20 Best Sim Card For Tablet (2023 Updated)

We switched to Cricket from Sprint last year around this time and have had no problems. Before with Sprint, it seemed like we had to call in every month because of a problem with the bill or some other little issue.

I’m sure it wasn’t every month, and they always took care of it, but still it was an annoyance. Since we’ve moved to Cricket, we’ve only had to call in ONCE – and that was because we needed to make a change to our plan and couldn’t get the website to work.

They took care of it quickly. It was a great experience. Only downside to Cricket for us is there is no international roaming. Sprint would give us free (but slow) international data when overseas. With Cricket, you don’t get anything – not even the option to roam and pay extra.

I would love to see Cricket offer this at some point in the future.

I purchased the sim card online but the ICCID is invalid or not found on cricketwireless activation site. I wonder if Bestbuy didn’t scan the barcodes for sale/activation properly. Definitely need to check if the ICCID is valid within the two weeks period on my next purchase.

I’ve just reached Greece and set up my GoFi SIM in my iPad, which I use to sort and post photos, plan activities, as a map and my main reading device while travelling. It’s all working well, thank you.

I did have a few stressful moments getting set up which could be eased by improving the instructions on the card that comes with the SIM. For example, I’d put the SIM into the iPad and turned it on to activate, then reached the step that required the number on the card, so I had to take it out and start again.

If you say, note the number first, that will help. Also, the step that mentions ‘APN setup’ should tell first timers like me that this is found in your Settings and under what section. The language around ‘activating a line’ was unfamiliar to me, perhaps it’s a US expression.

Perhaps if it said activating your SIM it might be more obvious. Anyway, just some suggestions. Thanks for the service. Oh, the SIM also arrived very quickly when I ordered it, which exceeded expectations.

The Lifetime World SIM Card worked great for my trip through Czechia, Slovakia, Hungary, Serbia, Bosnia & Herzegovina, Montenegro, and Croatia. It worked in every country without fail for a month. I had to refill one time and it was super easy.

I activated my card before leaving the US, so was able to log-in to the Keepgo website to check how much data I had along the way. I highly recommend this SIM card to anyone traveling!.

Ordered the Lifetime World SIM Card from the US for a trip to Amsterdam. Sim card arrived a day earlier than promised and was easy to set up and test in the US. Our unlocked Samsung mobile phone has 2 slots for sim cards so we did not have to remove the US one.

On landing in Amsterdam, we switched to this sim card in slot 2 and it worked immediately. Very pleased to be able to have a Sim card for international travel in the future.

The kit I received was missing the black adapters and my phone needed one of them. I noticed that the kit had a sizable cut out for us to see the SIM card (pictured below) through which I could see that with time and movement the adapters might have fallen out or maybe even been taken out.

I spoke to Walmart customer service via chat and they sent me a replacement. I had a lot of trouble picking it up from the store because the order number was not in the system and neither was my name.

Lucky the emplyees at this Walmart were very resourceful and used our phone number and took care of th processing of the order so that we may pick it up. And the replacement kit does have the adapters.

So my recommendation to MetroPCS would be to change packaging. We don’t need the cut out to see that there is a SIM card in there especially not such a big one through which loose items like adapters may fall out.

This was the second ones I ordered the time the package was empty. And this time the would show that the sim card was inserted in the phone.

I got the speedtalk sim card for my son’s smartwatch so I can keep track of him while he isn’t with me cause how the world is anymore is scary. But I am super happy cause I can see where he is and ge can contact me anytime he needs me.

Never could get it activated. The APN url doesn’t exist. Waited 27 minutes for someone to answer their phone and he couldn’t activate it either. Piece of junk.

I simply chose this phone over many others because of the keyboard, which is quite hard to find in smartphones. I regret that decision. I am now on my 4th Samsung Stratosphere. Every one I get ends up having the same issues-charging issues, turning on and off by itself, missed call glitches, stuck keys on the keyboard, freezing up frequently, lagging, and sometimes apps won’t even run.

