20 Best Ski Pants For Petites (2023 Updated)

This jacket is waaay heavier than my last one. But I like that. It’s not overbearing or anything, just there is a noticable difference. I bought the red one and it’s a really nice color. I live in Minnesota and I’ll say so far, it’s lived up.

Sometimes I get too warm actually. Anyway, if you need a new warm jacket and want lots and lots (and I mean lots) of pockets, Get this!One drawback I have so far is that the length of this is longer and when I bend over or anything unless I hike up the bottom over my waist it feels a little tight.

But it’s not a deal breaker for me. **Update 1/18/21**Inner pocket has hope it in already and I haven’t used that pocket yet. Material on inside feels very thin and cheap. The sticking has started to come undone inside the pocket rendering it a useless pocket.

Edit 2/22/21 I had to knock this down to 3 stars, not there is a rip at the seam. I barely wear my jacket and when I do it’s to go to the store. And I’ve noticed as it was very cold recently that when I try to zip the jacket all the way to the top and cover my face, the zipper gets stuck on a piece of material on the inside of the jacket.

And there isn’t a possible way to zip this without getting stuck unless you go very slow. Design flaw. Find a different jacket.

Love the softness–very soft interior and exterior, great for walking the dog in cold weather, doesn’t make a noise because of the soft material. The reason I only gave it a “3” is (1) it was 10 degrees out, not much wind, and while they “say” they are rated for Minus -25 to -35 degrees, I have to say my legs were cold, and I was only outside in my driveway for 15 minutes.

Size-wise, I normally wear size 14 and size L usually fits, but needed to order the XL in these, and the thighs are a little snug, not uncomfortable, but they are not loose enough for tights underneath.

I would order a size up if that’s your need. While the pants fit okay and the leg length was great (I’m 5’8″), the waist does have a gap in the back side. I’m going to slide in a piece of elastic so it doesn’t gap open, in case I bend over since my winter jacket is waist length.

There aren’t belt loops which I guess I didn’t expect anyway. They are definitely more of a lined “pant,” and I’d recommend for easy wear like walking or shoveling real light snow–NOT in temps under 10 for long and not for downhill skiing as they are not warm enough for the wind.

I do really like how soft they are and wore them inside for an hour without getting “hot” and our house is at 72 degrees. I also like the side pockets and zipper you could put a phone in while walking–not for sports though.

The ankles have a nice light ankle liner with elastic for boots which I appreciate for snow. I think I’ll love them, and they’re perfect for walking the dog or spending a short time outside for a cold football game.

They look like pants and not “bulky snowpants” too! That’s why I’m willing to add elastic and not return them.

Pants came in the mail today with stains on it! Super disappointed in the quality coming from Backcountry. And it was the last one in the size. I did try it on just to see if I should buy the same size from another retailer.

The fit is WEIRD, as noted by other reviewers. I got the XS short. The inseam is great for my little legs. But the hips were too tight and the waist was way too big, so I don’t think I would try to get a non-stained pair.

For reference, I have a 28″ inseam. My waist is 25″ and my hips are 33″, I usually wear a size 00 or 0. The pants were so tight on my hips, it did not feel comfortable, and the waist was so big, it gaped several inches.

Some other reviewer asked if these were seconds – I am asking the same thing! Given the weird cut and the stains that it came with. I am starting to think Backcountry does sell seconds and isn’t being transparent about it.

I recently bought boots from Backcountry – the same pair in two different sizes. The boots were different colors between the sizes and within the same size, the two shoes felt vastly different.

I’ve been looking for a practical pair of ski pants for skiing in Colorado; comfortable, sleek, stretchy, high waisted and not bulky or baggy like the typical pair of ski pants. And these pants check most of the boxes in what I was looking for! I got size XL tall and I am 6’1, 200 lbs, athletic build with big thighs and booty.

The pants fit perfectly in those areas, however it’s looser than I’d like in the waist. The internal waist belt is helpful. With the XL I have room to wear leggings or thermals underneath. I tried on the L and they were snug in all areas, fit my waist, stretchy enough to move and wear but wouldn’t have enough room for leggings/thermals underneath for those colder days on the slopes.

The pants are fleece lined so they are warm but not warm enough for powder days when the sun isn’t shining or when it’s windy. Overall, true to size but I’d recommend sizing up if you want to wear a layer underneath.

I run a snow plow business so having snow pants that fit well, are waterproof and warm are vital. I have long struggled with pants that are too long. The hems get torn up and water seeps in. I was stoked to find a pair of high quality snow pants in a shorter length.

