20 Best Ski Bibs For Women (2023 Updated)

Great fit, comfortable and warm. Wore in -24 deg and couldn’t feel the cold at all. A little long for me (I’m 5’4″). I would have an extra 2-3″ in length for the taller person. Also, I’m about 155 lbs.

, and the Med was plenty roomy.

After using my old snowmobile coat and pants for 22 years (and a few folks on the trail the year before laughing and saying I had that same suit 20 years ago), I decided it was time for new coat and bibs.

I shopped around and found these bibs to be the best for the money. So far, so good. I used the bibs all through the 2017-2018 snowmobile season and was never cold. We even rode in minus 30 degree temps.

They fit great and I feel they will work for me for the next 20 years.

Couldn’t believe how fast I received the bibs and how great they looked. Gave them to grandson for Christmas and he said that they fit good and likes them a lot and keeps him warm sledding. Thank you so much.

I loved these bibs so much I bought a second pair. These fit me great and the design is fantastic. Plenty of waterproof pockets for securing my essentials, as well as near full-length vent zips (which are key when I’m touring the backcountry).

Easy off/on for quick bathroom breaks. Fit is flattering and allows full range of motion unlike some other brand bibs that just fit weird. For reference, I’m 5’-2”, 130# athletic build, short torso. The length is great on me (maybe slightly long if i were to really get picky, but not noticeable nor affects my gait, boots, etc).

Other size references: prana size 2 pants, lululemon size 4 run shorts (snug)/size 6 (fitted with slight room), 26×28 jeans.

I have other bibs (Airblaster Sassy and Dakine Beretta) but I had gotten a little bigger in the belly and they had no give. These BD Recons really do stretch so I can bend at the waist and knees with no restrictions! The waterproofing has worked in powder conditions, I haven’t tried wet snow conditions.

They are very breathable for splitboard touring and with wool base leggings are warm enough for the descent. I am 5’5″ and the inseam is perfect (most pants are too long for me). Only drawback is no zippered drop seat.

These bibs are super comfy and stretchy. The material is awesome! The dual thigh pockets are roomy and pleated so anything you stuff in them sticks out from your thigh rather than getting smashed against your skin in a tight pocket.

A full side zip would be nice, but at least there’s an ankle and thigh vent. Biggest con: no drop seat. a zippered (rainbow) drop seat would be nice too for those blustery backcountry days. Taking off all your outerwear in order to get the bibs off and drop your pants while snow is blowing around you isn’t exactly the best system.

Was going to wear them for an expedition in Alaska, but no drop seat and negative temperatures means I’ll be looking elsewhere for expedition wear and saving these bibs for resort ski days.

I haven’t used these on the mountain yet. But at 5’6 and 120 lbs and 26 inch jean size, I went with a size small. These were so tight around my rear and hips that had I not been wearing seamless underwear, you could likely see them.

Maybe for inbound groomers, these would be ok, but the kinda movement that is required by anything more athletic. and these won’t work. I don’t even have my skier bum yet and the fit is already an issue.

I’m going to try a medium cause I otherwise really like them. but the length was right for small, so I don’t have high hopes.

I have been skiing in these pants since for a season and half and couldn’t be more happy. When I received them, I felt like they were slightly loose, but quickly realized that they were perfect for easily moving through trees on a powder day.

The articulated knees add to the easy maneuverability. The one thing that made me hesitant to get a bib was the frequency that I need to pee. No worries with the long side zip, just zip it down and pull it off to the side for easy nature breaks without the risk of the straps falling on the ground.

After 140+ ski days, these pants are still as waterproof as they were on day one with proper laundering. I have these bigs paired with the Champow jacket. Look for that review soon.

The Medium fits well, room to move without being sloppy looking. They are just the right combo of warmth but easy to cool off with the side zippers as well. A couple of small requests: The avalanche beacon pocket on the leg is a little too small for full mobility so I use the one on the bib (Not ideal for turning it on or off) The bib is great but it does make a quick bathroom break a little challenging.

Another access (crotch zipper. ) would be awesome.

5?11, 195 lbs and usually a Large in most everything except for cycling jerseys, which I?m an XL. The chest was very tight and barely zipped up in the Large that I got. Legs were very baggy which I get for style, and were maybe a little long on me (I?m a shorter inseam for my height, my torso is an extra 2 inches).

