on about the actual brightening properties. But, this seems to be a wonderful product that is fitted for my everyday use. So, definitely worth the try.

I have extremely sensitive skin with rosacea and a very oily t zone that nothing seems to help with. I usually just get the dermatologist recommended drugstore brands that are fragrance free but saw this on sale and decided to try it.

I recently stayed with a friend who let me borrow the ultra facial cleanser and really liked it so I figured I have nothing to lose trying this one. After just a couple of days of nightly use I see a big difference in my t zone.

It’s not shiny all day and I’m not constantly applying powder to the area. I also like that there’s no irritating fragrances in it since my skin is so sensitive. As far as the pores go I’m not seeing a huge difference with them looking alot smaller yet but it might be because I haven’t been using this too long.

If you have combination or oily skin I recommend giving this a try.

Is a treatment water, so act as essence. Very lightweight as a toner. Visibly brightens the skin, you can see the illuminating mineral through the bottle. It prepare the skin to serum application. It’s soothing, hydrating, refreshing and is gentle enough for every skin type.

Shake the bottle, apply on your fingert yip and then directly into your skin. You can use cotton but I wouldn’t with essence for don’t waste the efficacy. •Contain licorice root which is really effective ingredient for brightening and even out skin tone but also known for soothing and calming.

•vit C activated (stable form of Vit C) Help brightening, increase clarity,even out skin help with hyperpigmentation •white birch for hydrate the skin also work amazingly with vit C.

I’ve been using this consistently for six years and always have 2-3 backups on hand. The best everyday cleanser for my oily skin. I used to have to double wash with a makeup removing oil and a cleanser but ever since using this, it’s been one step for me.

Effectively cleans makeup off. The best! Guests who come over and use this product end up purchasing for themselves. I never write reviews but figured if i have been using it for this many years, I should let kiehls and others know.

I used to have really bad skin prior to using this but I think this cleanser def contributed to having glowing skin now. Cleansing is the first step to skincare yall. Can’t put moisturizer on a dirty face.

I love the scent of this cleanser and the fact that it foams up when I wash my face. It leaves my face feeling soft, clean, and moist. A keeper for sure! The only watch out I have is to be careful when you use the pump.

It comes out very fast and you do not need near the amount you get. It is a waste unless you plan to wash your body in the cleanser! Use the pump gently. :).

I will definitely be using this long term. Absolutely cleans my skin deeply and clears out pores so well. The perfect cleanser to prime my skin for serum. Light smell and a little goes a long way. Worth every penny.

Without even noticing, i have become Le Mieux newest fan. I decided to try this cleanser because of its reviews. I had received a sample size of the ISO cell recovery and was falling hard in love with the brand, but was skeptical to try the cleanser because I was having great results with both Sorella and Skinscript.

One week after trying this cleanser my skin feels so clean, fresh, like a baby’s skin. Worth every penny and then some.

My skin FREAKED OUT after using this. I used it once every few days to acclimate, alternating it with my usual wash (I have sensitive-ish skin and have to be careful with exfoliants) then ramped to using it every day but just in the morning.

While I was ramping my skin felt tight but that’s uncommon with BHA/LHA products so I used extra of my usual emollient moisturizer and pressed on. After the first couple days of back to back (morning only) use my skin was flaking off, especially around my chin.

I’ve never experienced flaky skin in my life, and I’ve used plenty of salicylic washes and glycolic peels over the years. Stopped using Pigmentclar for a month, then tried it again and within a day my chin was flaking again.

Super disappointed as this is billed as a super gentle exfoliating cleanser. My skin hasn’t been the same since, I still struggle with flakiness on my chin months later. Tried posting a similar review on LRP’s website (gotta look out for my fellow sensitive skinnies) and they rejected it.

Not feeling so great about this brand.

Was very surprised how harsh this cleanser is, considering it’s from LRP and is marketed for sensitive skin. It’s VERY soapy, foamy and heavily fragranced. After using it for a few days my normal but slightly sensitive skin started peeling and it took weeks of rehab to calm it back down.

I know the cleanser was the culprit, as it was the only change to my routine. LHA is a type of salicylic acid, so I would avoid using it unless you have strong skin that tends to be oily. I would also avoid using it on days when you apply a retinol/retinoid.

It’s very drying and requires a good moisturizer afterward.

I’m confused by this product. It cleans my face so well that it feels dry and tight after use. Which I thought was going to be a problem because I thought it would cause my skin to produce more oil due to the dryness.

However, it doesn’t dry it out. It just makes me skin feel tight. I go in with a moisturizer following the cleanser and my skin feels balanced. This product definitely cleans, I have yet to see any brightening effects though.

Maybe with prolonged use. I have been using this for 2 weeks so far. I will continue to use the cleanser. You need very little to get a nice foaming cleanser to your skin. I am on the fence whether I will purchase this in the future.

I also would recommend this product to people with very oily skin because it strips the oil so well.