So far these pants have lived up to my expectations. They are also very comfortable! I agree with comments about the waist. Velcro straps on the side would help, but I find that a belt also works. I thought I would love the clip at the ankle to keep the inner lining together when tucked into my boots, but I don’t.

It gets caught on my socks and is difficult to securely clip. Other than those two minor things, these pants are awesome!.

I have two pairs of these in different colors and have tried ski pants in many other brands including Arcteryx, North Face, Columbia, and Obermeyer. I have a small waist with larger hips and finding pants that fit me well have always been an issue! I am 5’8″, 150 pounds, 27″ waist, 40″ hips, and a size 10 fits perfectly! I love the kidney warmer and high waist to prevent that awful gapping problem that often happens with pants on curvier women and it helps to keep the snow out as well.

These are extremely warm and I’ve never been cold while wearing them. They also allow for great range of motion. Love love love!.

I love this pant. Ski pants can be baggy and unflattering, but these are so nice. They?re high waisted and have a flattering cut, without sacrificing any ability to move. Great price point for Gore Tex too.

Warm and waterproof without the bulk. I followed the size chart, and the 4 regular was a perfect fit. I love the light purple ?Wish? color too. so pretty! I?m 5?8 120 lbs 26? waist with approx 31? inseam, typically wear a size 2/4 in jeans.

Highly recommend these for an everyday resort pant.

Most ski pants have 40 grams of insulation, a few have 60 grams, but this one has 80 grams. They are super warm. I mostly ski in Vermont where it can be brutally cold. But don’t worry you won’t look like the michelin tire man because these pants have a very flattering cut and trim fit.

The kidney warmer is a great feature. It keeps the snow out and it keeps the cold out. I would say they run a little bit small. You may want to order your usual size along with the next size up and see which fit you prefer.

I am 5′, 100 lbs, and the Size 4 fits me nicely, not baggy and not tight. I can wear anywhere from a 2 to 6 in ski pants and it varies on the manufacturer and model. They are made of goretex, and have great water resistance and breathability.

This pant is the perfect combination of warmth, high tech material and features, and fit. They are pretty stretchy for goretex insulated pants. Spyder has made some great products over the years, this is definitely one of them.

I have worn these twice now – enjoying winter activities in temps of 20 degrees F. With a single base layer underneath, these have kept me comfortable and dry. I appreciate being able to buy in a shorter length.

This purchase was to replace size medium (which I had sadly outgrown). Those were a ‘regular’ length, which was too long for me and frayed because they were always dragging. When selecting a larger size, I measured my waist and hips, and discovered that size XL was recommended.

I was disheartened to have to choose XL, but since some said it ran small, I went ahead and made the purchase. I should have gotten the LARGE – I’ve got the waist cinched up as much as possible, and there is still more room to spare.

I own a previous version of a Columbia snow pant; nothing but good things to say about those. Was hoping these would be equally as good. Unfortunately, they don’t measure up. In contrast to the older version, which had more of a fabric feel, this material is the ‘crinkly’ type.

Not a fan of the 2 back patch pockets either. In terms of warmth, the older ones were outstanding. I know Columbia is all about their ‘omni-heat’ technology, but I don’t find it measures up. Pants are on the thinner side and wind whips through.

All of that being said, I needed to replace my old pair without breaking the bank, so these will have to suffice.

Despite what other reviews are saying about these pants fitting smaller than usual, they might be true to size. On the advice in reviews and a note on the item description that these might fit smaller, I ordered a medium short vs a small.

The waist is big but not so much that I can’t wear them. I’ll just wear long underwear or tights under them and reserve them for very cold weather walks or outdoor activities. I also found rhr length a wee bit too long, maybe because the waist doesn’t fit well and they sag.

On the other hand I didn’t try the small short so it may be the case that a small is too small. Suggest you order two sizes if you can, try both, and keep what fits.

As far as I can tell, the pants I received were not insulated–instead they have a thin liner. The pant is so thin and the liner is so thin, these are the thinnest ski pants that I’ve tried on. The material is very flexible, and it looks like polyester.

I don’t think the quality measures up against the Marmot Refuge pant that I recently tried on. I am a 36 waist, and the XL size HH pant was too big with the waist straps done up as tight as they would go, while the Large size was very tight around the waist and hips with the waist straps as loose as they would go.