Reordering direct through the Flylow website in an XL Short. Other than that, seems to be a fantastic product as usual from Flylow. Was going to pair this with the Flylow Quantum Pro which I?ve already used for 2 seasons and love (in a M, mind you, which still fits great even with two layers underneath, even though this size L bib does not).

UPDATE: The XL Short I have fits me much better in both the torso and the length, though it feels like the legs are even more baggy, which sucks a bit, but this bib is still very much an upgrade on my old North Face Freedom Bib.

Very eager to get out this season soon and test them out.

Have not skied in it yet, I am 5’10 and about 188 lbs – thicker thighs and butt. Saw a lot of reviews with varying opinions about the sizing and how the Flylow Baker Bit fit, so wanted to share mine as well.

The regular Large fits me perfectly length wise and width wise in all areas. Adjustable velcro straps around the waste allow to increase or decrease how roomy you want the fit. Bottoms look boot cut/bell bottom cut right out of the box but fit around my boots appropriately.

There are two different buttons at the bottom of the pant to increase or decrease the width of the pant leg, and i have it hooked on the smaller width button with Lange 120x boots. Love all of the pockets, straps, features etc.

Everything is as advertised. Cant wait to automatically be the best skier on the mountain thanks to Flylow!.

These are the best quality of any jacket, bib, or ski pants that I’ve ever owned. They are a little baggy in the leg but just the right amount IMO. Better than being too tight. I got the small after being told to size down.

I normally wear a medium. My weight fluctuates between 155-165 if that helps. Somehow the small fits me perfect. I also have a 30inch inseam and a long torso so the medium would have been too long in the legs.

If you have a similar body type to me GET SMALL. Ive heard that medium is huge on people that are even bigger than me. The pockets are a huge plus. Lots of em in the right spots. The extra material on the knees and bottom cuffs is a nice touch as well and they feel durable but still breathable.

The zippers are good quality and the seams are ultra waterproof. Really happy with these.

2022-04-07. Per the size chart, I would fit a medium. 5’7″ (168 lbs), 39″ chest, 33″ waist, and 31″ inseam. But in reading some of the reviews, I opted to go with the large due to their comments about the torso area being tight, and the image of the model (the pant legs looks slightly bunched up at the bottom).

So I went with the large size that I knew would be too big in the waist (34″) and inseam (32″). FYI: The other reviewers are correct, which is why they say the fit is so weird. Per Flylow the measurements in their size chart are to reflect the buyers body measurements.

In reading this, I assumed that they would add some room for comfort and layering. Well they sort of did. The legs provided plenty of extra space as some reviewers commented; however, the torso measurements of the garment seem to be pretty much the same as the body, so there is very little to no room for a thicker layer like a sweat top.

The large is quite roomy for me, and there is space in both the torso and legs. I was able to wear a base layer, a turtle neck, and a sweat top and it fit snug up top. not very comfortable for me, but I’ll never wear a sweat top, so I’m ok.

Going up in size made the leg room even larger. probably too much if you do a lot of back country, but ok if you’re more a park person. As far as performance goes, the quality and functionality of the Firebird Bib did not disappoint.

Seam sealed, and waterproof as advertised. Bottom line, the fit is kind of out of proportion as others have commented. You’ll be better off looking for something with more consistent fit between torso and legs.

But if your heart is set on the Firebird Bib, then understand how you dress and what you’ll be using it for before deciding on size. If this will be purely for the slopes and you don’t layer up much (i.

e. a thermal base layer and a top), then I’d say go true to the size chart. If you like to layer up with more than 3 layers, or if you’ll be using this for other winter activities (sledding, or just playing in deep snow), I’d size up to allow the room for extra layering.

The only other notable about sizing up is that the gaiters will naturally be larger in circumference, so if you don’t have a heavy duty boot (with girth), the gaiters may not perform as intended. For how I’m going to use these, a medium would have suited me just fine, and would probably have been a better fit.

But my true measurements are an inch smaller than the maximum sizes per the size chart. For this reason, I’d say the “fit” of the Firebird Bib run small. If your measurements are at the maximum per the chart, I’d size up.

I own both the Baker and Smythe bib. While the baker is a beefier and heavier bib, I prefer the Smythe bib for anything besides a cold resort day where the Bakers seem better suited. Smythe is a more breathable and thinner layer.

