20 Best Silvertip Badger Shaving Brush (2023 Updated)

This Parker brush is Amazing! I have 3 other brushes that came as part of a “package” deal, and while they look nice, and claim to be (or maybe are) Badger hair none of the other shaving soap brushes come close to the Parker that I bought.

The parker’s price is well within the mid range of brush cost but it most certainly is what I had hoped a shaving brush would feel like. It feels soft in the bowl, and I am guessing that is what makes it lather up so quickly.

On the face it feels like a dream. There is no “poking” or “wiping” feeling like the other brushes I have. Instead it feels more like a soft massage. More like a cat rubbing it’s head on your cheek. Silly I know but that’s what I think of to describe the feeling.

IF this brush ever wears out, I most certainly will buy another of the same model.

I’m new to shaving with a safety razor, soap, and a brush, but I knew that I wanted to avoid badger hair brushes if possible, simply because I’d rather not start my day with animal cruelty, even if badgers could take me out pretty easy and would probably have no qualms.

So I went with this synthetic brush. It’s. alright? I guess? The bristles fall out and it isn’t terribly pleasant against my face. However, it makes a great lather with my Proraso shaving soap. So I guess we’re at about average.

Those badgers better be grateful is all I’m saying.

This is an unbelievable brush. It blows away my Art of Shaving brush that cost over 100 dollars. The quality of this brush is fantastic. The photos don’t do it justice. The bristles are soft and the lather I generate is unbelievable.

My wet shaving experience began with an Art of Shaving silvertip badger brush about 10 years ago when I used Harry’s cartridges. It was good but ultimately overpriced for what it was. It didn’t hold up beyond three years and began serious bristle shedding although I took good care to rinse and dry it inverted in its stand.

I replaced it with WSC’s tortoise shell Torch silvertip badger about the time I switched to a DE razor. The WSC brush was a big improvement and at a great price. Now, after many years’ careful care and reliable daily service, it is beginning to give out.

When I went to replace it, it was sold out. I explored further. This Omega 639 silvertip badger brush boasts similar dimensions but at about twice the price. It too was sold out. I decided whichever one WSC notified me was back in-stock first, I’d purchase.

Wow! The Omega likely is or nearly is twice as good. It’s softer and the bloom, while as large as (perhaps larger than) the WSC Torch holds a ton more water and whipped up lather on my face like nobody’s business with the same amount of time swirled atop my Fine Accoutrement’s soap puck.

It’s a monster knot inserted it to a modest-sized, handsom handle. Unbelievable! This is actual luxury. The bristles as described by others feel feather-like. I’m really looking forward to tomorrow morning’s three-pass shave.

The BBS seemed even closer this morning, but that perception may be a consequence of my delight from the purchase of this brush. If you know you like silvertip badger and have the coin, spring for this Omega 639.

It is handsome and elegant inverted in my WSC large-opening (30 mm) stand. Nice to look at; great to use.

Just starting out. I didn’t know what to expect in a shaving brush. But I have reached a point in my life when I have decided, hey, I can treat myself to something that appears to be a notch above, especially if it’s going to last several years or decades.

So I decided to pop for an Omega 639 Silvertip Badger Shaving Brush. (Also, I’m from Wisconsin. Go Badgers!) It fluffs up wonderfully during the 5-minute pre-soaking and lathers up well. It feels great in my hand.

It feels great on my face. After a few months, I can recall losing ONE bristle. Admittedly, I have nothing to compare it to. But I certainly do not regret springing for the Omega 639 model.

This brush is simply the best. However, I am so thankful that I do not have to deal with your company. Dealing with your company is one of the worst experiences ever. Being in business for over 50 years I probably have interacted with at least 5,000 businesses.

Your company ranks at 5,000. That is with 1 being the best and 5,000 being the worst. Glad I have my brush and don’t have to attempt to talk to a person.

Ignore this item’s description text, which strangely and mistakenly refers to badger and synthetic fiber. This is a pure bristle boar brush in a nice compact size. After a nice round of washing, chilled soaking and towel roughing, it’s got a kind face feel.

It gobbled up my late-pass lather on the first real use, as natural fiber brushes will tend to do, but was much better trained on shave two, and is now just great at generation and precision delivery.

It’s a keeper, a great value at the regular price, and was an absolute steal since I found it on clearance.

