20 Best Ski Resort For Kids (2023 Updated)

Bought this for my girls for Christmas. We like to ski and we like lego so it was a good fit. We put it together in phases which was fun for all of us. Lots of different buildings and vehicles so there was something for everyone to build and play with.

Bought some white base plates and the snowcat set as well so we have a little resort all set up. I thought this was a great little set with all the vehicles and buildings. The only thing missing was a “hill” itself but I built one out of one of the baseplates.

The kids enjoy playing with all the lego characters and all the accessories that came with them (arm cast, syringes, tools, radios, ice axes, skis, poles, snowboards, coffee cups etc. ) and I enjoy playing with the vehicles.

I am a ski patroller and my kids are at the hill with me every weekend. We love the creativity and scenarios we can set up with this. We have been wanting this set for quite a while now and it will work well with our ski resort and lift set and with the chalet set (from Lego Friends).

I posted pictures and there are a couple of patroller friends who want a set now too. My son got the set for his 9th birthday and had it built in a couple of hours.

As a kid, many years ago, I played with Lego all the time. Now recently I got this set as a gift from my father in law. I was over the moon! It was fun to build and nice to start off again. It’s a shame this set has come to it’s end.

These are an awesome set of skis. But them for my 7 year old. They are priced right. Bindings are good quality and they are adjustable. I am looking to have these around for many years to come.

Bindings already mounted, easy to adjust. Our three year old was delighted to be able to try them out right away. She skis like a three year old who has just started, so hard to judge on other metrics.

I know the ad said some pieces might be missing but I thought from experience with my own kids it would likely be accessory pieces. We’re now up to 5 main building pieces that we are ‘borrowing’ from other sets and one disappointed 8 year old who saved her pocket money to buy her own Lego set.

Hopefully we can finish building.

I’ve been relying on Purple Turtle for several years now for sending gifts to my far away nephews and it’s been a success every time. The site is well organized, you can find toys for every taste and age and the delivery has always been prompt and efficient.

I only hope you will continue enlarging and renewing your offer, so I’ll be able to find new and interesting toys as children grow up.

Brought for my Grandaughter as a birthday present as she loves Lego and especially the Friends sets. Although the box is a little rough around the edges, the important contents were intact

I have used this ski to pull a lot of first timers and they ALWAYS got up, some even on the first try. After an hour or so they were ready to have the bar removed and the more daring ones dropped a ski.

Well worth the money and they have held up really well. My daughter even managed to get up on one ski using these so they can be used for even moderately experienced skiers.

Had 6 juniors from 6 to10 years all succeed on their first attempt at skiing on these Connelly Cadets. The front bar provided great stability and attached handle definitely helped their success

These skis have lived up to other good reviews I’ve read. They are well built and designed. Our 8 year old grand-daughter got up first time probably because of the stabilizer bar. She was able to ski confidently and had many positive rides! We look forward to using these skis many times with all of our grand darlings!.

Got these for my 12yo who skis most black runs and absolutely loves speed. They pushed his skiing up a notch and he’s loving them. They’ll be his last junior ski but we’re just perfect to transition to an adult ski.

They honestly don’t feel like anything but a smaller “real” ski and have excellent flex- especially for a kid that weighs under 100lbs.

These skis are difficult to find. Ordering out of Germany at such a good price, was a pleasant surprise. It was extremely easy for me to adjust bindings myself. Cant wait to use them.

My first SL skis. Love the reward for getting my edges up and set. If to like to go fast and string turns together till your legs cry for mercy, these could be your perfect skis.

Hello my name is Jeremiah but you can just call me jerry. I would could call myself an intermediate rider and my first impressions of this board is that it is really flexible. I purchased a 153 and it’s just above the tip of my chin and I’m 5’8,130ish lbs.

After binding in on the carpet I immediately felt where I was flat and centered on the board and because it’s so flexible it didn’t take much weight to press the nose and tail. The pop on this board is out of this world and the landings are pretty forgiving.

The details on the top sheet and base are smooth and well designed it’s just a great looking and feeling board!.

Very nice combo. Perfect for for our 6 year old. Looks nice and warm as well. Bring on the snow.

Again this is a gift. It appeared to be great. But I will have to wait for the feedback when given.