Holding these two bibs in each hand, the Smythe is noticeably more lightweight. Great for skinning with a beacon pocket on the chest. I never get hot in these and they feel great with a good range of motion.

I’m not entirely sure on the durability as I’ve only tested them out on 5 skins. As others have said, I would size up. I’m 5’9” 190 lbs with larger thighs and upper body. The large fits me perfect. The Baker is a solid bib for backcountry too but if you run hot and looking to shave ounces, then this is your bib.

This problem is compounded by another snow cuff design failure: the cuff is made of two parts; the bottom half is a solid material but the top half is mesh -which again allows snow to get into the top of your boots.

These problems are only encountered in deep snow when it can get in and under the outer cuff, but I would imagine many users of this product are purchasing a bib (instead of the pants) because they know they’ll be encountering exactly that kid of situation.

These bibs have lots of nice features. They seem to be well thought out. All the zippers are fully taped. Too deep breast pockets on the bib are easy to reach through your jacket and very useful. Too deep pockets on the leg are also easy to get to because they’re below your jacket.

Full vents run from the knee all the way to the top on both sides of the leg. One handed pull to tighten up the suspenders is very useful. They have a modest amount of style for bibs in this price range.

Only two small gripes 1) they seem to skimp on the elastic material on the gators. My guess is that that part will go out first. 2) in order to unzip the fly you have to zip all the way down from the top of the bib.

Which means you’ll have to open your jacket and if you have a snow skirt buttoned you’ll have to open that as well. But neither of these gripes is a good reason not to buy them. I’m 6’2 185 lb. The mediums fit me well.

I volunteer at an Akita Rescue. There are mornings that the fog, frost, and frozen water buckets make your fingers feel like they would fall off if you tapped them. The fog (frozen air) gets into your bones that if your knees knocked your legs would break off at the hip.

These pants (bib top) keep me warm and dry. When asked where I got them, I happily tell the workers and other volunteers “Zulily!” Then I must explain about online shopping. But I have noticed that I am not the only one staying warm and dry.

I bought these snow pants just to have something to play in the snow with the kids-not serious outdoor sport. They fit well although a little snug in hips. adjustable straps and zipper ankle. Fine for a snowy day with the kids.

I bought this because I need warm waterproof pants for a trip to Antarctica, and I thought overalls would also cover my waist area for extra warmth. These seem basically okay (though I haven’t tried them in water!) but very bulky.

I will wear layers underneath, but this seems wider than I’d really need even for that. I sort of feel like the marshmallow man in Ghostbusters. I’d say, maybe go a size smaller than normal.

I bought these in October and used them for 21 in resort days, 20 backcountry days, and a few other for misc snow activities. I also wore these in two skimo competitions and they did great. Both splitboarding and skiing.

By January they had developed a lot of holes at each leg cuff where the snowboard binding strap sits, and a cut on one thigh that I kinda patched with gear tape (the tape doesn’t stick super well, needs replacing).

No clue how they got cut, I don’t throw them around and I don’t wave knife edges over my groin but ok. They also have an unusual amount of flare in the chest, making them not the most flattering or form fitting.

That said, they’re awesome at being waterproof, lightweight, have great pockets, the suspenders work well, the zippers have never given me trouble, and the legs + hips fit well. Which is on par with my other OR experiences: great gear, hit or miss fit, not durable.

5’10, 170 lbs, 31 waist, skier & snowboarder. I have absolutely loved these ski pants so far. Great for both back country and inbound days. Despite being more of a shell they still offer most of the warmth you need for weather below 30 degrees.

I was worried about the fit of these pants after reading some past reviews, so I opted for a Large. I honestly would have been perfectly fine in a medium but having a bit more space for gear underneath I think will serve me well in the long run especially for sub-zero days and snow camping.

Also, the number of pockets and vents in these pants is wonderful. They allow you to carry your phone, sunscreen, wallet, etc. without having to worry about inhibiting mobility. I would recommend these pants to anyone.

They have no limitations or drawbacks!.

Finally a pair of XL bibs that fit! I’m stalky 5’11” 250lbs brick house. Im a 38 waist/ 31″ inseam. My issue with all other brands of bibs I tried in large/XL is that the legs are usually to tight due to having large quads so when I would try a size up they would be huge and way to long.