As I am touching 40’s very soon. Mine is dry skin which makes to look more aged. I was looking for a face wash that is clean and works well on my dry skin. I tried this Native Face Wash, Brightening Citrus and Bergamot Facial Cleanser with Vitamin C.

It’s been 2 weeks I started using this facial cleanser. It is clean facial cleanser that is sulfate free, paraben free and also contains vitamin c. Since then I started using this I see visible change on my facial skin.

It looks more hydrated and smooth. It keeps skin very relaxed and is very gentle on skin. I have included this cleanser as a part of my skin care routine for everyday use for best results. It lathers well.

It is Infused with all natural bright and crisp Citrus & Bergamot scent. It just need a pea size of soap to finish cleaning. It’s dispensing unit is very well built to dispense required quantity of soap to finish cleaning.

Clean facial products are always best for any aging skin. It really helping to improve your appearance. I would love to continue using this.

I have a combination skin type and it’s not usual for my skin to break out easily. But after using this product, 3-4 pimples popped up on my face along with white heads which left a scar behind. It’s non-comedogenic claim is false.

I also bought the ultra matte sunscreen, it contains silicon which gives comedones. Either this is the culprit or the sunscreen. Also in their listing images, they show the face wash bottle filled up with good quantity but it’s only really a little more than half way full Not recommended.

I wanted a mild cleanser for my face. Since using this from last 2months my skin has been ruined. And skin gets even more oily. I thought maybe its because of the climate. But no, the product quality has gone down.

It doesn’t clean properly and is leading to acne and oil. Dont recommend this.

Use this product for long time to see the difference. Be consistent and patient and you will definitely see the change in hyperpigmentation on your face. This product is light and free from chemicals.

Safe to use and protects your skin from harsh substances. I prefer to use it with derma tested creams/moisturisers.

So I have always had an acne prone skin, and not every face wash suites my skin. I have consulted doctor too and was very happy with result of the face wash they recommended but some of them was also the same which didn’t suit my skin.

Due to some reasons I couldn’t consult the doctor and acne again started to come over my skin. I found about wow from a youtuber but I was hesitating to buy it thinking it would be the same but still I thought to give it a try.

And to be honest I am amazed from the result. It’s a great face wash for the once who have acnes on their skin. ITS JUST WOWW GO FOR IT WITHOUT THINKING.

I have been using this product since last month. It has gradually reduced my acne problems. It also clears dart in the pore. In Bangladesh, this product is really getting popular among the young ones because of the subcontinent weather similarity.

But the price point of your product here is too much compare to India. Please look into this matter. Thanks!.

I purchased this product from Walmart. I started using it last night. I usually like for my face to still be moist from the shower. So I added the serum, eye cream and moisturizer after and it left a film residue on my face and was sticky.

So, I re-washed my face and pat dryed it with a towel and tried it again. There was no film/residue but my face was still sticky. This morning I washed my face and only used the eye cream and moisturizer.

No serum this time and my face is still sticky. It feels heavy. I have the entire vitamin C collection and this cost me a fortune. I figured it was time to start a face regimen since I’m 41. I have no signs of aging but I don’t sleep so I get breakouts and shading under my eyes.

I thought this would work out, but it didn’t. I wouldn’t recommend any of the vitamin C. Now with the eye cream, when ever I yawn, my eyes water and when I wipe, you can feel it on the finger. I’m using only one drop because a little goes a long way for all of the products.

The face wash isn’t so bad. I gave it three stars because of the smell. It doesn’t really smell like citrus. It goes on smooth but rinses heavy as well. Maybe it isn’t time for me to have a face regimen.

I received a free sample of Olay Regenerist Vitamin C + Peptide 24 Exfoliating Face Wash to try from PINCHme. I always wash my face with a foaming facial cleanser and then 3-4 times a week I also use a facial scrub.

I was very pleased with the Olay Regenerist Vitamin C + Peptide 24 Exfoliating Face Wash!! First thing I noticed was the fragrance. It is the most amazing juicy orange smell. It was a great scent that instantly made me feel energized.

Then I noticed that this is not a foaming face wash. At first, I was a little disappointed that it didn’t foam. However, I noticed after using it a few times that my face didn’t feel as tight or dry as when I would use my foaming face wash.

I think the fact that it doesn’t foam contributed to that nice, soft, hydrated feel of my face. Then, I noticed how slight the exfoliants are in the face wash. It’s not a harsh exfoliant, so I feel fine using this exfoliating face wash every day.

I can now completely skip the facial scrub 3-4 times a week. It’s great!! My husband actually just commented on how soft my face feels lately. I have this Olay Regenerist Vitamin C + Peptide 24 Exfoliating Face Wash to thank for that! I am very pleased with this product and will be replacing my current face wash AND facial scrub.

I can also see a notable difference in the brightness of my skin. This face wash gives me a soft glow, without being shiny. It actually only took two washes to notice this pleasant benefit. As an added bonus, it smells incredible! Sweet and fruity, without being overpowering.

The only downfall is trying to keep my husband out of it! He loves this stuff just as much as I do, so I think we will be making the switch from our normal face wash to this one.