I do like the camera and how easy the phone is to use. However, the 4 fixed icons on the bottom of the screen are a bit annoying because I only use 1 on a regular basis and would like the ability to put the most frequently used ones there.

I’ve never had problems with any Samsung brand phones before so I was sure I would love this one too but I was disappointed. The battery life is also pretty poor. Compared to others, if you need a phone with a keyboard and not much else, this is the one for you because there sure isn’t much else to this phone.

i owned a stratosphere before and was familiar with it so I decided to replace it with another. The phone is relatively easy to use, but I consistently get complaints on the sound quality when I am talking to others.

The reception on my end is good. The battery life is unusally short, but I got an extended life battery with this one that almost doubles the battery time. I thought I would like the fact that it has a full size qwerty keyboard, but the key positions are awkward and it is hard to reach the top keys.

I liked the feel of my LG ENV much better eventhough it was a smaller phone. However, I have gotten use to the virtual keyboard now and prefer it over the fullsized qwerty board. However, it is sometime extremely sensitive and it picks up the “v” or “b” key a lot when I know I tapped the space bar.

overall, it is not a bad phone but now that I am overty the full size qwerty keyboard, I would definitely pick something else when my plan renews.

First, following their activation instructions failed, so no My Verizon account was created. My number did port and texts functioned. Verizon service is far and away the best in my area so I was happy with that.

What they DON’T tell you is that unless you bring an unlocked iPhone or high end phone from Google, Samsung or LG (or locked Verizon branded phone) you WILL NOT have WiFi calling nor visual voicemail enabled.

Even if your phone supports it. Multiple escalations have not resolved the problem. At the end I got a Google Voice number for the voicemail and WiFi calling, but it’s a hassle I didn’t expect, and if either of these are a deal breaker, either go Verizon postpaid or look elsewhere.

if you are buying this sim kit. MAKE SURE YOU PUT IT IN YOUR PHONE FIRST!!! you will get popup that it need to be activated and go thru the instructions on your phone! and you need to pay via your credit card or refill card.

I did activation process as instructed on the paper. It did not get activated as it should and I used paypal. The order stayed pending forever. it have been 3 days with ZERO customer service. I tried to call their support and the menu need your phone number.

It cant find your new number. DO NOT DO ACTIVATION via their website!!!! Now I have to wait for the money to be refunded to me via paypal.

I have been using Google fi service for a few years but turned the services for the month I travel internationally. Decided to switch over permanently to fi after testing the service for a month to make sure I received coverage on my daily commute and other places I go.

I purchased this for my iPad pro 5th gen. It worked fine Google says it’s not supported but it works fine on my iPhone 13 pro max and and iPad. Only down fall is no 5g or wifi calling on Apple devices but testing speeds around my area.

LTE service was on same level as my 5g services (Verizon). Only places Verizon beat them was in true 5g UW coverage in the city or airport but I was able to stream 1080 even 4k youtube just to test it out.

I like that I can just pause the service on my iPad anytime. Also the luxury to switch plans at anytime. I know google fi isn’t the cheapest or the best plan but if you do any international travel highly recommend it.

But none of the big 3 companies offer anything close to unlimited international data. Also support was easy. I used the online support to transfer my number over took 15 mins and I was up and running Even if you don’t switch over permanently.

Just turn it on before you leave the country and pause the service when you come back. Now every 90 days you have to pause the service but not big deal in my book. I see some people complain about be charged for calls.

Easy way around that. If you use an iPhone to iPhone use facetime with the video or most places I been everyone uses whatsapp so never had an issue. Hopefully 5g and wifi calling make it to iPhones. It’s all im missing.

Best move ever after being with AT&T for 20+ years. Android user experience is excellent. Almost no spam calls since moving. Tested iPhone as well. iPhone users have some setup for sms/mms, but iMessage works out of the gates.

Also iPhone voicemail moves to dial-in or via the Google Fi app instead of in the phone app. Don’t even need this if your phone supports esim. Check Google Fi site for phone support. Overall, extremely happy switching.

