I bought this for commuting on my kick scooter. It was between this helmet or a Thousand helmet. I went with this one since it was more affordable and had better safety ratings overall. It?s very sturdy and has pretty good ventilation.

I?ve worn it in over 100 degree weather and it?s about the same as normal bike helmet. I did have to use the thicker pads to better fit my head. I only wish that the side straps were a bit more adjustable to make the placement of the strap under the chin more comfortable.

Purchased this helmet for my 8 year old son. It fits perfectly!! He has always seemed to work up a sweat pretty easily, and when he does he sweats a lot lol. The sweatsaver liner does a great job of keeping the sweat from dripping down the head and does not leave behind any nasty smell! He finds it to be very comfortable and absolutely loves wearing it! Awesome and sleek looking helmet.

Just want to say thank you and im having so much fun on the fr80 skates they are a perfect skate for me atm love them😁 now aswell as i purchased the seba knee and wrist guards witch im realy glad i chose them they look mad there comfy easy fit.

First off, it’s really is a lovely helmet. The finish is great, and the little features like the magnetic clip and the hole to put your lock through really separate it from the run of the mill helmet options.

It fits very much like a BMX helmet, more of a bucket feel than a road helmet, but pretty comfy albeit lightly padded. I’ve owned a ton of helmets over the years (I’m a year round bike commuter) and this one is by far my most stylish! However, I should have listened more carefully in the comments about sizing — IT FITS SMALL! I’ve always been a Medium with my helmets but the Heritage Medium was super tight.

And as I live in Canada that’s when it got complicated. Noting the other Canadian’s comment, I’d disagree as it does NOT cost half the price of the helmet to mail it back, but it was $25, and then I got a customs charge on the new one that was sent.

So that’s the bad news. The good news is that the Thousand Support team were super responsive and even gave me a refund on the unexpected customs charge, which I appreciated and took the sting out of the process.

So overall, a thumbs up from me, it’s a terrific product, just ORDER UP A SIZE. Safe riding!.

The instructions tell you to make sure the helmet is pulled down far enough over your forehead, and warn you not to keep the helmet tilted up too much. I neglected to do this my first bike ride and got a pretty bad headache.

However, when the helmet is in the correct position, the visor obstructs your view if you’re on a road bike or any other bike with an aggressive geometry. I’m used to keeping a fairly neutral spine and just looking up with my eyes to look ahead, but can’t do that with this helmet as the visor is in the way.

However, the adjustable plastic portion of the helmet goes so far down the back of my head that lifting my head up enough to see forward means the plastic actually digs into my neck. This neck angle, the sharp plastic digging into my neck, and the heavy weight of the helmet (490 grams for the large, whereas most XL helmets I’ve used before have all been under 400 grams) all contribute to headaches and general discomfort.

At a particular head angle, the vents on the top of the helmet will whistle pretty loudly. I have a pretty oval head shape, and no matter how tight I make the adjustment, the helmet can swing side to side more than it feels like it should.

I know my head is more oval than normal because I’ve never been able to find a motorcycle helmet that doesn’t press way too hard into my forehead (without fail every helmet gives me a huge headache after more than an hour of riding, I always have to shave down the front EPS foam with a knife) while still remaining snug around the rest of my head.

This helmet therefore looks way too wide on me, it doesn’t look nearly as good as it does on the models on Thousand’s website. My head is 60. 5cm, but perhaps I should have gotten a medium to compensate for the ovalness of my head—although I’m not sure a medium would have enough length to fit my head, the large already feels pretty snug front-to-back.

The number and size of vents are really very small. I have not used this helmet through a summer yet but I can see it becoming very uncomfortable on strenuous rides. I would have just bought the MIPS helmet which has much more adequate venting and looks like it would be far more comfortable if it 1.

was in stock, 2. didn’t have that light that I don’t need or want, 3. wasn’t so expensive. The U-lock hole so far has worked exactly as advertised, it magnetically snaps back into place and is very convenient; I wish other helmet manufacturers would take note.

The magnetic latch is fantastic, it can be easily done up and undone with one hand once you get used to it, which means no more having to stop after you start riding having forgotten to do up your helmet.

The padding is easy to take off and seems to be very washable. This is actually one of the primary reasons I bought the helmet (although it was really difficult to find a picture of the inside of the helmet anywhere on Thousand’s website, I think I actually had to watch one of their YouTube videos to catch a brief glimpse of the inside of one); my last helmet had forehead padding integrated with a visor which I think must have been made out of cardboard, and would soak up a ton of sweat and was not exactly washable.

I would soak the thing through with sweat in my morning commute, and it wouldn’t even be dry by my evening commute. So it smelled horrible no matter how much I tried to clean it. This Heritage helmet has much less padding and no cardboard visor, so this is not a problem.

However it might have a bit of the opposite problem: there is no horizontal strip of padding along the forehead and the vertical strips of padding are quite thin, meaning it does kind of feel like my forehead is pressing into the EPS foam directly and is not as comfortable as it could be.