When I first began wet shaving a few years ago, the first brush I purchased was a Simpson, simply because I knew it was an old brand and I assumed it to be of high quality. After the first use, a multitude of hairs fell out of the brush and, after two years and countless hairs cleaned out of the soap container and rinsed down the drain, I decided it was time for a change.

I’ve been using this Omega for a month and have not lost a single hair. The hair is soft and flexible. While it seems to take a little longer to whip up a lather in the bowl, it does a great job of spreading and lathering the soap on my face and feels great in the process.

I would have been more pleased it the handle were ceramic or some natural material but, you get what you pay for. Overall, I’m very happy with the Omega.

Let me start the review by saying that I am a new DE shaver. I love the experience and use it to shave my face and head. That saying, I don’t have a massive collection of shaving brushes or a real basis for comparison to other brushes because I don’t really know “how its supposed to feel”.

I’m also still learning the proper how to’s of the entire wet shaving process. That being said, I am writing my experience with this brush specifically. I’ve had the brush about 3 weeks, and shave about 2 times a week, so its only been through 6 uses.

I’ve followed instructions about how to use a brush from instructions obtained from both online here at West Coast Shaving, as well as known you tubers. My usage was as follows, I would fill my shave bowl up with hot water and allow the brush to soak in the water for a few minutes while I prepped my face and head.

Afterwards I would gently shake the water free from the brush once, apply shave soap and whip it up in the bowl for a few minutes until a nice thick lather was produced. After the 6th soak, (and the brush didn’t give any previous indication that there was anything wrong) when I removed it from the water and gave it its shake, the entire brush head simply fell out of the handle.

Whatever adhesive is used just gave way. This is the reason for the rating I’m giving this brush. I imagine that the adhesive gave way due to the soaking it hot water, but from what I’ve learned so far, thats normal usage for a shaving.

It shouldn’t have failed so soon. Aside from the above issue, I will also rate my experience overall while it was working. The brush is a nice black gloss color that looks fantastic, and matched wonderfully to my shave setup.

Its what I was going for so I was happy there. I was a bit disappointed to learn that imitation ebony meant that the handle is just plain ol’ plastic. It’s extremely light and felt hollow, which ironically I was able to confirm when the brush head fell out.

Otherwise, it wasn’t that big of deal to me as I knew I was purchasing an entry level brush. The handle itself was also larger than I expected. It was easy to hold when lathering, however I did notice that the grip for me was a little awkward when whipping up in the bowl as my hand would cramp up during the process.

Not sure if most brushes are like this size wise, but for me I feel like it needed to either be a little smaller width wise or a little longer to prevent the hand cramp. But again, I’m also knew to the entire shaving process so it could also be that I’m just not used to the technique yet.

I also purchased it because it is pure badger. I have no idea what other badger brushes are supposed to feel like, but this one felt good. It was soft, but still stiff enough to feel a light scrub when lathering on the face.

I liked that feel as it made me feel like i was really working it on. Researching other brushes, I know there can be complaints about initial smell. This one certainly had an odor when it was wet initially, but I didn’t find it so overbearing and offensive.

It was actually expected and did dissipate significantly with each use. For the few shaves I did, I would notice it would lose about 3-4 hairs, but it didn’t interfere with my shave. Up until the brush fell apart, i was satisfied with this one as a first timer, and I probably would have rated it 4 stars and a good value.

Looks like I’m going to be forced to shop for an upgrade much sooner. I also have not yet contacted Edwin Jagger about any kind of warranty replacement/repair, so hopefully they will be able to assist.

Great brush. I’m new to safety razor shaving. After years of terrible shave’s with Mach 3”s and the like I found there was another, cheaper and more importantly a sharper more comfortable way to shave.

So I thought I’d invest in a good quality brush that will last me years. It’s really soft and comfortable at the tips whilst having a nice strong backbone. It’s soft but not floppy. It lathers up really well and holds allot of lather.

The stand is good but as the brush dries and puffs back up to its large size, it can push itself of the stand, if you make sure the brush isn’t pushed right back in the stand and put a little piece of folded paper underneath the front of the stand (which you can’t then see) it’s perfectly fine.

Very good brush, very happy.

Nice brush. The bristles are at perfect stiffness and it is sized just right. I purchased a brush before this one that I had to throw away. This is a brush I recommend.