Google Fi app is easy to use, porting took seconds after transfer initiated. But review the pros and cons for yourself (some listed below). No stores, limited phones that are designed for Fi. Using an AT&T Pixel 4 XL works well.

Note: special Google versions of phones get best results. Still waiting for my Google Pixel 6 that’s backordered. Support was fast via chat and easy.

Signed up for a family plan using three SIM Kits. I didn’t see instructions for how to do this, but I seem to have stumbled through. So it can be done. And the advantage is that you don’t have to wait for SIMs to be sent to you.

After I signed up, Google was still going to send me three free SIMs. But cancelling those was a simple click on a link in an email. The $30 total cost of buying the SIMs in store was reimbursed via reduction in the first month bill.

I transferred from Sprint before being switched to TMobile. I like TMobile service, but not too happy with the continuing security breaches. Google Fi service seems as good. I set up Google pay with a credit card, but didn’t have to give my SSN or any of the other stuff TMobile has had stolen from them.

I’d give five stars but for the lack of instructions or some sort of description of the process of signing up for a family plan using multiple SIM Kits.

2 and #G not available in my area. US MObile advertises coverage in Fresno as excellent, read 0. In a year, I believe I connected around 5 times at most using broadband by trying from central to Southern California (where I got the 5 connections).

No, it is not the phones fault. I can only use as a phone wireless device. Bought it to use it as a What’s up phone, thus my still sticking to it. Have 2 friends in this area that have same bad experience.

If I had known how great US Mobile was I would have ditched the big companies YEARS ago! Don’t go with A&T, T Mobile, Verizon or whoever. Let me tell you why. I paid off the phone at T-Mobile and told them to leave me alone.

Then they tried to force me to talk to them so they could harass me about joining them again. US Mobile saved the day and got a code from them within TWO minutes T-Mobile swore only they had! US Mobile is on your side.

Pay less and get more quickly!.

While the purchasing / service options are very flexible, the voice quality (clarity, call drops, etc), inability to send photos or attachments via SMS even to other US Mobile phones, and the data issues (slow speed, connectivity issues, and other problems) are something that keeps this service from being considered good and closer to borderline poor quality all around.

For the price, I suppose it may be considered acceptable. However, the data price is too high considering the issues we face so often.

When i was shopping price fir a siim card, retail stores were quoting $15.00 to $25.00!! I found this on ebay for about $3.00. It was easy to install and never had any problems. Win win!

It has everything you’d want in an internet service, however I am having trouble getting it recognized by my printer so I can do Bluetooth printing.

It worked as described and as expected as soon as I put it in a mobile phone, but not in my wifi device. I had some initial issues — I think it had nothing to do with the sim card but the device I was using.

The mobile wifi is able to broadcast 4G but I have only been able to get 2G signal with the sim card. I did test the device locally in AU before leaving and I got 4G signal with a Telstra sim so I don’t know what happened.

I purchased an unlocked mobile phone in the US to use and it was fine. There were times when the the signal fluctuates to H instead of H+, but these were intermittent and I can’t pinpoint an exact location or time of it happening.

Overall I’m happy with the product, I will probably be purchasing one again for future travels. It definitely made a difference in cost compared to getting a roaming data pack from my mobile provider.

SIM card for Consumer Cellular. Works okay, easy install and activation

Got this SIM for two weeks in Hawaii on Ohau, Maui and Big Island. Worked great across all three islands. Good 5G coverage in the main towns & cities. Dropped back to 4G/LTE in the more remote areas.

Delivery, setup and activation with Sim Corner was simple and no fuss. Will definitely use them again. Not the cheapest option compared to getting you own SIM direct on arrival. But worth the extra for the service and convenience of having everything organised before departing.

The phone reception, data, internet all worked great. My phone – an old SE iphone worked well – making and receiving calls in Canada. My husbands phone – a relatively new Samsung A51 A515F was not able to make or receive calls – his internet thankfully worked really well.

I read the fine print about which phones worked on AT&T network for my phone because it is quite old – but it was my husbands phone that was incompatible (His phone is the Samsung A51 A515F which is not compatible where the Samsung A51 that is compatible is A515U – info from Simcorner when we had the problem).