These skis are so quick in the bumps, from small to Volkswagen size. They are accurate and get you down the zipper line with total edge control. For around the mountain, they are also great cruising but get a little sketchy above 45mph.

On big carved turns, you just need to angulate more and they’ll do wide sweeping turns or you can tighten them up for quick squiggles. This is my 3rd pair, one for each of the past three years. Bump ski! Yeah!.

I have half a dozen skis and this one works best in trees and moguls as long as there is not a lot of powder and you are not on ice. But I am a beginner at moguls so I would not expect these to be stiff enough for serious bump gurus.

The product is magnificent and it is sent in a very good container so that it is protected

We love the Oaki Snow Suit we purchased for our 6 year old who attends an outdoor Forest School. Great quality materials, waterproof outer layer and plenty warm for our Wisconsin winters! Surprisingly the zipper on our original suit broke within a few months, but I received an extremely timely response from Oaki customer service who provided a pre-paid shipping label to send the suit in for evaluation of repair or replacement.

They ended up replacing the suit and it was sent within a week. Excellent customer service! We will be ordering more supplies from Oaki!.

The snow suit stands out from all other American brands. Keeps my son warm and dry for hours in forest school. The kids roll, slide, scoot and climb on snow, ice, rocks and tree trunks. My only complaint is that from 4x washing the seams inside both sleeves have a hole where the yellow fabric connects with the black wrist cuffs.

I’ll try to fix it hopefully it lasts. It’s probably due to washing it on a too intense spinning cycle. If you follow instructions and wash it on gentle it will be dripping wet and take a long time to dry.

Oh my goodness, this is one of the best objects ever made. This snowsuit has saved us this covid winter. Outdoor babysitting in 30-degree weather? No problem! Push it into the 20s, for a bit? Doable! Our kid is the happiest kid at the playground, and when she comes in and we unzip the suit, she is always comfortably warm inside.

The exterior is some kind of lightly rubberized material, and it is *awesome*. Got it big to grow into, and even that isn’t a problem – cuffs and ankles roll just fine. Can I get one in my size?? HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

These are my 2nd shaped skis, and they are wonderful. They remind me of the feeling of racing on the Rossi Strato 105s from my past. Good hook up, great edge hold and a nice manageable pop finish. I skied these at Nakiska, Norquay & do quick night sessions at WinSport here in Calgary AB.

Canada. They are great on piste rippers but can handle transitions including chop and moderate bumps. They have good edge hold but are accommodating. I do a lot of drills at the start of each ski session – pivot slips, garlands, etc.

They handle all drills, hook up but are not twitchy, even with a 3 degree side edge angle. They intiate well, have great edge hold and stable at speed up to 60kph-ish. And at speed I can lock on high edge angles with my hip skimming the snow.

I am 205lb (working to get back to 185lb) 6ft and got the 175cm (I should probably be on the 183cm). I am over the hill, ski with a knee brace, still like to rip everything but 80% of my time is on hard pack piste.

A great all rounder ski. A suggestion to Rossignol for their next version of the MT – Keep the flex the same Keep the 74mm under foot Change the side cut to 1m less for all lengths Keep the titanal & LCT for edge hold & damping.

Keep the red/black graphics subtle, perhaps add something as a homage to the Strato 105s. Thank you for a wonderful ski.

Easy to get on the edge of the ski. The only ski you could do both long and short turns. Stable. Possible to release the tails at the end of the turn. The ski is not “dead” like many of the titanium skis.

You definitely need to pick up the 183 cm length, no matter how tall or short you are. Even short people could ski very easily with this length of the ski, because it is so different from the other skis.

183 cm is the special one superski (175 cm is not).

Do you want to hip drag like River Radamus? Well, I guess this is your ski. Make sure you buckle your 3-point harness before you go out for a rip because these skis hold no prisoners. Want to sit back? Good luck.

These weapons have more snap in the tail than a prehistoric dinosaur. Perfect for a washed-up ski racer or someone that just wants make their quads scream after a TTB run down the steepest piste they can find.

These skis are very stable even under the harshest conditions. The cork damplifier works well. Very easy to turn. HOWEVER, a month after I purchased this pair of skis and the 4th run on the skis, the sides of the top sheet COMPLETELY chipped and peeled off.

