20 Best Skechers Shoes For Running (2023 Updated)

I use my Skechers for my walking-around-the-park exercise routine(I’m not a jogger, but I’m pretty sure that these shoes would be great for cushioning each running step), for running errands, and for shopping at stores.

Regardless what kind of shoes I had worn before, my feet would always hurt a bit as well as my back after long walks on hard surfaces, and I was always worn out and happy to get home and take my shoes off.

but NOT with these Skechers. By far, these are the most comfortable shoes of any brand I have ever worn in my life of 76 years! I really like how very light weight they are, how much support they give my feet, and how they actually give a real bounce to my step.

I’m totally satisfied with my purchase, and I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a truly comfortable pair of athletic shoes. I’m completely satisfied with their quality, their appearance, their comfort, and with the good customer service I received from Skechers.

I purchased these Go Run Consistent shoes with the air cooled GOGA Mat when I tried them on in a store. I liked them so much I went on your website and purchased another color because they are so comfortable.

They had the best cushion I had ever felt giving your arch the support needed for walking. I walk for exercise and they were great right from day one. A bonus they don’t pick up the little rocks in my driveway.

I have other shoes that do so when you get in and out of your car your floor mats get covered with rocks or walking around in the store you can hear the rocks that are stuck in the grooves of your shoes.

I’ve had back surgery so I really have to be picky about my shoe selection. My best walking shoes ever!!!.

I have been wearing skechers shoes for many years for running/jogging/walking. They are my favourite brand to wear because of their thick comfy soles. I have tried their memory foam ones and goga mat soles and i recommend goga mat soles for running/higher impact workouts.

Memory foam soles can sink over time but goga mat ones don’t. I love the bouncy feel of the goga mat soles. I have pretty big feet and most shoes make my feet look longer, but this design makes my feet look smaller! win for me! I wish they came out with more colors.

These are the best ever runners. I got them for my husband and he loves them. They’re comfortable, but sturdy and this is his 2nd pair of them. Great value for money. Ordered online and they were delivered in a couple of days.

So I order these because I’ve had the best experiences with rocker bottom sneakers. The Sketcher Shape ups were great. Unfortunately they made made claims they couldn’t substantiate so the and the TV K family got sued.

However, the original rocker bottom shape ups made me want to walk and allowed me to walk for a long time without taking a break and without back issues. The image on the page looks exactly like what I was looking for.

When they were delivered, I thought there was a mistake. Then I looked again and they matched the model number and the picture. They weren’t as rounded on the bottom as I expected. That said they are VERY comfortable (hey, they’re Sketchers).

They do give a slight rocker bottom feel. So I’m happy with my purchase and the shoes fit and feel great.

Buying shoes these days is a gamble. You can spend $25-$30 on junk that might last a summer or spend $100 on “name brand” ones that fall apart just as fast. Skechers has been around awhile so I “rolled the dice” on a pair and have been wearing them every day for a month now and have no complaints at all.

We have 6 dogs that I walk every day on our trail through our woods, totals up to 1 1/4 miles. I have a machine shop that works in 6061 aluminum and wore these instead of my usual Bates boots. After dinner I work a couple hours on the 1969 Impala I’m rebuilding, been replacing the entire brake system, up and down and twisting and turning and these shoes have held up 100%, I’m ordering another pair for down the road, quality at a decent price is of the utmost importance to me.

I was looking for an moderately priced shoe in a larger size than I normally wear because my foot is swollen from foot surgery. This shoe was on sale and seemed to be what I was looking for. They seem to be well constructed and they look nice.

They are comfortable. Don’t know how well they will last, because I’ve only had them a few weeks.

I bought these shoes because of the price and because I see the commercials on TV saying how comfortable Sketchers shoes are. So I figured why not give them a shot. Overall they are fine. They felt pretty good out of the box.

The only reason why I gave them 4 stars and not 5 is the quality/construction of the shoe doesn’t seem to be as great as the other shoes that I usually buy ( I buy New Balance, Asics, and Adidas usually).

They feel a tab bit cheaper than those other brands I mentioned. Again for the price it’s hard to complain. I would probably buy them again just for that reason. We shall see how they hold up over the next couple of months.

I’ve been wearing these for a couple of days now and am really happy. I’ve had a few other skechers because of the memory foam insoles, and noticed these also have the curved soles. They are a cloud to walk on and really helps with back issues.

Next time I’ll skip some other brands that have very hard insoles and look for this brand.

I purchased this very light and attractive pair of Skechers online after finding out my closest DSW did not have my perfect size. It is both arch supportive and very similar to pricier competitors. The black and orange color combo is eye-catching and versatile to wear with casual outfits.

Good brand good quality good customer service. Bought this on a good deal. Very light weighted. Satisfied with it.

Always buy Sketches. Quality and price was right. Mark’s has good deals especially when they run their sales.

These are my first pair of Skechers trainers, although I do own Skechers sliders and sandals and love the comfort and quality of those. After reading the positive reviews, I took the plunge and ordered my usual size 4 in the black.