I bought two SIM cards for my husband and I to use in the US and Canada. Very easy to set up and both have worked very well. I mainly bought them for data which has been great. The only downside is that one of the cards in particular has been inundated with US political spam messages and phone calls.

This has been mostly in the US but we had some whilst in Canada too. I’ve just turned the phone to silent so as not to be disturbed by the continual messages, which isn’t ideal but has worked for us.

If you have the ability to figure out how to get your number ported over from your phone company, get Mint’s SIM card to work and get yourself set up on the mint Network without help from Mint’s tech support, I highly recommend switching to Mint because the savings are tremendous and their connectivity is awesome.

It’s too bad that their technical support is so inept. Very friendly and polite but inept. I was told my phone was locked when it was an unlocked phone straight from the Samsung factory. I was told my phone number was locked when AT&T had unlocked my numbers.

I was told my brand new phone was bad and that I needed to send it back for a replacement. Total BS. Then I was told my phone was not reading the SIM card when it absolutely was. The problem was that no wireless bandwidths were showing up and I had to do my own research online to figure out how to access the SIM card through my Samsung Galaxy and set the bandwidth.

As soon as I did that everything work great! It’s too bad that I had to miss an entire day of work with the down time I experienced from trying to get Mint Mobile technical support to help get my phone working.

It was literally a 1-minute fix that they did not even think about trying. Wish I could give an overall five star review, the connectivity really is superb. But their technical support needs serious training and should not be so cavalierly telling customers to return perfectly good expensive phones just because they don’t have the basic troubleshooting skills needed to get those phones working on their Network.

I should not have had to spend the ridiculous amount of time with tech support that I did, I should not have lost an entire day of work, and I should not have had to give myself a crash course in cell phone IT to do it myself when Mint Mobile makes such a big deal about their over-55 customer support plan which is what hooked me in the first place.

I’m really impressed with the entire service from soup to nuts. My first experience back in 2001 was with a non-major MVNO cell provider (Tracfone). I live rural so service was so spotty and the towers were owned by different carriers, even smaller companies, because the big boys didn’t want to set up antennas in this area unless it was along the Interstate.

The Tracfone roaming was able to use them all and I thought Tracfone did a great job to give me communication for this area. Around 2004, Verizon began buying up the smaller providers with existing Towers, plus setting up new ones to where they were the only 1000 lb.

Gorilla around. I switched over to have a regular cellphone with great service and to this day. Also, I’ve kept my landline during this time as cell service was fringe at my house. Fast forward – my landline (Frontier Communications) has annoyingly been getting more and more expensive, especially with taxes and fees they keep dreaming up.

I had enough but still wanted my old number with a 2nd phone at a cheaper price than the lowest $35/mo. my Verizon multi-line plan offered. I began searching and found out that T-Mobile had actually placed antennas on a communications tower right here in my Town so that became a good option as well.

I was never a fan of T-Mobile since they didn’t have presence in areas like mine. In my search of MVNO’s, I came across Mint Mobile being a T-Mobile friendly service and when I saw their $15 all inclusive price I decided to give it a try.

Mint Mobile did a fast job porting my number but I had a glitch with my phone not wanting to communicate with only one bar. I called Tech Support and we tried a few different settings to where the Tech pinpointed the problem was.

He said they would work on it from their end and within 3 hours I should have good signal. In an hour I had 5 bars and the service has been outstanding for the month I’ve had it. I know my 4Gb data is low but I don’t use this phone to surf the net.

It’s just for calls so you can’t beat the price for being able to have a spare phone for cheap. Way to go Mint Mobile!.

For years I had a prepaid Straight Talk phone and plan. Here, those work well with Verizon towers and Verizon is the primary provider in my area. I rarely had problems with my service but the awkward renewal dates and ever more pricey plan and compatible phone costs kept me looking for better options.