When I contacted the EVO customer service representative, they completely dismissed my claim and told me “you got into an accident and hit the skis on something”. Although I specifically told them that I am an intermediate/advanced skier and I did not hit any person/thing that could result in this type of damage.

And continued to tell me that standard usage that occurs over time is not covered. I have used many skis including a much cheaper Salomon Aira, and nothing like this sort has ever happened. I learned to ski on my Salomon Aira and had been using it for 5 seasons, and there is not a single dent/chip on it.

The quality of this pair of QST 92 is terrible, and the dismissive attitude from EVO is ridiculous. What’s more ridiculous is that the representative tried to tell me it is STANDARD and NORMAL for your skis to peel/crack this much on the fourth run.

And what happened to the ski is entirely my fault, and tried to mansplain “the number of times isn’t really relevant, if you got into a fender bender with another car on your fourth time driving a new car, it would still get a dent in it”.

And this was after I tried to explain that I did NOT hit anything with the skis. The four pictures are for your reference- two are of the green/blue QST 92 skis that I used for four times, and the purple skis are the AIRA 76 that I have been using for the past 5 years.

Great ski – if you are on the fence, buy them! So I moved in the last two years to within 35 minutes of a ski resort, so started looking for the right skis for me. (I’ve had my own boots for the last 12 years, but rented skis everywhere I went.

) I’m a 6’1, 190 lbs, reasonably fit (I powerlift and trail run) 52 year old strong intermediate skiier. I like to ski the whole mountain and will ski in any conditions, but my aging joints really like a freshly groomed run to drop into when I get tired of being adventurous off-piste.

I tried every ski in the demo category at our local ski shops: different brands, different lengths, different widths. I settled in the first year on somewhere between 80 and 100 underfoot, and somewhere between 170 and 190 in length.

I was leaning toward longer for speed, though that evolved over time to shorter for better maneuverability. The second year I determined I wanted just one set of skis, so it had to be all-mountain, and had to handle groomers, crud, snow days, moguls, and occasional off-piste fun.

After reading a million reviews, I settled on spending some time on three skis: Blizzard Rustler 10, Salomon QST 92, and the Volkl Mantra. I tried them in opposite order for multiple days each: I disliked the feel of the Volkl’s right away, I absolutely loved the Blizzard and very nearly made a purchase, and then tried the QST.

The ski shop guy pushed me to try 99s, which I did for one day, but found them to be unwieldy in moguls and sloppy at speed. I then switched to the 92s and fell in love on my first run. They are light, highly maneuverable, and mostly forgiving/playful.

On my first run I tried straightlining, then carving, then skidding, then dropped into some moguls, then took a small jump, then did some sliding 360s, then tried skiing first one one ski, then the other.

The QST 92 made me better at all of these. I slid into line at the lift with a huge grin on my face. I do find some chatter at very fast speeds (straightlining a steep black) but this may be due to my going shorter on the skis than I had initially planned (I ride the 169 length).

I have solved for the chatter by putting one ski slightly ahead of the other (by about 4-5 inches) rather than locking them in evenly. I have on very mild complaint, and it may just be me rather than the skis: I have found that for mine there is a right and a left ski, and if I switch them around the skis tend to feel sloppy.

It was pretty trivial to put a sticker on one so that I always step into the correct ski, so I can’t knock the skis for something easily solved (and that might just be in my head. ).

I started skiing on rentals, last year I didn’t even know skiing was a thing. I was looking for a job and the summit at snoqualmie in Washington was hiring. I found a job there. I saw smiles and laughter and my fellow lifties were having a blast taking ride breaks.

One day I thought I’d give it a try. Long story short, I fell in love. This whole summer I spent minutes on the evo website looking at ski reviews, trying to find the ski that is reasonably priced and can do everything I could possibly imagine in my new ski adventures.

The site helped me figure out sizing, prices, and recommended skis for my type of skiing. I don’t make a lot of money so I waited all summer to be able to buy these skis. I purchased these skis, and they came next day.

They gave me a week. They underpromised and over delivered. They impressed me so much, there will only ever be one sticker I put on my car. The evo brand.

I’ve been on this ski pretty much all season. It floats well in the powder and handles the hardpack and in between like a champ. I love that I can get on edge on the groomers and pretend I am a racer (aka carve nice turns) and have a ton of fun in the pow on this ski.