Ordered both XL and XXL to be on the safe side. The XL fit perfect with room for a warm mid layer (Arc’teryx RHO AR ). The bib doesn’t ride super high either which great. The stretch panels are a great feature and give a nice movement.

Seen some complaints regarding fitting the gaiter over boots. Fits over both my ski and snowboard boots just nicely. After years of searching and trying pants finally I have found them. Haven’t used many times yet but will update review once they have some wear.

The fly could be bigger to make taking a whiz easier.

This piece is a slim fit style, run small the size 6 is just right. I’m 5’3″ with an athletic figure, the pant legs fit just right around the thighs. I can just make it by adding a thin legging under if needed.

The material is nice and the bootcut adds s nice stylish touch. The straps are also nice they have some grip and they will not be falling off.

I bought these in black size 10. I typically wear a size 8 or 10 in jeans depending on the brand. I’m 5’10” and 155 lbs, and was hoping they would be long enough since that’s always an issue with us tall women! I couldn’t zip up the zipper on the size 10, and ended up going up 2 sizes to a 14.

They fit perfectly with a pair of jeans on underneath and were long enough. They just hit the ground with no annoying dragging under my boots. They are really pretty!.

Very thin, reminds me of ski pants from the 90s, thin fleece lining. Suspenders on bibs are great quality! These are a little forgiving in the hips and seat, they fit snug in the waist, seem to be great for a “pear shape.

” Flattering under a thick jacket too!.

Lets start with this–I should have read more carefully. A large in this brand is more like a medium in most others. Their waist measurement in the chart is not actually for your waist, but for 4 inches below it; again, I didn’t read well enough.

I have 44 inch hips and these were 3 inches from closing, meaning they’d close, but be very fitted on a person with 40in hip measurement, which is what they say should fit. I don’t see that working for doing something active in these.

They do not have stretch and are slim cut for sure. I bought the goblin blue and the outer fabric and finishes are very pretty, like modern train conductor vibes. The inner lining on the legs is gross polyester blend, like the inside of old sleeping bags.

So idk, this bib is a total mixed bag.

I have two other pairs of 686 pants both small, the fit on these bibs is comparable. I’m 5’4” 105lbs and got the small. Flattering fit and the length is perfect. At first I thought they were a little tight around the thighs, but they didn’t restrict movement at all and they are super comfortable even with a thicker base layer under.

They are very thin, but warm. I had them on for a couple 13 degree days recently (base layer under) and I was on fire, had to the open the vents multiple times. Totally dry all day in deep powder (vents closed 🤣).

Great pockets, great color. I got the curry yellow ones, super sharp. Couldn’t be happier with these bibs.

So stoked on these pants. Good fit, great materials, excellent pockets. Love the middle zipper with up/down access. The water bladder belt is a little awkward looking but it isn’t cumbersome while wearing.

The whole hydration system is genius. The insulation may get a little toasty on warmer days, but the pants have a good ventilation system. Looking forward to putting them through the wringer this winter!.

The materials and workmanship on this piece are top notch, what you would expect from HH. The pocket layout is good however, the fit is atrocious. I have had bibs from Spyder, EMS, Marmot and ??? brands and the HH Ridge has the worst fit.

It?s akin to wearing an ill- fitting sack. Way to baggy below the waist and tight above. The side-zip entry is also odd and not user friendly. I?m not sure what kind of body would be well suited for these bibs, mine, 5?8? 31 inch waist, 40 inch chest, was not and they were returned.

I really like these, but fit too tight. I wear a small or medium in most things, and a 6 or 8 in pants sizes. These mediums fit way too snug, hard to zip up, tight in thighs and at waist and ribs. Length was good for me (short), and otherwise I really liked these.

Had they fit slightly looser, and had a thigh pocket they would have been perfect. I ended up finding exactly that in the Helly Hansen Powderqueens – medium, those fit perfectly, maybe because they are just shells so they allowed a bit more room.

Very comfortable on. Length is on the shorter side compared to all the other snow pants I ve tried on so far, which is perfect for me. The best thing I like about this pair is the cinched waist. The elastics can alway make a fitted waist depending on the amount of layers, which is a rare find among other snow bibs.

Wearing the new Men’s Firefall bib is so amazing, one could compare it to falling it love. But not any kind of love, we’re talking about the feeling of falling in love with steezing a mountain in some crazy pow.