The rise from the crotch to the waist band is also much too low, and I think ski pants should be cut higher in the back, which HH doesn’t do. I think the pockets are cut too low on the hips making them a long reach.

For comparison, I wear a size XL in Burton Heavy Weight X Baselayer; size L in Smartwool Merino 250 bottom; size XL in most other pants, although with the XL Marmot Refuge pant I had to tighten the waist straps all the way, so I’m going to try a size Large to see if they fit better.

I think at this price point, the Marmot Refuge pant or the slightly cheaper insulated Quicksilver Utility pant is the way to go.

Really nicely designed pant. Excellent construction and the features are all great. Just enough insulation. Fit is nice too. not too baggy like others. The only thing I am slightly concerned about is the material.

Seems not as rugged as other pants I have owned in the past and a little worried about rips. If you are someone who shreds just every now and then should be fine. If you ski or board 50 times a year may want something a little more burly.

All in all very happy with the purchase.

These pants are comfortable, long and as described. I wore them out in -35 weather and they kept me warm, albeit I was moving. These should be worn with a thin base layer. The velcro waist adjustment is a must and works very well.

The material is very soft and pliable and the pants are lightweight. Zippers on the inside of the thigh are also a must for active sports. These pants should last for years.

These pants are awesome! I was really surprised by how warm they are given how thin and fitted they looked. I bought these for spring skiing. I live in Jackson Hole and they are great for anything 25 degrees + Maybe even 20 degrees with zero wind and sun shining.

I wouldn’t recommend for temps colder than that given it would be difficult to wear a base layer underneath. I wear a size 6 in jeans and usually buy size 8 for ski pants. These were only available in 6 or 12 so I took a chance on the 6 and they fit great.

I’m 5’10” and got the longs and they’re perfect. I hope they make more colors! Only downside is no pockets.

Excellent. I’m 6’1″, and so frustrated by lack of long ski pants, especially ones with a little fashion appeal. Found this true to size – I ordered size 4 (my normal size, waist 27″) and it was a perfect fit.

High waist, fits at true waist, and stirrups at heel help keep in place. Don’t anticipate this is waterproof, but I always run cold and these snug leggings are warm and toasty. Would definitely order again!.

When I realized that these ski pants were offered in various lengths, I was hopeful. I am 5’3 and ordered the petitie (short) & was hoping that the shorter length wouldn’t create the “bagging” in the pant.

However, these are still a little long. They aren’t terrible but ideally I’d want them a little shorter to give that perfectly pulled look. Still deciding whether to keep them or return.

I am keeping these. I normally wear a size 12/14 pant. I bought these following the recommendations from others that the sizing for womens ski pants is small. Trying these on they are on the larger size which is what I wanted to be able to wear leggings as my base layer.

These not only fit well, but are comfortable and not too bulky. Perfect for me. I don’t mind sizing up to get a roomier fit. Nils pant is perfect in my opinion.

I had been looking for this ski pant at local ski shops; hey, I want to give them some business. No one had the correct color/size. Found it here, and received it quickly. Nice follow up to see if I was satisfied with the product.

FINALLY!!!!! A pant that fits the curvy people! These fit amazing and I love the adjustable waist. I did go up a size mainly because of layering, but I probably could have ordered my regular size and these would have worked.

Ok I had to chance to wear these very comfortable ski pants and I love them in all weather!! On the ski mountain, temps 19-32 degrees with layer underneath are so warm and I felt comfortable the whole time.

Even with some wind on the mountain. They are also wonderful in town and walking without a layer underneath. Still warm and comfortable temps 24-40 degrees without a layer underneath. I even recommend them more than my last review after trying them out.

Love the higher waist and stretch comfort. I usually wear a size 10 and sized up to a size 12. You gotta get these. Worth every penny. Probably will never wear my expensive, low waisted, stiff ski pant ever again now that I have these!! Thanks Peter Glenn! I will be looking for all my ski clothes here from now on!.

I have owned all kinds of ski pants over the years. My favorite have been Bogner that used to be made out of wool and were so high quality. These are the next best brand and I especially love the high waist.

They are super comfortable and flattering. I find that ski pants tend to run about one size small, so I bought the next size up in the regular length even though I’m 5’4″. The petite length was too short for me.

The petite size would work for someone 5’3″ or under. I wear a size 6 jeans and ordered the 8 regular. perfect!.

These pants are so flattering. The fit is on a snug size but they?re comfortable given the slight stretch in the fabric. This is my favorite kind of ski apparel fabric – a nice, tight knit vs the typical polyester.