I ride a Onewheel GT. After having a pretty violent wreck I promised my family that I’d start wearing a helmet. I purchased the Heritage in Navy and had it customized. It took a couple weeks to get and when it arrived it was very nice looking.

There was one little spot that was whitish but besides that it was perfect. The adjustability is great and the helmet fits me very well. Unfortunately, I had the opportunity to test out the safety of the helmet when I had a wreck at 20+mph.

The left rear side of my head struck the pavement and manhole cover that caused the wreck. I thought for sure I had crushed the shell of the helmet but was thankful for having a helmet on. Once I reached my final destination I took my helmet off and was amazed that there were only minor scratches and the shell integrity was fully intact.

The only resulting injury was a skinned elbow torn pants and a headache.

We do a lot of sledding and snow tubing as a family. Problem is the slope gets icy and fast real quick. For years we have made the kids wear their skate helmets. This past winter My husband started wearing his hockey helmet.

I am careful wear my thick tosel cap and my parka hood drawn tight. I thought my husband has being bit ridiculous until i watched him wipe out and seeing his helmeted head make contact with the frozen snow.

I found the triple 8 that night. it is pretty awesome it protects the head and keeps me warm. As an added bonus i have worn it skating several times this summer hope to never test it out.

I was skeptical about wearing a helmet in the streets because I believed they look ridiculous and thoad I never need it but after getting this one I believe is the best thing I’ve done in a long time.

I feel very confident using it and it also looks very cool. it fits perfectly and I forget I’m even wearing it. i love the vented as I feel lots of airflow and did I mentioned it looks cool. jejeje. I recomend this helmet over all others I did a month of research before I made my mind up and is just the best and most safe option out there the padding is just beyond comfortable.

I ride at full speed most of the time and you never know you need one till is too late. also the price I got it here for is beyond even the Original place of sale. Now when I ride past another skateboarder they always wave.

Going down is just a matter of when will it happen cause we all do even the Pros. It just feels like a glove. And the double certification assures top of the line Professional safety. I used lots of motorcycles,Down hill, and mountain bike helmets and by far this is the best feel of them all been riding bikes, rollerskates,road bike and downhill bikes since I was 6yrs.

Having a larger than average head, finding a comfortable, durable, and good looking helmet is a struggle. This helmet is as close to perfect, for the price. The materials (plastic, foam, and nylon) feel a bit on the cheap side, but they also feel lighter and less intrusive.

For taking a short fall (street or park) I feel confident that it could absorb the blow. If the helmet was a bit higher quality, I’d wear it on a ramp. if I ever dared. Helmets have come a long way since I got my first in the 90s and this is an excellent model for my big headed brethren.

I bought this for myself, and am pleasantly surprised. The pads are large enough for an actual adult (initial fear since I was buying online). The price was comparable for pads that do not include a helmet.

The helmet would fit a teenager.

Opened the box to so my daughter can start to skate, and see that the knee pads and elbow pads were scuffed a lot. I didn’t put those on, just the helmet and wrist guards. They fit really well, and helped when she fell a couple times.

Good product if you can get new.

Bought for my grandson and it was a good purchase. It is adjustable so we were able to adjust it to his head. He liked it.

My son loves the bright orange colour and the reflective coating makes him easy to spot when he’s out on his wheels. My only concern with this product is within 24 hours of him using his new helmet, the foam inner shell let go from the hard outer shell.

I’m not sure if this is common. The foam still seems fairly secure (friction fit?) so I hope it will provide the safety needed.

Helmets were posted as Adult Small. Theses helmets were so tiny that they would fit comfortably on a smaller child’s head. Even with the option to adjust, these helmets should have been labelled as kids helmets.

Unfortunately I could not return as they were final sale from National Sports.

Fits well based on the size chart I referred to. Was the colour I was expecting. I love it! The dial in the back helps tighten up the helmet to your head. Love it.

What an adorable helmet is the CredHedz Pretty Purr-fect Helmet! The helmet has pads inside that are removable for cleaning or airing out if they get sweaty, and the chin strap is adjustable. The helmet is light-weight yet sturdy.

Some other reviews mentioned that heat may damage the plastic ears or eyes of the cat, so we make sure to store it in the mudroom instead of outside or in the garage, and I recommend the same to keep the cute look.

Got this for my niece as a gift, and she loves it. I don’t have to worry about her staying safe, because she enjoys how cute she looks in it, so I know will always wear it.

This is such a cute little panda helmet. I love the pink mohawk and the little smirk, so cute. My son, who’s five, absolutely loves it and it fits his head really well. It feels really safe and very well made.

First off, my kid sweats a lot on his head, I mean LOT lot. So if something was going to be covering his head for an hour everyday, it has got to be light-weight and properly ventilated. And I got to say, I was really impressed with how well ventilated this helmet is, not just in the number of holes it has for airflow, but the placement of the holes is also spot-on.