Or maybe. It’s just the feeling of steezing itself. These snow bibs have made me seriously begin to question why I haven’t been steezing for longer. Steezing mountains, villages, cities, etc. I’m 25 now and for the first time I feel like I can steez down an empire.

I could take down Joffrey Lannister with a single swing of the ski pole. I could take out Khaleesi and her dragons with one swift snow blinding stop, I could defeat the entire Ramsay army by walking into the castle and demanding a surrender.

The point is, you can do whatever you want in these bibs. Except for tinkle, tinkling is tough but what would you expect in a bib. The zipper will suffice, but be careful on cold days. you might lose it.

Anyways, incredible bibs here that are going to last me quite a long time.

I’m Petite 5’1 108 lbs with long torso, short legs. Athletic build. These bibs ( size small ) fit like a glove with the needed amount of looseness for warmth and movement. The legs are long, but not unmanageable as I will fold them under and tack them : ) Nothing new there.

They are of high quality material you would expect at this price point. The leg pockets are a stretch to reach but i love the placement being on the outer thighs. The kangaroo pocket on top is great! What else is great is that ( though a bit awkward getting into) the straps are attached ( and adjustable ) so they won’t accidentally come undone ! inside the thighs are zippers with mesh lining to cool if needed.

I haven’t worn them outside yet, so I cannot comment on warmth, but being how warm I got wearing them a short time around the house I’m confident they’ll be warm out in the cold. I’d had these in my cart for 2 weeks when I got a notice they went on sale!! Now they belong to me : ) I you like fitted Snow Bibs, that allow you to still look like a women, these are for you! They’re ADORABLE on !.

I really like this bib. I got the L in yellow since I’m usually right between 2 sizes and I’m happy I sized up. Though I have the straps mostly tight and the butt is still a bit baggy on me it shapes well around the waist and chest, the legs actually fit my quad, and I’m not constantly pulling at the crotch for riding up (which is a huge bonus).

It is a bit weird getting in and out of the bib since you have to put the top on and then fenangle your legs into the bottom half, but thankfully you don’t have to do all of that when using the restroom since you can just unbutton and zipper the bottom half & the top half stays.

They’ve been perfect so far on in both early season warm conditions (CA 40’s-50’s) and through a whiteout storm (CO 5-30’s). I was able to vent it on warmer days and it helped keep me dry trudging through powder up to my knees/hip on another.

Cleaning has been pretty easy so far. I got a few stains on it each trip (dirt, blood, hot chocolate, etc. ) and they were pretty easy to spot clean those out and wash. My only complaint with this is that the button on one side didn’t have quite as strong grip as the other so the first few trips it kept unbuttoning and the zipper would go 1/2 down my side.

I fixed that on my last trip by just clipping the zipper into a climbing carabiner (fingers crossed that continues to work and doesn’t break the string of the zipper).

I bought these snow pants because of other good reviews – and what a waste of money. These bibs are extremely thin and do not hold up to kids’ activities. My son got a hole in the knee within the first 15 minutes of wearing them while making a snowman.

The second time he wore them ice skating and got a hole in the other knee. Steer clear of this brand! There are other brands at the same price point that are much better quality with thicker material.

I bought this for my wife 2 weeks ago for a ski trip and they run small. While she was taking them off the leg ripped. Very skinny and material sucks. My rain gear is thicker than these are. I went to return them and they would not refund the shipping cost.

I was asked if I wanted to order another pair (seriously after they while trying them on). I will definitely not buy from them again. Bought a pair from Academy sports and they worked awesome, a lot thicker too and were cheaper as well.

I bought these for the snowboarding season… and boy are these great!! I have snowboarded and went out in the snow multiple times and I stay warm! No water gets in these pants. I bought a Mens Large and as a women they fit very comfortable.

I would recommend, especially because they are so cheap compared to other brands!.

Haven’t had the opportunity to try them out, but I feel that thwy are going to be really warm. My only complaint so far is the total lack of pockets. Had I known there were no pockets, I would have kept looking.

With wind and rain coming at me by my foreword your overall design is better. Skiers and walkers legs by their using them use thinner leg warming. I have an electric motor and use it

This was a gift for someone who lives in Sutton Bay, Michigan. He wears the bib for snowmobiling and says it fits perfectly and will definitely be worn quite a bit.