Haven?t used them yet but I can tell they?re well made.

I love these ski pants! they are extremely comfortable and are great for if you are short. The UG are petite and are a perfect fit. I like the removable suspender straps and are able to adjust around the waste a little bit as well.

Being able to find petite length snow pants was a breeze while shopping online. Love the fit and quality of pants. Will be using on our trip up north while enjoying outdoor sports such as snowshoeing.

The pants are really nice. Lots of gadgets all designed to make them useful on the slopes. Kept me warm all day in 20 degree temps. Even at night when the temp dropped. Only wore under armour tights underneath.

I’m a plus size woman and bought these for cross-country ski pants – a major hole in the market among all companies that carry plus size outdoor gear. There are endless downhill ski coats, pants but we need quality breathable wind- and water- resistant slim fit pants for nordic skiing.

When i got the eggplant variation on these in a 2x, quality was great but the hips flared like jodhpurs as another plus size reviewer noted. As well, the flared leg at the angle was made for downhill skiers not nordic.

As well, there was nothing to adjust the waist – no stretchy elastic, no velcro tabs, no belt loops. So i had to pay another $100 to get them taken in at the ankle and hip, plus elastic added at waist.

A few design mods would make these so much better, EB. Better yet, design some cross country light shell jackets and pants and you’ll fill an unserved market!.

I’ve tried out ski pants from a few other companies, and these were the best. There is room in the butt for your baselayer, reinforcement in the boot area, pockets in the right spot for your phone, and the material is more water resistant than others.

I’ve found that my Columbia pants soak right through when I sit on the lift. I did get the wrong size though. I’m normally an L/XL, so I went with XL so I could fit my baselayer with extra space. However, when you go up to that size the waist gets VERY big, and the butt area too – so it isn’t just a matter of wearing a belt.

So get the size you normally wear.

I bought these lightweight pants for my wife to skin on spring break in Colorado. She skis mostly green runs closer to the base of the mountain, and it’s generally less windy and a little bit warmer down low.

These pants really fit the bill, keeping her warm in the early mornings, and cool in the afternoons with the zippered leg vents. My recommendation would be that leg vents on ski pants, and armpit vents on ski jackets are 100% necessary.

I would not buy either without this feature! My wife found these very comfortable and they are her favorite ski pants now.

It’s very hard to find high quality outdoor gear with a good fit and functionality when you are larger/curvy. These pants actually have shape to them (yay!) and are tailored to your body, and the material has a decent amount of stretch to allow for movement.

I like the high waist and the cinching at the waist as well. The vents are nice when you are skiing in warmer weather to cool down a bit. Just a word of caution, DO NOT use the REI size chart for guidance and just go with your regular pant size.

Based on the size chart, I ordered a size 22 and it was gigantic (and the size chart made me think the 22 would be tight on my hips). I normally wear a 16/18 in pants and, after having to order two more pairs, ended up in an 18 with these so that I would have room for a base layer.

The pants have an elastic/Velcro thing in the waist that you can tighten as well, since they were still a little loose around the waist. Not dinging the product review for it–but save time and just don’t bother with the size chart at all.

Choices for snow pants are limited by February and I searched high and low for good quality ski pants that fit well. I hoped to find a flattering fit that was straighter below mid-thigh but not tight through the hips so I could comfortably move.

I keep finding baggy or a slim fit that’s too tight. I hoped these would be the ones after ordering 9 pairs. These do not fit. I am 5’5″, 135″, 29″ waist, 39″ hips, 31. 5″ inseam. I wear a 6 or 8 in pants.

I ordered black in size 8 (floral in 10). The waist was very loose and the hips and legs are very tight. The rise is low waisted. I wanted these to work but I could hardly bend. These would fit someone with a 31″ waist, 36″ hips, short waisted, with a 32″ inseam.

I’m wearing the Athleta Ranier pant (small) which is a thin base layer (for 25-30 degree conditions) I find that the “slim fit” means abnormally slim hips relative to the waist (< 5" difference between waist and hips) but what I really want is slimmer below mid-thigh with room at the hips and a higher rise (to my belly button).

This is so hard to find and I will either keep looking or have the size 10 heavily altered. Size 6 length and waist plus size 10 hips would be just right!.

Man these pants are it me shushing brothers and dames. Fit like a glove and stretch it all the right points. Mega comfortable with the pristine cool styling that Obermeyer has always offered. I almost settled for a cheaper version and am glad I didn’t.