It also navigates that fine line between being stiff enough to handle chop and playful enough to be a ton of fun in soft snow. The only thing I don’t love it for is moguls and I don’t particularly like moguls on any skis so that might just be me.

I’ve been on this ski pretty much all season at Baker plus two weeks in Japan and have loved it the entire time!.

Sooooo stoked to shred these bad boys this year. They just came in the mail and look pristine. I have heard stellar things about the magnetraction!. Not to mention they were made sustainably! Support your local businesses like Evo and Lib Tech!.

These skis really do feel 10mm under foot as claimed. Even in groomers they’re super easy to turn over. Float right through all of the soft stuff and crush through crud.

I love these skis, they are really playful but also feel nice and stable while skiing big lines. I love the 194cm length too! Overall though i have found the ownership experience a little disappointing.

I love these skis but unlike all my other Black crows they began to delaminate after only a year of use. I contacted customer support at the time and was told they simply didn’t think it was a problem that the warranty would deal with.

A year later and the other ski has started to delaminate also and I have to get them glued by my ski tuner every time I take them for work. My tuner has said it should definitely be a warranty with the lack of impacts on the front of the skis but further attempts to message the warranty department have been ignored.

Great skis but occasional manufacturing defects not covered by warranty apparently and customer service seem to be just ignoring me.

I am not Swedish or even from a Nordic country, so I write in English. First I must thank you for being willing to send me the skis from Sweden. I have found no other Nordic country that is willing to send me anything at all, much less skis, so I appreciate your willingness.

I lied about my weight as my research doesn’t actually show this particular ski having a weight class any more than the Double pole regular version of the ski. SO the risk was on me as you said the ski was for 75-80 Kg.

I am heavier than this, but have found the ski to be super fast nonetheless in multiple snow conditions. So I am very satisfied. The only complaint I have is that the price and VAT or whatever the surcharge was is very high compared to what I pay for Fischer products in France, Switzerland, Austria, Germany, Italy etc.

However, I knew that going in, so I was not naive when I paid the purchase. The 150 euros charge because this was going to France (as opposed to Switzerland where the charge is null), is baffling as this is all EU.

But the skis are great skis, and I would do it again if I had to. Thank you.

Picked up the Fischer Sprint Crown skis, with matching boots and poles at our local REI – the Denver flagship store. There was actually an unadvertised store special when we were there that was a fantastic time.

have only used them once so far this season, but she really loved them. Good control up and downhill. Good kick and glide for classic skiing. And they have that cool black and neon yellow look too. The Turnamic bindings were new to me, and are very easy to operate.

You just turn (hence the name) a handle on the binding to unlock and lock the toe. Only criticism – when it locks it is not a really solid lock, so a couple of times when my daughter had mild falls, the handle turned and unlocked the binding.

With it clicked in a little more securely. On the other hand it makes it very easy for her to put on and take off her skis by herself.

Good skate skis, but expensive for beginner. I wouldn’t buy them, if I have access to Salomon RC7 Stiff, but there is shortage of the gear and the cheaper stuff leaves the shelf very quick. I’m just learning skate skis, but if I’ll get more experience, I’ll buy $550-600 skis.

That’s why for me buy the cheapest and end up with more advanced, but Aerolite60 doesn’t fit in to any of these categories.

These are the best skis I’ve ever skied. They are bouncy and playful, but also super solid and predictable when blasting. They are capable, durable, and so dang fun! I used these skis for 100 days this winter at Alta and Snowbird, and they are still if good condition! Not only are these the funnest skis, but they’re also the toughest skis.

They rip powder, but they also rip hard pack and crud. You can beat them up and they will still perform great. Highly recommended.

I bought these skis when they first came out in late 2019. It is now 2021 and the only damage to the skis is some chips in the top sheet and some scratches. I have beat these skis very hard and there is no damage other than chips and scratches.

I have hit 50-foot jumps and many, many rails and boxes and the skis handle them amazingly. The skis are super poppy and playful. They have the perfect amount of flex to butter in the park and still be able to rip down double black diamonds at ludicrous speed without the tips flopping all over the place.

I would recommend these skis to anybody, especially a skier who likes to smash in the park and also rip anywhere else.