It fits snuggly around his head as well, though there is a bit of a struggle near the ears, given that Y shape of the support straps.

This Helmet is a mandatory piece for our kids who skate/cycling, it fits on both sports. The best part it is light and strong, off course you cannot compare to a bikers professional helmet, but it will save your kids from any head injury if they fell while skating.

I began to get worried i was going ro get a concussion after watching my husband wipe out and seeing his helmeted head make hard contact. I found the protec full cut and it is awesome. protects the ears and head and keeps me warm.

I have wiped out once and it kept me safe.

This has become my go to helmet. I never did the helmet thing but bought this one for skating. Since then if i need a helmet this is the only one i will wear. When i want some extra protection in the snow or on my bike I wear it.

I love the fact that it is slightly snug on my head and i can leave the strap undone. If i am really getting crazy i do fasten the strap but even then i leave it loose. It feels so much better than my husbands certified helmet with the hard foam.

I am not planning on testing its protective capabilities but am sure it would perform perfectly.

Love the color, bright orange, easy to see. Fits well. My 3 year old doesn’t have a huge head but we find that most five plus helmets are way too small on him. This also comes with thicker pads to put in if the thin ones make the helmet too large.

Razor is a name I trust so I went with this helmet for my 11 year old son. Once adjusted properly, the helmet does not move back and forth with head movement. Full coverage from forehead to base of skull.

The sizing on this helmet is not as all of my other helmets so I needed to return it when I found it was too small. Unfortunately there is a cost for return. It is about the same as the expensive initial shipping cost.

It ended up not making sense to me to return as I would pretty much be paying for another helmet with all of the shipping costs. I am now having to sell it myself online in hopes to get some of my money back.

We do overnight self-supported cycling trips and over the years, I’ve preferred a more casual style when I cycle. This helmet replaces my old Bern helmet and I love that fact that this helmet is Mips-equipped.

The medium fits me well, but make sure you measure your head first. I also picked a lighter colour for cycling in hot weather. I love the matte finish. Special thanks to Altitude Sports for having really fresh stock on hand.

Your helmet needs to be replaced after 5 years from the manufacture date or earlier with a fall or collision.

Ordered online and picked up in store. Fits on my head. Comfortable. Cools my head when needed. Protects my head from too much sunlight. Bicycle helmets does not have head shape (oval, round, etc) I think unlike motorcycle helmets that takes into account head shape so I was nervous on choosing the correct helmet and fit.

But thank God! This one fits just fine on my head.

I was looking to replace my older Brentwood model. The newer Brentwood 2. 0 is now more geared toward cycling and I need a helmet for both skiing and cycling. I decided to give Watts 2. 0 a try. It is warm and cozy on my windy/cold commutes and it seems that my goggles are going to play nice with the visor.

I haven’t yet skied with it though. I have a 22. 5″ head and decided to size down to a Small and I am glad I did. It fits well, though my chin strap is at the end of adjustment.

Just had to renew my boys helmet after two years since the last purchase. The previous helmet plastic screws started to disintegrate so was not risking with the other aspects. We live in the territory and noting seems to last.

Really like the helmet. Fits perfect. Very comfortable. Highly recommend it. I’ve used other helmet brands in the past but nothing compares to this helmet especially for the price. It’s also very light so doesn’t give me as much “neck fatigue”.

Helmet is perfect. Nice and light but feels pretty rigid. Comfortable just like a motocross helmet. Finish is spot on and will be sure to look good at the bike park. Can’t wait to wear it at the bike park.

First impression was above and beyond what we expected due to previous purchases from other stores but when we unboxed the magneto kids helmet the quality speaks for itself. First day of arrival we took our 4y/o to the local skate park and as expected he took a pretty big slam and the helmet did it’s job and protected his head/face.

The very first time I used it with my son he dropped it and it broke where the strap is secured to the helmet. Other then that I really like the helmet the adjustable part is a great idea and it has a great look but that rivet that holds the strap is a big weak point.

I guess he may have dropped it just right to break it but it is a helmet you’d think it would hold up to impact.

Love the classic 2. 0 style, had to size up since my head is just on the brink of medium large. The matte camo is really nice and the helmet itself is as low profile as a large helmet can get. Love the brim style as well! Lastly the included “filler” pieces are a nice touch to customize the fit, and are easy to install.

+First off, Great Style. +Looks super clean if you’re looking for the minimalist/construction hat vibe. -/+The inside is essentially just hard foam and then some thin pads velcroed in. I bought it to fit my head with a balaclava underneath.

Not the most comfortable set up. I would recommend going a little big and wear a thinner beanie underneath for ideal comfort. BUT if you’re cool with a really minimalist interior with some minor adjustment opportunities (comes with a thinner set of pad inserts) this helmet rocks.

+++Also, I really enjoyed the included crown insert that pushed the helmet higher on your head to make room for large frame goggles underneath. Also had to take the ear/neck warmer off because it pinched my ears and I wouldn’t say I have Large/High set ears so that may be a concern for some.