I got this on sale, still expensive but a fantastic brush. It absorbs water than my other badger brushes. Makes a great difference. Bristles are soft but not ‘floppy’. Probably suitable for all soaps although I haven’t tried it on a hard soap.

Works great with my Castle & Forbes Sandlewood or Taylor of Old Bond St. Luxury soap. Glad I bought it now – Kent is going all synthetic bristles now. Can’t imagine how that will be.

The first few lathers using this brush are quite striking compared to all other brushes I have used. The hairs are really dense and thick, offering a stiffer hold than lighter badger brushes. I found that it required a few lathers in order to soften the hair tips, after which the lathers became effortless and comfortable on the skin.

It is definitely best suited for “paint brush” style techniques when applying on the face and holds a significant amount of soap, allowing you to fully re-apply shaving soap on your face for a three-pass shave.

Really beautiful hair as well, definitely the Rolls Royce of shaving brushes (unless you go for the even larger option, which would have been overkill for me).

The head is plush and full with the quality flex of a solid British badger brush. Badger hair is brilliant for getting your lather silky and smooth. This brush lets you power through the boiling water in your soap dish to create a lacy smooth lather that coats evenly and sticks.

The red leather storage case is so beautifully throw back that I fear it may grow legs. To be completely honest this may have been too perfect a brush for me. As spoilt as I feel adding this tool to my morning shave routine I believe that Kent has ruined me forever.

This brush fits in an subtle God like manner as you shave. It is the marriage of a perfect fit in hand, a balanced weight for lathering and loft width that is large enough to provide ample soap to coat.

I cannot recommend this particular brush more highly.

These bags are perfect for all my recyclables. The bags are sturdy and can fit an impressive amount of items — I will continue to purchase these! I have two criticisms, with suggested solutions to these issues: 1.

The drawstrings blend into the folded end of the bags too well – either make them a darker blue or a different color. 2. Consider having a dispenser for these bags in your dual trash and recycling containers, (like the dispenser for the trash bags) – it would be more convenient when adding a new liner.

These H size bags fit inside the bins I have but they are a bit tight and hurt my fingers to get them in and out. I just wish they were a smidge bigger. I have 3 Simple Human cans and 2 of them are for recycling and have 2 receptacles inside.

I always buy the corresponding bags because I like that they fit, have a drawstring and are nice and sturdy. I just wish the H were a smidge bigger to fit without being so tight.

The bags are strong and work well. HOWEVER, you need to change the color of the draw strings. The white bags are fine but on the blue bags the drawstrings are too close in color to the bag and can be difficult to locate.

Making them grey or white or any contrasting color would cost nothing and solve the problem!.

I had accepted the notion that badger brushes were the best, followed by boar brushes, with synthetics bringing up the rear. I have a Parker silver tip badger, a Semogue owners club two band badger, and a Semogue owners club boar.

The Semogues are great, the Parker is good (very floppy). The new Edwin Jagger XL might be my favorite brush. I use them all in rotation, but if I had to have only one it just might be the Edwin Jagger synthetic.

I use mostly hard soaps and bowl lather, and have very hard water. It lathers great, and the handle is perfect for my rather large hands. Love the handle.

I was all set to buy a genuine silvertip badger–bristle brush, but then learned that pretty much all the supply comes from China. Can’t imagine Chinese badgers get a humane send-off, so I chose this synthetic instead.

That was in Dec 2017, yet it still looks and works exactly like it did when it arrived. I have extremely coarse facial hair and lather on my face rather than in a bowl, yet this brush hasn’t shed a single hair, and has maintained its pretty-much-perfect combo of soft tips and firm backbone.

It dries quickly after rinsing and has no animal odour. Simply an excellent product.

This is a very good quality brush. But it is not comparable to a silver tip. It has a lot less heat and water retention. It feels more like a best badger from Edwin Jagger to me. Overall I’m satisfied with the brush.

It generates a lot of lather. The bristles are soft, but much firmer than my silver tip brush. This is my second synthetic brush and compared to he other brush (from Kent) it causes a lot less splashing.

This is my first brush so I have nothing to compare it to. My overall impression is good. The construction and feel of the brush is nice. The black and chrome accenting looks very well done. The brush is nicely weighted and comfortable in my hand.