I am 5’6″ and ~115lbs with pretty skinny legs and I ordered an xs. These pants fit really well and were very warm for skiing (it was about 25F on the day I took them out). They have deep zippered pockets that are great quality.

The mint green color is also very cute!.

I used these ski pants while working as a ski instructor. I spent a lot of time on my knees helping skiers. I had the snow cuff up and down to continually adjust my boots. I accessed the pockets constantly.

I skied in snow, rain, wind, cold, and warm and these pants exceeded my expectations at every turn. They are very durable. Lots of great features like leg vents for when it is cold. Adjustable waist to accommodate different layers.

I skied in them at 10F with one layer underneath and I was warm and dry. I almost never give any product 5 stars but these pants deserved it.

First, putting on these pants, you can realize how comfortable they are. They sit well, and to size, but you can feel the instant warmth as well. These were obtained in September, so early for powder season, but I can already tell they’ll be the go to bottoms for skiing/snowshoeing.

There are a number of little features that are nice as well. First, the zipper pulls. I put on my ski gloves, and could easily manipulate pocket zippers and thigh air vent zippers. The zipper pulls are sort of a thin, wrapped around itself that allows manipulation with gloves or mittens.

Second – pockets and air vents. There is a pocket on the outside of your thigh that is lined with a soft material that would easily hold a phone or wallet. The air vents are on the inside thighs. It’ll be nice to dump heat on a chair lift after a long run or while taking a break snowshoeing.

Third, the boot cuffs extend past the pant legs and have slightly rubberized spandex-y type material around the cuff to keep them around your boots. I put the boot cuffs on over my ski boots and mountaineering boots just fine, and everything stayed in place while I tried doing lunges and leg lifts.

My only gripe about the pants is that the velcro ‘expansion’ on the waistline could use a bit of a long strip of velcro. I’ll have to use a belt with these as the waist just isn’t cinched quite far enough with the short velcro closure on the sides of the waist.

Overall, these are a solid pant. They have enough warmth factor to justify only wearing a thin layer underneath on cold days or I’d guess no long underwear at all on spring ski days. There are a number of nice little features that make the pant a very good choice for your mountain day.

I’m happy with the pant, and can’t wait to continue testing them into the winter.

I have been searching for a comfortable pair of snow pants for two seasons. My issue is I have ungodly big tree trunk thighs that make finding any type of pant difficult. I came across these pants and decided to give them a try because of the price point.

I wear a size 38 pants so I went with the XXl to be on the safe side. The waist itself is a little loose but they have adjustable straps to make it tighter or you can just throw a pair of suspenders on them.

The thigh fit was perfect! I had plenty of room and full range of motion. The quality of the pant build is strong too. So far have skied about 20 times in them and I have yet to be disappointed. Warm and comfortable.

And for reference I’m 5’8 and the pant length on the XXl was not too long. Highly recommend.

Yes, I’m a woman who bought a pant of men Medium, inseam 32”. I’m 5”3 128lbs. I bought this pants because I have to wear a DonJoy Difiance lll custom knee braces because I tore 3 out of for ligaments in my left knee.

My ACL, MCL and LCL snow skiing 5 years ago. These pants fit my perfectly. Go my the room I need for my brace. You can’t even tell I’m wearing a brace. These classic Navy blue are the best pair of ski pant I’ve ever have.

I was warm, didn’t get hot, other than my brace and smart wool base layer. I was ski in chest high powder and stayed warm. I also have a powder bowl jacket, Piolet jacket, fleece just and 3 800 down sweaters.

I’m not one who likes to wear a hat would skiing and I know I’m losing body heat by not wearing one, so I need my core to stay warm. All I wear is my smart wool bead layer, Patagonia down sweater for my mid layer, and a Patagonia Powder Bowl hard shell jackie and I warm.

I love all my Patagonia gear. Only the best for my and Patagonia hasn’t fail me so far. Y’all have great gear/clothes, etc. I’m a very happy skier. 😎🎿⛷❄️.

Using the pants for snowboarding and backcountry hiking. They are great. Warm, but breathable. I wish the inner gaiters could be resized, so that I can wear them with my hiking boots, but that’s more of a wishlist than a requirement.

These are GREAT. Look good, feel good and the fit is perfect. Good elastic at the bottom should keep the snow off your boot tops. Waist adjustment make for perfect fit and elastic in suspenders make them comfortable.

If I needed more, I’d buy more! Great buy!!.