Mint mobile offered me the same amount of data for half the price, which made it more affordable to pay for longer time up front. I wouldn’t have to keep dealing with the fact that there are more than 30 days in a month for SEVEN months of the year and I wouldn’t have to take out a loan to prepay for longer plans.

So I checked the coverage maps and reviews, bought a reasonably priced unlocked phone, and made the switch. Thought I hit the jackpot when I found the Black Friday deal that gave me 6 months of 10 GB for about $70.

Then I took my new phone in to work with me and. nothing. My service worked fine until I got inside the building and I lost everything. All around me, people with Verizon phones had no trouble with data or calling etc.

but my phone was off the grid. Uuuugh. On the TMobile coverage map the service availability at my building shows Ultra 5G, the highest quality available in 2021. A local tower search shows a TMobile tower right next to the nearest Verizon tower.

But, in practice I have absolute zero service inside that building. Then I noticed that I have the exact same problem at home. My phone is constantly notifying me that my phone is only able to make internet calls and I pray my internet service doesn’t go out while I have an emergency.

*** deep sigh *** Everything works great up and down the interstate and even out in the winding backroads of WNC and upstate SC. But the places where I spend 80% of my time I have to connect to the internet or do without.

Brilliant for use in motorhome when off grid or on sites with no free internet. (Using mini travel router). Watched a good few films and general TV programs – at our leisure – and it’s lasting well. Only used 7GB so far over 3 months – worth getting 12 month card as the 30 day ones run out usually before yv used all the data! Used for day & night TV and tablet use.

brilliant 24gb sim. Recommended.

Worked perfectly right after inserting the SIM in Switzerland. (iPhone X) I used it across Switzerland from Geneva, Zermatt, Interlaken, Swiss alps, Zurich, and the east border. Used it while hiking and the internet was still doing fine.

Used it for google maps while driving and it always worked in Switzerland. Italy is a different story. Rome it worked most of the time, had to restart my phone once and it would work again. Sorrento it didn’t work as well.

It worked half the time, I would have to constantly restart my phone for the internet to work again. Sometimes after restarting it still won’t work and you would have to wait until it starts working again.

My last stop was Naples, and it worked less than half the time. I think it might be the longer you use the sim, the more iffy the internet gets. The internet gradually got worse as my trip progressed.

It might be the area too but it was strange how after each city the internet would work less and less. Also I got the 12+3 gbs plan. When I checked how much I’ve used, it doesn’t show the extra 3gb that I had so it made me think that I already used 4 gbs in less than one day.

Keep that in mind when you check how much data you have used. The site does not factor in the extra 3gb promotion.

our party of travellers bought 4 x Europe & UK Sim Card (12GB). users ages ranged from 20 to 50+. we had a range of technical abilities in our group, and we all experienced issues to some extent. main issue we all had was loading / accessing the data component of the SIM.

this was not clear to any of us and we ended up relying on other data means for the duration of the trip (local wifi and a skyroam global wifi hotspot). still unsure whether any of us actually managed to use any of the data allowance.

calls between phones were inconsistent and unreliable. calls worked sometimes from one phone to another but not back again. we tested calling & txt before each journey out with varying success. some calls were clear, others not.

most often calls were faint, had delays and not clear. Messenger (facebook) was clearer & more reliable for calls and messaging. overall the concept was a better option than roaming for any of us due to the particular EU countries we travelled to.

but reliability was a major negative for convenience & security. none of us would use these SIMs again.

Easy to order sim & activate. It arrived very fast. A little bit expensive to set up in Australia. Only had the option to purchase the value with Australian dollars which was more then the currency conversion rate of the phone plan.

I waited & called AT&T direct. a bit of a hassle to talk to someone but if you have a travel card pre loaded with US dollars, this works better & is better value.

The SIM card for AT&T worked perfectly. I merely installed the SIM card in the new phone I had purchased, registered the SIM and phone’s MEI # on AT&T’s site, and within minutes I was making phone calls.

I would highly recommend this SIM card to everyone.

his is the cheapest service with longest expiration you can get for your money. At&t cost $10/ month, T-mobile cost $3/ month with only 30 days of expiration. There is no other service that offers 90 day period but H20.