There is nothing cheap feeling here, even though the brush costs less than most of the others I looked at. The feel of the brush is moderately stiff and a bit scratchy / coarse. When loaded with water and a nice soap it’s not uncomfortable, but you do feel those little badger hairs poking at you when you make vigorous circles.

Since I’ve just gotten into DE shaving, I’ll spend some time with this brush but suspect I’ll end up looking for something that has a slightly less scratchy feel to it.

This was a Christmas gift for my husband. I agonized over which one to get him and finally selected this one because of the description. He used it today and said that it was the softest brush that he ever had and that he loved it.

It lived up to its description of holding water with good quality. So he would recommend this brush.

this was my first badger brush and I agree with WCS after trying other badger brushes this is probably best badger not pure. It is just way too soft and comfortable. This bush has a good heft and feels great in hand.

Here is the best part I use this brush almost 3 times a week for the last 5 months and it has not shed 1 single hair trust me I have looked as it shocked me. The brush creates such as wonderful lather and does so easily.

Finally this is a matter of preference but the bloom on this brush is phenomenal so you great coverage easily while still holding a strong backbone. highly recommended !!!!.

Great Brush at a great price!. The brush shipped promptly to me in the USA for a total price of about $78 USD (it costs $120-140 at most US outlets). Despite ordering just before Christmas, I received the brush in just under three weeks Brush size is perfect for me — owning everything from the Simpson Wee Scot through the Chubby 2, this is a medium sized brush with a substantial, beautiful knot.

Mine had no funky smell and has not shed a hair after three shaves. It has already bloomed into a beautiful, wide fan. Nice, soft bristles give a luxurious face feel (most my other brushes are Best or Finest and offer a little more scritch).

Handle height is long enough to not get cream all over your fingers when bowl lathering. An excellent brush overall. Highly recommended.

I have been wanting one of these for years and it turns out that there is an issue regarding the way the badger hair was obtained which means these are no longer produced (I believe). When I found this one, I decided to take the plunge even though I seem to have paid more (I think) due to rarity.

That said, I am absolutely chuffed to bits with it, it definitely produces a better lather than my old bristle brush and is a pleasure to use. It is a perfect size, feels great in the hand and will hopefully last me many, many years.

This is a nice sized knot, making for quick and satisfying lathers. Larger knots like my Duke D3 feel too big for me, and don’t want to release lather as easily as the 55. The 55 fits in the small Simpsons brush case so it would make an awesome travel brush.

The only downside of the 55 is the small handle for my xl hands. I solved this by buying a 56 too, which I rotate with this brush.

A bit scratchy but it will break in. Im going to use it for a few months to do this. I may use a finest , finest 2 band or a silver tip brush once a week just to change it up a bit. Knot is dense, great backbone and lost 2 hairs over the first 2 weeks.

Its a smaller brush, I knew that going in. But its what I wanted. Simpson (my first) , pure grade, backbone, smaller. exactly what I wanted. a good small brush to face foam (not hand nor bowl foam) with during travel.

I keep my vintage gear at home, I pack a shavette straight, a stick of soap , and now this brush. AND an emergency disposable single or double blade blade in my carry on. I can emergency shave with that and a mix of hotel hand cream or conditioner and hotel soap.

Its ok when the airlines have my luggage travel to more exotic destinations then me! Buy it, go best if you dont want initial scratchy, pure if you can break it in. Enjoy!.

This moderately sized brush fits in my shaving bag perfectly, it dries out super quick, doesn’t shed bristles and doesn’t smell like a wet dog when removed post travelling. Lathers up well and feels soft to use with no need to force it into your face to achieve a good covering.

This is my third Simpson’s brush, first was badger which isn’t exactly PC so bought synthetic brushes and they are worth every penny and out perform the badger plus a clear conscience which money can’t buy.

I was disappointed with both quality of lathering and longevity of this brush. About 10 -15 bristles were falling out of the brush every time I shaved. After a few months the whole bristle brush disconnected from the handle socket and I had to glue it back together.

Then I just gave up and purchased a Vikings Blade synthetic badger brush. It was 6 times more expensive to be fair, but what a difference. As they say, you get what you pay for. I don’t recommend this brush.

I’ve been around quality wet shaving supplies owned by my father, uncles, grandfathers, and friends of the family for as long as I can remember. When I finally made the decision to get away from reddi wip shaving creams, I figured a budget grade brush would suffice to start.