I do a lot of walking locally on a daily basis in my bid to keep fit post- menopause, and needed a pair of comfortable yet quality trainers to assist me in this task. The first time I wore them (without socks), I couldn’t believe how comfortable they felt.

Expected to have blisters, rubbed toes etc but no! Extremely lightweight when worn despite their ‘chunky’ appearance and very supportive on my feet and ankles when walking. It felt like I had owned them for months.

No rubbing or discomfort whatsoever despite it being a warm day. I have kept the packaging as I am always sceptical about buying shoes/trainers and whether they will be comfortable or not- but I cannot envisage returning these.

Can highly recommend as a comfortable, supportive trainer for anyone who does a lot of walking and doesn’t want the nightmare of suffering from blisters or having to ‘wear them in’ before they can be comfortably worn without worry.

The navy color that I purchased for myself in a 7 1/2 is pretty, but feels too big. It looks a little bit longer and feels looser across the top than my other 7 1/2 Skechers. I don’t know if it’s just the way they are made.

They don’t come up around my foot and closer to my ankle like the other Skechers and other walking shoes I have. Way too much of my white footies show outside of the navy shoe. Maybe these are not walking shoes, and not meant to be worn with footies.

? I bought a size 6 in white for my Mom who normally wears 6’s comfortably loose, and hers are a little snug. But they look fine with the white footies since they are also white. The shoes actually look good.

As far as the colors – Of course white always looks good, and the navy is a nice medium-dark navy (it looks blue, and not black). But the white seems to run 1/2 size too small, and the navy seems to run 1/2 size too big.

These would be much better to purchase if you could try them on in a store before purchasing. I’ll be sending the navy ones back.

Hi, I recently purchased the Skechers Maxroad 5 and have now done 4 runs in it. It’s a responsive cushioned daily trainer that is versatile for all kinds of runs. Its good for recovery to tempo paces and for both short and longer runs as there is plenty of cushion and protection.

I love how it can pick up the pace and has a bit of pop on toe off due to the H plate and Hyperburst foam. It’s quite flexible and soft underfoot the upper is quite breathable. Got it for a great price at Myers.

For the price and its versatility I give it around 9/10 close to 5 stars. Thanks. Steve.

1 star for the lovely navy colour, and the pretty jewels. 4 stars taken off for the complete lack of comfort! No arch support, the toe post uncomfortable (I love toe posts and usually have no difficulty wearing them) – it was almost as if it was in the wrong place.

Got them to wear to a local music festival in the heat this weekend. By the time I got home from the event my feet were SO tired, and I’d been sitting for most of the time! The cheap toe posts I bought last summer for less than a third of the price from the local supermarket are more comfortable.

ALSO – when they arrived I could see that they’d been worn before – toe marks on the foot bed! QVC quality control missed that one! But – as I needed them the following day I overlooked it! Very disappointing product for a very substantial price.

They have been returned today.

I got these for my granddaughter to give to her mommy for her birthday. My daughter wears a size 7 and these fit perfect. I was worried about them fitting because sometimes my daughter wears a 7-1/2 if the particular shoes run small, but these had plenty of room for a size 7.

I got the Taupe color. The glittery straps look even prettier in person, and, of course you can’t beat Skecher’s for comfort. It’s like walking on air. My daughter’s feet are a bit narrow, but these hold on to her feet just fine.

Sure, Skecher’s cost more than cheap flip flops, but nothing compares to them for comfort, fit and durability. I have found Skecher’s shoes last a long time, so they’re worth the extra money. I recommend these cute sandals and the Skecher’s brand.

I needed a sneaker for daily walking with good arch support and sufficient width space across the ball of my foot (as I have had a couple of different problems with my feet over the years). This is the first time I’ve tried the Arch Fit model.

I have found other Skechers to be comfortable shoes in the past. The discounted price encouraged me to brave purchasing this different model online. I’ve worn them walking twice since they were delivered and I’m very pleased with them – they provide the arch support and the ball width space I need, are comfortable and look nice too.

My husband is now interested in purchasing a pair for himself!.

I love these so much I have them in blue, olive, and cream. First they are super comfortable. I like the fact that they elevate the heel a bit. There is enough support to make them wearable the whole day.

The stretch fabric is very soft so if you decide to wear these without socks they will be comfy. And since they are washable, wearing without socks is a realistic option. Prior stretch knit sneakers from Skechers have been a little scratchy at the heels but not these.

The laces are purely decorative, these slide right on and off. In terms of size I think these are a touch on the narrow side. I have a narrow heel and these are a perfect fit for me. However if I want a thicker sock I really need the wide (which are too wide for me to wear without socks).

In terms of color, the blue is a true blue jean blue, very pretty. The olive is my favorite just because it’s so unusual a color and it makes a great neutral. The green is a touch more on the blue side than the yellow side of olive.

The cream is very unusual, sort of a custard donut filling shade that doesn’t look like it’s a medical professional shoe. It seems like it will be a great color for summer.