$10 gives you 30 minutes of service with text I dunno what’s the amount of allowable text messages you will get check their website. It comes to about $2. 50 per month. Best if all and to put a cherry on top, the sim card is only a penny.

I never knew a penny can worth something. Tmobile prepaid sim is $10 and so is At&t’s. By the way, H2O coverage is through At&t towers-go figure!.

Pros: It comes with 2 SIM cards (a T-mobile and a Verizon), and both have the $30 credit attached, so long as you sign up for a new account (use a different email) for each SIM. Ting is known for their Customer Service.

It’s pretty good when you need it. Ting used to be one of the most expensive MVNOs. They’ve finally overhauled their old pricing and come up with new plans that are a bit more competitive. Cons: The packaging shows, in fine print on the back, that the $30 credit is applied to the 2nd month’s billing.

This seemed misleading because it doesn’t say that on the front where the big orange banner states “$30 credit”. However, when I signed up, the $30 credit was applied immediately. Overall kind of confusing.

My T-mobile SIM had an expiration date just days from when I bought it. It’s not really Ting’s fault. T-mobile places expiration dates on all their SIMs. But it would help if Ting printed the expiration date somewhere on the outside of the packaging so you know what you’re getting into.

No problem with the card itself. I was looking for a basic plan, just calls and texts, and at $0. 99 for the SIM card + $30 worth of plan credit, I figured I didn’t have much to lose. What they don’t tell you is you need some data on, or your calls don’t come through, then they charge you for data “overage”.

It’s come out to about $15/month (instead of $10), which isn’t hateful, but I’m not thrilled with the lack of transparency there. In terms of service coverage, I haven’t traveled with it yet, but have had the same quality as with AT&T so far.

I’ll probably keep shopping.

there are several versions of this sim card (x1 sim card etc). You may need to contact customer service to get a replacement sim card. Also some sim card may not have credit for the first month. Customer service will tell you the credit applies to the second month even though most sim cards have credit for the first month.

I travelled to China in August 2019. I was looking for a VPN when I came across SimCorner, and after reading some reviews, decided to purchase the 8 day 4GB Asia SIM. My trip was 14 days, so I decided to purchase 2 of the same card in case I used more than the 4GB.

I was so happy with each element of the process, and the product!! Purchasing online was easy and straightforward, the SIM cards arrived very quickly. They come in a small ziplock bag with the SIM card and instruction booklet held together with a paperclip.

A great little pack, and very thoughtful to have a paperclip, as I had packed my iPhone pin (for opening the SIM holder) in my luggage! The instructions were easy to follow and in a few short steps, I was able to activate my card successfully! You receive a few text messages initially from the countries you’re in offering you deals on phone plans just as you arrive into the country, but you just disregard these if they’re irrelevant.

I had complete access to all social media applications I needed in China. Facebook, WhatsApp, Instagram, Google, apps, internet – I never had a moment without internet access! Great service and a great product! I travel regularly, and I will absolutely be purchasing SIM cards from SimCorner for future travel! So happy!.

This is a great way to have a mobile phone connection while travelling. The SIM comes with a plastic sleeve where you can store you own SIM while using this one, which helps to ensure you don’t lose it! With my iPhone, I was able to keep my own number, and apps like WhatsApp continued to work fine.

It was easy to tether to my laptop as well.

Firstly, I was surprised that it was a Thai sim. When I first inserted the sim, I was unable to use data. A quick call to the sim provider was able to resolve the issue, they ‘restarted’ my network and it worked straight away.

Secondly, I had issues making calls and sending messages to any China numbers. I tried a few ways and adding the international code but still no luck. I was able to use data to make calls and send messages instead so it didn’t bother me too much.

But FYI if you are going somewhere remote without internet reception, you might have an issue. What I loved about the sim was that I could use all the social media (Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat, YouTube etc etc) without any issues, nor did I even need a VPN! So this was very convenient.

Overall, I would get it again if I go to china.