After getting this thing in the mail, I quickly realized that the term “cheap” doesn’t always coincide with “cheaply made”… I love this brush. It’s extremely soft and creates a perfect lather. Take my word for it and try it yourself.

If for whatever selfish reason you don’t like it, it’s not like it costs an arm and a leg. Fendrihan’s service has been 100% satisfactory for me as long as I’ve been a customer. You can’t go wrong with em!.

This is the first shaving brush I ever bought. My last one was a gift. I am far from an expert concerning this subject. So with that in mind, I can only comment on the difference between my old one compared to the new one.

The handle on the new one is too small. It is short and stocky. At first it didn’t hold enough soap and lathering was non existent. It works better now. It’s hard for me to blame the brush too much because the soap I am using (Taylor Bond) is now half finished and doesn’t lather like it used too.

There is also good reason to think that I may not know what I am doing when I mix the stuff. It is tough to say that this brush is worth the money that I paid for because of my limited experience on using shaving brushes.

Great Product, very fast shipping. I have uses all of Van Der Hagen’s brushes and this one is the best. It does have a smell when new, that tells me it is real hair, and it dissipates in about 5 days of use, which is about the time the brush gets broken in and starts lathering the best.

On a previous brush I did have the hair come out of the handle after 5+ years of use. I have sense learned that I was not using it correctly and soaking the brush and soap in hot water prior to use. Which is wrong for several reasons 1) It will cause the hair to come out 2) It will greatly reduce the life of the soap 3) It produces inferior lather.

The best way I have found is to wet the face with hot water, wet the brush with hot water then shake the water out of the brush then put the brush into the cup with soap and lather it up. If the lather runs of the face you did not shake enough water out.

Doing it my old way the soap would only last 3 weeks. This way it now last 3+ months.

I am 23, and have been shaving since I was 13. While all the other guys wanted more facial hair, I was tired of having it – especially when I had sever acne problems during my teen years. I could grow a full beard in a matter of days, but facial hair has always bothered me because I have overactive skin inside of my hair follicles.

This creates a kind of “dandruff” on my face when I grow out a beard. So I can say that I have shaved just about every single day for the past 10 years for a young age. If you don’t use the right products, you will just strip your face of skin and irritate it.

I tried many razors, shaving creams, shaving sopas, shaving accessories and what not. I always hated shaving. This brush changed the shaving experience for me. It creates a thick rich lather with the shaving soap I use.

It lifts the hairs for a better shave, and though I am still trying to find the right shaving soap for my problematic skin, this tool always makes the actual hair removal so much more easier, less painful and dare i say FUN! It is a small investment to make, the badger bristles actually being of a great quality that can rival the basic “Art Of Shaving” brush I previously owned.

I wet shave so when I shave I prefer to use mug soap. Van der Hagen is available in my store so that’s what I use. A bar lasts foreverrrr and it’s not expensive. It doesn’t lather up as well as I’d like, and even if it did have a fragrance I wouldn’t care because I use aftershave lotion anyway.

It’s decent for the price.

If you’re here you know this is a big brush, and it certainly lives up to its reputation. I have an average sized face and when it’s splayed it nearly covers an entire cheek. The soft bristles combined with good backbone give a luxurious face massage and lather, but beware it will eat up your soaps.

The sticker shock wore off after the first use, so If this fits into your budget I would highly recommend.

Depending on the soap I use , I may face lather or bowl lather. After some disappointing results with boar , I decided there was nothing better than silver tip badger. But after seeing a YouTube video about breaking in a boar brush, I bought a Semogue Owners Club boar and followed those instructions.

The tips of the bristles became split and the results were fantastic. Bowl lathering was great, but face lathering was fantastic. After soaking in a mug , the bristle tips are as soft as badger and create a terrifically rich lather right on your face where it belongs.

Received this brush yesterday and couldn’t wait to use it. I put it in hot water to allow it to bloom until after I had my shower. When I began the brush was fully bloomed. I used it with Trumper shave soap which is notoriously difficult to lather.

The brush worked wonderfully. I had a nice thick lather in no time. The only thing I didn’t like was its small size but was pleasantly surprised as it outdid some of my bigger brushes. For the price, you can’t go wrong.

Only lost two hairs on the first shave.

I am a big fan of boar brushes. I use them, enjoy them and collect them. I am also a very picky guy in terms of quality and details. I have seen guys using this brush, chatting about her at forums and posting pictures.