Good value. Too long in leg really. Why do clothing manufacturers assume that if you are large you are 6ft tall and have arms the length of a gorilla. Wore them for ski holiday and they split at the seams in the crutch.

It was tight at first but the fabric stretches around the waist the longer you wear it. Love the suspenders.

The print on these is very fun. Fit was perfect except too long for me by about 3 inches. I’m 5’4″ purchased size 10 my hips are 40 and waist 33. Comfortable pant, good features and seem like they would have held up well in wet and snow conditions.

I ordered these size 10. I am 5’4′ 129 pounds. They are really beautiful ski pants but not only too big around the waist, (though that can be adjusted), the legs are very wide and not at all slim. So disappointed to return these.

Maybe if you are a young snowboarder and like the “big pants” look. but not for me for downhill as a senior lady!.

These pants feel really comfortable and I am anxious to try them out on the hill. I wish the manufacturer would have provided a belt and belt loops (as an option) instead of only providing the suspenders, however there are velcro straps to adjustment the waist size.

I love a fun colored ski pant and the neon orangey pink is not one to miss here. These are definitely more of a fashion pant – no vents, pockets or ankle reinforcement for a serious skier, but they look great on! If you’re sticking to blues and groomers and want to look great, these would be my pick but I need something a bit more technical for my style of skiing.

On fit, I found the waist gapped a lot in the back, but that’s likely going to vary body by body (although I don’t consider myself to have a particularly small waist or big butt, so confused why this would happen).

In terms of sizing, I usually wear a 6/28, but ordered the 10 per the size chart and that fit me nicely (the chart actually told me to order a 12 based on measurements!).

This is a beautiful ski pant – lovely fabric, lean line, insulated without being at all bulky. Those are features that make Bogner pants so great. I have a Fire and Ice pair in size 4 from seven years ago, and the waist is now too snug, so I ordered this pair in size 6.

The waist, on me, hits where the black bands are, and they are adjustable with Velcro straps. With that nice feature, I think a size 4 would have been fine (waist-wise). The pant rises above the black band waist, rather high on me compared to the model.

For reference, I am 107 lbs and 5’2″ and the latter is where the problem is. The pants are a good 4 inches too long, and with the detailed seams and lower boot zipper, it is not possible to cuff up or tailor to shorten.

Disappointed! I would give the Borja pant five stars but docked one because Bogner does not offer a choice in inseam lengths. Note: The pant is described as “Off-white,” but it’s as white as white can be (not that it matters).

These are expensive. More than I was looking to spend. BUT I figured if they fit well and I could wear them for years it would be worth it. They are high waisted, flattering and warm. I wore no tights underneath and was able to be out on a windy mountain at 20 something degrees for 3 hours without feeling the cold.

I will wear these for years to come, they’re everything I was hoping for.

These snow pants are an odd fit. Most pants I’ve ordered from Beans have been size large (I wear size 14) and usually they fit well, though slightly loose, which is how I prefer my clothes. But a size large in these was ridiculously oversized, so I exchanged for medium.

They are OK and I’ll keep them. Still, they are short in the rise but long in the legs. I wear a 30” inseam and these are about 4” too long. The adjustable tabs at the waist are nice, and they would help if I could pull them up and cinch in the waist.

This isn’t comfortable at all, due to the short rise. So, they ride a bit low on my hips, where they feel OK, but the pants legs are almost dragging on the ground. I am 5’4” and normally wear regular length.

The bottom outside doesn’t have a system or cord for closing the pant leg so when I walked in snow it went up and packed my pants. There is a liner that you are supposed to leave inside your boots I think so all that snow doesn’t go in your boot.

Idk but that helped. Plus the Velcro tabs for adjusting the waist are short and didn’t do me much good for cinching in. The pants drooped down so I walked on the hem. They won’t last this way and I returned them.

They are warm and kept me dry during a blizzard and rain event. They are out of stock for the rest of the season. I will try downsizing for a better fit. I am hoping a smaller size all around will also help keep the snow from creeping up my pants leg.

I ordered from 3 different companies looking for just the right snow pants. Each had slightly different features, from the number and placement of pockets to insulation, to fit. I love the fit of these and I’m grateful they were available in a petite length too.

There are no back pockets, but that seems to have worked out okay. The cuffs made it easy to get into boots. They keep me warm and dry. A minor concern: the hook and loop for the adjustable waist are located on the outside.

I’m wary of what linty things might get stuck there.