This is my 3rd pair of the Skechers Sport Energy Shoes in Millennium White. I know what I like and that’s why I keep repurchasing the Skechers in this particular style and colour. They are perfect! I get long wear out of these shoes as well.

The pair I am wearing right now were actually purchased back in 2017! There’s nothing wrong with them either. They really hold up over time! I still wear my first pair as well. I use them for yardwork now.

I bought that pair back in 2010. That should say something about the quality. I am so pleased that Skechers still makes this particular shoe. I am quite picky about my runners. I will only wear them if they’re all white.

I find that most runners have some colour splashed on them somewhere which isn’t my thing. They are super comfortable. It’s like walking on pillows. I bought this latest pair without actually needing them.

As I mentioned my Skechers last me a long time. When I saw them on sale I decided to buy this pair and tuck them away in my closet until I need to unbox them. Another plus is that the white colour holds up really well.

I still wear the same size that I did back from 2010 so the shoe itself is true to size which is why I wasn’t scared to order them online. Definitely recommend. Best shoe around!.

I purchased the Ombre Bliss in blue tie dye. The colors are vibrant, just as shown. The most important thing, however, is the comfort. I have spinal stenosis with nerve damage in my left leg from a compressed spinal nerve root, and have two other compressed areas, and other areas of damage to my spine.

My feet and lower legs swell from the medication I am on. These things affect walking, so I have to have comfortable shoes. I cannot say that these shoes have extra support, but they do have the memory foam.

I also appreciate the extra cushioning at the back of the heel area, which means no raw spots or blisters (ahhhh!). I wore the shoes to the doctor’s office, the pharmacy and to that big blue box store all in one day and was still able to walk without pain in my feet.

Fits true to size. I can wear an 8 or 8. 5, and I ordered the 8. 5 since my feet swell from medication.

I’m enjoying this shoe after taking out the flimsy insole and replacing it with one that works for me. Not sure about the cushion level of this shoe. I like the easy on and off feature. Durability is something I will pay attention to (I’m a seasoned trail runner on relatively easy trails in the woods Monday – Friday, and I go about 4.

5 miles each time, sometimes more.

Laces are way too short. So short in fact that you cannot use the heel lock holes appropriately. Skechers customer service refused to send me a new pair of laces or a small discount so I can buy my own longer laces.

Won’t purchase running shoes from skechers again.

The most comfortable shoe I’ve ever worn. They look like a training shoe. Great for walking, gym and travelling because they are so light. This is my second pair which I bought 5yrs ago. I would recommend to all age groups.

Attractive, light weight and comfortable. HOWEVER, way too much cushioning. I have low arches, and even with orthotic, the shoes compress WAY too much and causes over-pronation, knee, hip pain.

It is difficult to find a classic style sneaker. We look for utility use not for ‘what’s in’ or popular at the mall. Skechers usually makes a great line with enough variety to satisfy customers of all types and this one fit the bill.

The sizing is true and the width is great (my husband usually wears a W but by looking at the cut, I could see the M would fit, and it did). The color is as pictured Gray/Black-not a stitch of blue. I think 90% of our shoes are Skechers and this one did not disappoint.

Bought on the web and shipped to the house because we were too busy to shop and try on. Fit exactly like the size 12 sketchers from years ago. Nice insole, and nice to have a new pair, though the old Sketcher held up well.

Bought a second pair as soon as the first was tried out and walked in for a bit. Easy to buy, easy to wear.

Bought these shoes for outdoor walks especially on colder New England days. Very comfortable with good arch support. They are also water resistant, good for those days when puddles or snow are around.

Size 6 ordered. Good fit, even for my wider foot. Live near the beach so thought would be perfect. However, after first walk just round the block my left foot around the bunion area was rubbed raw. No give in the front strap area when walking and still the same when on looser notch.

Sadly will have to return. Loved the sparkly prettiness. Don’t know if this is a shoe problem or just a problem with my feet, but will be unable to wear them.

The solution to this problem? Buy shoes that are big enough to fit your kid’s feet now! I bought these in a bigger size than the shoes I bought 6 months ago, and they fit my kid’s feet! Now those feet are clean and protected! Also, these say “Mega Craft” on them, and have a blocky pattern reminiscent of Minecraft! Kids love Minecraft! Neat trick, Skechers!.

Ordered the black in size 6 to begin with as a 6. 5 and followed the advice to size down. I’m a standard width. If you want to follow the sizing advice. fine. For me personally I don’t like my footwear to ‘just fit’.

I sent the size 6 back and ordered the 7. Ordered silver and black in a 7 and they are better for me (bit of length – don’t look like a just fit). I love the silver bling and the black are a classic with a bit of a twist.

Very comfy. On a less than delicate note they tend to get a bit moist so wash or baby wipe regularly. I would imagine they’re fab for spa and pedicure if you get the chance. Summer slipper , abroad lightweight suitcase multitasker (when we get the chance).