For a while, I hesitated to buy it because it is a little pricey for a boar brush, but in the end, it was one of the most famous boar brushes on the market and I had to have it. FEDRIHAN offered the best price, I ordered it and It was on my doorstep two days later.

The quality of this brush is amazing! By far, this is the best boar brush I have ever seen. The knot is a premium quality, nothing like the other brushes, the handle is extremely comfortable and the finish is flawless.

The performance is equal to its quality. I highly recommend this brush to anyone! Everything less will be a compromise!.

The overall appearance is quite nice due to the quality of the craftsmanship. The handle has a bit of weight and is comfortable to hold while working up the lather and putting it on your face. I do suggest that you read the care instructions for the brush as the makers recommend not using a shaving oil with a badger brush.

To overcome this issue I simply made a small adjustment to my shaving routine. I use a multiple pass system so rather than putting on the oil before shaving I put a bit on my face just before doing the final touch-up pass where the shaving lather that has been squeezed out of the brush is applied with the hands rather than the brush.

This gives me the close smooth shave that I am looking for.

When I started wet shaving 15-some-odd years ago I bought a small silvertip brush. I worked well for awhile but over time became too soft and ‘smooshy’. Next I got a free one that W Coast Shaving was giving away as a promo with purchase.

It was OK but too stiff so it would fling soap around the bathroom. After reading the reviews I had my wife buy me this Edwin Jagger best badger brush for Christmas and this one is far and away the best.

Just the right amount of softness and stiffness. I highly recommend this brush.

This was a replacement shaving brush, and although the first one let us down the resolution by Trendhim was fantastic. No quibble, very easy, their customer service is FAULTLESS. I cannot praise them highly enough.

Free return, options of refund or replacement all done and sorted in one week. You cannot get better than that. And efficient, fun and a pleasure to deal with too.

– Shaving brush arrived with a dent on the handle, looks like it felt down on the floor. – On top of the dent the paint went off, it’s ~1. 5x4mm unpainted spot. – After a few shaves paint on top of the handle (around bristles) started cracking, I don’t think it will last long.

– There’s another spot on the handle where paint starts going off the handle, like there’s air in between.

Excellent quality. I could see it was very easy for my boyfriend to make foam (he use proraso shaving soap) and spreaded in his face. He is very pleased with his gift. Excellent service.

Bristles are hard and pointed. Lather does not last throughout the shave despite using good quality shaving soap. The brush may wear-in with use but its simply not as good as my old brush was from the get-go !!!.

The base is a sensible, tasteful plastic and the bristles are long which provides for a good lather. My only suggestion is that the bristle count is only just adequate.

I purchased this exact same brush about 8 years ago and have extensively used this for my shaving routine. I recall when I first started using it a few hairs (maybe 3 or 4 total) fell out and it was a little difficult to get the brush to foam up my soap.

However, that quickly changed after the brush had a little time to break in. Using it 3-4 times a week didn’t take long to get the brush primed. Now, 8 years later, the chrome is just as shiny as it was the day I bought it.

The hairs are all still there except a few here and there. I’d estimate it’s only lost about 10 hairs in total. It’s very well made. The obsidian grip is just as shiny as it was when I bought it. I had debated purchasing a cheaper model, but after 8 years of use and it still looks brand new, i’m glad i forked out the extra money.

plus, the hairs are very soft, not stiff and hard. It really foams up great and gives you a good lather. I would (and have) recommend this product. I would purchase it again; however, it’s so well made I don’t think I’ll ever need to.

Point is, if you’re wanting a quality brush, this is the one. Buy it. You won’t regret it and hey, a hundred bucks for a lifetime brush – not too shabby. Buy it. :).

I have done countless hours of research for a practical silvertip shave brush, and through my efforts, I found B of C. The brush, compared to price of other silvertips, is absolutely affordable. Through a promotional discount I stole this brush for $35 which is comparable to a standard badger brush.

Very good quality. The brush works very well. I really like it. No shredding. You can’t expect a better brush than this. It’s unnecessary to pay more money for a silver tip brush in other brands. This must be same as those.

Simply put, this is an awesome brush! The silver tip soft and luxurious without being floppy, and holds plenty of water, and lathers great. I have a goatee, and the size is perfect for my face! WCS delivered my order in a very timely fashion.