Faction reallly outdid themselves with these skis. Super light, incredible swag factor. Got mine center-mounted but these skis ride so well that I don’t even notice a difference when doing big mountain stuff or moguls.

Riding 186, mounted with Salomon Shift bindings. Days skied: 5 Groomers: the sick day is composed on groomers, but it is not where it shines. The SD has a short turning radius and on groomers I like to make long arcing turns at high speed.

To make longer turns on the SD I have to smear the turns. SD also is light and prefers soft groomers to hard. At high speeds it will start to chatter but not nearly as badly as most skis at this weight.

Powder: in up to 8 inches the SD has nice float, very effortless. Also in tighter trees it is highly maneuverable, easy to pivot. Variable: I have skied a lot of wind affected chalk/slabs/ice and the ski has been very good in these conditions.

SD has a big sweet spot and doesn’t punish you in transitions between chalk and frozen. If you get in the back seat it is also easier to recover on this ski than many others. Slush/crud: fantastic ski in springy/sticky conditions.

Floats well, and again it is not a punishing ride so when the snow is grabby it is much easier to recover on the SD than many other skis. Also it is surprisingly hard to deflect even when hitting piles of heavy slushy snow at high speed.

Overall: love this ski for steep technical terrain and spring out of bounds skiing. Will handle adequately on groomers but really loves being off piste.

The pescado is my favourite choice when it dumped a lot. If there would be “too much” snow for other skis you ll ALWAYS float with these skis. I took them to japan and rode it in the crazy conditions in austria right now.

With the large setback making turns will feel really easy and it almost feels like a slalom ski for powder. On the other hand the pescado with its camber underfeet rides really well on hard packed snow, slushy conditions and even slopes.

The sidecut of 19,5m is perfect so you can also carve really good.

Light and fun park ski. Not super buttery but I didn’t really care about that. If you’re obsessed with jumps this is the ski for you. It has a lot of pop and light swing speed for spins. Impact landings feel pretty mellow because of the camber of the ski.

It’s a solid choice.

We deliberated so much, trying to find a suit for our 4-year-old, reading reviews and ordering multiple suits and sizes. The Snow Pile was the winner as it fit the best (not too bulky or stiff), is made of a soft fabric that also seems fairly durable (although the knees could stand to be re-enforced a little better), grow-with-me feature in the arms and legs and a detachable hood.

Our only complaint, like so many other reviewers is that the leg holes are a little small, although we are able to get them on our kids’ ski boots with some effort. They do fit over regular boots perfectly and stay-put.

My only other suggestion would be a double zipper like the Baby Hi-loft Down Bunting which is so helpful for kids getting themselves dressed. Otherwise a great suit, we kept the size 3 for our almost 4-year-old and kept the 4 for him to wear next year or the year after.

One piece is best. Rugged waterproof fabric makes it much warmer than the down bunting for active kids even though there’s less insulation. One negative is I’d like a zipper or an over the boot cuff for the legs but size up and it will be fine for a while.

then it gets harder to fit. Last negative is the neck is too tight for those oversized neck warmers kids always have, so you can’t zip all the way up. Most jackets are like that though.

Jacket material is nice and soft and isn’t stiff. Even after hours of outdoor play in snow the jacket remained completely dry. Jacket is try to size with some extra room and the material allows it to be worn even when bis without impeding movement.

Daughter currently wears 2T and is wearing a 3T in this jacket. I bought it with the intention of getting multiple years of use. There is enough room for layering underneath. The hood is the perfect size and has enough room for any winter hat yet it also stays up and doesn’t fall down like many other winter jackets.

I absolutely love these skis. They glide over ALL types of snow so well. They’ve made me a much more confident skiier. I feel like such a pro in these. I also can stop on a dime so although I feel more powerful I feel just as in control.

I would definitely recommend. Especially for those who live on the east coast but plan occasional west coast trips and want to bring your own skis!.

Good pair of skis for beginner or intermediate skier. Very easy to maneuver, easy to make turns. They are very light including bindings, I would definitely recommend this pair to anyone for comfortable ride on all mountain terrain.

My sister used them on both groomed and off groomed terrain.

I purchased these skis recently for a ski trip and I was not disappointed. I am 57 years old and this is the 2nd pair of skis I have purchased my whole life. I was nervous that they wouldn’t work out but they did.

I was able to ski in them all day without issue.