I already had two other pairs of these bib overalls in size medium before I purchased these in size XL. I purchased these in size XL because, although I am a size medium, the medium overalls were too tight (mainly in the quads & hammies), which restricted my movement.

I’ve snowboarded in these overalls as well as worked around the ranch in them in below freezing weather. Squatting is easier in the XL size, but I wish I had more room for movement and for the pockets.

These overalls have great vertically elongated pockets, which in theory would equate to a larger amount of storage space, but since the thighs are too tight, the pockets don’t have room to stretch horizontally to create room for objects or your hands.

I can barely get a hand in my pocket if I have gloves on. I don’t have very large or muscular thighs, so make sure you size up if you do.

I bought these bibs for a trip to Colorado this winter! I LOVE them! Definitely the best purchase I made for the trip! After 4, 7-hour days on the slopes, tucking and burning for long stretches, some epic falls, sitting in the snow admiring the views from Vail’s back bowls, and hiking 4+ miles in 3+ feet of snow, I can safely say these are a great pair of bibs! Sizing: I’m 5’11” with an athletic build and normally buy size 4-6 pants in tall sizes.

I was nervous these bibs wouldn’t be long enough but they are perfect and fit great! Features I Love: -Adjustable Straps: allow for flexibility in height. -Duel side-zippers (can be zipped up or down): awesome for navigating bathroom breaks without having to shed all my layers.

All I had to do was unzip the sides. Warmth/Waterproofing: I’m naturally a cold person so I wore a pair of leggings and a pair of thin sweatpants underneath each day. Those layers fit comfortably while still allowing for maximum mobility.

I felt the fit was flattering, but I’m more concerned with functionality on the slopes than the perfect picture. The bibs really keep out the wind and as far as I know, they are waterproof (we didn’t have any rain or sleet though, so I can’t say for sure).

I haven’t gotten to ski with this bib yet, but I’m looking forward to it! The only complaint about it that I have are that I wish it had more pockets (specifically on the thighs and rear). It seems a little long, but I think when I have ski boots on it will be OK.

I haven’t worn a bib since I was a kid, so design has come a long way! I love that you can unzip this one on both sides to drop the back so that you can go to the bathroom, and those side zips are two-way so you can unzip from the bottom, so if you were wearing an underlayer with pockets you could access those easily.

There’s a stretchy section in the middle of the back for mobility. The adjustable straps do unclasp, but it’s just as easy to get out of by unzipping the sides. There is a center front pocket, but it’s a little awkward to reach into when wearing the bib, I think a double-sided pocket like on a hoodie might have been better.

There are pockets at the front waist, which are lined with fleecy material, and the left one has a clip inside for keys. I found that the crotch fit fine once the straps were adjusted, but there are belt loops too if you need a belt, though that would make it impossible to drop the back.

The one I got is basic black, so not too exciting. I typically prefer colors that are unnatural for skiing, so if I have an accident I can be found easily. Therefore I would rather have a brighter color, but at least it’s not white.

Stylistically it’s a boot cut, which I think is OK fashion-wise right now. I’ve seen a lot of really slim-cut ski pants over the last few years (my 10-year-old ones were really baggy, skater-style), but I think boot cut is coming back and they are not particularly tight on the legs, but also not baggy (this is going to depend on your legs, as well).

I got a small and I’d say it’s true to size.

I got a medium and I’m 5’9 138lbs. I could’ve gotten away with the large as well. Would recommend!!.

The color is beautiful, it’s kinda purplish pink. Size S fits perfect with guards inside. I’m 166cm and 49kg and I enjoy a little bit looser looks. The zipper on the side is quite long so it’s very convenient to use the washroom which is probably the most concern with wearing a bib.

These are exactly what I am looking for. Medium was just a bit to small for full range of movement and no doubt a Large would been too big. I wear a Medium in Patagonia ski pants and size 10 in pants (Archteryx).

I have athletic thighs and butt. just not enough room to be comfortable in and justify spending that much. They need to be perfect to make that investment. I had to return them. still on the hunt for backcountry pant.

Nice bibs, fabric has some stretch. Nice low bib design with good dropseat function. Fit through the thighs is one of the roomier ones on the market at the moment, Good for active ladies and cold weather.

Lower legs are bit on the wide side even for alpine ski boots and have no way to tighten up. Not an issue for alpine skiing or boarding, but for other activities and even skinning, a snap or Velcro strap would be nice.
